Awful!awful!Don’t even risk going there. It’s like having nightmares every day and night.Everyone is trying to move out.The management is the most unprofessional I have ever encountered. They promised to visit our unit for nearly 40 days but never showed up. Every day brought a new excuse, and eventually, they stopped responding to emails. When we went to the leasing office, the manager would avoid us by leaving through another door and telling her staff to say she was busy. One time, I ran into her accidentally, greeted her, and all she said was, “I’m busy.”I wish i could give negative stars. Remember, if you sign a lease you will be come a hostage with no help .See other reviews people wrote and be carful not to fall in trap.

Would not recommend moving here what so ever. I’ve been living here for about 3 months and still have yet to receive my mail key. My kitchen sink is out and all the office ladies have to say is I have to wait when the order was put in 2 weeks ago. You also get charged monthly for pest control but you have to schedule w/ the office to have them spray your apartment even though you pay every month for that service. The communication that the leasing office has with their tenants is horrible.

I went by to look at these apartments they’re pretty but I talked to some of the residents here. They’ve had lots of problems here, office never answers the phone learned from experience and the maintenance and emergency numbers don’t work when residents need help with an emergency. I feel bad for the residents who are stuck in a contract where no one will help them. I’m currently looking for an apartment but am going to have to pass on this one. Y’all need to be more considerate of your residents. no one move here. Call 311 for maintenance issues if you’re stuck here. Good luck.

Been here 3 years for 2 years dishwasher hasnt worked at all work order has been in since day 1 everytime I ask the office about it they say sorry our priority is A/C which is a lie cuz my a/c barely keeps my apartment cold they wont fix it either all they do is vacuum the drip tray they have under the water heater. The office doesnt help at all ive been here through 4 different companies the one in office now is the worst one yet. They cant even keep repairman employed cuz they underpay them.

I’ve spent some time in this apartment, and there are a few major issues worthSecond, the apartment’s service and maintenance are subpar. Response time from the staff is quite slow, and some amenities seem poorly maintained. Overall, while there are a few positives, the living experience here isn’t something I would recommend.

I went to City Summit and walked in was greeted by everyone! It was nice to see a friendly staff instead of walking in and being ignored like others Ive been to . I was looking for a one bedroom one bath for my daughters first apartment. They have great prices and a great staff! I had to share!!

DO NOT LIVE HERE.. The new staff here at city summit is horrible. They lack customer service!!! Rude and argumentative. Pools are nasty, property not well kept. Maintenance leaves bags of trash around. And the new manager Samantha needs work! Gates broken. Gym is missing parts. I have no hot water for the past 2 days and even called the emergency maintenance inwhich doesnt exist. Whole office staff is rude. I miss the old staff or management. They just lost a 3year resident, not renewing my lease.

City Summit Apartments is on the rise up with the new property manager Lisa is getting everything sorted. Lisa is so personable and funny I enjoyed the thorough tour I got of the complex and my future apartment. I was able to do a walk through of the apartment I wanted to rent.I’m so excited to move in and enjoy living close to the hospital I work at.

As most of the recent reviews say, this place is atrocious. I moved here from NJ in January, and found the place online. Stacy sent me pics and videos of an apartment, which was nothing at all like the one i moved into. First, the apartment wasnt ready the morning of move in, so i had to reschedule the movers to the afternoon. Once i received the keys, the carpeted floors in all the videos were old and damaged linoleum roll, scratched, and bubbling. The walls were all damaged, spackled over and not sanded, so all the seams were showing. There was spackle filling in holes, every outlet cover had to be removed to have any plugs actually stay in the wall. Then, it being one of the coldest weeks of the year, the heat didnt work. They sent out a maintenance man, who did nothing but look and leave. It took 5 more days of calling and going to the office to get a professional out to look at it. Finally, after a month of complaining and taking pictures, getting the assistant manager out to look at the apartment, they decided to let me out of my lease. They gave me $300 off my rent for the month. They didnt pay for me to move, give me rent back, or anything else to rectify the issue. I had to pay movers AGAIN to move to a new place. Finally, when i picked up my security deposit check, they took an $85 cleaning- not attempted fee. Im just glad to be out of here, but beware! The dumpsters were overflowing, the pools were disgusting and not maintained, and the property was generally un maintained.

I have been here since mid July Master toilet overflows into shower THREE WEEKS my only other shower leaks downstairs almost 2 weeks NOW AC stopped its over 90 degrees w a toddler suffering w asthma and I suffer w seizures No help!!! I have been a resident of this apartment complex for over three years. For the past three weeks, I have been experiencing significant issues with the AC unit and water heater, which remain unresolved despite numerous requests. Additionally, there is mold present in both bathrooms and under the sink. I reported these problems via email two weeks ago, but there has been no response or attempt to address these concerns. This level of neglect is unacceptable, and it is evident that the management no longer prioritizes the well-being of its residents. My lease ended in January, and I have decided not to renew it due to these persistent issues and the apparent lack of concern from the management. I cannot recommend this apartment complex based on my recent experiences.

We currently live here and I would NEVER EVER recommend these apartments. They are discussing and not well taken care of. The ceiling in one of the bedrooms is literally falling and we’ve made the office aware and still nothing after 3 months. We have a roach infestation and they won’t get us on the list to have our house sprayed. I have a 11 month old and we have to keep him cooped up because it’s gross and maintenance nor the office will do much if anything to address any of the problems. We are military and will not be recommending any military to this place.

These apartment homes are beautiful and the leasing agent Destany helped me out with everything that I needed and more. She was very kind, patient and understanding. She was with me and helped me out every step of the way with the paperwork, signing to my move in. The manager Ms. Cindy the manger was kind as well and informative letting me know that if I needed help with anything or had more questions to not hesitate to ask.

Ooof where to even begin. Lived there for a year in a townhome, prior to that my partner lived there alone in a 1 bedroom with many issues. While living there the entire lease we had NO a/c, made many work orders, even had our own guy come out to try & help. When telling them that they finally sent someone & said the work the guy did they did which was false. They proceeded to let me know that the a/c didn’t work because my dogs brushed up on the vent to much, my dogs never once got near that vent. Our master bedroom shower had a big hole at the bottom that never got fixed so we couldn’t use it. Our kitchen was INVESTED with roaches, put in orders many times one guy came out and didn’t even spray the areas I asked. We put tons of money into roach products. Most knobs/faucets were not installed when told they would be by move in. Lastly we had a dog attack & although I know this isn’t the apts fault, we did let them know the owner had taunted & harassed us while on walks after the incident & they didn’t do anything to help. My best advice is to stay away from this complex as much as possible, literally anything & anywhere is better than here. Glad to be gone. I’m 10000% sure there’s other details I’m forgetting.

It has been challenging since I was promised items that were not honored from previous management. I hate that I did not get my Ada parking and had issues that were taking forever. But, on the other side of things, if people before us would have taken good care of it I would not have had to wait. What some people don’t realize that it takes time and budgets and scheduling and importance not that anyone is not important but sometimes major things take first priority.Do you think I worried about my oven when I saw a major water leak in front.. no I called and let them know as I heard it happen. I just am happy that they listened and were able to get something’s off my list taken care of. It is not their fault that other people are slobs and cause issues they are trying to maintain. Just a food for thought! Once again , thanks for getting some of my list done!

Horrible experience .. for one I’ve lived here for a year now and my lease started in march of last year, can someone tell me why I had no toilet working in my own master restroom for 9 months?????? I even had to get a hotel for two nights when it was August in Texas because for a week my dog and two children and I had no air conditioning!!! I was told I would get re imbursed but you’ll never know who the next apartment manager will be because they all make promises and leave this place because they can’t take the stress of keeping up. I haven’t seen one or two maintenance people that have maintained as employees since I’ve been here for one year only, and I don’t blame them! I even had a homeless few living next door and it took me calling the cops several times and even the answering service after hours had to complain about how unsafe it was here because the crack head that broke in was trying to threaten me! This property is not safe and not maintained and I will continue to let people know that this place will never come help you with maintenance unless you get the city involved. Can’t wait to get out of here!! Been waiting on work orders that they just erase and act like they didn’t know existed! Last but not least one lived in rentalHomes and I asked how much it was for month to month so I can get the hell outta here they are telling me market rent for this place with one working shower and three repairs needed a year ago is “500.00” more then what I’m paying! I have my attorney looking into this because that is fraud!

Been living here since October and I’m getting evicted. I have been paying out of my own pocket to maintain this apartment because they can’t fix anything. Did a walk thru when I moved in and the apartment wasn’t even ready. Have gone personally to management because my sinks and bathrooms keep flooding, mold, holes in my ceiling due to bad plumbing , dishwasher not working since I moved in and has my kitchen smelling horrible. Garbage disposal not working due to existing food that was there from previous tenants. I’ve given them invoices of what I have had to pay, spoken to a lady who says she was the manager and now I’m being told she never was. Got locked out the first night I moved in and their after hours dispatch said they don’t do lockouts yet leasing office said they do, so I paid a locksmith $480 for 3 minutes of their time to let me in my own home and they have yet to reimburse me. This place is ridiculous. I already seemed legal council and have pics, my work orders, txts, emails, and I’m filing suit for all the money I paid. I will get my money back.

Ive lived here for over 6 months now and have had a broken AC Unit and I live in a 2 bed 2 bath where one of the bathrooms entirely does not work, no toilet or shower in that bathroom, basically just a moldy closet now. The one bathroom we do have functioning is painted over mold infested disgusting to live in. But what choice do I have? I was rushed into a lease and LIED to about what the appt would look like and was told I couldnt move my move in date even though the appt was broken and that they would fix the appt while I lived here. Since then Ive had a FLOOD in my appt and had to wait hours for someone to come out and help and they didnt clean anything they just stopped the water.Im now being told by the horrible new worker Mary in the office that I cant pay my rent in parts because she wants to evict me and if I pay part of my rent they cant evict me as fast. Pitiful company just looking for move ins. DO NOT LEASE WITH THIS PLACE, IT IS BUG INFESTED, MOLD INFESTED, BROKEN WORN DOWN UNITS WITH BROKEN AIR CONDITIONING UNITS.IF YOUR A NEW RENTER I WOULDNT TOUCH THIS PLACE WITH A 50FT POLE.

Do not apply here! They will charge you over $200 and if you get declined you will get nothing back. Administration fees is what the scam is referred to. $50 app fee $150 unit fee both non refundable whether your approved or declined. It really sucks getting screwed out of $200 when your homeless. It made me feel worse getting declined since this place is run down and dirty looking. I was desperate. Try the Village at Hampton cove. Much better than this place. Only costs 60 bucks to apply. Maintenance comes out the same day when you submit work order. Such a relief to rent with professionals.

Listen to the actual tenants when we say DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have lived here for several years, before Shippy Properties took over. They are by far the worst mgmt company to handle this property. Their staff, although nice, is lacking. Ive had a work order for damages from an upstairs leak for over a year. They keep saying something will get done and it does not, and thats not the only work order Im waiting on. They frequently send out emails that they are consolidating work orders when they are actually closing them and not doing the work. Ive had to do my own repairs, buy my own replacement items and pay for my own pest control. I wfh nights and their front gate is never closed. Vehicles have been broken into, mailboxes broken into (they have not been replaced yet and we need to pick up our mail at the post office) and weve caught people inside the trash cans going through the trash. They need proper repairs to the complex and more maintenance employees or this place will only get worse.

Definitely not worth living here.If your apartment needs to be fixed they never fix it. Even after numerous times of putting in a work order.There front gates NEVER work hence the crime against vehicles in the apartment. The homeless go inside the apartment complex and dumpster dive. Trash all over the apartment complex.Lighting inside the complex is minimal. Some areas are too dark.Honestly, they just care about your money and not the residences.Don’t even bother calling the front office they never answer the phone.Pay a little extra to live way better than this place.

The staff at the apartments are respectful and care about everyone in the environment. They resolve problems if there is something wrong with anything around the apartment. Managers will try their best to fix the resolution which I respect. It is important for managers to have a great atmosphere with the costumers that welcome them. Rude Manager, Roach Issue.Im writing this review to share my disappointing experiences living at City Summit Apartments. Firstly, I must express my dissatisfaction with the Community manager, Joellen Steubing. Her dismissive and rude attitude has left me feeling unsupported and frustrated. On one occasion, the water was shut off in my building, but she denied any knowledge of it and failed to provide any assistance.More recently, Ive been dealing with a roach infestation in my apartment. Despite bringing this to the attention of Lauren and Ann in the office, theyve been giving me the well get to it attitude and havent taken any real steps to address the issue. They even said that the dates have changed for the exterminator and still cant tell me when theyll arrive.As a paying tenant, I deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism by the management team. Im extremely frustrated and disappointed with the lack of urgency and accountability displayed by the management team.As a paying tenant, it is unacceptable for me to pay the rent late or even skip a few payments.With that being said I feel it is unacceptable to be given a I Will get to you attitude and completely disregarding a paying tenants frustration with roaches (which is a health issue).

I honestly wish I can give this apartment complex 0 stars. My AC went out on Monday and now it Wednesday which is still not fix at all. I called the emergency line and state they notify maintenance. No one showed up so I called the office and of course they dont answer the phone. I shouldve learn that by now since living in the complex for almost 2 years now and they never answer the phone. I went to speak with Anna on Monday and said maintenance will stop by by the end of the day and to please call if they dont arrive by 5:30. In addition maintenance had about 3-4 AC to repair before me. They never showed up and called the office and was informed they left at 5pm. They reached out to the maintenance on call and he said he will deal with it the next day. On that day it was 90 degrees outside and it was 80 degrees in my apartment. The following day I called the emergency line for an update and spoke with Jodi and she inform me that there are a total of 17 AC that are out. Yes you read that correct 17! I had some other issues that happened with maintenance as well in the past but overall PLEASE do not renew or sign a lease with this complex unless you love having headaches from them. Furthermore, they are not doing anything about animals feces that the residents are not picking up after their pets go to the bathroom. So watch out when walking on the grass cause its a landmine of feces. So if you love an office who does not pick up their phone, closes early, stepping and smelling feces when walking to your apartment, and having your AC broken during 90 degrees weather then City Summit Apartments is your new home (:

Been without ac 2 months. Keep getting excuses and the run around and no timeframe for a fix. It’s very frustrating and feel like the new management doesn’t care. It’s over 100 degrees some days and they have not even provided a window unit. They say they will follow up and then never do. I wish there was better communication but every time I go to speak to someone it’s like they’re hearing about it for the first time and I haven’t received an apology once or felt like they were trying to help. They just keep saying well let you know. They honestly don’t care. I have three kids and a three bedroom and any other apartment complex would have fixed it by now. 2 months is way too long.

Im in property management, and it is hard to satisfy everyone. I read the reviews and I feel sometimes it is not what you say it is how you say. I have dealt with the most professional people at the properties off, and maybe it is not the management maybe it is other tenants complicating others living style. Do not always go by reviews of angry consumers, because you never know the entire story. I was a bit optimistic so I took a tour of the property myself and I did not see the trash people were referring to.

DO NOT RENT HERE THEY DONT MAKE REPAIRS WHEN NEEDED. Our refrigerator had went out & it took almost 2 weeks to repair. We’ve had a water leak n master bedroom bathroom & it’s been over 8 months without a repair n schedule to be repaired. Floors needed to be replaced & they refused to replace flooring.

It’s really heartbreaking when your best friend of 17 years finally moves to your city after being apart for almost 15 years and you move her into this sorry excuse for an apartment complex. After over a month with no a/c in this God forsaken TEXAS HEAT, she is unable to stay in the overpriced apartment she’s paying for. She’s been gaslit, lied to, and flat out ignored by the office staff when addressing concerns. The office staff is just downright rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. All she’s asking for is a comfortable living space! Since when is that too much to ask for!?! Honestly, I wish I was exaggerating all of this but I’m not. Yes, we understand that she is not the only tenant living there but come on, at least make an effort to communicate!

Been living here for several years and it’s been so frustrating waiting for work order to be addressed. Most times they consolidate work orders and never fix anything. Most work orders have been years old and when I go to the office although they are nice, nothing gets done. I’ve been extremely patient and trying to be understanding but no resolution. I would give 0 stars if I could - having a hard time believing they didnt buy the good reviews especially since one even says front desk for the name. The office staff is rude and will not respond to any type of communication - phone, email, I have even gone to the BBB with no results. They purposely closed all but my most recent maintenance request to bump me to the back of the line even though my AC has been out for over a month now - dont let the thermostat reading fool you, it only reads that low because it is DIRECTLY below the ac vent. See the thermal gun for the actual temperature in my apartment. My door is not properly sealed and didnt even have weather stripping at the top - I had to buy my own, but it didnt make a difference because even when the door is sealed and locked it is about two inches from touching the door frame. The white that you see between the black and the tan in the door pictures is the spacing in between the door and the frame. I have informed them I am unable to stay there due to health concerns with it being so hot and requested compensation for all the effort I have had to make on my own for repairs, yet they still refuse to even talk to me. I no longer accept the we have multiple acs out excuse as, again, it has been OVER A MONTH and that is not an acceptable way to treat residents. DO NOT MOVE HERE THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!

Place is the worst I’ve stayed at, infested with roaches and flies, trash overflows. Management won’t fix anything my ceiling has mold and has been leaking since I moved in and they have not fixed it. I’ve refused to pay rent due to all the health hazards and now getting evicted. My daughter unfortunately moved there and for the past month, her AC will not cool her apartment below low-80s, even when it’s only 90 outside. It was shaking the whole apartment. She sent me videos of her water bottle rattling on the counter. After weeks of being gaslit (being told “it’s cooling”) she posted a BBB review, and their response was to belittle her for being FRUSTRATED (my lord!) and her complaint of the “shaking” (their sarcastic quotes) and basically calling her a liar. (“It’s cooling”) MEANWHILE, SHE CANNOT STAY IN THE APARTMENT SHE’S PAYING FOR. I have called. My husband has emailed. She emailed the company. They are just not responsive. It’s heartbreaking for us as parents.

I don’t really write reviews but we had to write this. This was our first home and we lived for 5 years. It was great at first but it gradually started getting worse and worse. The management is very nice and welcoming to people looking to move in but to their current residents, they don’t talk right or address any of your concerns. When we moved out of here a couple days ago, they over charged us on rent. We were only supposed to pay rent for 22 days but instead had to pay 30 day rent. we paid it off because we wanted to leave with a good heart hoping we would get the refund once everything was settled. They didn’t give any refund and charged us additional on other things. If they try to overcharge you, don’t pay it. You can request for emergency maintenance and still won’t hear from anyone for days. Overall, great place at first but really disheartening to leave with such hard feelings.

Not a good complex to make your forever home or to live in. Their maintenance is next to nonexistent. Pray nothing goes wrong with your unit while your lease is active because then it’ll only go downhill from there with no sign of getting better. They have high typical standards when choosing/approving new tenants but they don’t carry high standards for themselves such as good customer service or speedy maintenance etc. It all starts with management but this complex has fell too deep in the hole to get better.

Great price, great location, great people. I have enjoyed my year here--its peaceful, the neighbors are nice, the pools arent crowded, and its convenient to work and shopping. Lots of renovations are currently happening, as the facility has changed ownership, and that can be chaotic, but still, the buildings are solid and well insulated--I cant hear my neighbors!--and maintenance is on point. In fact, maintenance is where this place really shines. When I need something fixed, they never give me any hassle, theyre always unfailingly polite, and if they cant get the job done right away, they at least make sure that a temporary fix is provided so that the tenant remains comfortable. I would recommend this complex to anyone that wants a clean, affordable place to live where the staff takes the tenants comfort seriously. I will absolutely extend my lease here.

Insect infestation if rampant. Maintenance takes forever to respond to a work order and then the work is either done wrong of is incomplete. Reported a water leak before Christmas and they still have not replaced damaged dry wall and carpeting 3 months later. It took 2 weeks for them to respond to a report of a leak under the kitchen sink. They finally responded when I went into the office and threatened to make a scene. Even then the repairs lasted only 4 days and now the sink leaks worse than before. I cant use the kitchen because there is no way to clean up. Maintenance is understaffed and overworked. There are a couple hundred units that were built almost 50 years ago and they are breaking down faster than the maintenance staff can repair them. I plan on finding another location when this lease is up.

Location Location Location. I enjoy living here. It is within Medical Center and near attractions and not too far from downtown San Antonio. I have had no disturbances or problems. The office staff is professional and knowledgeable. I recommend.

Normally I do not leave reviews, and tried to be positive about my time at an apartment complex, but I do not have one nice thing to say about this complex.First of all, management has changed multiple times in the 1 year we were at this complex. This is a HUGE red flag. They are impossible to get in contact with and I felt like they didnt care about their residents.When we moved in, we found multiple issues with the townhome. There were lights burned out, the downstairs toilet was constantly running, the air conditioning upstairs didnt work, and there was a rolly pollie infestation downstairs.Our air conditioning went out multiple times during the summer, our water heater was broken for about a month, the blinds in the bedroom facing the parking lot fell (they didnt find time to put those back up from when we first reported it on 2/13 to 5/21 when we moved out), and there was a leak in the 2nd bathroom that seeped to our living room wall every time we tried to use that shower. We tried to get it fixed, but maintenance didnt know what to do and it was obvious that it wasnt going to be fixed in the time that we lived there.I was trying to work with this place. We moved in during COVID-19, but what we went through was inexcusable. We found a much nicer and newer place in the same area with a more helpful staff for just about what we were paying here.Save your time, money, and sanity and do not move here. This was the worst apartment I have ever lived in, and would not recommend moving here to my worst enemy.

CITY SUMMIT or RADCO!!!! name doesnt matter and help at all while the people working at the leasing office are the same people from previous staff. we need to new faces and professional people who has the potential to resolve the customers problems effectively and timely. No one likes to deal with the same person who previously ignored your issue and totally lied to you about resolving it. I also noticed some recent changes in the management staff. which seems a positive sign, but there are still some members from the previous staff. which is main problem, they still behave the same way the they did before. they ignore you and they ignore your issues. this is a great location, we were packed tightly in the 2015, it was hard to find a parking spot for your car, but recently people started to move out, because of the staff behavior towards them. it looks here deserted now. they felt they were over charged, their issues were deliberately ignored, they werent welcome and respect when they visited the leasing office. I felt the exactly the same situation(not welcomed, not respected) when I visited the leasing office this morning and ran into a member of the previous staff. I waited for a while (34 minutes) and i was getting late for work, so I left without being helped. people get frustrated over and over and eventually they leave the place. some of my good neighbors left. I know many people who want to live here again but dont want to deal with the same people. I hope we have a welcoming and honest staff this year.

This place used to be a lot better until the new company (CITY SUMMIT) took over. Currently this place is a total mess under the new management, the most unprofessional and ineffective management I have ever seen. There were fewer people in the previous management, but they were very dictated and honest. I have been living here for two years now, so I moved out my old apt and moved in to town home on the 1st of Jan 2016. As I moved in, two of the three (2/3) bathrooms were already out of order, the lights in the kitchen are not working, the carpet is so dirty that if you walk on while your feet are wet it will make your feet soles literally black/dirty. stains and dirty spots are very visible on the carpet. I informed the management of the issues in my apartment, but it has been a week no one showed up to fix the problems I have and I do follow of on it daily, but still waiting.....We have days when the trash is overflowing.The mail boxes were vandalized in August 2015, but nothing has been done to repair them yetThere are a lot of bugs and ants also inside the apartment, it is such a disastrous situation.The management is very professional in overcharging the residents with all sorts of extra fees though.think really hard before renting here and make sure every thing is the way you were promised before moving in to your new apt.

BEWARE THIS COMMUNITY IS INFESTED WITH RATS. I was moved to another apartment because of the issues with termites, I was told termites were not active. Recent I have found food and zipped locked bags bitten in my pantry. When I address my concern because I have 2 small children and one with medical needs. I had to wait 5 days to have pest control in my apartment. They confirmed that my apartment has rat activity. Till this time I have not been able to speak to the manager of the complex. I have called several times and there is no answer. I did speak to one of the new workers. When I addressed my concerns about my child’s health she hang up the phone at me. I feel that my apartment is not save for my children that they are in danger. BE AWARE people with children and medical issues. Please please be careful this is the worst place to live. Managemanet does not care. This place is worst then a zero.I have been leaving in city summit for almost 3 years. I am not from San Antonio and wanted to go back home that is the reason I have stood here so long. The manager has always be horrible and the assistant manager is so rude. In my apartment I noticed that water was coming in the first and second floor and them about it for about 3 years since I pretty much moved in. It was never addressed correctly. The maintenance guys told me it was cosmetic so it was painted. Until recently the walls were broken and they noticed that the walls were eaten by termites and possibly mold. So I was moved to other apartment. It is very frustrating because I addressed this issue so many time. I also have to small children. One that was a premature with respiratory problems. Which did not help. They pay for my move but a lot of the stuff I had to move by myself because I am a single move with a 2 year old and 6 month old. In the new apartment I addressed some issues immediately that laundry door was very lose. The follow it it almost fell on my 6 month old baby. It would have killed him. Maintenance is horrible they do not know what they are doing. I have a lot of issue with this complex it run horrible. It take forever to get something done but if you don’t have the rent on time that is a major issue but they don’t understand that they also need to provide better services. Not to mention that the laundry room is so dirty and it gust me out to wash them. I am still here because I want to do back home. However I would not recommend this complex to anyone specially with children.

Update*** on Friday after promises of repairs my bathroom flooded!! After being patient with repairs they back charge me for cable tv. I transferred my services so I dont need theirs for $41 a month but its mandatory and now I owe $160. Give me a break. The hidden fees!!Make sure before you move in you have repairs done. I have moved in to a complete disaster. Leaking sinks broken toilets electrical issues, my dryer vent is clogged, my floors were disgusting my kitchen appliances didnt work, there is a hole in my ceiling that leaks when it rains, my shower goes from hot to cold. The sinks all had faucets that were broken. The painters left a huge mess opened drawers and the paint is still chipping off. They had to replace all of the floors which took 2 months. And we are three months in and my front door is broken, room smells like mildew and they are charging me all kinds of fees. This place is a mess and the management are unprofessional. Aesthetically its looking better but the water damage that they keep painting over and holes in the ceiling remind me the bones are bad. I hope my apartment was just a lemon.

I lived here for a year. The floor plans are huge, the pricing is good for the area, and theres ample parking if you have roommates or want to invite friends over. We had a lot of problems while living here, though. We had a year round cockroach problem, waterbug roaches everywhere outside and an infestation of kitchen roaches inside, the septic tanks would overflow and raw sewage would be strewn across the parking lots and road, it took a lot of time, patience, and followup to get maintenance to fix problems (I had a massive leak in the ceiling of my bedroom that still wasnt fixed by the time I moved out), and the dumpsters were constantly overflowing. At least half of the worlds bee population lives in City Summits dumpsters. Another weird thing, we didnt have lights or ceiling fans in the living room or bedrooms. It was depressing. People need lights.Did I like living here? No. Would I recommend this place? No. Would I rent here again if I was in a pinch? Also no.

I visited this location with the intent to find a new home accompanied with friendly staff and affordable prices. The end result was quite the antithesis which left me sadly disappointed. I went in the morning with a roommate and spoke with a white man who had brown/blonde hair. This guy was not even the slightest affable like many other leasing agents. He was quiet, didn’t really look at us, and seemed completely uninterested in helping. The pricing was too expensive and he left out the special deals until we specifically inquired on them. I even asked what is special about city summit that sets them apart from everyone else and his answer was “we have renovated many units”. In case people don’t know, but nearly every apartment complex have rooms that have been upgraded or renovated.We even asked for a showing and he stated there was one available to show, yet he had no dire interest in presenting this model to us. We would ask to see it and he would stay quiet. It felt as if our sexual orientation was the stem of this disprespectful attitude which I hope isn’t the case. Let’s all remember that it’s 2018 and minorities are people too. I’ve viewed many apartments and this was the worst leasing agent I’ve encountered. For the sake of this apartment complex, I hope you let him know to respect every human being who walks through those doors. EDIT 09.01.2018 - READ THIS BEFORE MOVINGMaintenance enters residence (without calling, as they enjoy doing), setting off my security alarm. Maintenance calls to try and access my alarm pin. Rather than providing them with my passcode, I remotely turn off the alarm and turn on all of my cameras to start recording.Maintenance goes to the kitchen and begins working on the sink. Apparently there was an emergency leak that happens often (they had to access my apartment again just 5 days later on 10.06.2018, and mentioned this same issue has been going on since the year before). Knowing this, the complex still continues to move people in the the unit below us - disregarding the risk of water damage to their personal belongings.Maintenance had obvious issues removing my Britta filter from the faucet. Rather than calling me, so that I may direct them on how to take off the simple mechanism, they proceed to just snap it off (completely breaking the filter itself, and rendering the latch irremovable from the actual faucet).THEY DID NOT BRING THIS UP TO ME AT ALL OR NOTIFY ME IN ANY WAY.I had to come home to broken pieces all over my sink, and check the cameras to see what happened.If I didn’t have a security system, or cameras, I would have no idea what happened in my kitchen. I would have come home to broken property without so much as a call from the complex.I called them, and they admitted to breaking the filter, and told me that they would replace it within 24 hours.5 days later, and they enter the residence AGAIN to try and fix the pipe.We bring up the filter, and nobody has a clue what I’m talking about, suddenly.Luckily for me, not only do I have the conversation recorded where they admitted to breaking the filter, as well as promising the replace it - but video evidence as well!Unfortunately, most people do not have the luxury of tracking everything that goes on in their apartment. This property takes care of the stray cats here by spaying/flea treating them and then releasing them back onto the property (This is what they tell you if you call them about it). There are currently 15 (that I actually have photos of) including 5 new kittens (I guess the spaying isnt working). Ive been here for a year now and all of the same cats from my first day are still here. The cats are so comfortable with people that they will try and walk into your house, into your car, and up to your children. Most of these cats are mangled and extremely bloody/tick-ridden. Ive seen them fight raccoons and opossums (by the pool that kids play in) - so I have a MASSIVE rabies/disease concern. When joking about whether or not I should start taking a pellet gun to detour the cats who try to enter my vehicle, I was essentially shamed for sounding inhumane. Well, Im sick of stepping in cat feces every time I step outside of my home, while management sends emails to the complex about how residents arent picking up after their dogs. Im sick of being hissed at for WALKING TO MY CAR.Regardless, my rent has still been raised along with everybody elses. I was told that this was mandatory and will happen every year. So keep this in mind when you sign a new lease.EDIT: August 2018No new information or progress - apartment has given generic response to my review. The company they are referring to in their response is the company who will be spaying/releasing the cats rather than actually taking care of the problem. Response also asks me to call them, when Ive already spoken to the complex manager and assistant manager over the phone about this problem. This apartment is honestly NOT worth the money they ask for monthly. I had so many maintenance issues here whether it was a busted AC pipe that no one would permanently fix, busted water pipes that caused my ceiling to almost burst open, a sugar ant infestation when I first moved in, messed up tub stopper, broken garbage disposal.. the list goes on. I couldnt wait to get out my lease. Then come to find out they sent a balance to a collection agency for my final water bill but I never received one letter or phone call from the apartment complex to the forwarding information I provided to the office upon moving out. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. They look nice from first glance but renting at this apartment was nothing but a headache and WASTE of money.

Management sucks , roaches in apartment complex when you move in and after pest control , only one maintenance man available most of the time. They don’t care to fix your problems at all. I had mold on my patio closet . All they did was paint over the mold. My uncle took the wood w mold off the wall and maintence never came to replace it after reminded several times. Complained about the mold as a safety hazard to management and corporate as well as our water heater not heating the water to the showers only sometimes if you get lucky. After bringing to corporate and regional manager Kimberly’s attention she threatened to kick us out because one of the applicants girlfriend stays their and is not on the application however when filling out application applicant on the lease asked if he needed to add girlfriends name and city summit employee promted us not to. NOT A PLACE THAT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE ITS YOUR HOME. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT TRY THEIR BEST TO HELP FIX YOUR NEEDS OR ANY PROBLEMS THE COMPLEX HAD PREVIOUS TO MOVE IN OR NOW. We rented for a year, we paid $750 monthly and we had a $200 deposit, now note this time frame was from March 4th 2020 to March 4th 2021. We didnt get to use the gym and or the pool and or the pest control, due to covid, and getting in touch with the office was extremely difficult. They did not give us any discount and or knowledgement, of any improvement. Even though our lease was up on the 4th we still had to pay for those 4 days follow by water and pet and pest control it made that 200 to only $51, extremely unhappy with the out come, if you are thinking about moving there please note the roach infestation, the unusable pool, and the non-existant management.

This place is infested with roaches and rats. The office staff lies through their teeth constantly. Everything they say is BS. My apartment flooded from upstairs leak and they took 8 hours to respond. No after hours emergency services. Moving out and repairs still havent been made. I never once got contacted after flooded. Pool was closed for 6 months. No hot water in laundromat. ALL of the exercise equipment is broken. Apartment wasnt cleaned after last tenant. Doors hanging off the hinges. Overall it was okay. I have moved out since August and have not received deposit back it is now December. They have confirmed that I have a refund, but never received it. Really unacceptable since rent was never late and apartment was left clean. Have called multiple times and they never call back when they say they will.Update!!I would like to let you all know what happened after I got in contact with corporate. I received my refund in June 2018 which is 10 months after I moved out. The check was sent to my address there at City Summit within the 30 days after I moved out, but it made no sense since I submitted my forwarding address to them 60 days prior to my lease ending. They sent a check to an address that I no longer lived and then it was cashed with somebody forging the signature. They said we had already received it and sent a copy of it and that is when I knew it was forged. So long story short had to submit paperwork and then we got it. At this point she wouldve received the full amount we paid, but we did not. So changing my 2 star review to 0!

The buildings are very old and there are leaks all the times. The work orders take forever here. There are all kind of bugs, but worst ones are the bedbugs. Which many apartments have it. They also take forever to empty the cans of animal waste and it smell bad plus you have to keep on putting the waste in there and its just gross. The a/c hasn’t been working good since February and we been surviving by a window a/c Unit for almost 2 months now. If outside 98* hot and a/c not working is not an emergency then what is it. Not well kept whatsoever. Apartments are very old and dirty inside. Bugs all over the place. The gate is mostly just kept open most of the time and theres no security. Laundry machines are frequently broken.

We, the people of city summit, pay rent for only staying at home without even allow to step my foot out of the apartment. For some reason, when my kids come here to play in so called Play Ground, one of the manager of City Summit denies them from playing there without any reason. We pay rent only for shelter. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WALK AROUND THE COMPLEX OR PLAYING ON THE GROUND. I dont have any other reason to pay rent for these kinda apartments.

I been living there for the past 2 years every month my A/C doesn’t work . The only reason I renew my contract with them is because my contract end it at the middle of the pandemic around June so I didn’t want to move to a new place at that moment .Stay away from this place !!Don’t waste your money because this place doesn’t care about there residents.

I currently live here, they gave me an apartment for about 3 months, then they moved me to another one because the first one did not serve anything, such as the bathroom, the shower and the toilet, the kitchen washing, and the air, in The second one they moved me to is the same or worse, the electricity connections break down, there are too many cockroaches, the kitchen sink breaks down all the time and the water stagnates there for weeks and drains. It stinks horribly, it takes them weeks to come and fix it and weeks later it breaks down again, the neighbors above you can hear everything they make is an exaggerated noise, plus you call the office to report that and I feel like Those who work there are bothered,, its a long time for me to finish the contract and get out of here 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
