When we needed to move out of our apartment into a home rental two and a half years ago, we found a place that we liked. Justin scheduled a viewing for us and got us signed up with a new rental agreement in time for us to give our 60-day notice to move out. Once we are ready to buy a house, which will be soon, we will give Justin a call. He has always been quick to respond and willing to work with us. Hes a great agent to work with.

This was my first home purchase and I worked with Chris. What can I say? Well, first off, hes just a great guy. Thats the first thing I look for in anybody I associate myself with, especially when it comes to significant investments.Being my first home purchase, there were times when I felt impulsive (i.e. lets just buy it!), or lost hope (i.e. I dont think Ill ever find what Im looking for). Chris was instrumental in helping me keep a level head through the ups and downs. He took the time to understand what my goals and parameters were in this purchase and always helped advise in my decision-making without just telling me what I should or shouldnt do. Its because of Chris that Ive found a home that I love and am confident is a great investment. Hes patient, an incredibly hard worker and cares deeply about people. In this process I not only found a great real estate agent and a beautiful home, but also a new friend. Couldnt recommend him more.

Carter and Candy were incredible to work with as we were making the move from the East Coast to Houston. New Trust Real Estate has sold three houses for us. Each transaction has been handled professionally and helpfully by J. Carter Breed and Candy Caulton. We just completed our latest sale, which was complicated by needed repairs on the house. Carter and Candy gave us excellent advice and connected us to vendors who did timely work at good prices. They recommended a roofer who saved us $10,000 by recognizing hail damage and helping us file a claim for insurance coverage.

We rented a property from J Carter Breed at 14123 Woodthorpe Ln, Houston, TX 77079 and wanted to share our experience from the renters side. At the beginning of the lease the home was not cleaned as we typically see in rentals and the grass was not mowed, thought this as unusual but went ahead and hired a cleaner to tidy up before our family moved in. All was well for a while and then the large tree next to the driveway shed a large branch right onto one of our cars. J Carters response was non sympathetic and his property manager just wrote an email that trimming trees and bushes are the tenants responsibility. J Carter did have someone stop by a short time later to remove a separate tree in the back yard and trim the tree where the branch fell but they decided to leave the rotted tree in place with a potential for the same thing to happen again. Shortly after this we started to notice a musty smell in the back bedrooms where our young children sleep and thought it might be something temporary. A few weeks later we moved some furniture and found mold on the carpet. After investigating water had been seeping up from the foundation in all our bedrooms. We called J Carter and they had someone remove the carpet in one room until we moved out. We moved our kids to another area and noticed a drastic difference in their cough once away from the mold situation. It was actually said to us the mold is not a big deal which was shocking to hear from a landlord. At this point we were close to ending our lease and J Carter relayed they would begin the remodel after we vacated the home. Once month after we completed the lease the property manager and Vicky Upman decided to deduct charges from our deposit for inaccurate expenses, we emailed to try and clear up the mistake being their construction crew were more than likely the cause of some items mentioned charging for. Their response to our family was there will be no further discussion and surprised to see your threat when all we asked was for a correction to the mistake.Buyers and renters beware of this management companies business ethics and potential for mold to still be in the home. We hope J Carter and associates will remediate the mold before any other occupants enter and hope they will have a look internally towards their business ethics towards their customers.
