Abby provides exceptional customer service. When we move in a couple of years ago we needed the leasing process expedited, she made it happen. Weve had a few concerns about apartment that she addressed and resolved immediately. Ive had leasing office concerns on past property rentals so the office staff is as important to me as property amenities. If you are considering this property I would highly recommend it. Angel and his maintenance team are great as well.
My roommate and I just moved in October and have already had so many problems here. The biggest being that 2 months into moving in our keypad for the door lock stopped working and is still broken to this day. They gave us 1 key even though both of us are on the lease and said that we could always leave it in the mail box for each other instead of providing a second key for us. There is also a random pipe that leaks into one of the tubs and we sent a maintenance request that was never answered. The a/c is also terrible for the master bedroom. When it’s cold, the room is the same temperature as the outside and the heater doesn’t work for that room. When it’s hot, the room gets humid and gross while the rest of the apartment is cool. Maintenance couldn’t do anything about it apparently.Everything has been handled so carelessly, and there’s no sense of urgency from management to ensure problems get fixed & that residents are happy and comfortable. My roommate and I thought we would live here for a while because of how long the move in took (no elevator and we’re on the third floor) but now we can’t wait for our lease to end.EDITING ON 1/31 because they replied with misinformation: My apartment was never visited in our presence on 1/17 or 1/21. If by blockage they meant our pipe leaking, it’s coming from the ceiling and it continues to leak to this day. As for the arize, we were told it was a software issue and they were changing companies, nothing seems urgent to them.
Been a resident here for a few months. Love it here for being my first apartment! staff is super friendly, maintenance is quick when i need them, and it’s in a beautiful area. Abby has been super sweet to us since the day we moved in, always doing her best to make sure our needs are met :)
Angel from Mission Hills Apartments came by today to address an appliance issue we have. He showed the utmost respect to my family and I and showed integrity in his work. We appreciate his honesty and he was able to have a solution for us in a timely manner. Thank you Angel and God bless!
As an extremely new resident from October 28th I have had ongoing issues with three different things, the issue with the tub being clogged was fixed thank god and haven’t any other issue with that. However before signing lease we had specific questions about the buildings AC functions. We were told that it’s in a shaded area and no AC issues, but maintenance is really good about going out and taking care of it. I regret moving here already, our fridge was the first thing to stop working and groceries went bad. It took too much time to get that fixed in my opinion. Communication with that was awful. Abby isn’t empathetic at all. Five tickets and counting regarding my ac not blowing cold air and never on temperature we set it to. We asked for filter to be changed and something as simple as that was not even done. I purchased a few online and replaced ourselves. Again no communication with what’s going on I always have to call to get updates. Today my boyfriend dealt with calling the office and Kat mentioned it’s probably frozen again. No talk about being replaced just that if it reaches above 78 MAYBE maintenance will come. The 3rd ongoing issue is the flooring. It was not done the day they said the first time, when it was done…maintenance is so careless that the fridge they replaced ruined the floor even Worst than before . I was told it was fixe, but came home and they only fixed one area not both, that is another ongoing inconvenience. This complex is far from luxury living and you’re far from being treated as a VALUED RESIDENT. Side note, since I have dogs and walk the grounds frequent, everywhere I walk it wreaks of cat piss and dog feces is almost everywhere.
If you are looking for a place in Stone Oak, this is the perfect place. I am glad I met Kat who is super helpful and very professional. She helped me with all the inquiries and made move in process really smooth. Amazing experience!!!
Update to their response** -- if they took as much time as they do to reply to all these reviews and poured that into caring for their residents & staff- there wouldnt be such a high turnover rate. Please dont be misled by their surface level responses to camouflage their lack of care . Items were in fact stolen from car and it was NOT OPEN and my dryer til this moment does not work efficiently. SKIP THIS COMPLEX!!SKIP THIS COMPLEX!!Dont waste time inquiring here. Im not one to write reviews, but there is no care at this complex. issues with my dryer (they refuse to get me a new one but instead find ways to fix something that clearly is just old and cant be fixed anymore), my car was broken into, leak in my bathroom sink (it was not fixed but covered up), AC circulation is awful, door lock continues to break and rent increased by 100. cant wait to leave this place. unfortunate, because stone oak is such a great place to live in satx.they do everything they can to care with a bunch of words and sitting behind their desk, but do not be misled by mere words- you will get no help. i dont recommend this place and abby doesnt care for people- her response when i told her my car was broken into was weird, they usually dont go for chevys-- what kind of reply is that?
Run!Run! Far away this complex. They have theft ring conspiracy with the towing company mission towing. Towing company check everyday at crack of dawn for reasons to tow your knowing you live there. I’ve caught them a few times walking with a flashlight looking into people’s cars 2am in the morning….. which should be illegal! Whatever fees you owe are split between the towing company and the rental company.Me and husband asked plenty of times to get the carpet pulled they wouldn’t switch us to a different place they didn’t care corporate didn’t either! The customer service is condescending
Great experience so far.No infestation issues in unit, maintenance requests get done promptly, safe community, and great front office staff.Only small con is basketball court is usually filled with groups of 10+ guests, ends up trashed and don’t leave a chance for residents to use since they come in big groups
We are moving out over 60 days and never get back our deposit. After we call everywhere they send us a paper to sign again. We never late to pay rent on 2 years so why to difficult get back our money? How many more day we can get back our money? Or that the way your work? I’ll update everyday until we get back our money. It’s almost 1700$ we work very hard to have it.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Katalina & Abby, and I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation. The team was incredibly professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire leasing process. They addressed all of my questions and concerns promptly and made the transition into my new home smooth and stress-free. Their dedication to providing excellent service truly stands out!
Staff is really responsive especially maintenance my friend lives here and shes had maintenance issues and once she submitted the request with the staff was really responsive they gave updates parts had to be ordered and they actually followed up with her gave her updates. The propertys really well maintained like i see maintenance picking up trash and working some places are only in office to collect your money all the staff I see they are helpful and caring. Thank you for taking care of my friend.
DO NOT MOVE HERE.I was doing my final military move to Texas from Idaho and I found this apartment online, I judged them based on their website which is extremely misleading, they advertise luxury living that is a joke. There is nothing luxurious about this apartment complex.Anyway, I signed the lease while still living in Idaho (I was completely ignorant to not look at the apartment beforehand but I thought I needed a home before arriving in Texas) when, I get to the apartment complex I notice that it is covered in trash everywhere, the building Im supposed to occupy is a five minute drive from the front gate. A few of the people near my building looked very questionable. They admitted to having a roach problem at their complex. Additionally, there is no transportation for elementary school students which was a must have and I have email receipts of the assistant apartment manager saying they DID have school transportation. (The streets are extremely dangerous for a small child to walk to and from the elementary school due to traffic.)When I got the keys to my unit they said it was cleaned the day before but I walked in it was filthy, they had to have someone come and clean it AGAIN, even the second time it was still was disgusting.I ended up telling them Im not going to move in and Im forfeiting my deposit, they can keep all the money I gave them I didnt feel safe nor comfortable living there as a single mother with my daughter. They ended up filing for an eviction and sent a bill of me owing them $6,000+ to collections. Mind you, I asked if I could use my military orders to get out of the lease as well and they refused that which Im pretty sure is illegal according to the SERVICE MEMBER CIVIL RELIEF ACT. I will be now contacting an attorney because they will give you ZERO grace for their falsely advertised s*** apartments.
People drive like maniacs in this complex.Complained about dog crap everywhere. Discusting! Even around the many stations that give you free poop bags. Good neighbors should pick up after their dogs.We pay for pest control. Ive had scorpions, ants, spiders, beetles etc. in my unit.Trash everywhere.Maintanence is very responsive.
9 years living in this apartment complex and loved it. Moved out as moving to another city. Management is great and prompt service for any needs. Highly recommended and special thanks to Abby and all the people who helped us while we lived there.
Do not recommend living here.Ive been living here only 4 months and there have been so many issues.1) No parking, and if there is a spot its far away from the unit Im in (Unit 11). I cant even pay the fee for a garage if I wanted to because there is none around the unit either.2) Whats the point of a pool if its never opened???3) My boyfriend was threatened by some white wannabe hood guy while walking to his car, and area is just shady in general.4) Trash everywhere and drivers who dont know what theyre doing on the roads.5) Weve gone weeks at a time without AC in the HOT summer, place has reached 90°F before, and we were placed with a broken fridge that wouldnt freeze or cool anything.Luckily enough management hired a new maintenance guy that actually did his job.6) The rent is way more expensive than we were promised. We have 1 cat, which we were told was 15 a month and a deposit of 200, it ended up changing to 30 a month and 400 for a deposit.Rent for 2bed 2bath was originally 1400, but is now 1600 (including the monthly pet fee) because of all the random expensive fees the include. While they do mention them, they dont include how expensive they can be.If I wanted to leave this dump Id have to pay 2500 plus next months rent, or I can wait out a 13 month lease, the shortest one they had...Either that or ruin my credit for 7 years, I simply dont know what to pick. 🙄
Although I didn’t end up going with Mission Hills, Kat was super helpful. She was very kind, knowledgeable, and patient and asked questions about what I need/want in an apartment complex. The property is beautiful, and definitely has a cozy/mission-style feel. 10/10 for Kat!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!Lived here for a year and was the worst year I hadBoth my cars got broken into and caused thousands of dollars of repairs ,front office didn’t even care. Then my apartments had a mold problem and I’m allergic. They refused to get someone out here to test for mold and clean the apartment. My ac has been broken for 4 months and the best part is the maintenance man is trying his best . No parking at all, then if your car gets towed the front office doesn’t care and they have no interest in helping out the people that spend 14-1500+ in rent a month.abby suggested I park in the front parking lot where I got harrassed by sapd for being “suspicious”.i live in the back of the apartment complex it’s like a half mile walk to my house … Cameras by gate have been up for 6 months and the Abby girl lied and said they were up for 2 years plus when they didn’t even install those cameras till my car got broken into.Office people have no idea what is going on and just be lying for no reason and to spend 1400 on rent to deal with this .im glad my lease is up. And to let everyone know your neighbors are Karen’s and are going to report your car or you for whatever reason even if they don’t know you.asking for three times the rent here when your office workers don’t even make that is crazy to me.Third party company they hired once walked in my apartment with no confirmation to enter 6 people deep while my fiance was sleeping . And front office or maintenance enter whenever they please.Thats definitely something to worry about.there’s a reason people are moving out as fast as they are .STAY AWAY.MOLD BEWARE NO PARKING BAD MANAGEMENT SHADY AREAEdit: Not to mention my mailbox got broken into as well.EDIT 2 Management is a joke and they don’t care about their residents. So glad I’m getting out of this dump.Fees while mentioned also do get more expensive than promised.overall a terrible apartment complex with a terrible management team and not enough is being done to upkeep the complex ,hot tub always broken pools always closed they never fixed the basketball court and most apartments come with non working appliances and the air conditioning is broken all the time and being fixed. To be in one of San Antonio’s most sought after neighborhoods and spend the kind of money I did, I’ve had a terrible experience and decided to move out of Texas .if I could’ve gave them 0 stars I would have .EDIT3 the further up the command chain you get to talk to in this company just gets ruder, and their supervisors are basically trained bullies . If you are not happy with the property or being wronged in any aspect they will not help you and will not admit fault. They will spew company policies and then mention lawyers and tell you to take it to court.. Sounds like great customer service to me .Edit4 The company owning this complex obviously cannot keep up with the maintenance on the property.Seems like I’m not the only person to have a negative experience with this company.grills down on the 4th of July????? Pool down in the middle of the summer ???? Teri Johnson shame on you for all that you have put me through after what I have been through while living at your company’s property.
Really nice property! Had an amazing experience with leasing office staff, they have great customer service. Maintenance is very prompt with request as well! 10/10 recommended!
The Team at Mission Hills is rock solid. They keep the community clean and inviting. Amber and the team are amazing. Attentive to my needs and takes care of maintenance issues timely. I especially love taking advantage of the pool lounge chairs and sometimes relive my younger days on the super cool BASKETBALL COURT! Its like an oasis, everyday. Rents are pricey but its worth it! Thanks for all you do! I totally plan to renew.
PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HEREwere do I start let me start with the1. serious mold problem they have ! I will drop pictures down below , I kept getting sick for weeks didn’t know the reason what so ever , until me and my fiancé looked into the vents and saw mold growing in all the vents in our apartment not to mention my fiancé is highly allergic to mold and we both got really seriously sick and had to go to the hospital not to mention the hospital bills I had gotten because of the mold issue !When we called and explain to them showed them pictures they seemed like it wasn’t serious sent someone over to “clean” the vents !And all they did was paint over the mold got paint on my floor and on some of my items , I had to clean them myself because it didn’t seem that “important “ .2. CAR BROKEN INTO AND ALMOST GOT STOLEN IN BROAD DAY LIGHTMy car was broken into around the time we had a weather storm “ supposedly “ front gates were wide open for those days lol cause the front office ladies said “ because of the weather our systems were down and the gate was openSo because of the weather or “storm” they didn’t wanna take no responsibility about my car being completely destroyed will drop pictures down below 👇🏼 when I went down there with my fiancé I explain to the ladies in the office , WE PAY 1500+ a month living in these apartments the least they can do is have security or have cameras in the front of at least paid attention to the gate more often , because my car almost got stolen but got damaged so much it was 1000 and 1000 of dollars to get it repaired ! And they act like they didn’t care and I felt very un knowledge ! Once my car got broken into they had a security truck drive around the property for a day because I went down there very upset and told them they needed to do something and then a couple of days later they installed the cameras in the front by the gate ! And then lied to my fiancé saying they been had them there when they didn’t because I saw them with my own eyes installed them and put the wood in the ground ! They are NOW in the front gates and back gates ! When they should’ve been had that from the start and would’ve saved me and others so much money and time from getting there cars broken into and stolen people that work very hard for there things and I couldn’t even get a sorry !3. PARKING IS INSANEme and others would have to park extremely far when I live in the back of the apartment complex! As a women I feel very uncomfortable having to walk far in the dark very shady area ! Even tho they should’ve of offered me a parking spot because my car got broken into and destroyed because yall should’ve been more on yalls gate that day since this is a gated community ! And we pay so much in rent !4. POOL BASKETBALL COURTpool was always closed hot tub didn’t workBasketball court door was broken and glass was everywhere on the floor and luckily I saw before opening !5. STAFF WALKING IN AND 3rd PARTY WALKING IN WHENEVER UNANNOUNCEDI work nights I sleep during the day ! One morning I woke up to hearing 6 men in my house knowing my fiancé was at work ! I was scared for my life and I was half asleep got woken up to a knock A KNOCK AT MY BEDROOM DOOR ! I threw my robe on and opened it to 6 men in my house ! Checking the outlets and whatever things ! I was highly pissed because I wished I got notified that people where coming into my house especially since I was alone and I am a female I didn’t feel comfortable with all these unknown men in my house ! Was very disappointed and uncomfortable!6. MAIL BOX GOT BROKEN INTO !told the front about the mail box they said they would look into it and never did because it is still the same and I am very concerned and skeptical about my mail and things I order , it looked like someone tried to break into it and the whole side is destroyed
Change is good! I moved to the complex in February of 2022! At first everything seemed great and I’m a low maintenance person, so I wasn’t too worried about little things. But the little things never got fixed around the complex. Biggest thing I care about where I live is my safety and security. When the front gate stopped working, I figured it would be fixed within days…four months later it is still broken. So why 5 stars! We had a new management team just start and they are amazing! Amber, Joey, and Abby have gone above and beyond to make sure as residents, we know what is going on. They have been upfront about the past management not meeting the standards anyone would expect and gave all the residents a priority list of what we can expect in the next 6 months for fixing things…the gate is the first one and is happening right away! Thank you so much for caring about the people who live in this community!
Ive lived here going on a decade and many of the older comments are spot on. The former owners and all but one management companies had absolutely horrific customer service skills and barely maintained the property. So, when the property was purchased once again and the management team was from out of state, I was concerned we would go from bad to worse. Thankfully, I was completely wrong. The customer service here is better than the standard set by Chick-fil-A. For example, one of the Leasing Agents, Abby, always has a smile on her face, is willing to patiently answer all of my questions, will help to troubleshoot potential issues, and always goes above and beyond what Ive ever experienced in an apartment or customer service in general. For example, the former owner/mgmt company refused to provide a copy of my signed lease. They said if I wanted it, I could print it off at home. I mentioned it would be difficult to read since the lease is on legal sized paper rather thanthe standard sized paper, and the former manager said that sounds like a you problem. When I was signing my new lease, I mentioned that to Abby and she immediately offered to make me a copy of the old lease. I was surprised and said really, you dont mind?! And she chuckled and said of course not thats what were here for-- to help!Another example, I signed my lease but it still needed the Manager, Ambers signature before it was valid. I spoke with Abby and told her it was going to be at least a week before I could stop by to pick up since I just had surgery. She immediately offered to bring me the copy when they closed the office that night. The Manager Amber is incredibly helpful as well. I know shes really busy but she always makes time to listen and answer a myriad of questions. Beyond that, the property looks better than it ever has. The water fountain in the front of the leasing office was formerly filled with rocks and plants. Amber changed it back to a working water fountain and it looks incredible. The roads have been repaved with speed bumps throughout the property. The leasing office was remodeled as well and looks a lot more inviting.Overall, this is a great place to live and Im incredibly happy with the high level of customer service Ive experienced.
I love my new home! This area is absolutely beautiful to raise a family and to have a peace of mind. It’s up on a hill with great views and a quiet community. On top of that the management/leasing team made it a no brainer to move in, I got to work with Amber and Abby on leasing my apartment and they were extremely kind, relatable, and professional while being super efficient. The maintenance team is also really kind and efficient in getting services done. Thank you guys so much for helping me choose my new home, I truly appreciate it!
My husband and I have lived here for a month now and were very hesitant to apply because of reviews regarding not being approved, Although we were very happy to get approved the issues began before we could even sign our lease… We were supposed to get a move-in special But did not because there was an error online and the property manager shawna was on vacation and “is the only one who could make the correction” we asked if they could get her to correct it because the apartment wasn’t ready and it would save us money, of course they couldn’t and we had to pay more even though we qualified for the move in special. We were then told that the lease wasn’t ready which made no sense because they had just told us we couldn’t get the special because it was already done…We didn’t feel like arguing back and forth since we were on a time crunch and so we came to do our walk through before signing. We did our walk through only to be more disappointed with non working/plugged in appliances, Dirty/broken stove and both bathroom tubs molded and cracked. We of course told them and so did the Temp agent that did the walk through with us and “were assured” over and over the issues would be fixed before move in…..we moved in only to discover NOTHING was done! On top of more issues like our AC not working properly causing the inside to rise to 85 degrees inside with me a 9 month pregnant woman and our 1 year old! Now we are currently dealing with another issue/ inconvenience, we have a new vehicle that needs a parking sticker and they have refused to give us another parking sticker and insist we use our visitor parking pass. We have tried to explain how that makes no sense because there’s no policy or writing in our lease saying that we are restricted to two cars only. We definitely can’t use our visitors parking pass for our own personal car being that my self will be having care for my newborn and I almost round clock so we would need our additional parking sticker and our visitor parking pass for my caregiver. Needless to say this property definitely seems to only want money and does not care! They charge an amenity fee yet not any amenities are working or operating properly!! This place definitely needs to improve their customer service and accommodations to their residents. Very beautiful property but very bad service and management. Side note: Maintenance is great and very fast so that definitely helps some!
I cant recommend avoiding this complex at all costs enough. The staff, save for Isiah, are rude and unhelpful to say the least. The property manager Celina is on some kind of power trip and will deny your application for any reason she sees fit. For us, it was rental history due to some late payments even though they were one day late, because life happens, and we were able to get a letter of recommendation from our current complex stating that fact along with their opinion that we were excellent tenants in every other aspect. I cant speak to her customer service skills because she outright ignored any correspondence in an attempt to level with her. She even denied our request to pay the entire 15 moths in full, so It seems she would rather keep her inflated ego and sense of power in tact than make a worthwhile sale for her property management company. We jumped through every ridiculous hoop she asked for and waited over a week to hear her response when we were told to expect it to take only 48 hours. Luckily in that time we have been accepted to a much nicer complex with a lovely management team within a reasonable amount of time, and seemingly have dodged a bullet. In regards to customer service, I can say that Vanessa is curt and has a serious attitude problem and horrible customer service skills. She is catty, sarcastic, and will talk over you. It seems like she hates her job, and honestly, if I worked under Celina I probably would too. If they deny your application, they WILL keep your money. They seem to like keeping their apartments vacant, so expect to be denied for whatever reason Celina feels like that day even though other properties will approve you no problem. I read all the reviews and hoped that they were mostly poor because people are more likely to air their grievances than sing praises, but after being given the runaround and exhausting every possible option to make something work with them, I can say without a doubt that every poor review is accurate and well-deserved.
Very responsive staff! Recently put in for a maintenance work order for a couple minor plumbing issues and w/in a couple hours it was addressed by maintenance staff with a very positive result. Management staff of Amber, Joey, Abby & Rick are very personable & friendly and have been extremely professional and transparent with thorough communication to residents since apartment management changed under new ownership about 5 months ago. Big KUDO’s!
Awesome place to live. Going on Two years. Dog friendly place. Quite place as well. Had issues with air-conditioning and dish washer and the maintenance group was on top of the problem, fixed it all and now Im a happy camper. Big thanks to the management team and the maintenance team April and the head maintenance guy (sorry forgot the name) are not only great but they finish the job with a smile. Update::: Just got done renewing our contract for 15 months only because it was cheaper. Ive been a bit disappointed since the complex is under new ownership. Ive noticed my water bill goes up every month and its only my husband and myself, sent mail and they stated that maybe its because were home more. NOT we have been working from home since we moved on which has been almost 3 years. Ive asked why the increase on the Apt, garage and garbage valet and was told because of tax increased. Management seems nice but they do make you feel like they dont care. I was told if we sign the contract early their having a drawing for those that renew early. Not heard anything. We are good tennants we pay before due date we pick up after our dogs and we keep our apartment cleaner than when we moved in. I feel that there is a lot of room for improvements around here. Ive heard from other tenants that they are having more issues not addressed. I guess we have to count our blessings. The maintenance guys are very nice but have been told by management not to call of they are not able to get to your ticket. I did send them an email on that and management never responded. Sorry for this negative review specially after I gave a good one months ago.
I wish I could only describe how much of a weasel this apartment complex is. I had renters insurance and because they didn’t have it on file they put me on their own renters policy when I had my own renters insurance for 5 YEARS!! That’s only one instance. That’s only the first part. There is NEVER parking. It could be a Tuesday night and every spot will be full. But you know what they did? They built a cover over several parking spots and offered them for lease. Are you kidding me? That and the basketball court is still messed up and the rim is crooked. Been that way for years and they refuse to fix it.
Ive lived here at this complex on two separate occasions, each time for 2 years. I have bought a house and hopefully my apartment days are over but in all the places Ive lived in the Stone Oak area over the past 10 years, this complex is by far my favorite. If I hadnt bought the house I would have stayed longer for sure. Ive never felt like the front office folks were incompetent or dont care like some of the reviews Ive read. I think some of these people are just overreacting to something specific they didnt like. All my dealing with these guys over the years from leasing questions to the occasional maintenance issue has always been handled professionally. The only thing I can agree with some of the people on is that parking can be a challenger sometimes, especially after 9pm. The recent parking pass/visitor pass thing has helped a little but I do agree that sometimes life just doesnt work out and you gotta park further away than youd like but it was never anything so bad that i got angry. I live in the front by the pool and Ive never had to park more than maybe one building away at the worst. Like everywhere else, you have good neighbors and bad, some people pick up the dog poo and some dont but overall, good place, good people. But mostly....great location!! When the new 281 improvements are done, this place is gonna be perfect for a lot of people. Id recommend them if youre looking for an apartment in the Stone Oak area.
I am a brand new tenant. I am also relocating from St. Louis MO. This is by far the worst experience Ive ever had with the management of this property. When I first applied for my unit I was so happy that I found a place that I liked. The units looked nice so I applied and it took a month to get a lease agreement from them to look over. Then after the lease was signed I never received one call from anyone inviting me to see the unit or do a proper walk through. They basically told me to just sign the lease and get it sent in. So my move in date comes and still no call with any information about the unit or times or any kind of scheduling for that day. I did receive and email but I dont often check my email either way the email said the move in time was 415 which I didnt see, mind you I just finished driving a moving truck for 15 hours with everything I own to be told I have to wait for the unit because of time constraints. So I had to cancel my movers because the wouldnt work that late. So Im stuck moving everything by myself up 3 flights of stairs. Theres more but Im so over it I just want it to be over with so I can have a place to live
Toured with Abby and couldn’t have had a greater experience! She is so sweet and answered all my questions with ease. Mission Hills has everything I am looking for in an apartment. With the rental/housing market being so crazy right now, I have been really picky with the locations I am considering. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed during my interaction with Abby, or the other staff. The location is great and is close to everything I need. It made me less stressed about moving again, and more excited for what’s to come in the future! From setting up the appointment, to going over all the paper work, it was organized and stress free! Thank you again Abby!
I lived here for only 8 months and at the time they required an $800 deposit at move in. I moved out July 31st, 2023 and it’s not January 6th,2024 and HAVE NOT received my deposit back. I have gone into the office multiple times and spoken with multiple people. I am sick and tired of getting excuses from the manager and assistant manager. I have called corporate and waiting on a response. Last time I was there the manager said the WiFi was down and would send me the forms I need to sign that afternoon, that was Wednesday and it’s now Saturday, I am sure the WiFi has been back since. Now when I call they don’t pick up the phone so I show up and I see both women just talking sitting down doing nothing. Do NOT MOVE HERE!!! They are irresponsible, extremely unprofessional and no one ever knows what to do around there.
I just recently moved in to this apartment complex so I don’t have any long-term feedback but I have to say so far my experience has been beyond positive. August, Kevyn and the office staff were all super helpful very informative and overall great to be around. My tour, lease and move in went smoothly without any issues. When I turned in my 48 hour Checklist I simply mentioned to the office that I had a very small drip in the kitchen sink. I didn’t even have time to file a work order before maintenance had come in and fixed it on their own. I hope living here it’s as positive as moving in here, so far I highly highly recommend this community! I already feel welcomed and at home!
Listen I have lived in apartments most of my life. And one of the downfalls is always the leasing office staff. Most that Ive ever dealt with were just downright rude all the time for no reason. However, Abby Tackitt is hands down the most pleasant, friendly, helpful apartment leasing office employee Ive ever come across. Shes one of the reasons Ill renew my lease. If youve done apartment living as long as I have you know...THATS HARD TO FIND!
Ive only been here 60 days and I am looking forward to the day this lease ends. I have never had issues with any other property I have lived at. I am pretty chill and I dont complain about much but I have to warn others. The reviews you see ARE NOT A LIE. See below:Its unfortunate that the office staff takes this beautiful property to 0 stars. Ive been dealing with so many issues since moving here, my car was broken into less than a week after moving here due to the gates being broken so long, it took maintenance over a month to fix my washer and the office staff makes it 100% clear that they dont care about you once they have you locked into a contract. I signed up for a special when I moved here and was given a statement in writing on what I owed for the following month, in which I paid... only to be told that the property manager couldnt do basic math and gave me the incorrect amount and then expected me to pay $500 immediately even though it was their error.I requested a corporate number and I was met with extreme aggression when I declined to accept an email address and requested an actual number to call which tells me they are aware of their poor ethics and are trying to hide it from their higher ups. They send passive aggressive emails weekly about new policies they have implemented and lock themselves in the front office so you cant visit them in person. They also shut their office phones off and youll get a disconnected notification about 2 hours before they are supposed to close so good luck if you need assistance after work. This place may be competitively priced on the market but you will not be taken care of in any way and you will have to deal with catty and unprofessional admin assistants. Definitely not worth your hard earned money try another quality property nearby.Im sure they will retaliate against me for this post too, so Ill be updating my experience as the year goes on. Hard working consumers need to be aware. I wish I was aware before signing to live here.
Parking in terrible. You will almost never have a parking spot near unit. When moving in I specifically asked for an upstairs unit got placed in a down stairs unit. Said they offer valet trash, never received a valet trash can so my services were almost canceled. Then when I called to notify the leasing office I didn’t receive a valet trash they questioned me upon it like I had reason to lie about never receiving a trash can. The lady over the phone was very argumentative and didn’t want to help solve the problem, but only create a bigger one. I don’t know if that was discriminatory or not. When asked to speak with property manger they weren’t available and then never followed up with me after sending an email. I also was promised a $250 credit move in offer that I had to reach out to the leasing office Multiple times to get applied. Who is running the property makes all the difference and I don’t think the right people are in place. If I know who owned the community I would have been made a formal complaint. Still doing my research on what further steps I can take. Maintenance will take a few days. You will hear everything your neighbors do in the unit. I can hear my neighbor when he goes on the patio, has kids over, and even using the bathroom. Looking to soon buy a home and be done with apartment communities. And the trash compactor by my unit is always dirty with trash everywhere.
My Fiancé and I just moved from Albuquerque, NewMexico a little over a week ago. We had looked into several apartment complexes throughout the city and, of them all, we fell in love with Mission Hills. We visited the complex on a Friday shortly before lunch and were greeted by the staff in a very professional and positive manner. Being out of state, we had to do a lot of our conversations with the staff through email. Each email that had been sent to a leasing consultant was replied to within 24 hours. There were a couple times I called that I couldn’t get a hold of someone in the office, which is to be expected, but it never caused me any inconvenience, as I would simply call back about an hour later and find myself speaking to a consultant within a couple of rings. The grounds are kept up very nicely and valet trash has proven its worth. The staff is very good at working with their tenants to make things as easy as possible while following their protocol.Parking spots can get a little tough to find after about 6 when people are getting home. Implementing a permit program could potentially lesson the problem with some tenants. Even if I can’t find parking right in front of my building, there’s usually some to the direct right or left of it. Walking a few extra steps never hurts! We had lived in a few apartment complexes in New Mexico and NONE of them compare with Mission Hills. I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars!!
Long post but worth the read if youre considering calling Mission Hills your new home. All of the reviews youre reading about the inadequate office staff are absolutely correct. The employees are constantly changing (which I understand and would not have an issue with but there is zero communication when a new person starts.) Ive lived here since Mar 2020 and at first, especially considering covid, I was understanding of the slow response time from both the office and the maintenance team but the entire time Ive lived here it is RARE to get anyone to answer the phones (the lines say theyre disconnectedquite often too which is weird AF) and/or return your call. And if you do good luck explaining once again what the issue is. I would have moved out when my lease was up but due to the death of my husband my 6 yr old has an extremely difficult time with change so I decided Id upgrade to a larger unit for 6 more months and give him a chance to get used to more space before an entirely new environment. I signed my lease for my new unit on Feb 11 with a move in date of Apr 1st. I was told multiple times that I would get the keys that morning only to find out that day that the carpets werent done yet. I had movers scheduled for the next morning because I was initially only given 3 days to move apartments and clean the old one. I did get the keys at about 4:30 but of course the carpets were still wet so I had to reschedule my movers and pay a fee to them for the short notice. The office did give me an additional 3 days to move so that was awesome. I dont know what cleaning company they use but the new unit had barely been cleaned. I spent 2 hours scrubbing the kitchen floor and cupboards because they were disgusting. Why didnt I just inform the office you ask? Because I didnt have 2 weeks for them to finally get around to it. Fast forward to today, I turn my keys in and had been told that when I did I would get my new mailbox keys......guess what? Nope. They dont have them. Supposedly theyre getting them tomorrow. ALL of this could have been avoided with just a little communication. They could have let me know they were running behind on getting the units cleaned (instead of giving me attitude when I expected to be able to move in when I had been told I was going to) so I could have rescheduled the movers in advance. They could have gotten new mailbox keys when they realized they didnt have them and a new occupant was moving in. Im only giving them 2 stars because some of the things that other people complained about are kind of stupid. They have added more parking and yes, it still isnt enough but we live in Stone Oak on hills, there are only so many options they have. Yes, sometimes the trash doesnt get picked up but usually its due to weather and although it sucks because we do pay for it regardless, just take it to the dumpster. I can almost guarantee Ill get some passive aggressive response to this as do I almost every time I try addressing something with them but people need to beware and understand what youre getting into. The move in specials are nice but once the rent goes back to normal $1300 is a lot to pay for the service that is provided. I have pics to prove everything Ive said as well.
MUST HAVE FLAWLESS HISTORY! They dont tell you this up front so they can take your money. yes i had to walk out on an apartment 3 years ago, thank you covid. I now make 3 time the money i did then. I did have another apartment in another state for 6 months in good standings. If this is what gets you denied, then the process should stop before you have to pay!
Upon touring, my friend and I were impressed with these apartments. We had stated multiple times that we were not from the area, that we were moving for school, that our guarantor was not from the area, that we were applying to jobs once we moved, etc. After submitting the application and paying $56.95 each, we were denied for a) our guarantor not residing in San Antonio and b) not having job offer letters. We felt scammed because we had expressly stated these things and were led to believe that nothing would pose a problem. This apartment complex has since not returned our calls or refunded us our application fees back. I have had to file a complaint with the BBB in hopes for a resolution. I do not recommend this place at all. I would give it 0 stars if possible for our wasted time and money.
This place was great until the new ownership. After the new ownership I was forced out in 7days. Before leaving I asked the new manager if I was update to date with all payments (rent, water, etc) which she stated yes but 4-5 months after moving out I received a letter saying from debt collections saying I owed January rent. I attempted to speak to the staff at Missions Hills but was told to call back later. I received no certified mail at my new address saying that I owed anything. I disputed the collections and requested the judgement that Mission Hills submitted to collections. I provided statements to collections that I paid for Jan rent. The collections then sends me a letter stating Missions Hills dropped the claim. In July, 6 months after i moved out!, after the “unpaid Jan rent” claim was dropped, I then received a letter from Missions Hills saying I owed 3 months of unpaid water so Missions Hills held my deposit. I would not recommend living here because the new ownership is terrible.
If I could give this place less than 1 star I absolutely would. The property itself and area are great, perfect for my small family. As for management...not so much. After being bought out, we have had nothing short of a terrible experience living here. Old management was so personable and friendly and even lived across the hall from us and built relationships with so many people in the community. New management lacks communication skills, people skills, and basic compassion. In the middle of a pandemic 1 day after a lockdown was announced they sent out a passive aggressive email to let residents know that even though the world is in a state of emergency and most are jobless, rent better be on time basically. They frequently leave the office early or close for personal reasons, and on one occasion I walked into the office to drop off rent and I was blatantly ignored while one lady put on lipgloss and walked right past me?? Oh and with new management came new maintenance who are not on top of things at all, my air conditioning is currently completely out for the 2nd time this month and no one has came to service it for 3 DAYS! RIDICULOUS, we had to go to a hotel because it got so hot so quickly in our apt. Overall there just seems to be no care or urgency with this new management or maintenance team. If we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic we would have broken our lease and moved, we hope to soon. We are sure we can pay these high prices somewhere much nicer with updated appliances and actually get treated with kindness and care like paying customers should be. These apartments have slowly become everything but luxury, they should probably stop advertising luxury at this point.Update: we recently moved out and are still being charge $100 for a car sticker that is MELTED into our windshield!!! We lived here for 3 years, so the cheap parking sticker that they gave us will not come off, but we were told that until we give it back we will have the charge on our account. The nightmare of Mission Hills Apartments just never seems to end!
I went on September 24th at this property one bed apt, I was told the manager could not do anything because the Mgmt is changing soon and the access is cut off until Oct 1st. I went back on Oct 1st, I was told the staff will call back, no response for 10 days, so I went back, I was given 1 apt # and told me to put an application online and it will be set. I went online to put an application, It did not work, I called 12 times multiple day, multiple times of the day, no response. I went personally again today. Lady at the office got mad and said because she is yelled all day by other customers so she doesnt feel like answering me and talking more about my apartment application concern. She wasnt ready to help me. I am shocked of the quality of care we can get there, Hope the Mgmt change wasnt a good move.GOOD LUCK current and future residents!!!response to your reply on Nov 10, 2022: AS I Mentioned, I was a future resident, interested to move in but with the experience, I moved to your neighbors site. Why do you expect me to contact people who had created the problem at the first place.
Updated: Ive lived here since September of 2016, and I have always loved my apartment, my view, and the quiet building I live in.The new management of 2020 is kind and patient (even when I lost my temper over the phone). They were gracious to me when I apologized over as well.Previously, under the old management of 2017, I had asked for dog poop station to be installed near my building they did install two stations, but it took my dog getting bit by a snake and me complaining a lot.I live at the back of the property and there is some natural area nearby. Though I keep my dogs close to the building one has been bit by a snake (2017) and the other bit by a scorpion (2018). These incidents both happened right next to the building, which was pretty scary. The first two years I lived here, there was not a problem with bugs inside. After some of the previous tenants moved in, weve had small roaches. The bug spray people come and it keeps it under control for the most part.Despite the wildlife/bugs issue, I have enjoyed living here. I rarely have any need for maintenance requests.
My son lives in the complex, pays for a second parking sticker so I can visit without the threat of my car being towed. THERE IS NO PARKING AT NIGHT and numerous cars that are parked in front of his building with no parking passes. If you are a woman, want to park at night and feel safe walking 6/7 buildings (if you are lucky) away from your apartment, make a few trips at night before you make a decision on leasing. Evidently the lack of adequate parking has been an issue with very poor public reviews for quite some time. Towing is random, you either enforce or don’t tow. This can be easily supported with one night of photos.
The new management team of Mission Hills is beyond incredible. What a dramatic improvement since Pelican came in. Thank you to Amber, Abby, Joey and the maintenance team for being so pleasant, attentive, and helpful. We appreciated the upgrades to the services and amenities. We unexpectedly transferred with a job relocation and the team was AMAZING from start to finish. They were helpful and understanding every step of the way. I think the character of an organization that gives their highest level of service to an OUTGOING tenant affirms that this team really shines. What a gift for the future tenants of Mission Hills. Thank you for everything. :)
The worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The staff is incompetent at best. After you move in, you become more a hindrance than anything else. They do not treat you the same. I urge you not to move here. I have lived here 6 months now, and have two packages stolen off my porch, have heard of numerous car break ins, and had several other incidents here. The list of items that I gave them of broken things in my apartment upon move in have yet to be corrected. My bedroom window doesnt even lock. They make promises that they cant keep. Not to mention the rent goes up every single month. When I ask about it, they come up with some BS excuse as to why it was higher this month than last. I am counting down the days until my lease is up, so I can get out of this place.
I lived in Mission Hills apartments for 6 years. I first lived in a 1 bedroom and then moved to a 2 bedroom. Overall, my experience has been positive. I always thought the management team was respectful. The maintenance guys are friendly, too. They always wave when youre driving by. That always stood out to me. The pool is gorgeous and well kept. The club house is also nice. Ive used it to hold events a couple times free of charge. It was very convenient and the management team helped a lot with the planning of times and such. As for the units, theyre nice. I always liked the modern cabinets in the kitchen. Also, 1 year when I renewed my lease, we negotiated a minor increase in rent for new laminate floors to replace the carpet, new ceiling fans, and new faucets/fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen. I had all the work done at once while I was on vacation for 2 weeks. I was very pleased with the results and loved my new floors. I havent had any issues with safety in my entire 6 years leaving at Mission Hills. My neighbors are friendly too. The reason Im not giving 5 stars is because of 2 things specifically: 1. Many times when you call the office, theres no answer. That irks me. Ive complained about this numerous times but one time when I did, they said we might have been with a customer and we dont answer if were with a customer. I personally dont agree with that because while youre trying to appease the new residents, you also have to tend to the current residents. At least answer and put on hold. 2. The parking spot situation is horrible. Theres only enough parking for about 60% of residents. That makes no sense to me. In my 1 bedroom, I often parked either in the fire lane or 3-4 buildings away. In my 2 bedroom apartment, theres easy access to a lower lever of parking in addition to in front of my building so its not as bad. Overall, Id recommend Mission Hills. I often do recommend them to many people.
I went to go visit my friend I came out about 9:30 PM and my car was towed on top of that my car was damaged. She then went to the office the next day and was told that there could only be one visitation pass per household which I think is ridiculous. They then continued telling her that she should pick up family or uber them to her house to avoid being towed. I have never heard or seen an apartment management this disrespectful. They were out of line for saying such things. It seems a little ridiculous to only have one visitor pass per household it looks to me like theyre in jail. Apartments are meant to have enough space for the residents AND visitors. Poorly managed place.
Dont recommend this place at all. Staff is the worst Ive come across in this area. I cant tell you how many new people I see in the leasing office, its like a revolving door. Ive messaged them 5-10 times with no response. Ive called over and over, only to hear the line has been disconnected message. Ive even knocked on the door for 5 minutes straight with a staff member looking right at me from inside the office and was still ignored. Parking enforcement is a clown show at best. Good luck finding any parking past 5PM. Trash valet is inconsistent yet we get charged for it. My best advice is to not rent here. Pay the few extra hundred and go somewhere else. There arent many pros to living here...oh and the contract, its like you sold your soul to the devil.
This is the worst apartment to live in. Don’t get me wrong the apartment is okay. Looks outdated, parking is bad. Wish they would actually tow. Management is the worst set of people I’ve come to see. They can’t do a thing correct but they sure know how to charge you for everything. Worked in the oil field and was home 1 week out of the whole month and my water was close to 200 dollars! Maintenance is terrible as well, I showed them an email stating I needed something repaired from a year before and no one has shown up. Finally when I move out they want to remove it from my deposit. Don’t live here. Never would recommend this place.
We only needed an apartment for 8 months while house being built. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.Reasons:1) No assigned Parking spots for renters. Good luck trying to find a place.2) bugs are terrible in apartments. I sweep twice a day and still have them all over floor3) 3 times I have had packages delivered to office in which they say have not been delivered, but FedEx has their signature. ALL 3 times I physically have gone back into the room to find them there. Seriously, can you not open your eyes??? They dont want to take the extra effort to help out.4) Apparently, no speed limit because people fly around corners, yes you can hear the wheels squeal.5) Yes they have a place to wash cars, but every time we try, someone is blocking the entrance illegally. I have complained, but they just say well we have a towing company that marks the cars. Can you not call the towing company immediately when you have a complaint? Doesnt help us.6) Concrete hallways nasty. We did ask them to spray wash them, which helped, but peoples trash sets outside apartment doors for days. I understand they dont pick up on Fri & Sat, but people do still put trash out and with the heat....nasty. If there are a lot empty liquor bottles out they dont even bother until I complained they had been there for weeks. I took pictures of them.Could go on and on...We rented thru a corporate housing firm and trust me we will be telling them to mark this place off their list.I hope this helps you to make your decision. I wish I had someone to be honest with me before we moved in.On the positive side, the maintenance people are super nice and Ryan has always been helpful. As far as price, I dont know as my husbands company is paying for our lease.ThanksPaula
Do not waste your time touring this place!! Josh, the leasing manager, gave us a tour and made us believe that we would easily be approved after asking many questions and mentioning we would be moving from another city. We applied Saturday, got a call from Josh Monday to confirm which unit we were applying to and was told it’ll take 48 hours (2 days) to be approved. We never got the call 48 hours later. We waited an extra day to give them the chance to call us back. We ended up having to take time out of our day to call them to get an update. Once we finally got a call back from leaving a message from another leasing agent, she told us that we needed a letter of income from a job in San Antonio. Josh NEVER mentioned needing this letter especially KNOWING that we were moving from a different city. As a manager, he should’ve known what documents are required. He made us waste $99 (Non-refundable) of OUR hardworking money for the application and admin fee AND ran our credit!!!! He had no empathy over the phone when I spoke to him about this. Make sure you ask what documents you need before applying since they FAIL to mention it. If they can’t call you back during the time frame you were told, they won’t ever call you.
I am one of the original tenants here at Mission Hills. I have lived here for 7 years and the ONLY year that was awesome was the very first year! The management was AWESOME!! They were always available and seen on the property. All issues were always taken care of immediately. The grounds look amazing! Maintenance requests were completed that day. Unlike today where you have to beg to get anything done. The community has gone WAY DOWNHILL!! Its sad to see how awful the community looks.....landscaping never occurs weekly like it has always been done...grass is disgusting, trash is all over in front of the bushes, dog poop is all over....and usually because the dog poop stations are full and people have to stack their dogs waste bags in the grass around the stations...DISGUSTING!! Trash cans are left out 24/7....we have raccoons at our building since the majority of people on the 2nd and 3rd floor leave their trash cans out 24/7 and often have food in the trash cans over the weekend. These issues should be taken care of on a daily basis by both management and maintenance. Trashcans should NOT be allowed left out, the landscaping should be kept up, breezeways should be power washed often....they look hideous!! But my neighbors as well as myself NEVER see management or maintenance taking car of anything around the community!! And the WORST about this complex is the PARKING!! I pay for a 2 bedroom apartment and I can never get ONE SPOT unless Im home before 630pm!! This is absolutely ridiculous!! I have been told for 4 years in a row that they were in the process of implementing a parking permit system so all tenants would have one assigned spot and additional spaces would be first come first serve....nothing has happened. We received an email in March this year that once again this was going to be put into place and now its August and nothing has been done!!! Im seeing that this community has gone so downhill because management and maintenance just dont care!!! Its really SAD!!! I will be discussing this with a higher up representative since no one returns your calls at the apt office!
Everything is good besides the new office people. They dont follow through with what they say and they like to take off work early or just not show up at all. The office tells you they have emergency maintenance so I called them this past Saturday to let them know that my a/c was not working and nobody came out til Monday. When the maintenance man came out today he told me the office lady never told him about any a/c problem I had even though she told me she would. But other than the office people the property is nice just need new people working in the office.
MUST READ: Let me start off by saying “DO NOT MOVE TO THESE APARTMENTS, THEY’RE THE WORST. The front desk lacks communication, they absolutely do NOT care for you or your problems with your apartment. They are completely clueless about everything. Save your self the money and frustration that you’re going to have if you live here. The parking here is horrible. Everyone parks where ever they please. My husband and I have been here for about a year, now he has been driving and parking his work truck “WITH PARKING STICKER” ever sense we moved here and now they have a problem with him parking here. They put a BIG ORANGE sticker on the driver side window, you know the sticker that is impossible to remove unless you have a blade. You would think they would live a letter on the front windshield to let you know. The front office is rude and careless. Let me not forget how they left us with out ACE FOR TWO WEEKS! During the summer. Their excuse was “ sorry there’s nothing we can do.” They didn’t care. The maintenance guys had no clue what they were doing and kept saying it will be fixed tomorrow and tomorrow came NOTHING HAPPENED, it was nothing but excuses. If you have a problem going on with your apartment the right thing to do is let them now right? Well we did and they never showed up till a month later. A month! Ridiculous... The front office lacks so much, they’re rude and never know what they’re doing. They’re always messing up in some way. These apartments are by far NOT luxurious*******DO NOT MOVE HERE.... Just a update we haven’t lived in theses apartments for a couple of months now, we have received a final bill of what we so call owe. They are charging us 100$ For trash they say we left in the apartment, yet we did NOT leave any trash what so ever in that apartment period. We have video evidence to show we did NOT leave anything behind. They are also charging us to clean the carpet and paint the walls. Why ? I have no clue. I will play a video of how we left the apartment and you will see the condition we left it in. Why they are trying to charge us extra? I don’t know and don’t understand. Total cost they’re trying to charge us 500$. Still dealing with these people. After all this time past they’re now trying to charge us.
Hi guys..Those of you who know me including the office staff know that if I need something done I simply dont quit till it gets done but in a friendly way. (lol) I myself have had good experiences here. I LOVE the location and all of the surrounding shops from getting my nails done, my groceries, all the restaurants, shopping,, love the carwash only a block away and my STARBUCKS. I love the location of the complex most of all because we are up on the hill and the breeze is wonderful.1) When I need anything done, it gets done within a reasonable amount of time. Maintenance are friendly and trustworthy.2) We used to have a hard time getting anyone to answer the phones, its true and they are old phones; however, not any longer. Since the new staff from Adalyne (leasing agent) to Ashley (assistant mgr) and Celina the property manager; the phones get answered most all the time now unless they someone in front of them OR they are in a meeting. And they answer with a smile and a friendly greeting!3) When it doesnt get answered, I simply leave a message and it does get returned.4) My emails are also answered. And guys let me tell you that during the storm we did not loose power due to the fact that we are right in front of the fire station (another added PLUS).*I know that as long as I choose to live in an apt, this is the location that I choose to stay.I love that the apartments have so many different floor plans and the budget to fit your needs. I am 5 min away from 281 and 8 min to 1604. I dont want to live closer to 1604 due to vandalism and love that we are snuggled in because it makes me feel safe and love being surrounded by houses instead of many other apts.So..If you are looking for a new apt this is the place to choose. Oh and the SCHOOL ARE GREAT HERE ALSO.Thank you staff for a job well done:)*One word of advice. Guys dont wait until you are so upset over a problem to go into the office. Get to know the staff, stop by and discuss any problem before it worsens and you will get the attention that is needed.
I have lived at Mission Hills since relocating to San Antonio in June, 2016. My experience has been nothing short of displeasing. I was referred to this area (Stone Oak) by an apartment finder agency, who shared that this would be the ideal place to meet my requests for a safe, kid friendly environment with a good school district. Now it is clear to me that this individual was only looking for profit from the referral, otherwise she would have referred me to a neighboring complex that are much nicer (I have personally seen for myself!) From day one I have had no results when communicating with management about concerns in my apartment. While they are all very nice people, issues DO NOT get resolved in a timely manner. In the short months I have lived here I have encountered a lack of adequate parking, stopped up drains, failing lighting in the kitchen and bathrooms, and a serious ROACH problem. When I moved in I noticed some dead roaches around the apartment initially and I, never having had ROACHES, assumed the previous tenant must have had poor hygiene. Well, about a month ago a frantic neighbor stops me, telling me about a very disturbing ROACH problem in her apartment (located directly above me). She tells me she is disgusted and that the apartments have done nothing to solve the problem, and that she is moving out. Ironically, just a couple weeks later I start to notice these tiny roaches all over my apartment!! Some bigger ones as well, but it is apparent that this building has an infestation because we are very clean people. In addition, since our track lighting has been out for several months now, I have not been able to see into our pantry to be sure that we arent eating food that could be contaminated. Today I threw away almost everything from my pantry, with the exception of canned food because I am in fear that I will feed my child something that has been contaminated by ROACHES. I have incurred the expense of replacing groceries, and interrupting my work day with multiple trips to the office. Sadly, I have requested for the lighting, the very minimal portion of this ROACH problem, to be repaired, and yet it has not been. I have had to make multiple trips to the office because when I attempt to call and leave messages, no one answers or responds. My problem here is that Im paying a pretty hefty chunk each month to live in what was advertised to me as a luxury apartment home. NOTHING about this place is luxury. Very dirty property, poorly working gates, and pool/hot tub, gym, weight room is always filthy. But yet I am paying each month for a service that I dont believe is being fulfilled. Since I have already addressed management on several occasions regarding my concerns, I feel the next step is to go above, contact the BBB, and to let the community know so that they do not make the same mistake I did.
Back again a year later with new management. Well I don’t appreciate that we are being charged to process payments now despite no options being provided to avoid additional fees. On top of that they sent the utility bill after the rent so now we are being charged twice in a month for something that should have been resolved. I understand it’s a small fee but it’s the fact that there is no way to avoid it and now the company is charging us twice which is unfair. ACH transactions are usually free when selected as the payment option, but not in this case and it’s disappointing.
We submitted our applications online and received an email that we would be contacted shortly - they never did. I had to constantly call all day and to not have anyone answer for the most part. I finally submitted all info and still no contact. Poor communication overall. I paid for two application fees(money In the trash at this point). Sucks that there is no other point of contact besides the office to address concerns. They must not want the business! I would not be a happy owner with its employees handling prospective business this way. I should’ve done my due diligence and read previous reviews! We definitely learn from our mistakes.
I love my apartment at Mission Hills because it is quiet and so cozy! My interactions with the staff have been positive as well. Thanks Courtney for always being pleasant to work with. I really havent had any other interactions with other staff members, except for one guy who I think may be maintenance who always smiles and waves from the golf cart. Its a pleasant place to be.
I advise they reconsider their receptionist.. We just came to look at the apartments from New Braunfels and she told us they don’t do tours when it’s raining, we told her that wanted to see the INSIDE of an apartment and again she told us they don’t do that because it is still wet outside, she seemed very uninterested to even tell us about the apartments and just told us to come back when it’s not raining. Not worth your time
I have lived at Mission Hills for 3 years. When we signed on we got a pretty good deal on a unit, $747 for 750~sq ft (one bedroom). Its more expensive than other parts of town but the area is nice and everything you need is pretty close except downtown. Now, our unit costs $859/mo.Maintenance is almost always prompt. 95% of the time when I make a request online in the morning it gets fulfilled same day. Havent really had to hassle about anything, except for dripping we experienced under the sink which led to some molding in the wood (they painted over it instead of replacing the board).Management is okay, but they have gone through several manages since weve been there. Every time our lease is up they raise the rent an obscene amount, and every year we talk with them to lower it back down a bit more. They will work with you if you take the time to go and talk to the manager. They probably just count on most people to just take it and start paying more. Just dont let them give you any crap about it being the average rate for the area.Amenities are so so. The pool is small but they keep up with it pretty well. I think they have since fixed it, but when some machines broke in the weight room it took months to get it fixed. Everything else is pretty standard. The unit itself is pretty nice. Take note of where the unit is and which way the windows are facing. Some units get almost no direct sun light. Appliances are pretty new and look nice. Just take note of everything before you sign that you think needs to be taken care of and they will do it. When we resigned they replaced our carpet and updated our fixtures (new ceiling fans\bathroom lights\faucets). Each unit has its own power meter, but each building shares a water meter so that gets divided amongst the tenants per building. Our water bill usually is between $40-60. Havent had issues with power outages, internet in the area is stable (our unit already had AT&T set up, but you can do TWC too). Patios are nice, and pretty spacious even for the 1 bedroom apartments.Neighbors that we have had are mostly small families or other younger couples. No late night partying during the week, so if you want quiet, youre in luck. Walls are sorta thin though and if you have neighbors with small children upstairs you can usually hear it..but it is what it is. Most of the time thing settle down around bedtime anyway. There are some areas that do not see a lot of direct sunlight and also are favorites for neighbors dogs to pee in. As a result..there can be a pretty nasty piss smell around some buildings near the bushes. If you live on the first floor near one of these areas, your patio may smell too bad to spend any time out on it.Safety wise, its Stone Oak so its pretty safe. There were a couple reported break ins on some first floor units during the day, I think there were two in three years weve been there. My fiance also had her car broken into overnight once, but it is very possible that she had left it unlocked on accident. If she did lock it, at least the crooks used a slim jim instead of busting a window.Overall, Mission Hills is a very pleasant place to live. Getting a house here in Stone Oak is very expensive, but apartments are very affordable and you can enjoy the beautiful landscaping, both natural and man made. Lots of places close by to keep you entertained, and the hill country is not too far north. Traffic can be a pain at times, but its manageable.
I visited Mission Hills recently with a friend who was looking for an apartment. I found the whole experience to be quite exceptional as these type events go. The staff was warm and friendly answering all our questions. While parking was a question, they seem to have a solution that works for the entire community. We definitely encountered worse in our search of others. The place appears well kept, clean, and landscaping looked very nice.
My time at Mission Hills apartments have been wonderful. There was a situation in the beginning, where I was assigned a apartment that wasn’t ready. But once I informed the management team on what happened. The team lead, Ashley Woody personally took on my issue herself. So that she could ensure that the issue got resolved quickly. I’m glad that I stay in a community that is lead by such a true professional in Miss Woody. Thank you again, for your assistance on this matter.
My experience with this complex was great before the complex was bought out. I had previous made deals with the local staff for no security deposit. They said they cant fulfill the request, because they didnt see any notes. They lost my first payment even though i specifically handed it to them in person and they had it recorded with my file. (this was later resolved with receipts). The front gate has not worked since Feb of this year. The original management was more in touch with the community was willing to work with the community as a whole. I will only recommenced this place as it does have a great view and the apartments are great living spaces. All the other issues associated with this property can be avoided elsewhere, with similar living spaces.Edit: they finally installed a new system for the gate. We all submitted out information as requested by the office. They made this change official on a Friday with no time for testing and/or verification of working status. Theres upwards of 10 cars lined up in front to get access to the gate. The only way to get back into the complex is to wait for someone to exit which defeats the entire purpose of the gate. Once I called the 24/7 mainitiance request to get this addressed and get the gate opened they advised me to call back and address the issue Monday. The execution of this new gate was so poor it looks like child play. This complex also has stated this issue will only be handled on an appointment basis meaning there is so real turn around time. This complex has spent more time adding unneeded items and charges for luxury. The gate issue should be addressed immediately and the fact the manager as stated on the 24/7 maintaince call cant seem to address this issue immediately affecting the entire complex is insane.
LOL, this place is the WORST place to rent an apartment!!! If you drive by and consider trying it out, DONT! Just keep driving! My whole experience has been awful, the only decent person in this staff was Courtney! The staff is rude and honestly dont care about the people who live here! Maintenance takes FOREVER to get a job done! My A.C was out for about two weeks and mind you I have two kids under the age of 3 and I kept having to call and tell them about my a.c! They also had a huge MOLD problem and had made a big hole in my washroom and that also took about a month to fix and when they did fix it they left a big mess in my washroom! They came to check the vents and the guys they had come check them, broke something in the restroom and that also took forever for them to fix!!!! This place is such a horrible place to rent from! This doesnt even deserve a star. Yall Im telling yall just KEEP DRIVING AND DONT LOOK BACK! Parking sucks at this place you have park super far from your building. My sink is also loose and just drips all day!! I put in a work order so lets hope they get to it as soon as possible like they always say! They say they take these reviews seriously but doesnt seem like it because everybody still complains and nobody seems happy!!! Im so glad my lease is up soon because I will NOT be releasing at this place! I will make sure that I NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!!!
We had a great tour with jennifer! She made us feel like these apartments are great for our expanding family! We loved the way she explained everything thoroughly and made us feel she really cared about what’s best for us rather than what’s best for her. I would def recommend going in and speaking with her in regards to finding a new place to call home! We are def going to make this our new home! Thank you Jennifer!
This past week my wife and I toured Mission Hills and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds at the property. The office staff were so kind and positive. Chloe Mae showed us around and was very attentive and helpful with all questions that we had. She even had snacks and refreshments for us to enjoy during the tour! We are so excited to make Mission Hills our new home this summer.
I love living at the beautiful Mission Hills Luxury Apartment Homes. It is a wonderful environment with great neighbors who are thoughtful and quiet. Missions Hills is a great place to call home. Grounds are well kept; maintenance crew are efficient, fast, and timely. Apartments are well maintained and bug free! Management is friendly, professional, and try their best to be helpful.
Our experience at this complex was fair at best. Pros: Very nice quality units with good floor plans, well maintained amenities, prompt and professional maintenance, and great area of town. 100% of my 2 star review stems from the poor managment. The managment prior to the community being bought out was great, but the managment that took over have some real communication and organization issues. We opted to end our lease early because we were waiting for a high demand townhome to come available. Upon moving out we recived a bill for over 300 dollars AFTER we had confirmed with the office that we were square with all of our early move out fees. We contacted the office six seperate times days and even weeks apart each time regarding this charge we recived in the mail. We also attampted many times to Log on to our resident portal to pay the remaining balance even though we were given no documentation as to what the charge was for, and each time we were denied access to our account. The one person in the office who is capable of helping us was almost always out sick or on vacation and it seemed no one else in the office had the authority to access our account. (Its concerning that there is only one person on the entire staff who can access and give us information on our account; this is very unprofessonal) We were told six times that this individual would call us back. We were not ever contacted. It has been months and even now that the charge has been sent to collections, we have still been told, shell call you back. This issue is STILL unresolved and we still have no idea what this charge is for. Now we get to pay it through a collection company and get a ding to our credit but at least we can pay it at all now 🤷♀️. As long as this complex is run under its current managment, I cant reconmend it. Managment makes all the difference in your rental experience and unfortunatly for this very nice and well-located community, their mangagment staff brought our 5 star experience down to a 2 in a matter of weeks. Im hoping they read this and make some much needed changes.
I’m going to second so many of these other reviews. Day we moved into 531 I think it was in Nov 13’ from a 1200mi drive the fridge was rancid and we had to have the apartment and appliances cleaned. come late summer a/c out for two weeks. When they fixed it, they had to fix it a few more times over the next several weeks because it hardly worked. they screwed something up that left me with a $620+ light bill for a 1 bdrm apartment, I’m pretty positive the heating strips were turning on when the a/c came on. This was followed by a 400+ light bill, during sept and oct right after the repair until it was finally fixed properly. Property mgr tried to tell me we had a/c on too much. Not at all, she split the bills with me which in hindsight was still complete bs. Neighbors downstairs brought roaches though the property manager did get them and the roaches evicted fairly quickly. Black mold in the vents at the apartment, we should have just switched apartments instead of bleaching it ourselves, who knows what we didn’t see. Had a service call can’t remember for what and the tech just quietly opened the door without knocking and walked in. He’s lucky to be alive. Fortunately I was home in bed naked(worked nights) and not my girlfriend. When I jumped his a$$ about it he said “sorry I thought I rang the doorbell”. None of these apartments had doorbells. He had no answer for that. I took their lock off and put my own deadbolt key lock on after this and another incident with someone trying to get into the apartment overnight while my girlfriend was home alone. In my opinion not a safe place for women though it looked so on the surface. No point in having a gate when it was just left in the open position all night Friday and Saturday nights. Girlfriend had cars follow here home on more than one occasion. I did enjoy the amenities here, they were well kept. I would never allow any woman I cared for to stay here, nor would I again. Oh and there was an loser driving a white CTS-V leaving threatening notes on women’s cars after doing 70 through the Barbara Bush Middle school zone(I tried to follow and confront him one day but could not keep up), he lived in the sister complex just below Mission Hills. Then they they had the nerve to try and steal my security deposit saying it wasn’t clean enough(it was very clean) until I sent them move in vs move out photos that clearly showed them how wrong the were and they refunded it. Property manager I forget her name was kind of condescending too, the rest of the staff was fine, though they were always new.
Recently went in for a tour & loved the ambiance the staff was super friendly, my tour guide KATALINA was very informative & helpful. Definitely recommend these apartments.
I have not lived in an apartment complex in over 30 years and was skeptical regarding how helpful staff would be in such a large complex. I was completely wrong. Both Monique and Ashley the assistant manager went well out of their way to ensure all my answers were addressed and that if I had any problems they were taken care of with expediency and professionalism. I am very pleased with the quality of service and response from staff any time I have a question or service. I would most definitely recommend mission hills to friends and family.
If I could give this apartment complex zero ratings I would, based off of how I was treated. When going to an apartment complex, for a tour you are supposed to feel very welcomed. Christine, however was very judgmental with her looks. To mention, Im a proud member of LGBTQ+. Upon arrival my wife and I were blown away by the amount of times that she would go into office to speak with someone and get information but came back with no useful information for us whatso ever. Every time Christine would leave to go gather the information she needed. She would come back and forget more than a few times. Then, When we were already done with the tour. Starting the application process online, backing out of our parking space, already leaving, Christine comes running out to inform us that there is only a 2 pet policy. We have 3 ESAs. Meaning I can have them there with no issues, with the correct documentation. When leaving they disconnected their phones, for a good 30 minutes. I kept calling and calling to speak with a manager, and nobody would answer. Finally, someone did answer and it was Christine. (:She knew exactly who I was and didnt want to speak with me. Once I said my name she placed me on hold and someone else jumped on the line. I got into it with her as well. She insisted that only 2 pets were allowed and kept insisting that ESAs & Service Animals were considered PETS. WHICH THEY ARE NOT. I threatened to reach out to San Antonio Housing Authority & she didnt like that. She said right away Theres no need, I can reach out to my supervisor Its been 3 days and still no word back! (:Mission Hills is a very beautiful apartment complex, dont get me wrong. And for the price is even better. But the Office employees need better customer service skills.Entrata Inc. is the corporation that they lease through.
My family and I had a great experience at Mission Hills. The staff was courteous and accommodating. We had our childrens birthday parties in the gorgeous clubhouse. The grounds were always clean of trash and the complex was quiet. The only reason we moved was because we bought a house. We would recommend Mission Hills to our friends and family!
Very unhappy with service from the office. While our state is in a Covid crisis and our mayor has issued an amend on vehicle registration this apartment complex decided to put a orange sticker on my disabled license plate vehicle due to expiration expired. And has threatened to tow my vehicle. Tags expired a month ago! Could not reach anyone in the office for hours when I finally drove down to the office they would not open the door and the lady was very rude. Per the governor of Texas no vehicle registration is required to be done until 60 days after back to normal operation hours. I have been a resident here for almost 4 years and at this point I cannot wait to leave.
I use to live in these apartments and they are way over priced. We even had the smallest unit! Most of these review you will see its about parking issues and its 100% true! Lets face it they will never get any more parking spaces because they dont have the room for it. I also had a ticket one time for my car that i had just gotten not even for two days and the ticket said it had been there weeks....like what the hell? Not even that but my friends apartment got broken into and they lost a lot of things. Even a car was stolen from here when i lived here.ProsArea is nice and convenientand thats about it
So far the only issues I’ve had are that the apartments look absolutely nothing like the pictures they have on their site and maintenance takes forever and doesn’t seem to actually know what they’re doing. My apartment is all carpet and brown counter tops which is the total opposite of what’s in their site. My restroom looks absolutely disgusting and we seem to have no hot water. I just wish I was getting what I’m paying for here.
I moved in recently and have had numerous of occasion where I had cockroaches in my apartment. There was a nest behind my refrigerator due to lack of cleaning before I moved in. Ive communicated with the front office and corporate, but all I get back is that they will send pest control. Ive never felt so uncomfortable in a place I stay at I would be eating, I would be sitting watching tv, I would be in the shower, and they would come out. Sadly the only time you will get a problem resolved quickly is if you owe them money.
I met the whole team and they are all fantastic. Amber, Abby Joey are so nice and caring in the office. The maintenance Abel, Roy and Rick are great as well. So grateful for new management ❤️
I will not be renewing my lease with this complex.1. the staff is rude2. they never answer the office phone, EVER3. if youre not home by 7 pm youre SOL with finding a parking spot near your building. I have been towed from my own apt complex bc one night there was no parking whatsoever and I was forced to park in a handicap4. they had promised they would replace the carpet in my unit before I moved in and that DID NOT HAPPEN. Previous tenant had a dog and even after vacuuming 100 times, I still pick up animal hair and dog food. (im not a dog fan)5. my kitchen counter is loose, my sink is loose.6. PARKING SUCKS. if youre a female always carry pepper spray with you and get prepared to walk hundreds of feet to get to your building in a poorly lit complex.
WOW WOW WOW! This property is great. Love the new staff at Mission Hills and truly believe that they have everyones best interests in mind. The complimentary bagel bar was a great idea and the staff are always friendly and approachable. Great views of the hill country from this property and the grounds are well maintained. Community is very nice as well and I have met some amazing people.
Everything was taken care of by Brandon Schoelkoph, set up process was completely painless. He was able to arrive at my home in less then 30 mins and set up my network in the same amount of time. He is extremely responsive and explained the plan I chose thoroughly and threw in a Ethernet port, super helpful and respectful. Definitely will follow up with him again in the future if I have any questions!
I was very discussed when the manager harassed me back in February and now Im being threatened for getting towed because my vehicle dosnt have a parking pass even though nobody elts get in trouble for not haveing one. Now I have to sleep every night hoping my vehicle dosent get towed the next morning, but the property manager dosnt seem to care as she told me on the phone that its not her problem and in exact words she said if its such an issue then you need to get a house. So its my fault for paying every month and its my fault for living here I guess? Im telling everyone on here just rent a house these people are ridiculous. BTW move the damn trash bin out of the entrance!!!!
Shanice Cole was the best of the best 😁. I was waiting on my background to come back and when she told me I got it in I cried cause I never had one in my name in years :) Thank you. Oh by the way well going to celebrate the welcome home party
Overall not a bad experience here. Management is nice enough but office always seems busy. The upgrades were nice. Obviously not every place is perfect but overall the apartments are clean, other residents are fairly quiet and the price makes up for any complaints I might otherwise have
We have lived here for 11 years now (we were the 1st & only to live in our apartment). The management company changes often. Currently, they do not keep their appointments (the manager made an apt with us and then didnt show up or call us to reschedule). They often times do not answer calls &/or say they will call back but don’t. This place is overpriced & all I see management good at is taking people’s money & renovating the office. BEWARE! Oh, & if you have a noisy neighbor, they say there is nothing they can do about it (so their written contracts are null & void). We CAN’T WAIT to get out of here! 👎🏼
This is my second review on this place and I wish I could move out. Every time I call the office, either no one answers or someone answers and tells me we will take care of it and they never do. My AC is now broken for the second time, took them 2 months to fix it the first time so we will see how long it takes this time. I also no have a bird trapped in the vent in my bathroom that has a nest at the outside entry, the bird will probably die before they even come look at it. That will be a lovely smell. I would advise you not to waste your time with this place, no matter how great a deal they promise you.
Showroom was not what we got. Office is no help. Maintenance takes 3 days to complete and neighbors who are loud are not addressed! Def NOT luxury apartments and if I can save someone time and stress in helping them look elsewhere I will! Worst apt I’ve been to in SA! But it seems it’s been like that for over 5 years! Should have read more reviews! Oh and they delete the bad comments that tell the truth!!! Pfft says a lot!
I’ve been very happy living at Mission Hills Apartments. The office staff are always friendly and helpful and the maintenance guys here are the bomb. They always wave and smile when I drive by and they never fail to say hello and ask how my day’s going, when I see them face to face. I think that’s awesome!!!
This apartment is nice but the people living here is another story like you heard before dont judge a book by its cover. The first day we move in we got the cops called on us and then my husband invited one of the neighbors to hangout with him totally disrespectful and to mention my husband serve our country proud he is a Veteran of United States Marine Corps with disabilities he dont need to earn no one respect but to him he feels un welcome here. The bathroom was cloged with water and flooded the whole bathroom for like two weeks the neighbors under us has a noisey dog that howls but we ignore that stuff but he doesnt do the same with us. You can bearly find parking here at times. The good part of all of this is the price and layout. I wish yall were more respectful to our veterans. They served this country so you can live another day. I like the people in the office but the people of this community suck balls. Semper Fi ( Always Faithful )
If lease contracts didn’t get people STUCK here this place would have to close down. They oversell parking, charge for guest passes, but don’t pay for tow trucks. Gates are always open and whenever you leave a negative review all they do is post a catch all “well we don’t tolerate this type of stuff. Can’t you tell by this generic answer of ours with no follow up?”Like this has to be a joke. This has to all be a huge practical joke. What is the actual plan to remedy the parking here? Like what is the actual plan. People want to know.
May be nice but Application process a mess. Made well over the amount, was denied and want to change now what can get qualified for approval once I let them know I had other ways to verify approval. Should’ve listened to the reviews and left this place alone, At least I would’ve had my application fees still. They will eat your money up and spit you out right after
Where do I start. Let’s see it is 9:30 pm and my son has state testing tomorrow morning, so naturally we want him to get a great nights sleep. Well we can’t do that. They are doing work directly above us and causing a HUGE racket. So we called the “courtesy officer” or lack there of, and we were told we had to call the police. So that’s what we did. This is so ridiculous to have work going on this late at night. I wish I could play the recordings.
Renter BEWARE! Save yourself the headaches that you are going to have if you live here. The PARKING is atrocious! If you dont mind a 10 minute walk to your apartment/car before work or after a hard day of work, or shopping. The property is wonderful my apartment is great but if I had known HOW HORRIBLE the parking situation would be, I would have gotten a SMALLER apartment so that I could afford to PAY FOR a parking garage ($125 extra per month!) I got home at 9pm tonight and there was NO PARKING near my building & I had to park far and walk in. But this is a normal occurance for those of us living here. If you work late or come home late, expect to hike home! The PARKING situation is ruining an experience that should be a great one.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. Ive lived here for over a year and my AC has now broken about 3 times. The first time it took them 2 months to fix it. Now its broken again and apparently its not a priority to them to fix it even though its 90 degrees and humid outside. The people in the office act completely clueless. You have to call 50 times and go up to the office if you ever want anything to get done. I wish I could turn off the AC in their office for 2 days and let them see how it feels.
The leasing office team is dedicated and hard working. Tim handled the pricing and information. He worked with us with utmost attention and communicated quickly. Krystle is the new person there and is very helpful. Overall a very nice and quiet community.
Great staff, never had a problem here, if I didn’t have to move out of state, renewing my lease would be a no-brainer
This is a really nice apartment complex with amazing views. I would in fact love to start a whole life here! It’s on the way better side of the usual apartments you see in the San Antonio area!!
My experience was awesome! ABBY helped me in every way possible. She was very patient, knowledgeable of her job and made me comfortable with my decision to call Mission Hills my home. Thanks ABBY
Ashley from Mission Hills is absolutely amazing to work with! No matter if I have a problem that needs fixed or if Im picking up a package she always has a smile on her face. I re-signed my lease this Spring and cant imagine living anywhere else!
Do NOT live here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Apartment was ok but management team is incompetent and unprofessional. Never had any service requests completed and paid WAY too much for water. One person should not be paying over $60/month for water. It looks nice from the outside but if you see the Mission Hills sign, KEEP DRIVING!
Great staff. Very clean and beautiful property. Maintenance is very attentive and always getting things done. Amber and her staff gave definitely changed things around for the better! Thank you so much!
I’ll be happy when my lease is up. My apartment has an issue with the Air conditioner and my bill is $300 plus a month. Never any parking...
The staff and maintenance is great and kat and Abby were really helpful
Just recently moved out after 2.5 years here. I only left because of necessity. Great staff and excellent service. Even the process for moving out was smooth and hassle free. The location is great for highway access and shopping.
Service is great. The maintenance team is very helpful and on point. I am a new resident and had a couple of issues when I first moved in. A phone call to the office and all was well when I got home.
Apartments were sold to Asset Living in 2020 and automatic payments cancelled; wouldnt waive late fees and Ive been paid rent on time every month for two years.
My move in was very easy and Roxann was extremely helpful during the process. The apartment complex is very nice and well kept plus they have valet trash which is a huge plus.
New management is great, theyre replacing the front gates with new ones today! amber, joey and abby are all extremely helpful, understanding and pleasant!
Just want your application fee not new residence, make well over the amount to be approved but because it is not an hourly amount we were denied even though it was discussed prior to putting in an application and verified by HR and pay stubs on the checklist for approval it says it only needs to be verified by the jobs HR and it was but apparently they lied and get to make up whatever rules they want to follow after you pay your fees should have listened to other reviews but figured there was no way for a denial we were wrong
Property location is amazing!! But rent kept increasing then went through 7 apartment managers horrible! Two of them were great unfortunately they gone! When will place ever be sane!!!
The management new is POOR, with no manners. Will NOT be renewing lease. Parking is very poor, if you cannot find parking you must park far out of your way, or else you will be towed. BAD MANAGEMENT
Kind of ridiculous that the front office won’t fix the basketball rim after it’s been broken for a little over two years. Suppose to have 24 hour availability and it’s unusable
Management is amazing and always responds quickly. Great place to live and great community! I especially love the clubhouse and gorgeous pool - Awesome for entertaining.
I love living here. The sunsets or sunrise are always very nice to watch. The hwy and HEB are very close. The staff is also very nice.
Very nice apartments. Maitinence is actually good. Front desk lacks communication. But major things they will email you
I went in with an issue and left with a huge smile, new friends and a bag of candy. These peeps are so much better vs the previous management.
We have lived here since January and have not regretted our choice. The office staff is great and any maintenance issues are promptly resolved. Couldnt have picked a better place!
Poorly managed and HUGE parking problem. My car was towed last night even though it has a parking permit on the windshield and was parked in residents parking. Management has not provided a reason for illegally towing my vehicle
I had the best experience ever since i walked in. Erika was exceptional. Fantastic atmosphere. Looking forward to making this place our home...!!!
Abby assisted me and was very respectful and patient with me while being very enjoyable to work with.
Went in looking to lease an apartment . Everyone was very friendly. A big thank you to Cliena and Shauna for all of your help.
A friendly management team takes all measures to make living here comfortable and safe.
Absolutely love these apartments! Beautiful layouts for reasonable prices And the staff is amazing :)
Nice area, and nice apartments BUT Parking is terrible, be ready to walk a good distance if you come home after 10pm Ive seen certain tenants with 2-3 cars taking up spaces.
New management seems to really care about the residents! 5 stars. New employees in the office are all helpful
Great community overall new management team has been very helpful and eager to assist with any questions I had. Thank you for all the hard work!
Amber, Rik and Joey deserve all the kudos! They do such a great job!
This place is so amazing, 10/10 recommend especially if you have kids there’s so much room for them to play
Chris the maintenance man was so helpful, kind and professional, he completed all work orders in a timely manner.definitely appreciated. thank you
The place is beautiful, I would recommend it to anyone who looks for a comfortable place to live, even with kids.
Quick View Security Gate were Open ...Traffic on inside roads were Bad ... Speeding by 2 Cars ... Drivers Appeared Angry about Resident Traffic
Lived here three years. Its really not bad. Just little things here and there that can be annoying.
Im glad that the new team has started making positive changes here. I look forward to seeing more improvements in the future
The property is amazing, the newly upgraded units are gorgeous, and the staff is very friendly!
These apartments are great. From facility/amenities to the staff and management.
Thank you Roxann for all that you do. You have turkey made the move in transition great.
Absolutely love this complexGreat managment and wonderful location!
Very nice and Great customer service!! ❤️
Terrible management, mailbox’s broken for 3+ months, no maintenance available, garbage piled up by dumpster.
I love my place but parking is awful.
Has everything you need a very nice area.
Not bad
Dont move here
Never been there
