Cornerstone Apartments

Just moved out of this place. My experience. They rushed the cleaning on my apartment and paint was horrible. It smelled like must throughout my stay here. My building became infested with roaches and they never fixed the problem. The pool was never open during summer. It was open for like 2 weeks during the summer. They just give me the vibe like they don’t really care. The management and staff write their own reviews on here so watch out. Only reason for the 1 star was the roaches it was so bad. You know it’s bad when it’s mostly babies.

I used to truly enjoy living here. I am a current resident and do enjoy my apartment. HOWEVER, their inability to handle the towing issue is heinous. They have contracted JD Towing, which is a piss poor company that uses threats and bully tactics to make money. After being reassured that my parking sticker was fine since they never had the new ones in stock, my vehicle was towed, along with half the complex. Until the work out this issue, DO NOT rent here.

Happy is what this apartment makes me. I moved here last month and everything has been wonderful. The office ladies made our move seamless. The maintenance men are fast and efficient. They had my move in form done the same day. I look forward to being here for awhile.

I’m living at cornerstone apartment for a 1 year and I absolutely love it! The apartment layout made me feel at home. The staff is very professional and friendly and the maintenance crew is quick to respond to any problem.

I normally do not leave negative reviews, but in this case I feel this is the only thing I can do. I have been living here for 4 years now, and have only had issues with the new management. My AC has been leaking for a week! I put in a request on Sunday night and no one came out to check until Wednesday! Pictures attached of the leak. They were in the apartment for all of 5 minutes, I asked them to check the bedroom carpet for any damage and mold and they did NOT. The maintenance guy said the issue was “fixed.” Clearly mistaken, whatever he did made the issue worse and now I’m walking around in inches of water. Another request was put in Thursday evening, only to receive a message on Friday saying no one could come out until Monday morning!!! The water is coming out so quick I can’t keep up. My PERSONAL TOWELS are soaked within seconds, and I have buckets under the dripping pipes. Offices closed on the weekends with no way to reach management or maintenance for the amount of water in my apartment.

The management is absolutely horrible, Crystal is unprofessional and rude and smells really bad. We live in Texas and the AC continues to go out and they take forever to fix it. They are always shutting the water off without notice. They clearly do not care about their tenants, but they continue to ask for their rent to be paid on time. Very ghetto. Not very demure. Crystal is too busy worrying about responding to reviews instead of handling business at these apartments. Do better.

I have been living at cornerstone for a couple months now and have no complains. Maintenance has fixed all my issues and this is a quiet community. My personal experience has been great here at cornerstone.

Everything that can go wrong will go wrong in these apartments. I tried calling 3 times on August 19th “Crystal” ( office lady ) did not even set up their phones. I then tried calling the other complex they run (woodcreek) and a gentleman told me to wait 5 minutes and the phone should be set up, I tried being patient and called 25 minutes later, still the phone was not connected. From 3 months without a dryer to now a month without an a/c, I can honestly tell you this is the worst place you could possibly live with the worst management around. The 24 hour maintenance number is a complete lie, they do not come and help. We called tonight to attempt and get a window unit put in since the 2 installed were taken out and we were assured our ac is fixed. If you enjoy sleeping in 85 degrees I’d suggest a tent over these apartment complexes.

New management is horrible. There have been water leakage problems in my apartment leaving my roomate unable to be in her room for over a month. They will always tell you maintenance is coming tomorrow (tomorrow meaning next month). They tried to blame these issues on our cat. We even got a black light to check. We asked for some compensation for this issue they told us that they couldn’t because it was the cats fault and they had addressed the issues (even though they had not at the time). All they did was shampoo the carpet. Asked for dishwasher drainage issues to be fixed, they never fixed it and marked it as completed. I had to fix it by myself. I had packages stolen and spoke with one very nice lady, she told me there was nothing they could do. So if you choose to live here I recommend cameras because they do not have any. Edit! After moving out they told us to leave the wi-fi router in the unit and that they would return it. Turns out the wi-fi company stopped doing that months before we moved out and Cornerstone never told us. Now they are costing us money because of their extreme incompetence.

The staff are amazing! was so helpful with the process as im a first time renter! highly recommend by me! and the refer a friend get 300 off rent is so helpful !

Went in looking get information about the apartments and was given everything I needed to make my choice on where to move too when my lease expires. The customer service was awesome and knowledgeable

This has been the worst experience . Management is incompetent (Crystal) and leasing agents are rude, unprofessional, and are allowed to commit fraud. I would assume this practice is condoned by the management company and owners since the manager Crystal supports these actions. I’m actually looking forward to seeing these people in court. If this is the best Huntsville and Cornerstone have to offer renters, pack your stuff and leave.6/15/24I have attached the bill you sent to my daughter. Apparently you are confused about the conversation we had on the phone. Let me help you. I explained that I would pay for the window but I needed an explanation for all of the other charges listed. You stated that you couldn’t talk to me because I wasn’t on the lease. That’s understandable but it took several phone calls from the tenants to get a price list which didn’t coincide with the listed charges. To sum it up, my daughter was fighting one of your untrained employees (and she’s wrong for doing so) but now you think I’m going to upgrade your technology, refurnish your office, buy you a new cellphone, and purchase jewelry. No ma’am! That’s fraud and at this point we will do our talking in court. I have reached out via email several times and did not receive a response. I can attached those as well if it would be helpful.

Never ever rent from here. They are ran by the same SlumLord company as Woodcreek! Mold broken appliances, riklity old stairs, leaks everywhere, they paint over mold & stains, their patch jobs in the walls are barely paper painted over! Roaches are so hard to fight!

All of the staff and maintenance are very friendly. Absolutely love how maintenance responses quick whenever we have a request! They will work with you on everything you need help with. Cassie & Natasha are very nice. I bring my daughter up there to say hi to them! I would recommend this apartment along with Woodcreek apartments. Very nice place!😊

Great experience! looking for an apartment asap and i did not have a good credit score and they helped me out ! 🤩 i would definitely recommend!

I just started living here this fall, I haven’t had any issues. I did have to put in maintenance requests for my AC and toilet, within the day they came out and fixed everything for me. Best experience I’ve had with on site maintenance.

I contacted this community for information and the office staff was very friendly and listened to my needs for my new home. They were very informative on their community.

So far so good, been living here for a little bit over 4 months 👍

Genuinely perplexed as to where the good reviews are coming from. nothing about this place has been worth what i pay. no one is ever in office, nothing ever gets done, nothings important. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Worst management EVER. Don’t even bother not even worth your time . The apartments are trash. Do NOT RECOMMEND!!

Very hard to locate. Apartment parking lot really needs to be updated and kept up. Over all this complex needs updated remodeling
