I met Desiree (manager) several months ago and she made such an impression on me that when I finally was ready to move into an apartment, Carmel Canyon was my only choice! She is so amazing at her job and is such a fabulous person. Desiree went over and above to accommodate all of my needs. I highly recommend living here and knowing Desiree!

So I had been searching for an apartment for a while, and I was lucky enough to come across this one from the first moment I spoke to them. They have been helpful and friendly. I very much thankful for them being so informative. I would very much recommend this place they help explain everything from beginning to end and are very welcoming Desiree and Marina great people so if you’re looking for a place to start or start over caramel Canyon is a great place to go.

My recent move here from Houston was anything but smooth but Desiree and Marina both have been AMAZING and most helpful. I moved into these apartments on faith and sight unseen. My cousin came and FT me and I leased based on what he toured. I came late on a Saturday and Desiree text me assuring me to take my time and she would be here to hand me my keys. We finally arrived 4 hours later than I said, and she noticed my daughter and I only had us and what was packed in the car. She was like do you have a U-Haul coming. I did not we packed all we could and headed down the road. Moving is expensive (LOL) I told her we brought what we needed, and we will go back for our things in the upcoming weeks. We had air mattress and at that point all we wanted to do is shower and pass out. She was like no, I will put you guys in the corporate unit for a few days so at least we had beds and internet until Tuesday (since it was the Labor Day Holiday). She was genuinely kind and still is. The people we have come across have been just as friendly. I have lived in a few complexes in my days. Everyone is usually very friendly until you sign your lease but not them, they truly are great at their jobs and with their people skills. I am really hoping management does not change and staff stays the same as long as I am here. I am absolutely thankful for Desiree. I hope our stay here is a long one.

Had a great move in experience. The property is clean and I like that there are security cameras around the property. My family and I feel secure. The pool area is nice and clean and we like that we have access to a walking trail.The manager (Desiree) is very helpful 👍🏽 Ive had 2 maintenance request that were handled very quickly. Great job overall!!

Carmel Canyon is a great apartment community. The staff does such a good job maintaining high living standards. We have rented multiple apartments over time and each time we are beyond impressed. Project Manager, Desiree Mitchell, is phenomenal! She is always responsive and a pleasure to talk and work with. We are really happy we found this location for housing. Thank you Carmel Canyon team. TLDR - Helpful and friendly staff, quiet apartment, quick work orders, not intrusive I havent had run ins when I got home, updates through text, easy payments and accommodating to your needs.I moved in late February 2023 and this was my first apartment experience. Desiree and her team have been very helpful with everything I have asked about. I first inquired about getting a bottom floor apartment due to some physical limitations and she was more than helpful with keeping me updated when it became available. I had first asked for a garage but after a couple weeks decided it was not needed and she swiftly help me take it off my payments.The one shocking but good thing is its pretty quiet for an apartment from my experience so far. I figured there would be loud dogs and noisy neighbors but honestly not bad, I heard a dog once haha.I had misplaced my mailbox key and she helped me straight away with getting another one. I put a maintenance order in because some birds decided to build in my vent but they came that day and cleaned it out right away.Ive even seen her helping a guest and forgot the code for the gate and she helped me out while smiling and genuinely wanting to help out. I havent checked out the pool or gym to much so I cant comment on those. The only thing to look out for is one of the gates by the Culebra road people swing in there quick but thats not the apartments fault of course just a friendly tip.Oh another thing Ive never felt any intrusion I saw a comment about this. I work 5am to 4pm and when I get home Ive never seen them in my apartment so it looks like they do all that during the day which works out perfectly for me.I changed my review because parking is not abundant anymore, maybe a lot have moved in but when I get off work I have to park on the other side of my apartment.

I’ve lived here for a year and am renewing for another year. I have never had such a positive experience with an apartment complex or its management. The ladies in the front office are always so helpful and kind. I’ve only needed to call maintenance once but the one experience I had with them was wonderful they got the job done quickly and were polite and kind.

Desiree and her staff are the absolute best! Easy move in and she was very accommodating. Best customer service from everyone! Staff is amazing and service requests are awesome! This place is quiet and everyone is nice! Apt and complex is clean and everyone is amazing! I highly recommend this place and visit Desiree and her staff you won’t be disappointed!

Im very blessed to live at Carmel canyon. Desiree is an amazing landlord and has a heart for her tenants and community. She is a great listener and she finds solutions to problems. She takes care of business, great leader and heart of gold. When I am in need of maintenance, I have these men knocking at my door ready to execute the problem without delay and they take care of business. I dont have to wait around for days. You dont have to go to the office and ask for an air filter because they have a schedule to get it taken care of. The pool is clean year round. Its a small community but much love and we are taken care of and accepted as an individual. This is home!

Desiree thank you for making my time at Carmel Canyons feel like home for the last 2 years and half. A big thanks to Enrique in the maintenance department that was always prompt to fix any issues in my apt and keeping a beautiful and clean pool all year. I will miss the quiet time and the friendly neighbors.

I took my clients to a few apartment complexes and this one, by far, had the best customer service. The manager, Desiree, was very welcoming, explained everything, showed all the amenities, and took them through a couple different apartment options to find one that fit more than just their needs. Not all apartment managers treat Realtors nicely; I was very impressed with Desirees positive customer service that went above and beyond for my clients!

Carmel Canyon management and maintenance have been AWESOME. Very professional and attentive to our needs and surroundings. We had had to have some minor repairs and I have to say management has given our repair request to maintenance and in less than 30 minutes maintenance is at our door. Maintenance knows what they are doing and the get it done quickly. Been here almost 2 years and plan to stay and now my daughter is moving in soon also which makes things so much easier with us helping her care for our granddaughter.

Been here for a month now. Staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is quick to work through issues. Staff seems involved in the community.The apartments themselves are spacious enough and quiet.Parking is limited at times around my building, but there are always further spots available. The parking lot could use more lights as well. They recently installed lots of cameras in the parking lot.Lots of traffic on Culebra and in this area. This is probably because of the many stores, restaurants, and schools nearby which is nice. Coffee and food is in walking distance.Overall happy to be here as the pros outweigh the few cons

I love the staff! Desiree has to be one of the sweetest staff members I’ve encountered. She’s always willing to go out of her way to help, when needed. Maintenance staff always get things done in a timely manner. The place is always well kept, which is a huge bonus! I couldn’t have asked for a better apartment complex to live in!

Horrible place to live. Small apartment complex with nosey neighbors. Cars are broken into on a daily basis. I had to pay $450 for my window. The manager is all in your business with no privacy whatsoever. The maintenance guy is also all in your business and in and out of the apartment for no reason snooping around. AC doesnt work properly and roaches all in the apartment. Carpet stinks like the managers upper lip. Neighbors have the power to call tow trucks on each other. Over charges on the rent and utilities. Homeless people live in the back wooded area and jump back fence. The pool is green, small, and disgusting. I left after just being there for 2 months. Theres better options out there. Keep searching.

These apartments are worth leasing! Desiree, the apartment manager, is very professional and helpful. She has acknowledged any concerns that I have had as well as followed up in a timely manner.The apartment grounds are well maintained, clean, and safe. The parking areas are well lit at night. The location is close to shopping, food, and entertainment.The prices are affordable as well. I would recommend Carmel Canyon to friends and family.

The apartment complex is always clean. The people in the office especially the manager Ms. Desiree is very helpful and is always willing to lend a hand. Whenever i call, she always answer politely and my concern is always addressed. One time the dish washer broke and the next day they came and fixed it. Trash is always picked up. The place is quiet and safe. All in all from the manager to the bottom, everything is excellent. 5/5 rating.

I definitely have to say a Huge Thank You to Desiree, the manager here!! Shes very professional, attentive, on top of things, and handles things asap without hesitation! She takes the time to communicate via email, text, calls, etc. when needed especially to address any situations that may arise. You dont find that often anymore. Also, maintenance is awesome as well. Both of them are professional, take care of things immediately and have always taken the time to listen and address any concerns within my unit. Thank you all! You are doing an amazing job! Have lived here going on 3 years and it is a great community. I have worked with both Rose as well as Desiree and they both excel in what they do. They have helped me through a difficult time and made things as smooth as possible when transferring would recommend this community but also that you work with them specifically they are the best!

We just relocated to San Antonio, TX and our friend recommended Carmel Canyon Apartments.Could not have picked a better place to call home. The office manager Desiree Mitchell is aweeeeeesome, she has gone above and beyond her job responsibilities to help her us adjust to the area.Fantastic location, you will find everything you need within a 15 minutes drive.Grocery stores, post office, ER, a variety of restaurants, super large and cool movie theater, schools, Church. Its been a blessing living here.

A year ago our family of 3 moved to Carmel Canyon. There has been so many beautiful memories made there. We moved out because we have purchased a home, otherwise we would have never left. Desiree the manager and her maintenance crew did an amazing job taking care of the community. We highly recommend this community for your family.

I have lived here for the past year and honestly I do not have anything to complain about. the community is very nice, the management is attentive to our needs, and the location is hard to beat with everything being within a 10 min drive! maintenance is always quick when an order is placed and more community event are being held.since this is in the alamo ranch area, lord of traffic is to be expected most times, but with good planning and time management this should not be an issue. other than that I have nothing to complain about! i have recommended carmel canyons to my friends even and they loved it!

Came to check out an apartment, had roaches alive and dead but they tried blaming the previous tenant for the roaches. When we asked to be refunded our deposit they refused saying that there was only one dead roaches placed in the fridge by the previous tenant.

The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect to enjoy the west side of San Antonio. Is not a very big apartment complex so the attention to details is outstanding. Highly recommend.Mauricio from UPWash.

I really appreciate how attentive and nice the staff is here. With any problems you bring to their attention they get to fixing it as soon as they can and work with you to help you out if you have issues in and outside of the apartment. The complex is also located in a great area and the community here is very nice, would recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a smaller complex to move into.

Desiree is a pleasure to work with. She was able to get TWO of my children in a unit and they are elated!!! She went above and beyond with her customer service. Always responded in a timely manner in email or text messages. Would definitely recommend Carmel Canyon Apartments!

Very affordable apartment in the Alamo Ranch area. Maintenance addresses your needs right away. They actually came by to fix a leak 30 minutes after I submitted a work order. I would recommend anyone looking for a unit in a safe area to rent at Carmel Canyon

Desiree is the new manager and is doing GREAT! She is tough, but fair! Maintenance requests are taken care of quickly, efficiently and professionally. The CC team are all very friendly and care about the residents and the community/grounds! The place is peaceful, quiet and a very comfortable place to live. Highly recommend.

Before I called Carmel Canyon Apartment Homes and spoke with Desiree, I felt defeated. My son and I were in the middle of a horrible move in experience and in the process of getting out of a lease. I called for two weeks asking questions before I actually filled out the application. Every time I called Desiree or Rosie answered every question and never made me feel like a number. They even went above and beyond to move us into a beautiful unit quickly.

I’ve been living here for the past 2 years and I’ve got to say, for my first time renting, it has been overall amazing. The staff is amazing, they have always worked with me on whatever it is I needed. I highly recommend Carmel Canyon Apartments for anyone looking into it.

This apartment is the best place to live affordable, nice apartment layout everything is just wonderful. Don’t even get me start on management Pricilla is so wonderful and she really care for her residents and making it a home and a save place to stay. If your looking for apartments I will 1000% recommend these apartments you will love it.

I love living here! The most important things to me are cleanliness, quietness, and location. This place meets my expectations in those areas and then some. The manager is super nice, professional and helpful. I absolutely love that I can not hear my neighbors, ever. It has been a peaceful experience living here. And to top it off, you are so close to Everything!Update: I moved out in November of 2018. I have Yet to receive my deposit!! I am continually promised it is in the mail and it isnt. This is against the LAW!!!

This apartment complex has been great at servicing any needs I have requested. The grounds are nice and well kept. The front office is polite and welcomes you in.

I moved in 9/20 under different management co.A new management co. (Arbor Properties) took over soon afterwards. They have been Terrific !The new Manager, Pricilla is truly awesome at her job !! I can’t say enough. She’s always letting us know of what’s going on around the property, very informative, she truly cares ! The maintenance is awesome as well ! Very prompt and reliable. They don’t put a bandaid on it the problem, they solve it. I would highly recommend living here if your looking for a great apartment with excellent management !!

There are several things you cant beat from Carmel Canyon- the price- the cleanliness- the location- the amenities- the staffHaving shopped all over San Antonio I encountered buildings where the upkeep was lacking that charged hundreds more than Carmel Canyon. These apartments are close to everything but with the privacy and quietness youd want...perfect for families. The pool, fitness center, walking track were major selling points. But to be honest, what tipped the scale for me was the friendly staff. No joke. After having walked into the offices of some super rude, money grubbing complexes around - it was refreshing to actually be greeted with a smile and followed up with promptly via email and phone.This place is worth the wait and lives up to all the hype.

Went to Carmel Canyon today and the office staff and manger were super friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and made me feel like I was already home. Great location close to a big shopping area.

Just moving in today long distance and there were a few miscommunications about when I would be coming BUT the maintenance team and Priscilla were absolutely INCREDIBLE on fixing any and all issues that came up! They really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and were so nice! I was already looking forward to moving here and now I am even more excited to be here. Thanks so much y’all!

I love this place!! Weve lived here for about 4 months. The staff is very friendly and genuinely cares about their tenants. I have had a couple of maintenance calls and anytime I call they send the guys out the same day and usually within a couple of hours of the call. Most of the people that live here are very friendly and its quiet at night, youll never hear loud partying. The walls are super thick so you cant hear anything from your neighbors. After reading some of the reviews at other apartments and hearing horror stories my family and I will be staying here until we buy a house.

The service here is excellent! So friendly, 100% friendly. Maintenance is great! Community Great! It’s so quiet and peaceful. Parking is available throughout the day/night so no rushing to get one. One thing they could work on is executing. I have 2 things that need to be replaced and they gave me 2 past due dates. The communication on that is a little left. In others words great place!

The complex manager gave us incorrect information about obtaining the interior paint color when we repainted a room at move-out, and then charged us $250 for it. We were also charged for carpet cleaning, which hasn’t happened from any other complex I’ve lived in. Move-in was a disaster, but that was the prior management. It was a decent place while we were there, but the move-out experience wrecked it.

I have looked at several apartments and I was most impressed with management from here. I believe her name was Mrs. Mitchel. She was very professional and went out of their way to assist me. I wasn’t expecting a follow up but I was very appreciative.

The was so nice and clean and the place I feel secured. Most of all the people personnel they are kind and generous and very helpful.

The lady in the office is very rude. I have been reporting issues with my air every month. It takes forever for them to come and fix it. The last time I put in a work order was on a Sunday in August and they didnt come to fix it until that Thursday and its gone out again. We pay too much rent to be treated this way. I can not wait until my lease is over.

Best experience ever this apartments are the best management she the best any maintenance work gets done right alway I just love it here .

Alright so I applied over 2 weeks ago to live here and have yet to hear back ANYTHING! At this point I don’t want to live here especially if this is a reflection on the kind of respect/attention tenants receive. I’ve called, left messages, & even tried contacting through the website. Just return my money and we will be square. PSA IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Walked in to fill out an application and Amelia took me on a tour of the property. She was very friendly and courteous! And met maintenance staff also very welcoming. This property very clean and kept up. Can’t wait!!!!

Constantly had issues with this place the entire time I lived there. Filled out my application in office and then my lease was through email. They switched management companies on us and didnt even know we were moving in until I called about the keys. They showed in our records on the computer how much we had put down in deposits and fees and told us we overpaid initially which was very skeptical. Then they switched management on us AGAIN and when we reached out about our lease ending and they didnt have the proper date, it was 6 months later than what we had signed off. Then come to find out they didnt even have our actual signed lease on file AT ALL. I got charges after moving out for $198 when we put down a $250 deposit and was told by Pierre that it shouldve been covered with extra sent back to me, but I had to send my original lease. I send the lease me and my roommate signed and he said it might be invalid and he would send it to corporate and get back to me, and then I received ANOTHER invoice for the same thing when I wasnt even given an update on why my deposit wasnt used to cover those charges. Liars, cheat, steals. Im going to press civil charges if theres not proof on where my deposit went.

I submitted a heater work order it was taken care of in a timely manner, George was very proffesional and curtious. Im very happy and impressed with the mannerism and attentiveness of all the staff. I love living here!

Love the new management they are awesome Pierre handled an ac leak promptly my only problem is there is not an accessible phone number for the towing company I am paralyzed and so it helps to park in handicap spot at night there is a white car that parks there no tag and not even apartment red sticker, Im on blood thinners so any fall would prove fatal to me and all because some non resident parked there

Love everything about these apts very flexible & willing to assist those who need guidance/affordable living big shoutout to Piero Adams he makes sure things get handled right and big ups to lady & maintenance teams that help maintain this property salute we appreciate everything yawl do let’s get this back gate fixed please lol

Nice apartments close to a lot of food places, closets are big, and so is the tub, and a very quite complex!

I came for insurance reasons, the property is very clean and the apartment manager, Desiree, is very friendly.

Great place to live small community lots of activities.Game Night , National Night Out, Nice Trail on the back side.
