The Landing Apartments

I lived at The Landing for 4 years and recently moved closer to my son in the Austin area.The Landing maintains both the buildings/apartments with great care & skill. The maintenance people are skilled, prompt & personable. The online service request is easy to use. The office staff has been helpful & responsive & always took time to listen & help me. The Landing is a friendly, scenic, quiet & beautiful place to live. Both staff & residents made my time there wonderful!

The Landing Apartments in Victoria, Texas is well kept, quiet and beautiful. The manager Marie Scrivner is the gem of the apartments. She is professional, on point always, and is very kind. If you have an issue, you call her and you know she will take care of everything. The maintenance staff is always happy to assist you if there is anything you need. They are very polite and attentive. I would recommend The Landing. It is a very special place to live. It is a community of really great caring people.

I have lived here for 2 years and my experience with management and maintenance staff have been very helpful, supportive and they are quick to respond and RESOLVE any and all issues. The property is very clean and well kept in all aspects like lawns being mowed weekly, tree trimming when overgrown, garbage dumpsters disposal weekly so they are not overflowing, schduled spraying for extermination of bugs with a courtesy notice sent out in advance and great lighting in the parking lot. My overall experience is that management and maintenance staff are very professional and always doing their very best to help keep the property clean and making sure everything is working great. I am so excited about my new adventure at The Landing. It is peaceful and quiet, the grounds are kept clean and well manicured. But the biggest asset this property has is Marie, she has gone above and beyond to help and it is greatly appreciated.

This is the best apartment complex in the Victoria area!! I have lived here for over 2 years, the area is quiet and beautiful. The management is very responsive, and they take great care of the property. If you are new to Victoria and looking for a place to live, this is the place I recommend!

The property is very nice, quiet and peaceful. The amenities are superb. The staff is friendly, courteous, and responsive. The property manager (Marie) was extremely helpful and patient guiding me through the process of obtaining my new home.

If I could give this place, zero stars I would. Don’t get me wrong, some of the buildings are updated and nice, but the people there are absolutely horrible and unkind. I definitely felt picked on and unsafe.This was my first apartment and first time being out of my parents house and they made it the worst experience I could ever have. The neighbors were very unfriendly and also complained about every single little thing, and when they did complain the office managers and maintenance people believed the neighbors and didn’t even stop by and ask us personally. The maintenance men one in particular complained on us every chance he got and was very rude, and was unhelpful. My AC went out twice and it took days to get help, I also had my washer machine break and it took over a week to get help! I dreaded every second of my time there. And to top it off I paid a cleaning person a lot to come and fix stuff and clean everything back to tip top shape. The place was cleaner than when I first stepped foot into it. I finally got the bill back of what the charged to fix and clean and only received $200 out of the $800 back, they charged ridiculous amounts for ridiculous things, the funniest one was they charged me for was the garage even though I cleaned that out myself. I would definitely recommend taking your service and money elsewhere!

Worst apartment ever, didn’t know they still existed on the North side of Victoria. We lived there for 9 months waiting for our home to be finished. 75% of our time there we had no AC and no heater. The fix was a portable ac unit that sat in the living room which didn’t cool the bed room or bathroom. Everything is outdated, the oven burns food and the stackable washer and dryer are old, loud and breaks down. Garage door didn’t close due to the electrical mechanism being repaired with a wire. Air enters through the front door and old windows which leads to a high electric bill. Entrance to the complex has pot holes you have to drive around. We finally moved out and the manager told me she is charging me for a dirty fan, stained stove inserts and the inside of the fridge being dirty. Before we moved out ac went out again for the 5th time. They then brought the portable ac back which leaked and flooded the living room soaking the stuff we were putting in boxes to move. They then brought in a large loud black fan to dry the water. Today I asked for my deposit back and the manager told me I was being charged for a dirty fan blade, dirty stove inserts and a dirty fridge. The audacity of this manager to charge me for those things. Warning this place is as awful as the professionalism of the Manager.

Go to the Landing! Where comfy cozy is just a start of your apartment home. The staff is there for you to do what is possible to meet your needs accordingly and maintenance keep the grounds looking beautiful along with making sure that they meet the needs of the residents.

I lived there back in the mid 90s. I asked for an apt with the carpet on its last legs as I had a 3 year old and a newborn. I didnt want to be charged for leaving the carpet in bad condition. I was still charged for it when I received the remainder of my deposit.

He carpet is patched together not all one color. Inspect it closely and take pictures of anything not perfect. To prove it was that way when you move in.

I just wasnt sure where I should park as a visitor. Nice walking path and has a really down home feeling which adds to the view and calm atmosphere.

Nice place to live. Great location and nice little lake to make it feel more cozy.
