My fiancé and I moved to Harbor Cove apartments two years ago, and its been an exceptional experience. Situated just a 5-minute walk from the Kings Harbor Waterfront Village, this community offers tranquility amidst natures beauty.Harbor Cove impresses with its well-maintained grounds and cleanliness, thanks to the diligent maintenance crew, including Santos, Salomon, and Lazaro. They promptly address any issues within 24 hours, providing peace of mind to residents like us. The convenience of valet trash pickup adds to the comfort. The pool area is a highlight, never too crowded and complemented by amenities like a gas grill, fire pit, and hammock—perfect for unwinding. The adjacent grass turf offers additional relaxation space.Though we dont have pets, the dog park is impressive, offering a secure area for furry friends to play and socialize. Cleanup stations around the complex add to the convenience. The front office staff, led by property manager Will, along with Jessica and Paige, excel in customer service, always ready to assist. The community amenities, including the game room and computer area, enhance the living experience.Harbor Cove goes beyond typical amenities with occasional food trucks, events like chili cook-offs and bingo nights, and raffle days by the pool in the summer, ensuring residents always have something to enjoy. The large mailroom with an Amazon Hub ensures secure package delivery, with convenient pickup options. And the on-site gym, equipped with modern equipment, adds to the convenience. In summary, Harbor Cove offers a serene, well-equipped living environment with easy access to dining options and grocery stores. Whether its your first apartment or a new beginning, I highly recommend Harbor Cove for a refreshing living experience.
I went to look at the 1 bedroom apartments. The location was nice and felt like its own neighborhood which I LOVED. Jessica the leasing agent was very welcoming and friendly. She made me feel comfortable right away. She was very thorough about matching my wants in an apartment to what they had available. She even gave me ideas about what to put in the apartment when I question what I would furnish certain areas with. She is very informative! I applied that night! Jessica is truly the one to talk to at the apartment complex. (She’s the only person I met while I was there). Truly amazing!
In counting my blessings today, I have to start with the guy working in the leasing office at Harbor Cove. A nasty weather day out it is -he came outside in this horrible weather to help a stranger he had no obligation to help. I had tripped, fell and dropped my car & apartment keys and had been searching for about 20 minutes for them. He found them in a few minutes and literally saved my day!! I had no 2nd $$ apartment key fob (I live across the street from Harbor Cove) & was home alone-no one to let me in. My phone wasnt working & I wouldnt have had access to my car had he not found my keys. Im so very thankful for Harbor Cove and its employee that saved my day!!
Moved here in Jan 2020/moving out Dec2024. They have changed management companies two or 3 times. Very subpar all around. Expect to lose internet or electricity once a week. No control over other tenants animals. Bout the only decent thing here is there is an HEB 2 miles away. Not worth $1300/mo dont get stuck here.
I live here currently with my fiance, we have been living here for the past year and 3 months. i feel we have been living here long enough to get a full feel for the good and the bad. i feel like there might be a disproportionate amount of bad reviews for these apartments. but at the same time, everybody experiences the same situations differently. applying to these apartments was very easy, smooth, and Jarvis personally helped my fiance and i with all the information we would need as this was our first time applying for housing. he was very generous in accommodating us with multiple tours, one time our paychecks had gotten messed up and he accommodated our rent being late by a week, etc. in terms of the maintenance men, the service is below average for sure. they are very nice and i would like to believe they offer what theyre able to for residents... but too many times have we had to request maintenance for the same issue over and over again before its resolved. alongside that, they often leave residue of dirt/black smudges from their shoes, or they leave their supplies behind. there have been times they have replaced a light for us, only for it to go out just weeks later after minimal usage. when we complained about permanent rust in our washer, they simply painted over it. the paint has since washed off and the rust is still present lol. i know they have a lot to deal with, but that is not the residents issue therefore we shouldnt be on the receiving end of where they are falling short because management understaffs with high volume of maintenance requests. the apartments, at least near building 5, are pleasantly quiet and peaceful. we have yet to experience a neighbor who is too loud, bangs on walls, etc. jarvis is kind and helpful, but i have heard horror stories in regards to other management. im not too fond of the fact that one leasing office employee who lives in the apartments asked me and my family to leave the pool on a saturday because it was past 10pm. i can understand the pool being closed at a certain time, but overall we had been quiet, undisturbing, and he approached us an hour and a half after the fact of us getting there. on a saturday. we are grown adults. otherwise, my fiance and i have thoroughly enjoyed our residency here thus far. i enjoy the things they do for the residents like the food trucks, pool parties, etc. i wish the grounds were kept up with more, i wish they sprayed more for insects in the buildings as my fiance has been experiencing non-poisonous spider bites. i wish there werent so many of the little things that come up with living here. but, like i said, everyone experience is what they make of it. living here is not bad by any means, but there definitely are too many of the little inconveniences to be able to label these apartments as luxury. at this point in their management and upkeep, the term luxury is a stretch.
Manager and other staff behaved very politely when I first went to their office to look for an apartment. After I signed the lease contract they have shown their real face. Extremely poor management. The Manager of this apartment is very rough and no politeness at all. You will understand this well when you will move out from this place. They will charge you for everything....It is important to have a nice place to live but it is also important to have nice people to deal with in your daily life.I am now very happy after moving to Kings Cove apartment. Very nice management and nice place. I am staying here since last 8 months and have no complaint.
I said yes to the address! After looking at many apartment complexes around the Kingwood area we found Harbor Cove to be a great fit for us. After viewing the apartments I loved how homey they felt, I worked with Amanda and she did a great job at helping me with any questions or concerns I had. The rest of the office staff and the maintenance crew are all very friendly and attentive as well. The apartments are very beautiful and the complex is nice and quiet. I enjoy the fact that we are right next to the woods so you get to sit on your porch and enjoy the birds. Another perk is being just a short walk or bike ride away from a lovely yogurt shop, nice restaurants and the water walkway.
My client and I needed a apartment in a hurry! We visited Harbor Cove and was met with a warm greeting from Amanda. We told Amanda our situation and Amanda worked with us for 3 hours until we secured the apartment for move in 2 days later. Sharon the apartment Manager and Terri the other staff members were also very helpful through out the 2 day process and I forgot to mention the complex is beautiful, quiet and safe! I want to thank the staff for a job well done.
I said yes to the ADDRESS because the location is perfectly placed between both of our families as we are newly weds. We are very excited to take advantage of the beautiful scenery around us, with the restaurants, the lake, and the nearby walking opportunities. Our apartment has everything we were looking for as far as space and floor plan, and we cant wait to relax on our balcony after a long days work. The management has been very helpful and kind, and we look forward to the upcoming events.
I said Yes to the Address because the staff is very friendly and helpful and the complex itself is quiet and well maintained. My apartment is private and very quiet the majority of the time. When it isnt quiet, it isnt all that loud either--- after all, there ARE neighbors below me! I have lived here a year and a half and have absolutely NO complaints. It has been a wonderful place to live! I highly recommend it!
We are just beyond happy we said YES to the address!!! Even with all our furniture in place, the floorplan is bigger, more open, and nicer than we ever imagined. There is so much light and a view of gorgeous trees from every window. The finishes (though not the most recently updated our community offers) are really nice, especially for the price. The community is beautiful and well maintained. We worked with Kelli mostly, who was so communicative and super easy to work with, but all of the staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful. The neighbors are all respectful and polite, its very quiet and peaceful here, plus were only minutes away from family. We really appreciate all the amenities offered here, and the resident social events are frequent and lovely! The overall location of the property within the surrounding community is so convenient to shopping and entertainment. We also love that we can take a 5min walk over to the lake and have dessert or a glass of wine on one of the restaurants patios, watch the sunset over the water, listen to a live band play, and see the children play happily in the greenspace. Living here is honestly an idyllic way of life for us. We absolutely LOVE it here!!! Literally, our biggest complaint is the subflooring beneath the carpet in all of the high-traffic areas is really squeaky and we worry about that disturbing our neighbor below us. We have to be extra cautious of our foot-falls, especially in the evening. And if thats our biggest concern, I think I can live with that!
I said yes to the address because the staff was really great and the apartments are wonderful. I needed an apartment asap and they were able to help me out. The staff is great and very nice. The community is always doing something. The other night they had bingo night and they have also served breakfast on Saturdays to residents. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Not off to a good start. Management, or lack thereof, pushed our move in date from Thursday to Monday due to the apartment not being painted yet. We had already paid movers to assist with our move, luckily we didnt get charged extra for the schedule change. Management still charged us for the three days even though it was their mistake. When we finally moved in, the washing machine didnt work. We put in a work order and, five days later, were still waiting for it to be fixed. I spoke with a representative in the leasing office and requested the manager to call me, which also still hasnt happened.
I give this apartment complex a 10 out of 10! The grounds are well kept, and the management of the property is excellent. The staff here has been wonderful since the beginning, and I will admit, Im a hard cretic when it comes to customer service! I enjoy the quite atmosphere, and admittedly, I have some very friendly and respectable neighbors. Thanks Harbor Cove for making my family feel comfortable.
All these fake reviews “I said yes to the address” they are all fake reviews because first of all no one says that yet alone 7+ people in the 5 star review section. In 2020 management here was rude, condescending, and out to get you. I went to pool that summer and there werent any people that day, so my friend (that had just arrived from Dallas) and I were pumped… the manager walked all the way from her office to the back of the pool to tell my friend that no guests were aloud if they werent part of the lease. I explained my friend had just landed from Dallas and that there werent any people at the pool anyways, she didnt respond she stood there waiting for us to leave. Im looking for a place to stay and looking at this apartment complex again triggered my comment. IF ITS THE SAME MANAGER FROM 2020 do not move in!!!
This place is great. I have lived here a year and I have no complaints. My maintenance issues have always been taken care of promptly. The grounds are nicely kept and my neighbors are friendly. They have activities to get to know your neighbors that are really fun. I have had no issues with management.
I SAID YES TO THE ADDRESS because I was looking for a place to call home and Harbor cove has done more than enough to make me feel nothing short of home! I am very proud to say that I have found a complex that is well kept, the staff is amazing helpful and efficient from the moment I called asking about their facility. If you are looking for a clean, updated, welcoming and friendly community, HARBOR COVE IS THE HOME FOR YOU!
I recently moved into these apartments and Im amazed... just amazed at how easy everything is for me here. Beautiful location and grounds, excellent floor plan, huge pool... I cant ask for anything more! But I got more. The staff (I have worked with Paige and Devin) are out of this world. Im so grateful that I moved in here. Im loving the livable forest!
I had a very bad experience at Harbor Cove Apartments. When I moved in, there was a foul odor that they tried to fix but it never went away for the 5 months I spent there. Then after I left, they still sent me a final bill for cleaning my apartment even though I already paid a non refundable security deposit of about $700. The staff was very rude when I went to the office and they didnt bother responding to my emails. A very bad management trying to screw people out of their money.
Im literally writing a review to give people are REAL account of the experience Ive had living here and to dissuade readers from following the horrible advice/reviews of the people below me. YES, this community was terribly damaged by Hurricane Harvey. YES, there is still construction going on to restore the community (show me a community that has been fully restored..... you cant). YES, Im sure the office staff doesnt want new potential residents to see the construction because...... WHY WOULD THEY NEED TO SEE IT???? When you go to see a new home in a new neighborhood, does the realtor say forget about the home you want to live in, lets go look at the other homes under construction??? Obviously the answer is NO. There are NO hidden fees here and their rates are very reasonable. The first floor units were gutted from the floor to the ceiling IMMEDIATELY after Harvey hit, and they were all promptly treated for mold. I literally just renewed my lease yesterday, I wouldnt do that if I was concerned about anything at all. Ive lived here for over two years now and I was here during Harvey. The way the office staff and maintenance crew handled the entire situation showed exactly how professional they are. Theyre doing their best to accelerate the process and they dont deserve the nonsense in the reviews below mine. I assure you those reviews do NOT represent the rest of us who live here. These people who wrote those reviews clearly were not here during Harvey and they should be ashamed of themselves for writing such negative reviews about this community. Theyre probably just emotional because they cant pay rent on time and have to deal with the consequences. Everyone here pulled together during Harvey and we all got through it and were still all in it together throughout the restoration process. Some people just cant be happy in life! If youre looking for a reasonably priced apartment in a beautiful area (it really is a beautiful area, big deal, theres construction going on right now, suck it up princess!), and you want a professional and courteous office staff, just come by and talk to them. Simple as that.02/02/19 update: To the person below who referred to me as Jake from State Farm (good one btw), NO I am not a maintenance man here on sight (its spelled site). I work in a completely different industry. And for anyone curious, there is no more construction going on here. Things are pretty much back to normal. People are just crybabies and want to complain about every little thing because they hate their lives and it makes them feel better about themselves. This is a great community, dont listen to the crybabies below.
I SAID YES TO THE ADDRESS because its a fantastic location and also the property is beautiful. Lots of trees and grass to make it feel like HOME. All of the staff have been nothing short of PHENOMENAL throughout all of my questions. They made me feel at home before I even moved in. Love it here!
I applied to rent an apartment, and paid the application fee that was $65. They gave me the date to move in as August 6th and I was planning on moving with a moving company then the apartment management called me to change the move in date to August 16th because they didn’t have the apartment ready even though they made it look like it was ready to move in. And since the move in date was so late, I decided to rent from a different place, and when I requested a refund of the $65 application fee they refused to give it back, even though it was their fault for not giving the correct move in date. I lost $65 because of their unprofessional behavior. This is unacceptable. It has been 2 weeks and I still haven’t received a refund.
I had never in my life have been more discriminated in my life, like this place has discriminated me. It seems since the beginning they try to give me excuses for why I couldn’t qualify here. The manager called me and had the audacity to tell me that my service animal letter wasn’t real, I asked her if she even bother to contact my dr from my prescription letter and she said no. Rude and attitude, So disappointed In this place.
Horrible, since I’ve moved in all you hear is beating on the walls and roof. Can’t even sleep in peace! You are woken up every morning at about 7am by noise because they are still remodeling from the flood i guess. Rent is way over priced and they do not care about anything at all, if I pay high rent every month I should at least be able to sleep in peace and not be woken up thinking somebody is tryna break in from all the beating from the contractors. If anyone from staff read this yall need to care more for the residents because this is ridiculous, it seems like my whole year here I will hear beating on the wall every morning while I am trying to sleep. This is supposed to feel like home and I can’t even come home from work and relax. Someone really needs to do better
I live here and LOVE it. Its safe, convenient and the management is on top of things. The grounds stay nice, people are quiet and friendly.I couldnt ask for a better apartment community.
. I “said yes to the ADDRESS” because……. the staff was great. They were super helpful and followed up continuously. They made sure to give me the best rate possible and worked with m,e even when I was being complicated. I am looking forward to moving in in April!!
Very poorly managed. Falling apart. Slow to address service issues. Im very glad im here temporarily. I can barely stand it. I lived at Kings Cove (just up the block) for 8 months, 3 years ago and it was MUCH better; I hear it still is.Flooding June 2016Most of the pictures on here are old and the place has not aged gracefully.
Luxury apartments for what, customer service and all kinds of fees are what to expect at this place,Jarvis worst guy ever, I’m not even one of those people to Write reviews, but I truly felt to wrote this. Just be aware of the difficulties at this place.👎👎
I say “yes to this address” My experience in Harbor Cove have been outstanding management keeps up clinginess with the building maintenance there very respectful and professional They try to fix any issues in a timely manner I will say yes to live Here they’re very family orientated I have come to make this place my home.
Great apartment complex! Fell in love immediately with the community, environment, and apartment met my needs! Happy for a new home. Thank you Caleb for all your help!
All I want to say is , it makes sense why this complex has SO MANY bad reviews. It’s sad because the apartments are beautiful. Just horrible management !!
Called with Locator questions. Staff couldnt provide straight, definite answers and was very snippy about his own like of knowledge of the community. 10/10 would not recommend.
We had a few hiccups in the beginning but after working together and providing excellent customer service everything turned out wonderful (:
Donna is the best!!! Love the apartments and the whole complex! Beautiful floorplan and location!
Great location! Maintainace staff is really good. Prices are competitive. We loved it here!
Excellent service from Donna and Amanda .. this place is lovely .. clean .. neat .. up kept .. and this is my first apartment
I’m beginning to think all of these reviews are fake.. All I see is “yes to the address”... Now I’m not even thinking about touring the place.
Clean and quiet community. Also a friendly staff. Go Amber and Sharon.
Very poor management . Rude staff. The grounds are a mess !! Horrible experience
I said yes to the ADDRESS
The manager is very rude we went to offer our services and handed her our business cards and she just ripped them off. If she needed nothing services she could have stated that instead of being rude. No professionalism at all.
Terrible place to live. The only thing thats halfway nice is the office, otherwise the cleanliness and management are terrible. Not recommended. Everything is old and smelly, they never invest in renovation and when things fail they never solve it or only halfway. Only change light bulbs for pennies
A very nice and above all quiet place
