I’ve enjoyed my lease here. The pool is nice and never too crowded. The leasing agents are always nice and helpful. Maintenance has responded to any request in a timely manner. Though it doesn’t directly affect me, I think it’s important to mention that the elevators in Building 2 are frequently out of order.
I love living here! The Management and Maintenance team are great!! The daily communication, responsiveness and genuine care goes unnoticed. I can confidently say it has exceeded all my expectations. The location is quiet, and has everything you need around the corner. Great place to live!
I wouldnt recommend living here unless your ready to in counter a ton of fees. I pet sit once every 3-4 months for 1-2 days and now they expect me to pay monthly plus all the pet fees. Also dont forget about your trash can in the morning because they will charge for that too! They find any way to charge you and take your money. I also had banking problems one month and they did not care and still charged me the late fee when I already showed them and let them know what was going on the banks end. Then proceeded to tell me do you even have the money to pay it. They promised me a reimbursement but never received it. Management really does fool you when you sign your lease.
I AM CONSISTENTLY UPDATING THIS REVIEW EVERY FEW WEEKS. IF YOU ARE A CURRENT RESIDENT, I WOULD URGE YOU TO SPEAK UP AND WRITE A REVIEW.The elevators in both buildings have been down since January, resulting in full utilization of the stairwells for all residents and guests. These are four story buildings, and it is non-ADA compliant to have non-operational elevators in a 4 story building, so CWS (Landlord) has been non-compliant since January. The gates are non-operational every 2 weeks due to “vehicles hitting the gates” and vendors needing to come out to make repairs. Hm, I don’t think so. How often do resident’s ram their car into the entry gates to their neighborhood? How often do you accidentally hit your garage door to your house when pulling in the driveway? Every two weeks? You be the judge of that scapegoat. The common area facilities are consistently closed as well. There’s typically a scapegoat for every maintenance downfall here at Marquis Dominion, whether it be a lightning strike the first week of January causing the elevators to still be out of service to this day (3/16/2024) with no estimated repair date in sight, cars hitting entry gates, parts taking months to come in for broken building doors (they slam like gun shots), and the list goes on.This complex is absolutely NOT worth the money that they are charging in rent. There are multiple other newly developed buildings in this area that will be under the same ownership and management for the next 3-5 years until they go to sell. Go live there. Marquis Dominion will only continue to go downhill as the cost of capital improvements to the buildings and facilities alike will continue to increase as the infrastructure continues to fail. How long CWS is willing to continue eating these costs is unknown, but you don’t want to be the nobody-resident at the mercy of this $@it show.Management team and maintenance all work for the ownership under the same company, so while they are a part of the problem, they are not the whole problem. I like them as people, but the failed buildings and facilities speak for themselves.Hope this helps.UPDATE: 4/11/2024 as of this date, only 2 out of 4 elevators in the community are functioning with no completion date for repairs provided for the other two elevators. Additionally, the front entry gate remains open 24/7 and the fitness center and bathrooms have all been closed due to a leak in the women’s restroom in building 1. All entry doors to building 2 continue to slam extremely hard, but the stairwell tread has been replaced finally - let’s see how long these last. ALSO, all residents received an email from property management last week demanding that the payment of rent must be submitted by the 3rd of every month otherwise late fees will incur. 2 broken elevators, broken entry doors, broken gates, and closed facilities, but they send threatening emails out to all residents to remind them when to pay rent.UPDATE 4/20/24:A car was stolen from the parking lot last night as all of the residents got an email about this. The gym is still closed indefinitely due to the burst water pipe in building one and the gates continue to be intermittently wide open.UPDATE 5/1/24:Elevators have been restored, for now. However, the trash compactor is now broken and “needs a part”, so a large dumpster will now be moved to the middle of the neighborhood and take up parking spaces while we wait weeks for a part to arrive. Of course, we are still on the hook for paying the valet trash fee that is periodically cancelled due to the overflow of trash.
I’ve had a great experience living here. The management and maintenance teams are always responsive and helpful, making sure any issues are handled quickly. Overall, I’m really happy with my decision to live here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to call home!
The staff are super friendly, responsive and overall amazing people. From front office workers to maintenance, everyone was kind and very professional which I appreciated. However, there were times right before my move out where I would get differing answers from the same staff that had helped me before which was frustrating since I wasn’t really sure what was the true answer to my questions.Maintenance orders that I placed were always answered within the next couple of days and I never had any issues getting anything repaired. As others have mentioned, the elevator was out of service for a long period of my stay there as well as the entry gates. The only functioning gate was in the back, so all the others would always be open. This leads me into what I feel was my bigger issue while renting here. My old roommate and I had a doorbell camera set up and one night there were two strange men who approached the apartment door multiple times in a way where you knew they were scoping out the apartment. This happened super late, around 4am so it was truly a terrifying moment seeing these two men approach the door the way they did and be unsure of what their next move was. They eventually left and we reported this to the front office and included video footage of the men. We wanted to know if by chance they were late staff workers so that we knew it was all okay. Neither I nor my roommate ever heard back from management about this, even after we called and emailed multiple times for an update. It was a very daunting situation where my roommate and I felt like we had to take precautionary measures so we set up another camera that was eventually asked to be taken down since it was using hallway electricity and not our personal electricity. Asking us to take down the camera was completely understandable because it was in fact not using our apartment outlets, however it was frustrating because the reason they were set up was due to a lack of response from management regarding our safety concerns from that night. I am still not sure who these men are, but all I know is that we did not have fobs or something of the sort to let you into individual buildings or hallways, so the only barrier to our apartment building were the gates that never closed.Another issue we had while living here was that our upstairs neighbors were extremely loud. I understand that people deserve to live their lives in the home they pay for, but this was heavy and consistent loud stomping(think stomping around in steel toed boots) that would start around 6/7am and sometimes went on until 3/4am. It was so loud, to the point that the heavy stomping would shake our bedroom and bathroom doors. Even after reporting this and sending video evidence to management, we didn’t received any communication back about the issue and the noise never diminished.Overall, this was not a horrible renting experience because I have definitely had and heard worse but there is a concern of security when living here and a lack of communication from management regarding escalated issues.
Visiting a friend here. It’s really nice very modern. Close by a lot of stuff. I get people are able to do whatever they want inside their own place. But bassing music or having tv on loud enough to hear it in my friends apartment on another floor is not cool. I really shouldn’t have been able to hear the actual song playing through the walls/floors.Other people don’t seem very considerate here. People don’t pick up their dogs poop either.I hope they mention this to the complex so they can get the noise down.
I lived here in 2022. I paid my last months rent on time and vacated on time. They sent something to the credit bureau saying that I owe money and refused to remove it and took 3 months for them to even send me proof that I have been asking for and when they did it was not accurate information. I sent them proof that I paid $400 pet fee and that the should use that money to pay for carpet replacement and pet seal such I had a pet. They refused saying that they cant and want me to still pay another $329. I had multiple issues even staying there. After providing them proof that I even paid, that is when they happened to find the correct paperwork, but still refuse to correct the situation. I tried reaching out to the regional manager, but can not find a name.. do not stay here unless you want them to do shady stuff and steal your money even after you move out. It got worse when they took over.
So many issues at this place. It is one thing after another and its honestly making it really stressful to live here. For one it does not feel safe living here. Gates are almost open. The back gate walk up door doesnt even /unlock properly. There have been cars stolen, as well as car break ins. Break ins into the package room. Random people as well as our own neighbors stealing packages. Its sad were not even same among our own neighbors, I feel this is a management flaw. It seems like anyone can live here.In addition, there is something constantly being broke down and it causes so much inconvenience for everyone. The elevators for months at a time...the package room being inaccessible due to the iPad not working...plumbing issues causing the gym to be closed...lightning strike causing the gym to be closed...SEVERAL of the machines in the gym have been broken for 2 years. The amount of times that the fire alarms go off at this complex is completely ridiculous. They once went off around 4 am for almost an hour and it was honestly traumatizing. For no apparent reason, the fire alarms will be blaring and it is sickening. The amount of times that management has to come in and inspect something is absurd. It is a complete invasion of privacy. It is again, one thing after another. And Im tired of being inconvenienced. To top everything off, the place really isnt clean. Near the office where they probably tour new residents is. But I encourage the owners and potential new residents to walk the rest of the property and see how disgusting the walls and floors are. Broken sheet rock, writing on walls, extremely dirty floors, stairs and walls. One of the elevators even had a body part carved into it. Nice. With amenities and gates constantly being down we should really be getting some type of discount or compensation. Instead we are hit with an increase in rent upon renewal and an email to tell us we need to be paying on time.I already know that someone is going to respond to this and give me some lame response and it really isnt needed. Instead give your residents some answers. When will the elevators be fixed, when will the gym equipment be fixed, when will the gym be opened, etc. Management is so quick to send emails on us making on time payments but never an email on resolutions to issues.
Nice place to live at if you’re wanting to be close to the rim or La cantera area. The staff is kind and maintance is always there to help when needed. Come to your place asap! We also have a great pool & a dog park. Def recommend it if looking for a place.
Been living here since October and I have had the best experience with everything about this property. Maintenance has been the best ever. Literally come the same day I put my request in every single time. The front office have always helped me from the app all the way to lending me keys etc. love this place definitely would recommend to everyone and anyone looking for a new home. Thank yall so much for making this experience the BEST for me and my kiddos. 10/10
I would not recommend living here. The apartment office staff are actually extremely rude once you are a resident. I signed for this place with very different managers, when it was still Catalina Dominion, and saw a serious decline in literally everything because of the staffing and management. The amenities are always broken or not working. They bully the residents and charge over everything. For example, they tried to force me to put a guest I was having over frequently on the lease because he stopped by the office while I was at work to help me get my key battery replaced—even though he literally had his own place and just swung by at my request and I did NOT want to put someone with their own lease on MY place where I was paying all of the rent and he was not living there. Then, upon moving out, they are trying to change me for damages on the carpet claiming they are “pet damages” to the carpet from urine when the only pet I ever had in the apartment was my adult cat. My cat did absolutely no damage to the apartment whatsoever. I do not recommend living here with the current staff; they are looking for ways to bully you and and rip you off. Moved to another apartment complex in the area and it has been so much better for virtually the same price.
Paola and the other ladies in the office have been so amazing and helpful! They have made our moving transition so smooth. If you are looking for a clean complex with amazing staff then the Marquis Dominion is the place! The front off and maintenance staff are best!
This is how we got the apartment the first day we moved in with a 3 month old baby. It was just disgusting. Hair were painted on the wall, behind the dryer was full of dust, the floor was disgusting, and so on. After complaining the management sent the cleaning crew but they basically did nothing. I had already cleaned the floor and dusted the entire apartment because it was not safe place to stay with the baby. We eventually broke our contract and left within a month.
I still stand behind the review that I gave 5 months ago about what a great place this is to live. Christina, Paola, Lexi and Rudy have continued to be great, kind and gracious considering all the hard work they put in to ensure that we are happy and safe. All four of them have made living here a great place to call home. The property is very well kept and I would whole heartly recommend living here to anyone without hesitation.I have lived here for about a year now and I still rave about this community to my friends all the time. The office staff is incredible and are very patient with answering any questions I have. Paola is incredible and sweet and Christina is great as well. The maintenance team is very prompt and courteous and always respond quickly to any request. I have to say Lexi, Rudy and Brett are awesome and they always take the time to greet not just me but my fur baby. I definitely would recommend this community.
Been living here for 2 years now. i love the community and area. love love the luxurious pool as well. maintenance is great and always super helpful! Rudy & Lexi are amazing!
This is the worst place I have ever lived. The walls are PAPER thin, there is 0 insulation in the walls, and units will shake when your upstairs neighbors walk around. I genuinely question the structural integrity of these buildings. I had video proof of my neighbors breaking the noise ordinance laws and management still wouldnt help me - unless I was willing to pay higher rent and sign a new lease. The units all have mold and if you have a leak they will not relocate you. In my 12 months of living there, the gate was broken constantly and the cops were called on multiple occasions to report car theft or package theft. This experience has deterred me from all CWS apartments, because they care more about money than the safety and satisfaction of their residents.
Marquis Dominion is one of the best places that Ive lived at over the years, Ive been here for about a year and a half. There have been issues over the last two months (Posting January 2024) that is a bit out of the control of management, as in the mailroom being broken into, which has been resolved with a new secure door. The other ongoing recent issue is currently being resolved as well, which was caused by lightning striking one of the buildings at the complex that had a ripple effect across the community with elevator, gates, and amenity access. The maintenance crew here is topnotch, they are quick to address your issues and fix the problems you are having. The most recent issue I had was during our recent freeze where my heating went out in the middle of the night and Rudy was on sight fixing the issue within an hour near midnight. Without a doubt, the best apartment maintenance Ive experienced. The main reason Im giving 4/5 stars is the lack of accountability management has towards dog owners that refuse to pick up after their dogs. I honestly wish they would DNA test and fine the owners. Other than that issue, this community is really great.
A current resident and extremely disappointed with this management company CWS the previous management group was awesome ... There is always something wrong and the elevators have been down for 3months now and gates are always open but yet they have no issuesending emails out to tell us to pay our rent on time but give no kind of compensation for these inconvenient issues and just always avoiding the real issues and are trying to distract us by sending emails about random things that I can assure you most of us here dont care about ...so anyone looking to move here ask them when the elevators are going to be up and running cause you dont want to move having to go up all those stairs . for what we pay I would expect better
First time living here and it’s the worst do not come to live here!!!! The elevator hasn’t been working for almost a month that’s crazy they keep saying that they are going to fix it but they haven’t. None of the amenities work the gym, the elevator, and the gate which is so dangerous and unsafe. A couple of month ago they robed the mailing room and they didn’t do anything, they just said “call the police it’s not our problem” and it took month for them to fix the mailing room. This is so bad and I’m having a horrible experience here do not recommend these apartments at all. If you can find something safer and with greater quality I suggest other apartments.
I toured with analissa, she was very friendly, and outgoing. The location is perfect. The amenities are top tier.
0 STARS!!!Please, for the love of god, do not rent with these apartments…We lived in building 2, on the forth floor and oh my god… This was the very first apartment that my boyfriend and I have ever lived in, and it had really made us want to NEVER go into an apartment ever again!!- Despite there being gates, they are ALWAYS broken, they do not stay working for longer than 2 weeks.- Yes, the area is very nice but car brake ins are very frequent, even my car was broken into, but when you report this, its YOUR fault that YOUR car gets broken into. Like cmon?? It wouldn’t have been broken into if the gates weren’t gawd damn broken.- Elevators NEVER work. For the past month and a half, the building 2 elevators have been broken, so my boyfriend and I have been going up 4 flights of stairs everyday after our 8-13 hour shifts. What broke me was when I saw an elderly lady struggling to go down the stairs. Our last month here we could not properly go grocery shopping.- There is dog feces everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its so smelly outside lol- You cannot find any parking after 6pm, you’d have to walk so much just to get into your home.- My tip is to just rent a house, it is WAY cheaper, we decided to kick apartments off the curb. In my opinion, apartment living is no environment for a dog and we learned that the hard way. with a home, we are going to pay 600 dollars cheaper than living here and we get to have a garage and a backyard!! And guess what!! No extra fees!! And we will get a driveway parking!!I also do not want any default message from any rep, I do not want to contact anyone, I just want to speak my mind.
I have been a resident within this community for nearly two years, and regrettably, I have observed a consistent decline in the overall quality of living each passing month. The escalating issues range from security breaches, unauthorized entries into my apartment lacking proper notice, damaged entry doors fostering a pervasive sense of insecurity among residents, harassment from a fellow tenant, unauthorized access to the mailroom resulting in the theft of sentimental items without resolution, recurrent malfunctions of community gates, and the most recent disruption attributed to a purported act of nature. However, the response to the current predicament lacks the requisite seriousness and urgency. The recent breakdown of essential amenities, including elevators in all buildings, the non-operational gate, and restricted access to the gym, yoga room, and business center, has further exacerbated the situation. The removal of the coffee bar, initially a positive aspect upon my move-in, and subsequent alteration of operating hours have compounded my disappointment. What was initially envisioned as a luxurious living experience has devolved into a state that contrasts starkly with such expectations, bordering on an environment that feels less than desirable.I chose this residential complex with the belief that it would provide a safe and secure environment, catering to the needs of myself and my family, while affording me, as an entrepreneur, peace of mind. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, and for almost the past two weeks, I have been compelled to navigate staircases with my five-year-old due to elevator unavailability. While some may perceive this as beneficial exercise, it has proven physically taxing for me as I recover from extensive medical issues. The nonchalant attitude displayed towards these ongoing challenges, coupled with a seeming lack of commitment to treating the situation as an emergency, has prompted me to articulate my concerns through this review. The trust and confidence I once held in the CWS Community are rapidly diminishing. It is disheartening to express discontent about my current residence, a place I once proudly called home. I sincerely hope that the management can address these issues promptly and restore the community to the standards it promised upon my initial commitment.
I have gone through many issues with this property but the elevators being out for 3 months is unexplainable and the constant walk through of apartments by managment is ridiculous, there’s no privacy here. We are about to face a freeze over the weekend and with my husband having severe back issues he has had to take the stairs to get to work all week. We won’t be able to leave the property over the weekend because of the elevators being broken. They are “waiting for vendor to respond” I think it’s time to get a new one!
Marquis Dominion has been the best luxury apartments/townhouses I’ve ever lived at! From the friendly leasing agents to the phenomenal maintenance team to the clean amenities, I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Keep up the great work!
-There is dog feces everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its so smelly outside.-A CAR WAS STOLEN!!!!- they told us about an incident but they never told us what happened so idk what was that SCARY!!!!-the gym broke again for the 300000 time- the hallways always smell like trash-gate is always open- they always close the mailing room for the 300000 timeI don’t recommend this at all if you can live anywhere else please do so :) I wanted to like it but theres just so many issues.I don’t even want to give it a “⭐️” but in order to comment I have to, if I could give it a zero I would.
I would suggest making an appointment if you would like to tour this place. My fiancé and I did a walk in. We were met at the door and told they had a staff meeting at that moment and they would reopen at 2 pm (we walked in at 1 pm). No consideration was given to even attempt to land a new resident. We were not handing brochures or provided any information prior to leaving. To me it seems as if management cares more about themselves than a potential resident. The whole encounter left a bad taste in our mouth.
I love the atmosphere and how fast the maintenance come when there’s an issue! The amenities are beautiful. Only problem we have is the electricity pops every so often and we have to reset it. Other than that we love living here!
My family and I needed a last minute apartment as the initial complex we were moving into unfortunately delayed our move in date unexpectedly. Catalina staff was more than helpful in helping us find an apartment unit in less than 2 days! Everything from the application process to our move in was as smooth as it could have been. Upon move in there were some minor issues that needed to be addressed but Aaron and his staff ALWAYS kept us up to date and fixed things as soon as they could. Maintenance is also always so friendly and helpful.Although I have heard of the safety issues going on in the past at this complex, I have not personally encountered any. My family and I love our new home, the amenities, THE STAFF, and the dog park! Thank you Catalina!
Stay away from this place! Back in May 2022, my wife and I were moving from Houston to San Antonio and checked this place out with our then 3-month-old son. The sample unit that we were shown did look decent and we were told that the unit that they have available for us would have the same cleanliness and quality, but they cant show it to us due to the fact that there is someone living there who will be moving out before we move in. Since we were in a hurry to move and didnt have that much time to spare (due to my work moving me from place to place for each project), we signed a 13-month lease. However, upon moving in, we discovered magnitudes of issues with the place (I have attached multiple photos with this review which dont even scratch the surface). Basically, the apartment was dirty, covered in hair, gunk on the floor, rust, stains and dirt in the bathrooms, the entire place was dusty and had many other issues. The parking around our building was atrocious and inadequate so we had to park way too far away from our building. The A/C units outside our master bedroom made an insane amount of noise and made it impossible to sleep properly at night. There was construction going on behind our building with a lot of noise and dust and mess. They had let us move into the unit and occupy it while there was a fire hazard present (there was an enormous amount of lint buildup behind the washer and dryer unit - photos attached to this review for you to see the truth). All this and they knew we had a 3-month-old baby with us too. When we complained, they didnt care at all. They refused to give us a refund, they refused to give us any financial compensation, they refused to cover our moving costs. They only offered us another unit in the same building, but we had to pay our movers again to move to another unit. The management of this apartment complex is very incompetent and extremely inhumane. The person that showed us the clean apartment and lied to us didnt seem to care, and his boss who is the director of the place couldn’t care less about our concerns either. We even called her boss who is the regional director for CWS and she was the most heartless person I had ever spoken to who cared even less. Our advice to you is save your money and go someplace else. Their prices are just too high for even a proper and clean apartment let alone the dirty one we got. Good luck!
I feel like it is only right to leave a five star review after the treatment I have received after living here for 9 months. This has been by far one of the best apartment complexes I have ever lived in. I was among the first to lease here and I would do it 100 times over. My leasing agent Vanessa has always gone above and beyond to make sure that I have been happy with my stay here at Catalina, (aside from my trampoline request not being fulfilled but I’ll let that one slide). As a corporate chef and culinary consultant I have always paid extreme close attention to detail and I’m happy that the place I choose to call home holds those same values and has employees that reflect that.
I have been here for over 3 years and the apartments have been bought over by CSW. The Director, Jay (office manager), & Rudy (maintenance manager) have all been so friendly and helpful! Even dealing with apartment issues out of everyone’s control, they have all truly done their best to make me feel valued. Thank you all for always being so helpful and kind. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a full staff that’s in harmony and friendly.
Beautiful community with friendly staff including Jay and Rudy. For the region located it’s priced fairly and the amenities justify the cost. Neighborhood is peaceful with great scenes. Haven’t had an issue since moving here and always look forward to coming home. Definitely a great and safe living space if looking in the rim area.
The maintenance crew is courteous, responsive and communicative when issues arise that require their attention. Rudy and Lexi are always ready to help accompanied with a smile and good attitude. I appreciate their expertise and their efforts.
Worst Experience EVER! I used to love living at the Catalina, but this apartment complex does not feel safe nor like a home. So many incidents have occurred here to where the management cannot even have the courtesy to make their residents feel safe. Not once have they felt bad about any situations, weve all experienced. I know it is not their responsibility but at least be understanding in bad situations and do something to make the residents feel appreciated. We pay a lot of money to live in a nice neighborhood and now we constantly must be watching our backs. So much for being a luxury apartment this is not a safe place to live.
Maintenance is top tier in this apartment complex! Rudy is very efficient and knowledgeable in his line of work. Very friendly staff and professional all around.
I toured here a few weeks ago, and really loved it! Also, I really appreciated Summer! She is kind, professional, outgoing, and takes a lot of pride in the community. Some places you tour are luxury complexes but the leasing specialists are very rude from the first moment or don’t seem to know what they are doing, (a resident walking in with a problem and the employee getting thrown off with how to handle it) which really stinks when you like a community.Everyone here was very nice, and the apartments are new, clean and modern. I would recommend this location if you need an apartment.
Nice amenities but there has been a problem with pests in the past. Ants are a recurring problem and the pest control that comes in doesnt seem to really be able to get a handle on them. The biggest benefit of this complex is the no breed restrictions. There is a lot of positive amenities and features that work well for anyone with pets or that like to be active.Im going to continue to update this review throughout the remainder of my lease, but the constant follow up and contact from the new management seems promising.EDIT 1 : The apartments are under new management which quickly seem to be attempting to amend the failures of the prior. After having pest control come in, I received an immediate follow up regarding the problem and scheduling continued support. Its refreshing to see so Ive edited some of the prior review to be fair to them.
The Catalina Maintenance crew and front desk people are outstanding. Maintenance is done in your apartment promptly, often the same day as the request, the landscaping is beautiful and the buildings are clean.During the lockdown this spring, the front office gave everyone a roll of toilet paper tied to the door with a ribbon and random bags of candy and games to get $$$ of your monthly rent.I really feel a sense of belonging here. Thank you to the wonderful Staff at the Catalina Dominion.
We just moved in and we love it thus far! But I must say that Art, in the leasing office, has been amazing! From beginning to end and still going. He is an amazing asset to the property management company; they are very blessed to have him on their team. He listened to our wants and needs and was extremely patient (even when we went back to see the property a 5th time). He has been extremely attentive even after our move in. I recommend the property and using Art to help you lease!
Update 2/15/23-Team here has improved some taking care of property amenities, but 2 of three grills are out of service at building where pool is located. They take too long at correcting issues. But I am moving my rating up to 3 stars.Review created in 2022 follows….We have had issues since CWS took over the ownership of what is now called Marquis Dominion. I have been telling Christina, the GM, for close to a month that there is no soap or paper towels in the public bathroom right next to sales, office, gym and gathering room. After two weeks they finally got paper towels, but still no hand soap. Disgusting. The answer I received from Christina was someone keeps stealing the soap.Weve lived here a year and there is a noticeable difference in how the buildings and common areas are now maintained and the overall cleanliness of the common areas.
What a beautiful apartment complex. !I’m moving to SA in few months from abroad.I’ve been searching around for apartments to make sure I have everything in place as well as knowing what I’ll need for the move.Moving is stressful as it is, let alone from another country, I’ve called the complex and spoken to Kanisha Romero, she is just amazing !She took her time with me answering all of my questions (there was a lot of them) was very very helpful, friendly and understanding as well as reassuring, this is something I value so much in any kind of customer service. All the information she provided for the move, going above board making sure I have everything I’ll need for the move as well as reassuring me she will help me and guide me though out the process. All the other complex apartments I’ve call weren’t this helpful, for that fact alone and the the most extraordinary customer service she provided me with, I must say I can’t wait to live here.
THIS IS MY ASSESSMENT OF MY EXPERIENCE HERE 14 MONTHS LATERAugust 08 2020 - update ----- openI needed help with the gate code into the apartment because the previous code was not working, the lady that picked the call when I called was awesome., shes the reason I have changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 full star. she even called to follow up.Like I have said, the staffs are great... but in my 14 months here, this was the best customer service experience I ever got. Nice Work.August 08 2020 update ----- close.I guess this is my final review as Im moving out in less than 14 days. I always rate every apartment I move to and move out of, just so others can get a little glimpses of my experience.I will do a straight review by providing stars 1 -5 one being the lowest on different section of the apartment.Neighborhood safety : 3.5 (because I had my bike stolen from my car rack )Neighborhood overall : 4.5 or even 5Apartment luxuriousness : 3.9Cabinets : 4Unit Installation: 3 or even high 2... (you can literally hear your neighbors doing or saying stuffs from their own units.)Management: 3.6 (this is because the complex have had 5 manager change during my 14 months lease, that has to speak to a larger issue.Resident center: 5 so beautiful, one of my favorite place.Pool: 5 only used it twice, but its great and beautifulComputer center: 5 very quiet and disturbance free(with printing available)conference room: Great,..Yoga room: 5Overall Amenities : 4.5 (very good)Gym: 4.0My overall experience here was will get a rating of 3.5 overall. The gym is great for all types of workout, I run every day around the neighborhood, and the Fredericksburg park is awesome and less than 3 minutes walk to the park. my experience would not be short of 5 stars if I didnt have the pest and installation issues.
Paola is amazing in the leasing office. She is the Assistant Director and she has an amazing team and maintenance staff. I’d recommend to live here to anyone as a resident of 2 years.
Catalina at Dominion was the last apartment complex I visited the day my mother in law and I decided to go view prospect apartments all over San Antonio. I needed a move-in ready downstairs unit or a complex with elevator access so that my family could have accessibility for my fathers wheelchair. This apartment complex has been more than accommodating and Aaron has been a superstar leasing agent- he has gone above and beyond to help answer all of my familys questions. His service has been exceptional and we are so thankful for his kindness and assistance. Ive given the complex a 4 star because if you have an aversion to loud music/noise, or the revving of automobiles on the highway at night then it is something to consider. Overall, Catalina at Dominion with all of its amenities and staff are great! It is a prime location to get to the major highways, retail stores, and restaurants.
Marquis Dominion is second to none! The Amenities and Apartments are absolutely amazing. Not to mention the extremely welcoming and helpful staff! I would definitely recommend the Marquis Dominion for anyone looking for a great place to live.
This was by far the ABSOLUTE WORST apartment experience we have ever had. The staff are selfish and maintenance and safety is abysmal to none. Cars have been broken in, pest issues, noise complaints that have required us to call the police on numerous occasions because apartment staff never responded and appliances that never worked is just a start to the list of pitiful things about this place. If you care about your well being and the well being of your family, look elsewhere.
Beautiful community with nice amenities. Front office staff is very helpful and attentive to your needs. And the maintenance staff is very responsive and professional. Couldn’t ask for more from an apartment complex.
I am so grateful that I had opportunity of staying here for the summer. I am from Miami and was staying in San Antonio for the summer. La Catalina was a beautiful apartment complex and the staff was really nice especially Vanessa. She was very welcoming and I appreciate her effort to always help out!
I’ve lived at marquis dominion since december of 2022 and i love it so far. the amenities are great and the maintenance team is quick and effective!! any sort of maintenance issues get resolved in 24 hours.
I recently moved in to Marquis at Dominion and I have had such a wonderful experience so far! The office and maintenance staff have been incredibly helpful and attentive!! I’m very excited to be apart of this community!
We are moving out of state after a great year in this place. Rudy was the best!! He Always helps and takes care of us with a big smile and good energy, Thank you 🙏🏼
Toured this facility with Bonnie Davis. It is a great facility and amazing management. Due to timeline issue we did not end up signing for an apartment here but it was one of our top choices. Bonnie know how to sell and her communication skills are on point. Great management, very polite people and great location.
E are loving are experience with CWS Apartments! As well as are fur babies. Them offering units with a yard is a game change and has made apartment living a lot easier! Our fur babies loving soaking up all the sun while they get to play in their own private fenced in yard that is much bigger then what other complex’s offer! They seem to enjoy it as much as we do.
AMAZING STAFF! I had heard that theyre pricy but we are getting our moneys worth. Vanessa is your go to leasing girl! We were approved and ready to move-in in less than 24 hours. Everything has been amazing, we had 1 tiny problem with no hot water, but Vanessa was on it as soon as she saw our concern. We couldnt be happier!
I think this complex is quite nice and cozy. Quiet so far. I love the amenities and views. Jay has been absolutely wonderful and helpful from leasing to move in to work orders. He is always happy to help! ✨✨✨
This property feels likes its getting better since we moved in. The new ladies in the front is definitely a great improvement. Jerelyn has made my mondays better by putting together breakfast for the property. One less thing I have to worry about on the typical stressful Mondays, thank you Jerelyn for taking care of us, and for always being so helpful along with the rest of the staff.
I’m so grateful that our front office staff is always so kind, patient and hardworking. The property is beautiful and I believe they do their best to keep this place a home.
I’ve lived here for 1 year and have had no issues. They’re quick for maintenance requests and the staff are very professional and helpful. I have always received an answer to any and all of my questions, as well.

So I have so much to say , but I’ll keep it as brief as I can . Destanie is heaven sent !!! She has made our choice to live here at the Catalina so Easy. What I love about her is that she is so laid back , knowledgeable, kind , caring and passionate about what she does. She answered all of our questions and concerns; never getting annoyed or rude . Thank you so much for everything you do destanie , and thank you to everyone in the office working so hard to make the community a real home.
I love living at Catalina at Dominion. It’s very quiet and feels like you’re not living directly in the city. I have an amazing view from my apartment balcony and the staff is very helpful.

Excellent property!!! Beautiful amenities!! Gated community, nice pool!! Not sure about all those strange one star reviews but this property and the people are super helpful with all the questions I had!
I have been enjoying living here so much! Everyone is always in a great attitude and so willing to help. Nobody has ever given us any trouble and they always follow up.
Jay was absolutely amazing, he helped my roommate and I and answered any questions we had! So excited to live here!
Just moved in and Im already in love with the place. High quality amenities and apartments, definitely recommend.
I love this property! Its stunning on every level. The staff is incredible and responsive even during covid. I love my apartment and I love the location.
Avoid paying for the parking spots as they are not reserved ….. Even though they say it’s towing enforced they don’t do that …. Community asks you to pay for the spot even before they check if it’s empty …… I was given my parking spot but some or the other one keeps parking in my spot and the community does nothing to stop that …. i have sent multiple emails to Tori but haven’t heard back and still facing the same issue.
Catalina has been great! I love the location near the Rim and La Cantera my apartment is perfect.
Awesome location just across from Friedrich which I always go run. Neighborhood is safe and mostly peaceful. Great amenities and helpful staff.
They do not take care of their tenants. Instead of helping them they make the issue worse. Especially when several of them had their tires slashed or when they had a gun man there. VERY unprofessional.
It’s so beautiful and so quiet here. I feel like we finally found our home ❤️ Management is also super friendly and super communicative.
It’s great living here! Staff is awesome, and the amenities as well!
Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful apartments, grounds, well appointed gyms, conference center, work center and lounge area.
Catalina is fantastic! The location is great, the units are perfect, and the office staff is extremely helpful and friendly!

All girls works there are unprofessional and one of them I think her name Vanessa is super rude . The building is pretty good unless the staff
