The Kelly Lord Team at REMAX 5 STAR

I was very skeptical to work with a realtor because our last realtor was very unprofessional and didn’t care about what we wanted in a home….. During the week of the hurricane my wife and I needed to find a place to live so I reached out to Mrs Kelly and told her I would be arriving home Weds morning and I would like to find a home the following week. Mrs Kelly was on it. Her exact words were “Ok no problem I’ll get on it and send you some places plus I’ll reach out and see if anyone has anything available, we will find you the perfect home.” She never said to compromise, Mrs Kelly told us if we just like it then let’s keep looking till we find a home that we love. After explaining to Mrs Kelly that we had snakes she said challenge excepted and told us to not worry she will do her best to find us that perfect place. She said no compromise and no worries, we just have to look a little harder. So after only 1 week of looking Mrs Kelly found us the perfect home that offered us way more than we were asking for. Such as a sunroom, 3 floors, 2 full baths, close to the beach, 2 car garage, furnished appliances, and below our price. Plus they were ok with all our snakes and the new Leachie gecko. Our neighbors are amazing and the subdivision is very clean and beautiful. Mrs Kelly and her husband Mark went above and beyond for us. Mrs Kelly always communicated with us every step of the way. When she couldn’t answer the phone which was not very often she would either text or call back sometimes she would do both lol. Mrs Kelly even went over the contract with us, when we had questions about anything she did her best to help us comprehend it without over stepping her place as a realtor. Mrs Kelly told us to not rush through the lease agreement and to make sure we read every part and she even stayed in the phone with us while we read the contract to make sure that if we didn’t agree with something she would take a note so that she could speak to the other rep for the property so that we may have an answer. In conclusion we signed the lease and we thought our business relationship was over….. WRONG!!! Mrs Kelly called us to make sure we were still happy while moving in, reminded us to make sure that we filled out the paper noting any damages, asked us when we would be done moving for that day because she wanted to bring us a little closing gift and some pizza. When Mark her husband arrived to our new home with the beautiful gift basket, pizza and his cheerful smile I knew we were far more then just a paycheck we were part of the Kelly Team. Mrs Kelly and her husband Mark made us feel like we were buying a mansion and spending millions of dollars. Mrs Kelly made sure we knew we were top priority in her eyes. I know she had other clients and other houses to show, but she never tried to make us work on her schedule she just made adjustments and catered to our needs. She always answered the phone with such a cheerful warm voice and never got annoyed with us even when we called her during a funeral she was attending. Thank you Mrs Kelly we’re very happy with our new home. We appreciate you caring about us so much and treating us like an old friend.

I don’t have enough words to express how amazing Kelly and Mark are at their jobs! They helped us purchase a home in March, and then due to unforeseen circumstances we chose to sell it. They went well out of their way to help and support us as we went through this difficult time. We made some upgrades to the house over the course of a few months before putting it back on the market, including painting, and they showed up to help us paint AND brought donuts. :) We ended up selling / closing on the house this past week! They are extremely professional, competent, thorough, and SO fun to work with. If we ever buy a home again in the Houston area, we will definitely be working with them!

I cant say enough about Kelly & Mark. They were extremely helpful through the whole process. Kelly went above & beyond on helping me decide on the purchase of my home since I was coming from out of state. Mark was fantastic explaining the inspection results & meeting me so I could see the house an additional time. Im recommending them to anyone moving onto the island. Thank you guys so much!
