My Mom lived here from March 2022, until her passing in March 2023. Parkview is very close to where I live, so I was there checking on my Mom, dropping of groceries etc all the time. The staff are some of the kindest most caring individuals, ever!! I have sat in the manager’s office several times talking about my Mom’s declining heath, both of us crying. Michelle has the biggest heart for all the residents. Shelby is the Service Coordinator for the residents. She is amazing at her job and does it with such love and care!! Sam is the maintenance man there, and is always available to help in anyway he can.Parkview Place is ran professionally, efficiently and with the utmost care and concern for the residents. They extend that kindness and love to the family members of the residents as well!!My Mom is no longer with us, but the people at Parkview are like family!
Good maintenance, but be prepared to buy additional lighting. Has some planned activities. Reliable and dago taxies are available. However there is no local accessible mainline system, as in austin. The bus district is available for demand and response for walker country only. Not free, but relatively inexpensive. The taxi services do not take power wheelchairs.
When mom lived there had 1 of her neighbors was dead in apartment 4 days before anybody knew. And they knew something was wrong due to smell. Was told my mom could stay but I wasnt allowed on property. They didnt like me cause Id tell em like it is & would help all the elderly residents.
Very poor management. Lets marawa smokers in the building. An lets them abuse the oldest senior residents in building.
Very poor management. There is a high turnover in managers and concern for the seniors who live there is a very low priority.
