Veranda Village

This place is a slum , there are more squatters than actual renters in this complex. Theres Meth heads everywhere, they advertise laundry on site . None of the machines work on either side , the central a/c never worked in my apartment and I was never provided with a unit when I bought my own the maintenance tried to take one of my units saying they only provide one to each apartment. There are rats and roaches and their pipes are messed up so theres always sewage backing up in to the parking lots and into peoples apartments. In the one year I lived there theres was 9 different managers who were all aggressive and rude as well as the rest of the office staff . I told them what theyre doing is illegal they told me to pack my stuff cuz they arent going to allow me to stay there any more that they will refuse rent and evict me because I demand decent living conditions to be provided. I had sewage back up in my apartment and black mold started to form because they refused to send maintenance to fix the issue .A Martinez will illegally tow your vehicle they are also very rude if you call to register your vehicle to park the grass is always over grown ,there are tons of strays that always tear the trash up . Maintenance will steal your stuff dont ever let them in your home when youre not home . The mailboxes get broken in to constantly and there is no security the gates dont work and have slots missing for people to just slip in and out of . Everything is boarded up and the pools are green and were never opened when I was there . The play ground meant for children has broken meth pipes and razor blades mixed in with the wood chips . This place is a dangerous unsafe place to live and extremely over priced

No people! just no as mentioned previously know your rights moving in here keep track of every interaction..their 5 star reviews are bogus its fake accounts office staff makes you can tell by how many reviews that person has given...for example 1 review and it was to give this dump a five star review ..please do yourself justice gathering information from previous tenants or news articles before letting these people terrorize your family and life! I am not the type to complain but This is horrible place to live unless you love roaches, human feces on the ground from the fake maintenance men who don’t care at all if your apartment is fixed, thin walls you can hear literally everything and rude leasing agents , if you want something fixed plan on waiting 2 weeks or more just for them to touch it up and not fix anything! Washers and dryers do not work you have to go across the street. The first month I moved In my toilet ,stove were not working, there was a period of 2 months and no units had hot water, they move anyone in who breathes air, there have been crack heads knocking on my door. Please just get your money right and get a decent apartment this is not it.

I have a friend here that has had the worst service ever and I have no idea how they get away with this as I am in property management myself. From all the horror stories of this place do not give these people your money! There is no maintenance or they dont know what they are doing because he was out of ac (not ok in Texas!) Plus many other issues. They refuse to fix anything that breaks and lets face it things break but thats why you have a management office with maintenance! They do not have anywhere for your guest to park for starters so dont have friends and family visit because they will get towed. They have even heartlessly towed my friend that lives there because THEY didnt provide him with a sticker. The last straw is that there was a fire and if the residents dont have to deal with enough they are forcing them to move into a vacant unit or have a broken lease. This is unacceptable and they do not care what others are going through. They are greedy and uncaring. If you want to be taken care of and have a safe, maintained apartment where you are appreciated for being a loyal resident this is not the place to live. For you Veranda, get it together, you have a job because of your residents they are how you make your living. The roof over their head gives you yours. Do not forget that.

Ive waited a long time to write this review! First it was a quite place with good neighbors. The issue is that they DO NOT take care of the property. I called the 3-4 day I lived there that there were mice falling out of the rafters outside the apartment on the balcony and that I had seen some in my apartment. They were still there when I moved 6 months later. They did come throw something behind the stove and icebox. The 2nd major issue I had was that we originally moved into a 3/2 and asked in December to move to a 1/1 due to not needing so much space and not wanting to pay 1345 again in Jan. The manager at the time was like okay so here is the deal I am busy....HOT WATER went down for 2 weeks. But I wont make you pay until you move. That went on all of Jan and most of Feb. Well new manager steps in and is having none of it. So we make a payment arrangement and paid when we said we would and how much. Not even 1 week later I get a text that if I dont pay the entire amount they will tow my car. I go to the office and was told to pay 300 and it would be okay, yeah the website didnt take that option. needless to day the management is the issue with this place and do not care about any agreement you have with them or that you are cohabitating with mice and roaches.

Do NOT move here. Roaches, unsafe, rude and incompetent office personnel. Hot water has been out over a week, apartment was not ready on day of lease starting…7 days after the start of lease I was able to move in. Sewer water coming up through bathroom floor. Apartment was filthy upon move in. Please do not move here.

Management was great until Rebecca came in to take over. Shes very rude all she cares about is money anything else your screwed. Warning ⚠️ she will turn of your lights and say she didnt do anything but she did called centerpoint and cops on her to confirm. She will stall after getting cops involved to turn on lights. Horrible experience these are the worst apartments I ever been in. EVERYTHING breaks and management doesnt do anything about it. Building across already caught on fire. If you plug anything in your outlet sparks come out. Do yourself a favor and dont come here.

Do you think about moving here? My advice DONT DO IT. The a/c doesnt work, the pipes and drainage dont work, the hot water runs out frequently, the heater always smells like your house has burned, it takes months to repair something small. I am grateful that my contract is up. They have changed administration many times and one is worse than the other. I have been waiting for almost 2 months for a hole inside the bathroom wall to be repaired, there is always mold and spills, flee before signing a contractThey tried to kidnap a child, so its dangerous. The police always have to come because there are many problems, the pools dont work normally

Tenants if they cut your lights which is illegal doesnt matter what they say you owe evem if you do owe..thats illegal go to justice of peace request a writ of restoration it dont cost nothing judge will see u right away and order them served to turn it back on if they dont go back tell thejudge... ya they get pissy but its illegal know your rights...most people dont thats why they do that

Worst place to live, giagant rats, mold,maintnance does fix anything, ive had a leak for 2 months since i reported it and now the walls have mold and black water on the restroom and it smells like sewage

My Father lives here and I just want to say these are the worst apartments i have ever been to. First, the managers are rude and dont know how to talk or help. Second They Have rats and when you tell them nothing is done. They have problems with wiring which causes fires. Dont move here Find better

I was here in the 2021 fire and moved out right before the second fire in 2023. these people are so bad at their jobs, they illegally shut off your power when youre late on rent, never fix the AC units when its triple digits outside. rat, roach and mold filled and they have no regard for anyones safety and take no responsibility ever. i have been taking legal action against the management and i suggest others do the same.

Bad apartments to live in they dont fix anything but they do want their rent they revoke ur parking sticker without u knowing about it until ur car gets towed and u find out when u get ready to go out and they dont clean up the apartment before they rent it out and they lie about ur payment to rent with them and they dont even exterminate the Apt before u move in and while ur living in the Apt so there also not good to live in because the security doesnt even be around for anything and people dogs are always lose without an owner around and on no leash.

Okay good morning people so I gave my $250 deposit for administration I was promised one apartment got showing one example then didnt let me see my second apartment came to pick up my keys and got shown a third apartment was told apartment 709 was infested with roaches and bugs and much more they do fumigated twice so thats why they didnt give me that apartment nor the less I just lost out on 250 these apartments are nothing what they look like on pictures.Carlos or Hector whatever his name is is so non helpful and its slow moving the manager is no help whatsoever instead of worrying about her eyelashes and makeup she needs to worry about her tenants.

The worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. I moved in with A/C NOT working. Once they “fixed” the A/C (4 months later) they took back the window unit, only for A/C to be controlled by them the whole time. You’re only able to turn off and on, no control over temperature. I’ve put a bunch of maintenance request, asked them to turn on a/c, they don’t respond. Only for when they want their rent money. I’ve had an officer come by and tell me it’s an unlivable condition and that I shouldn’t have to pay rent and to complain to the city. Maintenance came to remove piece of sheet rock from BEHIND the mirror in the bathroom. NEVER told me for what and why. A/c (behind filter) has started to grow mold, I’ve notified in June and still NOTHING has been done. I personally gone to speak with manager about ALL issues, always promises and NEVER does anything. Roach and mice infestation. Had to clean out my pantry due to mice and heat messing up food. Please save your money.

My fellow Pasadena friends don’t move to this apartment complex! I’ve been here as a visitor since 2016-2018 I’ve seen people wandering around the parking lot multiple times like wolves, the exterior of the buildings look the same since a old friend from my high school said that a fire took place there a few years ago I wish they do a full remodel , they tow away people’s vehicles between 9:30 PM all the way til whatever time the sun rises up, and lastly they charge their residents every year to rent on their own apartmentMy advice: don’t intent to move here go to Gemini gardens apartment complex in South Houston thier management is 10x better than Veranda village thank me later I just saved you guys time and money

My son and I were out looking for an apartment since he is looking to rent. Being that he’s a first time renter, I went with him to help. I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the staff at this property. Angie was very helpful and knowledgeable. The grounds were clean and beautiful and definitely felt safe. We went to other properties in the same area and I was so impressed with the customer service here that I was compelled to leave a review. Very well deserved. Keep up the good work!

I have been living here with my sister for about 2 years, and since the new management took over, this has been a better and more professional place. Adriana is the new manager and she is extremely helpful! She got all my maintenance issues taken care of and this became a comfortable home for my family!

Took them months to clean up the burnt complex, trash gets laid out everywhere, lots and lots of people that dont live here terrorizing the tenants. Ask the management to fix the leak that is making our ceiling get holes and pour out more water, no one comes. Infested with roaches. One of the worse places I lived at. 0 stars is what it really deserves. And when you talk to the people in the office they are more focused on their phones or talking to each other and spend their sweet time doing anything. A health inspector needs to check this place out because this place would shut down if I was a health inspector. The people living here shouldnt have to live in these conditions.

This is my second year living here and I been dealing with rain constantly coming into my apartment and they still haven’t came and fixed on my ceiling and I been calling everyday and I feel like they giving me the round around and I never been late on my rent every since I been here and I feel like I me and my family shouldn’t be going through this everyday dealing with my hallway flooding out everyday I just feel it’s not fair to the rest of the tenants that’s living here

The maintenance in 1907 is it supposed to be a Christian but teaches his kids to be mean to other people and dont say nothing its wrong that he does this instead of teaching his kids right you teach his kids alone and then when you confront him he acts like youre the problem in the whole time theyre in your window and around your house talking about you even his wife no matter how a person look you have to have respect you got to give respect no matter what you cant just go messing with people because because its very very wrong and if youre a Christian you should know God sees everything you do

This place has been inhabitable for years. Yesterday’s fire was not the first. A poor 6 year old little girl (may she rest in peace) was also robbed of her life at these apartments just this past March. The apartments are in bad condition. They’re heavily outdated. They don’t even have sprinklers! It’s dangerous to live here. Not to mention ownership is trash. Fix the problem or shut it all down!

Do not move here!!! Every other day there is no hot water they turn it off without notice sometimes for days! Maintenance doesn’t do anything besides sit in the office and talk even when you put in a work order it will never get fixed. There is a group of homeless people that have literally set up a camp in the parking lot next to the dumpster and sleep there and use the restroom while there are kids outside playing. Cars getting broken into every single week. Trash everywhere, gates don’t work, roaches galore!!! When I toured they lied and told me I was getting an upgraded apartment when I moved in it was just a regular apartment but the cabinets were just painted grey one coat! Literally paint was chipping off already. Don’t try to pay your rent online bc it will take a month to come out of your account and then they will try to charge an NSF. I can’t wait to move!!!

Id give them a 0 star if it would let me. The entire time there which was 13 months I had nothing but problems. From roaches to rats or mice. Never attempting to help solve any issue. No hot water for 19 days which at the end of the lease one month remaining they violated and I moved out. They submitted me to collections claiming o owe them $6100+ dollars. They are crooks liars and unprofessional. I would recommend a tent City over this place. Its probably cleaner tbh.

These apartments dont even deserve half a star but i couldnt type a review with out putting a star! Never do i rate anything that isnt worth rating but these apartments are the absolute worst. So i had to express my opinion! My aunt hasnt even lived there a year and has had so many problems. She has had to get AC window units because the air conditioning goes out. My aunt has called several times to the office and they never answer the phone. She has to literally go to the office and talk to someone in person to tell her the problem, then which is never resolved! Maintenance goes once and if for some reason can not do the job they leave and never return to fix anything! It is sad that these apartments are owned by a fancy company but cant even employ decent workers do a job!

Lived there for 2 years and we never missed a bill or were disruptive, but our move out process was so difficult. New management was rude and made every effort to make moving out harder for us than it already was in a QAURANTINE. Took 2.5 months to have A/C fixed in 80+ weather + a month to fix a valve in dishwasher. Jennifer M was best person in office EVER. Personally helped with any issue we had until new management came and she was gone. STOP SWITCHING MANAGEMENT EVERY TWO MONTHS.

What happened to Mgr Danni shes no longer around this new guy is never in the office? Im making my payments every week just like I would when Danni was there to catch up. Ive also been waiting on a air filter since April I guess I have to buy my own now.I am so very thankful for the patience and compassion the Manager Danni has toward my recent setback. My partner recently passed away and I was behind on payment but she took the time to listen and assist me. Because of her I feel that I can continue at Veranda with a sense of belonging. Thank you

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! The apartments do whatever they can to make you view a nice apartment but then give you yours all wrong . They never come to fix work orders the apartment next to you will be infested with mice ones downstairs have bed bugs and your have fleas . Once you get rid of one infestation problem it’ll be another . The office lady’s are ugly inside and out especially Rachel she does nothing and messes around with the maintenance men inside the room by the office they will also write you violations on anything and everything even if it’s a lie the second you start complaint on things .

I have been living here for over a year and I am satisfied with my apartment. The maintenance team completes my work orders in timely manner. The office ladies are always glad to help.

I moved in April 2018. After only being in my new apartment for a week, the sewer backs up into my master bedroom closet. I called and left a message for the emergency maintenance but did not receive a call back nor did anyone show up to wet vac my closet. I had horrible smell in my home for over 24 hours. I called again the next morning and maintenance did make it out. However, the sewer keeps backing up into my closet at least once a week. I have been dealing with this for over 6 months. I have been told repeatedly that the problem has been taken care of but only to find & smell sewer in my closet. Also I have cracks going through my walls due to the foundation. I literally have a sink hole outside my living room window. (Has been 3 months and counting). The lower cabinets are so warped I can’t put anything underneath because it falls over. The cabinets are deteriorating. The resourcing of the countertops are horrible. My bath tub was resourced but feels like it was textured and the painted by hand. CAN NOT TAKE A BATH. I reported a leak in my ceiling above my tub. It is not leaking anymore however I have mildew/mold growing all over my ceiling where the leak was. And don’t try to go to the office after you get off work because they will be gone. It says they are open 9-6 Mon-Friday 10-5 Saturday and closed Sunday. But they are gone before 4:45 pm a lot. JUST ASK ALOT OF QUESTIONS AND SEE THE ACTUAL UNIT BEFORE YOU MOVE IN ANYWHERE!!!!! Here if you pay an additional deposit due to your credit YOU WILL NOT GET THE MOVE-IN SPECIAL!!!! Just beware!!!!!

Paid my rent early, have always paid early, the portal that they use still havent posted it, 3 weeks after I paid. Theres mold in walls, wood rotting away, mice, roaches. Theres tons of wrong and not enough right. Maintenance does not respond, I had to do my own pest control, lost food because of the rodents. Stray animals everywhere. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!Upd

This place is a rip off, after being told I would receive my deposit back if I decided to back out before signing a lease was not a problem by Crystal, I decided to back out after seeing a few unsafe things going on while I walked the property, they lied and told me I couldn’t get it back without a reason why I asked the property manager why and she said “I don’t have to give you a reason I’m the property manager” her exact words she also said “we lost money for holding your apt” when I never decided on a unit and how did they lose money when they gave me about 10 available units to look at. If this is how they treat there residents and handle business then I would not recommend anybody to live here I would definitely not consider moving there anymore myself. Place looks run down totally different from pictures and while I was walking the property to see some of there available units ,there were people outside smoking weed walking around like it’s an everyday thing for them to do, then while I was getting in my car to leave because I had already seen enough to know this is NOT where I want to live, I seen some people shouting cursing and arguing next second cops show up smh to much negative illegal activities going on and its NOT safe kid friendly at all. I will be making a complaint to the BBB for sure.

Ive had a bug issue since I moved in. They sprayed 4 times and no result. So I bought my own stuff and behold it started working. They BS you about everything. The pools never open. The yards are always trashy. Theres no form of security no matter what they say when you first sign up. Im constantly calling the office to fix stuff and they just dont care to fix. When they do its half ass job. Electric gates dont work. Its all around a big lie. Everything They advertise is a lie. Cars have been stolen, kids have been abducted, me and my family will be out of here this month. All with in 5 months of living here.

Really couldnt believe that they smiled and laughed as my daughters walk in the office and then go about telling them that they dont have a apartment. To show. After my daughter called them that morning and ask and they said yes. After the fact that my daughter called 2 days in a row making sure that they did. Lived here while back and this place shouldnt even be allowed to rent. Their electric cercuits are old and not up to grade. Everything you plug will power off on breakers.

Went with plumbing not working 10 days now . Have been to office on numerous occasions. The bathtub and toilet worked for 1 day supposedly after city fixedpipe then bathtup afilled up again with dirty water kithens sink both stopped up waiting to see if they will fix tomorrow 2/5/ 2019. . Shower when I moved in not working properly was not fixed from August when I moved in till two weeks ago now no water pressure for bath but shower works . Have had issues with bug bites was told was probably fleas and zi dont have pets. I pay for a one room efficency but cant take shower or do dishes without sink filling up .

Its been getting better. Bad things is office staff changes alot. And we are without hot water quite a bit due to construction. And there is a roach problem and mouse problem. But new owners did,just take over so,we will see how it goes. Im happy so far other than that,

Dont stay here. They dont fix your stuff I have lived here for over a year and thought the new management would be great which he can be but there is people in his office and maintenance that needs to go the office manager is terrible she is completely rude, and dont make her mad she will retaliate against you. They want you to pay all your rent but dont compensate for nothing that isnt working, even after they mess up your valuables. You dont even get a dishwasher here. I will never stay here again.

Can the owner of this property please give me a call I moved out 8/31/19! Left the place cleaned out. I been waiting for my security deposit which I should have gotten in 30 days! It’s now November 19th and every time I call it’s the owner SO CAN THE OWNER PLEASE CALL ME ? I respect its a religious holiday for y’all ( that’s what I was just told after Leslie had left me on hold for over 10 mins never coming back to the phone) but waiting 2 weeks from now we will be in December and the Christmas holiday will be the next excuse! The new manager has came in and made some good changes. She is people friendly and has excellent customer service skills. And I’ve noticed that what ever problem that you may have she tries her very best to have it taken care of ASAP.

I hate that it has no parking for residents that pay rent there. People living in a 1 bdrm apartment and got 4 vehicles to a 1 brdm, how is that even possible. No resident should have to park in the gate if you live on the outside of the gate. My car get broken into because i i cant park in my door, all holy hell will break lose. Its not fair to residents that gets off work late. Yall gotta do better than what is happening now or yall gonna forever get a bad review

Since the moment I walked in the staff made me feel like home. All my maintenance requests have been done in a timely manner and the outside crew is amazing! I would recommend everyone and anyone to live here.

They stole my deposit money$250. I was going to lease an apartment and ended up not leasing. The office manager was so rude that when I was talking to her she turned her back to me and continued to work on her computer. Not a person who should be working with people. FYI make sure you are ready to hassle the whole time you rent from Veranda Village.

This property is nice and quiet with good maintenance, I’ve had no problems while living here. Shakyraw makes it even better when I was apartment hunting she made the process so fast and easy and me being a first time renter she explained things so well with the BEST manners ! Most definitely come see Shakyraw if you’re looking for a new home !

My mom lives here , they stold car parts from her. The ofice never does nothing to fix stuff they change managment and rent when up like really fist up grade the apartment complex not only outside but inside the apartments if ya want to charge people more rent . i dont understant ther so ugly they got big rats and roches at least ya could spray once a month like it says in the contract but they dont thats how they want to save money cheap ass people how do you expect your residence to be happy if ya cant even fix one thing .

After the covid-19 Angie barajas has been helpful to work with me thru my rent situations and most of all kind at doing it this is what you call family. I was late on rent and Angie barajas whose the property manager works like a queen and will work with you to stay at the home you admire. She loves her tenants and will will go out her way to make sure you are okay. Thats real manager love

Delivered food to people who live here. If you couldnt tell these apartments are not very nice. One and only time I will ever come here. A lot of welfare and poverty vibes.

Use this place only as a last resort! They recently put a fixed schedule on the laundry room which is beyond fu**ed up. If youre working day shift, better go wash your clothes at the expensive laundromat, because this one is closed. Ridiculous. If youre paying rent on time, should be able to wash your clothes whenever you godd**n please.

I live in these apartments now. We have a new management company that handles problems in a timely manner. They had a crew handling the landscape on the outside, whrn a rock was accidentally took out my drivers side window. I went to the office, and told them what happened. The manager got in contact with the workers abd repaired ny window with no charge. I was happy that the management team and crew were respectful and honest. This was a situation thar most places would not resolve this in an amicable way. You have tenants that just had their apartment burned down, cant live in their apartment but yet your still charging them rent? Rent is for the next month.. why would they pay when THEY CANT LIVE THERE!!Care about your Tenants... not the money.

Very nice clean community! The new assistant manager Darlene was very helpful answering all my questions regarding the property and informing me of all the new updates they have recently made, as well as the property manager Jazmine who was very friendly and welcoming!

Worst place ever, do not moved here. Apartments are infested with bugs and roaches, no visitors parking, the laundry is nasty, and homeless people sleep there.

I would give a zero if I could I lived here a year ago and my roof leaked I repeatedly made work orders to have it fixed and it finally fell in and flooded my apartment and ruined all my stuff in closet I informed management they were in their and saw the damage black mold was hanging from the roof and the ceiling was black . I waited three weeks and still nothing fixed . I took videos and numerous work orders and trips to the office and I finally had to move out from mold and mildew smell so strong and wet floors . I’m in the process of filing civil on them .. beware of these apartments..

1st thing to do when looking for a place to call home is read the reviews these apartments are not livable I dont see how there still even open the review rate is low they dont fix anything but still want your rent I wouldnt advise anyone to rent from this apartment

This is a real person ,if I could give this place no stars I would they said I was approved and then said It’s still processing, they will not give me my deposit back that i paid 250 dollarsthey keep telling me to come back wait be patient it’s been 2 weeks like i am really frustrated they are no help at all will not give me corporate number they said I can not have it ,DO NOT MOVE HERE also this lady that stays here told me she hasn’t had ac in along time and now she does not have ac she told me not to move here that put the icing on the cake for me not to continue trying with them.they are so rude julie’s and the other people there !!!

Staff is very nice new manager Jasmine is very very helpful. Communication is great. If I had any problems they were resolved in a quick manner. Highly recommend now.

Best apartments a great place to call home” Its quiet and comfortable. The people are good. The location is centralized which helps my family and I a lot. Management is phenomenal especially the head manager she always so polite and very professional.

I understand they are trying to get people in for the money but its not ok to lie to them. #1 The security gate has never worked, and because of that my car has had things taking out from. #2 parking lot is always full of men drinking and doing mechanic work with very loud music no respect.#3 to many cats and dogs around a little girl got chased by a very big dog not to mension the park is full of unsuperviced kids and because of that they did have a few cases of missing kids very sad.#4 the hot water is almost cut off at least 3 times per month very upsetting. #5 when i call in a work order i expect for it to be taking care of in a few days and by that i mean 1 or 2 not 2 aweeks latter.#6 The pool is always closed never do they open it for the residence #7 roches and rats you will have that dont relay on them spraying the appartment ther chemicals dont work i bouth my own and work great some people do have bug problems in there building am so glad i leave on the other side.#8 the workers have keys to apparments so when your not home they will all agree on going in and taking your stuff. Happend to my neighbors i even saw the guy coming out i though he had a work order and since its not my apparment i didnt say anyithing.#9 we have a couple sex offenders living here in case if you have children.#10 the rent used to be cheaper they whent up i dont know why they havent upgraded so ther forthe price is ridicules at least fix them from the inside not only the out side everithing in the apparments it old tub, carpet,toilet,stove,celling falling off, i recomend some remodeling if they wont to charge more.

02/27/2018We have lived here for more than half a year , i believed in what we say You get what you pay for .....BUT i pay at least for me to have a private cozy home , were i can use my bathtub, restroom and sinks that I PAY RENT FOR , ever since this so called NEW MANAGEMENT it has been a very veryyyyyyyy bad experience ....Office girls dnt know anything and they blame it on IM NEW okai well transfer that dammm call to ur suppose MANAGER thats NEVER there . Im personally so disappointed of this outcome and I WILL NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE WITH THE NEW MANAGEMENT AND STAFFINGI have lived here for a year now , office ladies are awesome , work orders are taken down fast , NO BUGS or ROACHES if you are clean , Here you get what you pay for , dont request a fancy place to live if you wanna go CHEAP ! do not act like an ass and they wont be an ass back , simple as that , now rent going up ....no issue thats EVERYWHERE !Not a bad place to live at :) WAS A FIVE STAR

This place is really bad surprise its still open lot of homeless and empty apartments they have no maintenance it is called homeless village where all the homeless come to stay

It is so difficult to get a hold of someone in the office to talk to. You leave messages, but dont get a call back. Ill go to the office at 5:30, they close at 6pm, they will have the door locked and turn off the lights as you are knocking on the door.

The management team here is very great, anytime I have reached out I received the assistance I needed. And I cant complain about my neighbors either I would recommand my and friends to move here (:

Well do not I repeat do not go for the all bills paid its a catch. Your home will cut off due to lack of the old school breakers they cut off so much we cant cook and have ac or tv running all at the same time the breaker will cut off everything from living room to bedroom very disappointed 😡😡😡

Never hot water sewer always running over cats are out of control

Here we are again with no hot water. We had it for not even a full day. And now not hot water again. And they wont even let us know anything. We pay our rent on time too.

Tho veranda village is not top of the help it does have its pluss. Neighbors who interact with each other, laugh with each other, deal with life with each other. We are all basically in the same boat and we try to look out for one another. Nice! Mark #105

Moved here in October of last year it was fine at first then came the roaches and mice the apartment was kept clean when ever something went wrong they came fix it and it broke again not to mention the constant sewage smell that comes from the busted pipes also the prices are outrageous my car got towed at 3 am in the morning because I wasn’t informed of the new “parking policy” 300 bucks would not recommend

I have had issues with my refrigerator for a while now supposedly they have fixed it twice.. well it finally stopped working.. so went to the leasing office to talk to manager and she said she would have it replaced the same day.. that was monday.. soooo they never came.. i had to throw away my food since it spoiled.. i dont like giving negative reviews.. but something has to be done.. ive had to be eating out since i cant keep food in the refrigerator.. i hope the owner read this review.. i cant wait til my lease is done.. p.s... my bathroom mirror fell off the wall.. found it broken on floor.. its been a month and a half and still no new mirror...

So #2051 has no AC or hater and they dont fix anything round here I have to keep on going down there to the office and complain to them to fix stuff a around here and then they want me to stay and pay over a $1000 every month for rent no AC or hater at this apartment #2051.

They literally wont answer the phone for tenants so if youre unable to go into the office dont expect help with anything and on top of that the apartments are trash not worth 900 a month for 1 room

Just moved in my apartment and I LOVE IT! office staff is so nice and and welcoming, and the Manager Jazmine is very professional answered all my questions and concerns i had.

This place is horrible they say all bills paid but control the air-conditioning and the heating which means in summer no ac they turn the heat on and in winter they turn on the AC plus they always have sewer back up on the property they always have issues with the water heaters which means plan on going days with out hot water it is infeasted with roaches the crime is unbelievable to point they attacked the pizza lady for her car

The ac does not work and its up in the triple digits ppl could die of heat stroke this should be illegal somebody should really report this place I reported them to the health department and I wrote the mayor

I lived in apt 520 one morning picking my wife up from work got home noticed a gun laying on the ground the gun belonged to apt 517 I called the cops took about 30 mins to respond so I watched the gun till cops showed up it was a weekday so kids were getting on bus walking right by it so I did my part I also made a complaint to the office spoke to management they said it would be taken care of later that day they came to my apartment saying it was my gun these apartments are crap then managment had told apt 517 i called the cops so they started harrasing my wife and I you will find crime 0 stars you will also have guest tons of roaches

The women in the office are so pleasant and really care about the residents. Been here for almost two years and this is the best it’s wver been.

Soon has i got into the apartment roaches and rat just started scattering out and took a long time for maintenance to always come but now im finally moving and my new place is awesome😁👋

This place is a disgrace to people always clogged sinks bathroom carpet aint worth nothing and it is so badly big rats infested maintenance is terrible maintenance is always on phone not doing there job cleaning lady hides in wash room always on phone Im glad I am not raising kids here they dont want to except housing anymore so in a way Im glad Im moving from here big rats crawling down the walls and making holes around vents coming down the walls

My step-son lives here, they are raising the rent here, but me personally wouldnt rent here since its an Old azz Apartment complex and the newer ones has alot more to offer at the same price.

I also really want to leave my opinion on these apartments if they changed owners and Maniger, the manager has nothing to do with it, she is very good but the Security they put in seems to be the owner of the apartments and also inside the apartments are full of rats and cockroaches and made a mess according to what they are fixing outside because what they are fixing are the vehicle parking spaces since the Residents were not allowed free parking, you have to pay per vehicle. In addition to that, you cannot be on your balcony if you want to go out for a drink. cup of coffee you cant is a crime and the Security comes almost to hit you and sends you inside as if you were not paying rent he treats you like any other person it is the worst it really sucks I would have left here by now but they tell you that you cannot break the contract because there is I have to pay $2000, there is no time to leave here. It really sucks, I dont recommend it.

They are excellent workers, they changed owners, new work team both in the office and in the make ready, they are acceptable, full remuneration for the apartments, good price and safety above all for the residents.

I am a resident of the Veranda Village. I give my own opinion. There is a new staff, Mrs. Iya. She is the new manager, a woman with a very nice heart. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I now like the best administration we have here in the apartments and I feel better and safe living here.

These apartments are of no use, first of all the manager behaves like a child, bothering him, he doesnt do anything wrong, but they let all the lazy people live there for free, you need to change the manager, we have big rats, all the drains are clogged, they dont clean anything outside, the residents have to clean themselves We speak to the city and we do not have to make any changes

Dont move here, there are a lot of street people living in the apartments and the office doesnt care. Most of my neighbors left for safety, even though they had a contract. The office doesnt care, the sad thing is that there are old people living there and they are afraid because there are many street people walking and living in this place. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF SIGNING A CONTRACT WITH THEM.

I dont recommend them at all. They are already charging for all the very expensive services. When we came to live here they gave us a very opaque and filthy folder and they dont want me bald. They promise you things perl chanson you nêtes à live now youre screwed. and there are rats, cockroaches, assorti and mosquitoes outside the apartment.

Horrible apartment with cockroach infestation and no air conditioning, lack of maintenance, I broke my contract for 6 months without air conditioning, old carpets, dont leave your money there, they let the grass grow and many homelees move into the apartments

I dont recommend the apartments in West Point Village because not everything that glitters is gold, they make your portraits very pretty and you come and see them and yes they look pretty but underneath all the beauty it doesnt last a year with everything It breaks down uyyyyyyyyyy and how long it takes to fix it and if they just fix it on top of it its a disaster but I have to put up with it because I have a contract for a year or so I have my bedroom in the ceiling that is leaking water Ive been in for a month and still havent I havent been able to fix my roof and it is ALSO full of cockroaches and fleas. The bathrooms dont have airflow and there is a lot of scum from the water vapor. Its a total disaster. I already reported it to the city of Pasadena and to date they havent done anything. Thats why. I dared to put it here on the West Point Village page so that everyone who comes looking for apartments here knows that if they rent here and something goes wrong, wait at least 3 months for them to come and do something.😠😠😠😠 😠👊👊👊👊👊👊 according to what they were going to fix the gates to make it more private and they havent done anything, they steal a lot from the cars aaa but to collect the rent, oh, they are really cool at collecting and they raise the rent a lot

Terrible place, there are units in very poor condition, they do not provide the maintenance that is due, and you cannot have visitors until late as the tow trucks arrive and take away or they are looking for which car to take.

I live here and theres no way theyre going to rent here, much less where the air is paid for. They control them and they often break down. Ive had mine for about 2 months and it hasnt failed and theyre damned.
