Barcelona Custom Homes

I rarely write reviews, but had to jump on here and strongly recommend Barcelona Custom Homes to anyone in the market for a builder. We actually found our home after it was completed, however fell in love with it. Our Home Inspector told us that it was one of the better homes that he has seen recently, and someone with extreme OCD was involved in our build. Tad has been readily available after the sell to answer any silly questions we have had, and even spent a couple hours after closing going over all the nuances of a new build and its workings. Lastly, we are preparing for a major freeze this week and we have never operated on a well before, and I was floored when Tad stopped by personally (two months after closing) to give us some tips on how to protect our well from freezing and save us some headaches. Who does that? So pleased with Barcelona Custom Homes, and although we most likely have our forever home, we would highly recommend to our Friends and Family.

Tad and team were wonderful to work with and built a well thought-out, high quality home that we absolutely love! They were even better than expected with us, based on past experiences elsewhere, throughout the process.

Called realtor to get status of our new home build thats been pending construction for months at Sunset Ridge, Cresson site. The realtor then proceeds only to tell us that there is no home going to be built because their builder decided hes unable or doesnt want to build that house. 0 construction has been or will be complete even though were under contract. Worst of all Barcelona didnt even call to tell us we dont have a home being built.The only option we have been given is to change back to a smaller home we originally chose but ended up changing contract with all parties in agreement to the bigger home more suitable a growing family. I deliver our first baby in one week & Ive been stuck in hospital for the last month as high risk so this is far from okay for Barcelona to drop the ball ~4 months out from construction completion. My husband & I will be seeking legal aid if Barcelona doesnt shape up their customer service.
