Residences at Holly Oaks

I had the opportunity to visit this property and meet with Jennifer the manager. I was very impressed with the propertys curb appeal for the price. I was welcomed at the door on the day of my tour and Jennifer went above and beyond during the tour and after to answer all of my questions. While my circumstances changed and I ended up not leasing, I will absolutely move there if my situation changes in the future.

This property needs 0 stars. I will be reaching out to corporate as well.Seemed like a nice property but my god it was the complete opposite. DO NOT RENT HERE. Jennifer the apartment manager is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. While on property the use of the N word was heard twice. The use of profanity and non-job related conversations that were heard by myself while there very disgusting. Crazy thing is she closed her door only once, But not all the time. I can’t explain how I was uncomfortable especially when the maintenance guy Roger was in The room and said nothing when the N was used. No correction or nothing. At one point they called him when he wasn’t in office a “good boy”. I wouldn’t expect much of him because from I experienced Roger doesn’t communicate information very well at all either. Ms Kim was on vacation and I will be reaching out to let her know my terrible experience. Horrible experience I had in office.

I absolutely love this apartment complex. The second i stepped into the office she made me feel so welcomed and loved. For a first time lease signer she’s took the time out of her day to make sure i was ready, and understood everything i was signing. Jen has done everything to make sure i felt at home. She’s the most loving and kindest human ever. I’d always highly recommend Holly Oaks. She’s definitely built an amazing little neighborhood, i couldn’t be more happier living here with my small family.

Jennifer is a very helpful person she is awesome on what she does. She had me in my apartment same day. Everyone here loves her and all the kids comes see her say hello before they go home. Holly Oaks is like home. Jennifer is the best and she does a great job. If you need a place like home come to Holly Oaks

I have lived at holly oaks for months and I can honestly say I’ve never felt more at home the community is amazing everyone is there for each other and takes care of one another I’ve never had a issue with another resident and the property manager Jen is amazing she treats everyone with so much respect even when they don’t deserve it, she cares for everyone as her own and constantly does whatever she can the people who live here truly are family I would recommend our home/village to anyone

I cant even begin to write how great Jen is! She is awesome and does all she can to help her residents! Always has the door open to anyone having problems and such! Great apartment manager and great person!

From my experience of living at these apartments, I can guarantee that you will find some of the best neighbors this city has to offer. Not only that but the management always puts effort into setting up events like holiday parties or even a simple meal! I highly recommend moving into our warm community.

I love living here! The apartments are very well cared for and it’s always very quiet. Jennifer is the kindest and most dedicated manager I have ever met!! I have put in a few maintenance requests and they’ve been taken care of promptly. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. Very rare find.

If there was 0 stars, Id absolutely select that option. Jenn is the worse and needs to be terminated immediately. She was great showing me the apartment until after I signed that lease she was as useful as a white crayon. She got my vehicle towed by telling me there was no paperwork or anything to fill out while having my personal vehicle there and it ended up getting towed... had to pay $500 to get it out and they refused to reimburse me. Not only that but I chose to do early termination for my lease because she was useless and wouldnt answer her phone or text back to answer any questions I had. I hope this helps whoever is reading😊

Jennifer the office manager is so amazing, she is the kindest office manager I have! I looked at so many apartments before I moved here and this is by far the the most respectful and kind staff! They get things fixed fast and are so kind when you call. They always answer the phone and are quick to answer maintenance reports. Chris and Jake the maintenance men are so the kindest The property is kept very clean, warm, and welcoming. Everyone is very professional and welcoming.

Wish I could’ve seen the apartments so I could rate higher.. not for my lack of trying!Scheduled a tour and received verification, so it wasn’t a tech issue. Showed up and door was locked. Waited outside for 30mins, multiple residents coming up and asking me if the door was locked, sighed, then walked away. Another resident said whoever was there was away on a “call” but if she could answer that call, why not mine? Why not leave a note, quick voicemail, send an email, anything? As I was leaving for another appointment, someone came out the front door and stood there. I never saw her walk in, or any type of vehicle come by, so I truly believe she was sitting there the whole time. Very unprofessional, and very telling of what kind of complex this is. Seems I dodged a bullet!

I’ve lived here since January, and never had a negative experience! Maintenance is very punctual and so kind anytime we need help. Jake from maintenance installed our dishwasher less than 2 days after it started having issues. Jen (apartment manager) is always 100% willing to help. Rent is a great price, and apartments are clean. Nothing bad to say!

I’m writing this for my in-laws who live at Holly Oaks as they do not due the internet. When I have had to go to Jennifer at the office I’ve always had a great and helpful experience. She’s been good to them and us and i highly recommend them. The property is kept clean, units maintained and the property is very quiet. A true little gem!Thank you for all your help!

My niece leases an apartment at holly oaks. Her sister came to spend the night and in 5 hours her car was towed. It cost her $318.00 to get the car back. So apparently EVERY car including visitors have to be registered to be on the property at all. I notified the police who told me the towing company(Apollo from Ft. Worth) didn’t notify them of the removal in there district. They didn’t notify anyone nobody knew where the car was. You would think there would be a procedure. I know that’s not the case. All in all it seemed pretty shady to me. No visitor signs posted for them to park. Only 1 sign when you turn on the road to the apartments explaining the rules. Please stop to read the small print to get the information or you will be in the same boat as my niece. It is so sad that a paying tenant can’t have a family member spend the night. Of course they have a contract with this company(Apollo) so they are making there money off of holly oaks paying tenants. Shame on you holly oaks.

Holly Oaks recently changed management. I lived here with the old management and also through them changing it over. I also still currently live here and extended my lease 6 months. I have to say I know a lot of reviews haven’t been the best but keep in mind until recently it was under different management. The new management team has been absolutely amazing. I’m constantly having to email Megan Mann random questions I have or if I need more detail about things, she always answers as fast as she can. She never makes me feel like a burden for having to email her so much even if it’s just a small stupid question to clarify things for myself. She even has answered my emails after the office is closed, no other apartment has ever done that for me. Honestly going above and beyond. They also have started renovating things that have been neglected for a while, including repainting the outside, removing old wood, power washing the building, I’ve even seen some projects they’ve started around the pool as well. They’re really updating the place. The upgraded apartments are really nice for the price, especially when other places charge more for the same quality. In a couple months I think the place will be unrecognizable in the best way. I haven’t had any problems since they took over. I think the apartments are really worth living at.

I resent this property for selling some type of rent payment throughBilt, the first page tricks you into applying for a MasterCard, dinging your credit report. I dont want a new cc that pays the property for new clients. I want to have a simple way to pay my rent online, without some gimmick they are always trying to sell for these companies. Cant wait till my lease is up

Easily the fastest move-in process we’ve ever experienced. We had to move quick from 5 hours away and Natasha was very understanding and got all our paperwork situated (on a Friday) before her vacation! She along with the maintenance staff are quick and efficient with all requests. We even had to change our move in date to a week prior and they fixed everything with no issues at all. The apartments are well kept and up to date. If you’re looking for an apartment in Weatherford, these are a great option!

The property manager jennifer is totally awesome. One of the nicest people I have met since moving to this area. She is vey helpful. The property and apartments are clean and quiet! The units are great value for the price. I would recommend this complex

I’ve lived here for almost a year now. Since I have moved here there have been constant drug busts and I have had drunk people laying outside my front door. The manager D’nay has been nothing but rude to my guests as well as residents. Not only has she been disrespectful, she has not been organized. She lost my pet deposit and claimed I didn’t pay it. There’s a huge roach problem in all the apartments. They claim to spray, but only stay in your apartment for five minutes and leave. They only have three guest parking spots for over half of these apartments. If you do not park in these spots they will tow you. I’m very disappointed in these apartments and lack of concern from management.

DNay was incredibly helpful in finding me the right apartment and making the leasing process as easy as possible. The apartments and grounds are clean and well maintained. Its also been a nice, quiet community where I feel safe. There have been bad reviews in the past, but I think the new management is doing a great job of making this a happy place to call home. :)

Niki and D’Nay are both very professional and fun to be around. They helped me and my family move fast. The neighborhood and neighbors are very nice. Everyone speaks and welcomes you. They have tons of fun activities through the year which I love attending. Holly Oaks has been my favorite place to live. Thanks to the staff for creating and maintaining a stable, clean, safe, and fun environment!

Weve lived at Holly oaks apt. twice now and they are by far the best apartments weve lived in. When we were having a tough time, the manager really worked with us and made an incredibly stressful situation a lot easier. The community is great, we love it.

Echoing some of the other reviews - front office staff beyond rude, they are downright unprofessional and ugly - they could care less about tenants. Dont live here if you cant take hot conditions - three months into the lease, 12 maintenance requests later - still no air conditioning. Apartment never gets below 85. There are still things on the move-list that have yet to be fixed (leaky shower). Stay away from this place.

We have lived here going on a year and a half now and ever since moving in it’s gone down hill! There is no parking most nights we have to park on the street or in the neighborhood behind us. No one cares to clean up after their animals so don’t let your kids play in the grass. We were hoping with it having new owners some changes would be made but nothing has happened. Whenever we call we don’t get an answer or they’re out of the office which now I think Is a lie. How can you be out of the office every single day. We are in the process of trying to move out and they WILL NOT answer the new landlord. This is absolutely ridiculous. You’ll have better luck moving somewhere else. The amount you pay in rent is not worth it at all.

We lived here for 4+ years and honestly these are the worst structurally built apartments in the area. We could hear our upstairs neighbor pee even when we were in the bed room. If youre in the wrong location, you will have sun hit your front door making your whole unit hot. There are constant sounds of the highway. There is also very little ventilation or air flow since there isnt a back door/balcony. Each unit is VERY overpriced. We had the same parking sticker for over a year yet still got towed a few months ago bc the sticker was in the wrong spot, even though the office never specified where it had to be. The office never answers the phone & is almost always gone 15-30 minutes before theyre supposed to close. They also charged us a cleaning fee upon move out even though we cleaned baseboards, the fridge, everything. Maintenance guys are nice & the only pro of this place, but I recommend putting in the request online bc if you tell the office it wont get done. Overall very poor living area & I recommenced any other property in Weatherford over Holly Oaks.Update: Once the towing company realized that we did in fact have a sticker, they told us there wouldn’t be a charge but we had to come pick it up. I said no, since the mistake was 100% their fault (or Holly Oaks managements fault for not communicating to their residents that the sticker had to be placed in a certain spot w/ this new company) that they should bring my car back. Took about 30 minutes to get this approved & she kept saying her manager wasn’t available for a week, she didn’t have the actual towing peoples numbers, etc. Once they did bring our car back, one of the maintenance guys saw us & came over to ask what happened. So the office WAS aware of this situation & we never got a call from management asking about our side, or even just an apology. If Holly Oaks kept up good relations w/ the towing company like they claim, we would’ve gotten a call to make the situation right, when it happened 4 months ago.

They got the pool fixed and the landlady is super cool. Easily the best landlord weve ever had.

I have never written a review in my life. But, I have to. I need people to know to stay as far away from this place as they can, if at all possible. If i could give lower than 1 star, I would. Ive lived here for 3.5 years, paying anywhere from $780-$930/month for a two bedroom apartment. Parking is awful. Ownership has changed a time or two since Ive been here. I was hoping that with the new owners, the staff would be a little friendlier. Didnt happen. Had a friend stay over on Saturday night. I had them put the visitor pass that the office gave me on their dash. Their car gets towed anyway. $293 and two hours of my time later, Im thinking, itll be okay. Theyll refund my money since this is obviously a mistake. I go into the office this morning and basically get yelled at by the staff about how she wasnt the one who gave me the visitor pass and that its my fault that I didnt use my psychic powers to realize that the pass that they gave me, that didnt have an expiration date on it, had expired. Extremely rude and unprofessional. These apartments are extremely overpriced. The only reason Im still here is because I havent been in a position to own a home and didnt wanna move from apartment to apartment. This is my last lease with them. This isnt hyperbole, Id almost rather be homeless than live here. Its awful. Stay away if you have any other choice.

I will say the cleanliness is a lot better than other apartments in this area, but that’s about the only thing these apartments have going for them. A few reviews above mention roaches but we don’t and haven’t ever had roaches or any bugs in our apartment. That is likely cleanliness of the particular resident or their neighbors. The parking rules change so often you can’t keep up with what the rules are or what stickers to use. I’ve almost broke my arkle falling into a hole outside my front door on the way to my car 3 times now in the past 2 months and have asked several times for them to come fix the hole that was dug by landscapers for a sprinkler head and it has yet to be fixed. The landscaping company came last week and dug it even bigger, then left it unattended. I have to remind my child every time she plays outside not to run into it so she doesn’t get hurt. If you want quiet, it is not the place for you. The trash truck comes at least 1 day a week at 5am, sometimes 4am. Imagine waking up to that banging! Our microwave broke a few months into our lease and they did come fix it in a timely manner, BUT they replaced it with a DIRTY microwave! When I opened the door there was food stuck to the top and sides of the microwave. There is a black spot that keeps coming up beside our toilet and they just keep using caulk to cover it, yet it cracks and comes back within weeks. The biggest issue I have is with the parking! I’m not alone, there are MANY people in my building annoyed with it and when I asked about a new handicap sign in front of my apartment I basically got told it wasn’t my business and the office staff was so rude to me I ended up hanging up because I wasn’t going to be talked to like that. We pay for a service and I expect to have good customer service. We’ve all not had issues with parking until recently when people have visitors and we get told to call the tow company and they’ll come tow them, yet the tow company never shows up. I’ve only lived here for 6 months, my boyfriend has lived here for 4 years, and we will not be renewing our lease because we’re tired of the issues and what few have been addressed have been half assed.

I just picked up some food from an individual, the walk says are spacious on the bottom and top floor, I seen plants outside so you can put plants out in front of your apartment, they are very nice apartments. Si just check them out for your self, and see what you think.

This place is awful do not move here. The manager D’nay is extremely rude and unprofessional. There is hardly any visitor parking and the residents have to park in the visitor parking cause there’s not enough spots for everyone. Which means you can’t have friends or family over because there’s no place to park and they’ll get towed. Motorcycles park on the side walk which means you have to walk through the muddy ground to get to your apartment. Also the management is very unorganized, claiming we never paid our $500 pet deposit when we already did and are trying to make us pay it again. There is also a roach problem also and the management isn’t making it a priority to get it taken care of. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

We had a showing for noon. Then they cant show us the one we want to look at. The one they did show us had the strong smell of fumes from I dont know what. Its been half an hour and were about to take our son to the er since he hasnt stopped coughing. Idk what motivates some one to show a room that has that many fumes and know about it to a possible tennant. And $1000+ for a 2bd, 1bth @gmail.com than a 800sqft seems a bit high

Staff is amazing and the property is well taken care of and maintained. The manager and office ladies are such sweethearts. So happy we decided to move here. Definitely family and pet friendly. ❤

Was having a hard time after having open heart surgery at my old apartments. When I went in to talk to them Shelbi and Dnay bent over backwards to Get me into an apartment. I could not ask to have been treated with more kindness and respect. Thank you for all the extra yall did tip help me

Would not recommend staff is rude they will change the locks on your apartment before you lease is up they would not come fix the ac when it went out that day so we had to go stay somewhere else. We still got a electric bill when we have not even been there they will go turn on the ac with out you knowing and change the locks so you can get in and it’s to expensive!

I called on 06/11/2020Talked to someone about leasing an apartment and I was told that they are NOT even leasing anymore because of corporate buyout, and they have nothing available even if they were leasing. If your no longer leasing at ALL, then you need to take your website down!

Office staff are very friendly. Property is clean. Quiet neighborhood. Pet friendly. Love this place!

Used to love this place now you can’t have friends over without getting towed because there’s very little visitor parking the manager is very rude and hostile and lets motorcycles park on the side walk so you can’t walk on the side walk and harasses people with pets so don’t move here not a good place to live
