MANAGEMENT BRIBING FOR FIVE STAR REVIEWS WHEN IN REALITY, THE PROPERTY NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT STAFF, NEW MAINTENANCE STAFF, AND MAJOR UPGRADES. Realistically, the only amenity is the pool that some of the tenants use to wash their clothes in and half of the time does not work. I’ve had a very bad experience with this property management company, as well as all three of the managers in the office. Maintenance is an absolute joke. They take weeks to even respond to you and then they attempt to enter your unit with no Communication whatsoever. Imagine sitting at home and hearing someone fiddling with your locks and doors not being able to see what’s going on because your peephole has been painted over and they have refused to change your porch light. Maintenance claims work orders was finished but management or supervisors never follow up to see if they have been done or resolved. One of the most disappointing things is management clearly lying via text communication to tenants. Trying to reach someone of authority has been virtually impossible. The property is infested with rodents and roaches. We have not had air conditioner Or hot water or a working back door lock for months at a time

Do not move here ! No security people speed through here all times of day and night informed management they’ve done nothing, they make you pay $25 for a guy to pick up your garbage and throw it in the dumpster 50ft awaynight informed management, it’s not well lit or safe (stopped some people from breaking in cars) infested with roaches and there are all kinds of pit bulls and restrictive dog breeds living here that the owners can’t control sleeping on balconies. They clean the property every six months or if you’re lucky someone is coming by, people throw garbage all over, garbage juices all over. management does nothing!! the pool is terrible, the response from management is even worse! My garbage disposal was broken for over a week until I fixed it myself then then messaged me and asked is my sink still messed up not send someone not check on it… the response was just “ok” if you catch the property manager in her office I’ll give you $1… this place is getting worse and worse with every property manager change. It’s close to USAA and it’s cheap but that’s the only perks that come with it…

Poor management and maintenance staff if you sort the reviews by the one star lowest ones you see the most accurate reviews that have not been manipulated by the office employees. Shippy properties As well as quantum Leap or whatever they want to identify as have had several lawsuits stemming from poor maintenance and poor living conditions, please do your background research before signing a lease to live here

I was starting in city crest for 4 years, we are two adults. House was totally clean. While vacating the have not come for a floor walk, which we requested multiple times. Even are leaving the unit we requested to schedule appointment for floor walk, they responded they are busy!!! Finally after a month I got a bill of $491 after applying the security deposit ($200) I am supposed to pay $291. Today cheating. There maintenance is so bad, now when I connect the management is not responding. They have outsourced third party for connecting the balance. The third party is not even listening, they want to satisfy client so they are not ready to listen. Please don’t select city crest, maintenance is so bad, and on top of it they are cheating by putting incorrect charges with no proof.

Work orders for repairs take OVER a week to get looked at with no communication or care from management and maintenance. Residents have to try and repair stuff themselves if they want anything done. If it’s that backed up the maintenance team must not know what they’re doing or start bringing in help that’s what happens when apartments use cheap stuff breaks all the time. Phone calls are not being answered it just rings, no voicemail and no replies to emails. Request go ignored. It’s concerning how long repairs take to get addressed even after calling and emailing about the issues. Kids running around with no adult supervision throughout the parking lots. The landscaping needs to be addressed as well as re painting the property. Some area lights have been out for quite a while example by the pool that makes it pitch black at night. There’s several issues that go ignored that if the staff/ management would just walk the property would see.

I love living here. Stephanie and Samantha (the property manager) are so kind and understanding. I love how close I am to work and love how pet friendly it is here. Definitely check it out if you have a chance. Ma intende guys are kind and helpful as well!

City Crest Apartment Homes have gone from a decent affordable place to temporarily reside, to a place of theft, lack of communication from management, lack of action from management and continued, worsening vandalism. There are constant barrages of text messages and emails from Mayra Zuniga, community manager, desperate to fill empty apartments. Prospective residents do not want to live here for many, many valid reasons. Residents do communicate with each other and are extremely concerned.Residents, contact your local police department non-emergency number to file incident reports, as well as your local councilman in District 8 for additional guidance.Mayra Zuniga has not communicated to residents the recent three break-ins to the mail center, which is a federal offense. If you have been personally affected by this, contact your bank, file a police report, and contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service Department, where fraud is reported.Please be aware of your surroundings at all times and report anything suspicious to police.

Slow maintenance. I have to put in multiple requests for the same thing until maintenance comes. The water heater doesn’t work. Seems like every few weeks I have to come and get it fixed. Roaches everywhere coming out of the drains. Place falling apart.

I love the home I built for myself here, I like the area, the TWO maintenance guys are amazing! But the owner of the property does not seem like they want to fix things that are broken. Nobody in the office ever answers the phone or responds to your emails your complaints your concerns your cries for help lol so if you want to “live here” do it, but don’t expect help or concern from the front office or from the person who owns the complex. I’ve been waiting since I moved in for a response on my BROKEN kitchen sink and they don’t even respond to my emails or answer their phones. Other than that, it’s a place to live.Update: the new staff isn’t “required” to care about communication with the tenant. So keep that in mind when asking for help, opening work orders etc.

City Crest isnt a SAFE PLACE TO STAY, MANY cars are Stolen isn’t a petty crime.Moreover these people are targeting our community (especially) because either they drive out with a vehicle or walk out without being caught. No security measures have been taken or those measures aren’t enough to control these so called petty crime.Residents are already felt unsafe and no one would recommend this place for our friends and well wishers going forward.

🚨Loose dogs alert🚨 there’s several residents that let there dogs run from their apartment loose outside. There’s one dog thats big around 70 pounds not sure what breed but it’s white and has a leash attached no person/owner in sight. It’s always running around building 3 and 4, by the pool and then running around the front by building 1 and 2. I’ve seen this happen many times with the same dog. I’ve never seen the owner. I was walking to the mailbox this morning at 6am when I heard noises of a collar from a dog running towards me. I had to climb on the wall of the path way to get up to higher ground the dog ran straight to me and then chased cats around the property. I had to run back to my apartment to get inside. Very unsafe city crest please address the dog issues with the residents. I even drove around in my car to look for the owners to see who keeps letting their dog out and report them nobody was outside anywhere this is unacceptable to let dogs just run around by themselves because the owners are too lazy to walk their dogs there’s kids, people walking and other animals around very unsafe. City crest proudly accepts residents with dogs of any weight, size or breed not wise..many apartments put regulations and restrictions on weights, size and breeds for a reason for the safety of their residents, property and noise compliance.

I have been here for a little over a month, the most positive thing about this place is the maintenance guys. To be specific Sunny. This guy has gone above and beyond for me. My A/C went out the day I moved in. Just went out again two days ago. He took time out of his weekend to work on it a little more to try and fix it. Couldn’t fix it so he installed a window unit for me and sealed it off so my apt could be cool for my kids. I appreciate all he has done for me in the last month. This guy is elite and deserves a raise.If I didn’t have A/C problems I would have given it 5-stars.

PLEASE READ:--SORT BY LOWEST REVIEWS TO SEE THE TRUTH!!-MANAGEMENT BEGGING TO REMOVE BAD REVIEWS-BEGGING FOR 5 STAR REVIEWS WITH A PROMISE OF CARE PACKAGE AND SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS- CORPORATE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF OR A CALL BACK FROM TENANT RELATIONS- Apartment complex has very high crime rate, lots of cars broken in to, vandalized, as well as mail boxes broken-- Mail Boxes have been broken for over 2 years with management claiming they are working on a solution- Mail boxes are individually broken in to as well at random// No security lights or theft deterring devices to be installed-Maintenance requests have zero sense of urgency including working air conditioners, mold in the bathroom and living rooms, bathroom fans not working leading to mold-Property has unsupervised international children running in the parking lots damaging cars with their balls and throwing rocks with zero accountability whatsoever-Property is littered with trash and couches as well as large bulky debris left from and repairs they attempt-Management LIES directly to your face fabricating policys and the standards of operation ( for example claiming they follow up on work orders as well as lying about employees that preform maintenance- we had to show footage from our security cameras to verify that the employee was indeed a sub contractor hired by this company to enter our unit-One of the scariest things about City Crust is that they claim with ZERO warning and Zero notice they may enter your home at ANY point after a maintenance request has been submitted ( Ignoring the scheduling status and jobs notes ) As a female there is almost nothing more unsettling than someone unknown with no uniform or communication to be attempting to gain access to my unit, trying keys from who knows where and then results to knocking and beating on my door with ZERO words spoken that goodness I have a protection dog as well as personal protection that deterred the intruder or employee, hard to tell since they were wearing street clothes.- Managment enforces rules and regulations so some residents but not to all- 90% of the residents are international employees of USAA and have no idea how horrible this complex is-Complex takes advantage of tenants in so many ways, the tech lounge is inoperable, the pool is used by some for washing clothes, the grill doesnt work at the pool as wellSad to say after two years we would never sign a lease here again to be taken advantage of in these slums of a complex- we are happy to be a in house for less rent than we paid here

Initially began my application online and completed it there. Was in contact with Mrs.Roberta throughout the process she was more than helpful with any information regarding the property and with any questions I needed answered. The move in process was smooth and hassle free and again Mrs.Roberta and her manager made an accommodation to help with out with my move. Even after move in and completion of the inspection checklist the apartment complex and staff has been more than helpful and accommodating. I’ve met a handful of staff already and I’ve been here less than a week. Once checklist was turned in with some deficiencies, Mrs. Roberta herself to fix some of the issues. I’ve been here a very short time but don’t have any complaints so far it’s affordable quiet and definitely nice for what you’re paying. I’m satisfied with my decision and don’t have any bad vibes or any problems so far !

I’ve lived here for about 5 months and have had problems with so many things just about every month, there’s roaches and mice everywhere and when I go to book a pest control service no one shows up which is a requirement to be payed for, we’ve had black mold in our apartment and had to be gone for about 2 weeks and they didn’t bring our rent down for that time, our sink has been broken since November and it’s not February and still broken, our ceiling above our washer and dryer had water POURING down onto it breaking our washer and dryer and it’s been 2 weeks since they have even touched it I’ve spent more then $60 on laundry when I spent 1600 on a new washer and dryer. The communication and the management of this complex is horrible and they don’t care about there tenants.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the management and maintenance services provided by the city crest apartment. I have experienced firsthand the consistent lack of attention, poor maintenance quality, and neglect of resident requests.The management of this apartment complex has been nothing short of abysmal. It is evident that there is a severe lack of investment and commitment towards keeping the property upgraded and well-maintained. Basic repairs and maintenance requests are consistently neglected, resulting in prolonged inconvenience and frustration for the residents. It is disheartening to see that despite promptly submitting maintenance requests, they are often overlooked or addressed in a careless manner.In addition to the poor maintenance service, the overall condition of the property reflects a lack of investment and care. The common areas, including hallways, staircases are in a constant state of disrepair and neglect. The cleanliness is subpar, and the lack of regular cleaning is apparent. The parking and the landscaping is equally neglected which greatly diminishes the visual appeal of the complex.The mailboxes are converted to junk boxes and cant be considered mail boxes anymore as they are broken, deteriorated on daily basis and the management wont do anything.Furthermore, the closure of the swimming pool during hot weather is unacceptable. The pool is an essential amenity that residents rely on for relaxation and recreation, especially during the summer months. The prolonged closure without any clear explanation or alternative arrangements demonstrates a disregard for the residents needs and expectations.You may be aware that your property is getting empty as i am seeing people moving out of your property everyday . Terrible experience here at City Crest. Maintenance is incompetent. Management is even worse. Roberta, the leasing agent is helpful however. Hopefully they will move her into the position of community manager. Only then maybe there will be some hope. Communication from the community manager Mayra is terrible. You can tell she is underpaid, extremely unhappy and does not care. Residents not only witness but experience this.Shippy Properties, with close to 50 empty apartments, you may want to reconsider who is in charge here. It’s time for change.

I am disappointed in the way this apartment is being managed. It seems as if the manager Mayra is extremely dismissive and does not know how to confidently manage an apartment complex. It’s literally JUNE and 98 degrees outside and the pool has yet to be opened and was advised it will not be open. Funny how maintenance men can use the grill by the pool however it’s closed to tenants. And in regards to maintenance they half fix things and if something isn’t working properly they try to pass blame on tenants instead of repairing the issue. The mailbox is ridiculously damaged and has not been repaired. Floors are like wall decals as they are cheap and bubble up and rip including the terrible cheap paint on the walls that tear so easily. There are no amenities here whatsoever. Roberta is the only good thing about this place. Kudos to you, I pray you find an amazing reputable complex to work for because you deserve to really shine!

So Ive hesitated to write a review about this complex because weve lived here going on our 3rd year. Sadly, its out of necessity, rather than actually liking the place. In the 3 Summers we have lived here, our children have enjoyed the pool less than 10 times due to it always being dirty or worked on. There are 12 months in a year, and you wait until the two months that the pool is available to tenants to fix it? Our ONLY amenity at that. Our mailboxes are ALWAYS broken into. Within the last month, its been about 5 times. And the mailbox is not fixed, its hammered back into place. The security posted a sign of surveilance, and Ive never seen him since. We moved in Summer of 2021, so I was told that due to COVID protocols, we wouldnt be able to get anything fixed unless it was an emergency. COMPLETELY understandable. But here we are 2.5 years later and I still have all of the issues in my apartment that I had the day of move in. The manager at the time (Anthony) told me not to worry and that everything would be documented and taken care of because it was all cosmetic damages. (Ie: all restroom fixtures fell off and I couldnt put them back on because there were holes in the wall where the previous fixtures were, also never repaired. I had huge lines of dust on my ceiling coming from the ac vent that can not be cleaned because its popcorn ceiling. A hole in my bar wall where the make ready people hit it, not repaired, still there. Multiple tiles torn or moved up from them moving in appliances, never repaired. Holes in our kitchen ceiling where the old light fixture was and holes were not patched) My apartment has not been repaired since we moved in, yet my rent has gone up each year. The original toilet in my restroom was old and would take 4-5 xs to flush properly, causing a much higher waterbill. It took me calling continuously to get the office to take me seriously. There is always one staff member that gives me the run around and it is so frustrating because in the 2.5 years weve been here, not ONCE have I been late on rent or threatened to withhold rent because our AC is at 85° with two babies under two. We have also dealt with roaches since we moved in. And if we dont call every single week to let them know we want our unit sprayed, we dont get to utilize the service that we pay $25 for each month.. Im always understanding. I know that Im not the only tenant. But so many things can be simply maintained rather than ignored and pushed over.Maintenance is always kind and professional and just goes in to get the job done.But, WHAT AM I PAYING FOR?!Here we are in 2023. I have had more done to my unit in the last 3 months with Roberta in the office than Ive had in the last 2.5 years. She is always trying to help find a solution. Whether it be with our mail, work orders or communicating in general she is always on top of it. I was looking for an apartment for my children and I we needed a place asap. Came in and talked with Mayra in the front office she really listened to my situation. I saw a unit it was everything I was looking for and in my budget. She got me in, in less then a week. Its perfect for my kids and I to call this place home. Mayra has been amazing to us. I recommend these apartments if your looking for a quite cozy home.

(fitness center, dog park, resident lounge) Not to mention my laundry was stolen / messed with a few times.ROACHES. ALWAYS ROACHES. Maintenance men are nosey and unprofessional. There are a lot of kids that play in the street 24/7 and leave bikes and toys by / on your car.The apartments themselves are decent my rent was $885 but jumped to $925 and tried to increase again but I left. Paying over $1000 for a place with no microwave or gym or upgrades is crazy.The old manager Anthony was great. New manager Myra is awful. The Shippy management company has a bad rep too. Not only does she BUY GOOD REVIEWS she is quite difficult, unprofessional, impersonal, unfair, unpleasant and just rude tbh. Not sure she likes her job much. Maybe thats why they have gone through like 8 leasing agents and 5 maintenance guys. (Not over exaggerating) She also bad talks her own employees. (I overheard her talking bad about a pregnant / disabled employee.)I have had other issues that I didnt mention, Yes they were reported but NO they were not handled. Jus empty promises. Id avoid this and all Shippy properties, unless you are desperate. And even then...UPDATED TO ADDRESS THE OWNER RESPONSE:I am surprised you replied. I have been calling corporate for weeks. Not even an email back. But I digress.1. I didnt say anything about the people living there except that management didnt enforce any policies of keeping toys and bikes off other peoples personal property.2. There are other reviews that claim these 5 stars are paid reviews. Or as Myra ask, do me a favor reviews. Not to mention I personally know the people who left the fake reviews so yes she did BUY them. Only one resident lives there. 2 are from his friends. I witnessed the flirting non stop. They even have the maintenance man Ron leaving reviews.3. Not taking any shots. Just stating FACTS. I personally know the agent she was discriminating against. Not once but twice. If there was no discrimination, why is she no longer there?4. I think its funny that all of the positive reviews are 5 stars. Not even 4. And they speak SO HIGHLY OF THE MANAGER MYRA. Not even the leasing agent. Whose main purpose is to interact with people, but the manager. New residents rarely interact with the manager and spend most time with the LEASING AGENT. Coincidence? I think not.5. FURTHERMORE, insider trader secrets have told me, that some of these 5 star reviews... ARE FROM SHIPPY OWNERS THEMSELVES, maybe a regional manager. Lived here for a year and was by far one of the nastiest places Ive lived. You name it, theyve got it...roaches (tons of them!), feral cats, mold, water damage, etc. The closest laundry room to my apartment had 4 washers and out of the year I lived there, one of them was out of order for 5 months and was still out of order when I moved out. Maintenance does respond in a timely matter, but they will enter your apartment even if you indicate you would rather be home when they come. There was also evidence that either management or maintenance entered my apartment without notice or consent on multiple occasions and without a proper reason either. The only decent and professional employee I came across there was Adina. She was great and very attentive to my needs during my time as a resident there. The manager, Jessica, is one of the rudest, unprofessional, uncaring people Ive ever come across. Its clear she doesnt care about her tenants or her employees. She talks down to everyone she speaks with. Very little, if anything, is done to improve the living conditions or the overall customer experience in general. Be wary with this place and, if possible, steer clear. There are definitely better options in San Antonio!

The apartment complex gives a small town friendly feel. Things I look for are safty, comfort and timely maintenance. Management answers quickly, super nice and maintenance guys always looking for ways to work around one’s busy work schedule. The complex gives a safe environment since most people here exercise early in the morning, and late at night, Feels good to know someone is always outside when I am not at home. The community is very friendly kids and families mostly outside and we have get togethers that most people show up to, and some are hosted by management. You will definitely see people outside conversating, at all times of the day. Uploaded a few pics of our beloved 4 legged family members. The huskies mine the Yorkie is our neighbors. Absolute worse place to live. These people don’t care about you. They are only looking to make a quick buck and still want to hold you to your contract. Maintenance cuts corners. Management just wants to cover their own by holding you to your contract. Roach infestation is out of hand. Trash vallet is just that, trash. Save yourself the hassle and stay away from this place. They advertise that they are under new management, however the old management is preferred. These people represent Shippy Properties. Stay away from Shippy. They are probably going to respond with a snarky comment to cover themselves. Do not let them get to you. With the way this place handles their business, consider yourself over paying by 300/mo. Staff and maintenance are very friendly. Both of them will get back to you quickly with great service. Also its a safe neighborhood full of families. But with that, there are tons of kids playing in the streets. Very hazardous and you have to watch it when you park. We had a horrible cockroach problem that pest control couldnt fix. There are no cameras in the community laundry rooms and our clothes were stolen.

Extremely disappointed with this apartment complex. Maintenance services are nonexistent, and the leasing office shows zero concern for residents needs. Poor customer service and neglected amenities make for a frustrating living experience. Communication is a major issue as well. Not recommended.

Neighborhood is quiet, complex is maintained well and clean on the outside. Moved in during the summer and so far no issues with neighbors or management. I will agree with past reviews regarding the wicked roach problem though. These buildings are quite old, as well as the cabinetry in my particular unit. Some areas arent sealed off adequately, or the previous seals have worn away over the years, Id assume. Im extremely tidy, cleaning daily, zero traces of food anywhere, and I have no pets. I had pest control come in and to be honest I dont think it did anything. Anyone else have feedback on the roach issue, or any other tips/ideas working for you? I love my apartment overall, and would hate to be driven away by these seemingly indestructible pests.

I lived in the City Crest apartments for about three years. Most of the issues I had were fixed promptly upon putting in a service request, with a few small exceptions, but my place developed a HORRENDOUS roach problem after my first year there. I dont even know how many pest control appointments I had to make before they let me know they would be charging me for them in the future. Apparently a technician told them my place was unsanitary because I had a pee pad out for my dog. I paid for a maid service to clean the unit when I moved out, but received a bill for a whopping $8 from City Crest because of the roaches they already knew about. They even kept my refundable pet deposits. Tread carefully!

The company that took over the apartment complex within the last year seems to be making an effort to maintain the property while Ive lived here (e.g. Repainted parking lot, worked on foundational repairs, sprayed for bugs). In the past I had a hard time getting them on the phone because their office was being upgraded. Now that the upgrade is finished it seems there is a quicker response. I also had an interesting situation where maintenance said they completed a task on the web even though it was very obviously not taken care of. When I put it in again as a high priority I was contacted and an appointment for repairs was made. The community laundry is not bad and it is nice to know there is a pool if I want to go swim in the summer. They are also good about posting paper updates and sending emails. People walk around at night, but they tend to keep to themselves so I feel pretty safe. I am thinking about renewing. If there is a better deal around this area I havent been able to find it.UPDATE: All of a sudden the management thinks it’s a good idea to gouge their customers with services that do not provide the benefit promised. Trash people we are forced to pay for, don’t collect on time or at all in circumstances. I am forced to pay insurance even though I have renters, because they go through a third party service it’s not their problem. Staff is unfriendly and the place is infested with roaches that became even worse after spraying. I am ready to get away from this place. Not even mentioning the increase in rent at the end of the lease. It’s driving me crazy.UPDATE: 5 months after leaving this god forsaken place the give me an 88 dollar fine I was only able to learn about through an update on my credit score. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. Backstabbing business practices completed by a scar on by perfect credit score. Thanks a lot, jerks.

I have lived here for two years and about to move into a bigger unot for my 3rd year! Its such a quiet and clean property, when i forst moved in i was worried since it would just be my toddler and I but the property is so lit up at night with evening security so i have always felt safe, plus the other residents here keep to themselves and pretty quiet! Have had minor maintenance issues from light bulb replaced to just a filter change, but they always respond quickly, The manager Adina is awesome!!! She always does what she can and so glad to have her managing this property!! Any concerns i have i always talk to her! Again, she is great!!!

Mesa Ridge is absolutely HORRIBLE. My building has an infestation of bugs that management cant seem to get under control. All they continue to do is spray the apartment with a chemical that increases bug activity for two weeks and does nothing to fix the problem.The apartment and appliances are also very old and unappealing. Theres a lingering odor from surrounding apartments so get ready to tolerate that if youre moving in.Theres also a MANDATORY $5 pest fee for someone to spray a bs chemical around your building. Not your apartment or even on your floor, just around the building. Also a $41 cable fee in addition to your rent, regardless if you have your own cable provider or not.Rent is very cheap, but on average, youre looking at about $65-70 worth of mandatory charges a month in addition to rent. Be sure to read the fine print before signing your lease.Theyre currently on the third new management team since Ive signed my 13 month lease and none of the teams have had a proactive approach regarding the bug infestation or maintenance issues.If youre a current resident, I feel for you. If youre considering signing a lease, may the odds be ever in your favor.

This place is horrible!!! Would not even give it a 1☆ rating. Smells coming from inside the apartment, bugs, roaches....just found out they sprayed for German Roach infestation.Get flyers on our doors telling us the agenda for the maintenance but cant even keep it. Told we cannot park in certain areas for a two day period OR OUR CARS WILL BE TOWED AT OUR COST...NO EXCEPTIONS. Work was never done or started. Nails in tires, workers busting windows to replace old ones. Many complaints to corporate with no results. New office manager just tells you I was not there at that time....sorry.Pool closed all summer so far, part of the package.I dont care how many times they spray for roaches....there is an infestation here. Ive had it, hard waking up with bugs crawling on your arms....little Nats everywhere....spray does not work.Do yourself a favor and well Im sure you can guess what Im saying.

This place has a huge problem with bugs. Ive kept a clean apartment my whole time here (3 years) and still had an issue with roaches. My first year here a few buildings where treated for bedbugs. A couple in the building next to ours even had a SNAIL infestation. How does that even happen? The worst part of all is that the management is abhorrent. Dont believe the couple good reviews you read online that mention management--Ive talked to people theyve paid off to remove bad reviews or alter them to be more rosy by removing damage fees from their final rent payment. The truth is Jessica is a horrible person. She lies to people, cocks off to them, and worst of all: if she doesnt like you, your issues will go unresolved until you reach above her head for results. The big hail storm san antonio had a couple years ago resulted in hail damage to the roof of our apartment that they let go for SEVEN MONTHS. Every time they said they were going to work on it, all they did was put a tarp over the damages that would get blown off every other month and cause more leaking. It started as a super small leak and turned into a COLLAPSED CEILING by the end of it due to their neglect. I even had to have the citys code enforcement agency come out and threaten them into action it was that bad. Theres better places to live in the medical center. Do yourself a favor and just stay the hell away from this place and its hardly human leadership. They will all get to go home to bug-free, dry, warm beds at the end of the day. You wont.

If I could give this apartment a zero star review based on the customer service that was received I would do so. However, I have to leave something in order to post this review. It came to my attention that my identity was stolen by one of their past resident in Oct of 2017. During this process this unidentified/unmentioned person (respecting said person privacy, I will be kind and not release her name. We will simply go by the name J.P.) happened to get evicted whilst using my identity leaving a large delinquency under my credit. Being in property management myself I understand that sensitive information regarding a current/past resident is not allowed. However, I reached out to the property manager Adina Sanchez in order to resolve this matter on my behalf in an expedient manner. As one knows, when dealing with the Credit Bureaus it can be a timely resolution; that of which I do not have. I requested that the property research the dead files regarding this matter to simply confirm that I am NOT the individual (J.P) that rented, received an eviction, and left a large delinquency under my social security number. Being in property management myself. I KNOW that all management companies will allow this research and clarification regarding fraudulent activities. Not only will the property manager refuse to assist me regarding this matter and simple clarification, the corporate office has yet to contact me back regarding this issue. If I were to give any person some advise, I would urge them to reconsider leasing or doing any business with RADCO Residential Properties and/or Crest City Apartments located at 4900 USAA Blvd. It is unfortunate that this company and property is refusing to clear the indiscretions that their team allowed while leasing to applicants at their community. As anyone know it is customary to request identification for the person proving that they are indeed the individual that they claim to be. It only leaves me with the understanding that they may not have done their due diligence during this process and allowed (and may still allow) for such behavior. Covering up such indiscretion is a shame and just bad for business. Fore warning to any interested renters, DO NOT RELEASE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION TO THIS PROPERTY OR COMPANY. I lived here for a year and the PLEASE do not waste your money or time. The staff are not good people. They are pretty Shady and be very careful on what you sign and agree to. They will not take the time to review or explain what they have put in the lease agreement. Also please be aware if you have any service request they will never get done. You do see guys drive around all day on the gold care, but rarely do you see them accomplishing anything. Also if you put a deposit do not expect it back or if you do expect it to be delayed because the manager is clueless to what is going on.

In case of early termination u will still have to pay the rent for ur full tenure. EX: If u sign 13 months lease and happen to leave in 6 months due to unavoidable work commitments, U will still have to pay the remaining 7 months rent. Funny right? There is no concept of Early Termination concept in their lease agreement unlike other neighboring communities. As genuine we can pay upto 2 or 3 months as early termination fee (its acceptable to some extent) but who would pay 7 months rent?Dear IT folks working in nearby area dont get trapped and sign an unflexible lease if ur stay in San Antonio is uncertain. Read further reviews about this community by other residents who lived and experienced the pain and then decide for urself. There are a lot of good communities nearby do some research and before considering this.Lot of bugs, roaches, pool is dirty, laundry is full insects, stray cats, unclean apartments would be given during move in, refrigerator and kitchen shelf will not be cleaned, Closet would be filled with dust. PFA..Jessica- Manager is very rude, never smiling, and very unprofessional, she simply says I was not here wen u signed the lease so tats not my responsibility She is quick to get rid of her responsibility and will try her best to chase u away from office without a solution or answer. Update 2: After following up the leasing team fixed it. will wait till the credit bureau removes the remark.Update: as per the response I tried contacting them no response, more than 10 calls. Its just marketing strategy they use to make sure the concerns are addressedDo not ever considering staying in this apartment jsut because it is 5min close to USAA.I lived here for a year then moved out of state for work. I paid all my dues and settled everything (which is 60 days notice + lease breakage fees + 85% of reletting fees) that was close to $1560. On top of that my security deposit of $200 was also completely charged for cleaning (I have evidences that I left the apartment much cleaner than I was handed over with) I am still ok with that. Along with that they sent the charge sheet covering $200 and told me I had to pay $26 for overstaying. I gave my notice on Jan 14th so officially 60 days is till March 14th. I mentioned the same and was told it is covered and I dont have to pay.City crest sent me a balance of $46. Not theyve mentioned that I have to pay $26 and reported against my credit profile which became a derogatory remark. All this for a person who paid without missing a single payment for the last 3 years in the US?No formal communication was sent out that I had to pay $26.

Worst apartment complex I have ever lived in, and I have lived in many. It is an old property but it seems there have been no efforts to update it. There were some fairly shady characters that hung around, so if youre going to live there, lock your doors! They have a patrolman occasionally but there was still what seemed to be drug activity, gunshots and the soda machine broken into (twice). I lived near the Mexican border most of my life and I felt safer there. To top it off after three of us cleaning the apartment after we moved out, were still not getting our deposit back! They told me I owed extra since we stayed a week longer, then told me I paid too much but they had to use that towards cleaning the place too. My advice is scrape up a little extra cash and live somewhere else, ANYWHERE else from my experience.

DONT MOVE HERE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN. This place is NOT clean. The whole complex has a horrible roach problem. My lease is up in July and i have had pest control bomb my place almost every other month AND IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. And theres even larger roaches in rhe laundry rooms and pool area. When i first moved here there was a roach on the wall but i figured maybe it was because no one lived here. The whole apartment was dirty. If you walked barefoot for 2min your feet were pitch black. The fridge was NEVER cleaned. Theres all this food and grime in the vents of the fridge and it looks disgusting. The walls had so many cracks and gaps, like on the sides of doors and what not. THERE WAS NO CONFUSION HOW THE ROACHES WERE GETTING IN. In every room of the apartment there was walls with big gaps its disgusting. We made a maintenance order for them to seal everyrhing off, we even bought our own sealant, and they did a horrible cheap job. It didnt even look better. They just slabbed it on unevenly. We took over and did it ourselves. And of course, the number of roaches in my apartment went down, but it didnt stop them. I look for them, i expect them. Every time im getting ready for work i kill about 3 of them. Im so sick of this it is so disgusting and not a way a human, or a child for that matter, should be living. I dont even trust my dishes half the time. Another thing when we first moved in, we had a leak in the bathroom, coming from our upstairs neighbors shower. The first time they fixed it all they did was seal of the hole the water was coming from. But all that did was create water damage on the walls, the walls were literally soft to the touch it was nowhere near solid. SO I WAS ASSUMING they would be replacing the walls but nope. They left them like that and took out tiles from my shower and were able to access where the leak was actually coming from. Then replaced the tiles with INCORRECT tiles. And the sealant they used for that is not waterproof. So of course its slowly chipping away. We also have MOLD growing on the top of the shower on the soft, water damaged ceiling. What did they do? THEY BLEACHED IT. TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THEY TOOK CARE OF IT. THE MOLD IS COMING BACK. Its spotting through. So everytime im in the shower i get to stare at mold and hope theres no roaches on the shower curtain. The apartment also hired the most shady people to do their remodeling. They leave NAILS EVERYWHERE. IT IS NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN. Everywhere i go i see nails or woodchips, i even got a screw in my tire from them and had to get a brand new tire, LUCKY FOR THEM my insurance covered it. When they came to replace my window they got glass EVERYWHERE. And i saw them look at my porch that was covered in glass AND THEY SAID NOTHING. And im so glad i checked the crib cause there was glass in their too. The window also had huge gaps along the sides so we have an open wall again and a huge roach came through it. And the remodeling crew stare me down everytime they see me, sometimes i stop walking and look at them so they acknowledge that i see them but they just stare at me. Sometimes they drive by and stare at my porch too, almost like theyre looking for me. IT IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE. And theyre rude about parking. One time i was coming home for lunch and their car was parked in the way so they can talk to someone, they looked at me, WAITING FOR THEM TO MOVE, and they just kept talking and i was late to work. They didnt even put screens on the new windows, they installed new porch lights with no light bulbs. THIS PLACE IS A SAFETY HAZARD IN SO MANY WAYS. IT IS NOT WORTH THE CHEAP RENT. DO NOT MOVE HERE. And everytime i go into the office i have to repeat my whole life story of living here AGAIN because they never have the same people working, its always people from their sister complexes, Does anyone work HERE at all?******UPDATE 06/06/2017*********staff still hasnt responded to me but proceeded to send pest control out again, which was not requested.

This apartment was good. I was a UTSA student. This apartment was close from the UTSA, and a lot of shopping places were close including H.E.B, Target, office max, a lot of restaurants, gym, bank, and so on. Moreover, it was a quiet and peaceful place. I could study anytime even at night without any problem. My neighbor was very kind. The people who live here were kind and respect each other. Many people said that apartment staffs were rude, and they did not come to fix some stuffs, but actually they were fine and whenever I had some problem such as electricity problem or food disposal in the sink, the guy who was in charge of fixing came and fix it right away. No matter what, they will come and fix the problems in 24 hours or maybe faster than that. I think its depends on how urgent the problem is, but they will fix you when you tell them. Im moving out cuz of the school.

For starters, the A/c units are old and dont work very well or like mine doesnt work at all. Ive called them twice in the past 3 days, and not even a response to my calls. So I call during their business hours and no one is there at 3pm when i get off from work. The big problem when I moved in was horrible pantry and all closets had roaches in them. The staff keeps changing so thwre is always a mix up or they didnt get sinething and its just bad. But you get what you paid for

Experience here was horrible, they saod carpet was brand new but wasnt... The walls in my apartment had only primer on them walls look bubbled up in certain spots and they will send you to eviction court for only 1 month they say they leave notices on your door but they dont... They will not work with you on that at all the lady manager is rude, if you went here get everything in writting amd have them sign it.

Good location (bus station, shopping stores, schools, restaurants, easy to get on the highway..) peaceful, quiet, no bugs, many parking spots.. It was a nice apartment to me.
