Update 11-16-24 it took getting Crossroads Today Victoria News involved to get this cleaned up. Afterwards the manager of these apartments sent me a petty email showing her true colors. The employees cleaning the trash made threats towards me. Sucks to have to do your job and clean up after yourselves eh.Update 10-03-24 Funny how I can still take daily pics from my front yard of this places trash.The manager of these apartments told me there is no trash problem. Sure is funny I can snap a new pic of this trashy apartment complex every morning.This is disgusting and trashy. This is what we have to see everyday! We have had to see their trash when we walk out our front door for years!!! This is unacceptable and disgusting. Why do we have to see your trash?

Updated 11/14/24: The Dakota apartments still have overflowing and uncontained trash and litter. This is extremely disgusting and unsightly. The trash blows into the neighboring properties. This is a frequently recurring issue that has not been resolved for the last few years. When will Victoria, TX Code Enforcement do something about this trashy property management?

I cannot say enough positive comments related to this apartment complex. The staff are incredible, absolutely easy to talk to and professional. The maintenance crews are as well and so fast to respond to any issues. The apartments are beautiful and large with nice touches of crown molding updated appliances, but even more important they are well made. I have yet to hear any of my neighbors through the walls. These are very well constructed. People who live here are very nice and sociable, and the grounds are well kept. This is an excellent and safe place to live. Kuddos to the staff!

I am moving to this location in 2 days, I have been all over the property and I love that its close to the park, the theater and the mall! I cannot wait. The units are well built and the amenities are beautiful especially the gym. I have been working closely with the staff over the last 3 months and all of my concerns and questions have been addressed. Jessica, Kim and Crystal are wonderful! I would recommend to anyone.

Great apartment and the staff is super nice! Everything from the application to move in was easy. Needed a few light bulbs when we moved in. Maintenance came the same day.

I absolutely loved living here. That staff was always friendly and helpful. Shout out to Courtney V for making my application experience easy and worry free. She also answered any of my questions throughout my lease term without hesitation. If you are looking for a luxury apartment that will make you feel at home and safe then The Duke is where you need to be.

Short but facts...Im super picky and being a military wife I have been all over the place and The Duke Apartments is on my top list of where I have stayed. I plan on being here as long as I can. Office staff is great all of them from Kim, Courtney, Dee and Jessica. Very Quite and clean property. Neighbors are respectful and that a plus. Apartments very nice, clean and spacious. If I could give 20 stars I definitely would. Need a new place, this is it... You wont regret it.

I moved into the duke apartments in 2017 being my first apartment, signing a 12 month lease . When I lost my job I went to the office and asked what I would have to do to break my lease such as what papers to sign and what to pay. The leasing agent told me “ oh don’t worry about it I have someone looking for a one bedroom “ . Not knowing that it was wrong not signing papers or anything I said okay and they sublet my apartment without changing the names on the lease , so when the guy who I met when I was moving out ( he was already moving in ) broke the lease a month later it went bad on my credit and I now owe them almost $3,000 . When I called & emailed Kimberly the “ property manager “ she was very very rude and told me to “ find corporates number myself “ and hung up and wouldn’t speak to me at all after. I never thought I’d get taken advantage of but I did & now I have to pay with having them on my credit now I can’t get another place to live. No one ever contacted me saying I owed anything or that the guy left I just saw it pop up on my credit the beginning of this year . On the other hand Courtney is very sweet ☺️ She started after this all happened but every time I call she’s extremely nice and professional.

I love living here. The location is phenomenal: walking or biking distance from anything you could want on your time off work. The place feels like a resort, not an apartment complex. I am so glad we moved in early. The best part is that it is much cheaper than the listing online. Ask the front desk if they are running any specials for move in, and tell them that Kammy sent you.

Havent moved in yet but am counting down the days! Im so excited. The ladies in the office have been so amazing and helpful. Theyve really made this so much more enjoyable and easier than I ever thought possible. If they are any reflection on how my stay there is going to be then I will feel truly blessed to call the Duke my home. See yall Saturday ladies!!!!!

Amazing. The staff treats u like family. The residents are friendly and respectful. Yes there are times things need to be tended to or fixed, I the maitiencce is amazing as well. Location is fabulous. I have had a wonderful experience and would recommend renting here to family and friends.

Nice apartments, great management. I’ve been living here over 2 years now. Management team Roxy, Kim and Courtney are very nice and helpful ladies. If you have any problems, they make sure they fix it in no time. Definitely recommend this apartment complex and the management team deserves a big shoutout!

One of the newer apartments in town, the apartment was clean on move in, the parking area safe, with an entrance gate most of the people there to do harm avoid it and head to the other side of town. Id you can check out their carriage house units for rent, the included garage with extra storage space is incredibly handy to have.

Highly recommend to avoid this establishment, ppl are very rude. You absolutely cant wait in your car while your friend finishes her makeup the manager will call the cops, and the manager will try to give you a fine if you park too close to the yellow line...says it makes it hard for residents to get in and out of their vehicle, even though noone was parked near me. Seriously I would recommend avoiding this place at all cost.

Lived there for a little over a year and was great at first until landscaping got out of control and never got better. Moved out in September of 2017 and never got a move out bill. Last week after over a year I get a call from collections saying I owe them money. Have multiple phone records and came in multiple times to pay with a company check and never gave us an amount and always said we will get back to you. Collections said they couldn’t contact us which is not true. We have email correspondence from when we lived there and our numbers haven’t changed. Tried calling corporate today and left a message and never got a call back. Lawyer is working on next steps. Very disappointed duke and I hope this doesn’t hurt my credit because your lack of attention to details.

If you like a place that quite with no road noise this is a great place. The rooms are extremely nice. The staff is amazing and remembers your name which is always a plus when you walk into the office and are greeted with your name.

Beautiful big and well priced. Security is a joke and all the other tenants i met have fruit flys in their apartments and spiders are a problem. So sad because otherwise they would be perfect.

Haven’t moved in yet, but I’m sooo ready! The ladies at the front desk are amazing and super helpful. The apartments are beautiful. I want to personally thank Roxann for making the leasing part sooo easy!!

Avoid this place. Management is terrible, and won’t even get into how terrible a move in we had. Landscape and upkeep of property has gotten so bad. Only good part is head of maintenance he works his tail off.

Very professional ladies, always have a smile and willing to assist in any way. Apartments and property are kept up well. Not to mention they have a trash service that picks trash up from your front door!

Don’t believe what you see online or commercials just a lie. I cannot wait to move out. Your own parking spot, quite and clean environment, knowledgeable, respects staffs.I would not recommend to stay here!

Great place to live,office personal are great and make you feel like family ,Maintenance Take care of issues right away and are very nice,location is perfect right in the middle of everything lots of restaurants ,movie theater,mall,grocery stores & Access to a very nice park that has a pond

Best apartments in town. They have a salt water pool. Decent fitness area. Dog walk area. Great location.

While the property is beautiful and the apts are spacious, when there are conflicts say like neighbors who are noisy continously, management doesnt handle conflicts well

My daughters washing machine & dishwasher sucked and for the high price you pay for rent, it should have been replaced or repaired, air conditioner problems too 😐 high electric bill every month too
