Excellent Service across the board in all aspects. A family friend, Mrs. W. Anderson recommended Valderrama A/C on a group text. At the time I didnt think anything of it until my AC went out about 2 weeks later. I called her brother, my friend, and set up an appointment. Juan, the service technician, came over the next day on time and performed a thorough diagnostic of my AC system, finding that I had a bad AC condenser unit that was leaking. He further investigated it to determine if my evaporator coil system was good/maintaining correct pressure by closing the system off and performing a leak test with nitrogen. The end result was that the pressure and coil were still good for my gas furnace. They didnt recommend replacing the gas furnace but recommended replacing the coil, plenum box, and filter for better efficiency. The owner, Jose Soto, spoke with me directly and wasnt pushy. However, because they were so thorough and werent just trying to just get my money, I had them install a new condenser unit and furnace. They recommended the high-effiency 14-SERE York Brand w/a 10-year warranty on both. And I must say I couldnt be more Happier. I recently had three companies come to inspect my 7-year-old AC unit, and they all agreed on the diagnosis that it was low on freon due to a leak. However, they couldnt agree on the source of the leak. Two of them suggested it was in the condenser coil, while the other pointed to the evaporator coil. One company recommended replacing the condenser coil, another suggested replacing the evaporator coil, and the third proposed replacing the entire unit, which would have cost me around between 7K-10KFortunately, I reached out to this company, and they promptly sent technicians the next day. After inspecting and conducting tests that the other technicians didnt perform, they located the leak:a small tube that was simply unsoldered. The repair only involved soldering it back and refilling the freon tank.I am extremely satisfied with their thoroughness and honesty. They saved me a significant amount of money by fixing the issue efficiently and accurately. Israel the technician was great.

They covered all furniture to ensure it did not get dirty and when they finished the gentlemen even vacuumed the entire staircase to ensure it was left in pristine condition. I have been with them for over 5 years and its always extremely high quality work. They have installed a new damper, evap coil, control board, and done condensor valve, valve core, and txv repairs for me in the past. If I had a leak they would be the first I would call. Israel is an honest working technician that I trust to always do the repair the right way.

They responded quickly. Changed my outside unit late on July 3rd and saved our July 4th plans. Honest pricing.

My landlord had them to come out and check the ac unit. It was recommended to replace the whole unit as it was really old. They came out and replace the unit the following week. One the day they came out to replace the unit, they were able to not only replace the unit but solve a condensate drain issue that I had pointed out that had condensate not going out the primary drain but to the secondary drain in the shower. They fixed it when they replaced the the blower section of the ac unit. Later that night, there was a loud whirling sound in the blower. I was worried it would take weeks before i could get them out here again and check on it. But thankfully when I called the next morning, they were able to send a second crew there to diagnose and fix the problem. Pros and cons listed before from this experience.Pros1. Very reponsive to calls and texts2. Easy to set appointments3. Able to come same day to fix an install issue.Cons:1. Communication with the first crew that came initially was not good. It was hard to communicate with them as the lead guy did not speak english very well. The second team that came out, I was able to speak with them easily. Communication is very important to me. This would be the only con I have with the experience.Thank you for your help

Julio, our technician came out today on a Saturday and found what was wrong with our AC system pretty quickly. While the previous AC company before tried to sell me a new AC unit, Julio actually found the problem and fixed it at an affordable price! Jose and his technicians are excellent technicians. They have a lot of experience in refrigeration. They found the leak in my walk-in cooler that was leaking Freon and repaired it which was hard to find and I give them 100%. I recommend them to any restaurant that has refrigeration issues.

After receiving a quote from a very reputable company, as I was in dire need of replacing my air conditioning unit, a good friend of mine referred Valderama AC. Upon contacting them, I came to learn that he was going to provide the same quality product and services with the same warranty at thousands of dollars less than what was quoted to me in my original quote from the other company. I had Valderrama A/C replace a 29 year old Lennox A/C system, overall I am really happy. New outside unit, furnace, and thermostat. After installation Mr. Soto came out and double checked everything, there was a few minor issues that needed to be address and they did come back the next day to address those issues even after payment which is good. Overall I would recommend them for a full A/C replacement

Great company! Nice and professional people! They installed the AC system for our vacation house in Galveston back in 2021 and passed all inspections! This time our apartment in Houston was in need of a new AC System and they were able to change it right away and adress any issues.

Jose Soto has taken care of both our commercial and residential HVAC systems for many years. He is honest and very hard working - a hands on business owner.He just went to my house (mid-August) on about 2 hours notice and repaired one of our A/C units. It’s an old one and I will be replacing it before long, but he was happy to repair this one and not hard sell me on a new one. I am so happy that I found Valderrama A/C & Refrigeration. I came home from work late in the evening to a hot house on a Friday...kind of a worst case scenario here in Houston! Luckily, I was able to get in contact with Valderrama A/C & Refrigeration and speak to a live person who promised to have a technician to my house in about 30 minutes. Not more than 2 hours after I became aware of my A/C issue was my A/C back up and running! Worried it was going to be a pretty big expense I was pleasantly surprised when I wasnt charged an exuberant amount due to the hour. I plan on using their services in the future, when you find something good you should stick to it.

Im super happy with the job they did.The price they quoted me for a 5 ton AC system install was cheaper than other companies quoted me for 3.5 ton and 4 ton installs.The new 5 ton outside condenser is huge but it is super quiet. Way quieter than the 16 year old 3.5 ton it replaced. And it cools my house way way better.Before with my old 3.5 ton system, my exhaust vents would struggle to get down to 75 degrees. Now with my new 5 ton the vents gets down to 58-60 degrees.Very happy I picked Valderamma AC.

Jose and Paul came out to fix our heating system when the cold weather started. They were prompt and courteous. They diagnosed the problem quickly and were able to obtain the needed parts within about an hour.They got our heating system up and running quickly and the cost was much cheaper than any of the other heating and A/C companies that I got price quotes from. We had our unit go out on a Saturday night, so got to calling repair services on a Sunday morning. A different company came out first and said we needed a full replacement for lots of money. Jose came out to talk with us Sunday afternoon and recommended to do some testing on Monday morning. The tests revealed a bad capacitor and it was a very reasonable cost to repair. My A/C went out over the weekend and I called Jose Soto owner of Valderrama A/C. He answered the phone and showed up an hour and a half later. He had to replace the A/C system and by the next day he installed the new equipment. I am so happy because I am still saving money on the electricity bill. It is very easy to do business with Jose. I recommend using Jose and Valderrama A/C.

Dont let their free estimate and polite staff fool you, they are dishonest and are out here trying to take advantage of others by price gouging. They tried to charge me $750 to unclog my drain line. Their rationale was they needed special tools and a truck to come out . When I told them I would consult with my father, they texted me back and said they would do the job for $600. I got 4 other quotes from other companies around Houston ranging from $125-$160. Please do not get ripped off by them, save your time and money and go with someone else.

They were on time! the installation went fast no problems. I was looking for a bigger unit and he told me its not necessary. so I went with his recommendation and saved money . everything is working great

He replaced my aged A/C Unit Condenser & Evaporator he was on time, placed drop cloths for protection, cleaned as they worked, explain the equipment and what was getting installed, he hauled away all the trash. Definitely very professional and respectful.

We had our downstairs unit replaced summer of 2017 and picked their top of the line unit and Jose convinced me to replace the upstairs unit as well even though it was working fine....what a big mistake. The downstairs unit works fairly well but the upstairs unit is a disaster. Till this date - it is not working properly. We tried adding a zone system which cost many thousands of dollars and told this would be the solution. We have had the carrier people themselves out here and nothing has improved. I have actually had to purchase a stand alone dehumidifier just to keep the humidity levels down. And again I did purchase the most expensive unit he was offering at that time. Jose kept telling me he had the same issues with his unit which did not make me feel any better. To their credit - they did try to fix the issue and he said he would take care of it - but finally he stopped returning my calls or emails. So I had to go to another company - AirTech of houston to come out and fix the problem. So my advice is to stay away and save yourself a headache!

Valderrama sent the Technician Israel to my place in the middle of the hot day, my air was not working, with his knowledge and labor he found the problem soon, ordered what was needed and left me with the air conditioner working in perfect conditions!

My Upstairs A/C unit went out, I was thinking I needed freon. I called Valderrama A/C & Refrigeration and Jose showed up within in a few hours. He checked and diagnosed that it was not the freon and that my unit needed to be replaced. He came back the next day at 9am and installed the new unit and was done before noon. The air conditioner they installed was installed incorrectly. Whatever they did the condensate was not draining into the drain line, it was leaking out of the back and leaked into the downstairs half bath damaging the ceiling and wall. They had to come out and correct their mistake but Im still waiting for them to address the damage they caused to the bathroom. Its been 3 months now and still waiting to hear back from them.
