Lago Vista Apartments

I think the apts needs to power wash rather than lawn services since there is no grass its all dirt and Everytime they cut the DIRT the DIRT falls everywhere including the buildings which needs to be washed down

So we lived there from 2019-2021 of October. Ive yet to lie on this place, and say anything negative about any other complexes my kids and I have lived at. I tell yall the management said we couldnt renew our lease cause they felt like we couldnt properly take care of the unit, saying we had an infestation, and I made it worse?! I would tell Gayle (Gail, Gale? Idk about the spelling, but she was awesome) about the refrigerator, and she wanted to get us a new one, but the main owners werent cooperating and said it needed to just be cleaned.......well the refrigerator ITSELF was infested with roaches. We lived in 507 the unit is alone STILL. Idk how many times I told Jessica (at the time she was the one in management,) about the fridge but she xxx de de de e4l5g5made it seem like I was bothering them. She was very rude. I would clean, and clean that apt and those roaches never went away. Even hired our own pest control people, and we didnt ask for anything back from the apt management but a new fridge, a different fridge. It didnt have to be new, just not that one. Its the same problem I promise you if you stay with the same damned fridge, and someone else moves in! Anyway, not too bad of an area. They just suck when it comes to their tenants😏ty for your time Google reviews!

I moved in on November 2017 & just moved out January 2018. It seemed nice when we moved in. But, we soon realized it was roach infested. The carpets seemed new. But, after a day you could smell animal urine. We were promised new carpet and never got it. We have 3 kids including a newborn. The restroom door was rotten and wouldnt close. They never fixed it. The neighbors are horrible and so is the parking. The lady at the front desk is nice but not when it comes to fixing things. Its next door to a school and gets very loud as well. Its OK if you dont mind bugs and noise. But, I dont recomend then especially if you have kids.

Where do I start!!!!!? First week there gun shots went off in front of our door, neighbors didnt care if children were outside. Water runs through the first floor when it rains. After a while a roach infestion started. And the teenagers next door smoke weed and I dont mind it till my sons room smells so bad it probably gets him high, hes only two. Not to mention the parking is the WORST PARKING FOR ANY RESIDENCE. People with fight for parking here. The gates constantly break cause parents dont take care of or watch their rugrats which should be old enough to know better. The only good Thing is the play ground. Even the washateria there sucks. And if you get a new car I pray to God you have an alarm on it. The first night I got my car (not even fancy) it was broken into and at least once every two weeks since then. And ive only had it for half a year. My husband has a motor cycle and people dont mind parking one inch away from it as long as they find a parking. And get used to having a fat ass landlord who like to take two hour lunch breaks. Every time we go to pay the rent shes on her two hour break which Ive never heard of any one taking such a long ass break. I advise you if you move in please move into the first building outs most quiet and less problems up there rather than building 4. Our lease is up in October and I been counting the second since our first week. I wouldnt advise absolutely anyone to move in here!!!!!

I was looking for a n apartment to move my family of 6 and I was completely honest and I did advise that i have an eviction but the eviction was not my fault I also advised I desperately needed a home so I could save my granddaughter from CPS and foster care and the manager was 💓 less heartless she really didnt care or want to hear it she didnt even try to work with me so I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING HERE! they have no interest in helping the community or San Antonio citizens. 💓 less!

On 02-14 my fiancé submitted an application Online for us after not being able to get a hold of them to schedule a tour. The pictures looks great online so we decided since we couldn’t get a hold of them just to apply. Big mistake. After about 2+ weeks of getting not call back no email back, absolutely no word from anyone (except the automated email confirming the application was successfully submitted) my fiancé decided to call to check up on it. A female apartment manager or leasing agent answered the phone and once my fiancé provided her our names and the reason for our call the manager in a very annoyed tone said “I’ve already told your husband that he has to come in and turn in your check stubs and proof of income” I feel that she obviously had us confused with another couple as it was out very first time ever speaking to anyone at lago vista. My fiancé informed her that neither of us had been in contact but we submitted an application online and we were met again with attitude “we’ll I haven’t received any application” we are very confused at this point.We informed her that we did received a confirmation email and We told her the date and response “well you still have to come in and turn in your stubs and proof of income, I don’t have an application I didn’t get anything”. That interaction left a very bad taste my mouth. She obviously had us confused with someone else at first and our very first interaction was very off putting. Also sucks that we paid for an application fee that was NEVER even reviewed. After that conversation we decided not to move into the apartments Bc if a leasing agent was going to be so rude and obviously did not care I didn’t not want to find out how they would be once we actually lived there. Waste of an application fee.

13 years 1k apartment not worth it siding been painted over, front doors not sanded just painted over orange peeling if seen coming off your door you will be charged, place has a lot of mold bathrooms and indoor trim maintenance usually paints over them for inspection, drugs are used heavily also being sold on permises, lots of knits and flys in complexes bad foundation equal lots of roaches,cable boxes side of apartment are not secured so usually someone wires a jumper from your line to there’s you pay the cable bill and internet for about 15 people, pipes are old rusted below foundation replaced with pvc pipes not to code, maintenance not certified plumbers water pipes always bust middle of night due to not to code piping, support beams are are Rusting not to code, patio rails are welded cheaply not leved 4’ from patio also bolted down not using anchor bolts rail from support beam is tac welded and spaced 4” from beam to rail not to code also rusting, also security is none camera only in front leading side to washing area and left side mailboxes hallway , management does not cover cost anything within your household breaks it your job to repair using your money. Not maintenance job. Parking is limited no security perimeter fence is not fully up to code has gaps between rails easy for someone to slip through and into your vechile. Limited visitor parking only few available cannot be parked for more than 3 days will be towed your expenses vechiles been stolen by wreckers in past with a tip of $200 sticker or no sticker and management does not give you info of wrecker. So I took the liberty notified health department, city inspector, plumbing inspector, ICC Structural Welding Special Inspector

I moved in here about 2 months ago and so far I haven’t had any problems. Management is great and very understanding. A couple of things I had problems with were fixed right away. Other then that everything has been great.

Have some friends that love there. They are some very nice apartments. Most living there are prettyfriendly. Also part of the river runs along the drive. All fenced in and security gate at the entrance. Did not seem over crowded. Looks as if there is plenty of parking. Lighting is very good, no dark areas in and around the parking lot. Sort of a kids play area at the end of drive. Very nice place.

I am very pleased with the staff. They are certainly attentive, polite and helpful. It has been such a pleasant experience for me. Staff always makes ne feel welcomed. Staff goes above and beyond and have excellent communication skills.

I am very happy to live here!! Im very pleased with the friendly & kind treatment that Ive received from Gail in the office & the prompt response and respectfulness of the people working to improve the complex. And my view is beautiful! Im happy every day to be living here.

Been here a year and a half ... Love it no complains..up until a couple weeks ago when the new neighbors moved in.. Dont know who showed them how to park but last I checked one vehicle dont take up two spots... Maintenance fixes things fast in the same day I put in report..

My Ac has been not working for 3 months now. It broke when summer began, I have 2 little boys & we are literally sweating. All day & night. Its ridiculous. Ive conplained like 3 times a week. & everytime they come they check the ac & swear that its working. (I dont think us swaeting is an ac working proper) I cant take this anymore. What more do I have to do to get them to do something about this situation plus many more things broken for months & they cant fix it when they say they do. I RECOMMEND FOR NO ONE TRY & move in. Unless you want to deal with maintenance problems & things leaking & broken down for months. Its your choice. 💁

My sister asked for the maintenance to fix a light switch several times and the maintenance man installed it upside down i guess because he was upset that he had to finally go fix it. 1 star since every time I visit I have to flip the light switch the incorrect way in her restroom.

Ive been here going on 3 yrs ive been gased they refise to seal the attic outside my apt they still havent made ready my floors its a bad place staff yells at u. Im supposed to b om hud and they have me here...most people dissapear here. Its a horrible place.

If I can give it zero stars I would an apartment with a family of three and girl is pregnant got shot up and door broke in by officers thank God noone was home but instead of complex helping they evicted them gave them a couple days to move.smh

If you enjoy getting the run around from apartments,try Lago Vista!I only gave it one star because well I felt like it.Good luck trying to get a apartment from here

Ive been living here for 7 years and I still love it good place have everything near you and see everything where I live it on the balcony nice Apartments

I have lived here 6 years and I truly have no complaints. Very satisfied.

Just moved in and cant wait to move out! I moved in as an emergency move in and cant believe housing passed this sh**. Everythings falling apart or rig up!

These apartments changed managers and maintenance often, never fixed repairs. Doesn’t care for black mold growth or concerns for their tenants health. Until kicking out old tenants they started calling pet control. Painted over black mold or put boards over it to pass state inspections. Manager was rude and disrespectful, i doubt she is still there because no manager stays long enough to discuss issues or paperwork. They misplace paper work and files and place blame on tenants. I hope they have a decent, civil manager and maintenance who actually fix work orders in order. Car break-in’s and entrance gate always needing to be repaired. No Lights in the front of the apartments, ubers passing the entrance at night because it was so dark. After mentioning it to manager I had to go through an uber driver actually reporting to the city to fix park lights thats the only reason the parking lot is lit at night
