QD Restoration

These guys showed up to my house and removed a 36x 36 piece of wet Sheetrock from my laundry room. They replaced it with plastic and staples! I have a 4 week old w/d. They were packing up their fans and just left my w/d in the middle of the laundry room. I had a one inch space to open my garage door. They had torn the air vent out of the wall and the dryer. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it. I called their boss. He made them repair and push the w/d against the wall. When I woke up the next morning my Acura had been spray painted all over with purple paint. My driveway, front door and door facing, along with with Ring had all been spray painted. When I called the boss he told me to pound sand unless I had proof. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have no enemies and I know one family in my cul de sac. There was a car parked in front of my driveway and it was not vandalized. None of the houses or vehicles in my cul de sac were vandalized.

David and Francisco from QD Restoration deserve nothing less than a five-star review! They meticulously removed and demolished my shower, finally uncovering the root cause of a persistent water leak. My wife took a week off of work to be home for the repairs and they never showed up. We called multiple times and never heard anything back. I recommend calling Restoration 1. They called us back within 2 hours and they are going to get us an estimate the same day. If possible, they said they would try to get the work done before my wife has to return to work.

The team at QD restoration is amazing. Rene, Franco, Jared and Charlie responded quickly to our leak and stayed with use each day until the work was done. I hope i never need their services again...but if I do, these folks are the best!

Worst experience. I would give negative stars if I could. Our house flooded and QD came right away and pulled out all sorts of stops to try to save our floor. Turns out they missed how far the water had spread to another room (how I do not know as it’s their job to see scope of damage) and the floor couldn’t be saved. Our insurance said they grossly overcharged us and neither was willing to work with one another so we ended up paying thousands out of pocket for all their fancy machines that failed to do what we hired them to do -save our hardwoods. They also left trash around and their sister company IronFoe that did our renovations tried to cut corners at every turn and even reuse damaged cabinets when they had insurance budget for new ones. Such a stressful experience. Hire anyone else!

We called in an emergency, the response time was quick and the technicians Jared and Charlie were both courteous and professional throughout the process. Everything was explained to us in detail and all of our questions were answered. The work was done faster than we expected too which was a relief during a stressful situation.

The Project Mgr., Mr. Hernandez, has been by everyday to check on the restoration going on. I am confident my shower will be restoted better than ever.

David and Franco came to our home to help with our water damaged floors. It’s a huge job but they have been great at working with our home insurance company and explaining all the fixes to us. They have also been patient and helpful with our many questions. They are hard working and professional. We are grateful they were sent out to us.

David with QS Restoration did a great job drying part of our home that had water damage after hurricane Beryl. He communicates well and is reliable. We’d use him again.

I recently had a plumbing issue in my home which unfortunately left me with some water damage which needed to be cleaned up and repaired.Rene and David were able to come out on short notice and remove the damaged drywall and flooring and set up some fans and dehumidifiers to dry everything out thoroughly. They were friendly and knowledgeable and put up with all of my annoying questions which is always nice 😉I was very happy with the work done, and would recommend QD Restoration to anyone needing work like this done.

I would never do business with this company again! They Billed more than my insurance covered which I had to pay in addition to my $2000.00 deductible. They also billed for services that were not performed. They Damaged the cabinets and granite by prying against them. They did not remove the entire granite slab or haul it away. They harass you about payments but will not respond in a timely manner to emails requesting information about their incorrect billing. or why the insurance did not pay for their services. I could go on but that should be enough to either find another mitigation company or really scrutinize them and their work and estimate.

David and Francisco were great! They let me know exactly what they were doing and what to expect. Very courteous and respectful of my home, ensuring everything was covered and protected. Definitely would recommend having David and Francisco and QD Restoration help with your plumbing issues.

Francisco and Charlie were amazing! These two were very detailed, thorough and took every measure to protect my belongings, they put plastic over all of my surrounding equipment, and taped everything very secure and went about their demolition job. They were fast, courteous and very careful. Along with their technical proficiency, they took the time to answer any questions I had about the work they were performing! I wouldnt recommend this company at all. I had a pipe burst mid Jan. The plumbing company called this company to come out. When they came out to the home everyone was nice. I asked multiple times for an estimate and each time they assured they would send it to me. They also reassured that they work with the insurance companies and I wouldnt have any out of pocket expenses for the water restoration. Hindsight, I see how naive that may sound but put in a vulnerable situation with everyone sounding like they want to help and do whats best for their customers, you tend to believe it. Again called multiple times to find out what next did I have to call my insurance, did I have to send the estimate? No response. I called to find out when I they would send someone out to finish the repairs. No returned calls. My first communication was a month later from their claims specialist urging me to contact my insurance to have them settle on the amount they were billing me. Again I asked for a bill and updates on the renovation. No response. I had to email 2 more times and again it wasnt until my insurance refused to pay the $5k for and 8x5 room. My insurance was the one who sent me the invoice and my insurance agreed to pay 90% of what QD billed for but QD refused to accept that agreement. Now Im getting emails asking for payment but still no updates on the renovation. Not a very good experience and my utility room is still ripped apart.

I had the pleasure of meeting with David & Charlie today for my bathroom restoration. Both arrived on time, were very patient with all of my questions, efficient in their work, and did a very thorough clean-up.

I had a water leak in my home and QD came out immediately to assess. Every time they came out to my home, they were on time and able to work around my schedule. Renee and David did an excellent job in explaining the restoration process of fixing the water leak in my ceiling. They made sure all my furniture was safe, and did a good job of deconstructing the ceiling and reassured me that they would send all necessary documents, pictures, and paperwork to my claims adjustor. Unfortunately we had a leak within the wall of our upstairs shower that made its way downstairs. Charlie and Imeri promptly got to work and made sure to handle the issue of clearing all water damaged items. They took great care of removing and boxing personal items avoid further dust or debris during the restoration process. I thank you two for your assistance today.

So i fell into my 3rd water leak at my house thanks to some nibco pipes. My daughters room carpet was flooded and the drywall wet. I got the plumbing fix and then this awesome team from QD restoration came out and dryed up the water pull the bad carpet and drywall and got me ready for reapirs quickly and efficiently. Charlie and his team were productive, qucik and flawless. They have great character and very nice personalities. I thank them for their hard work. I hope the next team will be as efficient.

The QD Restoration Team (John and Rene) who arrived onsite today were professional, informative, and nice. John, arrived with is infrared equipment and quickly identified the moisture present and made it clear to what was to expected moving forward and the insurance companys process as well. Rene, entered the room ready to cut into the ceiling, sanitize the area to prevent mold/mildew, and stated what the next steps were (even mentioning 24-hour support service).The guys were pretty cool.

QD restoration has done a fantastic job cleaning up my water damage after a leak in my water heater. Everyone has been very helpful and friendly, while also working with my schedule. Those who came to clean up Rene, Francisco, Guillermo, and Imeri did a great job packing up our items carefully and finding all of the water damage. On the equipment checkups David and John also did great. I would definitely recommend all of these employees and QD for help restoring your home after an accident.

Had to update my review. This company has to be by far, one of the worst in restoration work.What should have taken a couple of days work... took them over a month and caused extensive damages to my home along the way. Expensive damages that still need to be repaired or replaced!They were negligent in protecting my floors, bathroom fixtures and granite, as well as cutting to deep into the walls and 2x4s. They even cut into existing plumbing and then kept quiet about it!The only thing they were quick on, was always having to leave shortly after arriving for a day... because they had other jobs around town to run to!Would not recommend this company to anyone!!

It’s never pleasant when you have to rip out a good chunk of your ceiling and have close to 10 fans blowing to dry it out, but David and Charlie took an awful experience and made it so much more manageable. They were kind, efficient, and clean. Through their work, I have no doubt that we’ll be able to put our house back together!

Water damage due to a leaky water line. We just purchased our home & 2 months in, it caused sheet rock & floors to buckle by kitchen. Yesterday a pipe on our hot water heater broke and we have water damage to the hot water closet & our master. Francisco was there within 15 minutes to document, take pictures and walk me through the process of the clean up & repair. The following day Francisco and Jhon came over to demo, they were extremely professional & calmed my nerves with each response they gave to my questions. I would highly recommend them for any restoration work! I can’t thank Francisco and Jhon enough for being very professional and friendly to my girls who were curious on what they were doing.

QD Restoration had there team out much quicker than I had expected. Charlie and Guillermo came out to my residence today. They worked very quickly, treating the situation with much care and urgency because of the sewage water damage. They had to remove a significant portion of my kitchen ceiling to set up many fans and plastic tubing for dry out but were very considerate in doing so, so that I could still get around them with as much ease as possible. I was expecting it to be a mess but to my surprise they did an excellent job cleaning up! Very thankful! I would highly recommend their services and would use them again for all services they provide!

While experiencing water damage was unfortunate, I was lucky enough to find QD Restoration. Things are still drying out and need to be put back together but so far all has been excellent service and craftsmanship. Francisco and Charlie did a great and professional job cleaning up a laundry room issue with mold. They were 10 minutes early to the appointment, and finished the job in exactly the quoted amount of time for the agreed on price. Sal did the original evaluation and was professional and knowledgeable. Im very happy with my experience and would use their services again if needed.

We had an annoying leak and David and Charlie showed up within one day to tackle the demo and help dry out our ceiling. This is our third experience with a leak from the 2nd to 1st floor, but this was our best experience in terms of how clean they left our space and the neatness with which they sealed up the wall with the blowers. Sal, Charlie and Imeri are experts and first-class. I had a kitchen sink leak that damaged cabinets and sheet rock. Watching my kitchen be demolished was stressful, but Sal, Charlie and Imeri made the overall experience calming and positive. David, Francisco, and John from QDRestoration have been a life-saver! I was panicked after my plumber told me that my toilet was leaking under century-cast-iron pipes and that the tile in my bathroom was contaminated with water damage—I was like what?! But they came in to demo the bathroom, remove the damaged materials offsite, treated the subfloors and any other affected areas, then they installed fans and filters to ensure all structures were sound and dry. Francisco and Ray did an awesome job with the water damage we have inside the house, they came less than an hour after we called them for help which i think was a good response time for an emergency.

David, John & Charlie from QD Restoration were earth angels for my husband and I. We experienced a terrible flood in our home. The first Restoration company that came out only focused on removing the carpet and installing fans etc. They did not even do a good job at that, leaving our furniture on wet carpet, and some baseboards in. I am awaiting back surgery so I am little help to my husband for moving furniture. We rented a POD, and posted on Facebook a request to hire help. We received several responses, but one from QD Restoration telling us they can help, and how it should be part of our insurance claim. They explained so much! They were, prompt, super friendly, respectful, and willing to do whatever we asked. They moved a ton of our belongings into the POD, and then moved them back into our home exactly where we wanted them. We could not have asked for anyone better!! The staff was very courteous. They assessed the areas of damage; explained what they would be doing to promote the removal of moisture/water to include an approximate timeframe. Once they completed setting up fans/dehumidifiers, they informed me of the need to check the status of the dry out process daily. From Wednesday - Saturday these staff returned; conducted scheduled follow up readings & informed me of those findings. Once the dry out process was completed they explained the next step to restoring my home from the water damage. All presented themselves in a very professional, competent fashion. Hope NOT 2 need their services in the future (who wants water damage to their home) but I would unequivocally recommend them.

Sal, David, and Charlie came to the rescue today. I contacted a plumbing company Goettl to inspect a possible water leak. Unfortunately it was bad. They recommended QD Restoration. Sal showed up and walked me through the process. We made the insurance claim and then David and Charlie showed up to begin removing the damaged sections. David and Charlie were very professional and courteous. They showed me the damage and what they were going to remove. I appreciate that they were very thorough in their inspection, and found some laminate in the adjacent room was also damaged by the water. They left the area clean and notified me of what would happen next.

Getting my ceiling repair accomplished after a pipe burst was unnecessarily lengthy and the staff at QD gave misleading information. It was a costly mistake using their services. Items that were placed in a shipping pod were damaged, and although they said they would contact the pod company to cover the damages, it’s been over 6months and no word on the resolution. I’ve requested follow ups at least 10 times. They also still have not given me a final invoice to reflect paid in full so I can’t receive the depreciation payment from my insurance company. They claimed I blocked their number so they couldn’t get ahold of me which I did not do. And the over all experience with them has spanned 8 months now. Ridiculous. I do not recommend QD based on the lack of professionalism they have exhibited. From telling me they would handle things with my insurance, which they didn’t do, to saying I’d only be out of pocket my deductible, also a lie, I could have fixed the issue myself for what I came out of pocket on with using their services and I could have saved myself months of headache. Beware of what they say, if it’s too easy, it’s too good to be true.

The QD Restoration team arrived as scheduled to complete the dry out and tear down in my garage water heater closet which incurred water damage resulting from a leak. Francisco , David, Charles and Rene completed the work in a timely and professional manner. Extremely please with the service.

Charlie, David and Imeri were awesome. They showed up really fast. They really took the time to explain the process to us and were very sympathetic to our problems. My toilet overflowed allot foulness into the house and they were there the next morning. The team was professional and clearly experienced. David ,Charlie and team, decontaminated the living room bathroom and part of the dining room by 3pm. This entailed Pulling vinyl flooring and cutting the lower portion of the walls then setting up fans , and treating the area.My wife works from home and her work was not interrupted.Thank you!

I had a pipe burst and my plumber immediately referred QD Restoration. While the pipe repairs were made I was contacted and Ray came over for a quick assessment same day. Next day right on time, Joshia Charlie and Xavier came over and walked me through the process before removing anything. My walls were cut, counters and cabinets removed and fans are drying everything out. Nobody ever plans to call a restoration company and it is never good timing. Today, however, I called QD Restoration and was very quickly greeted with a very friendly, extremely professional and courteous representative. His name is Tyler W. and he could not have been more helpful in explaining the process that was about to happen. When he left my house I felt totally comfortable with his company in my house, helping to access a leak that couldnt be found without them. I know there are 100s of companies that do this work but when someone like Tyler takes a personal interest in your problem, listens to your concerns and explains it to you until he is sure you understand, it sets them apart. I can honestly say Ive never had customer service like this, anywhere, period! Also wanted to mention the two guys they sent to do the dirty work, Josiah and Charlie. They were in and out as quickly as possible, answered all the questions I had and cleaned up like they were never there. Quality people, quality work! Communicate very well and are customer service oriented. Charlie and Sal did an awesome job with the demolition and dry out that was required and took care not to damage other parts of the home in the process. They ways call about 20 min. before they arrive which I really appreciate.

QD Restoration helped us clean up after our water heater broke causing damage on two floors. Francisco came right away on a Saturday to inspect everything and the next day Sal and Xavier came for the demo and cleanup. Everyone was very professional and they did a great job. I had a leak in my ceiling from my upstairs bathroom. Guillermo and David came and very professionally remove the ceiling panels and part of the wall and checked out the damage, and set up blowers to ventilate out any moisture, prevent any additional damage. They are both very professional.

I GIVE THEM ZERO STARS, THEY DON’T DESERVE ONE! THE ABSOLUTE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! A WORD TO THE WISE, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A SCAM! I’ve paid them over $100,000 and they won’t return my call or just give the insurance what they are asking for, the insurance company thinks they are scam artists as well. The owner of the company will not take my call as he wants to let his employee deal with me, I’ve been working on a claim now with them for 2 years! They won’t give the insurance company information they are requesting, and here we are 2 years later and they still won’t give it and the insurance doesn’t have it! Very unprofessional! They don’t answer calls they don’t respond to text and they don’t care about customer service! Ray Mendoza was my point of contact and he’s disappeared. The owner I think his name is Austin, won’t take responsibility for his employees or his company’s poor performance either. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Sal and Guillermo took a stressful situation and helped me feel calm relaxed and in control 😌. Not only did the do their job great they took an extra 45 mins afterwards to be with me for the insurance claim, coordinating with the plumber, the guys who gotta cut a hole in my ceiling, and the ventilation-mold equipment stuff. 2 1/2 hrs. From pipe busted to problem stopped insurance claim finished and work started.

Updating my review. Do not sign any paperwork or allow them to work on your house until you talk to your insurance company. This company will overcharge you so please either talk to your insurance first or get second and third opinions. They also recommended me to every construction company who never got back to me and wanted to charge me for an estimate. Horrible company.

QD Restoration provided excellent services in response to water damage due to a plumbing issue in my home. I am very appreciative of the demo services that Sal, Tyler, Xavier, Josiah, and Charlie conducted to include removal of soiled/molded items caused by the water damage. Sal came out quickly after we consulted with a plumber about mitigating our water damage from a possible slab leak and skillfully walked us through the process. Charlie and Xavier arrived when scheduled and did a great job of removing the sink area (sink/countertop / damaged cabinet), as well as removing damaged tiles and exposing wet carpet to be dried. After they removed the damaged property, they set up the fans/dehumidifier and cleaned the work area. They will be back today for moisture readings/checkup. Everyone has been very professional in helping us deal with this water leak.

Great company to deal with. From initial contact with Sal to working with Charlie, Francisco and Ryan it has been a very good experience. They have all been professional and provided excellent customer service.

Ammending my review of this company- They broke my central air unit while they were working here....We had to pay $1100 out of pocket to have our ac compressor replaced- We had to go without central air for 2 days in Texas Summer. We have sent them the invoice several times which they have not replied to and continue to send us their invoice asking for payment in full. We have called a few times on seperate lines to talk with them about it and no one returns our calls. We had a claim adjusted go over our loss and write up an invoice based on what was actually done Vs what we were billed for and the $3000 they received from our insurance company was already an over-payment by $500- between that and the ac compressor they broke, they owe us money if anything. Today I received a call from a collection agency looking for payment so now that is going to affect my credit for a month until I can dispute it.****The AC compressor overheated due to placement of your dehumidifier, you had it blowing direcly in to the unit which is why it overheated- It was not low on freeon, they had to add freeon when they replaced the compresson- and no one from your billing department ever called and went over anything from me, we called and left several messages and sent several emails, no one called back or replied- the only person who reached out to me was your collection agency after you refused to reach back out to address our concerns.

QD restoration was referred to me by my plumbing company to come and set up there drying machines in my bathroom. There team was prompt and accommodating for every appointment and answered all of my questions and kept me informed as to what was being done. It took about 10 days altogether for drying out, and asbestos testing. They broke up the necessary tiles needed to check for leaks and did a great job of cleaning and hauling everything out.
