The homes are nice, but pretty expensive and the properties are WAY TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. The homes are so close together that its not even worth looking at to purchase. The garages are a joke. Never in my life have I seen a garage so small yet they consider them 2 car garages. The driveway is equally as small. Its all about how many homes the can cram into an area, taking away from the value of what your buying. Reminds me of NYC because of the space between the homes, which is a shame because the homes are beautiful.On another note, it does have a beautiful lagoon to swim in with very nice amenities.

We relocated to Texas from Georgia and the surprises don’t stop with this home. We have cracks in our walls that allow bugs and insects to seep in, our hardware installed was poorly installed and has come off the walls, and our latest issue which is more of the serious one is our drywall is bubbling in certain places. When I contacted Long Lake and Ashley over a week ago, I was told to complete the form and submit it and I did that and provided photos. A contractor has reached out to me to repair the drywall to which I told him I would rather speak to a Long Lake representative first so that we can find the root cause of the water leak to cause the bubbling which I’m guessing is the roof and that is what Ashley suggested as well when I sent her the photos. The contractor said that the Long Lake rep Kevin told him it was not a roof leak but Kevin has not been by our home to take a look and he has not had a professional come out to survey either even though there is evidence of water leaked by streaking in the walls behind the paint and a huge bubbling spot on our walls. They are trying to piece my home together just to last long enough for the warranty to expire without doing a root cause analysis to see why the walls are bubbling. For all the money you will spend to live here, this is NOT worth the hassle. I would seriously consider another builder when making your new home purchase. This has been a night mare that will get worse because I know all of this will result in countless contractors in my BRAND NEW home make a mess and piecing my home together. I’m furious.

I had an exceptional experience with Ashley the home sales professional throughout the entire process. She helped with clear explanations at every step made the journey smooth, and her communication skills stood out. I highly recommend both the builder Long Lake and Ashley if youre in the market for a new home. She is a great liasion for relocating families. Before deciding on our big move, we looked at a few other builders. Some didn’t reply, were simply not helpful or unwilling to provide transparency. When we virtually met Ashley, the idea of building a home remotely didn’t seem so risky or scary anymore. She was caring and kind to our every need and question.This was the first home we had ever built and her prompt replies and professionalism really made the process much easier. She is so friendly that when we finally met in person it was like meeting someone we had known for a while that we could trust.The home itself was built sturdy, with no issues and any repair that has needed attention (nothing major by any means) has been easy to deal with. Have been able to call it in to the original contractors and they have taken care of it within a couple days. We are absolutely happy with our home and are so glad we didn’t go with another builder, especially having Ashley as our guide through it all. Thank you Ashley!

I have not had the most pleasant experience purchasing my first home, especially being a new construction home. Lets start with Ashley, she has the worse attitude ever, rude and unprofessional. My realtor had to check her a few times. This should have been my sign. She over speaks and does not listen to your concerns at all once the deal is signed and sealed. Im beyond frustrated with the issues that I have with my new construction home. I would advise if you have any blue tape and concerns please dont close, have them fix ALL ISSUES before closing. Im 8 months into my home and Im still waiting for repairs. Cabinets need to be replaced, cement had to be repaired on deck, the side of my yard floods like a small pond, the edges of the doors are rough like they have been chewed by a dog, the garage door sounds Iike its coming off the tracks despite it being repaired, the grout in the floors have holes, lets not talk about the landscaping and last but not least I currently have a leak in my ceilings. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere before coming to Long Lake. I wished I would have went elsewhere for my first new construction home. Instead of enjoying my home I have several issues that have to be fixed.

We decided to build a home with Long Lake. Ashley was there every step of the way. She answered all of our questions. Long Lake turned over the house by the time frame they originally gave me. Warranty requests have been completed within a couple of days. Definitely recommend!

DO NOT waste your time and hard earned money purchasing a home from Long Lake. YOU WILL REGRET IT! Ashley gave my husband and I attitude in our inquiring stage. She would not answer phone calls and when she did she spoke to is as if we were peasants, we only continued because of a gentleman we spoke to who was retiring and because our realtor decided to reach out to Ashley herself. Once she found out we were serious about getting a home with Long Lake, she began acting nice, BUT the process was headache after headache and even now MORE HEADACHE! Ashley does not listen and she sells sweet lies. My husband and I wanted a light colored house and we ended up with a phantom looking one because Ashley listens to herself and everyone else in Long Lake pleases themselves. Our brick choices were between pearl river and summer ash, yet we ended up with madams place holder brick which is winter lake. We were not informed that our brick was unavailable, instead we were told a separate brick was delivered. Their contract states that we would have been given 2 days to choose if our choice is not available, NOT SO! She tried to rush us into choosing other paint colors and forget the whole ordeal happened; however, we came to an agreement and continued. At the walk through in August 2022, I pointed out damaged cabinets and Kevin said those will be changed. My family and I moved in October 2022 and it is now April 2023 and according to them the cabinets are on back order. My bathroom drawers have fallen out since November, they have not been fixed. My floor creeks even on tip toes, and a host of other things. Some have been fixed and others (like my lean windows) are structural and cannot be fixed. Things are crooked and there is seldom attention to detail. It took me a year of pure frustration to get to this long post. Save yourself the stress. Customer service is not their thing. The reviews are from employees and not customers. Long Lake should not be given the opportunity to paint a pebble much more build a house.

The all around area is beautiful but, my experience with Ashley was something that Id never want anyone to experience.The sad part is that everyone who Ive spoken to in this development all had the same experience.She lies, doesnt inform you of all that youre privy to, told me that I could only upgrade my choices and not downgrade, didnt show me all that was available in the home until Id asked and then lied again.Id also asked to be placed in a diverse neighborhood but, that didnt happen and I wont go any further than that, as I dont ever want to falsely accuse anyone of discrimination.I love and enjoy the beauty of all cultures and races. I actually had to report her to her boss for her unprofessional behavior and lies.I had to do everything virtually so, I really depended on her and the realtor to help with my experience.Shaunda the realtor did an excellent job by going to the property, getting out of the car and taking live videos and photos for me.Ashley, never once stepped outside of her vehicle and always had an excuse as to why she didnt.She didnt go into the home until Id mentioned it in a group email. She also tried to hide things that Id specifically addressed prior to closing. Smh!I just wish my experience in having my first house built from the ground s better one.The next time Ill do better research and will definitely bypass Long Lake and tell others the same.
