Did my original home loan through them, then years later Zach helped me with my refinance to lower my rate. Got me a great rate and timed me perfect to get me the lowest possible. Great family and local business, I wont go anywhere else.
To start off, i HATE leaving negative reviews. However, i feel this one is necessary. I reached out to Zach Smith from City Mortgage Group via email, attempting to get approved on a 2nd mortgage. I filled out their online application, emailed over pay stubs, necessary tax returns, etc. Zach did email me back a couple of simple questions, which i answered within minutes, and then crickets. Literally crickets. I even left several voicemails w/ NO return calls, or emails.I have YET to hear a reply from anyone. I understand i was a unique situation attempting to purchase a second home. It was going to be hard for me to get approved. However, a simple NO we are not able to do anything for you would have sufficed. Still nothing to this day, 2 months later.I hear amazing things about City Mortgage Group, yet that was not my experience. Just had to share what happened w/ my situation. On a side note, i was in fact able to get the 2nd mortgage via a local bank :-)
Didn’t process a loan through Zach, but had a few questions regarding a ReFi he was great and gave me direction and information on what options I had. Thankful for these guys!
