It’s the perfect mix of small community while still feeling like you’re in a different town. We love the architecture and scenery, it sets us up for a great environment to be in. The convenience of having many businesses/stores/restaurants around us is amazing. The staff is friendly and attentive, we couldn’t be happier to live here.

Even though the complex is in a great location and the apartments are quite nice, the security is terrible. My son got his new truck broken into, and no one from management helped. A couple of days ago, my sons mail was robbed right in front of the door where the mailman left the package. We have proof of the robbery thanks to our neighbor. He took the video to the office to identify the person, and they couldnt help either. We know for sure the robber lives in that building because he was wearing pajamas, and it was early morning. They have to hire a good security and install more cameras around the property.

Exceptional Service and Beautiful Property!I had an amazing experience at Paseo Residences at Eilan, thanks to Amy Acker, the Leasing Manager. Amy was incredibly helpful, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She answered all my questions and made me feel confident about choosing Paseo for my friend. The property itself is gorgeous, with a prime location and well-designed amenities. It’s clear that Paseo Residences at Eilan prioritizes its residents’ comfort and convenience. If you’re looking for a luxurious place to call home, I highly recommend reaching out to Amy—you won’t be disappointed!

Absolute worst experience! I was a long term resident here and was transferring to a larger unit. The unit was not available for another month after my current move out date so they extended my lease. I go to tour the apartment a month later and it was the wrong unit…. I walk in and alarms start going off….. I had just walked into someone’s home. I let the office staff know what’s going on and they say Krista the manager would reach out… they also said that the unit I was supposed to transfer to was given to someone else…. After it was promised to me 3 months before. Krista did not call me nor return my calls for 3 days so I set up an appointment I called to confirm appoint ment the morning of and she happened to be out of the office so I reached out to willow bridge. We ended getting the model apartment but a month after living in that unit am accused of sexually harassing staff and trying to intimidate them. Never was I told exactly what I was accused of nor was proof shown….. we had to move out, they got attorneys involved. Now months later they are still spreading their “story” about us and slandering our name as they were before. We are not the only residents something like this has happened to. Ever since willow bridge took over these apartments have turned luxury living into the worst experience ever. Look elsewhere, this place lacks genuine kind people and enjoy started drama, stressing residents out and trying to intimidate them. (When I finally spoke to Krista in person she threatened me multiple times and lied over and over according to their attorney)If I could give them -10 stars I would. My first two leases were great here my last one was the the complete opposite. You can honestly find something just as nice but cheaper and avoid all of the crime and drama associated with these apartments . The only good thing about these apartments is Matthew the assistant manager..he needs to take over and turn that place around!

Great location, poor management, very dirty apartments.I moved here a month ago. They charge two trash fees! Total of $45 a month which is mandatory on top of the rent.Corridors are always dirty and smell like an old trash can. I complained about the trash room issue and cockroaches coming out of that room and going in my apartment, multiple times. They did not care. My request to move out got denied and I’m going to take these pictures and videos that I have to the city.I pay almost $1, 700 after fees for a one bedroom apartment and I have to throw people’s trash away every night to be able to go to bed with no smell in my apartment. Do not let the location fool you. STAY AWAY

Worst apartment complex. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Management does not care about noise complaints at all. They won’t even give repercussions to people who stomp above you all night and don’t let you get any sleep. On top of that they do not care about your security at all. Countless of cars are broken into, stolen, slashed tires etc!!! What does management do?? nothing. They don’t install security cameras at the parking garages and when you try to call the security guard he never even responds! Save your money and get a lease somewhere that actually values your safety and well being.

I am an employee and work at a sister property but live here. I have to say I am soooo impressed with this property! Time for me to give my unsolicited opinion:First off - I love how there are nice restaurants, a coffee bar, beauty shops and other places entangled in the community - such a cool concept! And across the street from La Cantera and Six Flags. This location is PRIME.Secondly, the property itself is stunning and very unique! (Almost European-ish style)When I first moved in last May, the prior management company did not seem to be keeping up with the property. However the new company (whoever that may be) seems to be finally getting everything under control. Props to them, because I know this place is GIANT.I decided to renew my lease. I also love the people that work here! Everyone has been extremely helpful and I have only had positive experiences so far.I see reviews about crime listed here as well, and (being in law enforcement) I think it is important for people to know that it can happen anywhere - in the worst part of town, best part of town, gated, not gated. Now that I am done rambling, I happily give Paseo Residences At Eilan 5/5 stars! I will report back if/when I ever leave.

Trucks Owners BewareMy family and I moved into The Paseo at Eilan about a year ago and were initially thrilled with both the complex and our apartment. The apartment itself is lovely, and management has always been very kind and friendly. Overall, we’ve had a great experience living here—except for one major issue that has cost us thousands in damages due to two separate break-ins targeting our 2015 Tacoma. The first break-in (Image 1)happened over the summer, causing extensive damage to the truck. We filed a police report, and fingerprints were taken. SAPD directly requested surveillance footage to continue their investigation, but unfortunately, there was no footage available. We notified management of the broken cameras in the garage, hoping for improvements to help keep residents and their property safe.In the fall, our truck was broken into again, resulting in even more damage. Unknown individuals smashed another window, damaged the paint, and went through the interior, searching for anything to take—even though the truck was completely empty due to the previous incident. SAPD informed us that the off-road and rugged look of our truck likely made it a target. Again, we filed a police report and informed management of the ongoing issues, initially hearing that we might receive some help. Since then, we haven’t seen improvements in camera functionality or gate reliability, leaving the garage area vulnerable. After two break-ins in just a few months, we ultimately had to sell the truck, as we couldn’t afford fix the windows every few months.Since The Paseo at Eilan is an open community, security challenges like these are understandable, but they could be mitigated with functional surveillance, better lighting, and a gate that works reliably. Additionally, more frequent security patrols in the garage area could provide a stronger deterrent to these incidents. For those considering living here—especially if you own a rugged-looking vehicle—be aware that people may break in just to see what’s inside. We’re sharing our experience to help inform future residents.Despite this issue, we want to emphasize that our apartment itself is wonderful, and otherwise the management team has been outstanding and very welcoming.

Loved living here until the break ins of vehicles started going rampant. After filing two police reports, SAPD claims it’s common in this area. Management claims gate is working properly and lied to my face after I’ve been parking there for months without a sensor that requires it to open. My brand new 2022 Challenger was actually stolen from the parking garage that anybody has access to. And today my other car was broken into and damaged. Mind you anybody can go into that garage due to the gate being inoperable after 4 months. Again, management claims all is working properly. Don’t move in here if you drive a Dodge or a truck, it will be vandalized or stolen.Update: 2 weeks ago from now another busted window that’ll cost me 500 dollars.Since getting my car back I have had 2 theft attempts on my car since Mid January both around 1-3 am in the morning. Both times I ran out my apartment and saw dodge chargers driving off. No security at all. And gate still busted. Also we had a bad mold problem in our apartment so we made a maintenance request. Made that request in January 13 and staff came in and tore down the walls, sink, mirror. We never got the bathroom fixed and were living in like this in the pic below until may after repeatedly reminding staff of our situation. Staff claimed they were unaware but they just forgot because we have names and dates. They’re just acting dumb. Beautiful location but get ready for theft if you own a high end car. And good luck with management.

Ive been living at Paseo Eilan Apartment Community for seven years , and in that time, Ive seen several managers come and go. Without a doubt, Krista Marion is the best manager weve had. The improvements and progress shes made since taking over have been truly remarkable. Unlike previous management, who didn’t seem to have the same level of dedication, Krista genuinely cares about the community and works tirelessly to make it a better place to live. She is awesome, and her efforts have not gone unnoticed. I’m grateful for all the positive changes she’s implemented. Thank you so much, Krista!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this property. I must say, I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it is. The attention to detail and the overall ambiance of the place truly impressed me.During my visit, I had the opportunity to speak with Aidan, who I found to be extremely down to earth and welcoming. Although the office was quite busy, I was willing to wait for Aidan to assist me. However, another employee kindly informed me that Aidan was the only leasing agent and would be with me as soon as possible. I appreciate the professionalism and communication.I must say, everyone I encountered during my visit was incredibly friendly and accommodating. This positive experience has left me eagerly anticipating moving into the property in December and calling it my new home.I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful service I received during my visit. Thank you for creating such a welcoming environment for potential tenants, Aidan.

Front desk staff are extremely lazy. Packages are always missing and the staff are so unprofessional that instead of them walking you to the lockers to see if a package has arrived, they give you a code which opens up all lockers and people can easily take other residents packages. This has never been the norm but since they have hired new employees things have gone downhill.

If you enjoy car break-ins, shootings (look it up), broken down buildings, fleas at the dog park, needles in the parking lot and a trash property management team, this is your place. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else - especially if you have pets or children. Not safe.

After living here for three years, I feel that I can write a pretty reliable review of what it’s like to live on the property. When we first moved in everything was great. Over the last three years, things have progressively gotten worse and worse. Management changed hands multiple times, getting worse with each new company.Do not be fooled by the photos online! They are outdated and deceptive. The “dog park” is filthy. It is supposed to have a fountain with water for the dogs to play in. It has had stagnant water in it for over a year, which has turned into a puddle of green slime. The “park” itself is nothing but a fenced in area of rocks, covered in dog feces. It is not maintained, and the odor makes it very hard to stay for more than a few minutes. The next issue is the pools. Again, the photos online are outdated. It is advertised as a resort style pool with cabanas, however the cabanas were removed about two years ago. The pools are often closed for weeks at a time with no explanation. My biggest issue with this property is the security. The key fob system to enter each building is an absolute disaster. For example, the fob system for my building was broken for over a month. The door was locked and could not be opened, forcing residents to walk all the way around the building to the other door. SO many maintenance requests were put in, with management always saying they were working on the problem. The other more concerning issue is when the doors do not lock at all. Nearly all the buildings have this issue. This allows for anyone to walk into the buildings at any time. The mailroom in our building was broken into, and every piece of mail was stolen from everyone’s mailboxes (including my passport and my boyfriend’s credit card). The office has zero cameras set up and provided nothing more than “I’m sorry that happened” when made aware of the incident. On top of this, cars are broken into almost weekly. Again, no security cameras and no consequences.I am SO disappointed with the managements disregard for the needs of the residents. Please take your time to read the reviews before moving here.

January 2024 Update: ROACHES, UNPROFESSIONAL NEW MANAGEMENT, Broken swimming pools, broken security gates (Not new news!), flooded parking garage and contractors leave their supplies (scaffolding, paint, boxes of joint compound, tools, etc.)in the foyer of the building every day, including weekends.Last week, I noticed ROACHES in the building. I entered a maintenance request through the resident portal for pest control services, which all residents pay for in their monthly rent. In the request, I specifically noted that employees do not have permission to enter my dwelling without permission and to call my phone number before entering. On the portal, there is a specific box to check off if it is ok/not ok for employees to enter residents homes. Again, I checked NO. Yesterday, a man came to my door and entered my apartment when I wasnt home. There was zero (which is required) 24-hour notice that the complex had given me, before a stranger entered my apartment. The man had no uniform on, was wearing a military gore tex jacket, and only stayed inside for 1 minute 33 seconds. After watching my camera footage, he seemed to be casing my apartment which made me very uneasy.I called the front office and asked to speak to the property manager. The front desk representative, Kelsey, gave me the property managers email and said that he wasnt taking phone calls, and to email him so that everything is documented. I waited patiently on hold until I spoke to, yet again, a new property manager named Tim. Tim was extremely confrontational and aggressive in his tone. I pleasantly asked him to not interrupt me, and let me finish speaking my concerns before he responded. He muttered condescending comments and was highly unprofessional before I could finish my story and ask about the man who entered my apartment earlier in the day (to determine if this warranted a police report). Tim tried to refer to the leasing agreement, that it is contractual that my apartment can be entered at ANY TIME for ANY REASON. I asked what paragraph specifically stated this in the lease agreement, and he couldnt produce an answer to back his previous statement. At that time, I also asked for a copy of the documentation of the required 24 hour notice to enter. Surprise surprise...He couldnt produce that either. This complex continues to go downhill as the rent goes up.0/10 DO NOT RECOMMENDThis place has gone down the drain. The building’s entry doors are broken 5 days a week and the management refuses to fix the damaged hardware. The pools get filled with tap water by the maintenance team and are not serviced correctly by professionals. Little to zero chemicals are added, so it’s like a fresh pee bath. Non-residents are encouraged to use the pools because you can just drive up, park, and open the unsecured gates at their leisure. The buildings have suffered massive water damage, while Sheetrock and flooding have been removed during noisy demolition, but nobody has come to fix the problem. Several residents have had in home mold tests, which all came back positive for mold growth in dwellings. The management team is infamous for not sending proper 24 hour notices when they need to enter apartments. The icing on the cake is that last year, my lease renewal was an extra $25. This year, with the new management, my rent is increasing $350, with zero incentive. Management must be trying to get all current residents to move out, so that they can file bankruptcy because of all the mold and water damage. This is the only way they can get the money to repair all the damage. There used to be a train that ran from here to fiesta texas, but the team says that it had to stop running because it caused too much structural damage to the parking. I’m not sure what to believe, other than this place wants residents to pay competitive pricing for zero private and inclusive amenities.

I know there are a lot of reviews about this place being rundown and I agree that there are a lot of issues that need to be resolved. It seems what has happened is, neglect from the former management company; they did not take care of the property. However, now there is a new management company in place, so change is coming. I’d give them some time, it’s quite a process. I see promise in this place and I’m going to believe things will get better.. In the meantime, I have to praise the maintenance team. They have been fantastic! Brandon as the maintenance manager, Tim as supervisor and Gabriel as well, have all been great in validating and taking care of every single need that I’ve had. They have been so gracious when doing their work and respectful. I appreciate these guys. Thank you.

So the building I am in had a pipe burst (winter storm) and at first I was very considerate about noise and trash caused by the construction crews in the apartment right next to me. Now months later I have construction noises waking me up at 9am on the weekends, a front desk that only tell me they will email someone when I complain about anything. Now as heard in the video the construction crew left some construction fans on and the noise is so loud in my apartment that I can’t sleep. I’m not alone in this if you move here you’ll probably start complaining to the other residents about how bad maintenance is because everyone you’ll meet has something to say about it. They market this place as luxury and from the outside it is but once the smoke and mirrors fade it’s anything but.Update- We are about to move out and just leaving an update. New management has taken over and they are full of lies just like the old one. Promises to fix our buildings main door, elevator, garage entrance. All still pending (for months), but don’t worry at least now they let us know how much effort they are putting in…what a joke.

First, the staff in the Leasing Office were great, especially Amy Acker and Kaylin. Tim with the maintenance team was exceptional. Now, the living experience was less than we expected. Over our 9 months, the condition of the building deteriorated, graffiti in the elevators, stairwell 8.3 was never cleaned--in fact I saw the cleaning crew push the hallway debris into the stairwell instead of disposing of it. The unseen mold was sickening; within days of moving into our new house, our health definitely improved. The worst, though, is the lack of enforcement of the rules to clean up after your dog. There isnt a clean piece of grass where you can walk without stepping in waste. The beautiful AstroTurf pet areas have signs and waste stations yet people make no effort to clean up after their dogs. Took 2 months to get a new washer when it kept stopping during wash cycles. In-unit smoke alarms would go off and we couldnt reach them because we had 15 foot ceilings. Later discovered that the units were from 2015. Building alarms in the middle of the night were common. Our unit in Building 8, top floor overlooking the restaurants was a beautiful view but was so noisy from 1100 pm to 2:30 am, many nights we couldnt sleep and then the car races would begin. Everyone loves the ambiance of the buildings and resort but fail to realize people live there. Really need to think twice about living at Paseo Eilan.

The apartments themselves are pretty nice, spacious and fairly updated. However, we saw a decline in the type of neighbors we had over the year and a half we lived there. In the last few months, we had people on our floor who would constantly leave full trash bags in the hallway over the weekend. By Sat evening, the entire floor smelled horrible. I placed several complaints through the maintenance portal and nothing was done about it. Also, dogs would have accidents in the elevator during the weekend and their owners wouldn’t clean up after them. Somehow throwing down puppy pads over dog pee in an elevator seemed to be a common occurrence. We also complained several times about the valet guys speeding through the parking garage. They think that because they honk they have free reign to blast past residents just trying to get to their cars.Overall, not a bad place to live if you can deal with the gamble of what type of neighbors you’re going to get and the constant construction on I-10 and 1604.

Overall living here for two years was a decent experience. The main issue I’ve had was having vehicles broken into. My truck was broken into twice within two years of living here. I’d often see other vehicles with their windows smashed out throughout the parking garages. Gates are often left open and security is nonexistant. If you drive a truck or high end sports car, probably look elsewhere.I would have stayed a resident but myself and a lot of other residents saw MASSIVE rent price increase with our 2023 renewals, despite the property being in a poor state due to water leaks/pipes freezing back in winter of 2022. Interestingly enough current rent prices for new tenants have gone back down to reasonable levels, only because I assume there was a mass exodus of people not renewing at the absurd proposed rates.Overall this place was amazing when I first moved in, and will probably be amazing again once all the repairs to the property take place. But management really has to step up their game in regard to the parking garage situation. I’d often walk down there half expecting my truck to be broken into every weekend with the lack of security and the suspicious looking people circling the parking garage at early morning hours.

Heres why Im moving... The halls & common areas are filthy & in need of paint & repairs; baseboards and walls dont appear to ever be cleaned. Outside doors can often be found open, leading to many bugs throughout, even on higher floors. Sound proofing is also far from great. New surrounding construction have made the once quiet pool area overlooking trees into a completely bare & noisy mess in addition to how soiled the furniture is in the north pool. Pools in general are dirty & unsupervised despite having asked us to wear resident bracelets leading to an increase of non-residents using the facilities carelessly (drinking, pumping loud music, dogs inside the water...). Parking gates are often broken or left open, leading to several documented break-ins. The staff is difficult to reach & rarely return messages. The property is declining rapidly & very little appears to be done about it. Sadly only the building that the show units are in appear to get any TLC...for obvious reasons. Please do your own due diligence & ask to see other buildings & walk random floors...ideally when the tenants above are home so you can see whenever the loud thumping is something you can get used to or not.

Always the fire alarm sound, doesn’t matter the hours, tonight it was 4 am, 4:50 am and 5 am, they have more than a month trying to fix it and don’t do anything about it at leasing office. Firefighters always come to see what is happening, when something really happen any neighbor will trust. This is incredible.

We were looking for corner units and was quoted the wrong rate, however they honor it, and property management has treated us well and never had issues when asking for help. Unfortunately, the first week, elevator was out and then the gym was closed due to burst pipes. Our secondary bathroom fan was out. It took two tries for them to fix but both experiences, the staff was great! What we love: our corner unit, access to Eilan gym and indoor pool (monthly fee), and indoor garage parking w/o additional cost unless opting for reserved space. Additionally, glad they have tech, easy to automate payments. Note: rates here seem lower than the surrounding apartments but find the build here seems to be of better quality.

This is a frustrating place to live. The office is closed at erratic times and does not seem to follow posted hours as they are on property. Most recently, fire alarm maintenance was done. Great. Understand. We were warned. However since then the fire alarm rings for false alarms. Simple salmon searing in your kitchen. Just last night an entire building went iff with the alarm and most residents sat outside for nearly 40 minutes as it turned off.We have had to call the firemen 3 times now because we are unable to get a response from the on call. Last night when we called, the fire department said, we have already been called by at least 4 others and seems to be an internal problem (as they had already come oit and verified no emergency). There is ZERO communication about why this is happening or what is being done to evaluate and correct the over sensitivity of the sensors.Other reviewers state going downhill and I would tend to agree. At least in the past, the teams were responsive. This place is too expensive for this lack of service and still being out of the real social pictures. You are better off in the other side of I10 in the Rim. Way more lively in social scene...and way quieter on needless fire alarms.Eilan has seen better days. Sad.

Update May 2024: A police shooting due to a confrontation w a vehicle thief occurred!!!!DO NOT LIVE HERE. PLEASE READ TO THE END.I have lived here for two years. Had a vehicle stolen and only three months later witnessed a car burglary in process in the resident parking garage which resulted in the burglars chasing me and the other witness WITH THEIR CAR - the police did not even come after calling 911, likely because they respond to this address almost daily at times due to similar calls. According to the Spotcrime police map, there are burglaries multiple times per week to this address and car thefts multiple times a month. Additionally, the fire and door alarms were broken for almost a year, which resulted in the mind-splitting fire alarm to go off randomly weekly - including once in the middle of the night. Even the SAFD responders were frustrated and exasperated with the offices unwillingness to correct the broken alarms. We had to evacuate at 1am on a weeknight due to the fire alarm, which we had already been begging them to fix for weeks. It is a safety risk to have a broken and faulty alarm, because eventually people stopped evacuating due to being sick of it going off all the time.I also have had packages stolen and even my CHRISTMAS WREATH taken off my door by a thief. Constant issues with pest control, a leak which required me to call the office 8x and go to the office 2x to even have it acknowledged (hasnt been fixed nor have I been contacted about when or how they plan to fix it so it is likely molding as we speak). They do not answer the phones, the email address is not monitored or replied to, and visiting the office results in little more than a shrug from staff. Not to mention the fact that the property used to feature a nice wooded area which has now been bulldozed to build another apartment complex. I have been catcalled 4x while trying to go on walks just around the apartment, and no longer feel safe especially after witnessing the burglary in the resident garage. With the gym being closed for 5mo, the elevator in my building being broken for 5mo, the constant police presence, the thefts, the bugs, and the lack of responsiveness by the staff, I cannot recommend anyone choose to live here. The grounds, hallways, elevators, and common areas are filthy, the amenities are severely lacking, and there are many new apartment complexes in this area to choose from!!Edit 06/23: My mailbox was broken into last week, we watched a man trying to break into cars in broad daylight and then pee openly on the dog park on Saturday AM and the security courtesy line did not ring when we tried it, the office staff was out of the office when we tried to go to the office to report it, AND there was a reported shooting at this address on 06/21/23. I know 3 people with mold in their apartments. And the renewal offer? $300/mo more than I currently pay. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!Edit 07/23: Almost once a week, the valet trash service, which is an additional required fee on top of rent, refuses to take completely normal trash bags, writing that they are too heavy - the bags are completely normally weighted, its mind boggling.

Things went well until the change in management. We had an issue with the refrigerator/ice maker that went haywire with about 3.5 months left in our lease. Despite multiple attempts to get it fixed, parts ordered, etc…it was never repaired and within about a month of the lease ending, we just ended up giving up that it would ever get done…so we spent the last 3 months or so with no ice maker - there were several additional attempts to get this resolved, but it never got done.Great location, extremely convenient. Cool amenities that were mostly not available to us either due to the freezing weather that ruined the gym which was also unavailable for MOST of our lease term.

If youre looking to move into a turmoil of a property, move here!! This place has gone down the drain. The buildings entry door is broken 7/7 days a week, and managements solution is to lock the front door so that residents cannot get in or out of the building through the front doors. Management also sends teams out to inspect apartments once a month, randomly during the workday. They are infamous for not giving out proper 24 hour notices before entering. The last time, two maintenance guys walked in while I was stepping out of the shower...in the NUDE. The pools are not serviced nor cleaned properly by professionals and have been locked the majority of this summer. Little to no chemicals are added, so when the pool is open, its like swimming in a warm, fresh pee bath. Non-residents are encouraged to use the pools too. People just park their cars, and families get out and walk right through the pool gates like a public pool. The gates are unsecured to use for anyones leisure, so cmon down folks! The buildings have suffered massive water damage, while apartments have been gutted and most remain vacant. Construction has started to demolish most of the hallways in my building as well. Several residents have had in-home mold tests, which have all come back positive for mold growth in dwellings. The icing on the cake is that the complex is trying to raise our rent up +$350 to help pay for the $700,000 debt which is a mechanics lien that was placed on the property. This is the only way they can pay off their debt to sell the property in the future unless they kick us all out and file bankruptcy. Either way, the Paseo Residences at Eilan wants their residents to pay competitive prices for zero private and inclusive amenities.

And the other residents are respectful of each other. This property is quiet and safe. Hugos personality initially sold me the apartment! Along with that, I have a beautiful view of the hillside country, and the amenities here are awesome! When rent is due, Bonnie is kind and helpful, I happily pay a check every month just to stop by! But paying online is a great option they have too! The manager, Julie, is very professional and personable. Since living here, any size issue has been taken care of asap, the staff takes full initiative to make this place feel like home. Living at Arrive Eilan apartments is quite the experience. its more then just a complex, it is a community. I have yet to run into one member of the faculty, or the residences who did not have positive energy around them. There are often events held by the complex to bring the community together (prior of the pandemic). The entire staff is friendly, from the facilities and maintenance crews, to the front office staff who are always very helpful. Also they complete their work orders pretty fast when you have something wrong inside your home. Overall it has been a great experience living here and would highly recommend it to anyone.Update: The community for this residence has grown now that we are slowly getting past this pandemic, and everyone here is so friendly. Especially the staff: Gabby in particular has done a terrific job of assisting me anytime I need help from getting mail issues sorted out to helping me file work orders to fix things around the complex. My wife and I were vey excited to move into this property when we first signed our lease. We could not wait to enjoy the amenities and the location of the complex. That excitement and positive outlook has since changed upon us moving in.First and foremost, the condition we received the apartment in was far from the standard in which you would think a luxury apartment has set for itself. We had window blinds that were broken and would not move up or down. There were shelves in the kitchen that were hanging from improper installation. However, among all of these issues the biggest issue we had was our fridge ice maker not working. To the date we have submitted 5 maintenance requests to have our ice maker fixed, replaced or to have the fridge replaced entirely. The maintenance team finally reached the point where they were going to replace the fridge. Our replacement fridge was not only a different brand, but a different size (smaller), and has a huge scratch on the right door. Since getting our replacement fridge it has not been cooling and is now leaking form the ice maker when you open the freezer door. Also, the ice maker is now no longer working in this replacement fridge.I am beyond disappointed in how this situation has been handled. I have lost over $300 worth of refrigerated items due to a faulty refrigerator. Hopefully the new management company can correctly rectify this issue. I have been patient, but this is getting ridiculous!

Paid 1,800 this past year to see a deteriorating building everyday, a parking garage that is open to anyone who wants to come in, having a guests car broken into and no security in sight or cameras. Had a water leak that caused damage that was never repaired. A door to the building that slams shut and vibrates my whole apartment through out the night and day (made this known to leasing office). But they gladly took a $200 fee for a payment error, first time in multiple times staying here. Just go anywhere else, this isn’t the Eilan that used to be.

Very slow work on building 12 hallways. Hall is not kept clean; work is still ongoing that was started about 12 months ago. Street lighting along perimeter roads is not being maintained. I know this is the fault of the HOA, but the apartment owner pays the dues, so you have leverage to get things fixed. Just a matter of taking some interest in the complex. Too many pets. The complex does not have sufficient space for people to have pets. Some pets are not kept on a leash. The pet park should be three times the size. If you increase the size, pass that cost to the pet owners. Thank you.

Whilst true how Building 12 suffered damage the management team has done good to make repairs. However, this doesn’t take away from the pool being closed over a month now and how the fitness center was closed for 5 months. Nothing seems to work. Building 12 front door is loud and bangs shut when it works and building 10 doesn’t even close! I seen it wide open ant night. The entry and exit gates in the garage does not function always. Wear and tear is evident everywhere. Yes, the exterior is beautiful but apart from building 8 THE SHOWCASE model, you can see the 15 years of wear and tear in doors, hallways, ceiling lights that do not have the same color brightness and none of the led lights used in the model are used in any of the apartments, you’ll buy your own and don’t count if the bamboo floors like the model, most likely the unit has been damaged and it’s been replaced with laminate.

Comparing to The Residences at La Cantera, I probably should have stayed at The Eilan. The venue is incomparable to anywhere else, it’s beautiful. The apartment layouts were amazing, loved the gas stove. Miss the 12.5’ ceilings. Miss the wood floors and second bathroom for 1 bedroom. I saw some signs of wear and tear but compared to here at The Residences, it was only usual wear. The staff at The Eilan (at least when I was there last year), was super friendly and Katlyn always greeted me by name. Ok, here’s what I didn’t like: the kitchen floor by the kitchen sink wasn’t repaired while I was there from Snowmageadon. It was peeling somehow. I didn’t like how my Unit went up $300-$400. I do wish someone told me I was right next to a trash shoot, I had pest issues bc of that. I had a noisy neighbor that thought it was cool to start blasting loud music at 1 AM; I had to call the Courtesy Officer 3 times… but at least The Eilan has one that ACTUALLY responds to you, The Residences at La Cantera has none. All in all, The Eilan comes recommended by me, make sure you get referred bc they have that benefit and make sure you’re not next to a trash shoot.

There is a separate fitness center residents however which is a plus.Next, the offsite team is almost useless as they don’t really seem to ever know anything going on at the location. These damages were noted upon my move in checklist (hole in closet door) that was supposed to be fixed the following week. Long story short, I called the apartment 19 times and left messages to call me back. I spoke with staff 11 times. 3 of the times I was told they did find the checklist and would be fixing it soon. However I continued to receive email notifications. Finally it was sent to collections. The office literally is in chaos. Whatever system they use, obviously does not work. The staff was always nice and the apartment was beautiful and fun to live at. But it was shameful to see how poorly their office operations were ran. They obviously do not check the move in checklist before they start billing people for damages.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have lived at Arrive Elian for two years, and if has exponentially gone downhill ever since management was changed. Here are a few things you can expect once you sign a lease with Arrive Elian:- Lack of communication from management. Please expect emails to be returned with 10-14 business days. If you are going to call expect to call 3-4 times before someone answers.- Your packages will be returned to the sender. If you are thinking of buying anything from online, please be aware they will return your package. The leasing office will not sign for any packages ( for liability reasons which are completely reasonable) however, they will not notify you if you have any packages in the office. Therefore, they will send it back to the sender rather than making a quick phone call to let you know you have a package.- If you are needing anything fixed in your apartment such as lights, air conditioning, showers, etc. please expect 7-10 business days to have it fixed.- You get to know your neighbors REAL well because you can hear them through the paper thin walls and ceilings. Nope, your neighbor isnt throwing a dance party they are just walking to the kitchen.- Although, having elevators in your building seems like such a luxury please note that it is very rare if they are actually working. It takes management weeks to get them fixed. Take the stairs Its better for you.Lastly, if you are wanting to spend thousands of dollars on rent and live at a mediocre complex I recommend Arrive Eilan, a place where you wish you never signed a lease.

I loved going to the South pool when I first moved in, but then the new construction came in and bulldozed all the trees down and took away the unique “hill country” vibe that sold me on this complex. I moved to Arrive Eilan in 2018 shortly after Trinity Property Consultants took over as the management company and have steadily witnessed the decline the property has gone through since the acquisition. This once premier luxury complex in a great area of San Antonio is now barely trying to stay afloat due to continuous maintenances issues and outdated interiors.Attached are two videos on different occasions of what I go through on a daily basis as a tenant. On one video you can see the constant drilling that would start sometimes as early as 7am and continue into the evening. I was offered no compensation or alternatives and had to office elsewhere during the day since my work is remote. On other video, you can see the boxers that are below my unit daily creating a very intolerable work environment. Whoever thought it was a good idea to allow a boxing gym right below a residents apartment was not in their right mind. How can Arrive Eilan have such lack of care for their residents? I have requested politely numerous times for them to simply move down so I can work from home like many of us have to do right now due to the pandemic to no avail. My lease ends in July and believe me when I say I am counting down the days. They would play music until 3 AM in the morning, and appears that their living area is directly against my bed (sucks every time.) didnt have any resident above me until like the last three months, and its bad.. the loud walking , banging against the wall and all.A few times I reported the landscaping company they use on how they blow tons of dirt to my balcony and till date, not once did I received an acknowledgement of that reports.I enjoyed doing the 1 mile loop around the whole building a few times in the early morning and feel very safe doing so.*************** Review when I moved in *******************First experience review.Im moving in this month and I have had nothing but bad experience from the staffs:The Let me get more info ... and give you a call back and never doesI will have him/her give you a call right back. and never does.Your unit will be avail for view on xyz..... xyz, oh this ohh that excuses, unacceptable excuses. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left all I can say is wow! The service was just incredible! Thank you Tara as well as your team! I visited San Antonio that day to check out 3 different apartments and none of the other places, also considered luxurious, came close to providing the quality of service that was provided by eilan. Every floor plan that I inquired about was explained to me in detail and even the model home I saw was a great reference to what the apartment home I was choosing was going to look like. Thanks again Tara!

Ive lived here for the past 15 months, which included the new management team coming in. They have done a lot to improve the grounds recently, including redoing all of the parking lots, adding new amenities (grills, outdoor TVs, lounges, and gates). I am a fan of the new improvements, goes to show that they genuinely care about the property and they are listening to the residents. Our neighbors are generally really nice, the community is peaceful and being in walking distance of the RIM + the Shops at La Cantera/Six Flags are a big perk. Management is nice and relatively responsive provided how many residents there are.

I just moved out of Arrive Eilan this month. I lived alone in a single bedroom apartment and was physically there maybe a total of 6 out of the 15 months I leased. Im being charged $150 to replace a door that I supposedly damaged. Im sure maintenance damaged it and Im being charged for it.Dont be fooled by appearance, this is no different than any other complex that likes to keep your deposit and still want more. This is how money is made, squeezing every cent from you. I also paid an extra 1 1/2 months because I was supposed to gave given a sixty day move out notice, not a 45 day notice. People just dont care to work with you, its ALL about the money!!! Enjoy your money while you have it!!!

Honestly a very nice place to live. Overall great, but a few things to keep in mind.Pros: spacious floor plans, my studio was nice and open, lots of windows and light. always felt safe here, great amenities like the pool and gym, target is a 2min drive, great walking trails for you and your dog, plenty of parking. Maintenance team is awesome, especially Tim. Met some cool people here. the views are beautiful, security on the grounds, restaurants and bars in the complex too.Cons / things to know: I wish they wouldve told me some of the apartments are also used as Air BnBs. I lived right next to an air bnb unit so there was always new people there every weekend who were usually loud. they also stole my package one time :( my neighbors were nice, but it was frustrating to live next to an Air BNB unit.fire alarm would sometimes go off in the middle of the night which was frustrating. the person who gave me a tour told me theyve never had a noise complaint.. lol. The complex itself is pretty quiet, but if youre sensitive to noise, get yourself a top floor unit. I could hear every footstep from my upstairs neighbors.Dog park isnt safe for pups, because no one cleans up after their dog :(Last thing to know: the floor levels can be deceiving. Each building is different, but the first two floors are the parking garages. so the 4th floor in some cases, is actually the 1st floor. Just something to keep in mind if youre applying online. All of that said, this is one of the nicest complexes in SA. They are beautiful, spacious, and the walking trail is hard to beat. Very convenient location and feeling safe is a big plus. The RIM is closeby, but I would never live there- not safe.

DON’T LIVE HERE! Unfortunately, this apartment is not what I thought it was going to be. It looked great at first sight but then now that I have lived here for approximately 18 months, I have been able see what really lies underneath the surface. TERRIBLE management, outdated units, POOR maintenance, POOR satisfaction, and HUGE complex issues. Management is so unresponsive and extremely neglectful to your issues. MAJOR roof leaking and mold problems occurring in several buildings/units which has been ongoing for years, parking is a huge problem and they tow your car without even a warning like past management used to do, parking garage looses power and has major pipe leaking issues that leave corrosive residue on your car paint!, they even stopped cleaning common areas as often because they think that saves money for them which is more important than satisfaction. This apartment is FULL of hassle! They also nickel and dime you on everything! DON’T LIVE HERE if you want to come home and rest and not worry about if your furniture will be covered in moldy wet leaks from rain, or wake up to find your car towed, or even have a management team that refuse to help rectify issues for you which is their job. The premium rent is not worth it. I would live in newer complexes without structural issues with a management team that strives for tenant satisfaction and save some money.

I have wanted to for some time to be able to reevaluate my reviews with the Eilan. I think that the best thing that happened was that we now have a manager of the property who really cares. And I have to say her position is not an easy one because so many people have so much going on with the Covid - 19 situation. I believe she does an amazing job balancing between taking care of resident needs and the needs of potential new renters. Living at the Eilan is like living at a resort in Italy. There are many fine restaurants on the property and a very nice spa in the actual hotel. I have found that the residents are for the most part very happy. Often times people will just gather at Ruths Chris or Piatis and talk and share some delicious cocktails. I have just renewed my lease and I am thrilled I have. It is luxury living in San Antonio in a safe and beautiful area.

Tim from the crew is the best! he is so kind, professional, and a diligent worker. he has helped so many people in the apartments with severe emergencies. I really hope he and his team get a raise or a bonus, because without them, some residents would have left Eilan. A lot of people were unhappy this week; some because of uncontrollable circumstances, some because there could have been better preparation... Regardless, this crew must be thanked beyond words of affirmation, but through tangible sources of income to be compensated fairly for their efforts in a time most people would have quit. they deserve it

I was helping my buddy and his wife move into the complex on Sunday. Where my truck his truck and two other were broken in to and vandalized. The complex and the San Antonio police have stated this a common issue for this complex and has been going on regularly over the past three months. The management refuses to put surveillance cameras around the entrance’s and says they have courtesy officers on site as well as paid security from 7pm-6am. For claiming to be a luxury apartment it is far from it. They do not care about there residents and there belongings, to me when you have had a burglary reported everyday for the last three months and management does nothing typically means someone is getting there piece of the pie. You don’t have to take my word for it, but do your research with the San Antonio police department and look at the reports for the complex it’s very unsettling. If you have the time sit in the parking lot and ask any truck owner in the lot I guarantee there truck has been broken into at minimum one time in the last 3 months.

However, trinity property consultants bought Eilan at mid-year of 2018, and everything starts going south. (They might try their best to keep up, at least some of the stuffs are trying)First, half management team will not reply to your emails, after you sign the contract.Second, They always open one gate at resident garage, so you will not able to find parking if you come home late than 21:00. When you ask managers how can this happen, they will ask you to park your car at a commercial parking lot which locate at the other side of the apt.Third, one of the building door will be unlock( 3 months front door one, 3 months front door two, and 2 months side door.), so be careful with your property.fourth, they lock one of the elevator for themselves 65% of the time usually at weekend. ( each building has only two elevators)

My wife loves this place, the office staff is always pleasant and professional. That being said, I am not pleased with the length of time it takes to fix property issues. There has been an issue since we arrived a year ago with secure doors not working, entrances to the underground parking being open 24hrs a day for months at a time. Multiple cars have been stolen and even more damaged in the underground parking lot. My car was keyed in the garage the other night. Six months ago I asked the management to fix the cameras in the garage, I hold management responsible for not being able to see who did this since the cameras are still not functioning. So it is unfortunate but now I will be down in the office on a regular basis being very vocal about every issue I see wrong, if things dont get fixed to my satisfaction in a timely matter, I will do everything in my power to ensure their upper management is made aware of their property managements glaring incompetence, again on a regular basis. So for the management reading this message, dont bother responding about how sorry you are for this bad experience. Lip service is not going to fix these issues. Time to get your act together, I know for a fact the VPs and property owner are NOT going to like hearing what I have to say.

This place is awesome! Ive always wanted to live on Sesame Street....NOT! Its sad to see the new management company (Trinity) destroy what was such a beautiful and great place to live. Recently repainted most of the buildings and lets just say Big Bird wouldnt even live here. Dog poop everywhere. Parking is a joke. Cars broken into every weekend. Im not even sure theres a maintenance team working here judging by the condition of this place. Several residents have reported bug problems and most recently rattle snake problems. Dont get your hopes up if you request for Pest Control to come out...management wont pay for that. What doesnt make sense to me is that management is totally fine taking all your money but yet they have no money to install security cameras in the parking garage or to hire someone to clean up the place?? Management overcharged my rent 2 months ago by $200 and after many rounds of arguing they agreed to correct it. Still waiting for that to happen...in the meantime they decided to charge me twice for utilities this month. This place was almost completely full when Greystar was managing and now it seems like everybody is trying to leave. Save yourself the trouble and go check out the surrounding apartment complexes. Update:. Stuff is falling apart basic security in and out through the doors are not even secure. A lot of theft goes on in the garages no cameras no security patrolling around inside everyday as theyre used to be. Plus if you tell him your car got broken into or stolen they just say youre there sorry but theres no fixing the issue. Other than trying to say theyre going to get more camera security when really they just need bodies between the hours of two and 7:00 a.m. to prevent thefts. But that cost extra money and thats not going to happen as the current security guard said they cut the hours and they cut the pay. So much for a solution that would prevent this. I could tell you some stories of cars getting stolen in the most intricate way as I have lived there for 5 plus years. They trash the entertainment room, leaving pizza boxes all over the floor and pizza slices on top of the couches. They bring 10+ people to the pool and trash the place.(When only 2 guests per resident are allowed). Youd think you lived in a college dorm. Management of course does NOTHING about our complaints. Maintenance is terrible. Took them over a week to replace the gas on the grill. Above all the management is the worst. They give certain residents special privileges such as letting them park over 20 vehicles in the parking garage, which leaves no spaces for the rest of us who live here. It has been 6 months since my first complaint concerning this issue and they say thanks for caring, ill copy my supervisor and then a month later everything is exactly the same. They make the rest of the residents pay $100 if out entry card is lost, but this particular resident can just walk into the office and request an extra one and they will hand one over at no charge. This place was amazing when I first moved in here. The community is great. There are restaurants you can just walk too, and a bar as well. the amenities are great and overall well taken care off. However, a few things that have made me not want to release here is one, they took away the resort pool from residents. It was a big selling point when we came for a tour, yes we have other pools to go too however, it is obviously not the same. Other thing is parking. Every 3 months or so they redo parking areas, one time my car got towed along with other cars because they didnt send us a notice to not park in that area. They claimed to have posted a notice on doors of the buildings but there was not one in my building which is why mine and several others had to drive downtown, and spend money to get it back. After 2 days they did reimburse me, but it was very inconvenient. Another thing, the walls are pretty thin, you can hear almost everything. When we first moved in, the door hinges were loose and our door to the bedroom AND closet fell. Luckly I cant complain about the maintenance, they were great and quick to attend to our needs. The most annoying thing is they changed how to enter the building by using an intercom instead of having a code. I have locked myself out of the building more than I can count because theres time I take my dog out and dont bring my keys with me, also if youre expecting a package you have no code to give them and your package gets sent back because they couldnt get inside. They refuse to give residents the code due to better security but really its also just very inconvenient. Overall, youre basically paying for the amenities because the apartment itself is honestly just like any other luxury apartment and sadly, the best amenity was taken away from residents. Phone signal here is very poor. I am always taking important calls and constantly getting disconnected. You will definitely NEED wifi to use your phone at all. Save your money, it truly not worth it.

The apartments themselves have high quality appliances, granite countertops, and are beautiful. The amenities are amazing, well, the ones shared with the hotel. The resident-only pools are nice, but are easily trashed by weekend parties, which the courtesy officers dont do much to curtail. The grills only have gas half the time and are always dirty. There are never any doggy bags in the pick up after your pet stations. If you have any maintenance requests, it takes at least a week for Eilan to fix it, even with almost daily calls/drop ins at the leasing office with reminders, though the silver-tongued leasing office agents are full of excuses why there are continued delays. Maintenance is the biggest downfall of Eilan. For the price, and for the quality Eilan is touting, maintenance requests should be responded to within 24 hours, as is the norm in many other luxury apartments I have lived in over the years. Eilans poor maintenance is unacceptable, and for this reason, I only give this otherwise beautiful property only three stars.

Theyve changed managements numerous times and the most current one (Arrive Eilan) has been by far the worst. Ive had so many issues with this management its unfortunate that they cannot take into consideration their tenants who have lived here for 5+ years as well as given them business. If it were possible to give this place 1/2 a star, thats really what it deserves. Ive lived here for almost 2 years. The first year, I had very few problems, but as soon as Greystar took over, this place went downhill faster than an Olympic skier.Weve had mold untreated in our apartment since the day we moved into a larger two bedroom. I even shared details of a report that I paid for an inspector to perform since the management company filed this under issue resolved. Its been two weeks since I informed the Community Manager and weve yet to have any follow-up.As for the other issues...they are plentiful.Theres rarely garage spaces available as the management company doesnt enforce their towing policy despite the fact that there are routinely 15-20 cars without stickers in the garage...and at least 5-6 that havent been moved in almost 2 years. What else? Im glad you asked. The appliances dont work and the maintenance team must be the most inexperienced folks in all of San Antonio. Weve submitted work requests 4 times to have our ice machine in the refrigerator fixed and have subsequently received issue resolved notifications when the issue persists.I could do better by Googling how tos than submitting work requests. In fact, I fixed the dishwasher when their team attempted to do so two different times for the same issue...I simply used a cleaning agent to flush the system since our dishes werent getting cleaned. Meanwhile, their experts came by twice and monkeyed around with the unit. Once even dislodging it and creating a water leakage issue that they had to come back to address.Theres also a hidden/unexpected monthly cost that they chalk up to monthly community fees which hovers in the $125/month range as an extra that is part of your rent separate from your actual unit rent. The hotels resort pool is nice, but the two resident pools are filthy. And are generally over run with people who arent residents. And if you have a pet...yes its cool that they allow dogs. I have two. It was one of the reasons that I selected this community. The problem is...the dog park is literally a dog-poop minefield. So taking your dogs there is out of the question. And thats in the dog park. Try walking your dog in the few grassy areas on the property. Just make sure its not barefoot if you catch my meaning.Lastly, make sure you walk the apartment WITH someone from the Community before you take occupancy. We didnt and walked into an apartment with a punch list of 35 items we needed them to address AFTER we already had our movers scheduled for delivery.

Arrive Eilan has great potential but Trinity management has run this place into the ground. The minute you sign your lease they no longer care about your well being. Management is unresponsive at best. I dealt with major water leaks in my ceiling for 4 months. During this process I was deceived multiple times and ignored in person and over call/text multiple times. There was no attempt on the trinity staff to make these damages right. I was never once offered a unit switch or any reduced rent. I literally could NOT use my living room for 4 months. Their negligence was so bad they didn’t even supply me with materials to protect the apartment. I bought drop cloth myself.... The worst part was the lack of concern and communication displayed by the staff. Specifically Bonnie Johnson and Deanna Thompson, these “managers” will avoid you until you take legal action. They preyed on my inexperience as a tenant and hedge their bet I wouldn’t take legal action. If you do decide to live in this disaster I would recommend getting a 30 day notice notarized the second you have a large issue. Living here was one of the worst experiences I have ever had and I would never recommend it to anyone else.

I have been at this community for almost a year now and from its previous administration to this new one with Trinity I can assure it got worst. I would like to provide some feedback to people interested in this community because I wouldnt like for anyone to have these bad experiences. First, about three weeks ago someone broke into my vehicle and when approaching management to see the security surveillance cameras I was informed that none of them worked. With no empathy management staff was careless about handling the situation and only said do a police report. I was very upset they way they handle the situation. Then last week, I was surprised to notice that several cars had been broken into over night. The result was more than 20 vehicles, but if that wasnt enough last week someone broke into my unit and stole my personal documents and other valuables. HERE AT ARRIVE EILAN, Management is not doing anything to deter crime and on the opposite is giving green light to criminals to continue with their atrocities. I put my 60 days notice because I dont want to be posting a review from a hospital bed saying I got assault either on the parking lot, my unit or common areas. ARRIVE EILAN PLEASE ACT AND SEE/GET SOME POSITIVE FEEDBACK FROM THIS POST AND TO SECURE EVERYONE AND PREVENT CRIME SINCE THERES LITTLE TO NOTHING YOU CAN DO. PLEASE START BY SENDING EMAILS WITH PHOTOS OF THE MAINTENANCE CREW AND ANY OTHER ARRIVE EILAN MEMBERS. I dont even feel secure to answer my door when they claim to be maintenance.Furthermore, maintenance in the buildings, common and recreational areas are not maintained well. Recently, my washer broke and it took them more than a week to fix it. I had to look for a laundry place to do my clothes because they didnt care at all. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES AT THIS PLACE. Now, Im waiting for my management to blame on me stains or carpet conditions at walkthrough before I leave this place. These are a few experiences to mention and this is why I dont recommend to anyone moving here. The only good thing here are my neighbors, but theyre sick and tired as well to continuously dealing with issues and the poor management system in place.

At one point, I woke up to my whole entire unit flooded at 1am. Maintenance, despite being “24/7” didnt show up until nearly 5am(after I Mopped up all the water). They then tried saying there wasnt ever a leak! They tried saying the circle on the ceiling was a bad “paint job” and it wasnt water related. Im in the real estate industry- i know what a shoddy repair job is because I sue contractors over it.They informed me that they needed ME to move all of my belongings out for a day and then pay for movers a second time to move it back in on a different day. All Within a 48 hour period! They didnt offer me temporary lodging while these repairs were happening. They were not going to pay for the movers or assist me in any way with the movers. After I told them that the current unit was too problematic due to the LEAKING AND FLOODING ISSUES, they then told me that they werent sure whether they could accommodate me in a different unit. And they failed to even check.Management will hardly ever respond to your emails. They will disclaim any responsibility and not help you.I had several neighbors who had leaking issues and an infestation with cockroaches and similar bugs. I also had several neighbors who had mold in their apartments which can cause respiratory issues. While my apartment was getting inspected for repairs, the same repairman told me that leaking issues happened all the time. He also told me that one building had three FLOORS of units leak.Definitely do not fall for the exterior appeal. Great looking property but an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE to love in. I also suggest reading the below negative reviews. They wont take you seriously until you threaten with legal action or actually initiate legal action. My unit was not ready upon move in. I had: dinner plate- sized holes in my wall, no hot water, cabinets were broken, the bathroom wasnt clean, the dishwasher was broken, the refrigerator didnt have a filter, and the AC filter hadnt been changed. There was also several electrical issues in my unit.

Hi im Jessica owner of RD Realty Group. I just wanted to write about my experience at the Eilan. For starters Eilan is one of the most beautiful properties that SA has to offer but what sets it apart for me and my clients is the service that Hugo provides. I cant trust him with all of our clients and I always hear back how amazing he is and how knowledgable of the property he is. Hugo is one of the best leasing agents I have met and is a true asset to your company. Thanks for all you do Hugo and we cant wait to continue doing business with you.

I never leave reviews and Im hardly ever online but I am very passionate about these occurrences that have happened and thus I am compelled to do so. For several years I have been under the impression that a move to Eilan is like moving to the Promise Land-I have been wrong! For five days I have still not been told a 100% sure answer on how much my total will be for this month. Ive been told around $800 to $1057 and then to $1200 to $1400. It wasnt till today till a highly motivated and kind Erika Dyer gave me more concrete answers. And even at that its still not a 100% straight answer. If I was just writing this based on Ericas performance this review would be for sure five stars. But unfortunately, this is of my complete experience thus far. Every place I have ever lived has told me concrete answers with rent totals regardless of any circumstances and renewed contracts. The impression Im getting from these past five days is its whatever figure pops up on your page is what you pay. Thats the message I get from a staff that I did not think was eager to help me. Not everyone is on the same page in the office. I have been told different information from different people. To you cant have money orders to you can have money orders. To you cant bring a guest to the resort pool anymore to you can bring a guest to the resort pool. Get organized and make up your mind Eilan! I get a dreadful feeling walking in to speak with the staff because I get the impression that they really dont want to be there to assist me because they dont want to deal with my questions. They look annoyed. If this is a luxury apartment, dont look annoyed because I have questions. Ive lived at many places and I can read people very well by their body language and how forthcoming they are to your needs. This is the impression that I get and geez I wonder why? Thats not all, because I wanted to invite company with me to the resort pool I was told that I had to purchase a cabana as you can not have more than one guest at the resort pool. The lady who took my reservation claimed in a derogatory unnecessary tone, If you and your party break the rules I will ask you to leave! And If you bring more people then in your party I will enforce you to get another cabana. For no reason did I need to be told this. Did she really think I would be that dumb? She explained that people had not been following the rules. My question is, how does that involve my party and I? Very rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional. Apparently an incident happened at the resort pool last week. There was an email that was sent to tenants that claimed if one more occurrence happens then no tenants will be allowed in the resort pool. This is wrong and very misleading to future tenants and to current ones as well if there is no more access to the resort pool for tenants. Why should the people who were not involved in some occurance have to suffer? Ridiculous! Unfortuantely, Im rethinking my decision with regrets. Your treated one way before you sign, and once you sign, they are done with you. By the way, a bunch of vehicles were broken into my first night here, I was spooked.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Horrible office staff. I moved out in January of 2018 and was sold my apartment by Sharaz at the time. Walking through my apartment I seen some damages and stains but was told it would be handled and fixed prior to move in the previous resident had a dog whom scratched the cabinets and stained the carpet. They took an extra week to get my apartment ready from the day I was told. When I moved in the damages were still there. This is my first apartment I was not aware I should take pictures for proof I put my trust in the staff. Long story short they never documented it and on my move out January of 2018 my final charges had the damages billed to me. I have called numerous of times spoke with “Tara” and she claimed that she never received a message nor was given a message of my call. I have records from my phone company how many times I have called since February of 2018. She asks my email and number and months later never gets back to me and every time we speak it’s as if she has never heard of this before when it was her that I spoke to. Now it’s in my credit! I tried being proactive called over 15 times since I moved out but no one seems to know how to fix this issue. Every time I call there is someone new working they cannot keep anyone employed and the one that stayed employed has no clue what she is doing. “Tara”.

Lived here for a year. Loved it. Had a nice view and facilities are exceptional. However, the parking situation is a nightmare unless you pay extra for a reserved spot in the garage. My car was also damaged in the garage from overcrowding and some ceiling waste disposal pipe leaks. Some pipes drip a corrosive liquid that will stain the paint on your car so watch where you park if you can even find a spot. My car was also towed by a run down company downtown because I supposedly parked too long in a fire lane but its ok for management to let others park in fire lanes when there is a wedding or event and can even do so overnight.

Management is a joke. They make changes or “updates” without notifying residents. Their updates hardly work until weeks later causing a hassle to get into the parking garage or buildings. I live here and cannot even enter the building because the key fob has been updated twice yet still doesn’t work and the new code doesn’t work. They’ve changed their office hours so now I can’t even get a hold of someone when I need them (even though online it still reflects the old business hours). The community itself is amazing to live in but the management needs to step their game up if they’re going to run a luxury community.

Leaving after two years of overpriced lodging. Dont confuse the resort with the apartments. Walls are paper thin! You hear every footstep of the neighbor above and the toilet flushing of the neighbor next door. The management is hyper aggressive at towing vehicles. Cost me $230 to retrieve my car after being towed for parking in a non-designated area. The pools are nice but frequently resemble a UTSA frat party during the weekends with no enforcement of a two guest policy. Save your checkbook and peace of mind...investigate any of the newer apartments in the area before considering the Eilan.

PACKAGES BEING LOST IS ONLY ONE OF THE MANY MANY MANY ISSUES I HAVE FACED AS A NEW RESIDENT. ONE OF THE OTHER RESIDENTS HAS PREVWRITTEN A SIMILAR REVIEW. THERE HAS BEEN ZERO COMMUNICATION SINCE I SIGNED THE LEASE. HOPE IT MAKES SENSE AND HOPE THE MANAGEMENT WILL AT LEAST TRY TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF THEIR RESIDENTS INSTEAD OF SHIFTING BLAME!I am a current resident and am absolutely disappointed in my choice. I moved here in June and have been trying to contact the office since for things that were in complete disarray when the apartment keys were handed to me. Either the phone is never answered or it is answered by a call center. I have left numerous messages (at least 8) on urgent basis. Never received call back ever. Emails, resident portal high priority requests have all gone down the drain. The leasing office is out of bounds due to COVID. So if you have an emergency, GOD help you since you are never going to receive a call back or even so much of an acknowledgement. Many of my packages have gone missing with no trace. Julie (GM) is possibly one the best things to happen to the Eilan! While busy, she finds time to walk the property and interfaces with the tenants. She choose to personally resolve some grievances from the previous administration. It’s important to see how leadership responds to adversity to gain an understanding of how the rest of their staff will Model their resolve. It’s also refreshing to see a leader pushing herself to set an example to her team. The Eilan is already an enchanting place and with Julie continuing to lead her team by example this place will only get better over time.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! THEY WILL TELL YOU LIES AND STEAL YOUR MONEY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The complex was recently sold, overnight now I am paying over twice what had been agreed with the leasing office when I moved in because they now have a problem with units meters which they dont care on fixing ever since they are stealing money and even if they do get the correct readings they will never provide the credit for your actual consumption. For the past several months they are estimating consumption at outrageous rates, when you approach the office or call AUM they cant provide answers, they do not care and the few answers they provide are LIES, each time theres a different story, their priority is to steal your money! I asked if they could get the correct readings and without any sense of urgency they answered that they would send an e-mail. What about giving me a future credit for the overcharges of the previous months? AUM representative said NO. They plan on keeping my money even though I did not consume what they are saying... basically thieves. This person also told me that water heater in my apartment was gas operated, thats why my gas bill had also risen 1000% from previous months, this is another lie, my water heater is electric and it doesnt make sense that it would increase since its the same device that I had when I was being charged a lesser amount. Last month I complained about this, leasing office told me that I would get a credit the following month, when the bill came it was even higher! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!! There are also several new charges that did not exist at all before complex was sold. I CANT WAIT TO MOVE OUT! Trying to get legal representation to stop being a victim of this abuse. IM LIVING IN HELL. Staff is not helpful at all, they couldnt care less specially a man named Quentin...
