Both Isabella and Stephanie are highly professional and incredibly informative. They instantly make you feel welcomed and part of the community. After touring the beautiful, clean, and quiet apartment complex with Stephanie, I applied right away. Compared to other places I visited, the warm vibe, their friendly smiles, and even the jokes they shared made a lasting impression. The inviting atmosphere of the complex and my positive gut instinct made applying an easy decision. Can’t wait to move in and make this place my own 😊

I have resided in this neighborhood for over three years and can describe my experience as generally satisfactory. However, I encountered several common issues associated with apartment living, including:Noise Complaints: loud music from the pool area that was audible within my apartment.Pest Control: German cockroach infestations, which were addressed promptly by the management.Sanitation Concerns: An overwhelming presence of dog waste in communal areas.More significantly, I experienced:Security Issues: My vehicle was broken into, and there were incidents of mail theft.Service Quality: The valet trash service has been particularly disappointing. The aftermath often includes trash juices and broken glass on the stairs, posing risks to pets. When I raised this issue, I received what I perceived as a sarcastic response from management, asking if I had contacted the valet trash service myself, rather than addressing the problem directly.While I acknowledge the limitations of management in certain areas, the lack of initiative in resolving issues within their control was disappointing. I find myself paying for services that not only do not meet my needs but also create additional work for residents, such as having to clean up after the valet trash service.Overall, my experience here has been middling. It was neither the worst nor the best I have encountered. However, I must commend the maintenance staff for their exemplary service; they have truly excelled in their duties.This review reflects a balanced perspective on living in this community, highlighting both the positive aspects and areas needing improvement.

Cynthia is my leasing manager and she is the best! Shes great at following up in a very timely manner. I was dealing with a couple of recent issues that popped up and she worked quickly to resolve them, and did so with understanding and a great attitude. Makes my living experience all the more enjoyable!

Highly recommended! Both assistants are very kind, helpful, and Raven’s service was excellent. She answered all my questions, and she guided me very well, making sure that my process was correct, on time, and that I didn’t miss anything. As far as the apartments, I still have another month until I move in and then I can do a full review but I’m excited :)

Did a 14 month lease here and we honestly enjoyed our stay. We are considering moving back very soon! Stephanie, the manager, is great. If you need anything done quickly she’s the go to person.

So far everyone has gone ABOVE and BEYOND to get me moved in, and the community is stunning. Raven and Michael have been great so far with maintenance and answering application questions quickly!! Have had zero problems with bugs or any other issues that come with community living :)

Gate broken frequently and many vehicles have been broken into or had their wheels stolen.Pool area smells like sewage and has been that way for over two years with promises to fix that never happen.Treadmills broken for over a year with continued empty promises to fix.Poor insulation leading to very high CPS bills ($250 or more).Trying to rip me for a whole microwave with a broken handle on move out bill.The place looks good but for the price it is nowhere near worth it.

From the moment we stepped onto the Cortland Walker Ranch, we knew we were in for a treat. Our tour guide, Raven, was nothing short of exceptional. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease, setting the tone for what would be a truly memorable experience.Raven’s knowledge of the complex was impressive. She confidently answered all our questions, providing detailed and insightful responses that showcased her deep understanding and passion for the place.What stood out the most about Raven was her genuine enthusiasm. It was clear that she loved what she did, and that passion was infectious. We found ourselves hanging onto her every word, captivated by the stories she shared.The tour itself was well-organized and comprehensive. The overall experience was nothing short of a 5-star.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience living here. I had my vehicle burglarized on multiple occasions, tires stolen, and was called racial slurs at the swimming pool once. The manager at the time Kelsey Tolle, was very unprofessional about the situation and reluctant to help.Im still confused about being charged for normal wear and tear fee after that move out inspection.I really had high hopes about Cortland at Walker ranch.

This is seriously one of the BEST apartments I’ve viewed in such a long time. Raven is awesome! She helped ease my mind with the moving process from out of state. I don’t know much about the area as I’m not from here, but I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice & comfortable place to live! 10 Stars if I could!!! Thank you

Love living here! Raven, Stephanie, and the entire leasing team were amazing. We were in a bad situation and needed to move in immediately, and they worked so quickly to help us make that happen. After move in, we had a small issue with an appliance and our maintenance man was there on it very quickly and fixed it for us no problem. The staff here is amazing and the property is beautiful. We are so grateful to the Cortland Walker Ranch team for all they’ve done to help us!

Out of the 3 places I have rented during my 6 years in San Antonio, this is the best management Ive ever encountered! In my previous apartments, I would call/email/place work orders but wouldnt receive responses until I physically walked into their offices. Maintenance requests would be left for 1-2 months!Here? Thats not an issue at all. Not only does the whole team respond in a timely manner, if anything is unresolved, they make sure to follow up. At move-in, my dryer was not connected, and when I turned in my move-in form, they placed a work order on the spot when I asked about it. As I was at work, I didnt notice when it was completed, but it was fixed within that week!Stephanie, Raven, and Cynthia were a pleasure to work with too. Theyre not only capable, but very kind and accommodating. For example, when I wanted to add a garage later in my lease they let me know all the terms and conditions for it and helped me obtain one. Also, when the key wasnt available for the date I was scheduled to start using it, they fixed the prorated rate, promptly sent out a lease, and returned any balance I paid extra for. This has been the most pleasant experience and I would recommend other people to stay here.The apartment is really nice inside and the floor plan I have is perfect for 1 person! Theres plenty of bathroom counter space and I had plenty of room for a dining table and PC in the living room. The sinks are a bit shallow in the kitchen but its not an issue if you dont let them pile up. One thing is, if youre in building 16/17, you are by the highway so Id ask the team for buildings away from that area if youre a light sleeper and dont like hearing outside noises. I sleep with comfy earplugs so the airport being 7 minutes away and highway noises are not an issue. Im sure theyd accommodate to your needs if you ask!

I am updating my review 4 months after I wrote it. The pavement has gotten worse and nothing has been done by cortland. Please fix this issueI have never written a review before but had to for this. The pavement on exit of this apartment -- right after exiting the gate --- NEEDS TO BE FIXED. There is a huge drop gap between the cement and brickwork they have that is getting progressively worse to drive on. I would be happy to rate this place 5 stars as soon as it is fixed and I will wait for that or a response that it is getting fixed. Please.

Cynthia Esposito was great! She streamlined my move process to the point that I had to do very little. Shes the best.

My air conditioning went out on a holiday weekend. I was worried about not having A/C for a few days, but within 30 minutes of putting in a work order Greg was at my door to fix it. He was polite and efficient and I appreciate his hard work!

Pavement is bad, your wheels will get stolen, smells like sewer, and they charge huge fees for normal wear and tear after you move out. Not worth the price tag to live here.

I love everything about this complex! It is very clean, i feel safe, and everyone is friendly! Service requests are completed quickly and efficiently. The amazon hub lockers make picking up packages a breeze. The pool is beautiful and the gym has nice equipment. Stephanie at the leasing office is so warm and welcoming and she made the move in process stress-free! I’ve only been here a month and I have no complaints!

Cortland Walker Ranch has been my home for the past 3.5 years and I loved every second of it. I had the pleasure of working with many people in the leasing office, some who are no longer there, but any changes that were made, the transition seemed to be seamless. Everyone is friendly and personable. Ive worked recently with recently Kelsey and Stephanie and both were attentive and super helpful. Be sure to wave when you see them drive through the complex with the Cortland car! Those always make my day. :)It is a quiet and clean complex. There are great amenities and the grounds are well-maintained. Ive enjoyed the fitness center, the pool, and the study area near the pool. All of my maintenance requests were addressed timely with proper follow-up. My neighbors look out for one another. In total, Ive had no real issues living here.If you want an elevated living experience right in North Central San Antonio, look no further. Its here. (HEB, Target, Marshalls, the mall, the quarry, and the Pearl) are all within 15 minutes or less!

I’ve lived in the community for just over 2 years and I love it here! The community is very friendly and respectful, the front office staff is always welcoming, and the maintenance team has always provided great care and assistance with any and every need over my time here. Luis is one of the maintenance members and is always willing to help and does a superb job! You can tell the staff team genuinely cares about their community and home. I also enjoy the amenities and love the fact that the complex is non-smoking, and that washers and dryers are inside our living spaces.

Cortland Walker Ranch was an enjoyable experience during my two years there. The staff were friendly and the maintenance team always took care of our requests in a quick manner.I really enjoyed the pool, a lot of space and relaxing environment. I wish the club house was open on the evenings and on the weekends (only open during business hours). Plenty of parking spaces for visitors. The community seems to be more family-oriented vs. a younger crowd from what I experienced.The only issue I had was when we received our security deposit. We only received 50% of our deposit back due to it being used for professional carpet cleaning. I dont agree that this should fall on the tenant especially when carpet is normal wear and tear overtime (we left the carpet clean by the way, just not professional) Overall a great community and would recommend.

I have lived at Cortland Walker Ranch for nearly a year and I love it here! It is a quiet neighborhood, a gated community where I’ve been treated with respect and always with a smile. Every maintenance request has been handled as quickly as possible and the maintenance staff is professional and courteous. Stephanie, Zhaila, and Tyler in the office are quick to respond to any question and are always happy to see me (or at least good at pretending! 😉). I plan to stay for a good long time!

I have lived here for just over a year, and I think the employees really deserve a shoutout. Management companies can really make or break your living experience, but every single person here has been so great. My AC went out on 4th of July, and Mike, one of the maintenance men, called me and said he was off for the holiday, but would stop by anyway - within 2 hours of putting in a maintenance request on a holiday, my AC was fixed!The grounds are always well taken care of, including landscaping and the amenities. I have nothing bad to say about my experience living here.

After living at these apartments for 14 months, I highly recommend Cortland Walker Ranch. The staff is amazing, the maintenance team is AMAZING (always remembered me and it never felt like I was a burden to them,) and the amenities are great… especially the pool in the Texas heat. Every resident I met were very friendly. Definitely felt like my home away from home! If I didn’t move to a new state, I would have resigned my lease no doubt.

I highly recommend this property! So many great things to list! There is an amazing pool, and fitness center. (Which were 2 top things I was looking for.) Also they offer valet trash, washer and dryer and an Amazon hub!! It’s really a neat place!

Cortland properties are the only places I trust here in San Antonio, you truly get what you pay for. The prices reflect the community and all the updates in the units. I moved to one of their sister properties because of the better location to work. But my husband and I loved it here. Friendly neighbors, good size dog park. The maintenance and leasing office staff are professional. You wont receive this level of service at any other apartment complex. Everything about this place was worth the price!

Weve had a wonderful experience with this community! 10/10 would recommend!Having to secure an apartment so far away when our daughter was still in college was a wild ride, but the staff there was beyond helpful during our search process — superlative, quite frankly — and it made us choose this community over many others that offered discounts and incentives for her employer. The staff was honest and went out of their way to make us feel best-informed. We all felt like it was a safe place for a young woman to live alone. The service and care on move-in day, including the welcome-note from the staff on the fridge, and the few weeks of transition after that were equally as good.The location was convenient to many things. The leasing office and grounds were well-kept. The gym facilities and the pool area were also clean and well-maintained and she enjoyed using them.The food trucks and summer activities helped her feel involved when she was new to the area. The one maintenance request she had in her time there was handled promptly and well. She has friends who are considering moving here when their leases are up.When her position was eliminated due to Covid cutbacks and we had to look at lease-termination, the staff was very helpful and communicated clearly and expediently. Were truly sad to be leaving San Antonio after just a year here, especially for reasons beyond our control, but we can definitely say wed lease here again!

Stephanie and her staff are extremely professional and a pleasure to be around. If you move here you will be pleased to see how friendly and eager they are to make their residents feel at home. I would give them an A1 rating in a heartbeat. I love being a part of Cortland Walker Ranch community. This is what home feels like. They even offer AT&T fiber which is truly reliable and you’re not sharing your bandwidth with your neighbors like other competitors.

A friend from work recommended this complex and I’m so happy she did! The leasing agent Lori helped me through the whole process and made it so easy to choose walker ranch as my future home! From the application process to the move in it was a great experience. She was not there the day I moved in but Kelsey gave me the keys and picked up where Lori left off and answered all my last minute questions. While I was there I met Stacy and the new property manager Daisy who introduced themselves and made me feel welcome right away, I thought that was pretty cool! Mike from the Maintenance staff walked my apt with me to make sure it was to my satisfaction(which was a first for me). I even got a follow up survey after my move in to make sure I was taking care of!

Mike was great! I put in a service request because AC was not cooling. Mike had already left the property for the day and made it a point to turn around and come back to address the service request. He fixed it in under 30 mins and was very nice. This was very helpful especially in this San Antonio, TX heat. Mike is AWESOME and fixed the service request in no time with no problem.

Recently moved to San Antonio and this is my first apartment experience. I have to say my expectations have been blown out of the water. Lots of space and grass makes it not feel cramped, and its always lovely to see people out and about when taking the dog for a walk. The staff are always warm and happy to help as well. New to San Antonio. First apartment in years so I was very nervous. Turns out I made a great choice. I absolutely love it! The staff and leasing agents are awesome and personable. It is quiet and has everything you need even the people that live here are awesome. The leasing agents Work awesome together and keep it like a family feel. The amenities are always clean and working, you cant beat the location and the people. I definitely know I can go to anyone in the office with any questions and they will make sure and have or find the answer. 5 Stars all the way!

The location is super central and convenient and it’s the PERFECT place for pet owners. The dog park is amazing and full of happy/friendly pets. The manager Daisy is always helpful and the whole team is great at communicating. Sad to be leaving but I have enjoyed my home here! Definitely check this place out. You won’t regret it!

While he was working, he helped answer a lot of my questions. This made the apartment complex a competitor in my decision making. Seeing how clean the pool is I’m sure the maintenance team is not only approachable and friendly, but also efficient in their work! Wonderful complex, but parking has become a nightmare. I wish management would fix this issue making visitors park in a designated area. Also, the front gate is constantly broken resulting in high number of vehicle burglaries.

Were on our second lease and love living in this community.Unfortunately have only really gotten to know Lori, but shes awesome.Maintenance is always quick to respond and solve issues, which there really arent many.Amenities are nice too. My only complain would be about the residents speeding through the complex despite the speed bumps.Especially at the first turn after the gate. Would love a stop sign there, as no one looks to see if someone is crossing. Can be very nerve racking with a dog.All in all, great place to live.

I love my complex so much. The location is great! It is so central to the north side of town and still a quick drive to down town/ pearl. I love the landscaping! The amenities are great and the walk through the property is so nice. Neighbors are friendly and the staff is wonderful. I truly enjoy living here and glad I found this hidden gem.

Cortland Walker Ranch has been a place I’ve been looking to call home for a couple months now as I’ve been looking to move from my current location. Kelsey has been the perfect person to work with me throughout this process, she’s so sweet & quickly responds to each and every silly question I have had. Can’t wait into move in date!

Lived here twice. First apartment was good but expensive. Both the hubs and I got better jobs and decided to move back and are so happy we did! The front office remembered us and were incredibly helpful, specifically Kelsey! We really do love this community ❤❤❤

These Apartments are brilliant!Great aesthetics, design, and great management.I would strongly recommend these apartment if you care for modern design and want a pet friendly place. There are many places to walk and socialize your dog, and this great dog park with training/play platforms and toys.Ive never really liked an apartment enough to write a positive review but this has to be one of the best ones in the area and deserves it. The maintenance staff gets to my requests quickly without inconvenience, I couldnt recommend them more.

Ive called this place home for 4 years. I find the staff and management to be very helpful whenever I needed them and could always reach out in person, by phone or by email. (I must say, they are awesome and a huge improvement for the original management company that ran the complex when I first moved in). I appreciate the community events that they host for us to get know fellow residents and the office staff. The events were really a nice way to show that we were appreciated as residents. For Pet Owners, this was by far the best option for me when looking for a pet-friendly complex and the private yard was by far the largest Ive seen at an apartment (thats if you can even find a yard elsewhere)! This definitely made life so much easier and I never had to worry about cutting my own grass. The garages are extra spacious and fit up to a large SUV with plenty of extra space for storage. I would highly recommend The Park at West Ave to others.

I have been touring potential apartment complexes throughout the city for a 1 bedroom unit, I visited Cortland a little over a week ago just to see what it was about and i will say that this is definitely at the top of my list of choices. The model was beautiful and I absolutely fell in love with the clubhouse and pool area, just an amazing complex and community. Stacey C. was such an amazing tour guide, very friendly, and I could really tell that she cared about my needs for a potential apartment, even though i told her i was still going to look around at other apartments. It seemed like everyone in the community knew her personally as while we were out touring, she exchanged numerous smiles and waves from other tenants, it makes me happy to see that even after people signed the dotted line the leasing agents are still engaged with their tenants.

Its a great place. But there is frequently cars being left on BLOCKS!!!! Its actually very sad. We have not yet finished out our year lease and have already experienced someone getting into our truck, and seeing almost every month a car without tires. Its way to many times and the apartments have not done anything. They wash their hands.

The quality and friendliness of the maintenance staff is 80% why we have stayed here almost four years now. Besides the convenient location and well kept property. Front office is always helpful as well but I have never in the past 7 years of living in different parts of SA, had SUCH diligent hard working maintenance. They deserve many many thanks.

My wife and I are moving back to SA soon and have been apartment hunting. Not always have we’ve been with good representatives but Paige was more than willing to go out of her way and answer any questions we had!

Kelsey is the absolute best. The husband and I have lived in a lot of different places but she really exceeded our expectations. She even brought us a gift when our baby was born. So sweet!!!!

The office staff is so helpful and Maintenance staff here goes above and beyond .They are under new management and I hear they are remodeling the clubhouse which I cant wait to see and enjoy with friends. They were super nice and helpful during the Great Freeze™ of 2021, keeping us updated and providing suitable solutions while they were doing repairs. This has to be one of the best properties that I have toured. Not only has amazing floor plans they have an amazing helpful staff. Stephanie and Zhaila walk me through what should have been a complicated process but They made it easy. They are awesome

So far experience has been mixed, I will update after 30days, than do a 60day. Initial process was bit of a hindrance but in the end got into apartments. The place itself is gated, has community pool & clubhouse & they do for most part Match online photos. The community itself however is a little more suspicious & less friendly than I prefer. I wouldn’t even mention it , if it wasn’t so odd how blatantly I’ve been stared at like a new zoo animal even just standing at my mailbox. I’ve heard of southern charm but it’s more like southern frost. Simple hello, good mornings interactions with community including staff members have been met with cold responses & dismissive stares & nonreply. I can honestly say I’ve only been greeted by 2 staff members in a friendly manner All others just even around the community not at the office have been glacier in their manners. Makes one feel a little uncomfortable to live here but hopefully that wears off or isn’t a sign of what to expect in the future.

I have been living here for 4 years and I have no plans on moving anytime soon! The property just got taken over and re-vamped and it is even better than it was before. The staff is extremely polite and helpful and they routinely have resident functions to make it easier to meet your neighbors. Cortland Walker Ranch is a great community to choose as your home!

I have been apartment hunting for some time now and have had many experiences with leasing staff/agents. I was recently at The Park@West and was very impressed with this complex. Very very nice, and extremely friendly residents as we toured the complex. Ms. Daisey Vega was extremely professional and informational. She supplied me with all information necessary and took the time to answer all my questions. Ms. Vega is the perfect example of what every Leasing Agent should be; happy about their job!!! You can tell she takes pride in her position. I would definitely recommend this complex and their professional , caring staff.

I wish i could give 0 stars. I went and seen the ones at TPC and was so impressed with the tour and customer service.Then I went in to look at an apartment at Cortland Walker Ranch... Zyla was less than helpful. It was almost like she didnt want me to live there. I asked about open apartments and basically got shutdown before I could even look. Didnt offer a tour or anything. Literally coulda signed right then and there but her fd up attitude and lack of customer service just, no thanks.. ill go elsewhere.

Hands down the best apartment complex in San Antonio! The front staff is friendly and attentive. Any questions or concerns I have gets immediate attention and taken care of. The maintenance team is quick and efficient. I also have a 2 year old and feeling safe and comfortable is very important to us. I have never felt safer! There is an off duty cop that patrols every now and then ensuring the safety of residents. I would recommend these apartments to anyone!

From the floorplan options, to the community environment, to the ambiance of the complex this place is a must see! Any and every single question I had was answered promptly and thoroughly by Zhaila and I couldn’t be happier with the help she offered me. Anyone looking in this area needs to hop on a lease, you won’t regret it - no other complex that I was apartment-shopping for showed this amount of kindness, it took the stress off knowing she was there to answer all my questions!

I lived here for 2 years before I had to relocate to another city for work. The staff were extremely helpful and curteous in all situations and really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at home. The amenities are well kept and the pool is great for summer or football watching parties. The grills are gas fired and typically available whenever you want. The exercise room is more than enough and saved me $36 a month in gym membership fees and was well kept with free weights and plenty of treadmills. If I ever move back to San Antonio Ill be giving them a call to see if there are any available apartments.

This property is really awesome. The team there is so professional and really make you feel important. The maintenance manager Mike and his team keep the place looking awesome and helping out anyway they can!

I love leasing at this community! Property shows very well and one of the few places youll find townhomes with attached garages and fenced in yards! From the moment I leased my townhouse, the staff have been nothing but helpful and accommodating. The girls are super sweet to both me and my little daughter. We love going in and grabbing some hot chocolate and marshmallows. As for the complex and the townhouse, it’s beautiful and perfect for us.

Such a great place to live!!!! I have lived in several apartments in my time and the park at west ave has been by far my best experience thus far. The amenities in an of itself are well worth the cost. The community interaction as well as the staffs constant efforts to be involved in the community are a very warm welcome in an otherwise distant society. As theres problems with any home, the park has its share of these. However, between the accommodating office as well as the johnny on the spot maintenance crew, no problem comes without a swift solution. Thank you sincerely as possible for all your efforts and positive attitudes in making my experience here one that i can be ecstatic and proud of. Love pulling in the almost majestic entrance when I come home from my day knowing that this is my home where I can relax until the next day.

Moved in a couple of months ago and I couldnt be happier! The apartment is beautiful, amenities are endless, the move-in special was a bargain, and the people that work here rock. Any issues I have are dealt with swiftly and the staff sincerely cares about you here. Grateful to live in such a gem of a community.

This is the best apartment complex in the suburbs of San Antonio. The staff are professional, the property is clean, and I personally didn’t experience any disturbances during my time at the apartment.

I recently toured this property. I was very excited and had high hopes. The staff were very professional. Once we went to tour an apartment the hallway had peeling pant off the walls and the apartment just looked very dirty and not cleaned in awhile. Not the place for me(: I hope they can fix up the homes they show future excited residents!

I lived here for 9 months and would recommend it.Pros:- Staff is very nice and friendly. Whenever I had a maintenance issue they always resolved it within a few days or a reasonable amount of time for the severity of the issue. Once I had a fire alarm that wouldnt stop going off, and I couldnt reach the ceiling to unplug it. The office person I called was so nice, she said maintenance couldnt come at that exact moment so she drove over with a ladder right away to help me.- Staff tries to plan fun events and gets food trucks to come to the property. Most people seem to be in their 20s-30s.- Property is generally clean, trash bins are not overflowing or anything like that.- Good location, safe area, 5 minute drive to Walmart/pharmacy/restaurants.Cons:- You WILL hear planes. For example, if Im on a Zoom call, others will notice the planes. If youre a light sleeper, I think they could wake you up.- Its also really noisy when its windy, not sure why. Ive woken up in the middle of the night because of the wind noise (it sounds like racecars?) and Ive slept through tornado sirens before.- Walls are a bit thin, though not too bad. My former upstairs neighbors had a dog and I could often hear them barking, running around, and whenever they vacuumed.Overall, I enjoyed living here. I didnt mind the noise sometimes though people sensitive to that might want to take it into account.

Been here a year and half and have nothing negative to say! The office staff is super friendly, (especially Kelsey!) and any small maintenance issues we’ve had have been resolved quickly. Quiet, chill complex and the apartments are nice.

Great place to live and highly recommend it!Old review:I have lived here for fifteen months and stayed when I renewed my lease because of the many friendships I have built with other residents in the complex. I choose to move to this complex originally because it was close to where I work, was brand new, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Since I have lived here the entire front staff with the exception of one has moved on to other properties. The complex had events in the past. They no longer have events for residents to meet each other but hopefully will continue soon. The property management makes and changes rules without consulting residents on a whim. The latest information I got was a letter at my door informing me that the community clubhouse would be closed for July 4th and only open during the hours of the main office. The main office closes at 6pm with the exception of Tuesday which is also very inconvenient. I was told a package system was set up so I would receive an email when mail arrived...also never happened. I will stay here if my friends do but would not recommend this place to anyone searching for a place to live. The value is not high. This is true as of 6/24/2015 so hopefully will change in the future for the better. The maintenance staff is phenomenal. Any issue I have had has been fixed within the hour. Much better than I expected.

I just received an E-mail from the community staff stating that they will be transitioning into a smoke and vape free community as of January 1st, 2020. As a resident here I commend the property management staff for this policy change and for encouraging those living here to lead healthier lives. As a medical professional Im quite pleased and honestly excited.Courtland Walker Ranch is obviously committed to its residents health and to keeping the community clean. Im sure it will come with the usual push back and complaints but this policy is both bold and healthy. Thanks for keeping our community safe, the property nice and the well-being of our community members at the top of your priority list.

I loved here for 2-3 years and the staff is amazing. Kelsi became a friend of mine and she always has helped me with any and the many issues I had. They throw several resident get togethers, have volleyball, a nice pool and pool house and the community was nice. The location was pretty good, unless you had an apartment that bordered Wurzbach parkway then it was a little noisy but not awful (only when motorcycles went by). There’s a Walmart one intersection down, two HEB within a mile, close to 281, super close to a few parks and pretty close to the airport. Overall, a great place to live. I moved out to be closer to work.

Simply put, just amazing. The community is absolutely perfect, amazing staff and knowledgable and super friendly leasing team. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

The front office is so helpful and nice! Maintenance always comes when I need things fixed in a timely manner and is very professional. The community is mostly quiet and has a lot of fun things planned, which is awesome!

Not a place I’d recommend. Only one staffer in the office is pleasant and reliable, and her hands are basically tied when it comes to decision making. If they can squeeze an extra dollar out of you, they will. They will charge you for anything and everything when you move out ,making it up as they go along. Very poor business operation. Too bad, because the property is an 8 out of 10.... not bad for the locale.

I have lived here since February and it has been a great experience. Any help that I need, i have recieved, even when the front office is closed. Be it maintenance help on a pipe issue or problem with a key. They are quick to assist me when and if there is an issue. The place is always clean and looks immaculate. Even when some of the residents have a party at the pool and trash it, they take care of it and make sure to address the issue promptly. Which is helpful. Ive lived places where residents make a mess and dont take care of it, and the complex does nothing. The good thing about living here is that they do address the issues quickly and in a respectful manner making sure it doesnt happen again.Reno up front has been helpful since day 1 when I moved in and showing me the complex. Kelsey in the office has assisted with me changing apartments within the complex and that was a super smooth transition. Sarah the manager has also been extremely helpful in letting me host events for the complex as Im a State Farm agent around the corner. There is also Lori and Stephanie up front who have been helpful with everything I have asked for. The maintenance guys are very helpful as well. If I see them as I drive in or out I make sure to always wave or something. Good people.The place itself is a little costly, however like when you buy a TV. You aim for a Samsung or a Sony. Not a Mitsubishi or Sanyo. You pay for what you get and this place is worth it. Plus its quiet. Cant complain about a clean, well taken care of, well run, and peaceful place to live.

I have had no issues so far since living here. I accepted a job here in San Antonio and was moving from Austin. I had a small window to find a place and move in before my start date and the complex was able to get my lease approved and keys to me that same day. Kayla who works in the office really came though to ensure that I left with keys in hand that same day. Maintenance is very fast in completing service requests and the location is excellent. Not a lot of traffic even with it being next to 1502. Will eventually upgrade to a townhome in the future but the floor plan for the 1 bedroom was adequate and has a lot of cabinet space in the kitchen. Highly recommend this complex.

I’ve lived at Cortland Walker Ranch for several years and have always had a positive experience. Their team members are easy to work with , professional, flexible and friendly; especially their maintenance crew. The property is conveniently located in an area where an array of services, parks , retail and entertainment are nearby. There’s also plenty of access to several highways .

I came from living in NYC MANHATTAN to living here and I thought San Antonio rents were going to be lower. I survived two years paying $2,000 rent in town house. I could see this place get a better price point. way to expensive for a place of this kind. NO benifits and the was pool too small, the work out area two small. Also my backyard grass was all weeds when I left. They never check or serviced my ac units, as before company did. I saw They never clean my porch after they mowed the lawn In back yard. ALSO PEOPLE DRIVE TO FAST AND DANGEROUS INTERSECTION AFTER GETTING IN GATE. I bought a house after all. The staff in the front are very rude and need more customer service skillsAlso please have a check list for residents when trying to get security deposit. They took my 300 for themselves. When I rented a apt in NYC I got a check list and walk through with staff so I could pay 💰 for my mistakes. I would not recommend to any one this place until they correct there problems. Total disaster.I wish there previous owners where here. They were better

One of the guys in Maintenance, Adam, has been incredibly helpful with keeping the hallways clean and clear. Power washing is tough stuff but I appreciate all the efforts made to keep things looking great.

**Again i ran into Adam Aguerro and he was the nicest person!! He was cleaning trash up to make sure the grounds kept lookimg great! **They were all extremely nice, especially Adam Aguerro! I have been looking for an apartment for a few weeks now, and after scheduling a tour with Ryan, I can say that this apartment is at the top of my list! The amenities, safety, and cleanliness are wonderful, not to mention how helpful Ryan was and I never felt rushed to finish the tour sooner than I wanted.

I LOVE these apartments! I have never had an issue, if theres something that needs to be fixed, they take care of it right away. No issues with water, or with the complex being messy or unclean. For any girl that plans to live here by yourself, youll feel super safe! For those negative reviews complaining about the airplanes being too loud, um how is that the apartments fault? Haha do you want them to stop airplanes from flying by? Hahah personally it doesnt bother me, and I live in the 3rd floor. Its not a big deal and its not even loud. I just renewed my lease and couldnt be happier! :)

So, I currently live here and am discovering that this place is just very poorly managed...bottom line. I recently relocated out to SA for work and wasnt given a lot of time to locate an apartment so, I settled for this place due to location, amenities, and price and regret it every day. Below are my points for why I do not recommend living here if you dont have to:1. The ladies in the front office (except Stephanie) are all incredibly incompetent and lazy. Their website says they close at 6 on Sunday but, they always leave at 5. During the week they always lock up and leave anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes before actual close, which is incredibly inconvenient seeing as most people dont get home until then so, now we cant pick up any packages. And They always seem so bothered when you come in to pick up a package and they spend their time playing on their cell phones.2. When you go in to view an apartment you will be told the gym is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week...complete and total LIE!! They gym is never opened before 10 am even on weekends and it closes randomly. For example, I wanted to get a late work out in and mind you it was only 7:30 at night and the entire clubhouse was locked up! Seriously? They care more about what conveniences them rather than the people that actually pay to live here. The people that pay their checks.3. The complex is incredibly unsafe from a driving standpoint. There arent any stop signs, numerous sharp turns and blind spots. Plus, the lighting at night is so bad that if youre driving through you cant see someone walking their dog or jogging until youre about to hit them and people still drive 20-25 mph around here and you will get honked at if youre going 15 or below. Unbelievable.4. For the most part, not everyone, but most people that live here are just rude. Its not fun having loud abnoxious neighbors.5. Zero communication to tenants. I used to live at a Camden property (loved it!!) and they always did community events and had monthly flyers for things going on around the community. For the example, Zumba classes in the gym, food trucks outside the leasing office every Wednesday, movie nights in the club house, brunch on the first Sunday of every month with champagne mimosas...now thats good management! And why didnt I live at a Camden property again? They dont have any in SA with good locations for me personally because, I looked there first.Do nice things for your tenants...we do pay to live here. And repainting the curbs and parking lines means nothing! They dont need repainting. You need better lighting outside throughout the complex, clean up the nasty dirty growing spider webs all over the stairwells, put trash cans around the property, put up stop signs, and figure out how to eliminate blind spots. Chances are management will never read this but, sheesh I could run this place better in my sleep.I work in customer service and Ive worked in hospitality and I know what it means to make your customers happy...this place doesnt know the first thing about customer service. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

First of all, may I say that Tyler really helped me out with all the questions and concerns that I have. Very knowledgeable guy and patient with me, would most definitely go back to him if I ever need anything. In case anyone needs to talk to someone ask for Tyler.!!

I have a friend that lives at the ranch. Love the pool and all the amenities. Adam does a great job keeping the pool clean and everything nice and trimmed.

I moved in to this place around July 2015 (if memory serves me correctly). Since the place was fairly new it was nice despite the incompetence office staff / management. Since I moved in the place it has continuously and continues to go down hill. The management gets worse and worse. Talking to neighbors everyone seems to have some nightmare story about the office staff. The clubhouse becomes more restricted all the time and will soon be to the point of unusable.Around November / December I received a notice on my door stating that they were putting in speed bumps. I have issues with my neck and back and can not deal with speed bumps on a daily bases as it through me out of alignment and effect my ability to work and sleep. I had to move. I gave notice to the office staff that I would be relocating due to the change in living conditions that they created. They did not seem to care at all they just went right to rambling on how if I broke my leases it would cost a fortune. I told them that this is consider a disability and they had to accommodate me they refused to even discuss the matter.I finally gave up and just left after my 30 day notice was fulfilled. A few months after leaving I received a bill for over $7,000 stating that I had skipped out. I guess that some term they use to screw people over. I looked into it, they claimed that I did not pay my final months rent (which I did by the way). However after checking my bank accounts I saw that they never cashed the check. This means that they either lost it or purposely withheld it or burned it so they could try to get some insane amount of money out of me.I have now had to hire a lawyer to deal with this and waiting to see where it goes. I am expecting that giving the general attitude of the management and office staff that this will end up in court for sure. which will end up costing me a few thousand dollars. The bottom line is never rent from this place it looks nice but in the end the management is just plain incompetent and ruins the whole experience.In addition to all this there is now a freeway type deal behind the apartments if you are located anywhere near it you hear the traffic all night long. So much for the double pain windows that also leak cold air into the apartment all night long. In addition to that the airplanes fly directly over all day long and at very low altitudes so you also get to deal with that as well. Hope one of them never decides to do a fuel drop or loose an engine.

If there was more stars I would add them.....Daisy Salazar is a great human being, manager, extremely professional in what she does. Just renewed my lease but for sure I will be contacting her to get my new home at this property.

Hello google viewers. My roommate and I are looking for a new apartment and this happened to be one of the locations we checked out. On Friday June 22nd we stopped in, the young woman that was there was very nice answering our questions, sadly I did not catch her name. My roommate and I decided that we would not likely rent from here as though the young lady was nice the air about the place seems to be 20 something, posh and a bit stuck up. Im about in my mid thirties right now and I just didnt feel that if I lived here the atmosphere would be of respect. I would recommend checking them out ad the place is really nice very pretty and all but I hope that the young twenty something know it all attitude doesnt effect your choice like it did mine.

Zhaila was really helpful and informative they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of , Kelsey, Tyler and Stephanie were good to me as well. I moved in and I’m happy with my new home

Came in for a tour to help my family member who is relocating to the area find a place to live. We are unfamilar with the area as we are relocating from DFW. Tyler was very knowledgable and easy to talk to, he was very helpful and made the apartment search process much less intimidating.

Tbh it was an okay place to live. Buuuuut dogs constantly bark, with no hope of the management stepping In. amenities were closed a lot of the times!!! And when I finally did leave, they charged me over 400 dollars for Cleaning fees. I want it noted that I paid b4 all this, a 100 in cleaning fees, and than the send a picture of a rug not even attempt to be cleaned and say they can’t do anything about it. Cheap!!! As well as changed my move out reason to COVID 19, which I never mentioned, so they would get money. So In short, very poorly Managed, and hidden fees. Would recommend NOT, I repeat NOT living in a Cortland community, as I will never do again.

Great place to live if you want your rims stolen, and nothing done about it. 3 months have gone by, and no action has been taken. For the time I was there, there were 2 other cases of tire theft. 2 Trucks.

My husband and I have been living here for a year now, and we absolutely love it! It’s perfectly located and the office staff is awesome, but my personal favorite is Stacey! She’s so friendly and helped my husband and I out, personally! Thank you so much, Stacey!

Everything is awesome and would give 5 stars, but there are these new random curbs placed about 25 yards apart throughout the entire complex. I got a parking ticket for trying to park at one, and afterwards have decided to just drive over them, but now I have a bald spot on my crown from repeatedly bumping my head on my car ceiling. Great amenities and everything else, but as we live on the back side of the complex, we will not be renewing our lease because of the curbs in the middle of the road.

I have lived in the Park at West Ave townhomes for almost 1 year now and every encounter I have had with the community family (staff) has been exceptionally pleasant. I call them family because that is how they interact with me. They never pass and not wave nor smile. They are NOT your typical community staff. If I have a maintenance issue they respond extremely quickly and maintain communication on w/o status. When I moved into the community everyone introduced themselves to me and explained their role within the community. With that being said I have to mention the few that have made the greatest impression on me. Sarah Espinoza, Reno Uballe, Mike & Louis (maint). I have had nothing but exceptional encounters with each and every one of them on multiple occasions. If your looking for a community that cares then this is the one for you👍🏼

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Cortland Walker Ranch and I was extremely impressed, the property is absolutely stunning. The staff was extremely professional and helpful, the property manager Daisy Salazar made me feel at home even before I agreed to make Cortland Walker Ranch my home.

What we noticed riding to the back in our car versus driving in a small golf cart is that the complex cut some corners with safety of the complex. Unless you give full faith into a random stranger not being distracted,tired or careless driver two cars can not enter/exit the front gate without being uncomfortably close the same applies for the first few turns including a 3 way intersecting road where theres a dumpster/wall providing a blind spot to two of the drivers!! To top this cars cars are going 15-20 driving around as they is a large steep hill. we also had noticed there were some dogs not on leashes and there was dog mess on the grass near where we parked to walk around. this place needs to get serious if it wants people like us to sign a lease

I managed to take a look at the amenities and the complex itself and was very impressed. I am DEFINITELY considering getting a lease here when mine expires. The staff was very helpful and Ryan was able to answer any questions I had!

Not enough parking for residents, especially with the price of rent. I wouldnt recommend living here unless homelessness is your only option. Enjoy expensive rent and looking for parking. Leasing office recommends buying a covered parking spot or garage. Dont move in here, Indian Hollow is next door and probably has better parking. Glad to be moving on.

This complex has very nice amenities and is in a great location. When I toured the property, I was excited to live at this complex, but found out the floor plan I wanted was not available. Then a few weeks later, I got a call that one unit came available and it would be handled on a first come, first served basis because some others were also showing interest in the same floor plan. I literally hung up the phone and went directly to my computer to submit my application before anyone else, paid my fees in full, and figured I was good to go. To make sure everything was okay, I paid a visit in person the next morning. The leasing agent that gave me a tour didnt remember me at all, and I found it odd that I was being treated like a nuisance. Well, come to find out, someone else was trying to submit an application at the same time for the same unit. I quickly got the very strong impression that this had never happened before and they had no idea what to do. At the end of our meeting, I was assured that my application was submitted into the system first, so the unit was on hold in my name (hence first come, first served).Fast forward a day or two. The front office staff calls me to say some of the features in this unit were not what I expected. I made it clear I was disappointed by this, but it wasnt a deal breaker and Id like to move forward anyway. I was told there was no reason my application wouldnt be approved in the next day or two, and that was the last step. I was feeling great.The next morning rolls around and I get another call from the leasing agent. She tells me they decided to give that unit away to someone else in hopes that another unit closer to our preferences comes available. I was dumbfounded; at that point, I was out $600 in application fees and a security deposit for a unit that was literally given away right out from underneath my feet - against what I said literally the day before! They, like any other complex, cant guarantee that someone else will move out. Given all the trouble and negative circumstances, I ultimately decided to withdraw my application before I was stuck with no unit at all. Not to mention I am very dissatisfied with the treatment I have received. To add insult to injury, the complex isnt sure yet if they will refund my fees completely.Long story, short? Untrustworthy (and unfriendly) front office staff, extremely unclear application handling, and highly questionable ethics. I love the property itself, but I definitely do not recommend this propertys staff. Steer clear if youre a prospective renter.

My wife and I moved from Delaware to San Antonio Texas. We were blessed to find a place we can call it home. Staff is professional and attended, I want to give a big shout out to our leasing agent Stacy give me the whole process Smooth. Best place to live San Antonio

The staff is nice until you sign the lease. The walls are paper thin and many of the apartment are infested with roaches and silver fish. Be sure to lock you cars too. There is drug dealer living in the complex and the a lot of strange people come and go.

Great property - the staff is personable and maintenance is timely when needed. I have lived here for almost 3 years and really enjoy it. The dog park is large and everyone is really friendly!

An example of “location, location, location” but nothing else. The park across the highway and the convenience of being near the highway is about what sums up the benefits of living here. I have never met a more lazy and insulting staff than the people here at Cortland Walker Ranch property and I’ve lived in apartments in states from Washington to Texas.The only saving grace is their service/maintenance team, but boy do they have their work cut out for them with these shoddily-designed and poorly-built units, streets, and garages.Do not live here if you have other options. You will pay your rent each month thinking of how life would be better in other properties that respect you, don’t force you to pay for contracted services, and are built better.

Had a great tour with Paige, she was very friendly, has an awesome personality and covered everything in the unit.

Just had a phone conversation with Sarah, and she was on point! Answered all my questions and was extremely helpful! If anybody from corporate reads this, give her a raise! She is an asset, I speak from apartment management experience.
