The Pointe at Victoria

From the newly renovated clubhouse, stainless steel appliances, large garden bathtubs to having Valet Living doorstep trash. The Pointe at Victoria has so many things to offer their residents, with the frequent property events, to awesome community staff. The manager Amanda takes pride in the community. She is very kind and will address any concerns with prompt attention. I would definitely recommend the Pointe at Victoria, such a wonderful community!

We recently moved in and it has been fantastic so far. The people here are amazing, the apartments are amazing, the scenery is amazing. All around this place is great.

Lived here for nearly a year, service has been great recently, Devon in particular was really friendly and professional. Great help to our residents.

Community and service is great and very clean. And all 3 ladies in the front office were very helpful and attentive!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I want to leave an honest review, I have had issues regarding a unit and it has been hell trying to find a solution. The apartment manager has been very helpful and trying to stay on top of the issues and will reach out personally when you have a complaint. The environment isnt bad there either, fairly quiet neighbors. Some people may have concerns with the train tracks being so close, living about 50 feet from them I barely was ever bothered by the noise so thats a plus.

Francisco the lead maintenance man works wonders! 100/100 recommended!! Amanda in the office is also amazing! Thank you both for all that you do!!

Best apartments too he living in great friendly place for pets as well. Never had problems there and it’s been great ever since I moved in. Staff is also very helpful regardless of the situation. Theresa Martinez has been really helpful ever since I moved in one of the best neighbors I could have. Appreciate everything she’s helped me with.

Immediately upon on arrival I was greeted very enthusiastically well. I was made to feel very comfortable but not pressured. Amy Ostler answered all of my many questions. She was very knowledgeable honest and fun. She was so welcoming and the rest of the staff was very nice and helpful. I’m so glad they all had such positive attitudes. So, I immediately applied!

I love living at The Pointe at Victoria..Really nice apartment complex very quite very clean. Any work orders I needed were taken care of right away. Amanda, who is our property manager is awesome, helpful and very kind! I recommend anyone who is moving to the Victoria area to live at The Pointe!! 😊

My apartment is truly excellent. Not only does it offer modern amenities like a well-equipped gym and a refreshing swimming pool, but it also prioritizes safety and security. The secure access and vigilant security staff provide peace of mind. Moreover, the timely maintenance service ensures that everything is in top-notch condition. With friendly neighbors and a convenient location, its a perfect place to call home.

Most stress free move-in I’ve experienced! Amanda was welcoming and so helpful through the whole process. Maintenance keeps the property very clean and up-to-date. I would recommend anyone to move here!

Social events every week for this month in July. Absolutely beautiful pool. Quiet complex and the cherry on the top, superb staff in the office. Amanda, Amy and Marla. Grounds, Fernando and his crew are on point!

Came to do apartment shopping and Amy and coworkers were very caring and hospitable. You can tell they really do care about the residents as they were making waffles and coffee for their residents and I really enjoyed my time visiting and so did my guy.❤️ They even invited us to some of their events they have for their residents. I will definitely be moving in April.

I love that they have all the events they do for the community. The swimming pool is very nice not too crowded. I definitely recommend living here. Very quiet and safe environment. Don’t have any issues here and if we do they come and fix it as soon as possible.

Fernando, is THE BEST! I have never dealt with any maintenance personnel that are as prompt, courteous, and willing to explain what they are doing. I truly appreciate his prompt response and his professionalism. I know we are going to truly enjoy living at this community. Thanks again, Kathleen.

Great living spaces! Me and my roommates love our apartment, the staff are constantly hosting events for renters to participate in, and the community is very safe! Made a great choice for my first apartment

The office staff is very sweet. They are always willing to help however they can. The complex is very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend to others. Amy is always very quick to solve any issues.

Just wanted to shout out the maintenance team! We’ve had very few problems in our 3 years but they always take care of the issues asap. Last night we returned home and it was past 8pm and they were still working outside on our issue with the ac unit to make sure it got completely fixed. Thank you for your diligence and commitment to making our apartment comfortable year round.

Love our apartment so much space. It’s perfect for our little family! Love the little events the office throws for the residents, always doing something. By far the best apartments I’ve lived in!

Mrs Amanda, the manager, is awesome. She is very fast in responding. She personally followed up with the maintenance team to make sure that all issues were resolved in a very fast manner.

I stayed here for 11 months, and it is a very nice place to live. They keep the pool, grill, and walkways VERY clean most of the time. The apartments are modern and clean when you move in. I had the 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and it was perfect just for me. The manager Amanda is extremely professional and kind and will do everything in her power to help you in anyway. I gave it four stars just because the rent was expensive for the size of the unit i thought could be a little less but, everything is expensive nowadays. But all in all besides price, i would have loved to renew my lease but simply cannot afford it. It is a nice clean and quiet place too live.

The Pointe is a fantastic place to live! Between the nice apartments and amenities, friendly and helpful Office staff, and the speedy maintenance team, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this property to someone else.

This is, by far, the nicest apartment community I have ever experienced. The staff are friendly and accommodating! Even AFTER signing the paperwork. Huh, go figure! The amenities are resort-like and feature an outdoor kitchen by the large sparkling pool which boasts plenty of shade and quality furniture for some serious R & R. I highly recommend visiting The Pointe if you’re looking for a first class community to call home!

Amazing apartment complex! Amanda the property manager is approachable and very helpful. Francisco and the maintenance team are awesome and always fix things in a timely manner. This apartment is also very pet friendly and they have drawings for pet of the month! Definitely recommend living at the pointe.

I would have to say, The Pointe at Victoria apartments was the best decision I made when relocating. They are very helpful, staff and maintenance are always ready to help. The property manager goes above and beyond to assist her residents. The area is always clean, pet friendly and lots of pet areas, the pool and BBQ area are amazing. The staff always celebrate holidays of all minorities.

So my name it Trevor Dyson. I’m a first time renter and have tried looking at a few places before I looked at The Pointe at Victoria. I was having such a hard time with the other apartments places and decided give this place a shot. I’m so happy I did, everyone is so nice and so welcoming it’s is unreal. They answered all me question which I had a lot of them and had no problem answering them and explaining everything to me. The person that help me set up my lease was Isaiah. He walked the apartment down with me and my fiancé and answered every question we threw at him. After we decided that this was the place for us and wanted to sign a lease. He made the process very easy and simple to do. After I had officially moved in, there was a minor problem with the apartment so I called letting them know what the issue was. IMMEDIATELY they jumped on it and addressed the issue. I was very impressed because it’s hard to find an apartments that is managed so well. In conclusion I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live.

Amanda at the Pointe has been very helpful and nice since I’ve lived here. Maintenance is always on time & the other girls at the office have been nice with any problems we have had. Nice apartments, very clean and they’re on top of things when you bring it to their attention.

Jannely is very helpful. The neighbors are quiet. And, the trash gets picked up on time. This place has been a nice introduction to the Victoria area with grocery stores being close and parks well within driving distance.

Just moved in 2 months ago and this complex is amazing. The complex is absolutely gorgeous along with having a wonderful staff. Today we got take and bake pizza! My boyfriend and I had a blast making and eating it!!Update: 3years later we have been here! The office and manager Amanda are absolutely amazing! Along with maintenance if ever a problem they hop right on! My 2 pups love the community as well very dog friendly ! We also love the community events today was ice cream and drinks🍻

Francisco and Adrian are the absolute best. These guys answer any maintenance call no matter how big or small almost immediately. Very professional and down to earth. Never leave a mess, and always reach out for follow ups to make sure your problem has been solved. These guys are the glue that keeps the complex together, and in working order. Couldn’t ask for a better duo.

Great place. Staff are attentive and exceptional with customer service. If there are issues, they are addressed. Property is kept clean. Amanda is awesome. She goes out of her way to resolve any issues and provided alternatives. Awesome place to live.

The staff at The Point made my move from out of State pleasant and SO much easier. They are accommodating and kind, and the apartment complex is warm, inviting, and clean.Thank you for making my transition a great experience!

Jannely has consistently reached out to me to check up on me, even after I’ve moved in to make sure everything is ok or to inquire about any issues that I may have. I feel valued and cared for!

I have lived here for a while and I love it. As I read some of the bad reviews I have to wonder if we live on same property because we have outstanding service and a beautiful apartment. Maintenance is very quick and go out there way to work in a fast and timely manner.The office ladies are amazing and very professional.We are signing a new lease because this is home.The property is very well kept.

Had a very comfortable living experience here over the past two years. The apartments were always clean and I never really had to deal with severe maintenance issues. Requests were responded to in a timely manner. They went through a few different maintenance people during our time there, so sometimes the response time varied. Trash pickup also varied depending on who was doing trash as well, but generally was picked up at the times indicated on the flier we received.The leasing office ladies were helpful and willing to work with our situations. We certainly appreciated that. We moved out recently and have had a pleasant experience so far with them regarding that as well.I was sad that the fire place never worked the entire 2 years I lived there, but the pool, clubhouse, and grill area were all great places to hang out. I enjoyed the parties and events hosted by Hawthorne throughout the year. Free food is never a bad thing. Theres always free coffee and cookies at the clubhouse too.At night finding parking can be quite difficult, so sometimes I had to park a little further away than I preferred, but I could usually find someplace.Overall a comfortable place to live. :)

Love my apartment, I stay facing the street and I love my large balcony! Maintenance handles everything in a timely manner and the office staff is amazing! Not to mention the dog park my fur babies love it!

Lots of other residents own dogs, and they just leave the droppings on the grass, that is not the managements fault but something to improve.***update in 2020***I lived here from 2016 to 2018. Hawthorne was the best place Ive ever lived besides my own home. Its like an oasis in a desert. Especially if you moved from the apartment in Port Lavaca, you will find paradise here at Hawthorne.

The maintenance man Francisco, went above and beyond to make sure the appliances in our unit are in good working order. Specifically the dishwasher (thanks again) and ac. Even took the extra time to clean out the space underneath the dishwasher. Cant recommend enough, thank you!!!

I highly recommend living here. The apartments are spacious and well distributed. Also a very good point to clarify is Priscillas attention. She solves all your doubts and is very pleasant. They are a good staff since they plan very fun activities and there is always free coffee and popcorn at the reception!!

I lived at Hawthorne for 2 years ( 2016 to 2018). This was my very first grown up apartment. Hawthorne made my first experience away from home a great one. Apartments were safe and quiet. Management helped me anytime I was struggling. The property was always clean, and maintenance was fast! I was forced to move due to a roommate situation. I miss living out here. I highly recommend these apartments. Money well spent!

I had very high hopes here and for the most part, it’s a wonderful apartment. Maintenance is great, but they are here so often because my AC constantly goes out (I don’t blame maintenance, he comes and fixes it every time).The space is great, but most of the details are questionable given the price. All countertops are peel and stick and the carpet was filthy when we moved in. The gym has at least 2 machines that never work.Also docking stars for the fact that residents are allowed to smoke anywhere outside their apartment, including the hallway right outside my front door so my baby and I are exposed to secondhand smoke.UPDATE: gate system is horrendous. If you don’t have cell service, no one is getting in. Yeah you can pay for a key fob, but guests/babysitters/delivery services will have a difficult time entering. It’s outdated.

My husband got a job offer in Point Comfort. We really didnt have a lot of time to look for a place due to the short notice. I called around Port Lavaca, and no luck. There were no available apartments in PL. Then I called The Pointe Victoria apartments. Thank You Jesus for Priscilla. I told her our situation, and she was able to help us get an apartment in no time.She was very helpful in helping us get an apartment. She answered every question.She was very considered with our moving situation. And Im very thankful for that. Once again, thank you so much, Priscilla and Amanda♡We really appreciate everything. Since I am a person who relies heavily on reviews when picking an apartment company I wanted to share my experience with Hawthorne at Victoria. My move in process was fast and efficient. My apartment wasn’t as cleaned as I liked but that really wasn’t a big deal. My apartment did seemTo have an issue with gnats ! I’mNot sure if it’s a Victoria thing or just my apartment in general. The apartment manger Sylvia Personally walked my apartment with pest control . She went out and both items to put in my drains as wells as left me a little apology basket fullOf snacks and treats which I greatly appreciated. I sometimes has to submit duplicate Maintenance request before someone came but to be fair this is a large complex! I’ve never had an issue with crime or any craziness. Parking can get hectic in the front if you get home later in the evening . Also for some strange reason the exit gates always malfunction. You have to use your keypad to open the othergate to get out which can be frustrating in theMorning! One thing I do love is the amount of resident events they have ! Literally every month it’s a party in the clubhouse which shows howMuch they appreciate their residents. If I weren’t relocating to another city I would Definitely Renew my lease at Hawthorne. I’m extremely picky of where I live and overall Hawthorne exceeded my expectations.

The community is very friendly, the events that take place are well organized. The pet friendly environment is amazing to experience. The front office girls are perfect. If I ever need anything at a moments notice its usually taken care of. Pet park is spacious, pool is always fun. Club house is always a hoot. 👍

Move-out update: Be wary of the legalese and language they use, particularly if you signed with the Hawthorne before it got bought out. I paid a pet fee and a pet deposit totaling $750 for two cats; I understand not getting those kinds of things back, but I was charged an additional $75 on top of that for pet treatment. I would imagine even a nonrefundable pet fee would be used to address default charges (treatment was described as a default charge on moveout), but they maintain it isn’t and that it’s not just a way to make money. I don’t know what that’s for ultimately, if not regular clean up (i.e. anticipated pet treatment) after the pet is moved out. There are other things that align weirdly between the original Hawthorne lease and the Pointe moveout experience, namely how much either charges for particular moveout items.It doesn’t help that communication is lacking. I tried to confirm on three separate occasions whether I’d be refunded my $375 per pet, and I was told that yes, I could be refunded, if nothing was charged to it. I never received any further clarification and got the legalese of the Hawthorne lease saying “fee” vs “deposit,” which just doesn’t seem very fair. I guess the Pointe doesn’t have individual receipts and payment info, so things just differ between the two. It’s just an unpleasant experience. The new management is difficult to get a hold of and not as empathetic as the old management, so just make sure you follow the legalese and the letter of your lease, not what you’ve been told verbally or what you were told or what you experienced when it was the Hawthorne.They also only give you seven days to pay move-out fees. My paycheck luckily falls into that period, but it seems needlessly punitive. The whole process with this company feels needlessly punitive and hostile.-I very much like the community. It’s quiet where I’m at, no worse than regular apartment living anywhere I’ve been. The pool has kids playing in it because of course, and I face away from it so I only hear them while walking past. The clubhouse isn’t really a hub of activity, but there are resources and activities on offer. They have snacks and coffee/tea/cocoa (Starbucks machine, so nothing to scoff at, actually pretty decent). Parking is plentiful, and there are a lot of available carports.I have cats, but this seems like a great place to have dogs.The finishes are a bit short of luxury (carpet is installed so it never quite lies flat, laminate on cabinetry is more like bad wallpaper I’m a little afraid of ripping), and there are some items in terms of design and putting-together that lacked thought. The toilet paper dispenser is at the height of the toilet seat. The kitchen cabinet meant for dinnerware is exactly 11 inches deep, which is the width of a standard dinner plate. You can’t adjust the height of the pantry shelves, and none are exactly tall enough to comfortably fit wine glasses.The valet trash occasionally leaves something to be desired, but just having it is great.I would probably give the Hawthorne 6/5 stars if the weird little things about the apartment finishings weren’t there. Everything else negative is fairly arbitrary, and the positives are great. The neutrals are probably better, namely the fact I have nothing actually bad to say. It’s just the really weird design and installation lapses that didn’t need to happen that make you go... “why tho?”

The point of victoria has been our home for 3 yrs. Its a beautiful place to live and our family has been at Home since weve been here. Maintenance staff is awsome. Office staff is Great. Would definitely recommend living at The point of victoria.

I’m looking at these apartments and look tremendously beautiful to live at. If I lived in Victoria, Texas I would definitely be a resident at the Hawthorne at Victoria apartment complex......I bet their staff is awesomely helpful also I know Sylvia Martinez is one of the best employees there, no doubt in my mind.So, if you’re looking for a cosy well known apartments go check this great place out you won’t be disappointed.Nice, work out area by the way.

Wonderful place to call home! Most spacious apartments in the area. The front office staff is always so friendly and make this place feel even more like home! Audri, Sabryna and Sylvia do an amazing job and always greet you with a smile. Service techs are always on top of their game and get things done. If you are looking for a place to live I would recommend Hawthorne at Victoria by far!

We had the pleasure of yesterday having Francisco the maintenance worker coming to help while we were trying to jump off our car. He happened to be riding by while we were letting the car charge and without even asking he got out and was helping us, he was so nice and even gave tips and maintenance help to our vehicles, which isn’t even part of his job description. He was a sweet and kind soul. We live at the Hawthorne Victoria, he’s part of the reason the service here is so awesome!

I have lived here for about six months, and while I wish I could say this is a great place to live...it just isnt unless youre a loud rude college student with no regard for the peace of your neighbors.Since being here we have had to endure loud neighbors at night AND in the morning, constant running upstairs (there must be very little insulation or whatever it is they should use between floors because we hear almost every movement upstairs), and people throwing cigarette butts and trash in front of our door and balcony. Disgustingly, there is a tampon...a TAMPON...that has been sitting quite clearly in the space near our balcony for over three weeks that maintenance has yet to pick up. Two months ago I posted a comment on their community forum to address some of these issues and not surprisingly, the comment is still pending.In addition to this, parking is absolutely horrible. I have a mom who is disabled, and we often need to use the handicap space. Sadly, even this is sometimes occupied by neighbors who clearly have no right using it because they usually have nowhere to park near their own building. Also, I chose these apartments because they said their maintenance staff responds to requests in 24hours. Yeah...no! There have been times our issues have not been addressed for weeks. Ive also called their on- site security officer to address loud neighbors...no one ever responded. Were it not for the fact that the unit is nice on the inside and the location is good, I would probably only give one star.

I haven’t had any major issues with my apartment. Maintenance requests are quickly filled and for what I pay, I think it’s a fair trade. The only thing that’s a nuisance is the the water doesn’t get as hot as I like. If you are running the day dishwasher or washing machine, you can’t take a shower because the water will be ice cold. I have requested that the water heater be turned up and the temperature gauge has been replaced, but that didn’t fix the issue.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Its an awesome environment to live in. It is well protected known as gated community. The ‘gorgeous’ ladies (office staff) are very friendly, knowledgable, always greet with smiles everytime a customer walk in and etc. Therefore, nice apartments on their property. ♥️

Exceptional maintenance responding time, all work orders were resolved within 24 hours. Priscilla, Jannely, and Amanda are dedicated and attentive to the community needs.

Just not a good spot, poorly build and put together, foundation issues, roofing issues. owners keep selling and hiring new management companies, the turn around of employees is worse than at a fast food joint. Not to mention constantly changing names, yea signage upfront looks real good with a plastic banner over it.... Place is a joke

Hawthorne is a good combination of everything. This are the best apartments in town offering very open floor plans at a competitive price. The staff is always there to answer any question or suggestion. Love this apartment complex!! Recommended!!

This place is the worst place that I have ever stayed. First, let me start with the dirtiness of this complex. No matter how well I kept my aprtment clean and tidy, there always seemed to be bugs flying around inside the apt. Second, upon moving in, the apartment was barely cleaned. There was dust on the window rails and it was obvious that the tubs were painted over due to the stains in the tub. Mosquitos were rampantin the lot and around each apt unit. When I called management to spray the area, I was told that it is each tenants duty to buy mosquito killer. I have never heard of such a thing.I only stayed there for 1.5 yrs whille I worked in Victoria. I was ready to leave. Now hawthorne has sent me to collections for un kmown reasons. Hawthorne has never made an attempt to contact me if there was an unpaid balance on my account. They automatically sent me to collections without even notifying me. This management of this place is extremly subpar and is definitely not worth the amount of money that is required by rent.

Don’t get use to the rate you move in at. Rather than keeping your current rate locked in when you go to renew your one year lease the price will continue to go up. Some kind of incentive for loyal tenants...thanks for staying with us, now fork out another $150/mo on top of one of the highest rents around. Oh, and good luck parking outside of your own building.

Let me start from the good parts. The community is mostly clean. The maintenance response is usually very quickly. They do what they can to fix the problems.Now the bad parts. In summary, they dont care about your privacy and they would tell you something that is apparently not true while knowing you cannot prove them wrong. (I am doing my best to refrain using the L word.) Long story short, I requested the maintainers to not wear outside shoes in my apartment. He said he is not allowed to take off the shoes because there might be something sharp on my floor. So I let him come in the first time. The second time, I asked the same person to wear shoe covers. He didnt even think and told me they ran out of it today. Well, they had it just a few days ago when another maintainer came with it and they just happen to ran out of it whenever he needs it?Now the second part. They had to come in everyday for a week while I was not home to fix my AC. After the AC was fixed, I left a message to the office and also left a note on my door stating that I no longer give my consent to allow entry to my apartment. They still came in!!! I called the office to complain about it. The staff I talked to said that she called me and someone picked up my phone. I had my phone with me at the time she claimed she made the phone call but I did not receive any phone call or have a missed call. So, who did she talk to? She just straight told me she had my consent. No apology about invading my privacy, not even about any inconvenience that they may have caused.I have lived in 5 different apartment complexes for more than 10 years and never had problem with maintainers or management team. However, Hawthorne is making me very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I cannot move out for another 8 months.

I’ve visited friends at Hawthorne & let me tell you! Such a beautiful place! They have great amenities, including a clean, big pool and a community grilling area. The staff is awesome and willing to go above and beyond to help! Would definitely recommend! :)

Amazing experience! I moved in from Dallas and Audri was able to give me a virtual tour over facetime so I didnt have to make a trip. She even helped me get one of my heavy boxes in my truck lol. Highly highly highly recommend this complex. Great amenities and front office staff!

This has been the worst experience ever. From the start I knew we were in trouble when before we could even move in we had to deep clean the apartment. Next we did the walk through and we had doors that wouldnt even close. Lights that were burned out. No trash can (which we pay 15 a month for a service that we never recieve) and the list goes on. The fact of the matter is this place is so cheaply built its only been around a few years and is already falling apart. When i first came to the office interested in this place, i asked them about the train that is located right alongside the property. I said does this train come by often and is it noisy? The front desk asked me what train? Like they have never heard of it. I responded with the train right next to the appartments, does it have like hours where it wont come by? They were like Oh that train, yea we never hear it. That was a lie, It comes by all the time blowing its whistle and at all hours of the day and night. Would never have rented here if we knew this in advance. We did not have neighbors for the first few months, then they put people to the right of us. I did not think anything of it. One day i saw a puddle on the floor in our washer dryer room. I called maintenance and he spent 1 minute telling me it must have been from me putting too many clothes into the washer. I reluctantly say okay after telling him it was alot of water. Then a few days later it happened again. And I know for a fact I had not used the washer. Turns out there was a leak from when the new people moved in. At this point the water had reached our spare bedroom. It created mold on all of our belongings and made the room stink. We took the insurance that they said was required but apparently it doesnt cover our stuff, just our neighbors stuff if something were to happen. We had at least $2,000 worth of stuff damaged we had to throw out. We asked if their insurance should cover it because it was damaged done by their building. They said they would look into it. Then they moved people upstairs. These people are a couple with a baby. I have only seen the man like 4 times since they moved in and never seen the other person. You may be asking how do I know who lives there then? Because I can hear every single footstep and every cry from the baby. I do not believe that they are the heaviest footed people in the world, I am certain it goes back to the cheaply made buildings. None the less at 5am they are stomping around and my wife and I can not sleep. I would never rent with this company again. I will tell everyone how miserable my experience has been.

Living here has been great so far. You can tell the new management is really trying. The place seems to get nicer each week

Here is an honest review. We’ve been here a few months now and we just moved to Victoria so we needed a place ASAP. We looked at the Duke and here but thought this place was cheaper (it’s not by $50) and they had a move in ready place so we took it. And we wish we would have waited and went with the Duke for the price and other things. This might be long but this is how we feel with the last few months of living here.The girls in the front are great always nice and helpful with the many times we’ve been in there. Their office hours are amazing as well they’re open every day even if it’s for a short time I like that they are open every day. We’ve had to go in there at least once a week or every other week it seems like with the same service requests. It’s been almost a month now and they still haven’t cleaned the vent next to our patio where there is a yellow jackets nest and I’ve been stung by bees in the apartment that have flown in from somewhere and linger inside.There is a guy that has like 4 cars in the complex and Saturday mornings like clock work he reves his car for a good 20 minutes then reverses and leaves the complex just to come back 10 minutes later and do it all over again. He usually does this for about 2 hours while drinking a beer in the car. We’ve asked him why and he just says he’s checking the fuel in take lolThe walls are a little thin.. as I type this I can hear the baby next door crying and the parents calming it down with some great music. Lol we are on the second floor and our downstairs neighbors have told us they can hear us talking and walking around and the people above us sound like they are running marathons all day long with heavy feet. There is only carpet in the bedrooms so there is no noice cancellation at all every door slam or loud talker going up the stairs you can hear clear as day. We live by the pool on the opposite side of the building and we can always hear people using the area. The whole complex is one big echo. We heard guys in their third floor place that had their patio open, inside our apartment while we were watching a movie a few weekends ago. We just asked them to keep it down and that my husband had work in the morning and all was well.The location is a little far from everything major like the mall but there is a Walmart and HEB within equal distance of the place that are pretty good ones.There is valet trash but they are VERY picky about what they will take so it’s almost not worth it but you can’t opt out... for example I had some curtain rods (plastic) in the bag and the guy almost didn’t take our trash. (I heard something outside so I opened the door to see and he was writing a note to leave on our door on why he couldn’t take the trash) I had to take them out of the sealed bag and walk them down to the compactor the next day.. also the compactor gets really full really fast so on like Friday’s you’ll just see it piled way up and out... spilling over the sidewalkOur place also falls right behind a pet station but the other night we had our windows open because it felt so good out and all we could smell was the dog poop coming from the station... (they appear to get cleaned regularly and the trash taken I’ve never see it over flowing)They have a “dog park” but it’s really just the water retention area and a few of the residence I’ve talked to said that their dog gets out (from the giant gap in the bottom of the door..) and that the place has really bad flees so no one is ever there.Also the complex isn’t in the safest place my husband heard gunshots and a scream in the neighborhood behind us and when we called they said that police were already on the scene so in short my husband heard someone get shot behind our apartment. LolThere is a train that runs literally right behind the apartment they don’t use the horn or anything so that’s nice, but if you don’t have fans going you can hear it pretty clear as it passes.The residents are sweet and everyone seems nice and helpful.

Everyone here is great, Pricilla and Amanda and Sabrina are always there when I need them , every problem I have is solved with a call, a stop by, an email,…. Information is widely given and stress to everyone…. If you are looking this is wonderful place to start… special was great and they work with everyone!

The past two years have been great here. Hawthorne at Victoria has great amenities, modern apartments, outstanding neighbors, a professional an gorgeous office staff. Come join the community.

Jannely was the consultant that helped us. She was very helpful with filling out the application process until everything was completed and she was very nice. Highly recommend!

There gate never works at the key pad always a problem. Nice apartments but get ready to pay $250+ on electricity setting your thermostat at 73 during the summer months, not insulated to well.

This is a beautiful place to live and the apartments are huge! The ladies in the office are very kind and helpful and the maintenance guys are quick and take care of anything you need. I highly recommend living here!

This place is so expensive, for oilfield trash built apartments. They never fix there stuff never pick up my trash. My tub has had a hole in it for almost 2 years and all they do is patch it and it opens back up ever few weeks. When they did hurricane fixes they never completed the whole job and got paint all over my furniture. Blaming it on me saying I should 9f moved the stuff out. This place can go to hell....

Anytime I have needed help the manager, Amanda, has gone out of her way to help me. The apartment itself is updated, comfortable and feels safe.

Go somewhere else.. DO NOT LIVE HERE. THEY WILL SWINDLE YOU. If I could give them any lower I would. Its fine as long as you only reside here once. DONT GO BACK. They will charge you nothing to move in then at the end of your lease charge you for moving out even though they said that the only thing you have to pay upon moving out is the last water bill and electric bill. This is wrong. You will have to pay for the professional cleaning afterwards. While there, the upstairs bathroom leaked and flooded my bathroom downstairs. The Air conditioning broke 4 times in the last 4 months, their Ac vents have mold growing on them and in them because they never cleaned the water out to begin with. So they will swindle you for 200 dollars to clean it professionally even if you were to clean it.

A pleasant community with both college students, families, and construction workers as renters. Staff and service exceptional. Very quick to respond when an issue comes up. Newly painted outside, a good looking gated community.

I pay $25 a month for a covered parking space. Apparently Im a sucker because there are people that park under the covered parking that do not pay for a space, and the apartment staff dont do anything about it. Yesterday someone parked in a neighbors spot and when he brought it up to management this morning he was told that if they do it for 10 days, then they can say something to them. So basically told him yea you pay for the space but we dont care if someone parks in the space you pay for. Signs have not been placed yet 2017-10-14. As of the 18th it was stated by another resident whom had someone parking in their rented space that again their is nothing they can do about others parking in a space that is paid for by someone else. They stated that PARKING IS NOT GUARANTEED ANYWHERE. its pretty sorry when this is such a big issue and they refuse to address it as managers of the complex. my suggestion is to not move here as you probably wont ever have a place you can park your vehicle. They sent out a memo saying they will tow, but today said they wont tow. Basically management says what they need to in order to get heat off of them, without ever doing anything to correct the issue.The ceiling over our shower is leaking from the apartment above for several weeks now. This started prior to the hurricane, and they were told about it. There is mold growing now. (Fixed - Updates on status below)Slow to fix problems Contractors do poor quality work. Maintenance does a good job, but can only do what theyre told.Fire pit doesnt work.2017-10-04They finally fixed the leak in our bathroom after acknowledging it wasnt caused by the hurricane. Videoing that I did above our ceiling and the sub floor revealed a long standing issue of leaks that caused extensive damage including a large amount of mold.2017-10-18parking is a major issue here, with apartment managers neglecting to do anything to remediate the situation. I wouldnt move here, unless you dont have a license and plan to ride the bus, taxi, or Uber/Lyft. There just isnt any parking.

I never lived at Hawthorne at Victoria I only put in an application and I was denied. That was in 2017. Hawthorne at Victoria has been charging me $899 on my credit report since 2017 and I never even had a key or payed lights, water, or gas at these apartments. I called the office and I asked about the bill that I owe and all they could tell me is we will call you back. Finally got a answer that I didnt have a bill there. They messed up and i didnt get an apology or anything. Im filing with the FTC and CFPB TODAY!!!

Very nosey, very unethical. They cant even fix the gate system. Sidewalks are always dirty, fences always broken, refuse to update gate system. People doing burnouts in the middle of night. They have the poor maintenance guys doing things that they should be paying professionals to do. They want to charge people left and right but they cant even get their own stuff together

Its located along the train tracks on 59 Business. When I was there, simple maintenance issues such as the key on the door or just a lightbulb would take WEEKS for somebody to show up. The shower never had a steady stream of water. Finally decided I had enough and moved out of this place.

Besides bugs inside the apartment they allow people to pay loud disturbing music till late at night. My family and I lived here for over 7 months now we are going to break the lease and get out of here it’s just impossible to stay in this environment. Spend your money else where it’s just not woth it
