While I give credit to Ozzie Ramirez for renovating a dilapidated home next to me, his agreement (and lack of follow through) with me to contribute to the cost of building a portion of fencing should not be overlooked. Working with the Ozzie team has been my biggest nightmare. I thought I was making a smart decision to use one realtor to sell & buy a property. I was not expecting the realtor that sold my property to dump me on another team member shortly after selling our property. I was made many unfulfilled promises throughout our time working together from sending scouts out to my desired neighborhood to find people willing to sell their home to being given a percentage of the commission to go towards closing. There was not a single property that I viewed that was sent to me by either realtor I worked with. I was always the one sending HAR links to the realtor & asking that a showing be set up. Both realtors told me how they had connections & could see listings before they were live & what an advantage this would be for me….yet I was always the one sending houses & asking for showings to be scheduled AFTER they were live. On the property I purchased, I had a showing scheduled with the listing agent before my realtor ever even responded back to me! Asking this realtor to negotiate on my behalf was a joke. Everything I asked for was bawked at despite having multiple estimates & an inspection to support what I was asking for or it was suggested to me that I was going to “kill the deal”. I asked out of my contract multiple times when I felt uncomfortable or was unhappy with the results & I was denied every time. Then after getting a contract on a house I was asked to sign ANOTHER contract for the “compliance department”. If you are considering using this team, I urge you to get EVERYTHING said to you in writing & to talk to more than just their team of realtors because their priority is selling rather than working in the best interests of their client. I would NOT recommend using this team and I would be very wary of signing a contract with any realtor. You are more likely to get the home of your dreams and have greater flexibility negotiating if you simply use the listing agent.
