J & J Rentals

If I didn’t have to give a star to this company I wouldn’t. My family and I rented from j & j in the beginning of January 2020, as soon as we moved in the pandemic it and we got a little behind on rent but got caught back up with Texas neighborhood services. As soon as all our rent was paid j & j decided to hit us with 6 lease violations equaling out to another months rent and basically mocked us for getting some help with rent due to covid. These Violations that they gave us we didn’t commit. They claimed that we had another family living with us, when the house that we were renting was already to small for my family and I was pregnant at the same time too, they went off the basis that we had several vehicles in our yard that were all our vehicles. We never had another family living with us. They said we were parting all the time, which again was not true being as I was super pregnant. At the end of all of this we finally moved out and we are currently trying to get another place but they keep lying to every place we have been applying to just to keep us from getting another home of our own.Do not rent from here because they will lie and make things up!

Friendly staff. Usually try to fit your needs with available locations within a timely and reasonable manner. Reasonable prices. Cat friendly. Just wish they would make repairs a priority

I’ve been in this J&J Rental property for a year and my air conditioning went out yesterday. I called J&J and left my message, hung up just knowing since it was Labor Day that it might be 3 days before anything could be done. But Ten minutes later Jose knocked on the door to save me from the 100degree day. I am very happy recommending J&J Rental.A1Job!

BEWARE!!!!! I went to visit my sister and brother in law who rented a house from j&j for about a year and had to move due to HORRIBLE bed bugs. The neighbors confirmed that previous owners also had issues with bed bugs. The rental company has known about the issue, as the previous owners and neighbors had let them know. They have an 8 year old, a 2 year old and a 4 month old. I went to help them move and got bit and horribly infected and had to go to the emergency room (I will be attaching a photo of my arm where I can). Then after my sister let them know not only did they not offer to remedy the issue, but they locked them out of the house with belongings of theirs inside after they refused to pay the last months rent.

Been with them 3 years..... Office staff is very nice, maintenance is awesome and very friendly and owner is a very nice man. Love j and j .... Would definitely recommend them!!!
