Being in the military I have been part of many HOAs. I can honestly say, this is the worst of the worst management companies. If you are a new community looking for an HOA management company- do your residents a favor and stay away. Fighting with these people for over a year for an erroneous fee where they claim i sold my house because squatters tried to steal my house and they created a public record of a sale but the house was never changed in tax records. Still, they refused to fix their error for which they keep tacking on fees, despite saying they waived it all. This is just one instance of this type of issue.

No one has it together here. I’m incredibly disappointed with the service and organization at this office. After numerous calls and assurances, I drove out to pick up my remote controls, only to find they weren’t programmed as promised. Now, I’m left dealing with an additional inconvenience to get them working. This isn’t the only issue – I previously called to ask if I could pay with a check, only to be told otherwise when I arrived. It’s frustrating to encounter such repeated incompetence and lack of coordination. I expected a more reliable and efficient process, but unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case.

What are the chances that every letter has the same date, talk about cutting grass when it has been raining for a whole week, and this is the killer, my grass needed cutting when we had snow. So now its crab grass, this is new to me, this grass was here when I moved in.

Just got off the phone with a representative, Melissa who attempted to handle my 2nd complaint to them. Although they seem to be very professional and with a fancy sounding name, they are poor stewards of properly managing our neighborhood, which is over 75 minutes drive away, over 51 miles away! The threat letters that they issue to us seem to be in service to the appearance of the community, which in fact are very poorly timed AFTER A MAJOR HURRICANE, and nick-picking about our landscape in a very SUBJECTIVE standard. We have done our best to upkeep with the lawn and landscaping, only to receive their repeated warning/threat letters sent just after we mowed the lawn. I have been VERY DISPLEASED with C.I.A.s management style and poor relations with our community ever since I moved here 3 years ago. Every year they SURPRISINGLY FAIL my expectations as well as our neighbors!!

New to the area just purchased a home. When I called to start utilities and ask about mailbox and hoa information they just direct you to the site, calling the sites to start utilities like trash they tell you you call the hoa, its a never ending finger pointing game. Then they dont have a welcome booklet at all and youre left to figure out how to get mail. Theres no single call number to your actual hoa, only the corporate, what the hell is even the use? This is literally the worst hoa ever just a money grabbing entity

Nearly at memorial weekend and still waiting for an access key for our community pool (applied middle of April). Your systems are extremely slow and antiquated. Now I have to try and ask a friend or neighbor to get access to their pool so I can entertain my kids this weekend. Poor show CIA services. Only excepting in person visits or checks through the mail for keys. Especially when you confirm Houston mail is extremely slow. Well I guess you’re in same category aren’t you? Especially with 2-3 days to answer an email.

They do not send off payments on time. Nor do they offer direct deposit which makes it more difficult.Reply to CIA : In reference to peace officers not being able to get their payments on time for the community they are patrolling as an extra job. The payments from CIA are always late, checks cut/mailed out late. It’s been months since the payments have actually been on time and not having an option for direct deposit makes it worse.

They stopped responding to emails, never answer the phone. How am I supposed to get my key tag? About to make an hour trip up there to try to get my key tag but Im so worried with their lack of correspondence. Its really not hard to do your job properly.

Look at all the reviews, it speaks for itself. the paying customers and community has voiced their honest opinions and concerns about how horrible this company is at managing the HOA. rip off. wish we could choose another company to manage our community rather than this one.

Yikes. WHERE do I begin with this? If you are a developer and are considering using CIA Services for your neighborhood, DO NOT. I repeat, DO NOT. They charge an ungodly amount of money for minimal services. Our neighborhood has existed for three years and none of the amenities that were promised upon breaking ground are even available yet. Yet, we’ve been paying for them the whole time. The pool was finally opened LAST WEEK and will be closed at the end of this chilly month. They also want to charge us $10 for a pool pass and additional dollars for replacements or extras. HELLO, don’t we pay an HOA fee? No walking trails as promised, and a joke of a “Rec” center. Instead, they choose to send us letters about our landscapes and trash cans in the curb in TRASH DAY. We also all have smaller than average flower beds, yet they want FIFTY plants in each. And if one tiny, single weed pops up, you will 100% percent receive a letter. Developers, if you want to sell homes, please DO NOT use CIA Services. They refuse to accommodate requests from residents including adding bus stops for the children. Instead, they have to walk from the front of the neighborhood all the way to their homes. PLEASE AVOID. Customer service is VERY rude and will eventually ignore you when emailing them. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Southwinds neighborhood.

When I call about a question or concern they usually don’t have an answer or provide incorrect information. There seems to be poor communication within their team and also incomplete/inaccurate documentation in their system.9/2/23- In regards to the response, I wish the inaccurate information would’ve been that one instance. However, it was not! I believe this is an area for improvement for the company. It isn’t always best practice to excuse the behavior or apologize for it. I believe that improving the systems and service would be a better response. What im looking for is “we value your feedback and will work on improving in this area”

Absolutely ridiculous company. Im 100% about maintain your home and keep it presentable; it benefits EVERYONE. Theyre not fair / equal company. Letters for parking in the road when theyre not your vehicle. Everyone throughout the neighborhood parks on the side. Giving a letter about a trash can left out on trash day... when people are at work. WEEDS. . . Neighbor told me they have NEVER got a letter about weeds and acknowledged mine has less then theres. Ive got three letters about it weeds alone. Twice for the trash can and one was legit (first moved in). Tree planted by the builder blocking address but, that was a complete stretch in my personal opinion. Sending everyone letters about mulch needing to be replaced when the entrance to Southwinds is dry / crusty old mulch. Harassment is out of hand! Want a presentable place but, builders leave nails, loose concrete, boards, trash and sandbags throughout. Recommend not buying a home in an area that CIA Services INC. HOA suppose to keep things in line but the harassment is out of control. I wont speak on other neighbors claims but, Im probably forgetting other letters.

They are not very good at responding to violation letters or asking for a hearing in a timely manner.It seems as C.I.A. Services singles out certain property owners to give violations to; yet as I drive throughout the Parkway Forest area I see violations that are being done since I have lived here for about 10 years. So it looks like a who you know and not what is actually a true HOA violation.

They lied about certain services and security measures, but charge our HOA fees for the costs of maintaining a property that is extremely small compared to other subdivisions. I might need to reach out to a property lawyer about the stuff they charge but do not provide for homeowners.

Front desk needs a better attitude. I purchased my home in November at Atascocita trails subdivision in humble tx and paid my dues in a timely fashion only to get a very unenthusiastic front desk lady. I literally had to pull the deed to my house to verify I was the owner if thats a requirement it needs to be made known on the CIA WEBSITE NOT A POST VIA CHAT.

Needed to get my trash service setup and had already called two times prior to this, but an employee by the name of velissa went above and beyond to help me and made sure I got taken care of. She was friendly and got her job done quickly. I thank her for this!

CIA Services ignore legalities. They trespass onto private property, even going through closed gates into fenced yards. They harass with absolutely no basis. They send letters of violations for your own auto parked in your own driveway; claim your flower beds are overgrown when theres one leafless 8 runner crossing the bed border; claim shadows on the fascia board is mildew; walk your private property looking for some imagined infraction.

They are here to enforce community rules put into place by the board, and they make decisions strictly based on those rules and regulations. My family and I have been contractors for C.I.A. Services for many years now. We have had the privilege of working in Cinco Ranch II and Cross Creek Ranch for years. We have worked with many other management companies in the past and none have had standards as high as C.I.A Services. C.I.A. is without a doubt is the most professional and outstanding companies that we have had the privilege of working with. They have the most professional group of Maintenance Coordinators (Mr. Treybig, Mr. Cambell and Mr. Daniels) working for them. They are always dealing with the maintenance and upkeep for the irrigation, landscaping as well as parks, pools rec-centers and trails on a daily basis. They are constantly working with residents and H.O.A board members and the local county on projects. I am very proud to work with a company that takes pride in what they do. We have lived in our neighborhood for 4 years. I dont understand the point of having an HOA much less a property management company. We have had so many issues in our little gated community I cannot even begin to explain and this service has provided little to no help in every situation, some very scary situations. Do not use this property management service and better yet avoid HOAs all together.

When you ask to speak to someone, the attendant will insist on trying to take care of the problem without contacting the person you are trying to speak to. I wasted 10 mins giving the attendant all the information, then she said she could not help and would pass on the info. I specifically asked to speak to the rep for our subdivision, it would have saved both of us time to take my number and a message. The attendants appear to have been trained to control the conversation and to control the Home Owner. We both wasted our time. My call was VERY IMPORTANT!

We went to make a payment on 01/28/2020 around 2pm, Morgan Mitch the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional, she really needs to work on her customer service skills or maybe find another type of job. You can tell she does not like her job she doesn’t even brush her hair or tries to look presentable.

Front desk has a bad attitude even know thats there job to answer homeowners questions. I just bought the house like 3 months ago and they send me a violation notice with out even looking at the house resendly thats the most ridiculous thing I ever heard.. they send the same violation notice that was still open since 2016

Its been over 3 months ive yet to get an approval for the patio after filling out the online request form after that i was put on pending they needed more information. i sent what they are asking for....each time they request more information it takes another month to respond. they can not seem to just tell me everything they want to know in one request as of right now its still pending...

Office is open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM. No other management company offers late hours for their clients much less later phone hours. Phones are open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, with bilingual representatives.
