Maintenance is good, only one person of the management and office is good, thank you Brenda for all of your hard work. Pool was closed most of the time in the summer, during our one year stay. Loud noise in the summer after 10pm during quiet times. I have seen couple of cars on bricks which is not safe, cars are being damaged, no safety cameras. Towing is bad, no communication on that and you have to pay every time there is a mistake with towing your car, even if it’s not our fault.
Nice complex good maintenance crew . The one star for the management not really cooperative they said they take care of what you wants but they don’t, I had tow times my car got towed even I have the stickers and the registration when I went to them the second time the First Lady was so nice and told me my car it’s in the system but when she told the manager lady she played with the words and she denied I ask to show me the computer screen she didn’t give me straight answer and started giving me attitude she was unprofessional at all , on the moving date I painted the apartment and changed some of the old lights and ask her to check if she can check the apartment before I give the keys back,, oh god she took a pictures in certain ways with the sun lights and shadows to make it looks bad I asked to email me the pictures she said that their system down I asked her to text me the pictures she said she can’t give her number . And she knew this is my last day on the lease , after a while I convinced her to let me take a pictures of the pictures on her phone. I went back and compared those pictures to the wall and wondered about the way she did take those pictures, however I took pictures of the same spots and call her she sent a nice lady that was shocked on her face because there is nothing wrong with the apartment and they only charged me for stove cleaning. I would give 5 stars for that young nice lady on the front desk she’s super nice and professional
This is somewhere I’ve been very interested in moving too, but that towing is a non- negotiable. Nobody should ever have to pay rent and worry about the safety of their vehicle. A lot of apartments do that in Houston trying to push you to pay additional cost for parking instead of assigning a parking spot to every apartment. I hope they cancel the contract they have with the towing company because no hard working individual wants to live like that
God awful apartment, I’m frustrated and this review is going to show it my lease isn’t even up and I can’t wait to leave. My own car had been towed after living here for over a year, I’ve done everything correctly and still get a $200 punishment and for what? On top of the towing I came back from work one morning after using my wife’s car and found my own cars door opened slightly when I went to check it was broken into and the glove compartment was also broken open, thank god no valuables were left in the car. My cousin car was also towed after only visiting for less than AN HOUR!? How?? Registrations are a joke cause now my family is too scared to come visit me unless I go pick them up and come back. What a joke I feel horrible for the amount of cars I’ve seen on bricks after having their tires stolen multiple times and how sad is it that one of the residents cars I’ve seen on bricks also left a review about it not long ago and got no help. The pools never opened, the gates are always breaking, and the “Valet trash” doesn’t come every night how disappointing is it that I pay $30+ for that fee and see my trash hasn’t been taken half the time when I come back from work in the mornings and have to do it myself. The management doesnt care and lies all the time about not “receiving” emails or calls, I don’t have personal experience with the old management but my brother used to live here 3 years ago and never complained until the end of his lease after management had been changed so it’s much easier to believe all the other reviews complaining about the exact same problem that I now experienced with them. It has gotten to the point where I don’t care to go and report problems anymore because why would I? They are never resolved and if they are it takes a lot of effort to resolve and sadly I don’t think they ever will until management is replaced. I will not recommend living here at all I would be GLAD to give my hard earned money to another apartment. If my review is ever taken down I’ll just submit it again. AND NO @STONEGROVEFALLCREEK(owner) DONT ASK FOR A REPLY UNLESS YOURE GONNA SEND ME MONEY FOR THE COMPENSATION OF MY CAR BEING TOWED DO YOU JOB BETTER “OWNER”
My friend visited me for the first time and from the time he parked until he found my apartment his car was towed. Mind you available visitors parking is in the back of the complex so if you live towards the front it’s a walk to get to the actual apartment. Within 8 mins of his arrival his car was towed. The tow truck rides around waiting for cars to park in the visitors spot and run their plates as soon as they leave knowing the car possibly hasn’t been registered yet. By the time he found my apartment and I registered his car it was already being towed. The complex isn’t even half full there’s plenty of parking since everyone is moving out whenever you come to where they can ease up on the towing but anything for a quick buck. Now my friend is out of 200$ because he got lost trying to find my apartment.
Moving to Stonegrove was a fantastic choice. The staff is attentive and genuinely cares about our needs. They recently updated the parking rules, which has been a significant improvement. Now, I have a convenient spot right in front of my apartment, especially helpful when Im carrying groceries. Previously, spaces were often occupied by vehicles that remained stationary for long periods. I wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live. The events they organize are also a wonderful bonus!
I choose the StoneGrove community as my home because of the Absolute superb job done by the architects and developers in designing this community.Staffing, to include the maintenance team are absolutely on point in addressing the residents needs and concerns. The property is extremely well lid at night and the security gate is always functioning. To add to the security level, they also have a patrolling officer both mobile and on foot patrol.
Apartments themselves are nice, adequate space including the closets. Dog park door is busted and sometimes hard to get out. Pool has been closed the entire summer with very little communication on the matter. The lights were broken and instead of just having it closed at night, they had it closed throughout summer. Now the filter is broken and only found out by going multiple times to the front office. In general, pretty lackluster communication from the office and almost non existent community activities. Some trash scattered about the complex and guest parking is a hassle. By all mean not terrible apartments but for the price we pay, multiple things shouldnt be broken all the time and the speed to fix them shouldnt take so long. Currently the pool is closed for 4th of July which is a crazy bummer and very inconvenient.
Worst apartments I’ve lived in if I can give 0 stars I would , I lived here for about 9 months now . I went to work one morning and came out to my vehicle on bricks the office never returned my phone calls! Made a police report nobody returned my phone calls nobody cares. Told office I was bringing rent in and once my friend dropped off the check they said they filled for eviction so I would have to pay those extra fees because they didn’t communicate with each other. Then lastly I recently started getting mold in my apartment let the office know and Melinda was very rude and condescending. Kept interrupting me while I was speaking saying it was mildew and not mold before she even seen it. A lot of my personal items have mold on them I had to put a stuffed animal on the balcony and apparently cats are living on the balcony and now they want to charge me for the cats. I don’t own any pets none of my issues have been addressed I’m having to throw out my headboard and 5 pairs of shoes due to the mold in the apartment. All Melinda wants to do is go back and forth arguing with me instead of giving a resolution. I’ve attempted multiple times to call corporate and no one returns calls just keep leaving multiple voicemails DO NOT MOVE HERE . For the price you can find something that is more luxury. The gates are also always broken pool has been closed for a month .
I’m going on my second year but would not have renewed if I was a person who had consistent visitors. My friends are afraid to visit because of the restrictions on visitor parking. I have to visit them. The amenities would be nice if the pool actually was ever open. Only one visitor per lease holder when it is open. I have 4 grandchildren that would love to splash.I don’t like a lot of company and like the quiet nature of the property but it’s a lot of hassle if you’re a person who needs companionship.I don’t know how many random emails I receive requesting the same information that is in the lease agreement. Can we opt out? Living here is starting to feel like confinement.
Don’t do it ! If you plan on having any visitors EVER, reconsider moving here. Parking for visitors is an absolute joke. They have like 12 parking spots for visitors TOTAL. Needless to say, they’re always taken. They tow cars like crazy and you need to register anyone visiting BEFORE they park. Just recently they implemented a new system online where you have to register your own car as well your visitors car. You need to provide insurance, registration a picture of the plate numbers, and cars need to look like they’re in optimal condition. ALSO, they tell you how many visits you can receive per week, not more than twice per week and 4 times per month!! You’d think they help pay the bills and insure your car for how much they ask. Girls at the front desk have zero knowledge of customer service and will 100% make you feel like they hate you daring to talk to them. It’s a shame because the apartments are nice and so is the community but management is bad and will definitely make you want to leave.
I’ve been here since 2021 and I must say the first manager was really nice and they actually had some really good communication with all tenants now the management team will call the cops on you if you stand up for yourself.I was 7 months pregnant and they towed my car and called the police on me because nobody told me where my car was and also one person in the office she came to my door like she wanted to attack me because of a issue with the gate which is always broke . The same person followed me to the gym bathroom as I couldn’t make it to my 3rd floor apartment 9 months pregnant she followed me and was staring like I broke or took something. Also she treated my fiancé like he was a bad person when he just asked her how can he get the package that was delivered to the office she ignored him. Please don’t move here and cars will be towed away I’m two minutes they do have favoritism and it shows I never known your place of residence can stress you out and make you hate people this is my fourth year here and I will not be here long . If I could I would rate it a zero.
I have lived at Stonegrove for the past 2 years and have enjoyed every bit of it. Anytime I have an issue or a concern the staff or maintenance is always super helpful and in a timely manner. I thoroughly enjoy the free coffee that is in the leasing office, I enjoy the gym and the pool is extremely nice. This is my first apartment since moving to Houston and I feel extremely safe living here, I recommend anyone to live here.
If youre looking for a comfortable and welcoming apartment complex, look no further than this gem. This complex is known for its accommodating nature, offering quick and efficient services to its residents. In fact, when we reported a silverfish issue in our unit, pest control was sent out within a week to spray our unit. They even came back for a few consecutive weeks to ensure the issue was completely resolved. Since then, we have not seen any more silverfish. Not only is the management team responsive to requests, but the neighbors are also friendly and welcoming. Overall, this apartment complex is a great choice for anyone looking for a hassle-free living experience.
I moved into this complex when it first open. What drew me most to complex was it’s charm design and the community feel that exuded from the staff. From 2020 to now there has been multiple changes with management, to rules and communication style with residents. my key factor in moving out was the many “guidelines” that staff had no compassion when communicating or working with their residents to resolve arising issues. we had set hours to use the pool that was often locked due the delayed maintenance repairs, many of the workout equipment was not well kept and out of order , visitor parking was designated at the very back of complex with less than ten spaces for the entire complex to share. As this visitor parking was new to the residents, I attempted to request another parking sticker for my partner’s vehicle. however with him not being on my initial leasing agreement, the staff had no empathy or understanding to difficulties this created. lastly, my moving out experience was very distasteful. the staff manger and assistance manger did not have proper organization with the non release letter that was submitted months prior to my move out date and attempted to charge and make a claim on my renter’s history. the manger used the difference of our ethnicities to claim I was being a threat for simply standing up for myself and what was truth in my experience and their demeanor. the staff are highly focus on meeting their metrics on their end but often forget the main priority is their clients and the homes their suppose to assist in creating.
This place is nice and quiet only concerns is parking and pool. I have family members that want to visit me but can only come here a few times a month. The pool is closed half of the summer!!! Most of the time i come home from work and want to get in the pool to refresh my self but i find the pool closed!! Kind of disappointed to me. Either they just lock the door with no reasons why or the pool is down for atleast a full week. Communication from them sucks!! They say the pool will be ready in a certain day, that certain day comes and nothing!! Few days pass by and still the same thing with no reason why the pool takes too long to get fixed. Same thing when you want to get big things fixed inside the appartment.
If I could give this apartment a 0 star I would! Do not go and live here if you expect to have occasional visitors OR Do not go and visit your loved ones if they live here. For the entire complex, there are only 16 visitor parking spots, of which, people rarely move because they will tow you for not being in one. I went to visit my sister for a few hours two days ago and my car was towed. I drove around looking for a spot two times and everything was full. So assuming that clearly they won’t tow me when they’re no spots available was a HUGE MISTAKE! I live an hour away and was there with my 1 year old daughter. I was not only left with no vehicle for the night (the tow place was closed for the night), but I had to get a ride (with a car seat), come back to this side of town the following day, & pay $200+ to get my car back! When I spoke with the manager onsite (Melinda) I was basically told that there was nothing she could do because they need to have spots for tenants, more than visitors (after she told me they are only 50% occupied right now). I see why. I wouldn’t live here either if I couldn’t have occasional guests visit me without knowing if they’d be car-less when it’s time to leave! I was given the corporate number and called to complain with no luck as of yet. Not only will I be letting everybody I know to not visit here, but I will be letting them know that there is no care or concern for those who visit here and could possibly become tenants! This complex is a HUGE NO for me!!!!! AND NO I DONT WANT TO REACH OUT TO THE COMPLEX FOR ANYTHING FURTHER, UNLESS YOU ARE RETURNING MY MONEY IN THIS RECESSION!!!
Been a resident for a little over three years now. Stonegrove has been an amazing experience. The front office staff is very friendly and courteous. Stephanie and Melinda are great and have (to my knowledge at least) always followed up with any issue I’ve had. Some of my neighbors are a little noisy and you do get the occasional weirdo walking around, but in my experience that is typical of any neighborhood/ apartment.Maintenance is always on hand and typically respond same or next day.If I were to complain about anything, I would say my biggest issue is parking. During the day there is little issue but at night you might find yourself having to park a little ways away.Overall great experience! 10 out of 10 recommend
I would have given a zero...My husband and I was helping our son move in yesterday and we had no idea where the visitor parking was...We parked against the gate away from the apartments thinking it would be ok. Thank God we came out when we did. The tow truck was right there getting ready to tow us. How are you suppose to help people move in...I was trying to register my vehicle right before that and it would not work. I woke up this morning trying to register before heading over there, but it is not working. He still need help moving his stuff, but I cannot drive my car to help him.I feel this is really EXTREME and INCONVENIENT. Has this really helped the problem? I get what management might be trying to do, but I feel they should have given residents hanging tags for cars of frequent visitors...I would like to visit my son more than 4 times a month...WOW!!!!!!I should have read the reviews earlier, then I would have suggested he move somewhere else. This will be a LONG year for him. I will not be visiting!!!!!....I will be posting all my experiences..
I am a new resident here and this is my first time ever renting. All i have to say is im super happy i chose Stonegrove Fall Creek for my newborn and wife . The units are super well taken care of. The neighborhood is super calm and peaceful. Maintenance and administration are top notch theres was a small detail in my unit and got taken care of in less than 24 hrs!!! If i could give more stars i would definitely do it in a heart beat stay rocking Stonegrove !!
Now let me make it clear, I dont live here and thankfully I never will. This review is from the point of view as a visitor. I have never seen an apartment complex so ruthless with towing cars, its actually insane to be honest. You can literally be there less than an hour and bam, youre car is gone and so is $200. The complex is indeed beautiful and nice. I suggest living here if youre antisocial, have no family, and no friends because God forbid they visit you. I know their response will be we need adequate parking and all that but everytime I go there late at night there are so many empty spaces its ridiculous. They could easily have that whole back parking for visitors but Im sure they get a cut of the outrageous towing so it is what it is.
The parking is terrible. The visitors parking is on the opposite side of the apartments. If you are near the rear gate no parking at all. So my elderly father can’t visit. This also means no guest or visitors because they will be towed. This is an easy fix but so far the apartments has been unwilling to do so. Melinda did work with me for my daughter to visit for Thanksgiving but Xmas with my family can’t happen here.
The rent is so extremely high. The time that I have been there allot of my neighbors leave because if they renew it’s even higher. CARS GET THEIR WHEELS STOLEN! There is NO security, even if the office says there is. Discount tire across from the property said that they get plenty of customers from this community, sad to have that reputation. Guest are at risk to get the cars towed. According to an office employee said that the tow company works 24 hrs n no matter what time your guests visit they risk being towed. I will not renew my contract.
Firstly, I want to say that my experience at this complex I call home, has been gratifying. Im currently in my second lease, because of the professionalism and courtesy I receive from the office and support staff. The ladies in the office are attentive and are always ready to assist with any issues brought to their attention. I thank you Melinda, Desiree, Stephanie, and Oscar for your service. Our property is always looking immaculate from the landscaping to the the caretaking of each building. My five star rating of this property is valid, simply because of my personal experience. With all that has been said, if youre in the market for living space, then come home to StoneGrove Fall Creek.
The parking is horrible for visitors. Cant leave your car packed unsupervised I got my two cars broken into 3 times and in one unfortunate occasion they car jacked my truck luckily it was unsuccessful for them. I told the front office and they didn’t do anything besides telling me to make a police report. This apartment complex needs security Cameras and for residents to have access to them or at least have some security patrolling the area 24/7WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE!!!!
I have lived in Stonegrove for a year 1/2 … for the most part I have really enjoyed my stay.. whenever I have a maintenance issue.. always resolved , or have a question office always responsive. Only downfall is visitor parking is very limited. However I would recommend
Don’t sign a lease here if you have family that will come and visit you. They will tow your mama car, your daddy car, your uncle car, and your car. Management is aware of this issue and could care less. If they were smart and watching the security cameras like they claimed to be, it would only make sense to have visitors park on the fence line that circles the property. 600 residents with 12 visitor parking spots is not logical.
I will keep it short. This is simply based on my experience.1) The buildings are made with what I think are cheap materials, we could hear all our neighbors because of the thin walls. Our neighbors had domestic issues so it was always very uncomfortable.2) My unit had damages (cheap materials) when we moved in, we were never given a move-in condition form and on the way out they stuck us with a huge bill for pre-existing damages.3) Poor water pressure and my unit was on the first floor, I wonder what the floors above had to deal with.I could keep going but by now you get the point, the rent is expensive and in my opinion I do not think it is worth it.
Came back to revisit the stone grove property. From what I last remember my rating still remains the same. Just terrible customer service and blandness during the tour. You would expect the assistant to have much more enthusiasm and more confidence.Nonetheless, I was not offered any refreshments, neither was I offered a seat after pointed out that there is not any seating available for new prospective clients. Highly disappointed in the service i received.Responses to any questions I had was just not good. StoneGrove has a lot of potential however, asset living should see what their on-site employees carry themselves. As the first time, my decision is still remains. I did not feel encouraged or confident to apply. Please consider that customer service is very important key in retaining and bringing in new cliental. As a shopper, I do not recommend StoneGrove. With all respect good-luck apartment hunters
Please guys don’t move here, they broke into my apartment and stoled everything. High Crime here, waiting for our lease to finish te get out. Oh and theres the trash issue..
At first, I was skeptical about moving to Stonegrove after reading all the reviews regarding the previous management team. After meeting and speaking with Stephanie and Melinda. They ensure us they are doing everything they can to keep the property safe and clean, and they did not disappoint. They are very kind and helpful, I would definitely recommend stonegrove to everyone.
(Excuse the display name) Going into my 2nd Lease here and have never had any problems I’ve had 1 work order that got handled Quickly. Overall it is a very quiet neighborhood I love it also the location is close to everything you need! Thanks to the staff for making my families stay awesome!
Apartments are very nice but towing enforcement is ridiculous for soo many apartments and only about 20 visitor parking spaces. You basically cant have guests because there is no where for them to park without being towed. Parking spaces arent scarce only visitors spaces are.
Stonegrove is home for me. It’s a clean and quiet neighborhood with great office and maintenance staff. I’m very pleased with my apartment and the overall experience here. I been here since July 2023 and I’m happy I chose Stonegrove to be my home.
This is the worst community ever when it comes to visitor parking. My good friend lives here and they have the nerve to tel me how many times I can visit a week and even a month. This is disrespectful for a grown person that pays rent to be told how many times they can have visitors. I have never heard of this. Do bettter
I absolutely love my apartment. Everyone in the leasing office are incredible. Desiree went over and beyond for me and I’ll forever be grateful for her. Moving to Stonegrove Fallcreek was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I LOVE IT HERE
We are very satisfied with StoneGrove ApartmentsHighly recommended to anyone who is looking for an apartment! The Amenities are awesome the resort style pool is so beautiful! A sanitized Gym. Very peaceful and clean community. They do a lot of fun activities throughout the year ! We have food trucks that come every week super delicious by the way. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Perfect location easy access to the highways.
Updated post: A year ago I posted a great review about the apartments but unfortunately I have to change it. The apartments are nice but since the office staff has changed things have not been good. Been here for a year, first impression was great (A lot of that had to do with Chelsea who is no longer there) but lots has changed since the office staff has changed. I don’t like to be lied too or handled unprofessional! The only one that gets my respect upfront is Alexis, if you want your needs met she’s the only one that will be honest with you and make sure she follows through with what she says! Maintenance staff is wonderful they are quick and the guys are great but that office staff has to do better!
The leasing office is terrible. The pool is always closed, the tables around the pool aren’t cleaned, the sitting couches on the outside of the pool is filthy. The complex walkways are gross, growing so many spider webs and beehives. The rent paying portal sucks, the systems are down and bills come in late. If the upkeep was done it would be a beautiful complex. The worse part is that there are criminal activities happening and no reports or alerts are sent out to residents. They try and blame you for them before they care about your safety. I understand why the community is starting to talk about them, it has so much potential to be an overall beautiful apartment complex.
Very good apartment complex, they offer lots of opportunities for tenants to interact while adhering to guidelines that keep people safe. Their staff is very friendly, Jackie has helped us on numerous occasions. She is always friendly and willing to help us no matter what. You dont see that in every apartment complex staff. Grateful for the experience weve had with Stonegrove, just signed on another year. Looking forward to the next year with them.
Me and my fiancé came to look for an apartment today and Megan the leasing agent was very welcoming. They did not have anything for an August move in but she was still happy to give us a tour and took our information. She was very knowledgeable on everything we needed to know from the pricing to the application process. We will definitely be coming back to lease because Megan made it feel like home!
I moved to this property about 2 months ago and have only good things to say. Its well maintained, safe, and has lots of parking. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations very close by, as well as easy freeway access. Additionally and importantly, every staff member has been extremely helpful and welcoming before, during, and after my application process. Every time I visit the office I am greeted immediately. My concerns and questions have always been resolved or answered without hesitation and reasonably. It has been a great living experience and I am glad I chose this property...Really, shout out to all of the staff at Stonegrove for being true professionals and experts in their craft!
My experience from my initial tour to my application process was phenomenal, thanks to Melinda. She went above and beyond to ensure we secured the apartment we wanted. I highly recommend this property. The entire staff is very friendly with has great communication skills. I am happy to be apart of this community!!
Unprofessional. Friend of mine applied here and they lied to her. The assistant manager told her if she found someone that could be a guarantor they would approve her only for them to still deny her. Also heard the recording and the Melinda the assistant manager got super sassy real quick. There’s a review here from a few weeks ago that says during the process they’re nice but after they’re rude. This seems correct. Do not move here. My friend had no broken leases, no evictions and makes the income. She only had low credit. Why waste someone’s time and make someone else apply stating otherwise and still not go through what she said? Also, The leasing Megan says in one that she sometimes writes the rental herself verbally but yet in another one Melinda says they don’t do the rental from there. They need to get on the same page. I will be telling my friends to review this property as well. Oh by the way, Melinda is ignorant.
Simply the best experience I’ve had with any apartment complex. The staff helped me feel at home and were very accommodating having to change move in dates, and they didn’t charge me any additional fees. The best sleep I have had in years. No noise, beautiful complex that is well maintained, and great front office staff!Shout out to Jackie Salazar for answering all my numerous questions and for handling my lease creation to move in.
01.14.2023 Edit: I was able to get confirmation of my balance after breaking my lease with the apartment and management company, which is $0. I cannot seem to figure out how to get a statement on my credit submitted by a collections agency to be removed ($6000). I was told this would self resolve but the statement has not been removed.12.2022 Previously: I know I forgot to check my balance for 2 months after breaking my lease and paying the reletting fee. However, when I call and email to determine the balance, they dont even know the amount. I can ignore the closed pool, puke in the gym, and stolen parts from the gym equipment. What I really dont like is how difficult it is to pay them when I want to leave for a new job, normally places love to accept a check. They arent even sure who I am supposed to pay.
I am writing a review to back up some of the recent reviews made about Stonegrove. I was disappointed to find that we received noticed of new management at 4pm on a Friday 4/30/21 and rent being due on Saturday, May 1st. We were told that rent had to be paid in office because the system was down, Saturday being the next open day, and Sunday the office being closed. Then back to the weekday where everyone returns to work. Still not enough flexibility and notice but late penalties just still applied.Asset Living feels as though they gave us enough time; however, this is not true. It immediately sent a bad first impression and I can already foresee that I will not be renewing my lease this year.Just yesterday two vehicles had their tires stolen, and a couple of months ago other residents cars were broken into. The security that we are suppose to have on campus every night is nonexistent. We also had an issue where someone broke into our mailroom. I was hoping they would have installed cameras by now but still nothing. Also, during the entire pandemic we were not able to have access to the pool, gym or clubhouse but no reduction in rent was offered and no word from the owners/management on how they can help. Moving forward, will this be something you all go back in revisit in the future or even address? We also have a rat/mice issue which is horrible considering we have curb side trash. My suggestion is that we cancel valet trash, install another dumper at the other end of the complex to eliminate the rodents. The buildings are beautiful and have great curb appeal, the pool is nice but behind the gates, the quality is declining. My hope for SG is that you take into consideration the things your residents are saying. I pay almost 2k a month to be here and should be treated with dignity along with the other residents. Please know and understand that you are dealing with professionals and working class people as residents. At this time, I would not recommend Stonegrove to anyone as I am seeing now why many of my neighbors are moving out. I hope my view will change once new staff are hired but right now we are currently just left out here on our own until the office is staffed appropriately. I am more than willing to edit my review when/if things change.
When we first moved here management was amazing and we loved our community. Now we are counting down til we are gone, we are paying for a pool that is NEVER open and management doesnt care enough about their tenants to send a courtesy email as to why. If you do a tour of the 1 bedroom take a look on the second floor, its disgusting. Lastly, management Emily and the assistant manager Ben BOTH need some serious lessons in customer service, they were truly the icing on the cake for why Ill never look at Stonegrove the same again. None of the offers or look and lease deals are worth dealing with stone grove just stay far away.
Hello Apartment Hunters:Months ago, my wife and I were highly interested in this community! We loved the floor plan and exterior. Meg was amazing, however, in the application process was completely terrible. I do not know how these reviews say staff is “amazing”. Quit the opposite on my side. The only one who was great was Meg. But , the managers Maria and Melinda were just awful. I felt discriminated because my age and how much income I make. They treated me as of I cannot afford the community which I can. My wife provided the offer letter and they didn’t say anything about requiring a check stub, and we settled for my info etc. They said no she needs to provide a stub, and I said how can you say this last minute. And the assistant says no I was there when she told you this! I was very astonished at the response because they have lied. Moreover, we decided to pull out our application because we were treated with a lot of disrespect and discrimination . This is not even the whole process since it is to much to type down. Thus, i do not recommend working with MARIA AND MELINDA. I know the whole process because I am in the same industry. Renters I say do not choose this community with these kind of staff. They go against fair housing laws. The only great asset to this community was Meg unfortunately she does work there anymore. Please take this review into consideration. No pettiness but fact and statements that can help your decision!
I hope the future residents get the opportunity to use the amenities offered to them considering our pool has been closed and green every other weekend of this HOT summer. As of today the pool has been closed for 3 weeks and youd think someone would be kind enough to send out a memo....or perhaps adjust our rent but instead we find out in real time after we have walked to the pool to see the pool is closed sign...which is very disappointing to my children
Just recently relocated to TX 4 months ago and decided to trust my apartment locaters judgement that Humble would be a great yet safe place to reside! I LOVED THE NEIGHBORHOOD but If you plan to live alone and if premises security is a concern of yours then Stone grove is NOT a place to live. Someone broke into my home while I was asleep and has stolen my items. Melinda was not pleasant to work with during this time, I understand youre just there to work but there was no understanding or compassion for me. Melinda also told me that it couldve possibly just been an ex-boyfriend or something which was an inappropriate response for multiple reasons but especially because I shared that I relocated for work and do not know anyone in TEXAS!!!!! I requested that at least the locks be changed until I found elsewhere to go... no locked changed, no nothing. All Melinda cared about was the rent being paid since this happened on August 1st.Side bar: the gate is often broken which means anyone can come in. and this is not the first incident that has taken place like this. Unfortunately I found out after my incident that there has been other safety concerns for their residents. The patrol officer that they tell you lives on site is NOT out patrolling every night & they have no cameras facing the residential buildings so they cannot confirm that the officer is actually working. There was no one working the morning this work place around 3:20 am. The deputy that came out did tell me that in a case like my own, most likely maintenance had been involved.. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST LIVING HERE. Stay Safe!
HOME SWEET HOMEMy spouse & I have lived here since March 2019 and we absolutely love it! The Office Staff and Maintenance Crew are superior in service. Our small gated community is family & pet friendly. The culture is diversified and cordial. We plan to live here for a while longer. Its a nice place to come home to.
Our experience living here has been unsatisfactory. On multiple occasions we have had issues with receiving packages. My husband and I both have had to reorder items that said they were delivered. Recently there was even a break in to the package locker room and again an ordered item came up missing. You would think after the lockers got broken into there would be a visible increase in security but there hasn’t been. Nowthis morning someone broke into my husband’s truck, shattering his passenger side window. A few other vehicles were broken into as well.Even a request to have our water filter changed didn’t go as expected. Apparently if you request to have your water filter changed after living here longer than three months, it is your responsibility to buy a new filter for the refrigerator. My husband I have both lived in several other apartment complexes and never needed to purchase a water filter for the refrigerator. Also the laundry room area is horribly designed in our apartment. You can’t even fully open the washer. I won’t even let my son put clothes in it because when attempting to prop the lid up, it is prone to slamming shut. It’s such a safety hazard.Thankfully, we purchased a home and we will be moving out soon. Not only did they want two months notice that we were leaving but on top of that the termination fee is the amount of an additional two months rent. So ready to leave
I Love this apartment incredible staffing, maintenance and a place that make you feel at home. This is my third year and I love each and every year I’ve been here. Thank u stone grove
Moved into my apartment about a month ago. I can honestly say the staff is very helpful and professional. They definitely make sure all the documents are in order to ensure a smooth move in with no problems. The property is quiet and friendly which makes it very comfortable to come home to after a long days work. The amenities are top notch which I surely appreciate.
Another tenant almost walked into my apartment tonight. His key worked on my bottom lock!!!!!! That means that if you live here anyone can enter your apartment at ANYTIME!!!! Absolutely unacceptable. I had to call a 24/7 locksmith to come change my bottom lock. That is a life hazard. These people should be ashamed of themselves. They don’t care about anyone’s life or safety. A complete disregard for human life or safety. I wonder would the management like it if someone had a key to their home? Before calling a locksmith of my own I called Stone Grove emergency maintenance and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I was told that I had to wait until morning. So they didn’t care at all that someone can just walk right in to my apartment. Completely inhumane and evil. Everyone should be fired immediately!!!!
I am in love with this property. I had the best experience with everyone in the office. Danielle, Ashlee and Chelsea were all so helpful, warming and inviting. The atmosphere that they bring to this community is so welcoming. I am highly impressed with the level of professionalism, understanding, and sincerity that they have shown my family and I and given me during this entire process. I would HIGHLY recommend living here at STONEGROVE. The community grounds are immaculate, with very up to date and modern appliances. I can’t not wait to explore more of this community and I am delighted to see what they will be doing next.
I have been in this complex for almost a year now and my experience as been pretty good. I say pretty good because I had a slight problem in my first apartment, but after bringing my concern to management, I was allowed to move to another apartment. The staff is courteous and professional. I also had a personal problem that I needed assistance with and the apartment manager was compassionate caring and really looked out for me. Thanks Team, I appreciate you all.
I have lived in alot of apartments over the years and this is the first review that I felt I had to write. I moved into this complex in 2019 when it was brand new. I recently moved out in March /2022. I watched what was once a beautiful complex deteriorate over 3 years. They constantly are changing management. When I moved out I felt I was living in trash can land. They implemented a new trash policy last year where they furnished everyone a black trash can to sit your trash can outside for valet trash pickup. Along with these trash cans came a set of rules that they did not enforce. Tenants were leaving these black trash cans out 24/7 with trash in them all hours of the day. The breeze way was nasty and dirty with trash stains everywhere. I had to walk around trash stains and spills . It was an eyesore. I then began to see roaches which I had never seen in my stay there before. I complained to management constantly and even furnished alot of pictures, they failed to get a handle on it which is why I did not renew my lease. The dumpster was always overflowing with trash and old furniture people left behind. The pool quality had also gone down hill. I had not seen the clear blue water since my first year of living there. You would think they could have gotten a handle on the water quality since it was not even open during COVID and no one was swimming. It continued to be cloudy and borderline green. My experiences with the latest management were not pleasant. They were unprofessional and disrespectful. I recently received a partial refund on my $250 deposit which they deducted a $60 fee for appliance cleaning. I felt this to be quite comical as I was living in trash can land daily with peoples stink trash and diapers and they did nothing about it. In all my apartment living, I always received a full refund. Under the current management, I cannot give this complex a positive review. I lived there longer than they have been in their offices so I know what once was is no longer the standard that I was use to. I hope this review is helpful to others when considering your choice for your home.
From Lisa to Ashlee you ladies provide amazing customer service! I am so excited to be moving into my first beautiful home with my daughter. Stonegrove is the only property that made sense to us, beautiful, modern and top notch! Ashlee was so very helpful in the process and her patience is unmatched. Chelsea and Ashlee had over 8 guests at once while helping me and another young lady fill out or apps. Provided top notch service even with young children asking a million questions.
I went into stonegrove, exhausted after visiting at least 6 other apartments and found exactly what I was looking for at stonegrove aparments. Meg and Melinda was so helpful and professional. I moved in the apartment the very next day. We had some hick ups believe it or not but together they kept finding solutions. Its a miracle that I moved in the very next day. Its a beautiful property and am very grateful for their awesome personalities and assistance. They make a great team and do their jobs well with only 2 people.
The property is extremely beautiful and well taken care off. Love the dog park. Karen in the office is kind, patient, and very helpful. Great location and great price for the apartments. Would definitely recommend others to consider Stonegrove Fall Creek as their new home as well.
Melinda is the best I just moved here to this property and she has taken the time to make sure my move in was smooth and very organized. Also stephanie and desiree are always soo welcoming whenever I have stepped inside of the office. Overall I am pleased to be here!
I chose the StoneGrove community as my home because of the well designed structure of the community. Staffing and maintenance are very reliable with any concerns here at stonegrove. The property itself is very beautiful including the pool and a 24 hour access to the gym which is very convenient. The front office has been very helpful with all of my situations and I recommend if you’re searching for a good living experience, look no further than Stonegrove Fall Creek.
Every time I visit this property it is an amazing experience! The staff - Melinda, Stephanie and Amanda are always happy, full of energy, and set the vibe as soon as you walk in. Awesome amenities, clean premises, and the gym is spot on! Definitely an A1 choice when looking for your future home!
I am a new tenant that will be moving in August 1 from out of state. I had to find a place and set everything up online which I anticipated would be a bit difficult, but Jackie and Ashlee really helped me a bunch throughout the entire process, from choosing a floor plan, to walking me through the process and getting me ready to move in once I arrive. Jackie was very communicative and understanding as she helped me with my lease contract as well as setting up my internet and electricity. Ashlee was super patient with me through all my questions over the phone and they both made sure I was comfortable signing a the lease before arriving physically to Stonegrove.
This place is really nice!! Not trying to sell you, just giving you my honest opinion from my experience. I really enjoy the costumer service here. They really have things organized and are transparent about dollar. The staff here is always willing to help you. Chelsea was my leasing agent and she has been nothing but patient with me since this my very first apartment. Looking forward to moving in! - Ledell Thomas
This is my first time writing a review for anything, thats how terrible Emily was in my resident process. I got accepted simply because they wanted to take my money and deny me. They act very friendly when you are a prospective resident and once you send all the information you need to send and more, they will deny you and lie and try to convince you that they told you, you had 24 hours to submit everything even if are moving from out of state. I communicated daily to this female about having to have my boss send over information she wanted and after I sent it, she said she decided to deny my application the day I told her I had to get the information sent to em, simply because she wanted to. I already bought a plane ticket and accepted my job offer before she decided to do this, Its very inconvenient and unprofessional.
Submitted an application a week ago with the application and administrative fee. The leasing agent told me the system was down but I should hear something back within 48 hrs. 48 hrs came and went. I decided to call. After being informed by the new leasing agent, the day after submitting the application, the community change ownership. Ok fine. I was still interested. Low and behold the system was still down and It would take 2 weeks (which is unheard of) to get a response of approval or denial. At this point they are holding onto my paperwork until their system comes up. I requested a refund. Unfortunately, Stone Grove wants to keep my application fee because I gave it to them in return for getting an apartment. I don’t think a full refund is an unreasonable request. It’s not my fault that your system has been down for a week.
Was impressed by the specials being offered here, got a $100/month discount just for applying same day! Buildings are GORGEOUS and look brand new and the whole property is maintained very well; thank you maintenance team for being so on top of your jobs. We appreciate you.
Asset Living recently took over management of Stonegrove at Fallcreek. They notified residents on a Friday at 4PM that management had changed and the only way to pay for rent was money order or cashiers check. Rent was due Monday morning on the first. Personally I had autopay set up and was not prepared to go to the bank within an hour before they closed for the weekend. Highly unprofessional to leave residents out of the loop when property managements know they are selling. It is not a one day process. They could have informed residents prior to the weekend to get their fairs in order. Also, I couldn’t get into my garage; went into the office to have maintenance open the door for me to go into work. I was told “there is no maintenance team”, “I’m just a temp”, “there is no office staff” AND “you need to leave the office.” The one that bother me the most was being told (as a resident) that I needed to leave the clubhouse. Residents have access to enter the building without staff through the fobs. I was so confused on why I couldn’t patiently wait in the office for the agent to return from a tour. I was without my vehicle for the entire weekend!! First thing Monday morning 9AM I called to see if I could get my truck out of the garage and no answer. I went up to the office as well. Finally someone spoke with me and told me they would let maintenance know to let me in. 30mins go by and nothing. I fortunately saw maintenance on their golf cart. I approached them with my issues and told me “I am sorry ma’am no one has told me anything, let me go get the key now” he let me in within 15mins. I didn’t get my truck until 11AM.. two hours later... (in a spongebob voice)P.S.It is now rolling into the next month and the resident portal is still down. Can’t put in maintenance request nor pay rent. They say it is up and working but it is not. When you try and call the office no one answers. If you leave a voicemail no one returns the call. I am thankfully I found a house to move into prior to the management changing. There is no way I would’ve resigned with the new management. Good luck to all the future residents!Unfortunately, with Asset Living Stonegrove Apartments have immediately went from a B property to a straight D property. Meaning they are not worth your time. Beauty can only get you so far; professionalism can take you miles. This property will loose it’s beauty shortly. What a tragedy.
We found this complex on Apartments.com and initially we were looking for a townhouse. After seeing the complex and how clean it was, we decided to this was our new home. Jackie S. was utterly professional, helpful, and made the entire process so smooth. She went above and beyond to ensure we received every amenity possible and promotional deals. I highly recommend this complex because of the staff and the location. We are so glad we picked Stonegrove Fall Creek! Thanks Jackie, you rocked it girl!
I have been living here for 6 months and the service from management down to the leasing team has been exceptional. The property is clean and well maintained and am looking forward to renewing my lease.
Everything at Stonegrove Fall Creek is amazing! From the beautifully bright apartments to the lovely and friendly staff, our experience here has been more than perfect. Chelsea Cranford, our leasing professional, has been so helpful with the entire process. We are thrilled to finally be in our new home and are looking forward to having some neighbors soon. If you are looking for an apartment with great amenities, a great location, and want a smooth application process with a welcoming team, then Stonegrove is the place for you.
My sister, dog, and I love our new home here at Stonegrove Fall Creek! The apartments and neighborhood are beautiful, and the staff members here are super friendly and helpful. This is our first time leasing an apartment and we are so grateful for all the patience and help we received from Jackie!
Pros: Very aesthetically pleasing complex, amenities are nice, maintenance is AMAZING and office staff are kindCons: security is horrible! Lockers got broken into and cars got broken into and nothing has been done. Office staff has changed, they are kind but do not communicate well which is different from the staff that I was used to when I first moved in.
Melinda is one of the best managers I have ever spoken with much less been around! She went beyond to help me with issues. And I could never thank her enough ! Which in all made my stay there fantastic . Thank you ,Melinda ❤️
I absolutely loved everyone at Stonegrove Fall Creek! Melinda was so warm and inviting. I felt very welcomed and cared for. I will definitely be renewing my lease here.
My daughter and son in law did the research and found 4 complexes they thought would be a good fit for me. I stopped here 2nd and needed to look no farther. Jackie showed us around and after showing 2 apartments walked us back to the unit I would actually be renting then allowed me to try and fit my pickup in a garage. No fit but that wasnt a deal breaker for me as I liked everything else shown. I did everything else online with her help and will be moving in at the end of this month.
I just went recently to check this apartments out. And the customer service there was amazing. I was helped by Meg! She was amazing I loved her attitude she was just beyond amazing. She answered all my questions and have us a tour of where could be our next home. If the owners see this please give Meg a race!Thank you Meg!!
I wish I could give this place no stars. Constant car break ins, windows smashed, cars stolen, not to mention someone got shot at this location. And packages are stolen left and right. When something goes wrong in your apartment don’t expect them to come till a week later and still not be able to fix it. They even have a security guard on nights who tells residents that they can’t be outside at night to walk their dog and to go back inside. This place is so unsafe and horrible to their residents. I left my apartment over a month early just to get out of there.
Have been here since march of 2020 and havent had any complaints. The complex is amazing a lot of greenery as well as a resort style pool. Very quite place at night with gated entrances. The staff has been helpful in every way even having food truck come to get out of the routine. Close to multiple highways and various shopping centers. I recommend them 100%.
I love living here at Stonegrove Fall creek,Stephanie & Malinda was very helpful to get the apartment leased and all the requirements , Maintenance team is at there peak and get you issues fixed if you have any. Highly recommend this place looking forward to stay here at Stonegrove
For anyone Interested in leasing in the complex, here is my advice, DON’T! I can list reasons for days on end but let’s be honest your looking at reviews to gauge past tenets experiences. I’ve lived here since they were 1st build and I can say with confidence that even after switching management companies they’ve some how remained just as nonchalant as before. No sense of urgency and no communication. Your better off somewhere else save yourself the trouble and don’t let the exterior beauty of this place fool you.
This place is beautiful. My wife and I have had a very positive experience since we visited the property the first time. I am impressed by how professional, kind, and warming Chelsea has been. She has helped us in every step of the process taking into consideration all of our requests. We visited many places but this one is the best by far.
This place is special to me and Im thankful to have found such a gorgeous place with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The residents helped me feel right at home. The community manager has been so responsive and more than helpful. I honestly feel blessed to be here.
This apartment complex is the best place I have lived at! The staff here is so friendly and helpful! If you need any assistance or have an issue, they truly care and will assist you. Not to mention, the complex itself is beautiful! I am very excited for it to warm up so that I can test out the gorgeous pool! You won’t regret living here!
Beautiful property with great amenities. Sales associate Ashlee gave great customer service and showed great energy and care, you can tell she really loves her job. Was one of the main reasons why I considered Stone Grove!
To a single person or a family or anyone who is planing to rent with safety concerns . Please DO NO THINK OF MOVING HERE !!! Actually stay away from the whole area.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻We decided to move here since humble is the closest to my husband’s work and this community could be the safest option for us.We were totally wrong… I’m freaking out alllll day long. I swear to God that I am traumatized from the events I’ve seen here …. This community is not a nice place for a family at all, u will never feel safe to walk at night , you will never feel safe to come home late at night and walk to your apartment, you will never feel safe to live alone in here, you will never ever ever ever feel you’re home. Simply, because home is where u can stay in peace and feel safe all the time. Please stay away , I’m just a sister trying to warn you and I’m super super super happy that I finally moooooooveeeed out of here. Once and never again ….
When I came to Stonegrove I was at a point in my life where I just needed a breath of fresh air. When I first met Rodrick we just clicked and he was so polite to me. I went home and thought about Stonegrove for about 2 weeks, then I finally came back to the property. Then I met Jackie.. one of the nicest.. sweetest women I’ve ever met. She really helped me through a tough tie without even knowing it. I love coming hone to Stonegrove and just feeling welcomed and comfortable. I thank the entire staff especially Jackie and Rodrick. Thank you. Laquitha Dean
I currently live here and idk if these apartments are cheaply made from downstairs to upstairs or I just have noisy upstairs neighbors.I am not enjoying the stay, it sound like a zoo above me.I stayed in another apartment on the first floor and I rarely heard anything, I hear every step these people make .
Ben made my application process super easy! I toured 3 different floor plans and he really took the time to make sure that I was getting the best deal. I also want to give a special thanks to Maria! Thank you guys so much for making this the smoothest process!
StoneGrove has been amazing in every way! Moved to Houston for the 1st time ever and StoneGrove has been a home for me and my family! Everything about StoneGrove is amazing! Parking, Resort Pool, Gym, Starbucks Machine! Yes Starbucks Machine inside the club House! All the events they have for the residents just outstanding!
Love these apartments !! Gorgeous , nice staff , and a good environment! It’s really hard to find apartments where the staff is super friendly and always willing to help and answer any questions and needs!! Jackie and Rodrick do an excellent job at it !! Would definitely recommend to others !
Beautiful place to live. Management is great and is always there to answer any questions or concerns I have. Highly recommend living here!
GREAT experience starting from when I called Ben to request a tour all the way to him handing me the keys to my new apartment. The process was efficient, pleasant, and professional...not to mention the APT and grounds look great!
Staff was very helpful and professional with providing all the information needed in becoming a future resident especially Ashlee Fonseca. I also highly recommend these apartments if looking to move in the area. Great location and amenities.
This place is amazing! Leasing consultant & property manager are amazing and gave me all the assistance I needed! Would recommend this place 100 times in 100 galaxies!!
Leasing Agent Brenda always provides great care for residents & is thorough/attentive
Excellent!! No noises very calm 😌 very friendly also if you need help they came right way to help you I m glad I live here 😌
We went to check out this apartments . We had a very nice young lady greet us. Was very informative and answered all our questions. Really Considering making this our new home . Thank u so much for all ur Patience Ms Megan-and for answering all questions .
If i could give this place a zero star I would. The management is more worried about having visitors and less about the fact cars are being broken into on a daily! Would never recommend!
Stonegrove is beautiful & modern with great amenities. Jackie from the leasing office gave me a tour of the community and was so professional and welcoming! That made my decision to move here much easier!!
Overall staying at this property was good but when I moved out they charged me for the cleaning service which I had cleaned the Apt myself I didnt tell them I would use the cleaning service
Peaceful & Quiet! Great salesman Mrs.Chelsea was wonderful & very helpful with our first apartment home. We looked everywhere & nothing compares to StoneGrove!
Excellent apartments, awesome gym and a very professional set of staff at the leasing office. Thank you Chelsea for helping me move in to the place in a day. All of you are awesome.
Definitely recommend these apartments go with Maria in the leasing office she very nice and helpful.
In person and over the phone, the girl ASHLEY is extremely rude. My wife called about pricing and went to the apartment sites and both times she’s expressed to me that the girl ASHLEY is unprofessional and has a nasty attitude. Be cautious when going in there or calling.
The management team is so helpful! I enjoy the peace and security the apartments bring, not to mention they are pet friendly. This is definitely a place to call HOME!
No security in these apartments. My car was broken into when I first moved over here, then I wake up this morning and BOOM my tires are gone and my car was left on blocks. No option to call a Courtesy officer. Police came but they can’t do anything of course.
Overpriced and not safe here. Still down the street from the hood. Haverstock Hills isn’t that far from here. There was a helicopter looking for a suspect today in the apartments and no one can go in or out. If you’re looking for safety, don’t move here
Cant visit my family member at the rate of having my car towed... and being on a visit more than the alloted days, as I am from out of town
I just moved in and absolutely loved it.
They are a bad company to do business with i was told one thing by a leasing agent and then they came back and told me they couldnt after one leasing agent said dey could they gave me false information then took the app and admin fee while me explaining that me and my kids were sleeping in a car pls dont do business with this property you will regret it
Love this place! Lobby is so cool and refreshing and well maintained. So excited to be moving here soon.
Just reading other’s reviews and experiences. I definitely wouldn’t move here. All those 5 star reviews are 100% fake.
I love this Place, everything is nice and new .And everytime that I called the office for something that I need,Chelsea is always helping me right away. She is really professional ,she is the BEST. I really recomend this place.
I am a driving that goes to the apartments everyday the staff are very helpful when I need assistance...I never have any problems when I go over to them unlike the other apartments that I go to no one ever around to get any help
Glad to be a part of the community, the process was easy, fast and Alexis Wilburn was such a great help. I just want to say thank you and I love my new place.
Rat infested and doesn’t protect your property the gates are always broken and the property mangers Melinda and Anna towns are racist do not recommend for anyone of color
Omg this community is amazing! The staff is courteous and they answered all my questions. I love the landscaping and cant wait to make this property my future home.
Thank you to Stonegrove @ Fall Creek for showing so much love to IGIT Ministry!! We appreciate your hospitality and thank you for the support!!
Still horrible customer service, it’s been 3 weeks since my deposit check was cut and every time I call the office to see where it’s at, they say they’ll call me back. Still no call back or response. They are liars and frauds. Be careful with this company!
So far its been great I like how quiet it is and everybody just

They will tow your car, take a cut from the company, and then let criminals in to steal your wheels. Great community. 💕
