Don’t move here. Make sure they show you the actual unit you’re moving in to because they showed me a model apartment and the unit I got looked nothing like the unit I was shown. The person who previously rented my unit obviously had roaches and they just painted over the roaches on the walls…smh. These apartments are trash and they never fix anything. It literally took them more than 2weeks to fix my kids toilet😡 The parking is horrible too, I always had random people parking in my spot and they never came to tow the cars. The number on the signs don’t even work for the tow trucks.
I lived there and it was a horrible place to live. There was pee smell in the apartment before I even moved in. The people in the office tried to help but they couldnt do to much because of the there management team called Adara communities. I contacted everyone. But no one helped. They refused to change my carpet. They just kept steam cleaning it and it still smelled like pee.It was a bad experience. I lived there in 2023/2024. DONT MOVE HERE.
Absolutely the WORST apartment I have EVER lived in! This place has the most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with and the apartments are horribly maintained, packaged with never ending rent increases with so many additional fees and increases in the fees it is not worth it! I dealt with constant water leaks from the apartment above to the point that our bathroom was covered in black mold, the hole they cut out of the ceiling to repair the water leak one time was left until we actually moved out, and the entire building was infested with roaches! Then, after move out they had the audacity to charge astronomical fees and claim a 60 day notice was not provided even though it was. This company is the WORST! Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT move here!!!!!!
Really enjoyed my time at these apartments! Shawn & John do a really great job managing the place. Shawn made my application process so easy, actually the easiest application process I’ve done for any rental. He’s response time to all my queries were super quick. The units itself was just want I needed and at a good price compared to other apartments in the area. Really loved the brick fireplace and vaulted ceilings.
The price fit my budget and super convenient area for our family. So far the staff has been really great and helpful. So currently I give it 5 stars.
Overall, I enjoyed living at these apartments. The community is great and peaceful but there are several things I would like to touch on and give future renters a heads up before moving into this apartment complex. The community has very friendly people who keep to themselves. I did experience some issues in which I had obtained a paid covered parking and other residents would occupy my parking space probably assuming it was still vacant. I went approximately two months in which I couldn’t park at one of my two PAID spaces because periodically they would be occupied by another resident. When I informed the leasing office about this issue, they informed me that they first like to warn the owner of the vehicle about the spot being occupied before towing. Because I am the type of person that hates to inconvenience people, I never called for a tow truck and only simply left respectful notes on the windshield asking not to occupy my parking spaces. When the issues continued on, understandably not much could be done other than placing a warning sticker on the vehicle, the leasing office did not offer not to charge me for the parking, I will still pay in full regardless if I am able to utilize my parking or not. I would highly encourage anyone who decides to move here to get the covered parking spaces because parking at night is a NIGHTMARE. Side note, the dryers at the laundry DO NOT DRY.The apartments themselves are a bit on the older side and in need of some remodeling. The carpet is old but somewhat maintained. The floors are uneven and the cabinets both in the kitchen and bathroom are old and worn out and the front and patio/balcony doors are heavy and loud when they are being shut. Our toilet wasn’t fully attached to the floor. If you choose an apartment with a fireplace, the summers will definitely run up your electric bill due to the heat that enters the fireplace. I would occasionally find roaches but it was not infested and there is a major wasp issue at this complex btw. This may in reality be at some fault of mine, at the time of signing my lease, I read my lease through and through but I have appeared to have missed the part where they charge a cleaning fee at the point of moving for the carpet cleaning. I left the apartment in what I believed was in spotless condition. I cleaned and treated the carpet, cleaned all around and even decided to leave a water filter, curtain rods and brand new fan in the bedroom in which I asked the complex management if it was okay to do because I believed the next occupant may benefit from these items, I was informed that it should not be a problem. Soon after I moved out, I called in regards to my deposit in which I was informed that the inspection was completed and I was told that “it was one of the cleanest apartments I have ever inspected. I hardly had to take any pictures of anything.” Which informed me that I did a good job maintaining the apartment. Of course I had mounted a TV on the wall and filled in the holes which I assume I will be charged for the very spotty paint job that will be competed. I am yet to be told why I won’t be receiving my deposit back.Overall I didn’t have a bad experience, I just wish I would have made a note to certain parts of my lease. Personally I believe it should be up to the apartment complex management to provide a courtesy cleaning after a resident moves out and not charge the previous resident for cleaning and the paint job. I left the apartment the way I found it, I did not paint the walls and only mounted my TV and yet I still lost my deposit and was charged an extra $103 for move out fees and carpet cleaning. Take pictures before moving in and take pictures after moving out if you feel the need to dispute these charges!Below I have attached a picture of the condition I discovered the toilet at the point of moving in. My fault for not performing a thorough inspection but I took it upon myself to deep clean this and never reported it to the apartment complex for fears that I would be charged for some cleaning fee.
The leasing office workers are awful. I have had a contract with 19920 Foxwood Forest for over a year. The thing is that I need to move and a friend wants to take over my contract to finish it herself. Since mid-February, I have paid $100 to apply. Periodically she or I would go to the office to get an answer as to whether they could transfer the contract or not. On the 2nd or 3th first visit, they told us that we should wait a little longer. But as time passed, the answers became less convincing. Two men work in this office but, coincidentally, whenever I go there is only one. The one who was on shift told me that my issue was not with his, but rather with his partner (this happened like 3 more times). Seeing that more than a month had passed and we still had no response and, furthermore, we could never contact the agent of our case, last Friday I decided to end the matter. I went to the office, as always, there was only one of them, who had his work desk full of applications, but, surprise, he was playing chess on his phone. This man told me that he couldnt give me an answer because it was his colleague who had my application. I found the solution: ok, Ill wait here in the office until he comes back. When his partner showed up, surprise, the chess player found my application out of nowhere. We had to wait an hour for him to process my application, that is, an hour that I had to practically watch him to do his job, a service for which they charged us 100 dollars and which also consumed a month of coming and going to the office and now was taking an hour of my day off to make sure these people did their jobs. Anyway, after all these bad moments, they told me that my friends application couldnt be processed. But, a few months ago, another friend also tried to take my contract and the response was negative too. So right now I suspect and strongly believe that it is a certainty, that surely with my other friend, they did not even take the time to review their application because, simply, I did not have the ingenuity, the candor, and the good will of stay in the office to encourage them to do their work. The good news is that if you recommend the apartment to someone, they give you $200 in compensation, or at least, thats what they say. I seriously recommend that you recommend this apartment to someone you dont like.
I moved in during corvd19 Im going to give positive feedback to Trisha in the housekeeping she is the best she is kind, pleasant , welcoming, and a great neighbor always smiles very helpful she is a multitasker she cleans the pool, waters the grounds daily, also getting the apartments ready for new residents, ive seen her doing maintenance work. Also John is polite, never rude, also the assistant manager I cant think of his name but he is always helpful. Now the not so positive the building appliances are old . I do have a complaint about a staff member but I dont want to put that person on blast in a review so I will speak to John about that issue, but if that person ever reads reviews on this site please remember no one is Irreplaceable, kindness goes a long way even if you cant do your job correctly or need help dont take it out on the residents we help pay your wages and are part of why you still have a job.
My apartment is infested with roaches. I moved here a month ago and Ive seen lots of roaches since day one.its infested with roaches its like Im living in a nightmare , I get up to go to the restroom at night and when I turn on the lights they are scattered everywhere. Even the pantry and cabinets have roaches and roach poop no matter if I clean it the day before there is still roaches and roaches poop is back again. Ive gotten sick more than four times out of the 3 months Ive been living here. The apartment walls look like they have been painted over multiple times. The doors barely close its not leveled right. My dishwasher keeps leaking it stink really bad. I called multiple times and everytime they try to say its something else. The cabinet Under my sink looks like its caving in. The ceiling looks like they patched something up and just painted over its bulging out. My patio closet was locked and they came to fix it and said there wasnt supposed to be a lock on that door. My husband truck has been broken into and a couple of weeks ago they towed his truck he was parked under the tented car port that didnt have a number which they said was okay. They allow people to have basket ball stands in the middle of the path way i cant push my stroller sometimes without getting on the ege where there us dirt and when it rains its a big puddle of water I have to walk through because of that. They say they have a play ground but its mostly torn down. There is not much space to park so you would have to buy a space. Its ridiculous. I lived in other apartments and never had this happen. Service request take a while to get completed. When it does get complete and I go to check it’s still not fixed. I moved in the first week and they had no a/c working the thermostat was broken. It was really hot and it took them a while to fix it. How do you move someone into an apartment with no working a/c. They also had pest control come out and spray they would come on the coldest days when it would be freezing temperatures at 20 degrees. I remember one day I went to get tacos and came back to my apartment to eat with my children and when we started eating I went to the fridge to get a drink and on my counter was a note left by the pest control service saying they sprayed my house and not to enter. I hurrried up and got my kids out the apartment since it’s toxic. They weren’t even supposed to be scheduled to come that day and the note was supposed to be on the front door but it wasn’t. The pool is never open. When it’s time to move out they charge you for things that don’t match up. They sent me a letter and when I called they told me i was being charged for something else and they kept saying the system was down. They are making up stuff now. These were the most horrible apartments I lived in.
I lived here with my family for about 3/4 years we have seen a lot of management come and go.But making the change In management(John and his whole team )was the best thing they could’ve did for the complex. They are making amazing & positive changes to the complex and the maintenance team is awesome . They have done more positive changes for the complex than any other management team we have had . I was going to leave after my lease was up but once all these changes started taking place I decided to stay and I’m glade I did . I can say they really do care about the tenants and complex . Definitely giving this whole team an A+.
I lived here for almost 3 years and never had any issues until John and his management took over. This man at the end maliciously billed us almost $7000 when we moved out after knowing that my bedroom roof was decaying and had wet spots which was basically caving in. I had no working AC for months and they never shampoo my carpet (after many request) and getting anything fix was a nightmare!! He will speak very ugly to my husband and gave us no resources when we fell behind financially. the apartments and people arent the issue he IS!
I honestly dont understand all the negative reviews! Ive lived here for almost two years now and this has been the best living experience. Tom and Dana are always pleasant and make us feel valued and important. Ive had three maintenance requests in two years and they were each fixed within the next day. The speed bumps are a bit extra, but you just have to drive safely. Sometimes, when the dumpsters get bad, it smells a bit like garbage in the lot near it, but thats to be expected. The grounds always look nice, the pool is well maintained, and the one time we noticed a few bugs in the apartment, the exterminator came and they were gone! Its always quiet and peaceful and I love living here.
Worst apartments ever do yourself a favor and go else where! Dishwasher has been broke since January still not fixed! Also tiles are falling off the shower since January office barely sent a work order to corporate or so they say but we have yet to see work order! Staff is lazy and incompetent. They rather vape in the office than actually work and get things fixed. Run from this place!
Me and my girlfriend chose Foxwood Apartments as our first apartment and lived there for 2 years, it definitely wasnt a terrible experience and both Dana & Tom were very helpful and courteous to us. However we decided not to renew after our 2nd year was up due to various reasons mainly wanting something bigger and a more overall updated apartment etc. Ill say this though, if youre looking for a good starter apartment to where you can feel safe and feel comfortable in as the neighborhood is in a safe and quiet subdivision and where you wont have to pay too much monthly then definitely check these out. Theyre nothing super fancy but Ive also seen much worse than these and also the maintenance guy Francisco is also a really nice guy and hardworking, and was definitely a plus in living here. Literally the only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is the fact again these are outdated apartments to where I wish they had a washer/dryer actually in the units itself as the laundry center can be a pain when so many residents are using it or the malfunctions along with it and just overall the interior needs a major upgrade but again thats not on the leasing agents its the ownership of these apartments not investing enough money into the apartments itself. Although we are enjoying the much upgraded apartment we have now and are excited for the new beginning, were definitely thankful for Foxwood Apartments and both Tom & Dana for letting us make this our first official home. Thanks again for everything guys and take care!
I have been living here for 8 years and let me tell you the staff is very friendly and always helpful. Dana is a very knowledgeable and resourceful and always very friendly. Very quiet neighbors Location is great close to the stores and the airport. not far from hospital or the mall . in between 59 and 45 prices are reasonable and they work with you. when ever i have an issue they are quick to make the repairs or solve the problem. the whole team is GREAT!!
I am so happy I found this place!! The manager Dana was so nice to us from the very first time we called to inquire about the location and for more details about leasing an apartment. We were skeptical to take the drive because of all of the bad reviews but we gave it a try anyways and we are so glad we did. The area was super nice and quiet, the apartment was very nice and clean, great size for the price and they were running an amazing special...we were so lucky we found them. I can’t wait to get my keys. We were leaving and Dana asked us if we wanted some water bottles for our one hour drive back. So, my husband and kids went to the car and I used the restroom before heading out, when I came out, I found a box with some water bottles and snacks for the kids...that was soooo nice of her!!!....By the way, Dana answered all our questions and helped us with all we needed. Again thank you and God bless you!!! We look forward to hearing from you soon!
I was nervous moving in because of bad reviews but my 2 years there was great. The only issue I had was my neighbors above me let there child run and fall all night. It is quiet place go leave and no one hanging out. I did not have any issues with roaches. Every time something was broke it was fix the same day. I had hard life situation hit me but when I talk to the managers it was a bib help. They understood my problem and they help me along the way. I would recommend these apartments to everyone looking.
Foxwood Apartments have an amazing worker name Dana Drews. She really work very hard to help me and my boyfriend get our apartment. She answers any questions you may have. The apartments are very quiet, clean, and friendly. The parking is awesome and if you have any problems with your apartment they fix it very fast.
The reason this apartment complex deserves a low rating is because one they don’t give 2 concerns about what you ask for. I have relatives that have been living there for a year now and they haven’t did anything they’ve asked for. I also ran into the guy that owns the whole property. His attitude and the way he approaches people is very disrespectful. Let alone that he also doesn’t make new incomers feel welcomed. They’ve never called pest control for the people that live there, doesn’t care about the roach situation at long as it’s not them and they charge people so much money just for some nasty mediocre apartments. I’m sorry to say this but living would not be worth it nor is it worth spending so much money on.
I moved in in January after selling the house Id owned for 35 years. Foxwood is an older complex that shows its age, but improvements are ongoing, and the grounds are clean and well kept. I like my apartment and my neighbors. The complex is fenced and gated. There is only one entrance. The management and maintenance folks are friendly, responsive and present. I like it here, have recommended it, and will continue to.
Great location, and thats about the only good thing I can say about foxwood homes . In the 5 years weve been in this house we had to replace the water heater that partially flooded the master bathroom, replaced the garbage disposal, had the AC serviced last year and now were going to have to have it serviced again because its sweating so bad that our living room ceiling has water stains and now the roof is leaking in the game room.I honestly had less trouble with the mobile home we lived in before this place.
I have lived in the community since September/2015.It has been a very pleasant and unexpected experience since reviews are not good and driving by never really called my attention.I drove by the complex months but only a craigslist add brought me into the community to buy something and I got to see the atmosphere.Very very quite, grounds are pretty clean and taken care of, plenty of lighting around parking lots and plenty of parking spaces available, even some covered ones free of charge on a first come first serve basis.I havent meet a lot of neighbors but the few around me are very quite, nice and all seem like decent working people. The apartments are older and I would say the playground could use some remodeling/fixing up or even additional stuff, in general dont expect luxury, but to me, being safe and having peace for an affordable price is the main thing. My unit was was clean and ready before I expected for move in.Manager is very very friendly and requests are always attended to fast.I would totally recommend Foxwood apartments and Im ready to renew my lease.
This is the worst most disgusting complex I have ever lived in. Our toilet is crooked, I havent gone a day without seeing at least 5 roaches even after so many pest control visits they painted the counters and walls without noticing that they painted over nasty hair and other things that is now permanently in the wall. I had water damage.... Reported it..... 6 months later had to report it again and they fixed it by painting over the water stain and nothing else. SAVE YOURSELF STRESS AND MONEY AND DO NOT MOVE HERE
The staff is amazing! They have a positive attitude and are very helpful.
These apartments are FULL OF ROACHES AND GNATS! Even flees! IF YOU HAVE LIKE ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER CHOICE PLEASE GO TO A SHELTER! BUT seriously! Please think twice! The playground is COMPLETELY DANGEROUS! Its made of old rotting wood that could give your child splinters. I complained constantly about roaches and about the stove that had roaches crawling IN AND OUT OF IT! THEY NEVER BROUGHT ME A NEW OVEN. I WAS WITHOUT A WORKING OVEN FROM MAY TO AUGUST. They had to removed the dishwasher because of roaches and it was so completely disgusting (I have pictures), that I never used the new one. The one bedroom is completely over priced. The lady in the office she will go in your apartment without notice or your consent. I have proof of that too! These people are janky! Thomas is gonna show you this apartment he is fixing up to convince you that you are going to be taken care of, and that he will soon be renovating the other apartments. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. My husband had a real exterminator come spray and WHEN I tell you there were dead roaches EVERYWHERE.. LIKE WE COULDNT WALK BARE FOOT IN THE APARTMENT. There were roaches in the sofas and my brand new microwave. I TOOK nothing with me, not even food in the fridge or cabinets. I threw away my dishes, pots, pans.. everything. The reviews like this gets erased. Do not believe the reviews. It is quiet there. I had a nasty neighbor that would pile weeks of trash on her balcony smh. Just DISGUSTING. THANK YOU GOD FOR GETTING US AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! PAY THE EXTRA $300 A MONTH AND FIND YOU A LUXURY APARTMENT! WE DEFINITELY DID!
No issues or problems since Ive moved in and the staff is very nice and friendly
The manager Jon and Shawn i absolutely love they are the best when it comes to looking out for residents and just all around good people to have at the front office oh yeah bye I live here too !! Me and my son feel very welcomed and concerns are met with work order of course !
Please make sure to take pictures of the apartment and save them because if you don’t have prove you will pay for any damages in the future. My apartment was not 100% clean when I rented and when I left they charge me for the carpet eventhought the carpet was not new when I got it, but since I didn’t save the pictures I had to pay for it.
Great location love that its near the airport.Friendly staff.
This place is the worst. Place has odor outsides. Roaches and rats. Speed bumps that can destroy a tank. There is dog crap everywhere. Tom the manager is extremely rude. The playground is extremely dangerous made with shredded tires. Please stay away at all cost
Put a service request for my a/c not working since the morning and supposedly someone was gonna show up that day that i even told my wife to stay home. I called and called and as always they said somebody was gonna come come 4pm and i called said somebody had already fixed it my wife was home all day nobody had gone. I called and said somebody had already had gone and fixed it but then i called the office and said somebody had gone and knocked and nobody was home wich my wife had been their the whole day but yet it was fixed and another story said nobody open. For me is just a somebody is going today or atleast just tell me nobody made it their today but will tomorrow as soon as possible.
FIrst of all, i have lived here for over a year and there hasent been a day where i havent seen a party of roches in the kitchen they come out the charging outlets the carpet lightswitch cabnets walls its crazy and extremely scary, one time i left my dogs food out and by the morning rats and rouches ate my dogs food along with the container it was in all we saw was little bits of food and container material, the balcony is extremely dirty the outside was full of trash, empty water bottles, diapers, old shoes, food, pads, tampons, all sorts of nasty stuff the mangement group is horribly and super mean the pool is always closed and even when its open they always find a excuse to close it the park is dirty and old af and they dont thet the teens hangout around the park without parental supervison the carpet is extremely dirty and one time we had a water leak at my house and we had to fik it as best as we could until the mangement came which was 3 days after it happened would to reccomend for anyone i am moving to a 4 bedrooms bath home for rent for the same price but much better of course. DONT COME BE AWARE HORIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE UGLY NASTY AND TRASHY.
Apartment above mine flooded. They came in and changed out the outlets in my apartment but left the ceiling brown along with wholes for the last two months i lived there. You could see the water stains running down the walls. Yet they are still trying to charge me for the carpets in the apartment.
By far the most welcoming manager I’ve met. The property is beautiful and you can tell that they genuinely care about not only current residents, but future as well! Can’t wait to move in!!
Went to the office at 9 a.m. to report my air conditioner was out. They fixed and I had cold air again same day. Prompt service and friendly staff
This place is great. To me these bad reviews are from people who couldnt pay and skipped out. I love the managers, they are kind and treat people with respect. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Humble.
Almost 2 months having issues with A/C, and they havent fixed, water leaking from the a/c the carpet got wet and the wall got mold. Real bad experience!
NO HOT WATER (FOR 3 WEEKS...3 WEEKS!!!), CANT WALK OUTSIDE WITHOUT SEEING AND SMELLING SOMEONES PET CRAP. I PATIENTLY WAITED FOR THINGS TO CHANGE BEFORE REVIEWING BUT IF I CAN SPARE ONE SOUL FROM THIS MADNESS I WILL. WHILE THEY KEEP THE POOL CLOSED NEARLY YEAR ROUND, JACK UP RENT PRICES, CHARGE FOR BS PARKING SPOTS... AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE AND PRAY FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER. I DONT WANT TO IMAGINE WHERE SOME OF THESE PEOPLE WITH POSITIVE RATINGS CAME FROM.4/14/16 Update- Since complaining to management not much has changed...except now my water pressure is almost gone and my login to file complaints does not work anymore.....4/26/16 Update- Water pressure is down again and I still cant login to pay my bills smh...In response to manage I have this to say... Sounds good on Google
Omg what a horrible services, once your contract is expiring and they will turn their faces on services and become extra rude and unprofessional..seems like they are not educated at all, out of 12 months in an year 9 months & above swimming pool is closed, when you call for roaches spray and ask them to put solid gel instead of liquid spray as it doesnt work he will clearly say TO BUY YOUR OWN
Thank God I read this reviews before taking the decision of applying for Foxwood Apartments.
I had a very bad experience the manager s are very bad as they does not do there job and when we want there height ma agent contact they will not give you .both of them has taken lot of my money ...... if any one can give me the higher management contacting number or email I want to talk to them what they are doing and how they giving problems to the tenants as tenants does not have axis to any one other then theses two persons.
So thankful for a clean quiet apartment! And they work with you! Love the office!
Alex was very helpful! I am new to the area and she made me feel very welcomed and at home!! She was extremely informative as well!
Been living here a little over 2 years and its been peaceful. Any time we have an issue Dana quickly helps resolve it. She is very sweet and has puppy snacks when my pup and I pick up a package from the office.
Maintenance is quick and the grounds always look great. 👌🏼
Nice location. Excellent staff! Great service!
I dont know why my baby mama has a daughter over there
Friendly staff who responds to situations quickly.
Roaches ahhhh
Finally we arrived at a beautiful, cheap place, and in a good area... with a worker who was professional, respectful, and eager to work and help a costumer. As soon as we called, he attended to us with joy and without excuses or attitude. Miss Dana was very kind and treated us without racism or contempt. I am very grateful and happy to have found Foxwood Apartments!! Thanks for the attention and the opportunity. Everything nice, clean, and quiet. The perfect apartment, lots of space and everything beautiful!! Security control and full parking to avoid the problem of almost all apartment complexes in Houston, parking!!
