They do a good job with basic services. This location seems understaffed many times, not enough tellers when it is busy. They do not offer high yield savings accounts.
This banking company is terrible! I have been with them for so many years and never had so many issues. Online banking was down last week, came back up and now all my account information is delayed and incorrect. I have now called 5 times, sent 4 messages to their supposed secure member assistance through my account and zero responses! Called again and advised there is restrictions to getting details now over the phone so I can’t even call and ask about my account issues. Zero explanation. I now have to try and take time out of my busy work schedule to go all the way to the damn branch for a full explanation in which I will also be closing my account due to the poor service and lack of response from any supervisors or member care in general. Save yourself the time wasted, anger and frustration and stay far away from this banking company! My daughter will be closing her account next as she is now having the same issues. Their responses on every issue posted here is to email them but I am proof they don’t respond to any damn emails which is why I had to post this review! Worst customer service ever!
Terrible! Horrible! Supposed to be manager on a Saturday morning! I was the only customer in the bank at the moment the two tellers was doing there best to help me with my problem! I hope she doesnt treat her employees that way!😳After the whatever title you want to give her saw that she needed to do a tad bit of work she(mgr) yells out whatever you all doing with that customer needs to stop & she can make an appointment when we have the appropriate time! Shes rude, inconsiderate, poor character, bad integrity and I can go on & on! I am pretty sure someone has seen this picture too. She acted as if I wasnt a customer! A sincere, caring manager saw the tellers having an issue & the proper thing to do would have been to ASK! what was wrong & address it properly! I havent been back there since! So ashamed to share with my community that I bank with a mean Halloween witch!
Daniel Garza is awesome, he was able to assist me with some financial needs and accommodate everything so I could accomplish everything I needed virtual. His communication was very good and his customer service was outstanding. If you need help with additional banking services Daniel is the guy to go to.
I have always had great service at the Lake Jackson branch but the Pasadena branch on Center street has horrible service. I have been visiting them for about a year, now, and it is terrible. I refinanced a loan with TDECU and did it at the Pasadena site. I had to explain the representative that handled this the same information over and over. She had a hard time understanding. In the end, I just gave up. Also, the credit score that they have on file is way, way behind. Several of the accounts they had on file had been paid off weeks before. I avoid this place as much as possible. One other thing...I changed my physical address a few years back and they still had my old address on file, despite me going to the branch to ask them to change it several times. Ive gone as far as to move my money elsewhere. Not all branches are like this but the Pasadena site is just terrible. Dont believe me...try them for yourself.

This was my first try at a bank as a person who swore by prepaid cards/check cashing businesses. Terrible experience. Stopped using my account in July because of continued issues with direct deposits, cashing checks, lack of customer service both in store and on the phone, etc. Brought myself to a $0 balance, removed my tdecu debit card from all of my autopay accounts and opened a new bank acct with a different bank (thank god). Received a statement in the mail this month with a balance, stating that I owed over $300 just in overdraft fees because they continued to accept payments on my account after I had already spoke to the branch manager to remove courtesy pay/overdraft protection twice. Once in march and once in June to ensure funds would not be withdrawn if not available. When I called customer service and tried to settle it, she said they would only credit me 2/10 overdraft fees of $32. SPARE YOURSELF AND GO TO ANOTHER BANK.
This branch is horrible they are no help at all I did a deposit last year on the atmIt show I deposit xxx amount later on showed it was less on my bank account I called the bank immediately they fix the issue then later on took out my MONEY without permission they made some adjustments. Also I’ve done a couple referrals for friends but the branch employee doesn’t help at all with the referral visa gift cards I try calling the branch and they give you the run around I also try calling customer service and they were no help at all good luck to anyone doing referral to any friend of yours
Repeatedly gave my mothers ex-husband full access to her funds as long as two years after their divorce. After many, many in-person requests that his access be revoked. After she was specifically reassured he would have no access to her money. She could be broke and homeless right now because of TDECU. Ive had my own very frustrating issues with them, including an attempt to trick me into a more predatory loan than the one I had originally applied for, but this is beyond unacceptable. Ill never bank with TDECU again, and Ill tell anyone who listens how awful they are. Disgusting service.
Horrible service. I had to call repeatedly to get a response about a loan I applied for. Opened a checking and savings and at that time very helpful and kind. Next day customer service went down the toilet. Now I know better and will share my experience with friends and family.
Worst bank I’ve ever had and been to.So slow and app is horrific.Was told my credit card interest rate would be 7% after promotional zero percent rate and ended up being double that at 14.99%Called customer service and they transfer me back and forth with no result cause they don’t know what they’re doing.Avoid getting an account with this bank
Terrible. The only fast and easy process was closing our accounts.
When it rains it pours????I applied for a loan 4 years ago, everything was fine... then mother nature hit us (huracane Harvey) my house flooded and so did my vehicles... I came back to the credit union and applied for a loan was approved, found a vehicle thats I wanted came back to the credit union and the manager said she didnt remember me being approved,,, she said, Ill approve you at a rediculus 19% , that was almost 4 times more that before.. I walked out of there to never in my life go to TDECU again....I had to get approved at the dealer for higher rate cause of my credit being checked more than once.. worst experience of my life when it comes to buying a vehicle.....
My worst experience ever going through any bank. The employees aren’t in sync with each other one employee doesn’t know one thing another employee doesn’t know the other. nobody there seems to know what their policy is. Taking advantage of my 80-year-old grandmother every chance they get

Bank elsewhere, people who work there are not knowledgeable on what theyre doing.They screw up and your the one who pays for their mistake.. Bunch of thieves...

I recently got a Fraud check, and they where really helpful, they help me as fast as they can to get it fix.
