11.13.24 I will be moving here soon, so far so good. The application process was not long they do ask for ALOT but its no biggie get them what they need and youll be in your home in no time. Brittany toured me to see the apartment and they were nice and spacious. They actually have a special going on right about now. The girl at the front desk I dont want to spell her name wrong she is amazing very attentive and professional. She gets the job done. I will update once I move in my apartment.1 month check in: Roaches everywhere, my husband and I spent over 100$ in products to get rid of them. MAINTENANCE is lazy and do not know how to fix anything in the units. Front office never answer the phones. They did a terrible job painting the apartment, we had to stay in our unit with a hole in our apartment. The unit has a smell in there I cant describe like mildew. Had to call corporate just to get things DONE!!! The closets are infested with roaches as well. The only good thing about staying here is you can save because the rent is cheape. After my lease up Im leaving. Oh yeah, there is trash everywhere in the apartments, neighbors are nasty. Kids every where cursing being disrespectful. The apartments are infested with roaches. DO NOT COME HERE!!! SOON AS YOU GET HERE YOU WILL WANT TO LEAVE THE NEXT DAY. Only person that ever helped was PAULA!!!12/30/2024: I have been calling the office since December 18th and still NO ANSWER!!2/23/25: Internet box for this unit was messed up and Xfinity had to come out to fix it.WE HAD NO INTERNET FOR MONTHS. Also 3 weeks ago some kids stole my packages from my door. I even had a doorbell camera they still stole it. Also these walls are paper thin you can hear everyone conversation and also IF YOU MOVE ON THE FIRST FLOOR BE PREPARED TO HEAR ALL THE NEIGHBORS STOMPING. THE PARKING LOTS FLOODS EVEN IF IT RAINS FOR A FEW HOURS. Everytime I LOOK UP THE POLICE IS IN THESE APARTMENTS. THE PRICE IS CHEAP HERE YES BUT PAY THAT Extra MONEY TO STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU CAN CALL HOME.

Went in for a tour and had a great interaction with Ms. Zakheya (not sure if her name was is spelled correctly sorry) she’s very professional and has great energy. I also asked a young man who also worked there about the neighborhood and he gave very good feedback. Really considering moving in, thank you Mr. Darren. 😊

I lived at Pinewood Apartments since 2020, I stated to the apartment manager that clearly changes every 3 months that I will not be renewing my lease. They are still charging me rent as of now (11/1/2024) and I been moved in September. I don’t understand!! I call and can’t get in contact with anyone hopefully this review will get their attention!! It’s ghetto, the roaches are horrible, people getting killed, cars getting stolen and broken into, fence never worked the pool been closed since I moved in, it’s affordable that’s it but with a cost of your morals and values. They also give you the run around when something need the fixed my refrigerator was leaking for months and they sent someone out probably 3 months later he didn’t do anything because it still was leaking and it’s probably still leaking since I’m gone. Just throw the whole apartment complex in the trash management and all!Updated post-(12/13/2024)I received a call from someone name Jerri ( must be new) they change every 3 months, stating that I had court on the 10th of December that I missed and I had till the 17th to move, clearly this has to be a joke! I been moved and left the key in September so y’all took me to eviction court 3 months later! It seems as though they are trying to railroad me at this point, I didn’t renew my lease in October, so how? I will be getting me a lawyer!

My car was broken into less than 3 weeks ago and they attempted to steal it, causing hundreds of dollars in damage. This morning I come out to find that they have taken a brick to my window AGAIN! And it’s on camera! Not that the property owners placed any on site, rather I purchased my own and have it pointing directly towards the parking lot. Who has the money to pay for these unforeseen damages constantly?! Certainly not a single mother! I filed a police report the first time and gave it to the office and will be by on Monday with the latest one. I was told by the corporate representative who was the only person in the office today that there’s nothing they can do and maybe consider parking my car somewhere else. I’m raising a disabled child ALONE and this living situation causes so much extra stress that I can’t afford or handle. And for the love of God PLEASE REPAIR THE FENCING AROUND THE POND! WATCH THE NEWS !!!! THESE AUTISTIC CHILDREN ARE DROWNING!!!

These apartments is so unprofessional and unorganized. I applied for these apartments in June with Greg whom was so professional but when he left it was hell. I went through 5 agents and as of September i was still not in the apartment.So i decided to go somewhere else especially after I seen someone got shot here.Ria is never in the office dont let it rain no one goes to work. They had the wrong apartment number on my housing voucher. It was such a mess that housing did a DNL because they couldnt reach nobody to correct the paperwork. When i applied for the apartment 2 tenants told me not too. Especially after Greg left, the cleaning person left and the receptionist. Oh FYI Im still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. Everyone passing the buck. Run from here before you move in and regret it later.

I don’t usually write reviewed but I will this time . I currently live in Louisiana and I’ve been wanting to move to Texas . I came across this property off of an app and had called the office to see if I was able to schedule a date for me to tour and maybe apply. We had set an appointment date for a Friday for 10am. I had travelled 6 hours from out of state on Thursday hoping to tour the apartment the next day . The next day which was Friday morning, I had went to the apartment complex and the office was closed. I did not receive no phone calls or no emails stating they were going to be closed . I had spent money on a hotel , called off of work 2 days and waste gas for literally nothing !

If I could give 0 stars I would . The office staff is very unprofessional. The property manager is never on the property, I have yet to receive my deposit back . When calling about an update I’m told that there’s no info that can be provided. Asked for corporate office phone number, I was told by staff she didn’t have that information. If I’m not refunded soon I will be filing legal charges against this company. If you are smart don’t waste your time nor money at this place . I shouldn’t have paid a deposit up front without an application not even being processed yet this is against the le and it will be reported to the proper authorities. This place has some type of Ponzi scheme going on.

My touring experience was incredible. The staff was great especially Ellie Sanchez, she made me feel comfortable and was quick to answer my questions.

I have been getting the run around about my deposit it has almost been more than 20 days which I was told 15-20 days you never know what people have going on or whatever just nonsense it didn’t take 15-20 days for y’all too take the money out…. I have done that called and emailed I will just find a way to go to small claims court

I meet with the leasing agreement, Tatiana, she was great to work with. I had a ton of questions and Tatiana was professional, patient, she greeted me with a smile and has a pleasant personality. I also meet the Assistant Manager (forgive me, I cant remember his name) who is was also very professional, patent, and they both were personable. I was put at ease, provided a tour and the apartment was lovely; just what I am looking for. I think I am going to enjoy living here. I recommend Pinewood.

I have never had to wait 3 months for my ac unit to be fixed . They are just now 3 days ago ordering a part that has been needed. My daughter had asthma and it’s been 85 and up in my unit … no one knows what do me and my kids have been suffering everyday

Everyone here is so nice and sweet. Brittany was so helpful highly recommend coming to her anything.

Pinewood staff has been amazing with assisting me since the day I applied to move in. Greg was a great assistance with the move in process, Rhiya is great with making sure residents needs are met as well as Greg, Tatiana was a friendly as well. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone.

Beware of these shady rental properties. I applied to this complex in November was required to pay a 300.00 deposit to apply. I was denied 3 days after applying. Told me a refund would take 30 days. I have left several messages on office voicemail no call back. It’s now mid February and I still have not received a callback or a refund. So I guess I’ll be see y’all in small claims court in the coming days.Update spoke with 3 different people on three different occasions and still no refund.

I just moved in September 2023 and when my lease is up I am running and never coming back !! I have been having the worst experience since I have been here I am a single mom living paycheck to paycheck. My first few weeks here someone tried entering in my apartments after a month here I got my AirPods promax stolen that are not cheap either !! Last month I had my front license plate stolen and this month all 3 of my tires to my truck were sliced. I just paid rent and now I am having to come up with money to fix these tires cause I need my vehicle it’s the only one I have. Apartment office don’t do nothing when I call but say to go up with a police report after all of this I need a damn half off from my rent !! Too much things are happening here where I’m having to take out from my own pocket and still pay 1350 on time !! Having to buy some new headphone which I haven’t yet cause like I said it’s not cheap and I’ve been having those for about 3-4 years, having to buy a new license plate take off from work to make it to the courthouse and now having to pay for 3 tires on a GMC YUKON that turned out to be 240$ come on Pinewood DO BETTER cause I won’t be paying full rent next month with everything I’ve been having to go through only being here 5 months !!! DO NOT MOVE HERE !!Update - Had to call police last night to make a police report on all that’s been happening since I’ve been here and they advised me that just last year one of residents here got shot in the face by his neighbor with a shot gun and died !! If I would’ve knew these apartments were like this I would’ve never moved in !! There’s a new property manager every 3-5 months and I got no help from the new property manager and I got told was “crime can happen anywhere” BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU ARE THINKING OF MOVING HERE !!June 29th a neighbor was shot and killed, look it up on Abc13 news May he rest in peace 🙏🏻 not the first homicide here, be careful

So this the second night I come home and my building 500 outside has no lights unacceptable it’s very dangerous to walk in a dark cave and not have fear of being assaulted so I contacted my caseworker at housing so if lord forbid I am attacked I’ll have a great case I hate to be this person but the maintenance team or the front office must don’t care until it’s too late. I wanted to feel safe but I don’t I ask a month ago about the fire extinguishers I was told ooh it’s about six of them in the fountain so that’s why I don’t feel safe I could get assaulted or burn up what a way to live

If I could give 0 I would!!!! The reviews on here has to be fake! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Extremely ghetto, always have new managers, roaches, cars get breaking into & the teens that are doing it still live here! They dont fix anything. Only thing good about it is we have washer and dryers. The pool is never open & neither is the gym. The new manager has a OH WELL attitude. Does not care about anything or even bother to help. Just dont do it.

The apartments are a decent size is the only thing good about the apartments. Nothing gets fixed and the owners do not care that nothing gets fixed. As long as they get their rent payments thats all that matters. No one answers emergency maintenance calls, no one fixes fire hazard. Everything is on back order or either they are short staffed is the reasoning whenever I ask about things getting fixed. Not to mention they are cheaply made so there is no quietness because you can hear and feel everything thats going on in the apartment above you. The rent increased but somehow the residents still cant get a decent maintenance team. The price and size of the apartments were the only things they had going for themselves. How do you raise the rent over $100 but I still have work requests that have not been fixed from 3-4 months ago. I have told everyone in the office and all the maintenance people that I have a fire hazard and have had one for about 4 months now and it is STILL NOT FIXED. Just excuse after excuse is all I receive. If I had the means to move I definitely would have by now.

The staff has NO CONCERN FOR ANYONES SAFETY! Cars stolen, windows broken, fences broken, their own property damaged, and people being shot and killed ON the property. Theyve done nothing at all to protect the people THAT PAY to live there. Its all on public record so they cant deny any of this.

Didn’t have the worst experience here, the apartment itself was fine but communication was very selective and they only ever replied to stuff they wanted to and ignore you about anything else. Not only did they not give me any sort of repayment in any form for the fact that they wrongfully towed my car which not only cost my hundreds to get out of the tow yard but made me hours late for work which also cost me money, but upon moving out and leaving the apartment in just as good condition as we received it, I have been ignored when requesting information about them returning my security deposit.

This new off staff is amazing especially Mrs.Bernell. (Ms. B). She has been exceptional when it comes to making sure things are getting done. It’s a blessing to have her someone who is willing to work with the community and for the community. Thanks Ms. B for everything!

Ive been here over 5 years. Im content as of now. Keep up the good work. The only thing is I am very cautious when I leave out my home, because of the stray dogs. The breezeways and steps could be cleaned without rent being raised. Thanks 🙏

I have been living over here for 3 years & it started off good during the pandemic but it’s gotten worse as time have gone on. I’ve put countless work orders in over the past year & nobody has fixed anything or even came out to look at anything. The office is never open & they never answer the phone. The pool hasn’t been open the entire time I’ve stayed here. Also, for some reason I was not informed that I wouldn’t be able to use my mailbox & now I have to pick my mail up from the post office. I plan on moving soon because I have no faith that it will get better. If I could give this place negative stars then I would.

Mrs. Bernell was amazing in helping me to get into my new apartment. The team here is nice over the phone and in person.My apartment is amazing. What I paid for a two bedroom, I pay for a three bedroom flat rate.

Great community, Faith is very attentive compassionate and understanding there was some lack of communication between other staff but she is definitely the star of the show. There are some improvements that can be made but overall a great place!Update: Maintenance doesnt exist and good luck with contacting the office. The grounds are disgusting trash everywhere including the walls along the stairs. When I said improvements that was an understatement. The community seems to be diminishing fast

I just moved into the apartment this month. I love the atmosphere. FAITH is the star of the show. She deserves every raise and opportunity this company has to offer. She made the moving process warm and inviting. I am forever grateful that she was the person to help my family with this experience.

If I could give no stars I mostly definitely would office managers change constantly maintenance does absolutely nothing the bare minimum god forbid it’s something that really needs to be fixed your most definitely going to be waiting 6months to a year apartments are ghetto all the way around cars getting broke into power is always out as soon as the wind blows and I’ve only been here a year smh do your self a favor and jus bypass the whole area .

I’ve been here since last year and I love it! It’s really quiet and everyone keeps to themselves. Ms. Tranisha has been very helpful with everything. I had to temporarily relocate units due to issues from the Winter Storm but she made the transition as smooth as it could’ve been. I am now in a new unit that has been upgraded with new stainless steel appliances!! I definitely recommend moving here if you love peace and quiet.

I was really looking forward to moving to these apartments but I was told I make over the amount for 1 applicant. Not to mention I wasted my time going to the apartments signing papers and a bunch of other bs. They would call me every week about my payslips not matching up and finally when I resend all my information over the right way now they decide to tell me I make too much. I put in my monthly income way before I even stepped foot in the leasing office. Long story short they gave me the run around and it definitely was miscommunication through this whole process.

Just moved into these apartments. So far it seems pretty peaceful throughout the community. The application process was a bit lengthy, but the staff was really great about keeping me updated on everything. Tranisha (the Apartment Manager) is great at what she does! I bugged her and the office staff nearly EVERY day (lol). However, each individual always displayed professionalism and kindness each time we spoke. I feel pretty confident about my decision to move here and am looking forward to living here in my new home! Big thanks to the office staff for putting up with my annoying and persistent calls! Lol :)

Idk the man’s name that works in the office, but he was very professional and nice. The women in there on the other hand are very unwelcoming, dry and rude. I went there for a application during the summer, so I’m not sure if he still works there but he was the only NICE person in the office. The women just have nappy wigs and bad attitudes smh. How you gon have a attitude with a messed up wig! Despite the bad customer service I will give them there props and say the apartments look exactly like the pictures with nice automatic locks so that’s a plus and they come with a washer & dryer. My cousin lives here, that’s why I wanted to live here and the insides are nice, just don’t like SOME of the staff.

These apartments are great. I love the small community and I love the staff. Every encounter with the office staff has been pleasant. I wish I could give the full 5 stars. But maintenance has been an issue. My refrigerator has been barely working since 09/2020. It constantly leaks on the inside and on the outside. So I have to constantly keep it dry with a mop and/or towels and then having to go to the laundry mat multiple times in order to keep up with the towels. I’m not able to keep any fresh vegetables or fruit in there a full 5 days. A few times when it just stopped getting cold it’s ruined milk and other foods. And 3 times, it has completely ruined basically all groceries in fridge mostly but sometimes the freezer as well. Without touching the temp it gets super cold And freezes everything including all the water all over the freezer or sometimes it stops freezing. All together , I’ve had to throw away hundreds of dollars in groceries . After I mentioned it to maintenance , they came and disconnected my ice maker . I figured I would sacrifice ice if it meant I would stop having to throw out food and stop the leaking. Fridge still leaks on the inside and all in the inside on top of all of the food. It’s been months, I always pay my rent on time, there’s never any issues from me. Yet I’m going into my 5th month with a broken refrigerator. I’ve called the office a few times about it, and I was told that someone would get to it, but again it’s been months. I left home for 2 days and I came back and seen that maintenance had dropped by unexpectedly one day. I got excited until I learned that absolutely nothing was done with to the fridge . I asked maintenance why someone came unexpectedly just to do nothing. Maintenance told me . “Well I came and took a look at your fridge and you need a new one”. As if I hadn’t been practically begging for someone to fix the broken one. This was months ago. Someone even provided me with the maintenance regional manager Minneapolis number. But I don’t understand why I have to be redirected to a maintenance manager for a refrigerator. Yes, I complained about having to throw away groceries. But I was hoping to get assistance from maintenance right here in Humble not a manager in Minneapolis.So in all . I do love my apartment. I love the area. Everyone is friendly. All of the office staff are all good people with good vibes. They made my move in a very easy and pleasant transition. I definitely still recommend this place to others. My only complaint is the broken refrigerator. And having to throw out groceries.

Absolutely love our new apartment. The office staff have been fantastic. We had a couple hiccups during the move-in process due to the ongoing renovations. Hiccups happen in life, its all about how you handle them.The professionalism of the entire staff was top notch. Tranisha, Gail and Tyiesha took excellent care of us. Once our lease was signed and we moved in, they STILL were kind, attentive and helpful. The renovations are amazing. Brand new everything, and the color of the walls (tan?) is warm and inviting. My place is my happy little oasis. Im glad we moved here.

Horrible 1st impression! I drove an hour to come to my appointment! I was on time at that. The manager Traneisha was absolutely too lazy to walk us to tour the apartment. She stated, “I’m the only one in the office and the apartment to show is not close.” So that clearly let me know that she just didn’t want to walk to show us. I even asked her if she could lock the door and show us really quickly & she kept stating, “I’m done with showing tours for the day.” It was just just such an inconvenience. I took off work just for this & I clearly had an appointment. If you just wanted to sit down for the day, just say that.

Getting in, faith was a big help and very professional . BUT after moving in everything is going downhill the office is ALWAYS closed and they never answer the phone. Also things are always having to be fixed and it takes maintenance days to come. And on top of that we can’t even use our mailboxes at the moment I won’t even tell you why.

I don’t like the fact that I kept getting hung up on while trying to gather more information about the apartment application requirements and application. She hung up the first time understandable but, to keep hanging up is unprofessional if I can’t ask you about the apartment without you hanging up I can only imagine if I actually lived here. Customer service isn’t good and needs improvement.

I HAVE COMPLAIN 4 TIMES MY HUSBAND TRUCK HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO 4 TIMES , I HAVE TALK TO RIAH AND SHE STATED SHE WAS JUST “ SORRY “ THIS MORNING AT 1 OR 2 IM PULLING IN TO PARK MY CAR WHEN MY SON , COUSIN & I SEEN TWO MALES LOOK LIKE TEENAGERS OR ADULTS WITH HOODIES ON BREAKING INTO CARS OVER HERE THEY BROKE INTO MY COUSIN CAR AND MY NEIGHBOR AND 1018 CAR AS WELL I SEEN THEM WALKING AROUND MY BUILDING AND THEY STANDING AT MY BACK WINDOW I CAN HEAR THEM MUMMBLING ABOUT SOMETHING AND WALK TOWARDS THE OFFICE AND IF YALL GOT CAMERAS YALL CAN SEE THEM WALK PASS THE OFFICE GOING TO THE OTHER SIDE ! BEEN TOLD TO INFORM THE POLICE THAT DONT HELP I CALLED THE POLICE NO ONE NEVER CAME OUT TO SPEAK TO ME I TALK TO THE OFFICE LADY NOTHING IS NEVER RESOLVED IM PISSED OFF, PEOPLE WORK TO HARD FOR THEY STUFF FOR THESE PEOPLE TO BE AROUND HERE BREAKING INTO OUR THINGS ! LIKE WHERE IS OUR SECURITY AT FIRST THEY HAD HOUSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT AFTER THE KILLING OVER HERE THEY GOT SECURITY NOW WE DONT HAVE SECURITY NOMORE THIS HAS TO BE STOPPED !

I went in today and did my application process. Faith is the best ever and I cant wait to move in. She answered all my questions and provided with as much information about the property as she could. Its quiet in the apartments and the remolding in the units is AMAZING !!! GREAT PLACE TO CALL HOME !!!!

Just wanted to say I am love love loving the managment hear at Pinewood! TraNisha and the other staff members are very tentative to me as a resident and property is well kept as well. I love this place so much that i referred my family to the complex as well and they have been welcomed with open arms and the same care Ive received since May. If youre looking for a great family friendly property you wont be disappointed.

The experience was long but worth it. A huge shout out and Thank you goes to Ms. Gonzales. She helped me every step of the way. We talked almost everyday with my movein. She never gave up on helping me and my daughter. She also made sure that my apt was up to her standards. I really appreciate all of her hard work and efforts.Another huge shout out goes to Ms. Shun. From the first phone call with her i knew that this is where i needed to be. During this COVID 19 pandemic that didnt stop her form helping me and making sure that i had everything that i needed.The whole office staff is wonderful and thank them for all there hard work as well

Faith was so sweet even though it was a lot going on .. loved the 2 & 3 bedrms hopefully I will soon be a tenant

I recently visited Pinewood Apartments and I loved the two bedroom that I looked at. Ammy was very knowledgeable about the product, explained all of the amenities that was offered without me asking as she was both professional and personable. I love the lake that they have and are excited about the new features that will be offered in the future. Pinewood Apartments has the best deal in the area. Thank you Ammy for making my decision easier.

These apartments are straight trash and all these reviews has to be fake. Go on apartmentratings.com and read the real reviews . They are over priced, trash always piled up. Moving from there was the best thing that ever happened to me. They are deleting all of the bad reviews.

These apartments are stealing from the tenants that had the rent relief saying that the rent relief didnt go through and are evicting their tenants for non-payment of rent.. they are literally messing over there tenants that was impacted by covid and had got help from the rent relief they are stealing the funds from the tenants. And they are fixing the system so it can show that they didnt comply. Im thinking of seriously calling channel 13 or passing this on to Emily Aiken because its not right and then when we go in there to talk to them they give us the runaround and b******* us

I love my new home , Faith always makes sure my work orders get done and never hesitates to help , I know they don’t have maintenance right now but it really seems like they’re trying to build the property back up

I moved here a couple of months ago and haven’t had a single issue. Tranisha is awesome and she helps in whatever way u need. Also it’s very quiet. Would definitely recommend moving here.

Don’t move here. Cars are broken into and completely stolen. Multiple times. Gates never work. Gun shots and more . Nice apartments in the inside . That’s it . It’s not safe here .
