Pearland Air Duct Cleaning

Had my dryer vent cleaned out by them. They said its $89 for a standard dryer vent cleaning on the phone but theyll come out for a free quote, he said $275 because I needed a deep cleaning. I thought they would clean both ends for a deep clean but he only cleaned it out from the vent on the roof so I dont even know if its properly cleaned in the flexible pipe that connects the dryer to the vent pipe in the wall. I even asked him shouldnt he clean out from the bottom end of the vent as the chunks of lint would fall down. But he claimed that the air from the dryer would push it up and out of the roof vent. I wasnt about to argue with him but I made some calls afterwards and found out that he should have cleaned it out from both ends and should not have charged sales tax on labor.The guy was nice and showed up on time so I would give a 1 star because of them trying to rip me off. I realized their price was too high once I made some calls and found others who does a more complete cleaning for much less money. But Im giving a 2 star because they gave me a discount but then they raised it back up by charging me sales tax on a service that did not require any sale of products. I even said that he shouldnt be charging sales tax on labor for a residential property. I called into their office and complained. They did refund me the tax amount that I paid otherwise it would have been a 1 star review. Just be ware and get several estimates before going with them. And I definitely recommend cleaning out the dryer vent pipe at least every few years especially if it goes up to the roof as it does get clogged up over time.
