First of all this place is disgusting and not well maintained. Furthermore, the amenities have been locked( because the manager is tired of being “ woken up” in the night because there are people on the rooftop patio), the pool is green, there are mice in the complex. The key pad for the gate has been welded shut which restricts residents from allowing friends to access the gate . The management team is unprofessional and doesn’t care about the residents . For instance. I have lived here for 2 years and my dryer has not worked this entire time . I have requested the issue be fixed multiple times with previous and current management ,but I still do not have a working dryer . Also, the freezer doesn’t keep anything frozen most of the time on the highest setting with the door completely closed . Another issue we experienced is the armory staff entering our apartment unannounced. Once, even walking in on my Roomate after a shower. This not only invades our privacy but we no longer feel safe with the armory and how they conduct themselves . PLEASE I know this place is close to campus but FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE!!! It’s not worth it !! These are just the main issues . More include the leaks in the room, cracked walls , chairs that are falling apart. Yes, all of these issues were brought to management who have an attitude every time an issue is presented .I have been trying to resolve these issues with no valid response from anyone involved . Thank you
If I could give a lower rating I would. Do not let your college kids move into this complex. My daughter had a leak and reported it, they did nothing for about two weeks. It caused black mold in her unit. Apparently maintenance was not changing the filters and it caused the unit to freeze. They took 3 weeks to repair it and did a horrible job. My daughter was unable to stay in her apartment for 3 weeks. They would not credit us anything nor gave us any options. Then they decided to leave all the dirt and mess behind for us to clean. Upon move out they are now trying to charge us cleaning fees and etc. This place has been sold so many times and the new management just ignores emails and notes for them to call you. See all the pics. Also the manager hung up on me and said they needed a second set of eyes to waive fees. I have pics when she first moved in and it was filthy and that was documented as well. Here are just a few pics of all the mold that was not removed all the way and the horrible repair job the mess they left for us to clean up. They even found it okay to use her vacuum to try and get some of the drywall up. Stay far away from this place. There are much better apartments in town.Just an update. They will not respond to any emails and calls. I have followed their process that you have to do if you disagree with the charges. The form just allows you to type some details and you can not attach pictures and it states you can email them with any further information. Therefore I followed up by email with the details and pictures from move in and move out showing these charges are not legit. I have followed up numerous times with no response so now I have contacted the corporate office so we will see if they respond. They say they are trying to assist in all their responses but they do not respond nor help in any matters. It’s probably just a standard message that they respond with each and every time. I strongly urge you to look else where for an apartment. I have spoken with some other parents that have had similar issues.
AVOID. they do NOT care about you. Maintenance works the best they can but the apartment leasing in general do not. they change policy to make more money. they do not help with cost AFTER leaking and water cut offs (that last for DAYS!!) just avoid its WAYYY to expense for all the hassle.
This is my first semester here and it has been great so far. There were some issues when I first moved in but Maurice was very attentive and made sure my roommate and I were taken care of swiftly! The location is very convenient as a SHSU student, great amenities & caring staff. I’d recommend this apartment to any SHSU students.
DO NOT SIGN HERE. This is my second year living here, one year with helen and now this one with the new management. Never thought I would say this but I miss helen. Management has taken away the key pad to enter the gate, which has made it very difficult for my friends and family to enter. There is very little security in this complex. Management has had the exit gate open for months, doing maintenance on it, anyone can enter the complex. A lot of the doors to the complex are unlocked, you dont need any fobs to get into the complex, so anyone can just walk into the complex. Also there has been a lot of talk that the security cameras in the hallway arent even on, only the ones on the patio and in the common area on the 1st floor. Talking about the patio, it has been closed this year, and it is finally open but only during office hours, so if you were wanting to hangout up there at 8 pm you cant. Im sorry Im paying so much money to live here and cant even enjoy the amenities? They post on social media talking about their amenities but dont let them fill you it is NOT 24/7. Going to maintenance now, i literally had to get a camera for my room bc of maintenance. First off they will enter your unit whenever EVEN AFTER AND BEFORE OFFICE HOURS, literally someone came in at 9 pm on a weekday. They also knock ONE TIME before entering, giving you no time to get ready fyi. Also maintenance sucks. I moved into my new unit and told them the fridge didnt have an ice maker, its almost been a year and guess what NO ice maker. I have reminded them many times and each time they say its coming. I ended up giving up trying to get that. My dryer in my unit sucks, it wont dry anything, you have to do at least 4 cycles to even get it remotely dry. We have put in maintenance requests on that and finally after MONTHS they came to look at it and it was literally 1 minute of looking and said there is nothing wrong with it. Also the apartment is just DIRTY, the hallways are never cleaned, there are always bugs. The apartment always smells, especially the first floor common areas. Also the entrance and exit I take for going to campus, its so dark back there its very unsafe and guess what, the door to my hallway and the door the the APARTMENT ITSELF is UNLOCKED. The security absolutely sucks here. Only reason I signed here was bc it is so close to campus but guys please dont its not worth it. Also the pricing here is CRAZY. For a bedroom in a 2 bedroom unit is over $1,000, everywhere else a little away from campus is like $650-700. I would suggest to find one off campus and pay less and just get a parking pass for campus.
Me and my friend came to tour with Allana, she gave a really good tour and answered all of our questions. She knew a lot about the property!
I toured this apartment complex recently and was greeted in a very warm welcoming. Miss Tierra took care of me and did amazing giving me a tour around property!!
ZERO STARS GIVEN! I am not sure how this place has a 4.5 star rating. Ive had 2 kids go to college there, and this place was by far the worse place to rent and we are not picky people..If safety, basic cleanliness, AC in the summer, and if what smells like a marijuana farm nearby is not a concern of yours, this is the place for your child. To the parents that do not live in Huntsville, like myself, and sign leases electronically-- you might want to visit this place first! I did my research and read reviews; the place looked very nice on their website. We moved my son in last August and I raised concerns with the manager at the time (Helen) of the overbearing odor of marijuana, as soon as you enter the stairwell on the 3rd floor. The odor was so strong, it could be smelled coming through the vents into my sons apartment. I was assured they were handling the odor. I visited my son regularly and I am fully convinced someone was growing it in their apartment; between that smell and the overwhelming stench coming from the trash room that was always overloaded with trash, it was unbearable. I voiced concerns once again and asked to be let out of our lease and I was told, I would still be responsible for the terms on the lease. During his stay there, he went without AC for 4 months. They did provide him with a portable AC unit (after I had to call them) but warm air still came in through the window, so it was not a comfortable place to be. The pool and other amenities could not be utilized because other people who did not live there, would flood the pool area. Between vomit and dog feces in the stairwell, hallway, and walkways outside, this entire place could use a good power washing on a regular basis. The gate is always left open. The doors going from the parking garage are broken and do not lock; Anyone can come and go regardless if you live there. He had an attempted break in. There is so much more that I would love to share with management that he experienced while living there, but my experience is they truly do not care. We finally moved him out with 3 months still being left on his lease, which we continued to pay. Save yourself the trouble and $$ and rent somewhere else!
Gives excellent service and allows payment extent. The leasing manager gives perfect assistance and the receptionist are very helpful.
Do not rent from this place. It deserves 0. Also Helen is not there anymore. Now it’s worse.1. They do not care about safety at all. The doors don’t lock and anyone can walk in and out of the building. They told us they would be fixing the locks to doors on the side and nothing has been done. My daughter had random people knocking on her door all hours of the night.2. They lie. Make sure get a copy of everything and keep it. They will outright lie to your face.3. It’s nasty. It is not kept very clean.4. They say they will hook you up with people alike In Your apartment. That is false.5. They will over charge you and you have to go get it fixed.6. Oh yea. Your rent will go up and they will want you to renew and say this is the lowest it will be. They will tell you it’s going up. Then after you sign your contract a month or two later they offer specials. Which you can get.7. This place takes advantage of college students who might not really understand their rights.Anyone else that has had issues. Let me know. Working on a law suit that will include others.Good luck if you decide to rent from here.
This is my second time living at The Armory! the new managaement is great! They do whatever they can to make the residents happy.
I absolutely love Helen the apartment manager . Sweetest person ever. Her and her team are amazing. Maintenance is always done in a timely manner and they always willing to help out. Great amenities and I love to gym and yoga room. The rooms are spacious and cute. 10/10.
I thought Helen bad, but this is worse. DONT RENT HERE.They charge you excess fees that were already covered by renters insurance. AND REFUSE TO REFUND YOU.They don’t come on time for maintenance. They take over a week. They say they fix your stuff even though they haven’t.The front desk ladies are very rude and unhelpful before it got taken over by student quarters they would help me with any issues I had but now they deflect any questions asked.Same thing with maintenance, before they would come the same day or the day after putting a request but now they take over a week to come and even after they come, they say they fix the item, but it is still not fixed. There has been mold on my ceiling for over two weeks and my dryer has been broken for over two weeksI’ve told him multiple times to fix this, but they have not yet. On top of all of this, they leave the same comment under everyone’s bad reviews, clearly they do not care.
The reviews for this apartment complex are based on the tour provided by the staff, not the actual apartments. This complex smells bad and it is poorly maintained. Luckily, Sam Houston helped me get out of my lease early, but this process isnt a sure bet. The staff will offer free snacks and pressure you to sign a lease on the same day. However, getting out of a lease can get pretty complicated. If youre looking for apartments in the area, Id avoid anything marketed as Student Housing
The Armory is an amazing apartment complex! Everyone is so welcoming and kind. The manager, Helen, is very compassionate and truly cares about her residents. All of the amenities are awesome, and I really felt at home during my stay here as a student! I would highly recommend this place to my friends at SHSU! :)
I came to tour and Allana was amazing! 10/10 recommend
So I lived here for a year now and i believe that some work should be done around the apartment. Random people be walking into the apartment building because the doors are broken and the garage gate is just left open. These people be knocking on our door loudly or making noise and it’s quite annoying. And on top of that when I first moved into my apartment I had dead ants on my carpet and my carpet had stains on them, of course I would complain about it to the manager but they still didn’t do anything till this day. Another thing is that my apartment had mold in it for months because the ac guy said they check on it( they didn’t do anything when they saw the mold) this made the people living in the apartment upset because we were breathing in the moldy air, which caused us to be a little sick, and when we complained about this issue, it took the months to deal with it. Whenever they finally decided to clean it up, they left paint on the floor, Increased our electricity bill and a mess in one of the rooms. I really do like living here because of the nice community and staff but there’s some issues that needs to be taken care of.
Toured this property with my daughter and was extremely happy with the experience. The property itself is beautiful and I especially like the safety features like garage parking and having no exterior entrances to the units. I really liked the hotel feel. Another perk is its easily walking distance to campus. Also very impressed by the new management team. They are engaged, very approachable and knowledgeable, answering all my questions thoroughly. Daughter loved it as much as I did, and were both looking forward to her moving here in a few months.
Ive been meaning to write this for the past year so here we go!If you are a parent or a simple college student venturing on their leasing journey; do not choose these apartments. As a resident here, lets delve into the reasons shall we; at the beginning of my stay everything looked remarkable such as the amenities, proximity to campus and their modern appliances! But, you cant truly judge a place by their appearance nor the tour youve just gone on. Nothing beats getting to know a place than actually living it!For you reading this review; I give my upmost honesty so be prepared. First things first if you didnt manage to smell weed as you progressed through the facility then YOU WERE SO VERY LUCKY! Ive never smelled such a smell SO pungent that it reached the parking lot. Its most concentrated on the first floor and 3rd floor. To specify, on the first floor to the end of the hallway that leads to the dog park, and the elevator next to the fire exit. The room, right next to that door which I believe to be 126, has the most prominent smell of that herb which just spreads like wildfire to the end of the corridor and garage. To put it bluntly, if your room is close to that elevator which it might as theres only 2 elevators in the facility. Then you too will be crossing that hallway! Heading to the lobby? Youll smell it! Want to get mail or pick up a package at the smart lockers? Youll also smell it! Want something from the vending machines? You guessed it, youll smell it! Want to go work out? You know the answer. Not only does it pertain from that specific room but all the doors that lead inside. And boy do I have something to say about those doors, when it comes to security guess what! Theres none! The gates that leads to the garage are always broken, literally, its always open. And just a few months ago, a car ran into one of the gates causing it to be broken for about a month. Which was later fixed but you guessed it, its broken once again letting any car through. The gate that is used to exit the garage is always open and as its next to the one that is supposed to be the entry gate; you have those people that cant just simply wait for the ENTER HERE gate to open, so they go through the EXIT GATE, causing potential crashes for those trying to leave (I know because on an occasion, I was about to pull out of the garage to find a white sedan hit the breaks immediatly since he thought he could go through the EXIT GATE) Moving forward with the security:The doors, EVERY SINGLE DOOR THAT IS ON THE EXTERIOR IS BROKEN, The facility apparantly once had a concept of double door security where you have a door on the exterior of the building, and then another door to make sure you have a key to get it. The most prime examples are a, the exterior door that is right next to the jack in the box is open for the public to use! Its not even closed which can be seen if youre wanting to drop by and get a burger. The next example would be on the third floor, so the reason why the third floor is special is because it leads exactly to the main road that connects campus and the main market dining hall. So very convenient to campus, but, as it also connected to the main road, you would like to think the door that allows entry to the facility would be locked correct? No! The exterior door is completely flimsly, it has an apparent lock to input your resident key to get in but dont bother! As the thing doesnt even need one to get it! as the locking mechanism is broken! Now how about that second door I mentioned prior, that one would surely be locked wouldnt it? NO AGAIN! As it doesnt even close anymore! Now lets say for some reason that door ever closes, it doesnt take a genious to go up the stairs (which shouldnt be acessible if you arent a resident but guess what; the exterior door doesnt even work to stop non residents!) So, you kindly make your way up the stairs to the fourth floor and make a discovery that the door of the 4th floor, has A BROKEN HANDLE, so waltz your way right in! Ive exceeded the limit so TBC in
My friends and I have lived here for the past year and just renewed our lease for next year! Helen and her team go are amazing to work with. They really do make you feel at home. And not to mention their amazing maintenance crew. The amenities TOP NOTCH! The gym has everything you need! And lets not forget the pool!!
The roommate matching preference is so accurate and reliable, I was able to make life long friends as a transfer student. I didn’t have anyone else in the area to room with me so when I was placed with three new people I was worried at first because I am use to keeping to myself but as time went on I was able to build a close relationship with them and after 4 years I can say that I am so happy I took the chance to have them match with me!! 🧡 It made living at the armory wonderful
My family and I toured today with Riley, he was fantastic! Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and enjoyed the visit, The Armory is one of our top choices for student housing at SHSU. The complex is luxury living and close to campus, the parking garage is a bonus feature. Would enjoy living here! Want to let the manager know what a great job Riley did.
I did a tour at the armory about a week ago and I heard and saw nothing but good things! I loved the look and feel of the complex and had the opportunity to tour with Bailey one of the leasing agents. She was very helpful and kind with answering all of my questions and did a great job of showing the ins and outs of the unit. If you have the opportunity to tour at the armory definitely ask for Bailey!
Have been in Huntsville for a few years now and had always driven by the Armory (while living at other rental properties) and had never gone in. Lease came up and figured why not go talk to them. Courtney in the front office was FANTASTIC and made me feel right at home. Great living options, close to campus, and from what I could tell a very competent leasing staff. Will be moving in soon and cannot wait. Also nice that it’s relatively new and in great shape compared to other apartments in town.
Love living here! Perfect amenities and close to the university! Office staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and the property manager Helen is always there to answer any questions! If you’re looking for a nice safe place to live i highly recommend!
I really enjoyed talking with Morgan S., one of the leasing managers. She was super helpful, and I really enjoyed touring the grounds & seeing the spacious apartments. They have many perks like parking garage, competitive rates, walking distance to campus, safe indoor hallways and apartment access. I felt very confident with everything Morgan was showing me and am hoping to be able to get my daughter into one of the apartments while she attends Sam Houston. If you are checking out The Armory, make sure to ask for Morgan!! 😊
The tour guide was extremely kind and welcoming. She answered all our questions without hesitations. The amenities are beautiful, but the building does smell a bit in the hallways because everything is enclosed. Really have to weigh out the pros and cons of the place.
We were given a very informative tour by Maureen. We were impressed by her knowledge as a leasing agent. The 4 bedroom floor plan that she showed us was very nice. I only wished that there were other available floor plans to see. The location is just across the street from Sam Houston campus. Lots to consider 😊
Helen, the new Manager at The Armory, is fantastic! She is kind, understanding and cares about the students that live there. She does everything she can to make sure all of her residents are happy. The units at The Armory are large and very well appointed.
The staff there is so nice, especially Kenneth he really helped me answer questions about leasing an apartment and what the process would be like! I’ve been hunting for apartments since it’s going to be my first time moving out, I’ve looked at a few apartments near buy but when I talked to Kenneth he was honestly really kind and helped me explain what I should look for and how the process of renting an apartment for the first time will be like. Keep up the good work!
My experience here at The Armory was very memorable. I took my tour with Brooke and she was very knowledgeable in knowing everything about the leasing process and made the process very smooth for me here at The Armory. If you’re thinking about taking a tour at The Armory, ask for Brooke !
Great customer service from the office staff! Cesar took us on a tour and made everything clear and transparent for us. I am happy to say that my daughter will be staying at the Armory! My daughter is really excited!
They spend more time on jazzing up their socials rather then helping out residents. They raised our rent SEVERAL times without notice. We had a broken fridge, sink, washer, and shower that sometimes worked. They evicted our roommate and missed the court date. Lost money on that so they tried to put it on us. This was an awful experience. There was an amazing manger there but of course they ran her out.... The tour is great, but dont let it fool you. These people only want to get all the money they can out of you. READ YOUR LEASE, they will break contract before you.... as they did to us and came in the day before our lease ended while we were out of town and threw away very valuable things and roses from our late friends casket. sorry to be blunt but this was my experience.
My daughter had a great experience with the leasing team as well as their management! She was a immediate move in and her room was ready to go in record time! The Armory team was nothing but helpful in our transition into the apartments, could not have gone any smoother! If you are looking for a great, fun place to live The Armory is the perfect place! Don’t forget to go in for a tour the property is top notch!
Love this place! The apt and the amenities are amazing, clean. I always felt confortable and safe in here. Office staff is super friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to live i highly recommend!
I absolutely loved the tour and the staff knew what they were talking about and they made me feel very welcomed!! I signed my lease and moved in a few months later and they have continued to impress me and they have started asking about what I like and dislike and what I would change. That just shows they are open to improvement and they are not settling.
I cant rave about my living experience here enough. The property manager, Helen is always there to help me and the staff always has the best attitude and communication. I cant wait to graduate with The Armory!!
I have been living in The Armory, since 2019 and really enjoyed the on site events such as the seafood boil and thrilling haunted house. The experiences are alot of fun and the food was so good being able to enjoy the moments with my friends made my life in the armory even better. The fitness room and yoga studio has to be my favorite place to relieve the stress of my day; and getting into the right mindset to achieve my goals for the next day.
I love this property and the placement of it on campus, the atmosphere seems to be very friendly as well. The assistant manager of the property is super friendly and sweet. Her smile made my whole day better, she seems to love her job and have fun while doing so.
I love living at The Armory. Amazing amenities and worth the price! The leasing agents, shout out to Kenneth, are amazing and also the cleaning staff. The building is very secure and safe as well.
Oh my gosh the best apartment ever!!!! The apartment itself is phenomenal and the staff and management are unlike anything iv ever seen!!! Every single staff person I have ever spoken with has always been so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable and make you feel so welcome and comfortable to ask about anything! The management is over the top!!! If you need anything or have any questions they get it done!!! Iv been around many apartments and never have I ever seen Management like this. Melanie has helped with so many things that I have asked for and has been extremely professional in everything she does!!! I can’t say enough about the Armory Huntsville, TX and their management and staff!!! TRULY THE MOST WELL RUN APARTMENT OUT THERE!!!!Lori Morrison
Love the Armory! New management is great, Ty seems like a good leader and actually cares about his residents. One employee in particular, Dakota, has always been helpful and happy to assist with a smile. Would recommend signing 👍🏽
Good place to live and have no complaints besides getting my car towed in my assigned and registered parking spot i pay for monthly and park in everyday. Had to pay over a hundred to the predators they have working the parking garage towing whats supposed to be “non-residents” or people parking in others spots. However they could careless if you live there / clearly have a parking pass or not and will hold you car hostage until they extort you out of your money. Armory informed me it was “nothing they can do” about the situation and to email upper management only to never get a response.Edit;Under this review they replied over a month ago saying they reach out. Never happened lol
Just had an amazing tour from Ebaa from the Armory giving me all the details and ins and outs of the place. He was very friendly and I felt welcomed even though I’m not yet officially living here. The place was more put together than I thought it would be and honestly I don’t have a complaint or saw anything that would deserve one. I hope I can live here because I’m already in love with the property. Thank you so much Ebaa
We have had a very poor experience with The Armory. They promise you the moon upon signing but the management turns over frequently. The current property manager is rude and sarcastic. My sons apartment was without AC for over a month, the refrigerator worked sometimes, and the he was blamed for carpet stains in bedrooms that were unoccupied. Anything you complain about is met with rudeness and hard resistance. They do not take responsibility for anything. Take pictures of everything when you move in and when you move out.Good Points: walking distance to campus, parking garage that is gated for security.
The Armory is an amazing place to live. It is my first apartment, and the experience has been great. I would say my favorite part would have to be the clubhouse, I could literally stay down there all day. Also the management and staff are super friendly, and easy to talk too. I would recommend this place, if your looking to be close to campus.
I just went on tour with my sister and the community is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. They really have EVERYTHING you can ever need all in one location. My favorite is the amenity deck and golfing area. 🥰 I mean who has this!!! My pup Gucci is going to love the Bark Park 🥺 The staff was also super nice. Especially Misha, she answered every question we had and guide me through the leasing process. We will be signing tonight and we are super excited to call The Armory Home ❤
Cool place to be, love my neighbors n the crew that works n keep the Armory going are awesome. Gym n yoga rooms are perfect for a workout . The lounging area by the pool is relaxing . Just a great place to be , glad Riley was able to help me to the Armory.
I really enjoy the property. There is room for improvement with communication from the office, they tend to not return calls or emails. Other then that this apartment complex is very modern and I like how active they are with their residents on social media. I would recommend this apartment to a first timer renter or any other person whose looking for a reliable place to live.
Took my son here looking for student housing. Was impressed with facilities and proximity to campus. The location is also great for access to down town and shopping. The apartments are impressive in their offerings with each student having their own bathroom. If you are looking for your student or yourself, ask for Dakota to show you around.
Its a great experience for living on campus in a non college affiliated apartment. Excellent and responsive management are always helpful and friendly. They enforce the apartment rules, especially in the parking garage. Literally on campus close to classes and 5 minutes to the library.
The staff was very knowledgeable during the tour we took when looking for an apartment for my son. This made it so easy to learn about all the amenities, perks, and specials that The Armory offered. The experience was very pleasant.
Nyomi was very helpful and quick to give me answers to my questions.
The armory is so good they have the best roommate match making system plus they have some of the best deals in and campus and campus isn’t even that far away, if I could I would stay here for as long as I could. I started off at the armory and haven’t wanted to leave at all. It’s so nice to be able to have a private space to yourself.
Since the Landmark Property Management took over the previous one, I have seen a lot of changes for the Armory. The Office Hours is extended helping Parents approach Front Desk easily by phone. Maintenance team works efficiently and Front Desk staff are more friendly and nice. The person I would highly mention here is Ms Melanie Davidson, the Communication Manager of the Armory. She is very responsive and effectively cares for Parents in any aspect that they have question. I wish her every success in her new role and definitely recommend the Armory to my friends.
Love this place!!!! So close to campus, great deals, with nice and helpful staff. Apartments make transitions easy since they are fully furnished with living room, washer & dryer and even comes with a T.V!!!! Comes with a great resort style pool that helps one go relax and destress.
I would like to extend a 5 Star rating to Miss. Jailynn. I called to inquire about the availability of room, sizes, amenities and prices in the community complex. She was knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with. Keep up the good work.
This is such a nice property and I was really impressed with their competitive rates for housing that is walking distance to campus. I thought the idea of having a cool garage roof top lounge is great! Morgan was very knowledgeable and awesome!
I love the armory!! It’s really nice and clean, and there’s so many amenities. Kenneth, Maureen, and Riley give such great customer service.
With the city rapidly growing the past few years, I feel like The Armory @ Sam Houston is a fantastic addition to not only the university but also the City of Huntsville. The Armory is a definite promoter to the citys economic growth. As for the team, there are no words. They are a phenomenal group; well trained, friendly, and knowledgeable about the property and city happenings. They have executed fantastic events for the community and are consistently planning new ones. I feel that the sense of community they have display thus far is great for college students, especially first years just leaving home. The property is absolutely beautiful with outstanding amenities. They truly display their dedication to the students academic career as well as home life. If i were to choose anywhere to live in Huntsville, The Armory would be my first choice. Ya, the price point may be a slightly higher than others in the area but with the features and team at play .. but whats a few extra dollars in exchange for a more than expected and enjoyable experience. I have to say that I am excited to see their continued success from this point on.
The Armory is in close proximity to the campus which is great for the students. My daughter has been a resident for almost a year and has thoroughly enjoyed her experience. Keep up the great work, team!
This will be my third year living here, what I’ve enjoyed most about living here is the friendly staff. My experience with Dakota is that he is very knowledgeable and eager to address any concerns with answers that would leave a resident satisfied. His energy is so welcoming, making him easy to talk to. Truly makes this complex feel like a community. Tour with Dakota today!
They have really good customer service and are quick to fix maintenance.
Kara was so helpful through the entire leasing process. Kara listened to all of my concerns and reassured my about everything. Living so close to campus and having a great place to call home was my main priority and she gave me that. I am incredibly happy and thankful for everything she has done for me.
Units themselves are very nice and well cared for. Maintenance is always prompt when a problem arises. I have been dissatisfied with the maintenance of the stairwells, stairwell doors, and exterior doors.
I cant say enough good things about Armory ! The staff is always super welcoming when I come into the office to pick up packages, the amenities cant be beat, and the view of the city from my apartment was AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend, and if you ever have a problem the manager Ty, will always take a sec to help out.
I had a great time touring the facility. The complex is very clean and staff is great. Kenneth gave me a tour of the facility and was a great guide. He was able to answer all of my questions and gave an amazing tour.
This place is the perfect place to stay at if you are a college student, but unfortunately the management here is terrible. In my two years staying here, they have changed management twice. I called them today for them to tell me that they changed management for a third time.I have recently graduated from SHSU and I moved out from the Armory last summer of 2021. About 8 months later from leaving the apartment, I am getting debt collector bills from their main office saying that I still owe them money. This was a surprise to me because the employees at the Armory had told me themselves that I have paid everything in full when I moved out. I even asked them for a receipt or a form of some sort stating I have paid everything. The Armory never did so.I tried to call the Armory today to find out what the problem was and they were not willing to help for an issue they created. Because of this, my credit is being affected over a $15 debt. I realize that’s a small amount but its an amount that never should have existed in the first place and is affecting my credit. That’s the last thing I need for someone who is trying to get into a career.I loved staying here at the Armory but prepare yourself for stressing out over ridiculous financial issues with the management team here. It’s going to happen frequently.
The Armory is a very luxurious apartment complex. The pool and gym are two of many ways I can relax and take out stress. Not to mention all of the staff members are super sweet and willing to go to any extent to make things right. I strongly recommend living here!
Great staff, very accommodating to my needs. Seems like its going to be a very fun place to live with all the events they do through out the year. The Community is right on campus and they have a parking garage in the complex as well so I dont have to worry about parking on campus. Definitely the nicest place to live in Huntsville, I wouldnt want to live anywhere else.
The Armory has been a great place up until the new management took over. We have had numerous amounts of problems with a roommate who has been stealing and destroying property. We have multiple police reports out on her and the Armory will not move her out of our unit. I have wrote tons of emails, called and visited the office over 10 times to try to get this resolved but they will not help in any way. Our other roommates have also been taking actions to try and get this figured out and The Armory either ignores us, blows us off or never returns calls/emails.They have also had problems with the smoke detector alarms. For example, they randomly go off at different hours and have sometimes lasted for a few hours. Each time the alarms go off we do not get notified and my dog has seizures from it.Also I have came home multiple times and someone is parked in my parking spot. In addition to all of this the halls and elevators sometimes smell like weed and are disgusting. This is not the managements fault but there are cameras that could find the corporate and proper actions could occur.I would highly recommend not living here as the place is great and they treat you well until you are actually a resident and then they practically forget about you or simply dont care since you are already locked into the lease. Also they have literally done nothing to help there residents during this COVID time or there families. Im so glad that I will be moving out soon.
Thank you for the tour Riley. You were very knowledgeable during the tour we took which made it easy to learn about all the amenities, perks, and specials the Armory has to offer. The experience was amazing and we thank you !
The Armory has the best resident events! On top of the great staff and perfect apartment there is no place I would rather live! Highly recommend making this place your home!
I really enjoy living at The Armory! The staff do a lot of fun events and always give free food to students! I love the rooftop lounge and the gym. Also I walk to class everyday which means I don’t have to pay for parking (this is priceless). If I wasn’t graduating this year I would for sure sign again!
Courtney is awesome. She was so helpful and thorough with all my questions. Couldn’t have spoken to anyone more informed! If you go tour be sure to ask for Courtney!
I toured with Dillon looking for a 4 bed. I liked the rooftop and events. Dillon was nice and helpful
I lived at the armory for about a year, last year. and really enjoyed staying at the armory! Tyler is one of the best property managers! i enjoyed his kind personality and his great attitude def 10/10.
I signed with them in August and its been a hassle since then. I had to complain for almost a week to have the common area cleaned as they were supposed to be when I moved in and I had to have my room changed because the original unit was a mess with wall damage and floor stains. They are furnished units which makes the moving process easier, especially as a college student but Im having back problems sleeping on the mattress they provided. Management did not offer a solution for the mattress, not even a topper and told me to buy my own mattress. Im sleeping on the floor now to not be in pain. Also, the garage is way too small and a nightmare if you drive anything larger other than a compact car.Very disappointed.
This is terrible community to reside while attending SHSU. Their common areas are never cleaned expect on move in day. Their is dog feces left in the hallways for weeks at a time. all your emergency request for maintenance will be ignored until convenient for staff. The management group will lie about your lease agreement and add clauses as they see fit. Also their corporate office will not assist you in any capacity. They will ignore your phone calls and wont provide you with an email. Hands down worst place to live in Huntsville
I went to go check out these apartments, and and a wonderful lady named Sarah gave me a tour. She gave an exceptional tour and the complex was so nice! Loved my experience and I am definitely considering them!!
Juan, was an amazing tour guard. He made us fill comfortable and answered all our questions.
The Armory is an amazing place to live if you are looking for a place to call home. The common areas are always so clean and the pool Maintmence is amazing. Their staff team is amazing, especially Oscar, he always is so welcoming to the guests and tenants living there.
10/10 do NOT recommend signing a lease with The Armory. Ever since new management took over things have gone down hill. The front office staff is incredibly rude to the residents who live there, especially if you ask them any questions. Not to mention the manager who would probably argue with a brick wall. The hallways are riddled with dog feces and the trash room getting piled up causes the whole floor to reek. So if you already signed here for Fall 2020, good luck.
Good furniture, but poor living environment. If you are aiming for 8 a.m class, please choose another apartment, because you would be probably awake by your neighborhoods very often at 2 or 3 a.m. because of music or yielding. I already forget how many times I got awake and missed my 8 a.m. class. In addition, because Armory no longer hire security guard, even you call the staff member to ask the noisy people to keep quiet, staff member would not come or just arrive 1 hour later. I already talk with the leasing center for multiple times, they just cannot get me a reliable solution. Hence, concerning your 8 a.m. class, choose another apartment.
Terrible terrible the towing company just takes your car no matter what they don’t even check the vehicles parking pass and the armory hired a cheap towing service the man is racist the front desk loses my packages weekly and the it stinks in the hallways the armory doesn’t clean the units for new tenants they just let them move in with dirty walls , baseboards , etc I don’t recommend the armory go sterling , The front office (both mangers) didn’t help only made the problem worse tried to belittle me because I was younger . I will not be signing back here it’s a scam .
Toured over Christmas Break and loved it. The covered parking, all interior entries and walking distance to campus is what sold it for us. Morgan with the leasing team was professional, informative and helped make it an easy choice for us.
I’m so excited I’m about to leave this hostel. Rent for a 4 bedroom is around $720. Cars are broken into, and there’s no gate code for the garage so the cops can’t ever get in. Built very quickly so half of our doors don’t latch. I was very lucky I suppose and got one of the rooms that they never bothered making a key for. There’s beautiful displays of human/animal bodily fluids in stairwells and hallways though!AC went out in the middle of the summer and it took 4 days for it to get fixed. But don’t worry, they supplied 2 fans for the whole apt. You get to learn basic electronic skills when you have to dismantle the key fob when your garage gate opener stops working after the first month. Be sure to keep a screwdriver in your car! Don’t bother paying for a parking spot, someone will always be parked in it and the armory has a speedy 4 day period before they’ll actually tow it. I suggest spot hopping! If you don’t have car insurance get it, there are weekly wrecks in the garage due to it being tiny, but don’t worry there’s speed bumps once you exit it. Seriously don’t live here. I don’t know know how many people were bribed to leave good reviews here, but this is honestly a terrible apt complex with terrible management.
I toured with Kenneth recently as my partner and I have been apartment hunting for a while now. Kenneth was really kind and helpful and very informative. I really recommend him!!
The Armory at Sam Houston is not at all what it was made out to be. Since moving in in 2018, I have experienced countless issues with apartment quality, neighbors, safety, and complex cleanliness.Whoever built the Armory seriously cut corners. All of the baseboards throughout the complex are warped (it looks like water damage, however, its even present on the higher level floors), for the first month I lived here part of the first floor was constantly flooded to the point that mold grew in the drywall and it had to be completely replaced. The parking garage is extremely small, and honestly quite dangerous, there are blind spots everywhere and most of the time you dont know someone is coming around the corner until it is too late. Residents completely ignore the posted speed limit and fly around the corners, both myself and my roommates have almost been hit on several occasions. Moving on to specific unit issues, the blinds constantly break, fixtures were hung crooked, and vents in our bedrooms werent sealed. The construction crew had stained our floors before move-in and it was never repaired or cleaned. The walls are paper-thin, if I am in my room I can hear conversations that my roommate is having in hers, as well as what the neighbors are talking about upstairs. There isnt any privacy. If you are speaking about anything at a normal level, other residents are sure to be able to hear it.The Armory constantly reeks of weed, and nothing is done about it. I understand that we are in college and that everyone does things differently. However, my parents/friends/family members are constantly slapped in the face with the smell any time they come and visit me and its embarrassing. I cannot even sit on my balcony without it being the only thing Im able to smell. On top of that, people are constantly partying. My floor shakes from my neighbors bass in his stereo, and regardless of noise complaints, it never stops. My roommates and I have been woken up several times anywhere from 2-5 in the morning because people are screaming in the hallways and blasting music downstairs.Safety doesnt seem to be a huge concern here, or at least it wasnt for the previous management. In Spring 2019, my roommates and I were woken up to someone banging on our door loudly for quite some time (it sounded like they were trying to break in), and we called the police. However, when the police got here, they couldnt get into the complex without one of us going downstairs and letting them into the building. Which we didnt want to do because someone had been aggressively banging on our door and jiggling the door handle, and so we basically just had to wait for whoever was at our door to leave and for the resident security guard to do a walk around. The next day I went down to the office to speak with the property manager at the time, and she didnt even seem phased by the incident. She told me that she couldnt check the cameras because they only turn on at a certain sound level and apparently whatever had happened at our door didnt activate them because they were probably too far away. However, she did tell me that it was probably just some guys on the fourth floor who were making videos for their YouTube channel and that they filmed themselves punching holes in the walls of the hallways downstairs. So, that was her best guess. The hallways are constantly dirty, and in the (almost) year and a half I have lived here I have maybe seen them clean 3 times. This speaks for the rest of the apartment complex as well, the clubhouse bathrooms are constantly trashed and most of the time arent even stocked with toilet paper. People allow their dogs to pee in the elevators, and it just sits there.Overall, I wouldnt live here again. The only reason I renewed my lease was because of the short walk to campus and that I didnt want to move for the last 6 months of my undergrad. Hopefully the new management will be able to turn some of the issues around. However, theres not a lot that can be done about poor and rushed construction job.
DO NOT LIVE HERE! This apartment was single handedly the WORST apartment I have ever lived in and I didn’t live here for more that 6 months. They will catch you with exuberant fees and electricity bills. To put it in perspective my “$750” rent turned into $830 and on my last payment a mind blowing $993 along with a $76 electricity bill at the end I had already moved out for that month. If you are a college student who pays for their own rent or a parent DO NOT even consider this complex as a choice.
This property is amazing. The office staff, especially Helen Calhoun, are attentive, professional and always go above and beyond. I would highly recommend the property and management staff!
Worst Place Ive Ever Stayed! They Moved Me Into A DIRTY Apartment, That Didnt have A/C for 4 months. Wouldnt Reimburse Me For It Then Tried To Charge Me a False Fine! If I could give them ZERO stars I would! DONT LIVE HERE!
I put only 1 Star because I was unable to put none. I have lived at the armory for 2 years and in the span of that 2 years I have seen around 6 new managers. The first year the managers were quick to respond and resolve issues. This past year that was not the case. My roommates and I had a horrible experience. There was mold in the carpets, walls, vents, and toilets. There was a water leak that affected the floors in our unit. They sent people in and completely destroyed our wall, left it that way for weeks because new management came in, and they sent in new people to put that wall back together without resolving the issue causing baseboard and floor damage. They first thought the sink was to blame so they poured many chemicals under our sink. We all had migraines, had trouble breathing, and my roomate actually got a chemical burn. The only one that helped was the head of maintenance who no longer works there (for good reason). The biggest issue this far is the quota of charges they must meet resulting in them adding over $500 of charges on to all of my roomates and my account. Majority of the charges were caused by the armory. When asked about these charges they decide to let us know that they aren’t final. They kept that to themselves until we asked about them. Watch your back and your bank account because they love to drain you of money. Do NOT recommend. There are cheaper and better options elsewhere!!!
We took an apartment tour here with Bailey. She was very sweet and professional and explained all details perfectly. We had an amazing experience overall :)
I am a student here at Sam and currently living at the Armory. Rooms and amenities are very nice. Super close to campus. Courtney is the best! Super helpful with any questions!
The Living Space Is Great And So Are The Amenities. I Love My Room And The Quality Of Furniture. However, I Have Had Multiple Problems With Staff Getting Things Done. Also Monthly Utilty Bills Are Distributed Randomly, No Schedule. I Have Had Paid 2 Utility Bills In Just A Weeks Length Apart. Another Problem Is That There Are Not Regular Cleanings Of The Hallways And Stairwells. There Has Been A Yellow Liquid Everywhere In The Stairs And Stickiness In The Hallways For About 2 Weeks Even After Calling To Tell Them About It, They Have Not Been Cleaned.
Maureen was great and was very welcoming! Even if we don’t sign, the employees really show that they care and are passionate.
Always a pleasure to work with! So many fun projects! Would love to be a resident as a place where they put so much care into resident gifts and swag. :)
I’ve lived at the armory for going on a year now and have had a really great experience. this is the first time i’ve lived in an apartment and it was basically everything i expected/wanted it to be. the staff is usually pretty great and super nice and the maintenance staff are always so so kind and helpful. the benefits of the armory and why you are paying more than other places, in my opinion, is for a few reasons. first, it’s one of the newer places in hunts. second, it’s like two seconds from campus and you can walk to class super easily so no need to bother with a parking pass. third, the security, which for me is mainly what made me choose to live here. now i’m not gonna lie, it’s a hassle getting friends into this place but i much rather walk to open a door for someone than have anyone and everyone be able to get in and out of where i live. they also have some cool amenities which i have yet to use, but if you do choose to live here, use them, you are paying for them and they are dope so you might as well. lastly, the parking garage which is again, a big reason i chose to live here. i have my own parking spot in a very well lit parking garage and no matter what time i’m getting home i have a place to park and i don’t have to sprint inside out of fear, which is always a plus. it’s happened a few times where someone has been in my spot and it isn’t that deep to me personally because there are always open spots around me where i just park somewhere else. i haven’t had really any issues since living here, the only con would be the price, but you are definitely getting what you pay for and it’s worth it. with the price the only other thing i can think of that bothers me would be during the school year on the nights that people would go out, it would never fail that i was always woken up at 3-4 in the morning by people screaming and slamming doors but that’s gonna be anywhere you live in a college town. the armory is dope and is definitely worth every penny if you are looking for a place that is safe and close to campus and really anything you’d need to be close to.
Ebba was fantastic!!! Exceptional customer service and extremely knowledgeable! We thank you for the tour and we look forward to our daughter living at the armory to call home. Thank you
Ember Orta was super helpful and kind while telling me about what The Armory has to offer. She also did a great job promoting on campus with her team members. I would recommend Ember to any current or future resident.
The pool has to be one of my favorite amenities from living here, they even make sure to clean the pool regularly on Monday’s. So it’s sparkling and dazzling 🧡🧡🧡
Loved living here when I moved in everything was in perfect condition and the Staff was very helpful when it came to any questions or problems I have encountered since living here. Definitely worth looking into if you are in the market for an apartment. I plan to sign on again next year.
Dont sign a lease here, you can only get out by subleasing or paying 6 months(living here for 6 months doesnt count)of rent rather than like 2. Maintenance doesnt fix anything and they lied about the price of utilities. They also lost my financial aid check in the mail. The previous people in our apartment had a hole knocked in the wall by maintenance and left there. There was black mold in my roommates room. Also when we moved in the place was dirty even thought the previous renter paid for cleaning. Not to mentioned I was locked out one night because their key fob broke and They wouldnt even give me a gate code, so I slept at a friends place. I know below me the Armory has responded but Ive talked to them after I posted my first bad review and they dont really care.
I lived at The Armory for a year and have had a great experience. I like all the amenities especially the pool/lounge area. It’s a great apartment and close to campus
Haven was very kind and able to answer any questions we had regarding The Armory. It is a beautiful property with terrific amenities. Don’t hesitate to tour!
Misha was great help with an issue I needed fixed. Very patient and sweet. This definitely makes my stay at The Armory comfortable knowing that the management here is dependable.
Jailynn helped me with all the information I needed and was very nice! She explained to me in great detail what kind of apartments there are and other amenities they have!
Great office staff, maintenance is timely and careful. Minor pest problems but pest control responds quickly as well.
This place has been a great experience! The maintenance supervisor, Primo, is amazing! I also enjoy the amenities, such as the pool, rooftop lounge, gym, etc. would highly recommend this place.
Nice complex, but beware of the random room mate matches. Im not sure what the the point of giving the students a match questionaire during the application process. Its useless. Im a parent. My College student knows a majority of her room mates. However, they have had FOUR different room mates in the 4th bedroom in one year. This is unacceptable. Each one has proven to be a bad match and weve had safety concerns with 2 of the room mates. Ive expressed my interest to the Armory multiple times. I understand how properties are ran and the challanges of shifting people to different units. However, do something more when it comes to back ground checks of the residents. As a parent Im tired of dealing with this and being conconcerned for my College students safety. I highly recommend if your student is going to move here that they know their room mates before agreeing to move in. If you dont you may be stuck with random nonsense from individuals you do not know. Unlike dorms you cant call the RA or Housing to enforce certain things.
Good apartment complex! The rooms are tiny but cozy and everything else like the bathroom and kitchen are super nice, so it is worth it! They have a lot of awesome giveaways too.
Great place to live the staff is super helpful
If you and your wife wanna live in separate apartments this is the place for you… these people want $1400 for a husband and wife couple in the same bedroom in a four bedroom unit.
Dog park isnt much bigger than my living room. Pretty constant water leaks in the hallways when it rains. Gym consists of 90% cardio machines. Can find way better price points elsewhere
I’ve lived here at The armory for over a year and have had a great experience! The staff is always helpful and they do resident events that I enjoy.
The staff has been great and very helpful. Anytime I have any questions, I can just call or email and I always get a fast reply. This is gonna be the nicest place in Huntsville and right near campus. I cannot wait to move in and live here!
Went to tour for Fall 2022, great amenities! Thank you Sarah for your excellent tour! Definitely considering living here especially with the incredible specials!
The armory is a fun and convenient place to live. You’re so close to campus that you can walk to class, but you still get the luxury and freedom that comes with living off of campus. 10/10 recommend.
Pros:-The events they hold-Nice apartments-Friendly/helpful staff-Starbucks machineCons:-People parking in your spots-Always need your key fob to get in-Curfew for rooftop areaOverall Im resigning my lease I like it that much.
The armory has been an awesome place to the live the staff is very friendly ,especially Kenneth, and often host events for everyone at the apartments.
Martha Hernandez was so helpful and made apartment shopping so easy for my mom and I, Martha is a very personal, kind hearted employee and I would recommend her and the armory to any Future Sam Houston resident.
I called the Armory at Sam Houston and Alyssa Bunch picked up the phone! Super helpful and knowledgeable about anything and everything! Cool amenities and conveniently close to campus!
To all Parents that pay the bills!Love the place my student loves it so thats good enough for me.Beware with the use car sales solicitation renewal letters strategies are being use to terrorize the state of mind of your student. The following wording in the renewal letter sent to our students I find it to be offensive, intrusive, alarming, and uneducated:1)Non Renewal Risk2)This is a 24-hour notice3)Someone is trying to reserve your bed4)You are at risk of losing your current space5)If your documents are not signed within the 24-hour timeframe6)If we do not hear from you7)we will assume8)by not respondingAbove is just a few of the threatening wording being use in this letters.Instead of having a different approach to market more intelligently with out causing alarming concern sending the wrong message causing the family to worry when the students just begun the school year, is just not positive is the wrong way to market.Parents want to know that our family feels at home so they can learn and have a positive experience and express the same thats good marketing!!Perhaps Im overreacting and if anyone reading this feels that Im wrong than I stand corrected, I believe that if we invest in our children we leave better human beans behind, I believe we can achieve this by providing our children the positive support needed to succeed and that includes a bed a roof a meal and a good night sleep.Quote from the parents section/portal at this fine student housing:One of the best ways to set your student up for success is choosing the right apartment that not only feels like home but provides residents with the tools they need both for academic achievement and a well-rounded college lifestyle
Riley is the best tour guide ever!!!! He answered all of our questions and was super nice. We even came back for a second tour
The Armory has very knowledgeable staff and is welcoming as soon as you walk in through the door! Looks great and cannot wait to move in!
Riley was an awesome tour guide! He was more than willing to answer any and all questions and shared his experiences to help guide us!
This place seems really nice. All the staff was friendly. Love the floor plans. Riley was a great guide and answered all of my many questions.
THE WORST PLACE YOU COULD EVER STAY. They don’t care about renter courtesy & yes the amenities are great, but management definitely doesn’t care about people who rent these apartments ! No notice of rent being taken out and there is no communication whatsoever between the management themselves . Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !!!
Love the staff they are so amazing and helpful! Riley, Maureen, Helen, and Kenneth are all amazing people
My daughter will be attending Sam next year and we loved the Armory. Courtney was so helpful and friendly.
Love living here! Perfect walking distance to campus and local hot spots! So happy I renewed for another year! 💙
I’ve lived here for 3 years and I loved it. It’s super close to campus which is great. The maintenance crew is super fast and does a great job.
The armory is a beautiful and wonderful experience. I absolutely love living here and I love the people that run the place! Definitely renewing my lease!
Omg!!! It’s so amazing! Sooo modern but homely, and I absolutely love the gym and pool, especially with the hours. I call it my “Other arm” because I don’t know what I would do without it.
Since management changed my experience has been very very well and outstanding. The staff is more than whiling to help with anything. Plus Emily and Oscar are the best and most friendly.
Great place to live! The staff is always eager to help and are very professional. The property is clean and maintained well. I highly recommend The Armory.
If i could leave less than a 1 star review I would, dealing with this place and its management has been hell, they never know whats going on and getting in touch with someone in charge is damn near impossible. along with violating our lease and having false charges put on my account. im glad to finally be moving out of this place
Simply put, great property! The assistant manager was very pleasant and showed such professionalism. Overall awesome experience!
Great apartment and I was well taken care of by the staff whenever I had an issue with anything. I would refer it to anyone that is looking for big spaced apartment.
All they care about is money. The apartment staff and manager are unhelpful in all aspects and will do anything to get more money out of you. Dont live here if you dont want to be taken advantage of.
Cc was very helpful with answering all my questions about renewing my lease and other things regrading the Armoy. I look forward to staying with you guys!! Thanks again cc!
Love the property! The staff is very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Courtney helped me and answered all of my questions!
This property is awesome! The team seems to love what they do and the communication from management has been great!
The staff is really nice and always are able to help when needed. Kenneth especially whenever I need help getting my packages or have an issue with my mail.
Loved the hospitality. Great vibes. Courtney was great. Loved her personally. 10/10 live there
Place has been very clean and nice, had lots of fun and a lot of good amenities
I really enjoyed work with the Courtney. She is super nice and bubbly and always has a great attitude.
I have lived here a little over a month and my apartment has not had a working ac even after contacting the managers numerous times.
Came to tour at the Armory and Riley was wonderful at answering all my questions during the tour. I’m definitely considering living here for the fall!
I recently toured the armory and signed a lease and I couldnt be more excited to move in in a few months!! The rooftop lounge and the rooms are amazing!!😍

The property was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a great tour and the units we saw were nice!
I’ve been living at The Armory for about a year and a half and I love it! The best part — how close it is to campus, it makes life so much easier!
This place is amazing! Such a fantastic location and the office team is very friendly.
I LOVE THE ARMORY !! Everyone is so kind ESPECIALLY Riley, Maureen, Kenneth !! AND I LOVEEEE HELEN !!
My wife and I toured the Armory and Kenneth was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! It seems like a great place to live!
A great place to live at! It’s fun and they always have cool events for the residents. The staff is always friendly!
The staff is SUPER friendly and the community is AWESOME!! All of the resident events they host are really fun! Definitely recommend!
Thank you Maureen for a great tour! Very thorough and informative. We appreciate you taking the time to help us out especially on this rainy day
Helen is literally the best!! She helped me so much with a problem I had and fixed it without hesitation! Thank youu
Pretty great! Overall great accommodations and quick maintenance response times!
The staff was very helpful and they were very accommodating! Customer service is one of the best I’ve seen in town!
The Manager Helen is super sweet and caring! Apartments are so nice!
Helen the Manager is very friendly and takes great care of the property.
I enjoyed my tour today with Riley. I can’t wait for my move in day during the Spring Semester.
Had an amazing experience!! kenneth was amazing and gave us a really in depth and informational tour!!!
Very good work. Definitely friendly and did an excellent job.
The staff is awesome and very helpful. I always get a fast reply anytime I have any questions. This is the nicest place in Huntsville and right near campus.
Leasing staff is warm and welcoming and the living community is nice! Best off-campus option for SHSU students!
Kenneth was very helpful! Answered all my questions and had great customer service! 10/10
The new management with Landmark has tremendously made a difference in the living experience here at the armory. Talk with Q at the front desk for the best rates!
The armory works great with me, maintenance is never an issue, and I haven’t felt more at home anywhere else while at Sam!
It’s the best to live if you’re a college student. Very close to campus, staff is very friendly and their maintenance is there in a timely manner. I would resign here.
The leasing office staff are always kind and helpful to residents. I really appreciate them working hard to meet the needs of residents.
The armory is a elegant and fun apartment complex to live at!! The management is amazing and truly cares about their residents.
Love my tour guide. Beautiful place. Really loved the layout of the 4 bedroom.
My daughter lives there and I find Courtney so helpful whenever we needs anything, rather either of us ask a question or need assistance.
Thank you Riley, for the tour of the property. You were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all the amenities the Armory has to offer.
Went in to the office to ask some questions about the community events and other details about the apartment. Kenneth was very helpful and answered all of my questions.
Ebaa was great, we came 30 minutes before close and had no issue giving a tour
Kenneth toured me around, was very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who was interested.
New management has been great! I haven’t had any issues and it’s close to campus which is great (:
I love how they are always posting and keeping everyone updated! They are so helpful and are always handing things out to make a fun living environment and keep everyone involved!
Customer service was excellent! You can tell they really care about their guests with their service!
Had a wonderful experience touring with Sarah. loved the atmosphere & what they had to offer!
Its cool. Indoor parking is pretty cool. Youre literally right on campus so dont need a parking pass.
The armory has great staff, all kinds of fun events, and an awesome place to live!! 10/10 would recommend 😉
Cleaned the drains well but left my bathroom a bit of a mess with the residue that came out of the drains.
The Armory is the best place on campus to live. The pool is amazing and their staff care a lot about their tenants here.
The from office is so helpful with whatever I need. All questions are answered right away or within 24 hours love these apartments !!
Staff was very nice. Dillon was very helpful!
DO NOT STAY HERE, the managers will offer you anything to sign a lease and once you do anything that you did not get from them in writing will not be honored because these people cannot be trusted, they will charge you for everything they can for the smallest amounts of dirt, they do not enforce the pool area noise level at all, and the management has no ethics at all
I toured with my friends because we were apartment searching and I know we have found our new home!!
10/10 would tour again, our tour guide was great and made us feel extremely welcomed
Riley did a fantastic job on our tour. Very professional staff.
Amazing staff and always willing to help!! i love living here!
Our guide did a great job explaining the ins and outs of the apartments and its utilities!
Maureen is the absolute best!!! Took a tour with her today and had the best time!
