Where to start….hot water has been out several times, latest and greatest called Thursday told Isabella no hot water, called back Monday still no hot water, came Mon to fix worked 1 day, hot Tues repaired Wed. Front gate has been broken for wks, just repaired, ELEVATOR UPDATE is constantly broken see attached going on 2 wks this round, 4th Floor Apt yall do the math . Cleaned my dryer vent to hook back up 1 wk later it was fixed. They are now parking commercial construction trailers 3 in the parking lot and some kind of food truck and a couple of abandoned cars, so u get to listen to them hooking up trailers at 6am. If you like dirty stairwells and broken lights we got you covered, no landscaping check. And finally the Mgr Ive tried to contact her for over a wk with no response. So Ms Caleste F if you read this give me a call to discuss and possible walk Building 3 and let’s compare notes……

The only reason I am leaving this complex even one star is because they are located in The Rim so access to restaurants and experiences is easy. The property management team and the complex itself are not worth the money or time. The neighbors here are awful, I have never lived in between two worse neighbors. They are noisy, trashy, and rude. One unit is constantly stomping around late at night and early in the morning, I can hear them fighting consistently, or they are blasting music with no care in the world. I have seen trash on the ground outside their door more often than not. The other set of neighbors are always banging around, when I called patrol on them in the past they attempted to confront me in the middle of the night, when I told the property management team they were trying to open my door they did absolutely nothing even when I sent them a video they said I have “no proof.” Resident safety and comfort is the last thing this management team cares about. Trying to get any sort of peace in this place is next to impossible even during the day. Everything about the dirty halls and stairwells is true, 90% of the time the gym equipment is broken, the gym is dirty, the club room is mediocre, and the pool area is honestly nasty. I have never been more happy to be moving away from somewhere. There are mailroom break-ins that when mentioned are resolved with an email and “crime is everywhere” maybe if the gate actually worked people wouldn’t see this complex as such an easy target. The community trash cans are always overflowing and filthy. The entire property either smells like trash or animal because people refuse to clean up after their pets and the only repercussions are getting an email saying “do it or else”. Just this week I walked into the elevator at 7 in the morning to find pizza smashed all over the floor, several times there has been animal pee on the elevator floor (building 2). The maintenance team is decent but will fight back with you if you have an issue they do not see as urgent. I have not met one Mission Rock Residential employee here who actually cares about their residents. Their trash policy and their automatic emails are the only things that seem to matter to them. I would never recommend moving here to anyone.

Ive lived at Henley at the Rim for 2 years now and Im also an apartment locator. I can honestly say this is the best staff Ive ever had at an apartment complex. Michelle and Aliza are the 2 leasing agents, Isabella is the assistant manager, and Stephanie is the manager. All of them have been more than accommodating while Ive been here. They respond in a timely manner, and attend to any issues I may have! I highly recommend living at Henley for anyone interested. 10 out of 10!!!

I’ve been living here for a 1 year, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! The management team, especially Isabella, goes above and beyond to address any issues quickly and efficiently – she is incredibly reliable and always makes sure residents feel cared for. From maintenance requests to general concerns, Isabella ensures everything is handled smoothly, and her responsiveness is unmatched.The community is also extremely pet-friendly, making it a great place for those of us with furry companions. Beyond that, it’s safe and quiet, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes coming home feel like a retreat. I can walk around at any time and feel secure, and the neighbors are respectful and friendly, adding to the overall peace of mind. I’m so grateful to live in a place with such dedicated management and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful, hassle-free place to live!

I wish I had read the reviews about ROACHES before moving in. My so called luxury apartment is infested with ROACHES and because management thinks there is no infestation they are dragging their feet to get pest control to come. I’ve had pest control already come several times and they literally barely spray the floor when the roaches are in the cabinets , behind the appliances, in the dish washer, and now in the bedroom. I am disgusted so if you are fine with roaches coming out anytime you cook or eat this is the place for you.Also don’t expect the pool to be cleaned every Monday like they claim is happening. The hallways are also disgusting, landscaping is minimal, gates are always broken, and it is not quiet on the weekends. I’ve had random strangers knocking at my door at 3 or 4 am.

I’ve lived here for 2 years but now living to be closer to work. I had an amazing experience because of a specific staff member, Michelle. She has been ABSOLUTELY amazing from the start till the end. If you want a smooth move in and someone who cares, I would HIGHLY recommend her! Great location with view of the fireworks at 6 flags every weekend :)

Property upkeep and maintenance is absolutely awful. This property is located in The Rim shopping center and is generally marketed as a high-end, luxury complex, but property management has done little to nothing to keep it that way.- The landscaping is terrible and there has been no attempt to fix it. Its just dirt. There has been talk since the beginning of the year about addressing this but nothing has been done. For the longest time it was just a bunch of dead plants from the winter freeze a couple years ago. They finally got those pulled out but haven’t replaced them or put new mulch down or anything.- The water pumps across the walkway are constantly are overflowing onto the sidewalk and in the dirt, forming a large puddle thats become a breeding ground for mosquitoes.- The back gate has been broken for a month now and all thats been done about it is yellow caution tape.- The covered parking roof by Building 3 was damaged several weeks ago and all thats been done about is yellow caution tape. From the looks of it, it appears to be a safety hazard as well.If you want to live at The Rim, don’t move here. Literally every other complex in this area has better upkeep for the same price.

Updating my review. The moment they handed me their thick dinosaur FOB, I knew this place wasn’t going to be what I expected. The first time I stepped into my unit, the door was UNLOCKED, and the AC wasn’t working. The maintenance guy kept making excuses saying all units do this, etc etc. Whatever. Don’t get a unit building 1 unless if you want to be woken up by garbage trucks coming through the strip mall at 5am and cars revving their engines. It’s a beautiful view of the Rim, but I couldn’t stand the noises. You are way better off elsewhere. Anyways, my unit in building one had a major black ant problem. I couldn’t even leave a crumb of bread out on the counter overnight without waking up to black ants all over it. Gross. “Pest control” was just a guy getting a paycheck. I was home when he showed up, and he didn’t even spray the areas I had told him where the ants were coming from. Plus, the spray did absolutely nothing. One day, they sent out a mass email to residents mentioning building 1 will be undergoing power washing on such and such dates. And to make sure we’re putting towels at our front door to avoid water from seeping in. Those days come around and nothing happens. A week goes by and no power washing happens so I remove the towel, and of course! The next day I come home from work with dried up water all over my kitchen floor on a day they did NOT mention the power washing was going to happen. Don’t say you’re going to do something on a specific day if you’re not going to follow through with it!!! Then I start hearing this knocking noise above my unit. Which my dog was terrified of. I kept reaching out to leasing numerous times if it doesn’t get fixed, he will cause damage to the woodwork out of fear. Of course, they moved like molasses having a tech come out to inspect. Unfortunately, my point of contact with this situation was Celeste. And she had ZERO communication skills. And each time I’d come home from work, I’d see her just aimlessly walking around the property, lollygagging. It’s no wonder she didn’t last long. The property was nice enough to get me out of my lease because the pipe issue was beyond their budget I guess. But the damage had already been done to the woodwork well before I notified them I’m leaving. They refused to fix it and said it’s my responsibility to fix. And even had the AUDACITY to tell ME to come pick up the supplies and repaint the woodwork MYSELF! LOL. See screenshot. The only savior of this place was Aliza. She was the only one who had any common sense in the office. Hence the generous two stars. The apartments are becoming very outdated compared to other properties in the area. The TV in the spin room is inoperable. Gym dumbbells are literally falling a part. And are missing weight sets. The walkway between building 3 and the pool is super dark at night. The lights weren’t working when I had left.

The community is quiet, has nice amenities and awesome views. Aliza was great to work with and made the application process quick and easy. I had a couple minor things that needed maintenance but the team addressed them very quickly and did good work. Id recommend coming by if youre looking for an apartment thats very convenient to the RIM and LA Cantera

I absolutely love my apartment at Axis at The Rim. I moved in 4 months ago from Tribute at The Rim, and can honestly say I made the right choice. The pool is always clean, I have had no noise complains thus far, and the amenities are amazing here. One of the most memorable moments, was being introduced to Krystle Botello. I have worked with many apartment managers in the past, but most were not as memorable as Krystle. She takes a personal approach to her work and talks to you as a person, not a prospective tenant. For anyone looking for a new apartment, head to the office and ask for Krystle.

We have had a very lovely experience in the last 6 months at the Henleys apartments. Its pretty nice and quiet. The pool and surroundings are always clean, and management usually takes care of any issues within 2 days or so.It was a little upsetting that the elevator was broken for a few weeks (very inconvenient), but they got around it.

I’ve lived in this apartment complex for three years, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Throughout my stay, I have never had any issues with bugs or pests, which is a huge relief. The neighbors have always been quiet and friendly, creating a pleasant and peaceful living environment.One of the standout aspects is the safety; I have never had any problems with my vehicle being broken into. It’s a great feeling to know that my car is secure.Maintenance has been excellent, always resolving any issues within 48 hours. They go above and beyond, especially when it comes to AC problems, which they resolve within the same day. Their prompt and efficient service is truly commendable.Overall, this has been a fantastic place to live, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, quiet, and well-maintained apartment complex.

If you love roaches then you will love living here at the henley! i’ve been here for a little over a month and ive had a problem with roaches since BEFORE i moved in , i was told that problem would have been fixed but it hasn’t and nobody in the leasing office cares they’ll just tell you to have pest control spray once a week as if that will fix the problem, oh and not to mention pest control does not even come once a week even though it is taken out of your rent. I am very regretful that i signed my lease with no knowledge of this problem and if i knew then what i knew now i would’ve saved myself the stress and moved into somewhere else that is “luxurious” and pest free. Please DO NOT move here

I am leaving this review as a visitor, not a resident. My mom moved in this complex July of 2023, and the first unit she got was infested with roaches. The roaches were coming from behind the oven, from the sink, the fridge, just everywhere. It was a horrible, stressful move for her, so they offered to move her into a different unit later that week. She had to schedule movers again, and I think the apartments gave her like 100-200$ credit, but that still did not cover that second move. Anyway, she just moved out since her lease was up, and they are charging her $300ish for a deep clean and carpet clean. This complex is filthy, especially the hallways, and just the fixtures and everything in her apartment were so dingy and cheap. I saw her apartment upon move out, and the carpet/flooring was in the same condition from when she moved in. If roaches are your friends, then this is the place for you. She probably sent me a text at least once a week with a roach either in her dresser, on the wall, or the floor, and she is a clean person. I don’t know what that pest fee is for because something’s not right to see that many roaches on a consistent basis. I’m sure she’ll be posting her review later with pictures.

Been living at the complex going on 2 years, in my experience this is one of the best apartment complexes in the area. Incredible views and great floor plans. The staff is always wonderful and willing to help in any way they can, Isabella and Michelle are amazing. I highly recommend Henley for anyone looking for great views at The Rim for a great price.

SOOO grateful I moved out of here. The roach issues I had were insane. I called multiple times and pest control did next to nothing but spray around. Then I sent an email to them with pictures of roaches literally coming out of my wall socket and no reply. Many people told me they had the same issues in that building. Aside from that, the gates were broken during majority of my lease, parking is a pain at night, and few pick up after their dogs (in the minimal spaces you can walk them). My blinds were broken when I moved in, then they replaced them months later..with more broken blinds. Yes, location and views were great, but 1000% NOT worth it.

Loud neighbors that rev their cars in the middle of the night/early morning. Thin walls and floors so you can hear people stomping around and blasting music. Plus cops appear regularly to deal with domestic issues /assaults.

Last year and the year before an mail was sent that they are going to clean the hallways because I reported that theres dog vomit, dog piss especially towards the elevator. Guess what now the dog vomit is dry, dog piss are dried up. They never do what they say theyre going to do. Another thing last year an email was sent that theyre going to fix balconies, to this day nothing. I even mentioned it to the maintenance that the ceiling in our balcony is falling apart. The best part was I went to the office telling them that someones dog pist on our door and they just said theres nothing we can do about that. One of the girls giggles as I was walking out.It makes me sad that this beautiful apartment is going down slowly but surely.

Absolutely everything about the place and location is perfect. However I do/did have a problem with only one trash bin available for cardboard/recyclable trash. It seems that many people were moving in like us, and moving out. One bin is completely unacceptable for so so much cardboard trash. An apartment of that size should have in the very least 2 or 3 bins. The bin was full by midday and I saw other tenants struggling to dispose of cardboard as we did.

Not a safe community & lots of maintenance issues...On the surface these apartments look nice and are definitely convenient. But maintenance is poor if you have an issue.1) waited 3 months for my running toilet to get repaired.2) waited 3 weeks for an ant infestation from apartment next door- finally sprayed the apartment myself.3) Threatened by subcontractor that works on the property all the time- he got really aggressive and said he knew where I lived and what my vehicle looked like. Manager refused to do anything so I had to file a police report. The guy hid somewhere on the property so the police couldnt find him when they arrived. Management refused to ask him to leave and stated he was allowed to be on property. If I didnt feel safe to call police so I did. Also called corporate office but only voice-mail. Manager snook out back door of office and left early for the day instead of making sure I felt safe or helping police find subcontractor.4) My neighbor went for 3 weeks without AC and finally had to call corporate to get it fixed (its 103° in Texas).

Closed the pool on July 4th holiday. This is negligent as we have 100 degree summer and pay for a swamp to sleep in. Message the manager and never get a response Mission Rock needs to amend the issues or leave. Been here 3 years and this is the worst job yet. Packages stolen, pool closed, gate issues. All were not problems until this management company took over. Even when reported they just don’t respond to inquires about what’s being done about the issues. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

Since change in Management to Henley, Poor customer service and support. Building and apartment is starting to fall apart. Questions are not answered professionally, gate is always broken, gate remote has been reset and still doesnt work when gates are actually working or on the gym access, apartment is too expensive for what its worth. Been a very low maintenance tenant and have been here for 4 years and feel like when needing something, its a hassle.

If I could put 0 stars I would. My gf lives here and has gotten her package stolen by residents multiple times. They were super nice when she signed but that customer service quickly disappeared when she became a resident. They don’t care about any problems that effect you. Had a package worth $500 get stolen almost immediately after it got delivered to the doorstep, of course none of there cameras work at all. Asked them and they just said it’s not their problem. Managements awful and just wants to take your money. I’ve also had my car broken into, this place truly sucks.

Horrible place, 0 stars, they dont even deserve 1. So many thieves and the management is awful. Had my package stolen and of course management said theirs nothing they can do, wont check any cameras, wont even lift themselves off their desks to search. I see multiple people with the same issues and they dont change because they dont care. They do not respect the tenants and they probably never will. Listen to the bad reviews and do not sign. There are other places at the rim that are MUCH nicer and have better management. Disgusting place to live, impatiently waiting to move out.

If I could give you zero stars, I would. This apartment complex is supposed to be. “luxury” but it’s all LIES! It’s a messy, and dirty complex and I would NEVER recommend anyone to spend their hard earned money here. One of the biggest issues here is the theft. Packages, car parts, break-ins it’s ridiculous. And even telling management about these issue is a complete joke, they’ll tell you they’re going to “work” on security however, they don’t do anything! They brush you off after you lose hundreds of dollars on packages that are being delivered to the door and random people are picking them up. They do not have any cameras to catch any theft and you’re responsible for any damages that weren’t even done by YOU. This place is truly a joke. This is my fifth time getting a package stolen and they have done nothing about it, they don’t even show emotion when I tell them, they just say “oh well, you know how it goes.” So disrespectful. I CANNOT wait until I move out. If you take anything from this review, just have some self-respect, and please do not sign here.

Been a tenant here for about 4 months and it has been great.Few key pros: Parking! There is an abundance of parking spaces. And even if you need to park far from your unit, there are only 3 buildings that are tightly knitted together. So your walk is still not even far.Maintenance is very quick to respond. The 3 issues Ive noted were dealt with same day on every occurrence, usually within 1-2 hours.The management has been quick sending out community emails about any kind of issues or repair work that may affect you. Very proactive and great communication.This complex is definitely worth it. Obviously inside the Rim is extremely awesome and convenient.Great management, great communication, parking is super. Thats about all I personally ask for.

Ive been living here since January, Ill share a couple things about this place:1 - Dirty, management is often sending emails asking people to either clean their dog poop or to not throw trash in the common areas2 - Parking spots, youll have a 50/50 chance of parking close to your building. I dont mind the walk but some might3 - Elevator was broken down for 6wks and during that time management had no timeframe of when it was going to be fixed4 - Roaches, Ive been dealing with them for the past 16wks. Management has sent pest control MULTIPLE TIMES and they said we did not see any activity. They offered me another apartment that was more expensive than mine and where Id have to start a new 12 month lease5 - Leasing office is pretty much impossible to reach. Every time I call they never pick up the phone - one day I called them 6 times throughout the day and got no answer. Plus, they happen to close the office at random hours and return 30min before they close for the day6 - Safety, although this is a gated community I don’t remember the last time I saw the gates closed. They’re open 24/7 so anyone can come and go as they please. They now are hiring private security, shows how unsafe this place can beIf they really cared they’d do more than just send an automated message for this review. But they don’t

I moved in with my boyfriend around November of this past year and have loved every single moment of it. The community is always throwing awesome events for us like brunches, cookouts, food trucks, etc. I have never felt the need to review an apartment complex, but feel the need to now because of how impressed we are. Our home features nice appliances, modern looks, and not to mention was brand new! The office and maintenance staff have always been very attentive in answering any inquiries/requests we have. So glad to have signed on with a long lease :) Keep it up Aura!

I lived in Aura at the Rim for a year while I was in SA but had to relocate for work. My experience was really great to say the least! The management team was friendly and always helpful with anything I needed. The office environment was so welcoming every time I stepped in. Maintenance fixed any issue I had almost immediately, location is great because everything is so easily accessible, and the property is always nice and well kept. Any friends who came to visit were always so impressed with the property and how updated everything looked. If I ever move back, theyll be the first place I look to!

Called and set up an appointment for a Sunday. Leasing agent said they opened at 1pm which I said I could do, but then said 1:30 worked better for her. Got here and the office is closed and no one is here. Few people have come up and also left.Not the best experience for a potential tenant. Service at Infinity at the Rim next door was top notch. This is the first time I take the time to actually write a review on anything but I felt it was necessary to share my experience with Axis at The Rim. 1) They broke into my apartment which perhaps was out of their control but all they could say was sorry theres no cameras just call the police. I believe theyre working on installing cameras now but the lack of care for their residents was disappointing. Not once did they follow up or addressed any safety concerns 2) they charge for valet trash yet they miss picking it up and wont take it if they feel its too heavy but they dont forget to charge you! 3) I moved out for safety concerns and they are now trying to apply extra charges for a perfectly vacant apartment. Again I never write reviews but this place has by far been the worse, as a resident and move out process. I would NOT RECOMMEND.

The apartment and location are very nice, it’s convenient being at The Rim with all it has to offer. My apartment faced the highway and I hadn’t had any issues with noise from the highway, it’s barely even noticeable, if at all. Facing the highway has a nice view of part of the remaining hill country and San Antonio. Can even see the fireworks from Fiesta Texas during New Years and July 4th.The staff has been friendly and helpful. They like it when you come down for tea or coffee and have a nice chat with them. Mark has been very helpful with assisting in any way he can.Had some noise issues when I first moved in, Mark and Erica fixed that right away. They handled complaints in a timely manner. Assuming they’ve been told about it, they aren’t mind readers.My hot water was closer to warm than hot, I mentioned this to the head maintenance guy, Lashawn. It was fixed the next day. He and the rest of the maintenance staff have been great when it comes to any issues around my apartment, and the complex. They take care of maintenance issues in a timely manner. I highly recommend living at The Axis at the Rim!

I felt in love and moved in the next day!Ive been living here for couple days and all I can say is wow great property!! I couldnt believe the price for the location and apartment finish! You are not able to opt out if fees. We are required to have fetch deliver packages that UPS or USPS delivers for free. Fee is $15 a month and will be going up to $22. We used to have amazon lockers that worked successfully for me but they removed them and fetch (a third party delivery company) is required now. I have to call every couple of months to have them remove the no insurance fee even though I have provided documentation several times.

These are the best apartments in San Antonio. Great amenities. The new property manager of Axis at the Rim is very quick to respond to any concerns and helps in resolving any maintenance issues and accommodates to your requests. My apartment has the best view of the city and fireworks can be seen daily in summer from our balcony. I would highly recommend this apartment community to everyone.

UPDATE: I have been living here almost two weeks now and I am so happy I picked Axis at the RIM to live at. The move in process was very easy. There were only 3 things wrong with the apartment when we moved in and maintenance was there two days later to fix what they could (I never even put in a request, thats how great this complex is. they took it upon themselves to fix things I was happy living with) The front office staff is so helpful and supportive through the everything. They even called to make sure my move in was going well. hands down best experience ever.I havent even moved in yet but I have to say Marks customer service is BEYOND amazing, the units are priced perfectly for the location. I am beyond thrilled to have found this complex. I will absolutely recommend any one looking to move to look into this complex!

Ive worked with the Leasing Consultant Krystle many times! Her service and professionalism is amazing and refreshing! Especially for someone who deal with residents living accommodations on a consistent basis and at such a large volume! It is such a beautiful and well taken care of community! The amenities and location are amazing bonuses and the fact that management and staff work weekends as well SPEAKS VOLUMES! I would recommend this community to anybody! With such spacious and modern floor plans, whats not to love about this place??

Just wanted to share my wonderful experience!! The area is plentiful of great things to do and see. There are a number of beautiful apartments in the area. But...The reason im calling Axis at the rim home is not only the community has everything on my must have list but the staff made me feel like family.If your in your current apartment home search you like I, have been to a number of places. Before making my last stop at Axis at the rim I had visited a few others which allowed me the benefit of recognizing the difference in customer service id be receiving here as a resident they were friendly and funny the staff made my choice easy. DO NOT LIVE HERE! This was honest to God the worst place I have ever lived. Management was never quick to resolve a problem and they were the ones who usually caused them. Axis hired a company to come into my property without my knowledge to paint. They proceeded to ruin every piece of my outdoor furniture, tear down my lights and decorations and left them in a pile on the ground when they were finished. A couple thousand dollars in damage and Axis did absolutely nothing about it. I didn’t even get an apology. And this was just the tip of the iceberg. I’ve had multiple packages stolen when I lived there and again, management did nothing about it. Gates constantly broken so security is not guaranteed. 10/10 would never live here again.

Do not move here. This complex use to be amazing, but ever since this new management company moved in, its been absolutely horrible. Office staff is exceptionally rude (excluding one really sweet and wonderful lady), and they refused to do anything when storage lockers were getting broken into. They took down security cameras around the community, and dismissed the security patrol that use to keep the community safe at night. They take forever with the simplest requests. Seriously, choose another place to live. This isnt worth it.

This was by far the best apartment complex I have lived in. The management is super friendly and helpful! They get to know their residents and care about our opinions. Never had an issue here. Also, every time I have needed maintenance to check something for me they were always there the same day! Love this place and only left due to a job relocation. The only downside is parking, wish there were more parking closer to the building. If you can afford a reserved parking spot I highly recommend. Would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. 😀

DO NOT LIVE HERE is the best advice I could give anyone. First, the leasing office never answers phone calls, and if you leave a message it takes them days to weeks to return back to you, and sometimes they never even call back. They use the excuse that they are short staffed for not answering calls, but how is that the residents fault. Second they charge you for leaving your trash can out $25 if it’s out anytime between 9am to 5pm, but their trash service is not professional enough to charge a trash can fee, they don’t show up at times to pick up the trash. Sometimes the trash gets over piled in the hallways, and even at the outdoor waste bin. Third, when you move out they charge you a mandatory carpet cleaning service fee. No other apartment has ever charged me a carpet cleaning fee. Finally, most dogs are not on leashes at the apartment complex, and their is always dog doodle everywhere. I always ended up stepping on dog doodle in the hallways, on the stairs, the parking lot, and the sidewalk. A few big dogs have almost attacked me when I was just walking to my apartment. Residents have used the excuse that their dogs are service dogs, and don’t require a leash. But I found that strange how it never said service dog anywhere on the dog. Usually service dogs don’t attack others for no reason. I am grateful to have left this apartment complex.

Update: also I’d like to make clear that I know the people who work in the office have no control on rates etc. they are awesome! D has always been super helpful. Also maintenance always comes in a timely manner !I absolutely love living at Axis, I have been here two years and even though the management changed it wasn’t a big difference (compared to other apartments I’ve lived in, when that happens and they get worse people) however I did not like how they handled covid and lease renewals. They told me they had NO renewal offers, last year I got 2 weeks free for releasing for 9 months however they told me best they could do was keep current rate but had to release for a year, I wasn’t sure if I was staying at my job or If I’d have a job for the next 12 months so making that decision was stressful, when I asked why they didn’t have renewal offers for current residents I was told “well we aren’t in the business of losing money” which I get, times are hard with covid however they were also offering new residents 6 weeks free rent at the same time !!!!! How ????? That just rubbed me the wrong way but any way I do like living here and have never had issues! I do wish they’d clean the hallways like a power wash they are gross and look so dirty

Worst apartment complex. New management is rude and careless and doesn’t care about the residents. I requested for maintenance to come in a different time so that I would be present. Was told that I don’t need to be present, after I stated I would prefer to be present because that is my preference to ensure none of my things are stolen, damaged, etc. That was not taken into consideration. You would think they would accommodate for their residents or AT LEAST be polite and actually talk to their residents with patience and respect.

I have loved living at Axis at the Rim and just renewed my lease. Here’s why: 1: Location, location, location…it’s unbeatable. 2: Small…just 3 buildings total in the complex means personal attention as a resident, and the staff stays on top of everything. 3: Great staff. From the front office (Mark)to the maintenance team , they are excellent…prompt, friendly, great attention to detail, know their stuff, get back to you right away, and pleasant to do business with. Had a maintenance emergency on a Sunday (with my garage door) and they took care of it right away. 4. Lovely apartments…high ceilings, tastefully appointed, well built and very quiet. NO noise from other apartments, very soundproofed. 5: Nice residents. Mostly singles and couples who work at nearby corporations. Some small families, some internationals who use Axis as a second home. Some UTSA college students but they are the quiet types and not the party types. 6. Nice amenities, in particular I love the fitness center. 7. Everything in the apartment works! After owning a large expensive home for many years, it’s been nice to not have to care for a big property. Lock and go…more time for travel and ending life. This is a sincere and real review…and I’m picky. If you have a similar mindset, you’ll really enjoy living at Axis at the Rim.

I am so incredibly happy I get to live here. The staff is amazing. The staff treats you like they’ve known you forever instead of as just a tenant. We submitted our checklist upon move in and maintence was there that same week to address any issues which was unbelievable to us. I work next door to the complex and nobody knew the keypad code the the back gate door entrance. I asked Mark who then got with maintenance however they didn’t know it either. They ended up switching it out with a remote sensor the very next week. The staff is just incredible in every way. Mark has been an absolute pleasure to work with. The fitness center is awesome for the days I can’t make it to the gym or just want to do cardio. Wish winter was over so I can enjoy the pool area and cabanas because it looks so relaxing. Only been here since the end of November but I look forward to renewing after our time is up.

This place is the real deal. The apartments are clean when you move in, they are spacious, the views are awesome (including the landscaping), and to top it all off, the staff is SUPER friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to great shopping, and I think you cant beat these prices for what you get. This has got to be the worst place I have ever lived at! the place is ghetto I wouldnt doubt if they accept section 8. People always on the balcony smoking weed. there is always a ton of people that do not live there at the pool. their gym is just falling apart with broken machines nothing to wipe down equipment no towels. No one pics up after their pets and they do not enforce it either.They just started to enforce towing even though they hand out 5 parking passes for a 2 bedroom apartment, so you never find a place to park. The office manager Erika is horrible!! when looking at the apartments shes nice to you, but notice how she speaks to the residents, once you sign she is an absolute nightmare. when I was signing my lease a man told me dont live here. I should have listened to him, he was being charged late fees because he was not able to pay online since their system was down and it was a holiday weekend so the office was closed and he could not come into the office and submit his check before the 3rd and she just said too bad Im short staffed right now so I cant deal with you. during my wait several people came in with the same problem. And you ALWAYS have to pay for a cashiers check when their system doesnt work, because there is nothing they can do and they will not waive any fees, even though it is their fault. Plus there is a ton of hidden fees Admin fees for every charge on your rent. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!

So the apartment itself is great! We love our home, the amazing pool, and gym. The staff is also friendly. However i dont like not being able to get a hold of a courtesy patrol person after hours. I left a message twice and the number to call me back within a one hour period and didnt receive a call back and the issue needing to be resolved was still ongoing. No one showed up and thats very frustrating. If you have an option for immediate service it should be just that.

Read all the other reviews with photos and the reviews of actual residents who reside here. Terrible community. Has literally taken a turn for the worst since Avenue 5 Residential Services took over from the prior management . This place is a joke. Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in! Walls and ceilings are thin between the units. Don’t bother complaining if your neighbors constantly fight (screaming and physical violence), because the office will say they’re doing something about it “calling corporate” to no resolution. There’s never any parking. A friend of mine also lived there and was promised Nest system to resign a lease and never ended up getting the system. Management is in constant turnover. Then when you move out and are expecting money back, don’t! You won’t even get an itemized list of what they charged you and what the breakdown is of what you got back. Save your money - don’t rent here!!!!

I toured this “luxury apartment complex” the landscaping was terrible dead plants and empty plots of dirt everywhere. The hallways are filthy, trash and leaves on almost every floor. The recent reviews show it’s going down hill very fast. 10/10 would not recommend. Ended up leasing at Retreat up the road, much better upkeep and maintenance.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Have never written a review on a place however the management here is unbelievable! Starting from moving in, our apartment floor was warped with air bubbles and progressively getting worse the more we walked on it. Manager sent construction team to get it fixed and turned out concrete work needed to be done, resulting us having to stay in another room provided. The room we stayed in had someones things and ended up being disturbed that night by an employee saying he worked there and was allowed to stay there!! We felt horrible that management could not have communicated well enough to ensure the room was empty and ended up having to kick out the poor employee.Returning to our apartment, nothing was covered up and there was concrete dust everywhere. Management had to send a cleaning crew the next day to get everything cleaned. Floor ended up warping again and manager required another mandatory fix with a different team because we apparently couldnt leave it that way. Fixed it again and 1 week later the floor is warped with bubbles!!My car has gotten broken into and called front office to discuss issue and they brushed it off like nothing. Beginning of this month, my boyfriend woke up to his audi crashed into at the complex. Immediately reported to the management team to request footage on incident and was repeatedly told theyd look into it. Called again and manager was not available so explained issue to assistant manager and had no idea of what was going on. Insurance required footage for lesser deductible and explained to office so they FINALLY check in with IT for the footage (2 weeks later.) Only to find out that video surveillance deletes after 10 days!! Manager said should have let me know sooner!!!!!Poor management to say the least, safety is the last thing on their mind.

Great place to live, more expensive than the older apts around it, but you get what you pay for here. The pool and workout area is very nice and maintained. The apt is layed out nice, with shower instead of tub, and modern looks and appliances. If I had one complaint it would be the lack of sidewalks around the building and for entering and leaving the complex. We live in the Rim, we go walking almost every night, but there is no sidewalk to walk and there is only one gate you can use to enter and leave. Speaking of gates, it is a poorly designed system, which I have no solution for, but it goes out every couple of weeks for various reasons. But, besides those couple of things, the place is nice and the management is easy to deal with.

Me and my boyfriend moved to Texas from Michigan, driving by these apartment complexes from the highway, we already knew we wanted to take a look at them. Their office is so welcoming, comfortable and cute so right away I was impressed and felt like I made a good choice coming here. The guy that showed us the apartment we currently reside in sadly left but he was a great employee and made us want to come back. We spent a lot of time talking with Heather, the manager, and she did everything she could to help us help her. She fought for us and didn’t forget about us. And every time I called they knew exactly who I was and were more than willing to answer all of my questions and concerns even though they were crazy busy. This complex has everything you need and so many different floor plans to fit your style or wants, and great management an staff in the office.

This is by far the worst experience at this complex. I submitted a request regarding my AC on April 22, 2022 and was told a part was ordered. Here we are June 1st and still without an AC in this Texas heat. I sent a follow up email to the complex Friday May 27, 2022 without a response back to date. My apartment has been 80-85 degrees inside since and nothing regarding an update on the part, if there’s anything they can to do to accommodate my unsustainable living conditions, nothing!!!’ I’ve been living like this for over 30 days! My room temperature food has gone bad. I will be hiring an attorney at this point. I pay my rent on time and a good amount to be going through this with nothing be offered to rectify this situation or nothing being done in general.

Let me start off by saying I’ve lived in 4 other apartment complexes before this one. With that being said, AXIS is the only one that has exceeded my expectations.Management is truly the best. They’re constantly organizing activities (food trucks, painting party, fitness classes, wine tastings, free food and drinks). They’re extremely friendly.Maintenance is always walking around constantly making this place better. They’re also very fast and professional when requesting work orders. There are also janitorial staff around everyday making everything clean.The amenities are great for what you’re paying. Great gym and cycle room, are always stocked with water. The clubhouse is FREE to rent out, unlike everywhere else wanting $200+. It has huge TV’s, Kitchen, many seating areas, shuffle board, Restrooms, coffee/tea machine, and Apple computers. There’s a few different BBQ stations. Huge fire pit to sit around on cold nights. Infinity pool. They also have a dog park (average size).One of the reasons we moved here was how close it’s proximity was to everything around. And the VIEW. Depending on what side you’re on, you can see downtown, hills, or six flags. Great for the 9pm fireworks show every night.If you’re debating whether to live here or not, debate no more. COME JOIN AXIS!

Axis at the Rim was the first stop on my apartment hunting tour but they were unfortunately touring other prospective residents. After visiting three other properties, we decided to try Axis again. GOOD CHOICE! Jimena is such a delight. She listened to my friend and I tell stories and was very engaging. It felt like talking to a longtime friend. Axis at the Rim is such a beautiful community- not much on the amenities but the floor plans (and that spacious walk-in closet) are beautiful. I’m hoping to call this place home in the future. I just moved to San Antonio for a new job, and Kelly was real helpful in helping me find my dream apartment with an amazing poolside view. She was real polite and friendly to my parents and I, making me feel already like a future resident! Her customer service and quick responses to any questions I needed was the deciding factor. Im upset that this rating system only gives me the option of 5 stars. When I stopped into the leasing office at Axis I had no idea I was about to experience some of the best customer service Ive ever been exposed to. Lizettes knowledge of the complex (and specific units available) was only overshadowed by her level of customer care and her actual desire to help. I expressed to her a few of the things I wanted in an apartment and within minutes she had multiple possibilities. I went on my viewing and she had already pulled the data sheets for the units to include approximate monthly payments. A consummate professional with unswerving devotion to her clients and customers...THAT is the best way to describe Lizette. Thank you for everything!

DO NOT RENT HERE. My friend moved in in January and is already counting the days for her contract to end. They were suppose to get a gift card from them for signing the lease of $300 and they still haven’t received it. Then during the freeze a pipe burst in there apt and they were advised by them they weren’t not able to stay in the appt until they fixed the damages that were done. She was advised she is able to go back two or three weeks after. It’s now been a MONTH and they still haven’t fixed some of the damages done. Not only that they tried NOT to give the gift card to her. They are a mess. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Aubriana and team have been beyond helpful and accomadating. I love that this complex is a smaller one and doesnt feel like a compound. The layout of these apartments are way better thought out than the rest in the Rim IMO & I looked at them all. I am so glad i chose Axis. Thanks Axis mgmt & team. UPDATE* I enjoy the staff and location my problem is with the amount of other competing apartments that are brand new and Axis matching all prices on top of giving better deals than they did to me moving in and now it Is time to renew my lease and my 1 bedroom apartment will be 1755 month to month and barely go down on lease terms. Why would you not honor that same offer to residents you have? I know y’all are in this to make money but you are going to push out your current residents at 1800 a month for a one bedroom to next door where I can get it for nearly a thousand less with all the new specials. This property is older than the others with less amenities and you charge us more. Sad because I really like it here and figured you would do more to keep current residents with all the competition now.

DO NOT rent here this place is awful, the management doesnt care about any of your issues, they want your money!! My master closet light was on for a month due to their light with being wired wrong, they refuse to compensate me for it. Missing door on furnace, so dust and lint is flying everywhere, dishwasher will not get anything clean. They will charge you $50 to pay your rent online, this place is unbelievable. Hate that I signed a 15 month lease, again DO NOT RENT HERE !!!

These people are scammers and a broken management. They will take every penny they can get for a very mideocre customer service. I can’t wait to move out because they do nothing for current tenants. I’ve been in this community for 2 years and my regret is I stayed here to give the new management the benefit of the doubt. They are far worse than the previous management. AXIS TO THE RESCUE!! My cat, who means the world to me, got stuck in a little crawl space under a cabinet and could not get out. I tried everything to get her out and soon realized that she was stuck. I started to panic a bit and decided to call the office for help. August answered and I explained the situation and he immediately contacted maintenance for help. Thank you August, youre awesome!! Caring and understanding and I greatly appreciate that. Eric with maintenance showed up right away and saved my lil one. He then went above and beyond to make sure she wouldnt get in there again. He didn’t pressure us to make a decision just made sure we knew all of our options for the property. Moved in three months ago and its the worst decision on my part. There is no parking EVER. Horrible management , Ive seen one wreck while I was on my corner balcony AND have witness multiple attempts to car theft (im a night owl)..... My apartment was disgusting when I moved in for $1750.00 a month NO THANK YOU. HOLES in my washer in dryer closet and the HVAC system rattles against the wall ALL DAMN NIGHT. Now they want over $10,000 in fees and repayment on incentives they give you for locking you down to this hell hole. Rant over.

I called on Monday 10/2/2017 to schedule an appointment at 6:30 pm on Wednesday 10/4/2017 to tour apartments A13 and A14. The represenative said yes that is fine, you will be speaking with Mark. I called Wednesday at 10/4/2017 at 4:45pm to confirm the 6:30 pm appointment. Mark Let me know that someone called him earlier in the day with an apartment locator and my appointment slot had been taken. I said well maybe its my appointment. NOPE. Appartently my appointment was null and void and my potential residency was superceeded by the apartment locators potential client. Thank you for the great customer service. The apartments, facilities, and staff are genuinely excellent, however, I think your mileage may vary highly depending on the quality of your overhead neighbors and where the apartment is located in the complex. A few nights I considered going to a hotel b/c of the noise. If you dont pay for a parking spot you will have to walk a hundred yards to your apartment every day. 4th floor and not facing the parking lot is a MUST if you are thinking about this place. A bit pricey too but that is the location.

Before you move in you need to pay your pet fee before you can step foot into the door we payed $700 and when we moved we expected a refund of $350 but we were told we didn’t pay the full amount so we got nothing back.We moved to the apartments next door “infinity at the rim” same price look at those before that money pit “axis” there’s a reason why they can’t keep a manager.

Went to look at these apartments on Saturday 5/20 evening, most apartments are staying open later for the summer so after looking at a few we figured we would walk in and check out Aura, it was exactly 4:45 when we walked in. First impression was two employees dressed int -shirts and jeans. My GF and I both picked up on that they were ready to lock the doors and get the hell out of dodge closing time, every floor plan we asked to see the young girl said they did not have one to show, she pulled out her tablet and showed us a floor plan that was about it, the young man started turning off the lights, closing the blinds and turning the TVs off, my GF then replied are you guys closing they both said yes we close at 5pm but you can come back tomorrow, we both looked at each other shook our heads and said no thanks.I am amazed how Investors and Architects can put so much time and money into a brand new multi million dollar property and then leave the keys to a couple of twenty something year olds to run it, they apparently didnt care about future tenants.

Great location! Very convenient to shopping and great restaurants. Lived in two units at complex and both met all expectations. Excellent management group that has always been responsive to my calls.

I love this place my only issue is Never any parking NEVER me and my brother moved here and we cant ever find parking they should At least give assigned parking to the residents near where they live its horror finding a parking thats why when our lease is over we are not resigning we are out of here unless they change something with the parking.

The team here are just amazing, very helpful, took time to help me with everything I needed in terms of finding the perfect unit to call home, very patient showed me so many available units for my preferable view of choice. You guys are awesome. Please keep up the great service. I felt at home before I even called this property home.
