I recently had the pleasure of working with Kim at Cypress Stone Oak Luxury Apartments, and I cannot recommend her enough. From the moment I walked in, Kim made the entire leasing process seamless and stress-free. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the property but also genuinely attentive to individual needs, ensuring I found the perfect unit.Kim’s warm and friendly personality made me feel right at home, and she went above and beyond to answer all my questions and provide helpful insights about the community and surrounding area. Her professionalism and dedication to excellent service truly set her apart. If you’re considering making Cypress Stone Oak your home, do yourself a favor and ask for Kim. She’ll make the entire experience enjoyable and efficient. Thank you, Kim, for your hard work and exceptional service!
I moved from out of state. Kim answered all of my questions and was patient with my decision making. I did everything online or by text and it was pretty seamless. The move-in process was smooth. The place seems well maintained and manicured. I’m a happy camper.
Cassie is absolutely amazing. I’ve never seen anyone with such professionalism. The way she handles every residence needs and concerns is amazing. I’m in awe of her compassion and concern for others. She truly makes Cypress at Stone Oak a wonderful place to live. As long as she’s working here, I plan to stay here. I highly recommend moving to this luxury apartment complex.
I was lied to about multiple things when I signed my lease. I was told it would be professionally cleaned before I moved in, and there was still dirt and mold everywhere on the baseboards. I can’t park near my apartment, Anytime I put in a maintenance request. They told me nothing was wrong and never fix the issue. I put in multiple noise complaints about my upstairs neighbors, and they’ve done nothing to address the issue. My neighbors told their kids to jump louder the last time. I asked them to be quieter. The mail center has lost multiple packages of mine the delivery Service shows pictures of them dropping it off in the mail center when I go to pick it up it’s not there. Any apartment complex tells me to reach out to the mail center.
I lived at Cypress (formerly known as Marquis at Stone Oak) with a roommate. Four months before our lease ended, I properly removed myself from the lease by completing a roommate removal addendum. Due to the office losing my initial paperwork, I had to complete this process twice. At the time of my removal, all rent payments were current and the unit was in good condition. Additionally, my former roommate renewed the lease and I was not included in that renewal.A year later, I applied for a new apartment and paid the application fee. I was then informed that my previous roommate had left an outstanding balance, which prevented my applications approval - despite them being unable to report on my credit because of the completed addendum. The office stated they could not assist further but promised to refund my application fee via check. Unfortunately, I never received the promised refund, and my follow-up emails to the office manager, Sybil, went unanswered.Luckily, I am not a needy tenant but I am very disappointed in the office staff that were never available to answer the phones, lost paper work and then failed to send my refund check for my $200 application fee. I do not recommend renting from Cypress especially with many other apt options in the area with responsive staff and beautiful apts.
I moved from South Texas to San Antonio for a job and I came to Cypress On Stone Oak Apartments and Cassie showed me around the place. She was so welcoming. She got me into a really nice apartment overseen the golf course and they worked with me trying to get me in as soon as possible and anytime I have a problem I call and Cassie‘s ride on it. It’s a great apartment complex.
Don’t move here, this place is a total dump. We had one of the garden homes and besides the obvious cosmetic repairs (broken window valences, moldy shower seals, scratched up paint and drywall, loose patio railing, disconnected pipe fittings, outdated everything) our garage became completely unusable shortly after we moved in. You can see the progression in the photos. After multiple repair requests management failed to do anything and were completely unbothered.Gym doors never locked, entry gates never worked, cars abandoned in the parking lot, pool was always dirty. When we went to break our lease, assuming we would have to pay a couple months rent, management told us we had to pay the entire years rent including utilities! This is illegal so we hired a lawyer and they are handling it, we discovered a few of our neighbors are having similar issues and hired lawyers as well.If you go through the good reviews you’ll notice none of them actually live here and they are just reviewing their tour experience.
I’ve had an amazing experience at Cypress at Stone Oak Apartments! The property is incredibly well-maintained, with immaculate grounds that make it a pleasure to come home every day. The leasing office is spotless and welcoming, reflecting the high standards of the entire community. One of the highlights is definitely the breathtaking view of the golf course—it’s peaceful and adds a touch of luxury to daily life. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a clean, well-kept environment with scenic views.
I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet the Leasing agent Jaden here at Cypress! My touring was amazing to where I’d love to lease at this property for my future home! Jaden you did wonderful please continue to give that smile and enjoy what you do because it shows!!!!
I have lived here a little over 6 months, great place great amenities, definitely great gym and outdoor spaces. Office staff is easy to deal with, Cassi always is ready and willing to help out and take care of any issues, professional and courteous.
I toured with Cassi and Jaden. They were very knowledgeable of the property and the nicest people you will ever meet. I loved how spacious the unit was and the property was very well maintained. If you’re looking for an apartment go see them. They will definitely take care of you!
Cassie is amazing! She is transparent and understanding. She will answer any concerns you have and will help you find a place that fits your needs. The community is beautiful!Check them out.
Maintenance issues:URGENT REQUEST for apartment maintenance. THIS IS THE 3RD ATTEMPT SINCE JULY. There is a gas leak originating from the boiler located on the balcony, and the gas is seeping into the bedroom adjacent to the boiler. It has been over 2 months, and the leak is getting worse. This is a serious safety concern for us. Again, this is the third time we have been reporting this issue. The first report was made on July 9th, and during the visit, the technician mentioned it was a minor leak, but the problem persists. We have been living in this apartment since 2021 and have not encountered this issue before. We request that the leak be repaired as soon as possible to ensure our safety and well-being. I have taken military leave (PTO) from work to stay home and hopefully communicate this issue better. Since the urgency or seriousness seems lost in translation when done thorough this app. Please contact me as soon as you can. Today is September 5th.***Currently leaving here since 2021. DO NOT MOVE HERE.here is a copy and paste from the latest issues:Good evening,This is the 3rd email and still not an update on the status of the gate.1st email was sent on April 13th, 2nd email of May 1st and 3rd email today May 16th.This is unacceptable on a luxury apartment complex and as stated earlier, Homelessness and crime has increased in the area and having an operational gate could be a deterrent. or have you placed any other form of policing?Do you have an estimated date of when will the gate will be operational again? It has been down for more than a month.Any updates will be appreciated.Roberto
My mailbox key was getting stuck and it was very annoying, I made a comment to Kelsey about it and in a matter of minutes she got me another key!I asked her for information about my lease agreement and she responded immediately!Definitely shes a keeper, very attentive and respectful!
The buildings all smell terrible. Each building has its own unique nasty smell. Dog urine, cigarette smoke, must, mold, desperately deployed air freshener to mask odors, etc. building 5 smells particularly like cigarette smoke. I would say this the building that they house the smoking tenants in but unfortunately a non smoker friend of mine had to live in this building.Pool is constantly green and looks unsafe to swim in. The hot tub water caused your clothes to smell like rotten milk the day after you used it ( never did that again ). Trash is left strewn about the pool deck. There was one maintenance man who I felt took his job seriously and would actively work to try to resolve these things. However he is one of a group and unfortunately he could not keep up with it by himself. In fact, this maintenance man told me that this complex is used as a training center for the management company so many techs are sent from around the country to train here. This was later confirmed as I asked one of the maintenance men and he said that is true and that he himself was training here.Cypress at Stone oak will ensure you do NOT see a penny of your “security” deposit back. They will nickel and dime you until your entire deposit amount conveniently equal $0.00. Please read other reviews on google as they say the exact same thing. The 5 star reviews on these platforms are paid reviews. We were asked to give a 5 star review when we signed up for the complex. The giftcard/credit sounded nice but how can I morally give an apartment complex a 5 star review before I have ever even lived in the place? How terrible of them to do this. It is very deceptive. I should have taken that as my first red flag warning. Finally, after our first years lease neared expiration the leasing agent came into our apartment to offer us a “Early Bird Special!” The hilariously named special entailed a $500/mo rent increase. When I asked what in the world justified such an increase I was told “the market has increased” however all of the other apartments in the area had same size or bigger units available for the same or less than what we paid for the first year at cypress. 3 of of our neighbors we talked to were given the same ridiculous offer and all moved out. Beware they will do this to you too. They will lock you in for 1 year and then gouge you to renew.Stay away from this place.
I recently had the pleasure of being shown around by Cypresss Jayden. He was an absolute pleasure to work with! My partner is at his job school right now so I am looking for apartments by myself and this is a very daunting task. Jayden was super sweet and very helpful when it came to looking for a floor plan for me and my partner. He was super thorough and efficient, he asked me questions about the apartment, what me and my partner couldnt live without and was able to narrow it down to one floor plan to look at instead of multiple in one day which made me anxious in other apartment tours. If I could rate Jayden out of 10 I would say it was a 20/10 experience. He was super relaxed and friendly made the stressful situtation much much easier, was thorough, understanding and kind. First time renters so I had a million questions maybe some were even dumb, but he never made me feel stupid if I asked a dumb question. If location wasnt an issue for us this would have been our number 1 choice. Everyone at Cypress was nice but Jayden went above and beyond!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cypress at Stone Oak Apartments, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. The golf course is absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained with beautiful landscaping that enhances every view. What truly made my visit exceptional, though, was the front office staff. They were not only welcoming but went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A special shoutout to Jaden, who was especially helpful and attentive. Jaden’s professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire process seamless, from providing information to addressing any questions I had.
Kim was my leasing agent. The staff and herself were excellent. Kim was very professional and nice. Throughout the process, Kim called to check up on me to see if I had any additional questions or needed anything during and after move in. We walked the model and my unit multiple times prior to moving in and was available at all times. I recommend this property 100% and defiantly ask for Kim to work with. You’ll be in the best of hands⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I took a tour with Kim and it was wonderful! She was very informed and kind. We are looking in advance for next year and she didn’t mind at all. We are hoping to come back and lease here with her next year!
I can’t recommend Cypress at Stone Oak Apartments enough! From start to finish, my experience here has been nothing short of amazing, and much of that is thanks to Jaden, who went above and beyond to make the process seamless and enjoyable. When I first visited the community, I was immediately impressed by the clean, well-maintained grounds and the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The location in Bexar County is perfect—close to everything I need while still feeling like a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. But what truly stood out was the customer service.Jaden was instrumental in helping me secure my apartment, and I genuinely can’t thank him enough. From the first conversation, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and provided thoughtful guidance at every step. Whether it was answering my countless questions, explaining the leasing process, or even helping me weigh my options, Jaden was always there with a smile and a willingness to assist. What I appreciated most was how approachable and proactive Jaden was. He ensured that every detail was handled efficiently, and he made me feel confident in my decision to move forward. It’s rare to find someone so committed to their work and genuinely invested in making others feel valued.Since moving in, I’ve continued to be impressed. The amenities here are top-notch, and the sense of community is incredible. I truly feel at home, and I credit a large part of that to the positive experience Jaden provided. If you’re looking for a new place to call home, I wholeheartedly recommend Cypress at Stone Oak Apartments—and if you have the chance to work with Jaden, you’re in excellent hands!
Bella has been nothing but helping since we’ve moved in and she signed us on another year! Very nice and helped us with everything. She has definitely made any issues we’ve had extreme easy.so… i found out that bella is here no more… 💔 we will be leaving soon because no one will take care of us like she did.. good luck cypress!
Paying for covered parking is mandatory but you don’t have an assigned spot so I constantly had to park far (and not in covered parking cause it would be full) and walk far to my building, the front gate didn’t work the entire year I lived here, the lock on the door to my building also didn’t work for the last 6 months of living there so anybody could just open the door and come on in. The pool was always gross, along with the common areas in the buildings, hallways/walkways. People’s dogs would pee in the elevator and it would be left for days sometimes. My AC didn’t work the last week I lived there and they didn’t come fix it until the day before my move out day… The request was put in for days. Then they charged me $200 for a single broken blind when I moved out. The staff is nice enough but it’s not worth the money even remotely.*UPDATE*So after I moved out, I forgot to change the address on my chewy orders. My chewy package was delivered to my old apartment but I realized it immediately and called them to ask if they could put it aside for me to come pick up. (My cat is on medicated prescription food so it’s important that she has it.) First, the girl said she wouldn’t be able to release it to me since I’m no longer a resident? So you can’t give me mail with my name on it? Then she puts me on hold for a few seconds and comes back to tell me that the package wasn’t delivered there… When I’m looking at the picture of my package in the hallway of the apartment from FedEx. Forget what I said about the staff being nice enough lol.
The whole staff is amazing. Isabella is my favorite. She is very friendly. She is like a sister and she really cares for the residents as well as the property. I always look for her when I go down there. Keep u the good work.
DO NOT MOVE IN! Terrible, scamming with hidden fees that they do not show on the lease, terrible maintenance, terrible customer service. Paid $150 to a company to clean the apartment before moving out and they are charging me $150 in cleaning fee bc according to them, the apartment is not clean enough!!By the way they gonna charge you $269 in fees every single month on top of your rent!!! They are ridiculous. Do not get scammed! 👍🏼
I chose this location because it fit my needs and the ladies in the office have been very helpful and took care of all my needs. Kim and Cassi were amazing and the complex is very quiet and comforting. The other residents have also been really friendly. I recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing place to live.
Jaden helped me find the most perfect place for my family. Super educated and he is very knowledgeable. Every question I had, he had an answer to. If you ever are looking to lease, go visit Jaden at Cypress!
I recently moved into a new apartment, and I couldnt be happier with the experience, largely thanks to the incredible staff here. From the very first interaction, theyve been nothing but welcoming and helpful.A special thank you to Kim who as made the move-in process smooth and stress-free. She continues to be available to answer my questions, and her friendly demeanor makes me feel right at home. She and the team went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and needs, ensuring everything was in order for my arrival.Overall, I am incredibly grateful for the excellent service and support from everyone at my new apartment. They have made my transition to a new home seamless and enjoyable!
Cassi & Bella, Donni & Hollis have worked really hard to help us with our struggles in apartment living. Weve been able to go to them with any issues, big or small. We have simply kept the lines of communication open and not had unrealistic expectations. If you talk to people and treat them the way youd like to be treated, theres always a workable resolution.
Recently moved to the area, Jaden was super helpful throughout the process! Ensuring it was quick, affordable, and included the amenities I had asked for.
Alfredo and Cassi made the move in experience nice and easy! All of my questions and concerns were addressed quickly and in a friendly manner. Things are going great!
Cassie, took over management here and she has been fantastic at resolving residents issues! I really wish she was here from the start! Love her!
I rarely write reviews as I despise the typical Karen or millennial who thinks the grocery checker controls clearance items, but I genuinely believe people should be warned. Upon filing paperwork, the employee lied to my fiancé regarding finance by simply moving money around, calling it a discount, and hoping we wouldnt catch it. Additionally, an employee miscalculated rent, gave me her word she would take care of anything if the total changed, then expected me to pay hundreds of dollars for her inability to perform 5th grade arithmetic. Break-ins occur frequently. Police are on the premises every other week filing reports as the gates are broken more often than repaired. The mail keys (for which they charge $100) rarely work etc. Ive spoken with other tenants who claim they were offered discounts for 5-star reviews, which obviously speaks volumes. Due to the nature of my work, Ive lived more places than most and Ive yet to have an issue with a single apartment complex or landlord. With the number of neighboring apartment complexes who dont lie while extracting every penny they can, please look elsewhere. Attached is a photo of one of the coded door locks thats been broken for months.Edit: They steal your deposit too. I was skeptical due to the character of the staff, so I took before/after pics of the place. The carpet had enough dog hair to see without bending your neck, the sink was installed backwards and leaked, half the bulbs were out, etc. ....This is my 4th apartment in 5 years (job forces me to move frequently) and have received 90% or more of each deposit save for this one. $75 to clean just the fridge? An additional $75 to clean the microwave. A third fee of $75 to clean the washer and dryer? A 4th $75 to clean the stove(Yes, that is $300 total thus far). I could go on, and I wish this was a joke, but it continues like this until the total ended up being the EXACT amount of my deposit. The complex is filthy and riddled with issues as well, but you get the idea. Dont live there!
The entire staff at Cypress @ Stone Oaks is wonderful! I especially want to recognize Kim for her welcome hospitality as a new resident! Kim goes beyond her duties to make me feel @ home! I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a new home with staff comfort!
SLUM of Stone Oak. I have been forced to stay here, told I my handicap was a lie to pay less rent?! Cars broken into. Locked doors think NOT drunk people get into buildings pull fire alarms and leave. Smells of animal feces and urine. Calling office staff rude and unprofessional would be a compliment. The tack on late fees, even when you pay your rent on time handicap parking forget about it. You have people parking in the second part of the handicap parking spots. Underground parking garage is a swimming pool when it rains. It is utterly the most expensive trashiest apartments. When they do pick up your trash, it’s never consistent even though you pay consistently. We have a constant flow of caterpillars coming into our home, even after they claim to spray maintenance, will determine whether or not your upstairs, neighbors, flood, and water pouring into your house from the light fixtures is emergency or not by the way it’s not according to them. Stairs, don’t have handrails. I have fallen and been recommended by a doctor to be able to leave this hell hole And day again, said that my handicapped was fake. This is my far the worst place I have ever lived in my life
They are charging extra $50 for trash, plus $25 for valet trash. Additional exorbitant high extra fees that they never tell you about. I was so happy until the O’Connor Group bought this property.
A very polite team in the leasing office. Bella was kind, courteous, and helpful with my questions and concerns. The area is nice, not too far from everything in the city. A decent view, spacious, and both pools provided a good time for my nieces when they visited. They were clean and mostly to ourselves both times we went to swim. The gym isn’t like a commercial gym of course but it is sufficient for me and one less expense to worry about. Overall it has been a good experience for a first time renter.
Alfredo did a great job showing me the property as well as explaining clearly what Cypress has to offer. I look forward to working with him in my transition from OK!
We are very pleased with the outstanding service we have received from Cassi and the incredible staff at Cypress at Stone Oak. The team is very friendly yet professional at the same time. We would recommend checking out Cypress and considering this place in your search for a home.
Just came from a Walk through great staff very professional apartments looked fantastic awesome views nice environment Im sure Ill be living here in the future.
I absolutely love Cassie and Bella! They are always willing to go the extra mile to address any issues that may arise. It shows that they care and that they truly do love what they do. I highly recommend living at Cypress of Stone Oak.
Cassi has been an amazing property manager by far the best since I’ve been living here. Cassi is very empathetic and truly cares about her tenants. If you’re looking to move into an apartment community I strongly recommend you considering Cypress and stone oak. Ask for Cassi she’ll take great care of you!!
I signed my lease last September, and I really enjoy the apartment complex so much to the point where I resigned again! So I felt like it’s only fitting I leave a review. lived in 5 apartments over the years, and I’ve never resigned a lease until this complex. The amenities are great, I favor the big main pool mainly because it’s such a large pool, and it has a hot tub.I love my floor plan because even the guest bedrooms are massive. The master bedrooms are huge and the walk in closet is really great. And I have a great view of the golf course! The office is great at communicating if any amenities are shut down for cleaning, and send out monthly rent reminders which I love. The gate has been broken twice, but it’s because people have damaged the gate, not that the gate was faulty. It was fixed within a week.Bella and Cassi have been so sweet with answering any questions I’ve had during my lease! They truly go above and beyond. I was out of town and had a very important package delivered, and they kept it in the office AND brought it to my apartment for me. They didn’t have to do this at all, they could’ve said “tough luck” but they truly went above and beyond. We had one tiny issue with insects (curse this Texas weather and living next to lush greenery) and Cassi & Bella not only had their pest control team come out, but ALSO had a PROFESSIONAL team come out just to make sure everything was extra treated. They again could’ve just told me to buy my own products and do it myself, but no, they took it upon themselves and took great care in making sure that the problem was handled. Also shoutout to Donnie (or his name might be Dakota? Or there might be two of them) for always taking care of our maintenance issues. They take care of it super quick! Also, before anyone starts thinking “oh they gave her a discount to write this” no, they didn’t, I’m leaving this review because I want to 🤭I typed too long of a review so here’s the TLDR: the apartment is phenomenal, but Bella & Cassi make it even better.
This is an incredible experience, we are very grateful to Bela for her support and help. The apartments are beautiful, clean, comfortable and very friendly
We do love the high ceilings, and view from the 4th floor of the golf course. I can see that the new management team is working hard to get the property up to expectations. Move in day went well and all of our questions were resolved quickly. Thank you Lakesha M. for making this a great place to live.
BELLA was amazing at getting us into our new home, answered all questions. Went over everything with us made sure we had everything we needed and got us moved in on time. She made everything easy and stress free.
Great apartments! I highly recommend. You truly get a lot. Bella helped my husband and I prior to us getting to San Antonio and she has been amazing ever since ! She has been really helpful and understanding.
Cassi is amazing! Very excited for the move, she made this entire process so easy. Very happy I got to work with her and chose these apartments. Cant wait to move in! Thank you to your co worker as well!
In the state of taxes, the law says security deposits have to be refunded within 30 days. I moved out June 15 and I release was up July 7 so we moved out early and and everything was caught up no damage we even received a statement on what our security deposit return is going to be, but yet still do not have the deposit. Office told me deposit was mailed out July 14 and today is August 7 and still nothing. I could’ve received mail from China in that timeframe. They emailed me and said they put the check in the mail today supposedly. These people have been playing games and will tell you anything just to get you off the phone. Looks like I may have to go to court if the situation. Definitely bad business practice.
So serene and relaxing. I absolute love my new place to call home. Bella is the one to show us and provide us with our new home and I wouldn’t have asked for anyone or anyplace better! The golf course views. Space. And Bella. I’m so happy to be here!
They will take months or never repair work orders. The leasing agent Keisha will knowingly put you in a unit that is in extreme disrepair. The operations manager Kristal will put your entire family’s health at risk and never make repairs needed for safety and health reasons.See the photos for yourself. Only one of the photos don’t show the issue which is the toilet that doesn’t properly flush and has not been properly flushing since I moved in 3 months ago. The toilet has about 5+ work orders that they refused to address the issue. The bedroom to my son’s room lets air from outside in the unit. It’s like we’re outside all day. His room brings in the smell from outside so if you like your house to smell like the outside, this would be the apartments for you. My freezer has insects living in it and they come up to die. My fridge is fine. However, there are insects living in my freezer and they refuse to even send pest control.Don’t be confused by the promotions this place is not it. Very unprofessional management by the way if he bring up issues that they don’t resolve, they will show their backsides and yell/talk loudly. Whatever
If I could give zero stars, I would... I lived in these apartments for 5 years without any issues. When the new management took over, it all went downhill. My personal belongings were taken from my garage without notice. If management would have called me to let me know they were not allowed, I could have removed them the same day. When I finally got them back, more than half of my stuff was stolen. The property manager did not care. While I was filing the police report, I asked the manager for their corporate number and email. They rudely told me to look it up myself. I was not provided a copy of my lease after asking several times. At the end, management said I was harassing them because I kept asking for a copy of my contract. I do not recommend these apartments to anyone. Management is rude, careless, and unprofessional.
I was getting divorced and this seemed like a clean quit place to live . Everything was good until about a week in and then the roaches came and they never left . This is the south and there everywhere but for 1,340 plus all the extra cost internet even if you don’t use Spectrum you still pay and the amenities cost so around 1,600 for a one bedroom with a roach guest . Which never leave take lots of photos the neighbors upstairs kids bounce and knock down the dining room bracket which didn’t have a mount just caulking to support lighting which I remounted at a least twice took photos but not high enough to see the mount must off fell off after I left ask for photos and time stamp but never received photos to prove the date of inspection. Employees smile and wave like your a community but it’s all for show . Over all ok place not a dump but watch the hidden cost attached to your rent and even thou you pay all your bills on time still don’t trust them after you leave . FYI
This property is amazing and service is great. Karen went an extra mile to attend to what I needed. Matt was also helpful in the process. But the service here is extreme impeccable. Karen and Matt will make you feel at home. Definitely recommend this property for your future home.
We are writing to express our appreciation for Bella! Bella’s dedication to ensuring a positive living experience is truly commendable. She dedicated the time to address all of our concerns and acted promptly to ensure that our living experience at Cypress not only remains comfortable but is also enhanced. We feel fortunate to have Bella as part of our living experience. Thank you, Bella!
Donnie is absolutely amazing! The AC stopped working suddenly and temp rose drastically overnight in the apartment. He was on it the next day! Got a window unit for a few days while the new AC unit was ordered. Today, I came home to a nice, cool apartment! Great end to the Monday work day!
The staff here are pretty awesome, always kind and courteous. Willing to go the extra mike for tenants which rarely happens at other apartment complex establishments. Bella, Kayla, and Roxie are a dream team, crazy dedicated business women. So appreciated!
**DO NOT BELIEVE THE FIVE STAR REVIEWS OR MOVE HERE!!!I am an 18 year old girl who has lived in this absolute piece of garbage for a total of 4 treacherous years. I live with my grandma, my 97 year old great grandma (who is handicapped and in hospice), and my younger brother. Since the day we have moved in, we have struggled with more problems than I can count. We were promised a “luxurious apartment” with “amazing customer service” and “scenic views” when obviously it is the complete opposite. To tell you the truth, I am NOT one who typically complains about experiences, let alone write a review, however, let me just say, everything they say is a LIE. We have had our car broken into, rooms filled with ROACHES and other insects, MOLD everywhere, constant disgusting SMELLS coming in from the MUSTY hallway, shower heads/door locks/ AND AC breaking. And so much more I cannot even fit into this paragraph. And you know what the CRAZIEST part about this is? Not a SINGLE time did maintenance come when we called them for help. Even for air filters after 4 years of collecting god knows what. Oh! And to top things off, talking to employees is like talking to a brick wall. They all tell you the same thing “yeah! we will call you as soon as we can to help.” Please. If you’re not going to do it then don’t lie about it. Since the reviews seem to glaze this “WONDERFUL” employee, let’s dig into who she truly is. Bella is not the Angel that the reviews say she is, she has been extremely rude and has lied MULTIPLE times to us saying she will call “property managers”, when obviously she never does. Not until we decided to move out did she begin to show her true colors. I am finally moving out to go to college, but of course, the elevators did not work the exact time we started moving out. Not until we finished did the elevator start working again. What a strange coincidence. While I carried heavy tables down three flights of stairs, I had to stop at the office from the exhaustion and danger from falling off the narrow staircase. Once again, I am a young and strong 18 year old girl, and I was shaking from the pain and suffering I dealt with moving everything downstairs. I showed Bella my shaking hands and she was still cold hearted afterwards WHILE STILL having the audacity to give us until 5:30 when she could easily let us return the keys at 6:00 which is when she goes home with her expensive umbrella as we drench ourselves in the rain. It’s truly hilarious to see her own SELF written 5 star reviews that work to hide all of the genuine 1 star reviews which are deleted to lure in the poor visitors who are hoping to find a comfortable home. We have been charged for our own parking spot, but we NEVER received it. 24/7 the parking lot is full and we have to park almost to END of the parking space to not get towed. Well as we moved out of the apartment, my grandmas car was towed from being parked in a place where EVERYONE parks even though it’s prohibited. Which is absolutely ridiculous after charging us for a reserved spot. I have worked multiple jobs since I was 14 because of the exaggerated prices on this place. All because this garbage can of a place needs a 14 year old girls paycheck to satisfy its own greed. I would legit wake up to roaches on the side of my bed after 12 hour shifts. Let alone the constant need to go to the doctor for “allergy medication” which never worked because obviously it from me getting sick of the painted over mold. Can you believe we payed OVER 2,200 dollars per month PLUS valet trash and other random charges? Shame on this corrupt apartment complex. I could’ve saved more for my college but no, it went to this greedy apartment complex that spends their money on everything but it’s business. So really, thank you Cypress Apartments for absolutely ruining my last few years as a child. Don’t even bother to reply with your chat gpt generated response asking me to call your fake phone number, and no you will not find my name in your system because I was a MINOR when I moved in.
Just wanted to know what an asset Miss Kim is. She is the newest member of the Cypress team. She has a positive attitude. I came to her with some concerns. She addressed my concerns and put my mind at ease. Looking forward to seeing her around.
Went in for a tour I had the pleasure of working with Jaden he was able to give me all the answers I needed and was very factual with all my questions I am strongly considering this place since all the staff are just incredible and offer amazing customer service
Bella continues to be absolutely wonderful! She always makes sure any concerns are addressed in a timely matter. She made renewing my lease quick and easy. Ive met different members of the maintenance team as well, and they are all extremely nice and throughly explain what they are doing to fix issues. Glad Im here for another year!
Love the staff and their charisma. They genuinely want to help anyway possible. Bella was absolutely outstanding with helping me become a future tenant. The place is nice, clean and exceptionally well kept. I recommend this property to anybody looking for somewhere to live. Ask for Bella, she will take care of you!
Cassi and Kim helped me out on my key turn in and did an amazing job. Every encounter with the has been good.
My family and I lived here for an entire year. Our car was broken into, gates and doors are broken, trash is everywhere, maintenance does not care about you at all. Rent is 1,600 but nothing in the apartment gets fixed. There is mold. They placed big rocks outside my patio knowing that I have a senior dog. They weren’t the ones walking on it. Inconsiderate. The front office is always telling their staff to make 5 stars reviews so this place can get more clients. But honestly go spend your money somewhere else because cypress sucks.
It has been a very long time since weve experienced apartment living. Dedrick helped make our decision to choose Cypress at Stone Oak an easy one. He was extremely professional throughout our tour, showing us alternatives and answering all our questions. Responsive and friendly, he made the application process a breeze. We felt welcome in our new home.
Absolutely love the girls at the front everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Kim did an amazing job walking me through my apartment and made mine and my kids move in experience beautiful and easy.
First and foremost, Bella and Amber are fantastic property managers. They are always available to answer any questions and concerns that residents may have, and they do so in a friendly and professional manner. Their communication skills are top-notch, and they are always prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. In addition to being great communicators, Bella and Amber truly care about the well-being of their residents. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, and they go out of their way to ensure that everyone feels safe, comfortable, and happy living at Cypress at Stone Oak.The property itself is also incredibly well-maintained, thanks in large part to the hard work and dedication of Bella and Amber. They are constantly working to improve the property, whether its by adding new amenities or addressing maintenance concerns in a timely and efficient manner.Overall, I cannot recommend Bella and Amber highly enough. They are truly exceptional property managers, and they have made my experience living at Cypress at Stone Oak an absolute delight. If youre looking for a beautiful, well-maintained apartment complex with exceptional management, look no further than Cypress at Stone Oak and the wonderful team of Bella and Amber!
Terrible management. Filthy apartment on move in day.Next door neighbors were nice. Upstairs horrible with nightly fights and police being called. Please pick anywhere else to live so you have peace of mind.
Bella and then heading staff are wonderful. They are so helpful and will work with you. The grounds are great and so are the apartments. One would be fortunate to work with them. Thank you!
The property manager was extremely understanding about the stomping disturbance from the apartment above us during night time hours. She has made arrangements for us to transfer to another apartment. I really appreciate the property manager working with us to come to a resolution that worked for us. I really love the apartments and the area and I am so happy I did not have to move a different apartment complex. I would recommend Cypress at Stone Oak Apartments!
Loved these apartments. Kim from the leasing office was awesome and always showed hospitality!
My friend was staying here and while we were at work he’d get phone calls from the staff about “loud noise complaints” from his apartment..keep in mind we have been at work the entire day..so how could he possibly be causing these loud noises??On top of that a fire started at his apartment, he was at the gym at the time and rushed back to his apartment. He lost everything including his pups who were his entire world. He’s devastated and hurt that he couldn’t save the pups. The sprinklers never went off at his apartment..it’s inexcusable and that negligence cost the lives of pups he holds near and dear to his heart. If you have children or pets, do not live here, it isn’t safe and worth their lives.
UPDATE: I was contacted by José a week before my move-in to schedule a time to get my keys and walk through the apartment. I showed up on time and he was ready with my papers. I filled them out and he answered all my questions, took his time with me, and made sure we didnt miss any spots throughout the apartment that needed to be marked on the inventory list. They said the previous tenants were a little rough on their washer and dryer and so they ordered me a brand new one. Everyone is so nice here and doesnt rush you! José was amazing today!I toured the property yesterday and Christie was so helpful in answering all my questions! It felt very welcoming as soon as you walked into the leasing office. I did have to wait about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time but I understand why now since it is such an awesome property and everyone wants to live here! They are very straightforward with all the fees from application, deposit, and move-in day. Kristy and Sasha helped me through the whole application process and stayed with me a little after hours to get the whole process done. I had 4 other tours scheduled yesterday and I cancelled them because of the experience that I had with Kristy and because of how pretty the property was! It is on the pricier side, however it is worth it! Single girl looking for a place to live, this is a great place! Everything is so secure and they have no breed restrictions which is even better! Will update once I move-in, but so far, no complaints!
I have never been so excited to be a a part of a community as I am the Cypress… Not just because I fell in love with these gorgeousu, contemporary apartments… I was so blessed to be able to work with Kayla… She was so professional, kind, compassionate, in addition to being an amazing listener. I had a whirlwind of a situation and have never had more peace looking for my future home.
We have been working with Bella since back in October when we decided to make the move from Minnesota to San Antonio. She helped us every step of the way to get us into the community we fell in love with at first sight. We have found our new home in a new state thanks to Bella and Cypress at Stone Oak!
The best experience ever, Bella is the one helping us with the move in process wonderful young lady she is so sweet and kind. She made sure to make us feel at home and the process was so fast with her knowing our current living situation she made sure we weren’t waiting long. I’ve seen her interact with older residents she was so sweet ❤️I can keep going on and on about Bella overall best experience ever %100 thank you !
This is a very good area to live, you have everything near, what I like about this apartment’s is the neighbors, all of them are courteous and during the year we have here no problem was made that impacted the community, the staff is also amazing and very responsive, from the maintenance team to the main office they are always willing to help, we just signed for the second year. Thanks Roxy.
Ive lived here since 2015 and love it here. The maintenance staff is responsive, knowledgeable and always eager to help. The office staff is awesome. Most recently i worked with Bella on renewing my lease and it was a great experience. The complex is beautiful, scenic, well lit, safe and QUIET. Very peaceful here. I highly recommend this complex if youre looking to have a positive apartment living experience.
Ive had one of the most wonderful experiences since this new property management took over and Ive been here since this building has been built 15 years ago. Minerva at the leasing office has taken the time to always answer my questions and cater to my needs in the front office. She even helped me setup my auto pay account which took us a while but she was so patient. She even made me a coffee she deserves a promotion, shes very professional and she smells great too! Im a little bit older and her and everyone in the office has been so helpful. Im impressed with how fast this company has undertaken renovations and improved this place, Im excited to see the end result. Cordelia has also been amazing to me, I feel like Im in great hands, Im going to find her a husband
We came in on a Wednesday just to ask about their apartments and Jessica sat us down and asked what we were looking for. She was very thorough and we were in a rush so we set up an appointment for that Friday morning. Jessica met with us and showed us around the complex and exactly what we were looking for. We were able to start the application process that day. Very helpful and great personality to work with people trying to get into a new home
Lived her for 2 years. My A/C worked for 1.5 years total. They charge you for parking and you don’t have a designated spot. I had rude neighbors that threw stuff at my door and dumped trash on my doorstep for no reason and the management did nothing. This place is old, moldy, run down, and dirty. Do not move in here. It’s not luxury. Don’t let the photos or the apartment that they show you coerce you into moving here because they’ll give you something completely different after you sign the lease.
We have thoroughly enjoyed living here at Cypress at Stone Oak…Our housing coordinator Bella Stafford has been truly amazing from the beginning of our move in to now…She is very consistent and her word is definitely her bond… The reason why we are staying is because she such a great person, very professional and knowledgeable about Cypress at Stone Oak.. We love her to the moon and back and she certainly deserves a pay increase…Thank you,Dr. Vanessa L. Brown
Very friendly apartment complex and welcoming people. Bella did a great job moving us in and replaced our washer and drier before we stepped in to the place to keep the standards. She helped visualize the options it offered for variety in layouts. The view from the place is phenomenal, thanks Bella!
I agree with PW, the place is in a prime location beautiful property but kept in terrible conditions. Landscape poorly maintained, real trash problem, you drive around building trash everywhere , dead plants and trees all around , pool areas are dirty and old, pool area looks abandoned water murky. Gym has great equipment but completely outdated carpet and decor smells moldy. Beautiful balconies but you only see junk outside. Staff might be great but a place in such neighborhood should be sparkling , vibrant ,clean , well kept , and welcoming. With rents so high everything should be working and well kept not broken and dirty.. This place needs new owner and management .
Excellent!!!I worked with Bella, I was having a hard time between work and moving as most people but she was gracious and patient. one of the best moves EVER with no exaggeration into a beautiful property! Thank you for wonderful customer service:$
Want to give a high five to yall! Yall rock and are spot on with getting our issues resolved! Thank yall!
The view, THE VIEW!! I love my penthouse balcony view. (Especially being able to see it all the way from kitchen.) And all the staff have been so kind and welcoming. From touring all the way to move-in, things went real smooth. Thank you, and special thanks to Tyler for her guidance, patience, and attentiveness on the day-of. Very informative and totally rad.
I just moved in to this place and I loved the experience since day 1 I requested information, Kim is very professional and friendly, definitely I recommend these apartments.
Bella has been such a pleasure since the start. I was searching for an apartment while deployed and she made sure we were in such good hands and any issues that arises were swiftly taken care of.
Bella has always greeted me with a friendly face and bubbly personality. Every time Molly and I come in for multiple requests everything from air filters to plumbing issues in my apartment. I always walk away with a smile and a gratitude of knowing I picked the right place to live.
As a new resident to this property and San Antonio area its been a pleasure and helpful experience talking to Cassi about what else this area has to offer with some great recommendations
Hollis came after hours and helped get us out of the weeds when our washer flooded after hours and came right away. Bella is always cheerful and helpful for everything needed and even just to say hello. The staff makes it easy to live here.
Break ins have occurred for the past several weeks. Last night 6 cars were busted into under one set of covered parking alone. When you sign the lease, you sign a clause stating you waive your right to a 24-hour notice for them to enter your apartment. The elevator and protected hallways are great, but a false security nonetheless. This review will not show up under the review section. There is obvious corruption at some level here.
I went to look at these apartments based off of their specific unit they were advertising and I will say, while these apartments are nice, they are different than advertised. That is pretty true for a lot of apartments so I would highly recommend taking a tour and really seeing if its what youre looking for. Tyler showed me around this property and was so thorough and patient while on the tour. She was personable and kind which really made the process a lot more enjoyable! I would give the property 4 stars for a little bit of a misleading price and look of the units, but 5 stars for Tyler because she is amazing!!
I love this property! I have had 3 apartments here and have lived here for over 4 years, left to another property and came back 5 months later. I will never leave again until we purchase a home. I love our apartment, maintenance is always nice and prompt, and I never have to worry about feeling bad when I do have issues. Emily has been extremely helpful whenever we needed anything, although she is gone, there are still great staff members who work here. The new property manager has always been helpful and has the answers we needed for move in and sends very informative, blunt, but humorous monthly updates that always make us giggle a bit. We like that. The people that live here are also nice, we enjoy our building and that the grounds are pet friendly. I really truly love living here!
Donnie has come to our apartment twice so far , he is the only maintenance person that has been able to fix the things we needed fixed. He is truly an asset to your company. He is observant and knowledgeable. If he says he’s coming back to finish a job he does. He is pleasant and fast at what he does.We now feel like this group finally has things going in the right direction we are very happy that you are doing every thing you can to get things fixed and maintained Thank You for all your hard work. Thanks For hiring Donnie he is fantastic!!!!!
I was so impressed with the level of service I received from everyone at this apartment community. Tyler was so helpful on the phone and got me right in for a tour! When I got there Kristen was able to find out exactly what I was looking for. These apartments are large! I was shocked with the amount of square feet you get for the price. My wife is going to fill that walk in closet. WOW!
I recently moved to San Antonio after 20 years of service in the US Army. I had several apartment viewings and I chose the Cypress at Stone Oak. Hands down the best Office Management team I’ve ever worked with. Minerva, the office manager and her team, are the #1 reason I wanted Cypress at Stone Oak to be my new home going into retirement. Great location, and very close proximity to my childrens new schools. While in the office, I over heard other residents talking to potential residents about how amazing it was to live there. That definitely was another deciding factor for me to move there. The management team was very professional and worked diligently with me even though I lived hours away. I am very excited to call Cypress my new community / family.
I had an Great experience . Tyler showed me their beautiful Community and I immediately fell in love with it. I also met Bella who was amazing and will be showing be their beautiful one bedroom option as well. This apartment is looking like my potential new home.
Krystal was our leasing agent and her enthusiasm was as bright as her smile. She welcomed us and was eager to share all the amenities that the property had to offer. Both pools were so inviting as was the two workout facilities. The gas grills next to the pool made me want to start grilling. The views were hard to choose from between the golf course, pool, and rolling hills made it difficult to choose. Krystal was so personable and helpful with everything to secure our next home. Even though we aren’t moving in until November 1st we were able to secure our apartment. We looked at many different communities to live in and we decided immediately this was the best and most suitable place for us. We are so excited to move, and are really looking forward to becoming a part of this community. The new management is already making some beautiful changes and upgrades now, I can’t wait to see what all they accomplish before we move in. I know I spoke specifically about Krystal but everyone in the leasing office was warm and friendly and I really feel no matter who helped us we would have walked away with the same great experience.
These apartments are really nice! Definitely meet the luxury apartment standard. While we did not sign a lease here, it was solely because we decided to rent a home instead. I came here to write the review because of the service Peyton provided when we came to tour the property. He was well dressed showing pride in personal appearance, professional, wanted to know our preferences and must haves to find a unit that best suited us. He was very personable.
Updated: Also wanted to shout out both Bella and also Hollis. They have been nothing short of amazing all year long. Highly recommend this complex to anyone looking. Best staff around!Wanted to give a shout out to Jose. He took care of my issue with the gate code and was extremely helpful. Told me to pass on that if anyone has issues related to it they should reach out and he will handle it personally.
Bella is such a great person! She helped me with my apartment unit, and I couldn’t appreciate it enough! It is beautiful with a chefs dreams kitchen and the best view out there! You have to see it to believe it! Love my home ❤️
It’s become an absolute dump and their business dealings are shady! My parents have lived here for seven years. It’s been great for them up until this new management company has taken over. They’re rude, fake and it’s an eyesore. The gate hasn’t worked in 2 years. Elevators are always broken, trash and furniture is piled at the dumpster, it’s dark in the hallways and my parents have waited months for simple repairs. This year, they raised their rent $400 at renewal! $400! I realize rent has gone up across the country, but $400 for one year is insane. My complex only went up $100, which is reasonable. They’ve also started charging for parking when you can’t park anywhere else. It makes no sense. There are no new perks for that $400. It’s not even updated. They now have to downsize and are moving to another apartment. We would move them out but my mom needs a standing shower and an elevator because she’s handicapped. There aren’t many places around that offer this so they’re just going to downsize. This company is forcing them to pay a $500 transfer fee. Nowhere in their current lease does it say they need to pay this if they move to a different unit but they’re making them do it anyway. This week they told them if they don’t pay it, they’re going to cancel the new lease and make them stay in their current apartment at $400 higher a month. It’s absolutely disgusting what they’re doing to a retired couple who has lived here for 7 YEARS!I would stay away if I were you. There are so many well managed complexes around that actually care about their residents and their well-being. This isn’t one of them.
This place is ruining the entire neighborhood. Who leaves tons and tons of waste/trash sitting outside so every passing vehicle can see this rubbish? They do not take care of this property once so ever. You’re next to a beautiful golf course for crying out loud and in a nice neighborhood but for some reason the owner(s) do not want to properly maintain this complex. You have satellites dishes sitting on the ground, random mini goalie poles sitting in the middle of the yard next to the main road and zero landscaping. The negligence and lack of care is really showing. The grass is completely dead, shrubs and trees are dead or dying and they just painted the property with the worst color’s possible. It’s like you used primer and forgot the main coat. It’s a shame this property is even allowed to do business in a residential area like this. It looks so rundown and doesn’t belong within our community. It’s that bad!!!!! Then people wonder why we didn’t want apartment complexes building in the area much less next to a golf course. It’s an absolute disgrace how bad this property is and the owners should feel ashamed that they’ve let this place run into the ground.Note: don’t read the fake reviews. Ask anyone what they think of this complex and you will immediately learn the truth.
I’ve been here for over a wk now and between my apartment inspection , maintenance orders being put in and done in a timely manner.. this was definitely a great place for me to choose and CASSIE will definitely help you out if you’re considering this location.
To be very honest, I would not have given this apartment complex a single star if you would have asked me to do a review prior to the new staff due to the lack of compassion and customer service. The reason why I give this apartment complex 5 stars is solely due to Chesley. She assisted me with every concern I had and was incredibly thoughtful. She was understanding and compassionate; two characteristics that lacked previously at this complex. She was even out helping with valet trash today. It is a breath of fresh air to have a hands on leader like her! I know that the direction of the property is in way better hands with this new wave of leadership. I know there are some bad reviews, and while I would have agreed with them even a month ago, I truly think that this apartment complex is worth looking into since Chesley has taken over. It is beautiful with many amenities, a great location and with this change of leadership, it’s a great place to live.
Well took a tour of the place fell in love with everyone in office and the place in it self absolutely beautiful
Paying for a secure place to live with gates wide open and doors to buildings left open. Come on in! I left messages on 23, 24 and the 26 of September requesting a call back to find out when my freezer will be fixed. I was supposed to have a work order put in when I signed my lease back in May. Minerva never put it in. 6 weeks ago it started leaking and Rudy came in and turned the water off. I have called the last 3 days trying to find out when someone is going to come in and fix it. No one has bothered to call me back. By the way I dont feel very safe when a person in our building 9 has a ring camera and has seen someone at 2:00 in the morning just roaming the Halls because the gates are not closed in the doors to our building are not secure. We have been hearing a smoke detector going off as if it were low battery. I happened to see that it was unscrewed from the ceiling. My son-in-law fixed it. Made another call today 1 Oct 2022 trying to get a date for when my freezer will be fixed and when our complex will be secure. I was told Tuesday the gates and doors would be secure. Waiting on a call back to get a set date on freezer and water filter!
Did a walk through with Calli, she was very helpful and knowledgeable! Though The apartments didn’t suit our needs at the time; they were very beautiful, in a great location, with nice accommodations. I will be recommending Cypress to friends and family. Thanks Calli for answering all of our questions and taking me and my families needs into consideration:)
I went on a tour here about a week ago and Tyler was AMAZING! We worked with her from the beginning and she was professional throughout the process. She showed me around and answered all of the questions that I had. We loved the pool, being on the golf course, and the huge gym that is much bigger than any apartment complex I have seen. Highly considering Stone oak as our residence.
Thank you so much Karen my experience with you was awesome. She was very attentive to my needs, and match all of the amenities I was seeking. Her market knowledge was impeccable and pretty informative, regarding Cypress at Stone Oak. I appreciate the soft skills she applied toward matching my needs and budget with apartment/unit availability. the tour was great and shes pretty funny. I had a great time and I love the apartment and great view. Again, Thank You Karen!!you are the best - nacho libre aka AM
Amber on staff very friendly, refreshing attitude, made us feel welcome whenever we come to the office. She has helped us through several issues, calling to check those are complete and satisfactory. We love the view, clean place, amenities, dog stations are clean, work orders are addressed.
I love living here, this is the best apartment experience I’ve ever had. The girls in the front are always super nice and friendly and helpful. The management is very accommodating, and the maintenance team does a great job on handling service requests quickly and keeping the grounds beautiful. I was nervous to move here after the reviews from when it was run by the old company, but took a leap of faith once I learned it was taken over by a new company. It was a great decision, and I’ve experienced absolutely none of what the old bad reviews said. I would highly recommend Marquis at Stone Oak.
Bella is amazing! She answered all my questions and it wasn’t uncomfortable having a conversation with her. She made me feel welcomed and I loved the unit we toured. Hoping to make Cypress my new home.
Im not a resident, but here are valid reasons why I would NEVER move here (as someone who did a full tour a few months ago, and has delivered dozens of doordashes to various apartments in this complex)There are so many things I could get into, such as the absolute bull that these are luxury apartments, to the shady management practices my husband and I witnessed while we were there on a tour. The buildings themselves are absolute garbage. The elevators hardly ever work (there are 5 flights of stairs in most buildings). There are NO lights or cameras in the stairwells. I have a video of me walking up and down 5 flights of stairs in the pitch black with several boxes of pizza due to elevators being out of service. There are keypads outside of the buildings to get in, im assuming the residents have some sort of fob to get in. But as far as the guest codes to get in, they NEVER worked. I would have to wait forever for the resident to meet me outside for their food, or wait for someone to open the door for me. Not to mention their lack of parking (we will get more into this later). On the tour, we were shown the garages. There are NO WALLS in the garages. So you cant store anything in there because everyone has access to all of your stuff and vise versa. They didnt write it down because we obviously werent interested, but I do remember them charging over $100/garage for this. Final thing Ill say about the buildings, MOLD!!! MOLD MOLD MOLD !!! Absolutely ROTS of the smell of mold in the hallways and in the units they showed us.Now the shady practices... I believe the only reason they have more than 2 stars is because they got absolutely FLOODED with 5 star reviews at the time we toured. This is part of the reason I waited a few months to leave a review, I didnt want it washed out with all the fake 5 star reviews. They were offering some sort of discount if you left them a 5 star review and moved in shortly after. Go back through all the ones a few months prior to mine here, none of them are from residents. All of them are about the leasing agent people being great... They made us and 4 other families wait upwards of an HOUR for a 20 minute tour-- there were over 6 people working the front office. 2 of them were giving maybe 1 tour an hour, 1 one them was walking around aimlessly trying to look like shes so busy, and the rest were making COLD CALLS to people trying to get people to move in. Girl, like there isnt 15 people between 4 different families right infront of yall that would much more appreciate your time.Skipping through the tour where the agent dodged our concerns about the mold, now here comes the wrap up of the tour. The lady sits us back down, and starts talking about pricing again as she did prior to the tour. Out of no where, so nonchalantly slides in there is a $45/Car/month PARKING FEE regardless if you get a garage, and that theres also a $50/month fee to use the washer and dryer that are SUPPLIED in unit. There is no mention of these fees anywhere on their site and was not mentioned until they wasted nearly an hour and a half of our time.DO NOT waste your time. OVERPRICED LUXURY BS!
Jessica and her team are awesome! She’s a welcomed addition to the management team. A consummate professional, who delivers consistent & timely results. Her team is always going the extra mile to address my concerns, thank you!#winning#produces results!Best regards,Eugene
We absolutely love our place here so far! Kayla from the leasing office was extremely friendly, competent, and went above and beyond to get us into the perfect home for our family. We just moved in, but the first impression is very strong!
Great Complex!! Love that there are two pools, in case one is crowded. The gym has a variety of machines to work out on, so no gym membership needed. Also having hardwood floor instead of carpet in the bedroom makes cleaning a breeze!! The staff is so cool, Keycha was extremely welcoming and helpful with my move in process. I’m loving my new home.
When touring they try to same day sign you. Its a shady practice that takes advantage of the customer via pressure, and seeds doubt into the mind of whats wrong with these apartments if theyre trying to get me to buy it now. I instantly lost all interest after that. Keep these shady practices at the car dealership, not apartment complexes.response to the owners - please dont give me your generic response, it proves you care very little to make improvements. I dont have concerns, I am straight out telling you that your practice of same day signing is wrong and manipulative, taking advantage of young adults who are looking to find their first home. There is no discussion to be had, because there is nothing to discuss.
The only 5 star reviews are from people who dont even live here or only had a tour and were pressured to leave a review.Lived here 2.5 years. New owners are horrible. Tried (poorly) to pressure us into renewing our lease at almost double the current rate. Bought a house instead but many people (mainly the many elderly) got scared and signed to renew. Everyone else has moved out. Many empty apartments. Talking to front desk attendants is like dealing with 9 year olds. Gates and doors never lock. Buildings are beyond repair (every room in our apartment had water damaged ceilings) and neighbors we had are suing due to mold in the windows and elevators being broken all the time in order to break their leases. Put up gaudy entry signs they banged out on Microsoft Word and they do not tend to landscaping. Really sad for Stone Oak; many agree.Receive a package in the mail that goes to the office? Make sure you ask three times in a row because theyll tell you they dont have it and it takes them going back to check three times to find it. Its there every time!Water bill went up our last month by double despite the fact we werent even living there. Told us it must be a leak despite the fact the bill is split by building and occupancy. They did not correct the bill.Only highlights were our 4th floor apartment had real hardwood floors and an excellent view of the golf course - that garnered the 1/5 stars.
My grandmother moved into these apartments awhile back. She was very happy here at first but there seems to be a big issue with management turnover. As a result work orders and maintenance is not attended to in a proper manner. I live out of town and come back every few months. And over a three month period I have seen the same issues exist now that existed three months ago when I came here. 1. Front gates are broken and anyone can get in. As a result a neighbor told me five cars were broken into and when she reported it as witness management told her that there are no cameras. In addition I have seen commercial trucks come through the open gate and unload tons of garbage and left it over flowing in the dumpsters. This will create a problem with rats and bugs. 2. The ice maker in my grandma apartment has been broken since October and it is now January. My mother and grandmother said they have reported it but when I went to the office yesterday they said there was no report on file. So are you saying my elderly relatives are lying or did you all lose the work orders? I filed another report so let’s see if it gets done. 3. Elevators in main building have broken lights and knobs. 4. Machines in gyms or not maintained, are dirty and in disrepair. 5. The front door to the rec room was wide open and unlocked and a neighbor said this happens often and she has found former employees of the management company sleeping in the Rec room with their children and random people walking in off the street. All of these issues can be easily addressed with proper follow ups, communication and organization. But it is clear that things are being neglected. It’s a nice property but for the price it should be managed better. I would not personally live here and pay these prices for this service and I live in NYC, which is the most expensive city in the country. So that is saying a lot.
I was helping my friend with apartment hunting and this was by far the best one we have come across. The property itself is amazing and we were given a tour by Tyler who really went above and beyond for us. She was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable about everything and so patient in answering all of our questions and showing us the various floor plans and units available. Overall it was a great experience!
Took a tour at the complex & wow. The stone oak area is really nice and Cypress overlooks the rolling hills of San Antonio. The facility was really clean, had a full gym, large and customized floor plans.Dedrick did a great job finding a unit that fit the things I was looking for in an apartment and made the tour and application process a smooth experience.Cypress at stone oak is definitely one of my fav complexes I’ve seen in the stone oak area.
Bella did an excellent job working with us to get our apartment. They have help us get settled in to our new home.Donnie from maintenance was super about fixing our problem pieces. We are looking forward to staying for a long time.Mary G.
So we moved in about a month ago and the experience was awesome! Dedrick helped us thru the whole process with the application and making sure everything was good, I did read all the google reviews before we moved in an noticed that there was alot of great reviews about the staff but not to good of reviews about the apartments and the maintenance, for us being here one month it’s been great, the maintenance worker has showed up twice to fix a couple things here and there that we noticed after the move, and if we aren’t here for the service call they leave a note letting us know they showed up, yeah the trash does over flow but I noticed within the next day it’s gone, what do you expect with so many people living here it takes a little bit of time to compact the trash, but overall I highly recommend the apartments and they are great with all dog breeds that’s one of the main reasons we chose to live here, if you want great customer help I would highly recommend contacting Dedrick
Today I had the pleasure of touring amazing place Cypress by Mernerva. She was friendly and inviting. She asked the right questions about what we were looking for in a living space. She met our expectations and beyond.!! Excellent customer service very knowledgeable of her facility!! She made the whole entire process so welcoming and we are excited to be a part of the Cypress family👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Unfortunately there are more bad then good things to say about this company.Lets strart off with the good ones. There are many upgrades being done with the exterior of the buildings, such as re painting and repair of all the roofs of all buildings and houses (cottages). Changes to landscaping, better patio for all 1st floor and houses etc. But thats where it all ends. They do open contracts, they only give you the meat and potatoes, but not all the details of fees and what other additional services you will be having in the future. So expect a surprise on your future monthly bill when you are settled in.Front desk and management has good theatrics, they make you feel great and feel that things will go well or get done. Since its all theatrics, you will notice that is not the case. The gym never gets cleaned. Parking was free, thats no longer the case. Your supposed to have one assigned but they give you a bogus number. Trash use to be picked up every day, now its 3 times, if you get lucky.I suggest to check other reviews from other websites and you will see more horror stories from this place. Overall it is not a luxury Apartment whatsoever, it is just a regular apartment complex. There are better luxury Apartments in Stone Oak this is not one of them.
I had the most pleasant experience here today. LaKeycha was so helpful in helping me retrieve my package that was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. While on the property, I looked at floor plans and WOW beautiful layouts. I will be scheduling a full tour soon. My experience definitely has me considering living on this property.
Can’t thank Katie enough for all that she did to help locate an apartment for me and my daughter! Of all the apartments I visited, I could tell Katie and the rest of the staff at Cypress sincerely cared about finding us a place when we needed it. They were extremely helpful addressing all of my questions and made me feel like I wouldn’t just be leasing a space but I’d be joining a close knit community. I would definitely recommend the Cypress at Stone Oak if you’re looking at leasing an a apartment!
My husband and I moved to San Antonio from out of state. Megan and Minerva were brilliant with their dedicated service! They were there for every question we had, sent us videos of the apartment, and helped us with other non-apartment things around the area. Stellar work by both of these ladies. Also, a special shout out to Karen, who helped us quickly take care of an issue. We love it here!
I want to take a moment to appreciate Cassi! She is extremely helpful abs prompt with her response. I believe she will provide great leadership at this community
Marquis at stone oak is a beautiful complex to live at. I’ve been living here since 2011 and would highly recommend this place to friends and family. The staff led by Jennifer are amazing and helpful at all times very approachable and see that whatever needs you have are met on time. The pool areas are delightfully beautiful and peaceful and is always highly maintained.Great gym facilities for you to workout this was recently upgraded and made even more spacious and has all the equipment for everyone’s needs.I have lived at other apartments in the city that anyone could be wandering around your door but this place has the added bonus of secured entry into the buildings and has enclosed staircases and elevators that take you to your floor of living giving it a hotel style of living. It makes you feel safe and very private.Highly recommend marquis at stone oak to anyone I love this place
Recently moved to Stone Oak Love the area and I must say I had my doubts about this Apartment complex but let me just say the staff here are freaking amazing ! I never felt more understood and appreciated. Any issue I had they have addressed it and went above and beyond to accommodate! If you’re looking for a place to call home this is it! Shout out to Kristin & Bella they are wonderful love them so much! Great place to stay
Absolutely in love with this place! Dedrick was super helpful during the process. He even took the time to remember what I liked and show me features based off that I was in school and a teacher. If youre looking to rent I would highly recommend Dedrick!
Jennifer Valdez is the front office manager at the Marquis Stone Oak. Jennifer is amazing she has first class customer service. She has helped me a lot since I’ve been at the Marquis. She very friendly and personable. I love how she always eager to help and on point. She is very charismatic and always smiling. When ever I have a problem with my apartment she makes it a priority to get it fixed promptly. She made me enjoy my time here and I certainly will renew my lease because of it.
Normally don’t give reviews but here at cypress at stone oak we have an excellent manager Megan. She is always there when I need her and always willing to take care of my needs. Also the property is looking beautiful. She truly cares for her tenants and the property. If your looking for a place look at cypress at stone oak and ask for Megan you will not regret yet.
Please consider speaking to tenants of how the living situation is here. This apartment complex is not luxury. The blue makes it look ghetto. Gates are always broken and the door code does not work but there are signs that say close the door haha. Cars get broken into a lot. The rent amount plus amenities are ridiculous. Cypress at Stone Oak would be 10 times better if management cared about tenants needs. Moving here was the worse. They promised my family and I a beautiful unit and on our move-in-date, they did not know we were moving in. They ended up giving us a random apartment that was filthy with doors that did not lock, completely messed up blinds, bugs, dirty floors, and the showers were yellow! The first month they overcharged us on rent and did not refund our money then a month later they requested another deposit. They forced us to pay and again they did not give us a refund. That same month maintenance came only once to fix the dryer and I called again to make another request. It turns out my kitchen sink got clogged and its still clogged! There is mold coming up and no matter how much we clean, its still there. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU JUST MONEY! I see maintenance working from the side of our apartment, people coming to paint outside, and even men putting new appliances where units are empty. They even promised us a pretty patio with grass and all they have done is thrown big rocks. They charge for everything. Oh and lastly each tenant is forced to pay a prorated amount for spectrum when some people just have internet. Please go check out other apartments that CARE ABOUT TENANTS.
DO NOT RENT HERE.Monthly HIDDEN FEES. And don’t even think about getting your deposit back they will charge you for the previous tenants destructions!Ridiculous!!!Also gates were always open, roaches at the pool and hallways stink, elevators breaking, also AC units Breakdown in summer! Good luck .. Don’t sign the lease.
Bella was so freaking awesome omfg. She is so kind I love her like she’s my own child. Protect her at all costs! If I could give her more than five stars I would! Love love love! Blessings ❤️❤️
I absolutely love this property! I also had the best experience at an apartment ever! First thing that I would like to highlight is the inviting energy from the staff as soon as I walked through the door. Krystal was professional and knowledgable and truly made the decision to stay here effortlessly. Im so exited to call this place home soon and when you do go to check it out, ask for Krystal! She is the absolute best!!
Cassi gave me a tour! She was great and had wonderful hospitality!
My family and I loved living at The Marquis at Stone Oak. We were there a little over two years and still miss it today. The office staff was efficient and always accommodating. Sybil in the office was particularly supportive, professional and always eager to help in any and every way especially during the difficult time we went through with the pandemic. Highly recommend living here. The location is wonderful too, we loved it there!
Moving is never easy, especially when it’s in a hurry and you’re trying to find the perfect new place to live. Fortunately Rachel at the Marquis was not only super responsive and helpful but made the experience truly amazing. I had several other places in mind but my decision most definitely was made because of how incredible the customer service was. I’m excited to be a resident here and I will recommend anyone and everyone to deal with her along the process.... wouldn’t have had it any other way!
Moriah showed me around to several units and answered all of my questions. She compared options for me and showed me parking and garage options. Her staff has been wonderful and greet me with a smile. Minerva was so wonderful in helping me navigate on my phone. I am very pleased to call Cypress at Stone Oak my new home. I know I have made a great decision and am so happy to be part of this community. Thanks to your entire team for helping me start my new journey
Callie was so helpful and we vibed well when we first met. I had lost my key and she made me a key twice because there was a mixup the first time. The staff is so kind, helpful, and want to get things done it seems. I’m excited to see how new management will make this place better. Thanks Callie and Kristen for all your help and being so kind!
Dedrick is a very positive part of your team. He was very patient and went out of his way to be of help to us. Extremely personable and nice . Looking forward to seeing more of him around the complex!
Megan and Nay did an excellent job helping me in a time of need. The new management company that has taken over is a VAST improvement from what it once was. These young ladies went above and beyond for me when I needed help and they rose to the call. I will be renewing my lease here again in July because of how wonderful they were to me and I will always appreciate their kindness
I cant tell you how many times the leasing office has messed up our billing charges and they wont even give us a itemized bill. This is their 10th time charging random fees without itemized bills. We have been here for two years and always paid early and keep having issues, its like they dont know how to store paperwork. 🙄 Advice to future residents: keep checking their online billing system so they dont mess you around either. This place is too expensive to have so many screw ups.
I had an awesome tour of the property with Minerva Garcia. She was super welcoming and I loved her charisma. She managed to squeeze me into her schedule last minute, which I greatly appreciated because I was visiting from CA. Overall, I loved the property. 10/10 recommend.
I had the pleasure of being helped by Dedrick and he was so incredibly helpful and attentive to all of my questions! I am so grateful for the great customer service. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking into apartments at Cypress at Stone Oak.
Amazing experience with Marisa and Minerva!!! Its so scary moving from out of state and these two ladies have made it so easy and refreshing on helping this new chapter in my life. I HIGHLY recommend anyone and everyone that is look for a new place to call home to work with these two! The word thank you can’t describe how thankful i am!
I wish I could give this place zero star.first of all do not believe any of those 5 star reviews since they all fake and not done by actual residents.after living here for almost 7 years this place has become so trash to the point you can call it section 8 living.since the new owner (the conner group) took over this place has gone down hill.trash and garbage are everywhere, pet urine smell in every hallway every staircase every entry way and every elevator in every building.no maintenance what so ever, you are on your own if something breaks in your apartment. gym equipments are broken and filthy, swimming pools are dirty and ever get cleaned.buildings are invested with roches and 🐀.they will charge you hundreds and hundreds of dollars every month for trash and water and never unheard of fees.ladies working at the office are rude and have a brain of 9 year old.gates always broken , cars are broken into every night.trust me its not safe to live here.if you like the stone oak area there are a way way better apartments than this.
If you are looking for apartment thats over the top and thats worth paying for and then some. This place has it all. The apartments looks like a single family home. These apartments are truly a home away from home. Then look no further. Ask to speak with the lovely Ms. CALI, she is the most amazing person you could ever meet. 😊
This complex recently went under new management and I have to say Megan is a wonderful and refreshing addition to the office. My husband and I were not happy with the previous agents. Many issues were never addressed or even cared about. Megan was so kind and helpful and really made an effort to listen and help in any way she could.
Marquis at Stone Oak is one of the best apartments around San Antonio. The living area is amazing and the services is fantastic! I received so much help from their very own leasing consultant named Addie. She helped me find and process the apartment I want. Very excellent service overall. 5/5, really do recommend to anyone looking for a luxury apartment. Truly the best.
Went on a tour of this place, the website was very misleading. The property its self looks aged, once in you can see the wear and tear on walls and floors. The website says granite and stanless steel 8 burner, nope, its old school formica, low cost steel sinks and worn out glass top stove. The hallways are worn out carpet and the buildings resemble the hotel from the shining. The only good thing was the gracious young lady tha5 helped me that was helping from a Dallas property. Great if youre just starting out, but I definitely wont be renting here.
Be prepared for service requests that go ignored for months. Ive submitted 4 requests since October for things as simple as having the air filter changed and nothing is ever done, Ive contacted management numerous times to get the run around, am told I would have someone call me back and no one ever does. In the last two weeks Ive been told Ill have a manager call you back three times. Apparently theyve replaced the whole staff recently and yet the incompetence is still thriving. Trash in the hallways, elevators are always broken and the main gates have worked for about 3 weeks in total over the last year. The limited access doors to the buildings are always our of order as well. This management company cannot keep anything working here.
Pretty disappointed to the fact that I made an appointment at 4:45pm, arrived at 4:38pm and after 40 minutes, I was still waiting.I notified the agent Isabella that I would be leaving and had no response.I received a call at 7:00 pm and the excuse of its the summer and were pretty busy, so you want to reschedule it for tomorrow AM?,Just rescheduling doesnt solve it.If this is when youre trying to attract the residents, I cant imagine the service once youre in the door.We all are busy. If you cant compromise with a schedule, just take walk-ins.
I was looking for an apartment in the area, and I came across this one. I met one of the workers, Bella Stafford, outside of the complex and it was the best customer service I have encountered in my search so far. Super friendly, knew the answers to all of my questions, and made my experience overall a great one! Highly recommend asking for her if you are looking for information about this building.
I have lived here for about 9 days now but I have been amazed on how great the staff is. Jennifer has been great assisting us getting an apartment and I am loving it so far.EDIT: I ended up living here for 3 years and loved it. It was one of the best apartment communities that I have lived in and even with COVID-19 it didnt affect the services. Still love the fact that Jennifer is now the Director and will miss speaking with her whenever I picked up my email. All of you have been awesome!
Amazing staff! Tyler was so helpful in the office! I had a package delivered to the wrong apartment and she tracked it down, held it in the office, and called me to let me know she had it waiting. Really appreciate the level of customer service she provided!
Dedrick had the best customer service at an apartment complex that I have experienced! He was down to earth and listened when I described what I was looking for in a new home. He provided what I asked and then some.
Excellent customer service. We moved here 8 months ago after a medical emergency put our life on hold. While we have been trying to work out what is next for our family, Derek and Jennifer have worked with us on our contract and payments as we get ready to move to Australia. Without their assistance it would have been a nightmare.Maintenance staff are awesome, Bobby, Lauren, Rich, Jose, and Nick are polite, always ready to help and super responsive. Makes living here awesome.
A saving grace for Cypress. A young man, Andrew arrived to repair the disposal, sink, and other concerns in the apt we had just moved into. Not only did he do repairs, he was speedy, knowledgable and obviously a hard working guy. What was most refreshing was his courteous manner to both myself and my husband. He assessed the problems and said he’d return which we thought might be the next day, but 10 min. later he returned w/ all the tools, ladder and equipment to make the repairs. At the very least he restored our faith in the system.
Let me begin this review by saying that I have lived here 5 years. Therefore I have experienced many changes. To date Amber is definitely the most positive change that has taken place. Cypress at stone oak under her leadership is experiencing a total makeover. Every aspect of the complex either is being or has already been updated. From the new roof to the beautiful grounds, improvements or total renovations have been done. Chesley has been able to get maintenance back on the right track and everyone is feeling the change. Amber, Kristen, and bella are sincere, very personable, attentive, empathetic, and she gets the job done! The Cypress at stone oak is my home now and not just another apartment. Check it out!!!
We have lived here over 2 years now and from day one the staff has been friendly and inviting and has made the transition to the apartment life such an amazing experience. The community is beautiful and the community are friendly and so inviting from day one. This community is located in the heart of Stone Oak and you are in the middle of so many things to do within a few minute drive to anything.
Just recently move in and it is amazing. Rented a 4 BR/3.5 Bath and it far outshines all other comparable in the area. Rooms are very big and the Kitchen is fantastic w/Chef quality appliances. Rachel (Leasing Consultant), as well as the entire staff, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and not pushy like most other agents when I was out looking for a place to live. Because the complex is sooo big, its very convenient that they have multiple pools, gyms and areas to entertain guests outside of your apartment. I highly recommend living here.
From the moment I applied it was a simple process and I was taken care of each and every way until move in. Krystal was amazing, reassuring and very detailed. I was truly pleased with how I was approached. I was also pleased with the appliances installed and flooring. It made the apartment so much more better!
Bella is awesome!!! Super sweet and was very helpful when it came to my sister and I looking for an apartment or any questions we asked. We absolutely LOVE our new home!! 😊
Just wanted to share my experience. We toured the apartment and Tyler was outstanding. Prompt, friendly and extremely professional. Answered all of our questions and made us feel very welcomed! Highly recommend the property and especially Tyler.
Serving my time and ending up here has been nothing but a misfortune. Truly since day one there has been nothing but issues here with little resolve provided by management. What I imagine is just poor communication and just not having the tenants best interest in mind. Certainly not luxury as claimed. What luxury apartment as roaches and consistent issues with hot water.. The place was just dirty and I should have tried to get out of here from day one. There was literally dog food loose in the closet when I moved in, the place was not ready as promised. I needed a place to live and will finish my sentence here.
The first year here at this community have been very good! Bella has been a great person to count on in the front office if I ever have any questions
Besides offering the SA area a BEAUTIFUL property, HUGE floor plans and a six grill gas stove??? The ladies in the office are pretty incredible to meet and talk to. Tyler and Christine were sooo welcoming and helpful in discussing all aspects of their property. This is must check place if your looking for a new residence.
I enjoyed my tour here with the office staff, I felt welcomed from the beginning and the property is beautiful. They actually took the time to ask me what I was looking for and what’s important for me to Sind the perfect apartment. While I still don’t know if I will be moving to San Antonio, if i do Cypress at Stone Oak will forsure be the apartment community I apply for
Im in the process of relocating from Phoenix to San Antonio and I stopped by these apartments and took a tour with Tyler. Im pretty indecisive and picky when it comes to apartments so I wasnt sure if I wanted a one or two bedroom and Tyler was so patient with me and showed me both units available as well as went over different floorplans that would fit my lifestyle. She also followed up with me just to check in about my apartment hunting. This complex is definitely at the top of my list not only because of the location but also because of the awesome and friendly staff! Thanks Tyler! :)
Tyler was an Angel after 27 hours on the road and freezing temperatures, she was reassuring and full of knowledge and resources. The transition into the apartment was seemless and we are looking forward to a wonderful journey here in Texas. She’s definitely a keeper.
Cypress at Stone Oak is the best apartment complex I’ve ever rented from. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Any time a repair is needed, the response is usually on the same day. Facilities are always clean and operational. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bella, who showed me around this gorgeous property was so helpful, great communication and very friendly. Amazing view from balcony, love the vaulted ceilings, closet space, and hard floors. Thank you from Rowdy and I on the awesome 1bd/1ba penthouse.
I applied here but theyre not very professional. I decided to cancel the application. the rep said sorry and will issue refund. I followed up. they said wait 2 weeks but could take up to 30 days. I waited 2 weeks still no refund. I emailed again. then they said oh sorry its a check come pick it up....I live 3 hours away in Houston. then I get another surprise email saying I wont get a full refund. I am so glad I didnt go through with this place. terrible service and lots of lies. I can only imagine how the tenants must feel when they need something fix oh well send someone out tomorrow....then someone comes out 30 days later. Dont be fooled by the sweet talk to get you stuck in their contract and they dont deliver up to their words. A business who doesnt keep their word should be avoided.
My review is based on services received after moving out. A few weeks after turning in my key, I was emailed a bill with no explanation for the charge. I contacted the company who sent the bill and was told the charge was for utilities between the months of September – December. I explained to the company that before Cypress took over, in addition to the rent, the utility charges were paid every month. I was then told to contact Cypress to have the charges removed. I explained my issue to a manager at Cypress and was told she had to look more into it and would call me back. I never received a call, so I contacted Cypress again and explained everything to a representative. She eventually told me she did not know why I was charged, that it could take a week to figure out, and she would call me back. After two weeks of not hearing anything, I called the company back who sent the bill. Thankfully they understood my issue, explained how Cypress charges for utilities, and then removed all the invalid charges from my account. I never heard anything back from Cypress. My second issue involves not receiving my deposit. My lease ended on December 19th and I was told the deposit will be mailed and should be received in 5 to 6 weeks. It is now February and I have yet to receive the deposit. I called Cypress on 2/14 to see why the deposit has not been received and was told a manager would have to call me back. I was never contacted and called again on 2/18. I explained my issue to a rep who tried to look further into it. He was unable to provide me with any information and added me to the manager’s calendar to receive a call between 5pm – 6pm that evening. To no surprise I have yet to receive that call. Since Cypress is unwilling to respond, I have no choice but to legally involve someone (JAG) who can get my issue resolved.
Tyler was fantastic in assisting us in finding a new apartment. The tour was great, she spent a good amount of time ensuring we were going to find rhe exact apartement that fit our needs. Unfortunately this property did not have exactly what we were looking for. However, Tyler provided some contact information of a sister property that was more of what we were looking for.
I came to visit these apartments because I was looking to move as soon as possible. I was immediately met by Minerva and Moriah they were so kind, friendly and amazing. Had awesome knowledge on the surrounding area and what it had to offer. The prices were amazing especially with the market going up. Moriah gave me an in depth tour and I really loved the gym and the fact they have two pools! Minerva was super efficient with getting the paperwork done as smoothly as possible. I recommend this apartment complex above any other in San Antonio!
Unbelievable dire maintenance…there is NONE! The flooring of upper units are extremely noisy, and not stable…causes light fixtures, ceiling fans to shake; cover of smoke alarm knocked off 3 times; the gates that were supposed to be fixed after 7 months of not working, locked everyone in for 5 hours plus they charged tenants $100 in order to go through the gates to your unit…. Multiple maintenance issues not addressed…all the tenants are complaining constantly. My biggest complaint is the elevators always breaking down, 7 times in 8 months, I’m handicapped and fell down the dark staircase and now have to undergo surgery due to their negligence. Tenants are now complaining about rats and roaches, which I, luckily, have not encountered. My car was stolen from the tenant parking area;, my neighbor’s car was broken into and the Sheriffs department apprehended the suspect in the neighbors vehicle. My next step is to call Bexar County to report all of these ongoing issues…
We had an awesome tour the pools was amazing and Lakeisha was so attentive to our needs. We love the apartment and our neighbors. It’s a awesome neighborhood and the views are amazing. She really made experience stemless.
I have lived here for almost 4 years and have enjoyed the whole atmosphere of this apartment complex, the new crew and Peyton especially have been very helpful in getting things handlers that the previous owners kind of slipped on. So far loving the new changes and updates the new owners are incorporating!
The staff was extremely helpful. Bella was our main point of contact, who answered all our questions and gave us a clear breakdown on what to expect. 10/10 would recommend.
Just toured Cypress at Stone Oak with Bella. She has a great presence and personality. It was an awesome tour and she was very helpful. I love the property and amenities.
Tyler helped me find exactly what I was looking for and the value of the the apartment with awesome pricing for the monthly rate is beyond amazing. Tyler was funny and kind and laughed at all of my non-funny dad jokes. Such a sweet person and very considerate of my budget and needing to discuss this with my roommate.
I recently met with Tyler, and she was FANTASTIC. I don’t have enough words to describe how patient she was, and how detail oriented she was throughout the process. The place is beautiful, and the views are amazing! 5/5 Recommend always!
I have been living in one of the lovely Cottages since December 2013, and this complex has undergone about 4-5 owners within the time Ive been here. Having not lived in a lease property since I was 22 years of age, it has been an adjustment for me; however, other than normal things that occur even in your own home, I must say that overall I think this is an excellent place to live. The newest and current management team are very friendly and professional, and they are quick to respond to any issue Ive had, which have been few. I highly recommend living at Marquis at Stone Oak!
We have lived in the Presidential side of the complex since July 2007 and we love our spacious and luxurious apartment. Its true we have endured 5 owners and management companies, plus other inconveniences. But to us, its been worth it. We have all the comforts of a home, with no responsibilities for maintenance. I am heartened by some of the resolutions to some major property work orders that till recently were unattended by previous administrations. Our newest owners are going the extra mile to give the luxury property a distinctive look. We foresee continuing to live here far into the future.
First of all, TYLER IS THE BEST! (Read til the end for Tyler’s awesomeness). We had a horrible move-in experience where we were shown one apartment, and promised an upgraded upon move-in. When move-in day came, we got an apartment that was COMPLETELY trashed, fixtures broken, ridden with black mold and mildew, it wreaked of animal pee, nothing had been replaced or cleaned from previous tenants, and there was trash everywhere. Fast forward, we were put into a new unit, in another building, immediately… which was great other than having to switch over all of the utilities! But everything has been decent since move-in except for minor repairs that were not fixed from previous tenant of our upgraded unit (I.e. blinds not replaced, damage to tile and not cleaned properly). All of this being said, apparently there have been some issues with the new management group but every problem that has come up, TYLER is the main one who has always responded to emails, texts, calls, answer questions, etc. I moved to TX from out of state with the help of family, which was still pretty painstaking but she has always been super helpful! They should pay her DOUBLE what they’re paying her now for how invaluable she is and her ability to smooth over situations that go awry for tenants! THANK YOU, TYLER!
I like my apartment very well I wish that the doors were bigger in my apartment and the whole building to be able to accommodate my wheelchair getting through. The handicap parking is horrible. When I got a doctors note to have them put in a parking spot for me they were not very helpful at getting it done and I ended up getting a garage that isnt that close to my apartment but at least I have a place to park now. They didnt even offer to take any price off the amount of the month garage rent for a lack of handicap parking or put in anymore parking spaces. I would recommend living at this apartment complex though as the staff is very nice and the maintenance has always been very good since I have been here. The view that I have off my balcony overlooking the golf course is beautiful and I love sitting outside everyday. The people that live in the community are very nice and helpful and I dont see moving out of here for a long while. They also helped me get into a nice place when other places wouldnt. Sybil, Derek, and Jennifer at the front office are great very nice people.
Bella was the sweetest! She was very informative and super helpful! If we plan on leasing here it will be with because of her incredible hospitality.
Be aware, elevators brake every weekend, (dont even have bottons)new management is more concern on making the outside look appealing however jacuzzi is also broken, pool is constantly dirty as well. Now for the most important part, if you have a work order put in, dont expect any resolution for months as there is only one guy working on orders (they dont last) is very disappointing as rent is high. Hope this helps someone!
The office staff is AWESOME! They are friendly, funny and helpful!! The maintenance staff is AMAZING...every need or want they complete the request within 24 hours or less!!!! Recently the apartment parking lot was full with nowhere to park. Management quickly investigated the problem and did not hesitate to action to resolve the issue. They discovered several people were parking in our complex that didnt live here! This cars were immediately towed away! WAY TO GO MARQUIS OF STONE OAK MANAGEMENT STAFF!! Thank you for taking care of your residents!!
Luxury should not even be in the name. Maybe junky apartments. Everything is old and no upgrades. Takes forever to get repairs done. They are so short staffed. This place is really a dump and you should stay away. Apartments are still a dump even with new owners. I advise everyone to runaway. I am out the door soon.
Tornice and Bella were awesome! I came with my best friend to see an apartment for him and his friend and they included me in everything and were so nice! A place to be for sure, and a smile on their face💜
Thank you so much Lakeycha, I had an awesome tour and I loved the amenities, I’m sure I made the right decision after being her for a few months. The improvements have been great and I love my apartment and my view. The office staff is my favorite and the payment system I was signed up for was cool as well. Thank you Lakeycha
