Dorel Laredo Apartments

I was VERY happy I moved out of the Dorel a few months ago. This place is no joke when it comes to an infestation of roaches. They charge for pest control and they show up in your building once every 2 or 3 months to simply spray water. I even saw multiple instances where the pest control staff just parked outside and then left. I once asked them if they can spray outside around the stairs and they said they couldnt due to their contract. The Pest Control man also told me that I should move and clean behind the fridge when he left and wow! I had never seen anything like what I saw. And yes I did inform the office about this and they simply neglect the multiple times you tell them about this issue. These apartments wouldve been great to live in if they simply focused on real professional pest control and not send staff running to the apartment right before signing the lease so they can kill roaches and hide the evidence. If you move here, check all the outlets from within the wall and behind the appliances, TRUST me. Also, the amount of people feeding stray dogs and cats is incredible. I normally do not leave bad reviews but people do NOT deserve to sign up for this horrific apartment complex...ESPECIALLY with the high rent charges, just not worth it. AND Remember folks, CHECK everything!! Even stains on the ceiling and walls of squashed roaches.Also, the gym equipment is all broken, they never wash the stairs and for whatever reason, trucks and cars are honking all night and day as if they have some kind of malfunction. The Gates probably work a few days out of the month too.

Love my place. Its cute and quiet and staff is always super friendly. My pup love to run around in the grass and neighbors are polite and private.

The atmosphere here is really nice, I loved the pools and maintenance keeps the property pretty clean. Our apartment was beautiful and we really like dorel but there are a few downsides. We had a really bad roach problem in our apartment, baby roaches were all over our kitchen. A few times theyd be in my food as well 😐 yeah not pleasant. Everytime we needed to cook wed have to inspect everything and rewash all the pans right before. The gyms are trash not gonna lie. Youd figure for the amount you pay every month theyd have some decent equipment but everything is broken. If youre a runner youd love the gym tho bc the treadmills are really all they have. Honestly I dont think Id live here again but we had a good time here overall except towards the end.

Roach infestation yet we pay for weekly fumigation. Gym is always broken. Gated community is not so gated when one gate never closes. One of the exits is locked so we can’t use it. The staff never know anything. It’s always one thing or another.

From the moment I stepped into the front office to inquire about a place to live and being greeted warmly to three years later, I have felt very satisfied. Happy, in fact. I just renewed my contract for a second time and always for the maximum time allowed. Beyond the consistently helpful responses from the staff, I appreciate the celebration of the holidays with the gift of their time, decorations, and goodies shared with tenants and their children. The entire place is beautifully green, quiet, well-maintained, and free of pests. I am an older person, live alone, and have always felt safe. If maintenance is required, the response is swift.

The gym facilities could use a lot of fixing, they should designate pet friendly apts instead of mixing also they could remove the bedroom carpets it’s unsanitary to keep them for ppl who have allergies or animals. The bathrooms by the pool areas and gyms have been permanently closed for years.

It’s a big complex but feels homey. Although it’s big the staff do a great job keeping up with things here. I’ve had to request maintenance and have not had a problem with response time. Response to request for maintenance are promptly taken care of each time I have called. Thanks!

I do not know what happened from 5 months ago to now but this property has gone down. The trash in pictures are not from tenants it is trash from property management. Used mattresses and appliances are visible on premises. For a business that classified as a luxury apartment this does not meet. I have been a resident for 3 years will not be renewing my lease. Only one pool is available for use and it appears no work has been done on the other two. It is said to be ready by next month but progress seems slow. Back Apartments has had half of their parking removed since December 2020 and no update has been given as to when more parking will be added. Yard work is only done in the front and visible to general public. Maintenance needs to be requested for non visible are. Management response is always if we do not like it we can complaint to the email at the management company. If you truly looking for luxury look somewhere else.

The property is beautiful with many amenities. Washer and Dryer in unit. Very helpful staff.

Work order was placed on Tuesday evening and job was completed by Wednesday 10 am. Excellent job and friendly maintenance workers. Thank you!😊 🙏🏼

Okay. Several maintenance issues have not been resolved after a year or more of requesting. Pest infestation, gym still in poor condition, limited parking. Only reason I give them an average rating.

Outdated poorly managed and inside the apartmentment, everything is rusted , and walls have millions of coats of latex paint that come right off. The floors scratched and old. Outside throughout the property trash, everywhere were some people,feel the they do not need to close the trash bin door, and wild life had acces to trash and made more mess. I was on the first floor, and a hard smell of Marijuana would seep through the top floor ac vents that would make my apartment smell horrible.Also roaches,mosquitos,flies and insects constantly in my apartment and supposedly they have scheduled pest control.The rent is overpriced and termination dates and fees are ridiculous Thank God I am moving out of this senior home living type of apartment. Save your money, go look somewhere else. -stars

One of the worst places I’ve ever lived in my life. The first unit I had, had a roach infestation. I dealt with the issue knowing things can happen. They eventually moved me to a new unit and I experienced an unbelievable amount of mold. The pics are below. The management was absolutely awful and failed to give me my security deposit back on time. After two months of constantly calling and asking for updates. I am now receiving it 2 and a half months later. If you have to choose somewhere to live. Be sure to make sure this is not the place!!!! If I could give it no stars I would.

Current Resident. When I first moved in, in 2021, management was not great at communication. They would lie constantly just to get you to sign. NOW, we NEW have amazing leasing staff! Everything that was not taken care of at the beginning of our lease, has now been taken care of by the new leasing staff. They are 100% transparent & have great communication. The pools are always clean. If you put in a maintenance request, they come the following day. I just wish they would power wash the floors, there are stains on concrete & have dirt, trash, rocks on all floors. Also, we don’t have problem with parking. I would suggest to clean the dirt and rocks off the parking lot. But other than that, it’s a great place to live.

Mixed reviews about Dorel. Lived there for three years. We made some good memories, and had some bad ones. But in the end our daily commute, and the property as a whole had lost its luxury When we first moved in 2020 we were excited it was under different management. The apartment wasnt ready there was no sink installed, and the floor was full of paint stains. And the edges of cabinets, and doors were painted by someone In a hurry. Or didnt know how to paint. The amenities are nice if you take advantage of them. But that in its self was something people who didnt live there would take advantage of. People that didnt live there, and talking mainly the pools and gyms. That never seemed fair to me as the tenets pay their fair share. The community isnt exactly cheap But the main gate was out of service, and open a solid 50 to 60% of the time.(Over a three year period) am being generous. So anyone would go in and just use the pools. The rules would be enforced here and there but nothing consistent. When the new company took over. I thought maybe things might change but no. More of the same, and not to mention the parking situation is a huge mess as well fyi. My kids did enjoy the basketball count and the park. And my family and I were just not getting our moneys worth. The maintenance team isnt 100% reliable. Not trying to nit pick but just sharing consistent trends across a 3 year stay. We will miss our neighbors I lucky enough to have great neighbors. I also felt like the community as a whole just had lost its touch, and had lower the standards across the board. I know the staff does what they can with the resources they are given. But for a Luxury community I always expected more bang for our buck. Hope this helps. If you read through this thanks :😀

LOVE LOVE LOVE LIVING HERE! it’s been well maintained living here and management is always so good. The ladies in the front are always so kind and friendly whenever it comes to needing something. I got to admit they are always so clean as well!

Been living in these apartments for over 3 years. Love the pools, the access to many stores, how close my kids school is and highways. Just upgraded to a 3 bedroom and the floor plan is very spacious and has great ambient. Very homey feel with a friendly front office that are always willing to help with any issues with the apartment. Will definitely be recommending this place to anyone looking for an apartment. Forgot to mention they are law enforcement friendly and as a disabled retired army veteran, it helps to relate with my neighbors.Would suggest doing something about the parking, since I have seen people park their vehicles in handicap spots due to an unfinished parking lot in back area. Other than that, this place is amazing and upscale with great rental rates. 🙏😊🤗

Moved in February and was only there 5 months, they will charge you for everything and anything when you decide to move out was lucky to get a small percent of my deposit. Make sure you take pictures and recorded previous damages on your apartment before they screw you over. Parking is terrible there too, they don’t regulate anything.

I HATED MY HERE STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the worse experience here, upon our move in our A/C went out and they didn’t fix it for more than 2 weeks and when we moved in they did not have our apartment cleaned at all. Dead bugs, rat feces and past pet hair sitting in every corner of the place. We brought it up with the front multiple times, and they never showed any urgency with the matter. This place is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. I moved out as soon as I could, and when I finally was able to, they charged me thru the roof with unexplainable fees. This is 110% the worst apartments complex I’ve ever experience. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE NOT EVEN PIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On move out day they lost my Damage sheet and now are charging me $600 dollars plus in damages that were listed on my damage sheet back when I first moved in. Showed them proof of cleaning services and are still charging me for carpet cleaning. Good luck moving out from here ☠️You can forget about your security deposit.

Been here over 5 years now, never had a real issue other than parking when the back lot got blocked off. Everything else has been good for me, maintenance request get fixed quickly and unit has been good for me.

Maintenance sucks. Under qualified individuals. Always place the issues was resolved when it wasn’t. Have to resubmit orders. I believe they’re lazy. Roaches are so hard to get rid of. It took them over a month after we moved in to get help with the roaches due to the complex not having a fumigating schedule or contracted company to do so. Moving ac needed repair, dryer, bathroom sinks, and bathtub due to flooding, and now we only get hot water for less than 10 minutes. There’s a severe parking space problem and there’s individuals stealing packages. Not feeling very safe here lately. Gym equipment broken and pools are not taken care of.

I’ve lived at the Dorel for two years and I’ve been very pleased. The amenities are amazing! You get so much and the rent is still reasonable. The complex now has a security unit that monitors nighttime activity and that has made me personally feel safer. It’s great to stand out on my balcony and enjoy the view. The staff is friendly and helpful and have always addressed any concerns I have had. Highly recommend this complex!

Awful! Maintenance takes forever to complete a d when they do, the Maintenance workers often steal from you! Then, when you bring it up with a police report, they refuse to do anything about it. Multiple people have been stolen from with video/pucture proof but they dont care. They hire the cheapest laborers that can barely get the job done. Ive never lived in an apartment complex that cared so little about their tenants. Its absolutely a disgrace. One person even had their $12,000 ring stolen that he was gonna propose to his girlfriend with and the apartment managers practically laughed at him! This place is awful, you should avoid it like the plague....

When we toured the facilities they were very clean, organized and the staff was very helpful. We were very impressed and will be putting them in the ready to move in list. The grounds were impeccable and very nice. Clean fresh look everywhere. More importantly we felt safe. The Apartments are very affordable and clean. The upgrades done are wonderful... I especially loved the wooden floor floors. We were able to view apartments online... In person was even better. Thank you for your help in showing us the place.

Do not move here unless you want all your stuff stolen. I know 4 people that have had $20,000+ worth of stuff stolen in the past month. When confronting the front office about the issue all we get is “well we have the gate” or “there’s a security guard”. I’ve never once seen a security guard and yet everyone’s stuff keeps disappearing.

I’ve moved in here a few months back. Unsanitary with mold painted over, water leaks constantly everywhere across the complex, issues not being fixed from the staff, any chance they get they will try and charge you with extra fees for no reason, and there’s been items stolen from other residents. Staff will do anything in their power to cover up/avoid any sort of legality issues and threaten to sue if you decided to take it to the courts. Would stand clear of this apartment complex, if I had the option to put half a star I would of.

My sister lives their and she is infested with roaches. They have no phone number for HQ. My sister cannot have visitors she is embarrassed that a roach will appear. She called numeros times. and has placed several bombs and bought raid cans things to help with this issue. Not worth it

Its been good and mostly comfortable living here, theres always some ups and downs. Rent increases each year, parking has gotten very limited(often having no parking space and gotten a ticket for that), maintenance responds to issues in timely manner, sometimes noisy and sometimes quiet, some resident seems nice, theres a trend of dogs pooping at certain area near my building, bbq grill and picnic table are convenient, I can think of 2 staff members I would prefer talking to because of their professionalism (R. Trevino and M.J. Gonzalez). Overall its been good years living here.

Moving here with my family has been the best decision I’ve made. I’m a current stay at home mom and full time student so home is my main work space 24/7. My husband works full time so I’m normally alone during the day and I couldn’t be happier with my experience since being here. The community is great and the staff here are wonderful and so helpful! There is one staff member in particular who I wish to recognize for going over the top, Miss Ivory, who has done an amazing job at addressing my every concern, checking in when available and just overall being a very helping hand when needed and all with a super welcoming and positive attitude!!!⭐️ Overall very pleased with the staff, and the awesome community/environment! I’d recommend to anyone, anytime!- A very happy resident

My spouse and I, along with our daughter, moved here 4 months ago- we love it! Our apartment is updated, clean, and we enjoy the facilities included (parks, pools, gyms). The atmosphere is calm, quiet, and family oriented. Very happy we chose to live here!

Continues to be a bad place! Talk about harassment. We had a maintenance order in place because once again our shower doesn’t work. I’m Pregnant and had to use the restroom, then maintenance arrived at the time I was using the restroom & proceeded with banging on my front door and then he had the audacity to come our bedroom window and kept on knocking harshly. My anxiety went so high I completely shut down for the rest of the day. Oh and they placed the work order as completed when all they did was disturb the peace.

The Dorel Laredo is a great place to live! We moved here from Utah and had no idea what to expect. We set everything up over the phone without ever even coming here before applying or beginning the rental process. We were so pleasantly surprised with the appearance and service of management, we were so relived when we arrived. There was a very small issue of our apartment not being ready by the time we got here, and management was SO helpful and over the top with offering services and compensation for our inconvenience, which really wasnt very big. They were so kind and helpful in our process, and always very informative. We are so glad we were able to live here. We had two gyms and two pools practically outside our door, along with several parks and areas for our 2 year old son to play. If we werent moving back to Utah wed stay here forever!

I moved into the Dorel Apartments last August and may I say that it has been a delightful experience. Right after moving in leasing consultant, Miss Alanis Ortiz, made feel extremely welcomed. The staff overall are beyond wonderful with all tenants. They are quick in answering your questions. Will definitely be renewing my lease.

Nice apartments, but we pay for an extra car and get no parking spot whatsoever. There is an empty parking lot that is blocked off by the complex and cant be used which is why people park in handicap spots or red line spots then end up getting a towing warning. There are always a lot of little charges we arent told about so our rent isnt really what was advertised to us. The spaces are small, not worth the price.

Weve helped many tenants move in and move out and have always seen he apartments themselves are spacious and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend Dorel Apartments to anyone looking for a great place to live in Laredo.

Living here is like living in hell! The walls are thin and you can hear everything the people are saying and doing (if you catch my drift) next door. The maintenance crew steals your stuff when your not there and the front office doesnt help or care! Id rather sleep in an HIV infested homeless camp then live here again.

I love living at Dorel apartments. They act quickly and efficiently when you have a problem. The only down problem is loud auto radios.

I just moved into Dorel Laredo apartment a month ago and Im loving it! The overall service is awesome, the maintenance guys do a great job, the environment is really beautiful, and Victoria at the leasing office is amazing :-)

I moved in July of 2021, I have never had issues with my apartment. Their maintenance is always on time. They provide us with events to participate in which I’ve never heard or seen from any other apartments. I love it here.

Manager Rochelle was very informative and helpful. Great attitude, made me feel very welcome. Nice gated community and grounds are well maintained. Comfortable and safe with easy access to Zapata Hwy and “La Pulga.”I had to deal with the maintenance people about three times so far but they’ve been so quick to respond and get things fixed. I couldn’t be happier.some holiday weekends it can get loud but it was never an issue or went on too late. you can always see the fireworks so good from here

Had my brother stop by to visit me for less than an hour and he got a parking violation. I called the office to ask why and apparently they stated his truck was parked in the same spot since yesterday morning. How is that possible when he doesn’t live here and works? Parking enforcement should be done at night when parking is horrible instead of the day especially when it’s being done inaccurately. I’m all for parking enforcement since parking gets crazy but it should be done accurately. Spoke to Kristelle and she said a violation will be given if a vehicle is parked for 2 days or more..I was home during lunch and a truck that got there after me got a violation as well…Other than this incident new management is much better than previous management.

Excellent place to live! Me and my family love our apartment 2 bedroom 2 bath very spacious for us!! We feel comfortable living at The Dorel Laredo Apartments. The community is great, very friendly neighbors and peace place to live. Staff members are very nice .

The whole experience has been great. I just received a self guide tour by Mariela ( Leasing agent) she was great and kind. I have been interested in moving here since October. Rochelle (the manager) has been so kind and informative about everything. Hope I get to move in soon and call it my home.

DO NOT LEASE HERE!My boyfriend and I moved in here December 2014. Our first experience here was bad and we would have moved out, but extraneous circumstances occurred right before our lease was up, so we had to re-lease for another 6 months. Ill break it down for you:Customer Service:When you first view the property and interact with the staff, they seem friendly and courteous; thats all a lie. There is always new staff there and no one really seems to know what anyone else is doing so good luck getting any help when you need issues resolved. Forget common courtesy while youre at it. Its apparently not the staffs responsibility to notify residents of packages even though it was signed for by them. The obvious answer would be that they dont sign for the packages at all and just let the delivery vans through, but instead theyll sign for your package and then turn around and tell you that its not their problem if residents dont know that theyre package had been delivered to the leasing office.Maintenance:EVERYTHING breaks, and I mean everything. During our 6 months, we had a fridge handle break off and we reported it to maintenance. We waited 8 months before we received a new one. We also had a drawer break off. Maintenances idea of fixing it meant screwing it on upside down and crooked! It took them 2 1/2 months to fix some extractor vents in the bathroom, and when our deadbolt broke (yes it broke! how crummy can their workmanship get?!) maintenance replaced it with a new one, but put it on upside down! We ended up fixing it ourselves.Property:There are 2 gyms and 3 pools. The pool area is always clean so Ill give them that, but be prepared for the rest of South Laredo to enjoy your swimming pool as well. The gyms are missing equipment or has broken and unusable equipment. Those who maintain the property do replace trash cans, but they definitely dont do it enough. Ive never seen another resident pick up after their pets so watch where you step. Also, earlier this year the property switched from normal sized dumpsters to the small half size; Im not sure if this is a city mandate or not, but now the dumpsters are always overflowing with bags of garbage. Can you say stray animals and rodents?Overall:I wouldnt live here ever again. The prices are going up so its definitely not worth it; at any price! The community is beautiful, but everything else makes it the worst place to live.

I am revising my giant wall of text. I originally gave this apartment complex a 2 star review. For almost a year (I believe), they have had a new management staff. Things have improved GREATLY. The staff is friendly and replies to emails promptly. The property is beautiful as ever, but they are making improvements (such as a dog walk area with poopy bags). They are fixing up the apartments slowly and many are falling into disrepair from the previous owners. For instance, my apartment building had the sign fall off and my window sill on the outside is cracked. The management is the ONLY reason why I gave this location a poor review and I feel they have now earned a five star review for their stellar improvements.

We love living here! It’s a great community and perfect for pets. Our puppy loves it here, it’s a very peaceful environment and the girls from the office are amazing! Thank you for all the hard work y’all do :)!

Dont know how weve managed to live here for so long. The apartments are nice at first view... However, when looking closely you can see where they cut corners. Cheaply made. Office personnel is rude and unprofessional. They dont answer the phones. The dont get back to you when you leave a VM or send an email. I literally had to walk to the leasing office to speak to someone after not getting a call back as promised, and calling but phones are not answered. Needless to say, because of this, it takes forever to get any maintenance issues resolved. The gym is always filthy. Two machines are not working, I have reported it, and was told they would be fixed.... But no, nothing. As far as the pool goes, most of the times its being used by random people who come with their families who dont even live here and is always packed. This could be a great community if it was under better management.

I’ve been living here since mid July 2019 and the service has been great! I once called the front admin for a broken A/C and they sent a maintenance crew that same day. I love the privacy and amenities Dorel has to offer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to rent.

The positive reviews must be for the other Dorel locations or entirely fabricated. Do yourself a favor and live closer to International/McPherson (North side) in Laredo. The apartment community is overpriced and isnt really located in a decent area. The apartments are cheaply designed and you can tell where corners were cut. Management turnover is pretty high and the lease renewal specials are a joke. The main office is filled with incompetence no matter who you communicate with. The Dorel Laredo recently switched from the larger trash dumpsters to smaller ones. Because of this, trash is constantly overflowing. Good luck on finding a place to park if youre an actual resident. Most of the parking spaces are taken by non-residents using the pools. On a positive note, the maintenance and groundskeepers do an excellent job. Even though if its like rearranging chairs on the titanic. I cannot recommend the Dorel Laredo to any current or future resident of Laredo, Texas.

Renewed our lease, we are happy so we are staying here for a bit. Staff is friendly and very attentive.

THE BEST, & luxurious apartment ! We’ve been here almost a year now, and have had nothing but GOOD experiences. The complex is always well tended to, the office staff is very friendly, and we have always had prompt response on our service requests .

The Dorel Apartments are a brand new gated apartment building in Killeen. Very clean, quiet and private. Management is very responsive and tries to keep rules in place that keep things neat and orderly. Great pool for the kids or one that is more for adults. Two fitness areas and one pet friendly building. There is even a set of garden apartments, although they are not in the gated area.

Dont let their tour bedroom fool you not all their apartments look that nice. The rent is about $1000 and I have to put a ticket in to fix wiring issues almost every two weeks and I have to wait about 4 - 5 days each time for someone to come. Currently half my apartment has no light and power due to the electrical issues. The swimming pool is ok but gets over run with people who dont live at The Dorel. Also when you come take a tour you NEED an ID and I remember I didnt have one so they didnt let me take the tour because of safety risks, but the gate has been busted for the 4 months I have lived here so anyone can come in. Parking sucks there are no assigned spots so I did the math, in front of my apartment theres twenty spaces but the apartment building I live in has at least twenty apartments but the lot is shared so I always have to park further from home and walk so carrying groceries is a pain especially if you dont live on the ground floor.

Since day one that I got a tour I knew I wanted to live here. Its hassle free, and totally reasonable for the price. any questions that you need or are hesitant about ask and they will help you. Great Amenities, pools, parks, and gyms. Definitely recommend.

I lived at the dorel for more than 5 years. Ive seen people come and go including management. I actually moved from one dorel apartment to another. I honestly had a good experience overall. I ended up buying a home, so I had to leave the dorel. Towards the end, there were some issues with my apartment that were not resolved from the previous management and it seemed like I was going to get screwed and fall through the cracks. I did not want to leave with a bad taste in my mouth. But I spoke with the new management and they helped me out. Thank you Josh and your team!

I was going to lease an apartment and decided not to last minute. A Lady by the name.of Val I believe said I would get my deposit check for $250 back within 30 days. Its been to months. When I called this morning I was told that the reason why my deposit check wasnt in the mail was because my application was t cancelled. So Val lied to me. Dorel Apartments are you trying to steal my money?

Thanks to Elsa and Brianna for the great, customer service, extremely friendly and patient. They did their job ASAP. Really recommend these apartments. So much space in the rooms, nice balcony view, and fun amenities for kids.

I would not recommend this place, yes the apartments are pleasing to look at but they do not adequately provide enough parking for the residents. Night after night I see more than half of the residents illegally parked, but the apartment complex still chooses to put warning stickers on vehicles for towing. This is the fault of the complex that they failed to provide enough parking spaces. I guess they dont make enough money to provide adequate parking even though they charge ridiculous prices! $880 for a 1 bedroom 1 bath! I would NOT recommend this place to any of my fellow LEOS, buy a house its cheaper.

I would actually give no star, worst apartment complex ever!!! Please go look for another place if possible please. Horrible Customer service, staff are rude and at no help at all. They never answer the phone, maintenance is horrible. The gym is missing equipment or sometimes the equipment doesnt even work, summertime comes enjoy the pools because once they get dirty you will have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to clean it. The apartment are cheaply made, things might be okay the first few months but after you find things breaking or falling apart and dont even bother calling for help because they will never get it fix.

Very disappointed on the security, almost anybody can come in the pools, people that are not even residents make the pool be extremely pack. Not to mention I witnessed a group of people smoke weed, while I was there with my son and it was early during the day! It happened in the pool that’s located just right behind the office, management should really make some action on who comes in into this gated property. Very very disappointed.

Awesome apartments! Just moved in, and had help from Mariela, our leasing agent. The leasing and move in process ran smoothly, thanks to her. The property is nice and has great amenities, really recommend Mariela to help you out!

This place is horrible to live at. They don’t care about residents. I hav had things broke in my apartment that should hav been repaired in nov. also they aren’t fixing the fences to near by kids to jump over or break in. The pools are so packed wit ppl that don’t live here, loud music at all hours of the night wit ppl still in the pool after hours. Smoking weed when little kids are around. management needs to do something. Even tho they say a off duty security is on site which is a lie no residents has seen an hav made calls too. Do ur self the fav an don’t move here even if it affordable

We have lived here for over a year and I got to say it’s been an amazing experience the community is awesome very friendly environment and awesome residents. Also the vicinity and staff are awesome and helpful not to mention the amazing view we have and our nice pools and private gyms.

Overcharge you for everything. rent for a 1 bedroom is like 740 with no bills included. cant even have music turned on in the middle of the day when you are cleaning. cause you will get a complaint. and there was never any parking space we always had to park far away. and now they are charging us 1500 on damages.

Mariella was so helpful in the office. The property had a cut Fathers Day contest and was planning a pool party. I enjoyed the tour of the GYM and business center. Put in our application and excited to move from Houston to Laredo.

Apartments are okay. Definitely not what they show you. Dont count on getting the move in deal. They told me as well as 2 other coworkers who moved in they didnt qualify AFTER you move in. Consumer protection claim in process.

Rochelle the manager was super friendly and very attentive to my needs! The apartment was more than expected and I am very satisfied. The staff definitely make the living experience here way more than worth it!

I had an excellent touring experience. Rochelle was very detailed and had a great response to every question. This community seems to be reasonably priced for the location and the amenities. I can definitely see myself living at Dorel Laredo.

My 1st apartment and it met my expectations to the dot. I love these apartments and the staff are so welcoming. maintenance is amazing. I recommend them 5/5

We love living here so we renewed our lease because it’s a good place to live, nice and quiet.

Poor customer management and respond on work orders.. been here over a year and had ac problems twice.. this time on 8 days with no ac at all.. they provide a portable unit worthless to cool a 2 bedroom apt.. apt is over 88 degrees!!!Ive asked for another portable unit and they say it has to be ordered from a certain brand o only from Lowes.. they dont even call to update on status.. very poor service and are not to accommodate you in another place... very bad service.. I believe ac is a necessity to live comfortably.. Ive reached out to corporate and as well got a dead end number and they dont reply to emails!!!!!

The management/service staff are always readily available to fix any issues that may arise in a fast/friendly manner. Being a resident of this complex has been a smooth ride, and I wouldn’t picture myself living anywhere else.

Bad management, the staff doesnt help at all. We gave the end of contract notice many months before it expired. And then just a month before the contract expired we contact the staff again and they told us we had to wait 60 days. They inlcuded several fees at the end of the contract. Very upset. They dont even comunicate with the residents.

Got broken into my place during vacation. got back and put in the work out so they can fix my door took over a month for them to fix. and my ac wasnt working when i got back.

Been here for a little over 3 yrs the staff is very nice. The community gated and safe. New security driving around more parking spaces. Its improving slowly.

Walls are so thin I can hear kids yelling, couples having sex, disputes, sometimes when Im as lone it feels as someone is walking in my own apartment I can hear every creak when someone walks upstaris, The gym needs maintenance, equipment is broken and dirty. Women at front desk are rude, liars, dont even know their policies and regulations themselves. Thus place is ok for college kids, or a temporary place while working. Not recommend for actually making it your home.

Cheaply made and management doesnt seem to care about the residents. But they want the rent on time. Get this, during maintenance they stole my wedding ring that my wife gave me....DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

We went to get a quote on an apartment, We absolutely loved the staff! Extremely helpful, answered all our questions to our expectations. Office was Very clean, staff was very knowledgeable!

$925 for a 1 bedroom is high but it looked nice until i saw the detail. They cut cost. The $25 convenience fee is bullshit. I usto love it here but not anymore. The Pest control guy sucks btw.

Staff has been very helpful and attentive. I have been there for a month now and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who asks me for a good complex to live in. I love that they have so much to do for families.

Way over priced. If you leave believe me you will never get your deposit back. Management sends private party to verify apt so obvious they will look for details, when asked the manager she told me they had to doble verify. Still waiting....

Currently staying and will not be renewing my contract. Maintenance emergencies occur, I called numerous times and no one responded, called back nor fixed anything.

Very safe and calm atmosphere, great location and quick response to repair requests....great place to live 👍🏼 going on over a year living here and still very much loving it ❤️ totally recommend

We’ve been living here for half a year and there is not doubt we made the right choice. What I like the most is that when I request a work order, they come really fast and solve the problem efficiently.

The parking situation should be addressedThere is an empty lot in the back that is closed off. If parking is it resolved I’m leaving at the end of this lease.

This apartment complex is the worst! The interior is so cheaply made, the management definitely does not care about its residents and the customer service is horrible.

Nice Apartment Complex to live in! The service requests are promptly attended and resolved! Staff is very responsive.

I was having an issue with maintenance, but as of today all my service requests were taken care of. All you have to do is talk to them directly, and they will address the matter pretty fast.

Great idea for having incentives. I like that it is so simple and easy to earn points. I cant be more thankful to my apartment management for this!

Horrible experience at the Dorel! The pools are always closed, the gym equipment is always broken, and management is a mess. Worst apartments I have ever stayed at.

Nice place to live, new management and personal.. The new management fix all the problems by the next day. The area is always clean. Relax place to live on.

Lots of cockroaches, the pools are dirty most of the time. Security is getting worse every day, anyone enters. The common areas always dirty. The administration does not know how to work

Everything is very nice, I am a resident of this place but I think the office should do more on their part to prevent non-residents from going to the pool, they always send messages about the bracelets but they never enforce it, you can hardly enjoy that area

The gym needs maintenance. Its a shame machines havent been working for several years.
