Bell Mobile Homes

Ken was great in sales. Setup was late and a disaster. If the home had been set up on schedule months earlier the weather would not have been an issue. It has been one year since my wife gave them a list. They have still not came to complete the punch list or fix the paint. Setup was a nightmare paint doesn’t match the colors picked. We viewed the house on a cloudy day originally. When the sun came out after delivery the house was tan not grey. I will have to fix every issue myself. So much for purchasing a new home.

We bought a home in April of 2024. It was set and placed on our property the end of July 2024. It still isn’t level, the front door leaks around the frame, the shims and a/c has failed inspection twice, and we still have other things that we have asked to be fixed and it hasn’t been. We regret buying this house everyday.

Ken Shipley has helped us so much throughout our process! We were there less than 40 minutes the first time we went, and walked out with our house having a deposit!We should get it delivered within the next week and a half! He’s been such a great help! We purchased a brand new home through bell in April of this year, 2023, and regret it almost daily. If this were a used home, some of our issues could be understood better. We have continuously asked for things to be fixed, and we’re still waiting. The house is still not level. A living room window is not level, extremely crooked. Two guys came out from the factory to fix it, and made it worse I believe. We’ve asked for the back door to be fixed/replaced multiple times. It was once, but the issue still remains. The door does not shut properly and you can see daylight all around it. All materials used to construct the house are the cheapest produced and poorly made. The carpet is so thin that you can feel the plywood underneath it in some spots. The flooring that looks like wood, which we thought was linoleum, is actually very thin paper. This paper rips and tears easily when moving in or just living everyday life. We called on September 7, 2023 to inform them of the refrigerator that came with the house, and was supposed to be brand new, was going out. We were told by bell to contact the refrigerator company. Not feeling like it was our place, we did, only to find out this refrigerator was manufactured in 11/2021 and is no longer under warranty. But yet we were charged the full price for it during the purchase of the home. We contacted bell again, the same day, about the issue and we were told they would get back to us. Here it is October 3, 2023 and we still have not heard anything. I thought our first home purchase was going to be so much better than this. We fully regret ever doing business with bell. I will be sure to pass our troubles along to anybody and discourage them from making the same mistake as we did.

As first time home buyers the thought of the entire process of buying a home was overwhelming at first, but then we met Ken Shipley at bell mobile homes who made the process pretty much stress free. Ken was extremely attentive throughout the entire process. We had a few hiccups with things being on back order but Ken made sure we were informed every step of the way.

The service is fantastic at Bell Mobile Homes. Ken Shipley was attentive, and knowledgeable. He worked with me every step of the way from purchase to set up. I had shopped at three other mobile home dealerships in the Lubbock area, but Bell Mobile Homes in Levelland, Texas beat their prices, and inventory by far! I bought my home from Bell, and I love it! Billy Joe, Doug, and the rest of the crew there delivered and set up my home with care, and efficiency. I definitely recommend you check out this dealership when youre shopping for your own home sweet home.

The contractors from Legacy just left. Salvador Pestana and Alfredo Castellano did an outstanding job! They gave me their word that they do professional work. There were lines on my ceiling where the tape and texture joins the boards. Now, you cant see the lines. They fixed my front door because I couldnt get it to lock. Salvador talked to Legacy and told them I need a whole new shower and some new floor tiles because the work was not done correctly prior to. I sure hope these two are the ones to come back to finish the rest of the work. I had to wait a long time to get this done. Mr. Kenneth Shipley made a few phone calls and now I am seeing big results. Thank you!

As a first time home buyer the process was a little scary at first, but after we found bell mobile homes and Ken shipley we were relatively stress free! From sales to delivery,setup and repair. This family business is for the family! If you want to let freedom ring choose Bell mobile homes!

Ken Shiply was amazing! We live in Canyon/Amarillo area and from the beginning of our journey Ken walked us through the entire process of using our trade in to get us into a beautiful home. His crew did a fabulous job as well. I will definitely tell others to use Bell Mobile Homes in Levelland TX.

I would never recommend this dealership or legacy homes to anybody They didnt level or block home right then came and put the skirting on when we werent home and put vinyl when then told and sold us hard siding. Told us if we hired someone to clean it they would pay them 60 never did so came put of are pocket. Never put siding on side seams. Said they would come back in 60 days after house settle never did. My 2nd bathroom is plumb backwards. Now my house is almost 7 yrs old and has cracked more. Just had to pay another company to re level house. But my 1994 Palm Harbor home is better built. Got it from Odessa

Ken Shipley is an amazing person and our experience at Bell could not have been better. Great service and a knowledgeable agent made our whole experience pleasurable. Ken went above and beyond and if you do business with him you are in the best of hands.

Really helpful and friendly when you first purchase a home with them but afterwards it steadily gets worse. If I could have given them a zero stars I would. Had to pay someone relevel my home. After they say they will with their so called garuntee. Thats a load of bull! It took almost 2 years to even get them to come fix the back door. Never came back to inspect the plumbing or lines like state code required. They tell you to let them know what to come fix and they will in the first year but its a lie. They put you off over and over till they say your warranty is out. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to them . The bathtub in both bathrooms cracked out in less than 2 years. The so called new stove went out in 3 years. I could go on and on.

DO NOT BUY from here. My husband and I were willing to put down 11,000 and they wouldnt even budge on their end to meet us with a reasonable monthly payment. We had already put down a deposit of 1,500 and when we went to get our deposit back Landon was rude and just handed us the check like he was annoyed with us so we left. Mustang homes in Lubbock is the way to go! Ask for Sandy!

They have decently good customer service when u first start dealing with them. But beware if u buy. They tell u to give them a punch list when u find out everything thats wrong. But sadly then clowns pull up and do a quick fix that doesnt actually fix nething. Weve personally heard the workers say well we only make so and so an hr. So the quickly and cheaply throw everything together. Forget small problems like trim and stuff weve had big problems such as leaks from showers behind walls and they send someone to supposedly fix it. Its not. And they wont get it refixed right! And they told us personally once the house settled they had to and always did for everyone come and resettle it. They have never came back and where our double wide connects is way off level. So our house in 2 separate directions is going down. They end up being very unprofessional. We r supposed to pay over $100,000 and they cant even make my house level when we paid to put it on concrete. Be careful some of their words r true others rnt. They will leave u hanging and never show back up to make sure it lasts.

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the worst place to buy from if I could give them negative starts I would! I would raise my family on the streets before ever buying from this place. I wish I knew what a joke this place was before purchasing my home. They will charge you out of the world interest rates then turn around and charge you fee after fee. Also they will lie to you about the fee as well. They like to make up their own “laws” and rules.

Please do not purchase a home from these people!! They do not care about anything but themselves!! Sold us a used home with appliances that do not work!! Had a floor guy do the floors who didnt know what he was doing!! I beg you dont buy here!!! Pay more and go with a good company!!

It’s a good place to get a manufactured home. We did have some miscommunication with them, but they did a good job. I would recommend Bell Mobile Homes.

Ken and his staff are great very helpful people. Ken did everything in his power to make sure we got a place that would fit our budget and did it very fast. Great experience

A Business Does not Exist in a Location for Nearly 40yrs for Nothing,Good Family Oriented Atmosphere.Great People with a Wealth of Knowledge in the Industry,Very Professional Sales and Service Staff.One of Few Dealers Left that Handle Everything in House with there Own Equipment and Staff.As a Small Business Owner Myself this tells me that they Care about What they Do.

I would not recommend bought a house and its falling down never fix nothing they said they where going g to do half way patch a few things and want you to pay for there junk I would be a shame to sell these homes
