Don’t ever rent from them. Terrible property managers. DTI properties will give you a fee after move out and at no point will you be told anything. Save proof of your security deposit cause they are trying to screw you out of your money

Might update later. I received my bill from my previous apartment a little less than a month ago. They agreed to let me make two payments (which I am thankful for) and shortly after they did I made the first payment. I have an idea what the bill should be as I paid off half plus any of the dollars that were less than 100 and the extra cents. Over the last two weeks I have sent multiple follow ups asking for an updated statement and I have been attaching the receipt from my first payment. Its interesting that the online service for former residents is a PayPal account, but whatever. I have the receipt. The last thing I want to do is be sent to collections over a couple dollars and cents that somehow managed to get missed and they have been no help in getting me the information I have requested the last couple of weeks.

Straight trash this company has no interest in the well being of their tenants nor the upkeep of their properties. This company is an embarrassment and should be shut down. The property I live in should just plaster CITY DUMP on the front entrance because thats all it is. From the number of homeless foot traffic to the drug deals to the constant crime and stench of Marijuana this property renaissance at stoney creek is a complete rat hole. Automatic gates dont work the pool has a cesspool of mosquitos and leaves next to it the buildings roofs leak a/c is constantly going out buildings exteriors are falling apart animals living in the ceilings. Do not rent from this company they raise the rent every year but dont reinvest into their properties.

We lived at the Hillside Chateau Apartments from 2021-2022. We provided them with a 30-day notice and was out by 12:00PM. We cleaned the oven; refrigerator, the closets and floors. Two years later we found out they sent us a bill for $1,100. We notified them by phone and e-mail. They said the matter is out of their hands. I guess theyre going under. Theyre Apartments had flies coming out of the vents. We couldnt get rid of them. The pool and laundry room was horrible. I guess theyre down to scamming their ex-residents for money now. The raccoons have taken over, stay away from them!

I moved to Jacqueline Arms, which DTI manages, in 2019, because the rent was cheaper, and it was affordable for me. Not anymore. The rent has gone up substantially with no upgrades and no amenities. That was fine when the rent was acceptable. My income has not increased as much as the rent has. The only thing this place has going for it is the experienced maintenance man that works here now. The parking sucks. My car has been hit twice while in a parking spot by characters. I know Im not the only person going through this, but it is still very depressing.

I moved to university place apt at 2501 Lake Road. The apt complex itself is very poorly managed. The manager I think her name is Nicole is very rude and unprofessional also racist. She is very manipulative and condescending in her behavior. All they do is sit and eat load and loads of pasta. They don’t care abt the renters it’s summer and the pool is still closed. You cannot get a courteous answer from her. She’s always sulked today she sent me a harassment notification saying STOP land that I owe $1.18 should be paid by July 10 or their will be incurred fees Tiffany was a way way better manager and more professional see the notification attached

Santa Fe Trail Apartments is managed poorly by DTI properties. My experience with Santa Fe Trail Apartments is a pretty sad one. The apartment I rented is roaches infested. The roaches have made many people at my job to move elsewhere. Thank God, I moved too. However, its expected that those with Security deposit at Santa Fe Trail Apartments would get a bill in their email at the end of their leases instead of a refund of their security deposit. Getting someone to talk to about the mystery email is absolutely impossible. Infact, better business bureau ought to look into that organization to correct the unethical business practices.

Management is great. Solving issues not so much. I moved in Sept midway through started smelling cigarette smoke, now they have done their best to get tenants to smoke outside I think I dont know. Tenants arent listening and this is bothersome. With my health issues, smoke can make me very ill, like Ive said they have done their best so far but has come to a halt they havent come into my unit to check my vents. Maybe its time for an upgrade to either repair the vents or get rid of the old system and put splits (AC) they can do that. at the very least offer to put me in another unit comparable to what Im in. Disappointed tenant.

Debra (the property manager) is amazing! If you need any assistance you can either go in or give her a call and she will help you out. I love living at Forest Gate! The maintenance team is amazing and is very knowledgeable and get things fixed in a very timely manner. Shelby (the office receptionist) is always on top of making sure all your paperwork is on time, and stays on top of giving friendly reminders so you don’t forget! Forest Gate treats all of their tenants like family! The staff go 110% on making sure the grounds are kept up and all the tenants are happy. When looking for an apartment, just sign a lease with Forest Gate and you won’t reget it one bit. I’ve been a tenant since late July 2018, and looked at several other properties before making my way here and meeting Debra. Let’s just say I looked and leased immediately without any hesitation or doubt that I would regret it! I actually recently signed an additional year lease. As long as I’m in Huntsville, and still living in apartments, Forest Gate will be home! Keeping giving 110% Forest Gate, your tenants really appreciate it greatly!!

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. If I could rate this place a 0, I would without hesitation. This place is horrible. The staff are absolutely disrespectful and not helpful at all. They lied when we signed our lease saying they would never enter our apartment without written or verbal warning, and I caught the property manager using her key and entering my apartment while I was home. I was belittled and disrespected when I confronted her about it. I was told that she had the right to enter my home whenever she pleased. She sat in her chair, smacking her gum, and flipping through a magazine when I went to complain. On top of that, they told us they were going to void the pet deposit when we signed the lease in May, then in October gave us a lease violation for not paying the deposit that they said they voided. They entered my home without consent using their own key to put the lease violation on my coffee table!! The property manager is one of the rudest people I have EVER encountered. The office is never open during the hours that are posted on the outside of the office, they never answer the phone when I call, and the water in our apartment is brown and smells horrible. I would advise people not to get stuck in this hell hole for a year.

In June I put down a deposit to hold an apartment at The Vinyards for August 1st. I was told that I would recieve a lease emailed to me right away. I never recieved an email or a phone call. This made me feel very uneasy about moving in, so I found another place to live. When I called to ask for a refund they refused to give it to me even though I was not offered a lease. I looked at several apartments in June that are owned by DTI and the staff at each place was very unhelpful and rude. I will never live in an apartment owned by DTI. If I could give zero stars I would. I am not done fighting for my deposit to be refunded and will pursue small claims court if necessary.

I signed my lease in May with Papermoon, I paid a prorated amount for that month and paid the summer storage. So I have not lived there. Since May I have put in multiple requests to have the carpets clean along with other issues that needed attention. The carpets are old, smelly, and full of dog hair. At no point did I sign a paper to rent that room “as is” so my concern to have a carpet clean is reasonable. The women in the office have not been helpful, they’ve made my roommate and I feel as if our request are too much. The manager talks to us with an attitude, and for almost 3 months we have had to deal with the incompetence of the whole office. I fully regret signing here, because it’s caused too much stress and I have yet to move in.

They are the least flexible company I have ever dealt with. Dont let their charming people fool you, they only give you a 24 hr. grace period for rent, not even in emergencies do they even try to work with you, they dont do extensions on dates if you get a job relocation, maintenance takes at least three days to fulfill a request, and when you move out they charge you more than I have ever been charged at any other apartment complex. Do yourselves a favor and find another company/apartments.

The Huntington apartments seemed nice till we moved in we moved into an apartment that has a roach problem. Whatever you plug into any outlet immediately falls out. Two weeks into moving in the office call wondering when we planned to pay our rent because they failed to mark it as paid. A neighbor told us that if your late a few days on your rent they come into your home, take items of value then immediately sell it for what you owe without giving you a chance. It sounds as if it is owned by a crackhead.

My family lived a year in a complex this company owns in Lufkin, Tx (Silver Creek Apartments) about 3-4 months after moving out, we received a bill for $273 and the listed charges were bogus. The company refuses to talk to customers and does not reply to inquiries of the bill through any of their stated forms of contact (mail, fax, email). They only want payment (whether correct or not) otherwise they are rude and will just send your charges to another rude bill collector, QAR. I will be reporting them to the Attorney Generals office, and even higher if need be. This is dishonest and illegal.

We live in University Club Apartments in Waco. Management is okay at best. Lot ot roach complaints, but we took care of it instead of waiting for DTI to. Our dishwasher hasnt worked since we moved in about a year ago, and despite the many times weve asked for a work order, it still doesnt. Its part of the amenities promised, but apparently those happen when they feel like they should happen... we have drug dealers in our building that management has been made fully aware of, but they choose to do nothing about and dont really cooperate with the detective on our case about it (different story for a different day). I definitely do not recommended. Might as well move into Trendwood around the corner or the ABP Waco Apartments in Robinson. Its all just the projects. But I keep getting text messages about renewing our lease. Thats hilarious. Carol cant manage this property for anything.

Don’t move into any DTI property! Please. Save yourself the stress and headaches. Don’t be swayed by the cheap pricing and how close it is to campus. Your deposit will never be returned, the office staff is always rude and unprofessional, your apartment will need maintenance the moment you move in and good luck getting someone to fix it. You’d be better off living in a tent. Probably cleaner.

Dubious organization, credit killers, Liars, exploiters BEWARE Im just gonna be brief they coerced me into paying for damages at my old apartment COPPERTREE that they managed, I disputed the Final bil despite loosing my deposit to them.they sent me a letter in the mail trying to explain the bill but everything was made up and they claimed to put photographic evidence of the damages I allegedly caused in the apartment but no pictures were attached, BEWARE dont live at coppertree or any of their apartments if you do, get ready for case with third party etc or risk damaging your credit score if you dont corporate and pay their exorbitant alleged final bill. Take Note: all their apartments are poorly managed and unkept. Rude managers and staffs. very unreasonable their priority is milking money from their old residents at all cost .

I am a full time college student at SFA I really wanted this place to feel like home but i guess not; it is infested with roaches I can’t even go to sleep at night just thinking I’m paying rent for roaches to live here too. You’ll definitely should have put that on the lease too ROACHES!!!!!!!

One of the worst properties group in Texas. They hold properties on almost all the big university campuses except Dallas. Almost all the properties are infested with cockroaches and bed bugs. If you report these to the respective office none of the office staff cares. They will try to blame you for everything even if you moved there a week before. Their main business is exploiting international students.

Lots of hidden fees and not willing to work with you poor customer service.Took my ability to pay online away and told me well sounds like that’s a “personal problem” when I said it’s very difficult for me to go to H-E-B to pay.Staff treats you like a number. Also high turn over rate of staff probably won’t see the same person more than a handful of times.

I’ve called on multiple occasions at different times of the day and they never answer. They also don’t have a voicemail set up or any options. Go ahead! Call them right now and see that they don’t answer. I emailed them, same thing, non-responsive. I am a tenant and need a issue fixed. Anyone in charge or what’s is the deal here? Pathetic!

They send out charges over a year after moving out, Im not sure that it is legal or within their statue of limitations. You cannot call them, they only accept fax. Extremely shady company.

They own university club waco which I live at the place is slum and the manager refuses or delays repairs for months to aid her bonus pay. They take advantage of those who they know know are scared of retaliation.

The apartments are subpar, at best, are in serious need of updates in almost every category, the air conditioning units are ancient, it took my sister 6 months to get a dishwasher fixed and the shower constantly runs, nothing has been done about that, the office staff is SUPREMELY unhelpful liars, and good help you if you get a package delivered and need to pick it up, because its easier to say the mail hasnt come yet than to dig through the pile of packages waiting to be picked up.

Villa West apartment is not the place you wont to stay at they will take your money an the way the handle business is very poor an I just experience a bad situation that I didnt like it could void my mother in law got a CT for nothing all she was trying to do is get my money back an the apartment they was going to give they gave it to someone else an I told them that I couldnt do the stairs but they gave it to me anyway an the apartment was smelling dog scratches on the floor etc
