Mustang Ridge Apartments

We’ve been here for a few weeks now. The application and lease signing process was quick and efficient. Office staff was very helpful in making sure everything was ready for move-in. We haven’t had any issues thus far.I’ve personally used the gym multiple times. It is well maintained with up to date equipment. Haven’t used the pool but the pool area is immaculate. No issues with mail or packages. Met a few neighbors who have all been friendly and welcoming. I’ve seen comments about dog poop but you can’t blame the complex for the actions of irresponsible dog owners. Poop bags and trash cans are abundantly available for you to clean up after your pet as requested.Overall I would recommend this community to others searching for an apartment home.

I’ve lived here two years and loved the mark however towards the end this place was going down hill!The new management and owners have done a 180 with this place in a short amount of time! I love living here it’s gorgeous and peaceful! For apt living the pool is huge and so is the dog park and the new management has been great about making sure both amenities stay CLEAN!

The office staff is so friendly, they definitely make you feel right at home I was so surprised due to dealing with previous unfriendly apartments! The apartments that I toured were very clean and pretty. This complex has a lot to offer I am definitely excited to be moving in this spring and using the pool!

When moving in 18 months ago while the switch between companies happened everything was nerve wracking. With the new manager Kamrii and Krystal, things have improved immensely. They are amazing and made the living experience here so much better. 10/10 would recommend. Thank y’all so much.

Just wanted to give these ladies a review after going thru the process and getting my belongings in. First of all, the manager and both other women in the front office were friendly and helpful throughout the entire process and had answers for any of my questions. The application process itself was smooth and really fast. The unit I chose is in mint condition and was 100% clean upon arrival. I look forward to being a part of the community. Thanks ladies!!!

Super nice apartments with all the amenities. Great front office staff. They always planning special events to bring the residents together to feel apart of the community. Plus, they are all really nice and helpful. Go ahead and sign that lease! You won’t be disappointed!!!.🤗

The Management is horrible! Good luck getting any type of statements. Requesting for bills to printed out is a joke. When they first took over I ended up having to pay $1,200 more with their billing error. Constant changes in the office with people. When I moved out they were on Manager #8. The amenities is a joke the pool is closed as well as no access to the fire pit or grills. And the gates have not worked since probably March

If you would like to have your locked garage broken into, then live here! On top of that this apartment is known for cars getting stolen! The only thing keeping thousands of dollars of your stuff getting stolen is a door handle lock. No wonder why people’s garages have been broken into! Ever since Mustang Ridge took over it has been nothing but awful experiences. For how much you pay for this damn apartment you would think they could give a crap. In my personal experience, do not live here. For how much you pay there is so much nicer out there.

Maintenance: Jacoby is amazing. All of their maintenance workers are respectful. However, anytime we’ve had Jacoby he always goes above and beyond. We had an old maintenance request get lost, we called and he was at our unit within a half hour and got the job done within 20 minutes.

***update***I still would NOT MOVE HERE!As I figured still no results. I did get a call from Kamri and she did say they were working on the mailroom and they could change out the fire alarm. However, no gate resolution still. I’m really NOT sure why anyone would only want ONE WAY INTO YOUR RESIDENCE?! One app, no code to enter, or fob to use incase the app is down or there’s an emergency. Well, if there’s an emergency the police and fire can get into the complex. Well, when there are other emergencies that happen for example last night Feb 2nd my mom was in a wreck lost her phone in the wreckage was sent to the hospital then released but guess what?! Can’t get into her apartment bc don’t have her phone with the ONLY WAY IN the app so now what? Oh that’s right sit and wait for someone to come along and open the gate that way. That’s what we were told to do before. So now can’t get in can’t get to anything she needs like medicine, clothes, NOTHING!SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS! You should not have to rely on an app to access your own residence period!! UNACCEPTABLEAgain I’ve emailed corporate, called, left messages and nothing. Today I was told Jenny is on vacation again for the second time, how convenient. This is unacceptable and unprofessional and I will keep continuing to post and stand up for what is right. And I hope if you’re a resident here that you stand up for what’s right. If you think having only ONE WAY to get into your residence is ok, I pray that you don’t go through what I have with my mom these past 10 or so hours. Not being able to access your own house when you need to is UNACCEPTABLE PERIOD!I would NOT MOVE HERE!There’s been nothing but PROBLEMS from day 1!I’m not even sure where to start. The rude management, the gate issues, the constant fire alarm system going off at random times, the mailroom that is CONSTANTLY PILED WITH PACKAGES EVERYWHERE which is a tripping hazard. We were told we had to get an Amazon locker for packages. Ummm if it’s mandatory why is this mailroom a constant disaster?!That’s just a beginning. Oh I can’t forget the free months rent that we never got supposedly because of the previous staff messed it up. And that’s my fault how 🤷🏻‍♀️Because the fire alarm kept going off they said well if it keeps happening we’ll disconnect it. What?! That’s illegal and I would think being in a ADA apartment you sure don’t want to do that.I’ve called, emailed corporate, gone to the office with no luck. Just a big bunch of attitude from management.Also, why close the office due to weather when you have staff living on property? That makes no sense what so ever! The office is closed more than it’s opened. Really closed due to weather? You live there you don’t have to drive just walk to work.I’m sure I’ll get some “canned” message of how sorry they are blah blah blah. Don’t bother sending it. If you truly care then reach out to me and resolve all these issues or better yet let me out of the lease and I’ll happily move out of this horrible property.

If you are considering renting an apartment here, I advise you to choose literally anywhere else. Ever since this place has been taken over by new management and renamed Mustang Ridge, everything has gone downhill and many who live here will agree with that statement. At first the rude front desk employees, horrible mailroom standards, and constantly open gates were bearable, but very recently we came to find that we had HUNDREDS of dollars worth of items stolen from our LOCKED garage. When we asked for help trying to find the culprit, we were told just to file a police report and that the apartments were not at fault so there was nothing they could do when in fact the lack of security is obviously what got us in this situation. The fact that anyone can get in regardless if they are a resident or not is completely unsafe, especially since the gates have not been in operation for months now. Although they claim these apartments are luxury, that is actually far from the truth. Staff are extremely unhelpful and couldnt care less about any complaints they receive, which has resulted in many residents leaving which will likely include ourselves as well. If I could give this place a rating of zero stars I 100% would.

The ladies and maintenance work their behinds off to offer residents the best possible living experience. This is not a review of the parent company DARCORP as much as it is of the individuals who I know personally and are a pleasure to live amongst- Tanisha, Kamrii, Christal, Mike, Shay, Jacobi, and Ms. Terry. May the LORD Jesus bless each one of them 💗

Love this complex !! The new management is amazing and making great changes . Ask for crystal the leasing agent she is the absolute sweetest and is so understanding.

Be prepared to live in fear that the office will set the extremely loud smoke detectors off in your apartment randomly and scare the crap out of you at any point on the day. I work from home and am meeting with clients virtually and it is very disruptive when the alarms go off. Not to mention how disturbing it can be for pets or people who are sensitive to loud noises. They even went off twice in the middle of the night once. No one even evacuates the buildings anymore because we don’t think it’s a real alarm. This should be a HUGE safety issue. The apartment itself is nice, but management and amenities need work. One of the TVs outside by the pool has been broken since I moved in over a year ago. Not even sure if the other TV works because I just quit trying to mess with them. Fire pits do not work. Gym is not cleaned regularly. Very disappointing consider the amenities and beautiful pool area is what drew me to move in.

This property is absolutely gorgeous!!! All of the staff are so welcoming and so kind! — One of the staff in particular was Emmy Thomas! She was so helpful and I couldn’t thank her enough. If you are looking for a safe and home-feeling community, this apartment complex is the perfect choice! It will not disappoint and you won’t regret it. :)

Love the amenities this apartment complex offers! I love our apartment. The big kitchen islands and built in desk are huge bonuses. The pool area and office literally look and feel like a resort. The new management staff have been awesome! The are very friendly and helpful. They have definitely up the standards and made this a great place to live!

Avoid this place like the plague. Theres just a bunch of money, hungry idiots who are friends with a tow truck company that even after they tell you where to park at, they still have you towed and say they cant do anything about it or theyll just boot your car and make you pay more money for it. My son borrowed our car and afterwards went to office to tell them and office told him to park in guest parking just to have it toweed by there buddys then my son was told by office there nothing they can do about it the tow company dies what they want , so that means they have free range to tow any car they want, plus he Registered his car in the office but didnt put the sticker up for a night.And had a boot put on his car that he had to pay a thousand dollars to get off. So move in there if you want , but keep in mind your car is not safe if their buddy who owns a tow truck needs some money.

I love living here! Beautiful apartments, fun activities, close to everything and a great staff! Best in Weatherford!

I had a great experience with Tanisha, the manager. She was nice, professional, and answered all of my questions.

Recently the property was taken over by a new owner. Since the new ownership this has been our experience.1. There’s zero communication.2. Basic amenities are broken with no communication on when they will be fixed.** as of 21st our gate has been broken for over a month and now our elevator has been down for a week.3. The property is dirty. Walking down the stairs and the first floor is disgusting.4. Since the new ownership our rent has went up and we have LOST amenities.There was recently a leak under our bathroom sink and they tore down everything and then left it there to air out the glue. As of this review it has been a month and it still hasn’t been fixed. We have called and put in a request and quoting the office “ it’s not a priority and he will get to it when he can”.You’re going to be paying 2k a month and you can’t even get maintenance to fix something simple.You can go anywhere else and pay less and have a newer property that is ran correctly. Save your money and look elsewhere.

My husband I have been living here for almost two years and have really enjoyed our time here. The most difficult time is when they changed over new management due to new buyers but besides that it has been great! Anytime we have a maintenance issue, it gets resolved quickly. Unfortunately, people tend to not pick up after theirs dogs… but besides that, totally recommend!

I have lived here for 2 years and I love it! It’s very dog friendly and has one of the best pools EVER! The staff is friendly all the time. I think my favorite feature here is the elevators. Makes it so nice so I don’t have to use the stairs. Come live at the nicest apartment complex in Weatherford.

I am impressed by the staff of Mustang Ridge. Everyone has been so helpful and persistent in making sure everything is covered. They seem to work very well as a team and help each other as well. There have already been so many fun activities and refreshments in this little community and it has made this transition fun for my kids and smoother for all of us. We are very excited to be a part.

We are happy here. The present staff are so welcoming and friendly. They adress our questions and needs right away. It is important that as tenants you are happy where you live. We consider mustang ridge not just an apartment, but our home. Ashley, the assistant manager is very helpful and responsive.

OMG!! First, let me say the property is very beautiful. I went early one morning and was impressed with the aesthetics and the treats for visitors. I was greeted by an assistant who was helping someone and still acknowledged me. Shortly after, another woman appeared and asked to help. She introduced herself as Mrs. Jannette. We spoke about the units and my possibility of renting. She was so knowledgeable about what I needed and wanted. I just wanted to share my enthusiasm about the staff and their professionalism.

This place claims to be luxury apartments but they are far from that. Outside reeks of dog poop and there is dog poop left in the hallways and sidewalks. The rent price is ridiculous for what it is. The inside looks nice until you really start to look closely and you realize it this place was sloppily put together. Good luck getting mail delivered to you. There are no cameras in the mailroom and packages are never placed in the package drops. They are left out on counters where they get stolen. Nothing done about that. We had Monday through Friday trash pickup which was convenient being that we don’t live on the first floor. Now it was cut to three times a week. Which would be fine if I was living here alone or something but I have a family with children. It builds up quick. Giant pothole in the parking lot has yet to be fixed. Both times we had someone parked in our paid spot there was nothing we could do about it. Wouldn’t be that big of a deal except we pay for it for whenever storms come due to the hail damage. Kind of annoying whenever you finally really need it and it’s being taken and nothing is done. The elevators are out of service way too often. Overall, some of these things may be tolerable, but not for the ridiculous price of this place. Can’t wait for our lease to be up so we can leave.

Nice place, nice amenities, people seem friendly. If you are ok with what goes along with apartment living, it’s great. Only downside is loud music late at night, and pool/bbq parties lasting until after midnight (during warmer weather). Perhaps a playground would allow the putting green to be used for what it’s meant to be. Also, I’d suggest powered scooters, bikes etc, not be allowed on the sidewalks (I’ve witnessed mishaps with wheelchairs and walkers). Maybe the new management will have better control over these issues. Overall, a nice place to live.

I’ve been living at The Mark for almost 2 months now and I absolutely love it! I had one issue with crickets I had to call about, pest control came a day or two later, and I haven’t seen any since. One con is calling the leasing office. You will have to call three times to get an answer but it does not bother me as much. They have upheld everything they promised when I moved in. I just received my signing special and have been very pleased with the customer service. Overall I rate it a 9.5/10!

At first everyone is really nice and welcoming, after the new wears off they’re very rude. I have no air conditioning for going on a week now and when I talk to them about it they tell me unless it’s 85 degrees out then there’s no priority to fix it. Just going to have to wait till maintenance gets to it.. Just fix my air conditioning. maybe hire outside company if your company can’t keep up with the demand of items needing fixed. and if you could get to fixing the elevator that would be great too.

Kiersley is a rockstar. We recently moved out due to our neighbors not understanding that they have people that live below them, thats not why I am writing a review.Corporate is awful and were super disrespectful when I went in to address my issues when Kiersley decided to take a break for her bday. I went in to discuss with a director of some sort, I said you are the 3rd or 4th manager we have talked to since moving here and immediately cuts me off and says, I am a director which shocked me by how she conducted herself during our meeting.Once again, I felt like they were super dismissive of my issues and asked me and my pregnant wife, have you not lived in an apartment before which seems like a corporate line they teach to tell residents since I have heard it more than once since moving to this facility, not by Kiersley but from every Manager and now Director.The only reason we never went to court for the amount to pay to break lease was Kiersley, she was super nice and the best assistant manager weve had here. She took the time to listen and TRY to address our issues but corporate likes to blame her and use her as a scapegoat for their incompetence.Overall, she showed me some future changes they have lined up to make this more of a luxurious place to live since the last management really let it go! They are going to bring back testing the dog poop and fines for those that do not follow the rules. As well as other changes to address cleanliness and resident noise complaints.I think if they implement the changes we discussed it should be back to normal! The property itself is nice and has a bunch of potential. Overall we did not leave due to the facility but for the lack of response to our individual issue with our inconsiderate neighbor

To sum up my experience in one word; outstanding! The support and help I have received from staff have been overwhelming. From helping with administrative things to getting a feel for the complex and city, the staff certainly goes the extra mile! Not only are they helpful, but they are also very understanding. I highly recommend moving here!

My first apartment in texas and i love it, everyone is kind and feels safe. The gate is often broken but seems to get fixed quickly as do most other issues that arise which are inevitable so as long as they are taken care of it is all good. love th cute events they host and is a nice place!

The office staff are helpful and the maintenance workers are so quick. Common areas are kept in decent condition, though the dog poop sometimes gets out of hand.The exit gates are often stuck open and so people use them to get in which is extremely dangerous.The apartments themselves are still very new so only time will tell as to how well they hold up.All in all a pretty good place.

I am just moving into Mustang Ridge and I must say the service, the amenities, and most importantly, the staff have ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC! They have been accommodating, understanding, and most of all, HEPLFUL! If anyone is looking for a place to call home Mustang Ridge Apartments is my recommendation!

I moved in in January and I definitely don’t regret it. This place is amazing. All the lady’s and gents in the office are always so sweet and helpful! And our Super Bowl party was a BLAST!!

Malia Camino is the Best Leasing Consultant a girl could ask for!I was super nervous when visiting Mustang Ridge. Looking for an apartment can be intimidating... But thanks to Malia the entire process was phenomenal!From start to finish I felt educated not pressured. She really cares about her tenants.

My fiancé and I just moved here and we love it! All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. It is very peaceful and they do a great job at keeping things cleaned up!

This is marketed as a luxury apartment. NOT EVEN CLOSE.Absolute terrible customer service. Rude Front Desk Members. Terrible mailroom practices, resulting in package theft. WHO STEALS FROM A CHILD! You will tell them about your missing packages and they will not help in any way. No cameras in the room and so package companies will just leave packages out and people can take them at will. The front desk has even told me they don’t have cameras where the packages are left. The gates are consistently a problem, and parking is always a hassle. For the price you are paying you would do much better to seek out another complex. The smell of dog poop when the wind is blowing is terrible! Supposedly they have a policy but it is obviously not enforced. I do not recommend these apartments. Gave one star because you cant leave zero!

Very nice apartment complex. The staff host monthly activities to assist the residents to get to know each other. The pool is awesome. I would recommend Mustange Ridge of you are looking for an apartment.

Very easy move in process to an extremely nice brand new apartment. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Nice Amazon hub in the mail room, workout room, put put golf course, pool, and many more amenities. Very friendly, quiet, and helpful neighbors! Best apartments I’ve lived in. Coming from owning my own home I was concerned about renting again but this process has been painless.

Ive been trying to get in contact with the place for weeks now and it rings until voicemail. Tried talking to an agent on their website and the agent didnt help . Said to me to go there since they are not answering. Im not exaggerating when I tell yall Ive been calling every day for 2 weeks and nothing. I live far away and i work another 2 hours from there and Im trying to cancel a renew lease but I cant because I dont get any answers. It is very upsetting .

Great apartments, great community atmosphere, and the staff are some of the best I’ve ever dealt with. They are a little pricey but for the amenities and how good the apartments are you’re truly paying for what you get which is great quality.

Been here for a month now and loving it! Having a backyard for my pups is amazing. It’s hard having a bigger dog in an apartment but having the backyard is great because he gets to go out and be in the grass instead of inside all day. The gym is also very nice, I canceled my gym membership to just work out here.

Sadly the level of noise at pool area has increase during the time the pool should be closed. This issue gets reported to management by several residents yet nothing get done. I have being told there is a police officer in campus that would handle this type of situation but you can call several times and you get no response from anyone, and the saddest part is when you talk to office personnel, they acknowledge there is a problem, that larger number of crowd is present, drinking, over 50% that are not residents but they are scared to confront the people at pool.To make things worst, management have being informed that drunk people have asked residents to step into pool area to get into a fight with them when resident has asked them to reduce noise, residents safety is definitely not one of their first concerns.

My lease has been about a year, super nice at first but now it’s turned to the gates hardly ever work, the mail room is insecure , the packages are stolen, and since the gates are always broken and open the packages also are sometimes set at your door instead of the mail room. Office didn’t have answers for that. We’ve had our apartments sprayed for ants 2x and somehow still have carpenter ants. Oh and the the already expensive studio went from 1 grand a month to $1300 base rent in our lease renewal. So? Yeah the marble counters are nice but……

Awsome place!!! I fell in love with this community it is for sure a place to call home.. love the staff especially the manager Jannette she showed lots of TLC she seemed to care about my needs. Loved her personality 🥰

Absolutely loved this place a woman named Emmy (I don’t know if I’m allowed to say her name) well dressed and spoken made us feel comfortable let us take our time n asked all the questions we needed to without us feeling dumb or rushed lol woman deserves a raise !!

Me and my boyfriend visited the property and fell in love. He is currently retired and we want to sell his home for easier living. My daughters suggested the property.

Love living here. It’s real quiet and maintenance responds very quickly. Front desk workers are real nice and respond to any emails and questions asap.

There is a Amazing property. The staff is wonderful the residence are great. Serves every five stars if anybody’s looking for a luxurious apartment complex, I recommend Mustang Ridge

This place may be pretty, but it has so many problems dont even bother renting here. When I first moved here there was rust covering the bathtub and inside of the dishwasher and - upon trying to clean it - I found the bathtub drain wasnt even attached properly and was COVERED in rust on the inside as well. The place came littered with dirty handprints, and the dishwasher doesnt even work latch properly anymore, thus wont work. The door to the laundry room stopped shutting properly the first month into renting, and now has a box there to keep it shut. Theres a huge gap between the outside patio door, and none of the locks work properly. Do yourself a favor and do not move here. I will attach photo proof for evidence.

This property is so beautiful and the staff was so helpful and friendly. I cant wait to move over here soon. I recommend this property to anyone who is looking around this area!!

Kiersley is phenomenal, she walked me through the process of applying for an apartment and checked in every step of the way to make sure things ran smoothly!

Locator for a client. Leased an apartment. Paperwork/application was lost twice. Wound up with a different apartment from the one they chose. Was promised washer and dryer by move in and still dont have it 3 days after moving in. Front and Back door wouldnt lock upon move in. Was finally repaired 4 days after. Employees at the front desk are not helpful, lied to my client about washer and dryer installation hold up. Statedwhats the big deal? There are several laundry mats in the area when confronted about not having the washer and dryer installed as promised. No calls to my client as courtesy.... Management is not the best for this new facility.

I just moved in, but I love it so far... and I feel I researched every apartment within a 100 miles. The reviews are what drew me to this property, and the office staff with the nice apartments sealed the deal.

Kiersley has been the most amazing and a God-sin… she is so helpful and knowledgeable that it eases my anxiety everytime i have to go to the office.

I’ve lived here 2 years and love the amenities and how close it is to all the shops and restaurants in the area. I’m happy to call this my temporary home.

The move in process was a breeze, the amenities are all top notch, the gym is adequate for doing light - medium workouts and the neighbors for the most part are all very nice!

Open the gates

It is interesting to see that so many people are getting a good experience living here, because we have had anything but that.I cannot in good faith recommend this apartment complex to anybody. The shear amount of issues we have faced greatly outweigh any kind of positive experiences. To name just a few:* I called the maintenance line after hours to request help getting in to my unit, as my keys were left in my car at a shop overnight. I know everyone of the ladies who work in the office, I have been down there to talk to them several times and they always call my by name and know what unit I live in. Despite this, I was refused any assistance in getting my unit unlocked as they could not verify I lived there. I offered to show my license, which has the complex and my unit listed as my address, and even stated that the person I was speaking with knew who I was. I was still refused any assistance getting in, instead being told to call a locksmith or wait until the morning. I was forced to call a locksmith and pay, because as a disabled veteran I have medications I have to take daily. Of course though I wont be reimbursed or anything for needing to get in my apartment and having to pay to do so, rather than having one of the employees who know me come and and help me unlock the door.* The walls are paper thin, we can hear our neighbors constantly yelling at each other, and when their kid wakes up in the middle of the night we can hear the crying and screaming in our bedroom. We also have extremely loud upstairs neighbors who I have made several complaints about, to the point of having to call the WPD and ask that they go and talk to them. I was assured management would speak to the residents (with whom I already had several talks to myself in order to try to resolve the issue at the lowest level), yet they remain loud throughout the night.* Our washer has had no hot water hookup since we moved in. Our dryer does not turn off by itself, so we have to go and open it and guess when we think the clothes are dry, or else be forced to leave it running and rack up the electric bill. I spoke with maintenance about this when we were about 3 weeks moved in, and they said they would look into it. Of course, that didnt happen, so I had to bring up the issues again only to find out the washer/dryer we have in our unit is not the same as everyone else, so now we are at the mercy of a 3rd party company and are still waiting on any kind of resolution. Still no hot water for our washer, dryer remains running until we open it ourselves.* The gates are seemingly always left open, even throughout the night. No real sense of security. Gates are supposed to be opened through an app but there is no secondary measure in place to open them if that fails, no keypad code or anything.I highly advise to consider some of the other surrounding complexs in Weatherford or Hudson Oaks if you are looking in this area.
