Crenshaw Grand

I dont know who wrote the last two reviews, but they are so fake. I moved here 3 years ago and management and all office staff was great. This new management is so unprofessional, and very disrespectful. They do not answer call or emails, since the hurricane on 7/8/24, no one sent an email as courtesy to the residents to at least ask if every one was ok and the whole apartment complex its still very dirty from debris the hurricane left. Concrete has not been washed and it all looks terrible. The gate has been broken for two months now and they still have not fixed it. It is great area and the apartments are nice. I just wish we had the old crew back.

This property had great customer service when I was touring. The team was very informative and kind . When my move in date comes sooner I’ll definitely apply here!

I was driving by the dog park and saw two office ladies cleaning what I think is the dog washing stations. I believed one of them was the manager. Even though I don’t have a dog, I really appreciated the staff always being on top of the everything making sure our complex is in tip top shape.

The management here is great. They are very kind and efficient. To also mention the environment here is amazing, has great amenities, and nice floor plans. I highly recommend!

The customer service here is impeccable! Calls are always answered promptly and work orders are always taken care of expeditiously. The manager is also very accommodating and always eager to help! Would 100% recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a new home!

Crenshaw Grand has had a makeover with new management and the office staff. Its been such a great change and the office is super friendly and nice when you need something. Yessi has been a blessing and really cares about the residents. She helped me personally with renewing my lease and without her I would have moved, I was actually expecting to move out! I was expecting a hassle or issues renewing my lease just weeks before, but she went above and beyond to help me! I am thankful that she really cares about the residents! Thank you!

I toured Crenshaw Apartments and everyone was so helpful. The community and amenities are also very nice, can’t wait to move in!

Customer service is very poor they, MANAGEMENT will avoid you at all cost, security is nonexistent and car break ins are happening way to often myself included. They do not warn or inform you and provide no help to your case, they will force an extension on you if give a notice even 1 day late we have lived here for a year now and not by choice. Maintenance seems to only be effective if you catch the guy in person the manager is not at all compliant and has no interest in working with you everyone here is only looking for $$$ and will do what they can to get it. the prices on units have gone up the apartments are extremely small and have nothing new or special there are MUCH better options I would not sign any lease agreement with Crenshaw Grand.

My fiance and I have lived here for 9 months. Its been largely a positive experience. Maintenance is very fast with getting things fixed. Really appreciate that. Since moving in however there has been a gun shot incident outside our apartment and an incident last week where a man followed me up to my apartment, tried getting in, and then pulled the fire alarm. None of that is managements fault, although maybe locking the gate door would be helpful (the man was not a resident). I do wish they could cut down on the lawn care. There are hardly any leaves on the property, yet I get woken up to leaf blowers that go nonstop for over 4 hours every Thursday. Ive watched them try to wrangle maybe 30 individual leaves against the wind for over half an hour. Its a useless battle and the noise is really bothersome. Were also in a drought, so mowing/weed eating is not truly necessary. Just seems excessive. As a resident the leaves are not bothersome, but the leaf blower sure is. Overall a pretty decent place to live.

My husband and I, had been looking for a nice place to rent, due to his job relocating him to this area. Wed looked for a while and found a few places we liked, but there was always one thing or another, one of us, stated we wish we could change, rather it was the size of a room, the location of the property itself (verses whats offered in the community), to the staff and how they treated future residents as well as there current residents. We were very happy to see that not only did they treat the possible future residents with the utmost respect and was ready to answer each and every question, to the best of their knowledge, and if they didnt have the answer right then, they fulfilled their promise, by getting the information and following up with a phone call and thee answer, to the question posed to them. They were just as helpful to the current residents!! Their customer service skills are second to none! They have an awesome staff there, who knows their jobs very well and are eager to assist you, when you come in. Needless to say, this is definitely where my husband and I decided to rent, and we look forward to becoming residents there. The whole experience was delightful. The floor plans are great! Thee amenities, are awesome! We were completely satisfied here and look forward to residing here in the next few weeks!! A huge thanks to you all in the leasing office! YOU ROCK!! The two staff members we had the pleasure of working with were, Chelsea and Jazz, they were awesome!!

I’ve been living here for a year now and I’m renewing my lease because my experience here has been great!! It’s quiet and safe which is a huge plus for me since I live alone. Everyone is so friendly and the office staff is always welcome to help. I can see myself living here for quite awhile!

Been living here for 6 months no problems thank god

I lived here for this past year and it was great. Nice and quiet, very friendly office staff (shout out to Jas)! Every single time I go into the office they are working hard helping the members of the Crenshaw Grand community. They are not snakes when you move out either - they don’t nickel and dime you for everything upon move out unlike some other apartment companies. The pool is beautiful and well maintained, the gym is small but accommodating, and the people that live at Crenshaw grand are very nice neighbors. Would recommend to anyone needing a place in Pasadena!

Clean apartments and great customer service, front office is kind and informative!

Me and my family lived here for a year and we absolutely loved living here. We never had one single issue with noise, neighbors or maintenance. The property is well kept at all times. The staff was absolutely the best of the best. Every time I pulled up they would always would meet me with my packages half way. The only reason we moved was to be closer to my wife’s work and a home we are building. I would move back there in a heart beat if I needed a place to stay.

Crenshaw Grand has been a great place to live so far (7 months). The staff are really wonderful, friendly, hardworking people and they work with you to get you what you need. Maintenance is stellar, they are quick to fix anything, and they do it very well. There is a lovely pond out back which offers great views of wildlife. The patio space is nice, and I like to grow lots of native Texas plants to attract wildlife to my patio. The granite countertops and counterspace was a huge selling point for me. Appliances work fine. The apartments also offer storage space for a monthly fee (Im not sure what that is). Crenshaw Grand is also fairly close to the Armand Bayou Nature Center, and that was another selling point. H.E.B. grocery store is right around the corner, and Barnes and Nobles is just across the street. Over all, Crenshaw Grand is pretty quiet (though I live on the third floor).The negatives arent so bad either. There are definitely a few neighbors who unfortunately think american muscle is cool, so you can expect to hear lots of loud motors early in the morning and at night. Furthermore, the military and other people with planes/helicopters are constantly flying very low right over the buildings. Rent is definitely pricey, as all things are right now. The rent payment portal (now through Bilt) charges a $10 fee for paying rent, and thats a huge letdown for me, as we already pay a million other fees in addition to our rent (non-optional trash valet, RUBS, pest control etc). You can expect to pay about $100 more than the rent you sign for. I think my biggest complaint is that the neighbors arent the friendliest- not to say anyone is mean, but people really keep to themselves.Overall, I highly recommend Crenshaw Grand and I will be staying here for another 12 month lease cycle.

I just moved out, my lease was 10 months long & I had to come write a review to just say that it was a great experience for me & my family! Never had any issues, the ladies in the front were all very nice & maintenance was quick & professional. Lawn service every week, the complex is always looking good. Also love the location, It’s right off the beltway, and all the shopping stores are around & HEB & Walmart are close by too. Great place over all, if only they had 3 bedrooms as an option & a playground, but if you don’t need that then I totally recommend this complex!

Lived here for a year. The ladies in the office have been 9/10 helpful with everything we needed. Initially when we first moved in the community was quiet, clean. The maintenance men are very friendly and work fast. They work hard to keep the community clean. Only bad thing is some residents dont pick up their dog poop, they litter, smoke buds everywhere. We lived in building 8 and constantly got the smell of weed from other residents. Also had to put up with loud music in the late hours. Free internet and cable is offered, but save yourself the trouble and just get your own service.

Ive read a couple of reviews about the office staff. Dont believe it. Both of the young ladies i dealt with were polite, intelligent, and down to earth. Their attire was always appropriate. They were helpful and all of my maintenance issues were handled quickly. Just didnt like the valet trash pickup outside the doors. I liked my neighbors, but im not interested in seeing their trash, ever. Nuff said.

This will be my second year at Crenshaw. Love how clean the property is always maintain, the ladies in the office are very attentive and helpful. Maintenance team is great. Thank you

Good afternoon!! I just wanted to write a quick review of my experience and enjoyment here at Crenshaw Grand. I have been here for going on 3 years next month and have nothing but an amazing experience and time here.. from my neighbors being friendly, to the office and maintenance staff very friendly and helpful and always being on top of any requests(which is very little) and getting it taken care of in a timely manner. They are always there to answer any questions and always keep a nice, clean complex. We have gatherings every so often in the office to where the community can get together and get to know one another. The pool is always fun and relaxing, and ALWAYS clean and kept up.. I would recommend living here to anyone who wants a nice, relaxing, friendly place to call home.

I want to start off with how pleased we are with Savanna, (Assistant Manager) we came in a couple weeks ago to look at a few layouts of the apartments, a couple days had went by we had not made a decision yet, Savanna had called to inform us that some other renters are interested in the same apartment we had looked at, so very thankful for that call, it kind of gave us a boost, we did not want to miss out on the perfect opportunity! The whole paperwork process and getting everything ready for us was very smooth! Now we are getting unpacked and getting all settled into our new home! This Friday will mark one week of being here and let me just say we absolutely love it here, very nice, clean environment! High ceilings, very bright and open concept, oh and that garden tub in the master bathroom! Definitely Crenshaw Grand 5 stars ⭐️

Living in these apartments has been nothing but great so far. We just renewed for what will be our second year here and upgraded to a two bedroom - the interiors are nice and built with quality. Granite and wood and a very modern style that always catches our friends eyes. I can honestly say Im proud to bring friends over. That and easy location? Its amazing.Of course there are flaws like any apartment - loud neighbors sometimes and not always does everyone clean after themselves, but that is anywhere.The leasing staff here is also awesome. Always willing to talk things through. One of the best staff makeups ive ever lived under.

I have to say this place is the most accurate on line pics i have ever seen. When we looked at the place is was sooo nice. The staff I dealt with had the answers to my questions right away. They gave all info i needed. Going through the approval process was easy. I went to lunch after filling paperwork out and was approved before I was done eating. The apartment looked fantastic. For me like staying some where that looks like a vacation spot. I was very satisfied with how everything was handled. The ladies that helped me was very professional and had great personalities. A++ in my book

Its four days before move-in time, and I honestly cannot wait to start living in my new home with my family here. So far all the staff have been nothing but excellent, apartments/community are outstanding. Shout-out to Mr. Lino , hes awesome. I look forward to being a long term resident here.

I am the ups driver assigned to Crenshaw grand and every time i walk into the office, Savanna and Jas are very friendly and professional. I have never heard a complaint from any of the residents. Beautiful property! If I didnt own a home I would move here 100%. Im glad to have Crenshaw on my route.

First of all I love the staff Lino and Simone are so helpful and very sweet!. The property is well maintained and the best part is that these are brand new! Im so in love with my kitchen! Sometimes they have events for the community so you can meet your neighbors. Which is so important! I havent been yet because since Ive moved in they havent had any. So far the community and the people Ive met are amazing! My only wish is that they had a community park or BBQ pit and a charging station or an outlet at the pool..lol..dreamsss...

I have to say, I was very pleased with my experience at Crenshaw grand. Their customer service is impeccable, I had the pleasure of communicating with Jas throughout the whole decision process and she was happy to answer all my questions. Their customer service is top notch, a whole lot better than some of the other apartments here in Pasadena, and the property is stunning. Looking forward to living here!

Last week my fiancé and I booked a tour, and immediately when entering him and I felt very welcomed. The front staff greeted us with very opened arms. We asked several questions regarding the process and complex, the young lady , Monse, answered all without hesitation. Him and I plan on moving in very soon, it looks very peaceful and not to mention CLEAN! :DDefinitely recommending this location to family and friends, thank you front staff!

I wish I would’ve never agreed with my roommate to live at this complex! The office staff are careless, unprofessional and sometimes rude. They dress like they’re going to the club, with really short and flowy dresses and that’s probably why they NEVER walk the property. There are so many patios that look a complete mess with trashy furniture, broken blinds, and trash. There are a lot of broken patio/balcony pillars that look like they are about to fall apart or have termites. Another thing, the gym always needs cleaning, the residents don’t re-rack the weights, the treadmills are always broken, the mirrors are always dirty, there’s always something wrong in there. And they take forever to get it fixed. Nowww a new issue has come up. The keypad to the gates are broken and we have to wait a long time for someone else with a clicker to or someone who is leaving to open the gates so we can go in!! If it’s not one thing, it’s another! I can not wait for this lease to be up! If I can follow the rules, why can’t other people. We pay way too much money in rent to be having all of these issues all of the time. Manager and staff really need to work harder in keeping this complex looking presentable instead of being in the office all day recording themselves dancing and taking selfies.

I have lived here for over a year and compared to other apartments in the Pasadena and Deer Park area that i have lived at in the past this is by far better than the rest. I love the layout of my apartment and enjoy all the new amenities. Neighbors keep to themselves and if there are any problems its nothing that isnt taken care of right away. Everyone in the office is nice and quick to help, and maintenance is quick to respond. The location is great, close to all the shopping on Fairmont. If i have to say anything I dont like, there is the military planes that do make a lot of noise morning and night so if you are a light sleeper that will be a problem for you. Also, if you live on the second or third floor be mindful that your footsteps can sound like a giant stomping around. I think my upstairs neighbor is trying to get her fitbit steps from morning til night, she never sits down and stomps everywhere. I also had to get use to hearing the water from my neighbors baths and toilets flushing, now its just background noise. We have renewed our lease because we really do like it here. Hope this helps

I like the granite in the kitchen/bathroom and the laminate wood floors. I wish they had put better insulation between the walls and floors because my neighbors upstairs wake me up every night/morning walking around. They have a nice pool and gym. There has been some criminal activity but thats what happens when you leave next to BW 8 and Pasadena. Some tenants here are ghetto/trashy-not something you can really control... I do like the location since its close to the freeways. Overall, I would lease here again but get something on the third floor so my sleep isnt disrupted. I like the staff here too-very nice.

This is the place to be if looking to live in the Pasadena area! They have a great facilities that are well maintained, along with attentive security. Quiet community of hardworking people. Savannah and Jasibe are always willing to assist and get the job done with a smile on their face. A Very Welcoming Place!!

We looked all around Pasadena for good apartments ran across these apartments and my goodness they are amazing. We love them so much. I never leave reviews but for these apartments I sure will. Thank y’all for the cleanliness and making us feel safe.

I would like to say the office staff here is great! I stopped by today and spoke with Monserrat, Jazz, and Savanah and they were very friendly and attentive! They answered all my questions about their property! I would definitely recommend this property!

Called to inquire about some pricing. Very rude and unprofessional. I have some friends that live here and have had several bad experiences with the girls in the office. But the apartments are nice so I thought I would give it a try anyway. Glad they showed me their true colors before I got locked into a year lease!!

The management team has helped me and my family tremendously! I can’t say enough about the 2 mangers of the complex! Plus it’s a very clean and safe complex! Definitely glad we made the choice to live here!

New Management is TRASH! They add additional fees just last minute just to take money from loyal residents. Then when you call the office to ask questions about why you’re being charged these extra fees last min you get the upmost sarcastic answers. Savanna assisted me this morning and was the rudest ever. Never had these problems with the last management. These don’t even deserve 1 star!

I was just a guest at this place. It was not available at the time of our moving so we have to move to the place next street, Hawthorne at Crenshaw and we regretted the move. This place is so nice I always wish I moved in there

Always coming in my house without leaving notice just had an incident today ,jas and some other lady think they can just go and knock on my wifes door to ask her to pay rent scare my son and speak to my wife like shes a kid I ask to speak to upper management and they give me chelseas number which works with them no answer was told to leave a voicemail been here a year and couple months and ive had it i hope i can find the right number so this problem can get adressed . And jas and other lady if yall see this please stop coming inside my apartment without a notice prior to entering my LIVING AREA PERSONAL SPACE.

Dont let the view fool you. The price of living here, you would assume the security would be nice to have. Nope, not the case. This place has a major issue with thiefs. Beware!

The best thing about this condo is the administration that helps you with your problems quickly. Good area to live without children, with children it is more complicated because you feel the noises of the little ones and they bother you. But the office and the Manager are very professional!!!

I definitely recommend this place to live. Personally, I always look for a quiet place to rest and feel safe, here I found it thanks to Tristan who gave me information about what apartments they had available and what requirements I had to meet. My move was on the 18th and my expectations were all met, it feels like a home I want to live in for a long time!!
