This is the third loan from Ascentium Capital that I received for a truck, towable lift and now a crane. Josette walked me through the process each time and was a pleasure to deal with. Rates were reasonable easy to qualify for with just an easy application form.

What started as a promising experience with Ascentium Capital quickly turned into a nightmare. Initially, they impressed me with their responsiveness and how fast their process seemed. I thought I was dealing with a competent and efficient team. Sadly, that illusion was shattered.The real issue became clear once their internal communication—or lack thereof—came into play.To make matters worse, their representative Jeremy seemed completely disconnected from the rest of the team and was actually relying on *me* to inform him of any responses I received from their own departments! I couldn’t believe it—why was I, the customer, responsible for doing their job?When I finally had enough and expressed my frustration, instead of taking accountability and working to resolve the situation, they decided to cancel the transaction entirely. No apologies, no attempt to make things right—just a complete dismissal of my time and investment. This kind of unprofessional behavior is absolutely unacceptable.Their lack of internal coordination and leadership not only delayed the process but also cost me **real money** due to missed timelines and the chaos they created. Lenders are supposed to make things easier, not harder. Ascentium Capital failed miserably on every level.If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid Ascentium Capital at all costs. This company just cost me the sell of my truck due to their unprofessional responses! Lack of response times! Not giving the proper information in a timely manner to myself and the company that was going to take over my lone. The company told me that Ascentium Capital has been their worst experience when trying to take over a loan (Transfer of Title). Him and I have called, left voicemails repeatedly for them to call us back and they never do. When we send them emails they rarely respond and when they finally do a week has passed by. Ive been trying to do a transfer of title to this company taking over my loan for almost a month now and Ascentium Capital absolutely does not care and is extremely rude on the phone to myself and the company that was going to take over my loan! They literally ran him off and due to this I now will have to have Ascentium come get the truck which means I will now have a repo on my record. I can not pay the payments any longer and this company was my only hope and last chance before my payment was due to get this truck sold. I referred Gary Crawford and Asentium Captial to one of my customers needing commercial financing. Gary jumped right on it. He was able to get them approved and helped get everything done in a very timely manner. My customer was super pleased with his service as well. I will refer them again in the future.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT utilize this service if you are a start up to early stage company and have not realized your market share. Meaning if you do not have a consistent customer page to utilize the POS system this company offers DO NOT sign up. Their sales people are very convincing but what they dont tell you is that you will be LOCKED into a contract that you can not get out of even if you never use the device and you will end up paying over $5,000 the customer service reps are very rude and the entire experience with them was absolutely horrible!

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY! I’m not one to write scathing reviews but here goes it after over 4 YEARS of frustration. Absolute worst experience ever. They work hand in hand with other companies to bury small businesses.I have a CBD business so not many point of sale systems will accept me. I was very up front about what my business does. They assured me it would all be taken care of and we won’t get shut down.4 days into using the POS, my account was shut down for, get this, selling CBD products. When I already told them what I do.That was November 2020. It’s January 2025 and they are STILL charging me even though I returned the equipment in November 2020. Of course they conveniently can’t find it.Even if I did not send the equipment back, which I did, there was a 48 month agreement. It’s month 50 and they’re still trying to charge me.Scam scam scam completely avoid them at all costs. They make zero effort to rectify and continue to scam me. Day 1,520.

Terrible company. Like others have said - they keep charging the monthly lease amount, act like you have never tried to cancel, tell you not to return the equipment, then tell you you needed to return it. We are about 7 months into paying fees that we shouldnt have to pay. That, plus the $240 charge for old, useless equipment that we were told to throw away and a $50 fee for a lease change, which as far as I tell, is for cancelling the lease at the end of the 4 year term when it was ending anyway. Do NOT do business with Ascentium Capital - you will regret it!

I have been using Ascentium Capital for almost 2 years and have been every pleased will the service. Im in my 4th year of my business and having been growing rapidly. I got loans approved from them I couldnt get anywhere else for equipment I really needed in my earlier years. The support (right now Myles) has been amazing and I can get loans approved within 3 days. My growing business is keeping my cash reserves low and being able to do 0% down is the reason Im this successful after 3.5 years of business. I wont be here without Ascentium Capital!

This company is an absolute scam and will take advantage of you if you lease a Clover from them. When your contract is up and you have paid more than 14k for a Clover they do not easily let you get out of your contract and WILL continue to deduct your monthly payment from your account. Their rep Randy L. Woods is at the helm of cheating small businesses. The bottom line is Randy, and the crew lied. I feel confident they fraud many small businesses to just collect a couple more thousand dollars.In early January 2024, my company opted to use another point of sale company due to the outrageous charges from Ascentium for the lease. This was a 3-year lease in the amount of $320 per month to lease the Clover. Hindsight, DO NOT EVER LEASE A Clover from anyone. There are better options and affordable for the small guys. Ascentium, Mr. Randy, Co. are a complete rip off.Long story short I made all the notifications, sent request to cancel forms, and completed everything needed to be done by the merchant processor and Ascentium. Ascentium requires you ship the Clover back to them or buy the machine. I opted to buy the machine because the buyout was only approximately $100. I authorized the gentleman on the phone to proceed with the $100 buyout, packed the Clover in a box, and set it on my storage shelf in the back of my store. I specifically asked the Ascentium rep if I could mayber later use the Clover and he said yes in the future you can use the device since you own it. PERFECT FOR ME!Ascentium continued to deduct my account for $320 for sevaral months to the tune of almost $2000. Yes, it is my fault I did not notice the charges earlier but Ascentium should have made this right. Instead Randy L. Woods LIED! He said he wasnt aware of any buyout. Being the snake that he is he allowed me to once again terminate my contract and sent a confirmation letter.Lesson to learn! DO NOT TRUST anyone when cancelling contracts especially the snakes in the financial/point of sale industry. Do not lease a Clover EVER! Its a waste of money and you are supporting big corporate douches like Ascentium. Now the Clover sits on the shelf and it cost me almost $2000 extra!This review is to warn other small businesses to not do any business with Ascentium and do not ever lease a Clover. They are BOTH a rip off!

We send over what equipment we need with invoice of the purchase, COI, shipping if needed and boom she goes to work. Worst company. Total scam artists. Should be called rob you blind inc. do your self a favor and run and hide from these Crooks. They get you locked into a 4-year contract that really never ends. Ive been paying him $200 a month for some worthless equipment that we never use for 4 years now. When the lease is over they just Auto renew it and keep charging you. When you cancel they ask you to send there worthless equipment that is only worth about $800 when new that I have had for 4 years and already paid $9600 for them. When you send it back to them they say they never received it. Then they keep charging you $200 basically forever. I called again and cancelled over the phone and they say its $800 for their equipment so I said okay charge me that and cancel the account. But guess what they dont cancel the account and keep charging me $200 again per month for 3 more months. So I called again and they say $800 so I say ok and lets see if they really cancellel my account. We are a small business and cant afford to be giving away money to these crooks.

This company is the worst. They are unprofessional, their products are horrible and theyre inconsiderate of their loyal customers. Their representatives sounds like they are hired off the street with no experience in dealing with people and have no desire to work or speak with customers. All they do is transfer information and provide no real feedback. Whoever is doing the actual work behind the scenes, has no consideration for the relationship between them and their business customers. After 4 years of paying a compounded interest rate loan, they would not consider the most minimal discount on a pay-off that would put a the money in their account a year ahead of time. I wired the pay-off anyhow because I wanted to end my relationship with them and then they sat on the wire. I emailed them confirmation of the wire and called them and they said they will get to it when they get to the emails and then will let their finance department know and then they will check for the wire. No expectation of when that would occur when the money had already been sent! They are ridiculous. I will never do business with them again and I hope anyone who reads this does not do business with them either.

Runaway and hide from these guys this is the worst company to get financing from. They are scam artists and will rip you off by having you sign contracts that are never ending meaning they give you credit card processing machines and charge you basically $10,000 for them in 200.00 a month payments . If you were to buy them out right it would only cost around $800 Then after the end of the 4 year lease they will keep charging you $200 a month forever if you dont call them to cancel. Then they say you cant cancel unless you return the 4 year old cheap equipment they leased to you. When you send to them they say you never sent it. So you have to pay them another $800 on top of the $10,000 to finally get out of the contract. They never give you any statements or Mail to inform you what you owe or how long to payoff just keep charging you forever. Please dont be foolish like me and sign up with them you will only regret all the money youre wasting. And help fund crooks.Update on my review. They still have not canceled my account and theyre still charging me $200 a month. I called back and ask them why they havent canceled they told me I never did. And theyre going to charge me another $800 to cancel I said what about the 3 months that Ive been giving you $200 a month for free that doesnt matter. They say no it doesnt matter. Lets see if these guys finally cancel my account I wish there was a class action lawsuit against them. I would sign up in a heartbeat.

I will never use this company again. They financed a chipper to me and it ended up being a false advertisement from the dealer! When I called Robert Montgomery was one of the rudest Sidist person I’ve ever met told me that I could not return it that it was my fault and told me hey if you go into a Ford dealership and walk out with a Chevy that’s your own fault is what he said to me, I still have the wood chipper for two years now never even used it and I pay $600 a month for it and they won’t even lower the finance rate either will never ever recommend or use this company again

Ascentium has been great for our business. They have funded many deals for our customers who bought carpet cleaning equipment. Michael is always on top of anything that needs to be done to close the deal. They are very easy to work with and knowledgeable.

This company lacks organization. The payments that we sent two weeks early were not deposited until more than a week after they received. And so they love to make that extra late charge. We paid them off and switched companies. The rude guy (starts with Car---) calls demanding payment because he doesnt seem to know it was paid off. Watch out for the late fee scam!

If I could 0 stars I would. I signed a lease for a 250 dollar terminal foe 3 yrs at 92.00 a month. Thats 3,312.00 dollars over 3 years. I finally realized that I had been paying this fee although i had already switched companies and met the lease agreement and the auto renewed my contract. So I called and they said I had to pay 408.00 dollars to cancel!! I have already sent the terminal back and emailed them to cancel and im still here fighting to cancel and they still want more. Crooks and Scammers!! Beware of this company!!!!

Beware! This company has a never ending lease. Canceled my service sent back the machine. $3000 and 8 months later they were still charging our account monthly. Refused to provide me with any information other than paying more money to opt out of their service. So we payed them for the cost of the missing machine that we had already sent back to them for $760 plus a cancelation fee.

I tried financing a snowplow from them. Luckily I have several other loans so I was being careful about how much I was going to pay. $7500 for a plow and install, that’s fine. It was going to be a 55 month term. They were going to make me pay 336.60 a month for this plow… take that times 55 months and it’s $18,513 total……..

Worst bank I have ever financed with, took them almost 4 months to send me my paperwork so I could register my trailer, now the trailer is paid off, they said 24 to 48 hours for them to release the title, it’s been over that and they have no update on when my title will be shipped, they were quick to finance me and take my money, also gave me false information before I signed the paper work, I went to pay it off and there was extra fees applied., I contacted Cody Nestor about my title and have not heard back from him either, I would not recommend this bank to anyone. Very unprofessional. GO ELSEWHERE. Not worth the stress, I’ve asked for a manager multiple times and I keep getting voicemails. This company sucks

Our business caught fire due to the restaurant next door to us. We attempted to contact this company Regarding our situation and no one has ever contacted us. Now they sent us to collections They have our incorrect address from 5 years ago and never update it as well! They have never tried to email or call us. The customer service doesn’t exists! Don’t use then for your credit card machine!!!

Its a rip off scam!!!!I think their business practice is awful and possibly illegal in California. The contract does not list the purchase price of the equipment, the interest rate and or other fees.Their online Butler wont give information needed and the live customer service cant answer the pay off amount.I looked up the piece of equipment purchased on line is $5400. Ascentium Capital charged us $11,504.28 Be very aware before you contract with them.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. If you made it here and were smart enough to check their reviews before signing on with them, you saved yourself a lot of trouble. I purchased a van from a small time car dealer who set me up with Ascentium for the loan. The purchase price of the van was $20,000. I called after a year of payments (12) to see where was at on the loan. They said my balance was over $23,000 and the total payoff amount is $28,000. THATS 40% INTEREST. But they dont call it interest.Its the cost of the van, plus finance charges Which is 40%! So basically they use a loophole by not calling it interest they can charge whatever they want.I also found out they have been charging me $165 dollars a month in insurance fees. I have insurance on the van and had emailed it to them at the start of the loan.They got me but now I know theres companies like this out there.In closing this is a predatory loan company

They trap you into a 4 year contract for a piece of equipment that costs a fraction of what you end up paying for it. When you cancel, they will continue to remove funds from your bank account until you prove that youve returned the equipment to them. They will then take their sweet time returning your money to you. I see why they have a lousy rating!

I wish to put a ZERO. STAY AWAY if you decide to purchase a vehicle or track from Penske and take a loan from Ascentium. Nothing in writing from Ascentium, even when you login into your account - no rate, no payoff schedule, no contract, nothing. The worst customer service ever. When Penske asked for $12,000 deposit, we assumed it went towards the cost of the truck, BUT NOT. Those money went to the interest paid upfront with the first payment. Nobody will tell you that!!! We realized it after we purchase a truck. NEVER AGAIN!!I wish Ascentium to lose all the money they got to screw people.

Complete waste of time. Their sales guys call you over and over asking for your business then blow you off for days with no reply when they give you a chance. Shawn Williams is useless. Go with a lender that knows how to lend money…these guys suck.

High interest rate. Dont expect any help from them in difficult times. They dont refinance or make arrangements or tranfer loan to a new buyer, they didnt take credit card payments if so they charge a 10%. Dealership put you in this lender with no advise.Update: You answer review telling to call for answer questions after I write a review. Why not just hear customers when they call trying to have a solution??

Scam company. Have been trying to get a corrected payoff for 2 months without success. Not sure how you can be a lender and not get a correct payoff. Have been in touch with our sales rep, his manager and customer service. Have documentation via email that there are no early payoff penalties, yet they added in random fees on the back side to payoff calling them loan fees, even though we paid a loan fee up front. Was told by our sales rep the payoff is wrong and that those fees aren’t supposed to be on there and yet I just received a payoff amount today that is the exact same as the previous one. He is saying it’s a system problem and how things are entered in. Exhausted and cutting our losses just to be done with this company! BEWARE!Tell your medical sales rep to use another company when purchasing!!

If you are a small business owner, I hope you read these reviews prior to working with this predator company. NOTHING that they say can be taken at faceview, read the fine print with a fine tooth comb if you think you have to use them. I would NOT recommend them, try talking to a local bank. First, the amount of your loan is the price of the equipment plus all the interest for the life of the loan, so this is not truly a revolving loan for your equipment price. They model it like this as a trick. So, Dont think you can refinance what is owed on the equipment later for better rates or better service you CANT, you have to refinance the equipment + every penny of the profit they would make for the entire loan. (Yeah, why would this be a good ideal!!!!!) Lastly, I really would like to meet the business owner that gave this company a five star review. It is like giving Rent-A-Center a five star review for enabling you to buy that $250 computer for the low price of $2750.

Still getting $79 and more pulled from my bank account every month for many years now. It is never ending. I have never even used the machine once. I signed up for credit card processing under another scam company. That company had promised to buy this out at any point in time if I was not happy. They did not keep up with their end of the bargain so this company pins it on me. There were 4 companies pulling money from my account. Everyone dropped it except for this company. Still the saga goes on with Ascentium. When all is said and done, I will have paid thousands and still never even used the machine. Let me get this straight. You partner with another scam company and think it is ok. Shame on you for ruining business owners. I would steer clear them. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING.

Horrible experience working with them. I am financing a luxury restroom trailer with them and I had the trailer for over a month before getting information on the registration they were supposed to be doing for the trailer. Then, anytime I have a question and i ask my finance manager, someone else always replies and sends me to someone else for the answers. I also have to provide insurance coverage on my trailer, as expected, but when I went and got insurance through my insurance company, I get a letter saying that didnt cover everything it was supposed to, but no information on what is missing. Everything with them is on their own sweet time, but if they need something from me, I better do it right then or there will be penalties.

I have had a lease for a credit card machine for 4 years. I could have purchased this 20 times over @ $59.95 per month. Now the lease is up, Im on hold forever to be sure they cancel the lease since theyve deducted the payment, yet again. They are a serious rip off company.

UPDATE: Company is not resolving it so far. They claim the contract says they can add any fees they deem necessary to my contracted price.Be warned this company is a scam! My agreement for 24 months ON A PURCHASE not a LEASE was completed and they still are charging my account. Claiming I have to now purchase the equipment. But HELLO THE financing was on a purchase! I have the purchase receipt for the machine with sales tax included to prove that it was a purchase. Craig Collings is the sales rep and he DOES NOT answer any phone calls or respond to voicemails. We have now paid almost $1000 over the sales agreement. This is absurd my bank actually agreed we me and is treating payment as fraud to stop any further ACH transactions.

We have a client working with Ascentium and their Funding Instructions are not as they say. They slow walked the check and the customer had to pay with their own credit card in order to pick up their vehicle. Raul Harnasch, VP of Sales is condescending and not a man of his word. 48 month lease ended they wait two and start charging me again. I call in and even though we are Using Chase Checkout because we stopped using their equipment. Dont use finace companies for your business they will overcharge you period. Use Banks and Credit Unions.

BEWARE! This company will not let you terminate their ridiculous lease agreement even after you return equipment and do everything that they request of you in order to terminate. BEWARE! We purchased a PACS system that used this company for billing. Weve paid them over $24,000 within two years and the PACS system filed bankruptcy in Nov. 2022, and we had to go with another company. Ive contacted this company well over 5 times to try to terminate the contract because we no longer use the software for the agreement that was signed. We are contacting attorneys to try to break this contract, but its been ridiculous trying to work their team to get this terminated. I just keep getting a response that its non-cancelable. What a slimly business model. BEWARE!!

The cost of this machine and the term of the lease was mislead by the person that setup our account. In the ps two years I have learned a great deal about the actual cost of these units and what the lease has us paying shows how as a business person do not trust the card processing sales company pushing there services. I was told straight up we were not doing any kind of lease agreement for any equipment, and i failed to look at all the pepper work. When I contacted the lease company after receiving the first statement and changes, I was informed it was a 4 year lease with no cancellation options. They also informed me that at the end of this lease if they are not notified two months prior to the lease end it will automatically renew and that they will Not send any notice of this upcoming date. The person that I spoke with in customer service was not someone I would have speaking with customers reaching out to our business. Think long and hard about this company, read everything thing, question everything.

BEWARE. Do NOT do business with these scammers. I was never told about a lease agreement when I signed up for payment processing. Then after money was drafted out of my account, I called to find out why and was told I was in a contract for 4 YEARS on leasing the equipment. You can buy the equipment for a few hundred dollars all day. Theyre stealing $60 a month for this tiny machine. Then on top of that they will charge you $150 once a year as a TAX for it having it. They will not work with you at all. This has been a terrible experience. And I cannot wait until this scam of a contract is over so they cant steal any more of my hard-earned money.

I payoff my truck in Dec 29,2023. But after three month still waiting for title . Call bank many time but not any positive response .i call 4 time and send email three time every time same answer wait for 4 to 6 week but almost 12 week gone

If youre looking for great communication, and great customer service, this is not the bank to do business with. Terrible problem solving skills, they dont listen to comprehend. Definitely bad when you reach out to the VP Alex Depping as a concern customer nothing still gets resolved.
