I have been living at these apartments for 1 year and a half already and love how well the management crew and the maintenance crew are very attentive of their residents. They take care of their residents as far as handing out school supplies every school year. Thank you for all you do!! 10/10 recommend.
I have been living in these apartments for a year now and have never had any problems. They are a wonderful group, very professional and helpful whenever I have problems related to my apartment and they always make sure it is a safe community.
Thank you to Ms. Edith and the management at La Terraza Apartments For Always going out of their way making sure the community is well taken care of. Huge thank you for yesterdays event!!
Very great customer service, this was my first time looking for apartments, and the main manager herself, Mrs.E Garcia, was very kind and helpful. She explained everything detail by detail, any questions or concerns I had she never failed to help me out. I’m extremely happy with my apartment, good taken care of very spacious, peaceful, and neighbors around the complex are respectful and nice. Very satisfied.
I have had an amazing experience with Management here at Laterraza. They are a wonderful group; very professional and assist me whenever I have issues in regards to my apartment. I highly recommend Laterraza Apartments here in Laredo, Texas. Great Management and a great community to reside.
Edith has always gone the extra mile for us! Came in to the office to get help with my gate app and she is politely helped us as always. Nothing compared to the previous manager who was rude sometimes. Team Edith all the way!!!
(INFORMATION REGARDING PROCESS)I notice there havent been many recent reviews so i would like to provide my first impressions of the La Terraza during my Interviewing Process and how it compares to the information i was provided via phone calls & on their website.1. First of all, my family has been on 2 waiting lists 2b/3b, weve called as frequently as possible, we know that the apartments are income based.2. SECOND, recently we received a call 4 days beforehand that we would be needing to gather documents and meeting for an interview, the lady in the phone didnt provide us with her name, Not Once over the phone or when we introduced ourselves at her office(this was the asst. Manager or secretary). I did not catch the Apartments Manager name either.INFORMATION YOU MUST PROVIDE UPON GOING IN FOR AN INTERVIEW (Lo que piden los apartamentos)-IDs & SSN (for each adult)-6 continuous Check stubs that show your jobs deductions, or Year-To-Date earnings-Birth certificates for each Minor (ninos)-To make sure everyone that plans to move into the complex has submitted an application through their website, AND that YOU add them to your application as household members.-Additional Money Orders if you require them for a background check.FOR REFERENCE: (Somedetails not mentioned until the day of)-over the phone we were asked if we had all the documentation plus to acknowledge the following, Income of 6ppl for a 3bd not to exceed 36,0000. (My family did not make over 36k as one of us has just graduated from college getting off of full time studies and one of us has just returned fromthe marines this year, so out of 6 of us 2 were minors and 2 were job hunting)3. My Third concern will be about my experience.Overall the layouts of the apartments looked decent and ideal for families in need and i understand there is a year long waitlist at the moment (i waited through 2022 years waitlist)I now understand that the Manager and her assistant take in the paperwork and dont hold spots if your paperwork doesnt meet their criteria, However they also dont help you find an alternative to what they are asking.DURING OUR INTERVIEWthe assistant manager spoke to us all with a loud tone from the start that echoed the whole waiting offices and constantly pointed and made hand gestures to us as if it would help us understand.....she didnt introduce herself when we all introduced ourselves, then proceeded to tell us we didnt have all the proper documentation and that she asked us to bring it, the day before we had spoken on the phone and she assured us to bring what we had(which was copies of the check stubs, since we got paid by checks weekly), this information changed once we arrived. Next we were told over and over again that Compliance, the reviewing/approval department wouldnt accept our stubs and constantly insinuated that we shouldnt apply, We kept asking the Assistant to give us alternatives for how the paperwork that was most suitable would look like or what she recommended we provide instead of the the format we had available. The Assistant Laughed Right In Our Faces As If There Was No Other Option. We kindly asked her once again if there was something we could do and she finally got up to bring the property Manager and provide us with a breakdown of the situation. The assistant manager strolled in with her Manager and began talking at regular volume and tone as to not be loud and echoing anymore, next to her manager. After speaking with the Manager she assured us that we COULD submit the check stubs BUT that the approval would lay in hands of the Compliance dept.....Next we found out that the apartments are separated in brackets of meeting 30%-60% of income, meaning that our COMBINED income WOULD HAVE TO FALL BETWEEN EARNING 30k and 36k because we were applying for a 60% income required 3bd Apartment (we were not aware of this process until the interview)So this information also changed. The manager calculated the combined income and told us we didnt make enough & to not continue......
Response to owner below original review :Never got a call back in spite of leaving several messages on the phone, online, and through realtor sites. Im trying to move back to Laredo so I couldnt make an in person office visit. Unfortunately I had to keep calling at different times of day hoping someone answered. When I finally DID get an answer the lady, Mary, was informative but curt. She told me the advertised apartments are unavailable, and they have a 1 to 1-1/2 year waiting list, even though the available apartments are advertised both online at their own La Terraza website and through various realtor sites as available to the general public. Mary also told me that this is a low income complex and one must be qualified to even be put on the waiting list. So if youre looking for an apartment, not a waiting list, I suggest you look at other places. Im sure Mary is a very busy lady; so, Ive just helped her do her job and you wont have to wait for anyone to actually answer the phone and tell you this exact same thing.-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_Response to owners reaction post :I did contact you correctly after MANY attempts through multiple medias. This is called a review, posted because of my personal experience with your business.Unless you want to inform me....Is there a correct way to contact you or your establishment other than your web sites apartment information page?A correct listed phone number on the apartments page other than 568-3100?A correct contact link in the La Terraza web site where someone will contact me soon? - - But didnt.A correct person besides Mary, who is the person I FINALLY spoke to after MANY phone calls and messages left with NO Response? Is Mary not the correct person to speak to?If not then someone is answering your phone and driving away potential tenants.A correct description of La Terraza being a financially based complex that has a long waiting list, and limited availability... perhaps on the home page? contact page? apartment search page?Or-more likelyPerhaps your staff mainly respond to Google reviews?I mentioned other realtor sites to make the point that these apartments were not only advertised on the La Terraza web site but also other realtor sites.Correct your business home page and website to reflect the facts of your business.AlsoIn the future, try to actually read and comprehend the message given in the reviews posted here if youre going to have the jugs to respond.
La love this apartments but the lady who answered the is very rude. I submitted a application more then a year ago and no response yet
The process was a bit long, but overall we feel very comfortable. The environment in La terraza is very peaceful.
Very poor management, lack of parking for residents it has become a place where some residents leave their car for days, weeks and even months on end without moving them and taking space they have put on the notice for them to being moved and the and the owners just yank them aff.Complaints have been made at the office and the issue hasnt been taken care of, also residents have bbq on the balconies which is not permitted and also a resident that keeps his balcony covered with cardboard how is this permitted? That shows that they dont do a walk around the premisses to see whats wrong. The place was better taken care of when mariisa and christy were in charge.
Waiting list is 6 months to 1 year. Absolutely unacceptable and terrible. I contacted the main office every day, multiple times, for a week and finally got a response on the 8th day.
Love to live at La Terraza very comfortable at peace and very beautiful Complex🌸🌸❤️
