One of the nicest apartments I’ve ever lived at. I only moved in a couple of months ago but I already look forward to living here for a while. The staff is super attentive and always there when I need help or information. My favorite part about this place is the 24/7 access to amenities, specifically the pool and gym. The pool is incredible and I often find myself staying in it longer than I plan. I always recommend this place to my friends whenever they’re looking for apartments. I even got some to sign a lease here!
I’ve lived here for about 4 months and I haven’t had many issues. If I did, they were resolved super quickly, I also love the nature everywhere. My dog Sasha loves the dog park!
I love my new apartment and the wrap around patio! Johanna and Joseph were the best. They also stayed open late for me since I dont get off of work till the evening.
I just moved in, and Alfredo and the manager were so nice. The manager came out and introduced herself and I’ve never experienced that before. I have rented forever, and this is definitely different. Thank you for helping me out!
*UPDATE*I’ve called and emailed the leasing office to get this rectified and have not heard back. Don’t use a bot response to pretend you care about fixing situations.Look- this place seems really great on the surface. In reality they aren’t. I moved into a dirty apartment, with the previous tenants stuff still inside, their hair still in the shower, toothpaste still in the sink. Car fresheners in the air vents, and 4 service requests within the first week of moving in. In total I had 14 service requests with this place. And while the maintenance crew was great- it was a rotating door, with constant new people(which tells you everything you need to know.)When trying to speak to Kristin about how upset I was when I initially moved in- her response was ‘lower your expectations’. This is ghetto living for luxury rent. In no way shape or form is this property luxury. In fact- the only requirement an apartment complex needs to say they’re luxury is new appliances. The gym was so dusty and gross with nothing to clean the equipment with but a roll of paper towels. The pictures are NOT what it actually is. Smoke and mirrors is what they’re best atThey’re overpriced, overrated and scammy. There are WAY better apartments that are way more affordable than canyon reserve.
I recently moved into Reserve at Canyon Creek, and my family couldn’t be happier. It was also an easy transition to move in. I love the fact that they take the time to get to know you, and if you’re a good fit for this establishment. It is also nice to see how many amenities you have access to.
I was forced to find an apartment as soon as possible as I go through a major phase change in my life, and the Reserve at Canyon Creek was best suited to my needs. Jazmine in the front office did a great job of getting my unit ready in under a week. Since then, she has also become a good friend and helped me adjust to my new life. Joseph is also absolutely wonderful and always friendly and courteous. The whole office staff, and the few interactions I have had with the maintenance crew, everyone has been wonderful. It isnt the quietest place I have ever lived (coming out of a house), but every resident Ive met here has been friendly, almost reminds me of my midwest home town where everyone greets everyone with a smile.
I have been here for about a year now and have absolutely loved it. What really sold me was the built-in fireplace, I get tons of compliments and it adds such a classy touch. I love how updated the finishes are. The staff is always helpful. I placed a work order on Friday and Yvonne took care of it super quickly. I can’t recommend this property more :)
Relocatting from New York in 2023 and just toured this beautiful community. The apartments are massive and the price is the best in San Antonio! The leasing office staff was awesome !They really took time to find the best apartment that fit my needs. Ive seen 10 other places in the area. Reserve at Canyon Creek is #1 !!!
I’ve been living at Reserve at Canyon Creek Apartments for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things about this community! One of the biggest factors for me is feeling safe, and I definitely feel secure here. The gated entry and well-lit grounds give me peace of mind every day.The customer service is top-notch. Every time I’ve had a question or maintenance request, the staff has been friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive. They truly care about the residents and go above and beyond to make sure everything is handled quickly and efficiently. The atmosphere here is quiet and welcoming, making it a great place to call home. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and well-managed place to live!
(Tell them Lee at Apt 1434 sent you if getting a apartment there might get me rent off idk lol) Got to say I love the place. Was looking for something that had a decent kitchen. Cause I am a chef by trade and attending college to get my associates degree. Veronica and team you are the best! Y’all went out of y’all’s way weeks later to let me know an apartment size I was looking for was open. Ty means the world to us.
I recently moved into Reserve at Canyon Creek, and I couldnt be happier! The location is fantastic, offering a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by beautiful scenery while still being close to everything I need. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, and feels like home. The staff has been incredibly helpful and welcoming from day one, making the move-in process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Reserve at Canyon Creek to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained place to live!
I recently moved into Reserve at Canyon Creek, and I am absolutely loving it! The apartment is spacious and modern, with a great layout that really feels like home. The amenities are fantastic – the pool is perfect for relaxing on a sunny day, and the gym has all the equipment I need for a great workout without having to leave the community. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the move-in process smooth and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend Reserve at Canyon Creek for anyone looking for a beautiful and well-maintained place to live!
I had really amazing customer service from Jaden!! He was very kind and patient and he had a great sense of humor. I just moved in and am very excited to use the fitness center!!
This place does not deserve any stars but I had to put at least one in order to post this review.I had a roach infestation that took them months to take care of. Professional exterminators had to be called in to do the job right. Maintenance work orders took a long time to get addressed and they would be marked as completed before the problem was fixed. The bathtub was disgusting. It had mold and was peeling. They resurfaced it and even then it was peeling. No matter how much I cleaned it stayed dirty. It was embarrassing to have guests over.My mailbox did not have a door for months. They told me they would look into it and it took over 2 months and several phone calls to get it fixed. They blamed it on the post office and when I went to talk to the post office they said that was an apartment problem. It was so much back and forward with the people in the leasing office before they finally decided to install the door on my mailbox. Literally anyone could have reached in there and taken my things. My ac broke and they gave me a window unit. They fixed the vent in my room but it still never worked. The temperature in the bedroom was significantly hotter than the rest of the apartment. When i first moved in it was a nightmare and the apartment was given to me in the absolute worst conditions. Many hidden fees are included in the rent, so if you plan on touring this place be sure to ask about everything because none of this will be voluntarily disclosed to you. When you move out you will be charged fully for the resident fees and that includes cable and wifi. Even if you canceled the wifi contract before the next billing cycle.I would not recommend this place to anyone.
The residents are the best neighbors you can possibly have around, very kind and long-standing community. The property and amenities are also very well kept. Props to Joseph, Veronica, Cordelia, and Kristen for always looking out for us and making sure we are taken care of!! Will be renewing my lease!
The staff is so nice and amazing, Jasmine really helped out and always found a way to help you and settle down. The complex is so quiet and peaceful. The apartment is very spacious and beautiful, my partner and our doggies really enjoy the bigger space for our home.
I recently moved into Reserve at Canyon Creek, and I couldn’t be happier! The location is perfect—peaceful, with beautiful scenery, yet close to everything I need. The apartment is spacious, modern, and already feels like home. Jaden was incredibly helpful during the move-in process, making everything smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Reserve at Canyon Creek to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained place to live!
This is my favorite apartment complex I’ve lived in thus far. The management team is friendly and quick to address any concerns or maintenance requests. I absolutely love the amenities and feel so at home.
My partner and I recently just moved in with our dogs and we are so happy we did all thanks to our amazing leasing agent Jasmine. She made our move in process as smooth as can be and was so understanding and attentive when addressing our questions and concerns. My dogs love the dog park here where they can roam without their leashes and still be close to home.
We’ve been living here for a month and it’s a dream come true. Jasmine helped us through our process and although there were some bumps, she always made sure to let us know this is the place to be! I’m not going to lie I was a bit skeptical at first from reading previous reviews, but with this new management team they have they’re rock solid! Super attentive people and you can tell by the welcoming vibes that they care!! We also wanted to give a shout-out to Joseph, Kayla, (once again) Jasmine, and just everybody who has helped us since we’ve moved here. Y’all make this place home not only for us, but for our fur babies as well!! If you’re looking for a place to live this is it!- Lucia and Ivan
We had a pleasant experience with a maintenance worker Russel we had some things that needed fixing, and he came and fixed it all, he was very Nice and understanding, he did not give us the run around like we had before he was truly happy to help and we are thankful for it!
Reserve at Canyon Creek is a beautiful peaceful environment with a professional staff. The property manager Veronica and sales team Hailey and Katie took care of everything! definitely recommend!
I recently applied to the Reserve at Canyon Creek and I was denied due to supposedly have no rental history, which just isnt true. Ive rented several apartments over the years. When I explained that, I was told because I have rented anything in the past 12 months it wouldnt make a difference, which again makes no sense. I offered to get a guarantor and I was again told it wouldnt make a difference. That makes no sense at all. They dont seem to know what a guarantor is here, which is sad. I even offered to pay a risk fee and I was told it wouldnt make a difference. I have NEVER heard of any of this in my life. Im 34 years old and Ive been renting since I was 20 years old. I have never in life heard anything like this. Also, Jazmine called me telling me she can get me approved smh.A guarantor is a person who promises to pay a borrowers debt if the borrower defaults on their loan. Guarantors pledge their own assets as collateral against the loan. The term guarantor is often used interchangeably with the term surety. Here are some other meanings of the word guarantor:Someone who verifies the identity of an individual attempting to land a job or secure a passportSomeone who makes certain that something happens or that something is protectedSomeone who formally accepts responsibility for you or for something that belongs to youWhen choosing a guarantor, lenders want to know if the guarantor can afford to pay back the loan if the borrower cant. Some lenders prefer guarantors who are homeowners with full-time jobs.Update: just spoke to the property manager. And they DO NOT work with everyone. Its was a culmination of things Thats what a guarantor is for! Ive rented apartments before with a record and bad credit WITH a guarantor and STILL got approved. Again, that is the purpose of a guarantor! Jazmine told me to apply allow alone and wed add a guarantor later if needed. You didnt even allow me to add a guarantor. Furthermore, I emailed you before I applied and Jazmine told me you work with everyone. The way I see it, yall scammed me for that admin fee.BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS ESPECIALLY IF YOURE MILITARY. RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Just moved in and had an excellent experience at this apartment complex so far. The units are well-maintained, spacious, and have modern amenities that make living here very comfortable. The gym and pool are good on our family’s must have list. The community is friendly, and the location is convenient, with easy access to shopping and dining. I also want to give a special shoutout to Jaden who helped us secure our apartment. Jaden was incredibly helpful, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. He made finding and moving into our new home stress-free. I highly recommend both this apartment complex and Jaden for anyone looking for a great place to live. We are excited to be here for a year. We hope everything will continue to be amazing and an enjoyable experience for us. Our place is full of boxes for now but here is the floor plan. :)
Jasmine was so helpful to me and my partner. She was so understanding with our fur baby a lot of places don’t. We can’t wait to live here.
Wish I could leave 0 stars. Ive had a leak in my apartment since I moved in on 05/31/23. Current date is 08/30/24. They wont let me terminate my lease even after multiple service requests and nothing being done to repair it. Only thing that has been done is the maintenance crew leaving me a trash can to catch the water.Im paying 2500$ a month for luxury with a trash can to catch water from a leak in the middle of my living room. Ive cited their own lease agreement to them and they still try to go around it to not help me. Sadly I had to renew my lease because I didnt have any money to leave. Wouldve rather taken out a loan and moved far away but here I am, still stuck in this lease agreement trying my hardest to get out.As soon as I tell them Im turning in my letter of termination, they tell me theres an inspector coming. Inspector came and confirmed the leak. They went outside and I havent heard another word about it.Not that it matters but Im also a 100% disabled veteran so if youre looking for a place to stay this is not it. They do not care about you they care about your wallet!Again, its been over a year and 3 months with a leak in my roof and no repairs even attempted to be made. About a week ago, after I told them I was sending my letter of termination, thats when they called me over the phone to tell me they had an inspector coming out. This place is a joke.Even made an appearance at the office to get a better understanding as to why they are not helping me and the first thing that was said was there isnt anything in my lease about a termination and when I tried to show her where it stated it she wouldnt take her hand off the page so I could turn the paper over and show her then I was told that apparently the old management got fired and they didnt even know about my issue... so the termination doesnt apply to me bc they didnt know....thats what I was told anyways....
My brother and I had just finished driving from Oregon, an hour before we reached San Antonio, we got a phone call from a rental apartment that we were in contact with for over a month before moving down here had everything set up and they called and told us that they could no longer rent to us, due to miscommunication on there end.. we had a uhaul trailer with a deadline to drop back off.. we had to think quick, we found Reserve at Canyon Creek.. went into the office frantically trying to figure out a solution, Told our Story to Joseph and right away he told us he as a place just right for us. We checked out the apartment and everything looked perfect, everything was clean ready for move in and everything and more that we were looking for. Filled out paperwork right away, and within 24 hrs! Joseph was handing us keys to our new apartment! Not in any of my time of renting have I ever had this top tier of hospitality! Not to mention that everyone that we spoke to inside the office was very nice and personable. I could go on and on about everything that is great here, honestly you just got to experience it for yourself! Joseph is king! 1000/10 would recommend! Thank you for the greatest welcome to San Antonio my brother and I could have asked for!
I do not see why this complex is rated four stars. I moved from a one-star complex down the street that had fewer complications and issues. Let me start with context since this will explain the condition of the apartment. I was supposed to move in on a Monday, I get a call at 4:00 PM that Friday before stating my apartment was not ready for move-in. Mind you I had already taken off work and made moving arrangements. That was not enough time for a proper notice so the complex had the guys stay late to continue working on our apartment which we appreciate. Let me provide a list of all that happened within the first month.1.Toilets do not completely flush. Takes several flushes2. We do not have a deadbolt. There obviously was a deadbolt before because it is cheaply covered with a metal panel3. After using the blinds once, the opener stick came off since it was held together with duct tape.4.Three of my lightbulbs do not even work upon moving in5. Opening my closet door once caused the door knob to fall completely off6. Half of the electrical outlets do not work7. The fan wobbles as if its going to come crashing down8. The sink would flood my kitchen9. Our gate openers that we paid for do not work10. We have a skylight shower apparently because everytime the upstairs neighbors shower it leaks heavily from our shower light11. When we were walking our apartment there were paint residue splatters on our floor and we were told a month ago someone would come to clean it. We dont want to scratch the floors so it is still there. In full transparency, the apartment was not ready for move in and I am so disappointed. I was leaving my one-star complex in hopes of an easier living condition but that is not the case. Thankfully the complex is great about emergency maintenance and responding but the fact that these issues are here are concerning.
DO NOT LIVE HERESomehow their bad reviews keep getting taken down but this was a terrible experience. Our dryer has been broken for a MONTH with multiple maintenance requests filed and supposedly “filled” with no solution to the problem. They have refused to take off our dryer fee for the month even though we have been without a dryer for the whole month. We were told multiple different dates and times they would be coming to fix this issue. At around 5 PM those days we had to call just to find out they aren’t coming that day. we were told they would come at 7 AM today but when called at 5 PM we were told they weren’t sure if anyone was home so they were waiting on us to confirm they could go in without us home. We gave permission. Then were called back at 5:30 to tell us it actually won’t be happening because they needed a key from us that no one had communicated they needed to complete this task.We pay 50$ a month for valet trash that has not ONCE in our 2 years of living here EVER picked up our trash — because we are right next to the dumpster. We were also told it was a “non-optional” fee that we could not be removed despite never receiving those services. We received 3 garage clickers and 3 mail keys at move in (we have 3 residents) only one of each worked. We reached out for months about both issues which finally led to them replacing everything and rekeying the mailbox. The kicker? Still only one of each worked. After months of “resolving” this issue.Maintenance not only takes a while to answer requests, but sometimes won’t answer them at all! There have been multiple things that only have gotten fixed because during our re-signing once a year we bring up all the things that never got fixed despite multiple requests. When they do fix your things - the way you know it’s fixed is because of the HUGE mess they will leave every time. The first time our dryer was “fixed” all the lint and gunk that was pulled from inside the machine was left on our floor and on top of our dryer.Terrible experience and I cannot wait until my lease is up. I attached the NUMEROUS maintenance messages regarding this dryer issue.
There a scam my boyfriend was first time buyer and they took advantage of him leaving him with broken lease and 2,000 short that he worked really hard for . People were dumb ass hell didnt know what they were doing especially Jaden he dont do his job correctly or knowledge facts correctly .rude and unprofessional they kept asking for more and more money . I recommend you dont move to this apartments
Worst Apartment Complex Ever....When we first moved in it smelt horrible. Like they cleaned with sewage water. Ive seen the cleaning crew MOP doors with black dirty water as well. When I first moved in there were blank box mounts EVERYWHERE in random places on the wall on the ceiling. It was obvious they were trying to hide holes.. Who ever did the patch work as well did terrible. They put band aids over big problems. Every time I wash dishes it stains the walls with water marks meaning they use cheap quality paint. Also, upon moving in NOTHING was connected the washer was not connected, the dryer was not connected, the fridge was not connected and the ice maker in the fridge does not even work. We also did not have hot water and showered in freezing cold water for a month before maintenance came to fix it.Our first month living there my AC broke and they gave me a portable one for my room and they fixed the ac fairly quickly however maintenance dropped the water in the AC all over my bed, mattress, furniture. He did not even mention it until I was ready for bed and saw water all over my window and basically laid down in a bed that was just all wet. Not to mention he TOOK the window screen with him from when they first installed it which is something small but you will lose your deposit over it.OUR BATHTUBBBBB. You can clearly tell they PAINTED over the bathtub and the more you shower the more it peels. At one point there was just a bubble of water under the paint in the bathtub.NOT TO MENTION THE MOLDDDDDDD. THERE IS MOLDDDDDD AROUND THE AC VENTS. Its so bad to the point the air vent itself was coming OFF the wall. When you do a tour with them they will obviously show you the nicest apartments they have and continue to mention that everything is upgraded and remodeled which they did do upgrades but the upgrades were not done correctly. When we first moved in the remodeled floor was already peeling.Management also enters my apartment with no heads up and just puts a sign at the door saying they walked in. My girlfriend and I were at work and just saw the sign at the door. We checked our emails and checked to see if we had any missed calls and we didnt. From there were were paranoid about whether they were just entering throughout the day so we got a ring camera. We wanted to live in a gated community for security and safety but how are we supposed to feel that when management itself just walks in.Also, for 2 months the gates were broken and remained opened which again what is the point of living in a gated community if its just opened all the time and for another 3 months the code to the side doors for people who like to walk around the apartment complex was broken too meaning anyone could walk in.We have also complained about parking because sometimes there would be no parking spaces because it would be filllllled with people who dont live in the complex and we had to drive 35 min to my mother in laws house just to have a place to park and when we called to mention it they told us if we could just park in front of the office.. which again is not the point when one is trying to live in a gated community not to mention the people who love to tire pop and do break ins. There cockroaches everywhere outside and I am a clean person who maintained a really clean apartment and STILL had seen cockroaches inside. The AC filter as well was dirty dirty dirty like my goodness I have never seen anything so bad in my life. This is our first apartment ever and we were not aware that management supplies air filters so we went out to buy the most expensive one because we never wanted that to happen again. We did ourselves a favor and bought a GOOD QUALITY filter.Side Note: Dont expect to feel clean when you shower or eat off good clean dishes because the hard water in this apartment complex is actually crazy. I hand wash my dishes and hand dry them and my dishes still turn white.... ive bought different brands of cups different types of cup and just handing a white glass cup to a guest is just so embarrassing.
Lipstick on a pig. Advertised as a luxury complex and is anything but. My car and mailbox were broken into. Months later, and still no cameras in phase 2. Several neighbors vehicles have also been broken into. My AC has not worked properly for over 6 months. They provided window units which destroyed my utility bill. The floors/ceilings are paper thin. I could hear individual footsteps from upstairs. The large package lockers havent worked for about 2 years despite several promises to fix them. Property management has been a nightmare to deal with. Despite all this, they would not let me out of my lease. I moved out with months remaining on my lease because I couldnt stand it any longer. They wont work with me at all. Lawyer time, I guess.
Jaden Secrest helped me find the most perfect home. I had to pay a little extra for the pet fee but it was worth it. If you’re looking to find a nice cozy home… Jaden is the person to see! I seriously recommend this apartment complex!
Really loved the apartments, there was so much to see and figure out about this area. We really liked the pool and how well this place was taken care of. We also loved our agent Jaden, he did such a great job explaining everything to us and is just a genuine person. We will most likely be purchasing because of our experience!
I’ve been living here for 3 years and since new management took over this place has been trash. I was waiting till I moved to leave a review but our AC went out yesterday and NO ONE has contacted us back about it. The high was 100° yesterday so you can only imagine how hot it is now. I’m leaving this review in hopes that SOMEONE will contact me as it seems they only care about their reviews. I NEED EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE and no one answers the office phone and their “emergency line” doesn’t even ring. They’ve been renovating the whole exterior making it almost impossible to park. They leave huge dumpsters laying around where people need to park. This is absolutely ridiculous and I cannot wait until I move out of here. Do not move here!
Living at Reserve at Canyon Creek has been fantastic, thanks in large part to Jazmine. She made my move-in smooth and has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure any issues are handled quickly and professionally. Jazmine’s dedication and proactive communication make the complex feel like a real community. Highly recommend living here, especially with support from someone as caring and responsive as Jazmine!
I absolutely LOVE these apartments. There are so many floor plans to choose from with gorgeous views, upscale amenities, and meticulously maintained grounds! The dog park, attached parking garages and private backyards are truly unique. However, what makes these apartments the best in San Antonio are the people that manage it. Kristin, Chris, Cassie. Jose, David, and Isaac provide the elevated quality of life through their unmatched world class service!!! I absolutely adore them all and appreciate how they always go above and beyond for their tenants. I never want to leave!!!
Love living at The Reserve at Canyon Creek! The apartments are modern and well-kept, the staff is friendly, and the location is perfect—quiet but close to everything. Highly recommend!
I been living here for a year and honestly is been amazing I really like ! I love they have 24hr gym !!!
DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. At first glance this place seems as its luxury its not. Management is by far the worst Ive ever seen. Ive lived here 8 weeks and have been living in a trashy apartment, ac doesnt cool, matienance is never available to complete any work orders, theres no grounds keepers available to clean up. In 8 weeks Ive only had a working master toilet for one week! My toilet over flowed after many calls and work orders to fix and no one came to help clean up water, repair toilet or help fix damage the over flow caused to my property. My last work order has been waiting 15 days , ridiculous. Emergency matienance is never available either. Theres window units in apts , this is supposed to be luxury. Why is there window units, since i have moved in these have been here. Management has every excuse to not send matienance in a timely manner. Theres roaches and neighbors are filthy. No one throws their trash in a trash bin instead piles it in front of trash can and property does nothing about it despite the many calls. Recycle cans have been full for 8 weeks and over flowing. I regret moving into this place and hope to save anyone else from having to deal with this horror.
I generally dont write any reviews. I lived 5 places in past 7 years but this is my second review regarding apartments as I cant stop writing such a nice review based on my experience. I moved this apartment 2 weeks ago from San Marcos, TX. This apartment is an absolute gem, nestled in the heart of the city, downtown nearby, lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The open-concept living area is flooded with natural light, and the kitchen is really nice. The bedroom offers a tranquil escape with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service provided by all staffs, particularly Joseph, who went above and beyond in assisting with the lease, setting up the apartment. All staffs here are really nice and take all maintenance orders seriously and get done before expected time. The building is secure and well-maintained, thanks to the dedication of all the staff members. this apartment offers an unbeatable combination of location, luxury, and outstanding service. I cant recommend it enough for an unforgettable experience!
This apartment complex is BEAUTIFUL! I stopped by the office to check out the complex and the staff was super nice and resourceful. Thanks!
Man oh man, when I tell you that these apartments are top notch and the man who helped me too, Jaden Secrest I think was his name. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole process and just made me feel welcome. I will definitely be recommending this amazing location to my friends and family!!
Visiting a friend and they are very nice. Tree shade, clean complex, roomy apartment. No rug is awesome for people who have allergies. Wash and dryer came with apartment and gated complex . Nice
I had the pleasure of touring these apartments with a friend. The staff is very professional, courteous and friendly. The apartments are spacious, beautiful and very well kept. This is definitely a place I can call home for myself .
Jazmine is the sweetest caring person truly help me, my wife and kids feel at home and give us the kitchen we didnt think we could have till we built out house.
Not worth the effort. Been at this complex since 2016. Previous ownership and management (Michelson) was quick to address tenant concerns. There used to be a maintenance staff that, at the very least, had a rudimentary knowledge of building maintenance. The new ownership and management (Connor) does not care or even attempt to address tenant concerns. I have complained to the management about toxic black mold that has consistently developed inside and around the ducts (test results paid for by me confirm this) to which management has done nothing. It’s at the point I must pay for a hotel as my wife cannot live in that apartment.
I had a terrible experience living here. Maintenance requests would go unattended to for months. The apartment was old and falling apart in various ways. Multiple mail room/car break-ins, and packages stolen. Also, cockroaches were a regular thing.
Awful place with extremely deceitful employees and business tactics. The five star reviews are fake. The employees (who have the place terribly mismanaged) get their family and friends to write five star reviews. Go to Facebook or Reddit if you want the real reviews.
Jazmine was phenomenal! Helped us find our new home in such a short time span and was very professional. Happy to have this community as my new home for the next year!
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Jazmine as my apartment agent, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the experience! From the very beginning, Jazmine was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and went above and beyond to find the perfect apartment that met all my needs.Jazmines great attitude and positive energy made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. She was always available to answer my questions and provided valuable insights that made my decision-making much easier. Her dedication and commitment to her clients are truly commendable. If youre looking for an apartment and want a stress-free, enjoyable experience, I highly recommend working with Jazmine. She is a true gem!
I worked with Joseph from start to finish getting into the Reserve and it was an amazing experience. Joseph went out of his way to look out for me. Im disabled and walk with a cane. I needed a first floor - he went above & beyond to find one for me when I needed it. At every turn he was there to answer questions, provide support, and go the extra mile to get me into a great apartment. The Reserve is quiet, green, beautiful, and the folks here keep to themselves. I could not be happier, and Joseph was a huge part in facilitating this whole smooth process for me. I have genuinely never had someone in a leasing office care so much about what happens to me within the community, and in general. Ask for Joseph - you wont be disappointed!
Kristen has been wonderful to work with since day one. I moved from FL to TX and she remained in contact with me the entire time. Once I got here she was very welcoming and get me situated with my place right away. Excited to begin my stay
My partner and I just moved to San Antonio and are so happy with our experience thus far! I waited a couple of months before leaving my review to make sure that everything stayed great and I’m happy to say we love it! Customer service has stayed just as amazing as it was from the beginning until now which is really shocking because at past complexes that had always been an issue. Kristen and Joseph keep me up to date if I ever call about anything and it’s really nice to know that we have amazing management who doesn’t just over promise and under deliver.
I moved in to these apartments on Feb 1st and I have loved everything here so far! I’m currently living with my boyfriend and our dog and she absolutely loves it! There is so much space for her to take walks and a lot of shops and businesses nearby that are in walking distance. Joseph helped us so much when we were moving here from a different state! We were so worried about seeing the apartment before moving in and he helped us so much! We scheduled a walk through and he showed my boyfriend around. One thing that made us pick here was they were the only apartments that reached back out to us! We traveled here and Joseph greeted us so kindly after a really long drive. When we first moved here our AC didn’t work but we put in a maintenance request and they swiftly had solutions! They didn’t have the part needed but they gave us a window ac unit until the next day! (it worked wonders) Then it was fixed! Our balcony door was a little wonky and would only lock if you put it a certain way (we are on the third floor) it wasn’t a big problem but they fixed it for us anyway! All the people that live here are so sweet and take the effort to get to know you. My dog Wyllow has made a friend at the dog park that is built here! The dog park is her favorite spot! I occasionally go to the gym as well but it doesn’t seem like a lot of people go there very often because i’ve seen some cobwebs. It would be lovely if it was cleaned more often as I want to go there more! Every time I go, there is music playing, and whoever is on song duty has some really good taste! Our unit is on the third floor and has treated us so well so far. Other than the cardio that is needed to get up the stairs I have no complaints LOL. It’s very good exercise! All our kitchen appliances are in such good shape and we use them well. One thing I love is that I can’t even hear our neighbors conversations LOL, it was a problem at our old place and was really annoying so it nice to have some space between the walls! The only thing we really hear is when cars love to speed down the road (we are directly by the road). HEB is a 5 min drive and saves us so much time from getting to the grocery store and back. I haven’t tried the pool yet but I definitely plan on it once they are done fixing and cleaning it up for summer! I would definitely recommend these apartments to someone moving to San Antonio and thank you Joseph to treating us kindly!
Veronica was very helpful and gave me a great experience. My first impression of the property was clean and well kept the staff was kind and welcoming.
I have lived here for a while now and couldnt imagine living anywhere else. The amenities are fantastic, the grounds are always beautiful and it is close to everything. The staff here is absolutely amazing. The new manager Cassi will clearly step out of her way to make sure that everything is perfect for your life here. I would recommend living here to anyone
I just recently moved into the complex, and was immediately greeted with kindness. I was fortunate enough to work with Joseph, and he was simply AMAZING!! From taking a tour of the floor plan I wanted, traveling to get here, and signing the lease, Joseph was there for me every step of the way. I’m very happy with the care I was given, and I hope anyone who plans to move here feels the same!!😁
Jas was the best first impression for the apartment complex. Shes extremely warm, welcoming, and patient. She went above and beyond for me in every way conceivable. From holding the exact unit I wanted till I was ready to move in to keeping in constant communication with me even after moving in. Jas was very compassionate with me and made me feel like wed known each other for years. As long as youre in Jas hands, look no further for a seamless experience and a great place to live.
Let me begin with some background information. I originated from Houston, TX, and decided to move here with my girlfriend in pursuit of a better life and to escape the less desirable aspects of Houston. Although I have affection for my hometown, I knew it was time to move on. Unfortunately, we were initially told that our new place would not have carpet, but upon moving in, we discovered they had misled us. This was disheartening, as I preferred a non-carpeted spaceMoving on to the next concern, when we arrived, there was bird droppings scattered around the premises. While I understand that birds are beyond their control, I believe the management should have arranged for regular cleanups. It took a whole month of complaining before they finally addressed the issue.Another problem is the lack of proper landscape maintenance, resulting in dog excrement left unattended. Ideally, the staff should arrange for weekly cleanups, but it seems some residents are also to blame for neglecting to pick up after their pets. To their credit, the apartment complex does provide designated areas for waste disposal, but both the staff and residents need to take responsibility.Additionally, the response time for maintenance requests is quite lengthy. I filed a work order shortly after moving in, but it took nearly two months for them to attend to it. I understand there might have been an influx of issues, but hiring additional staff could have expedited the process and eased the burden on the current maintenance team.On a positive note, the maintenance staff, comprising two hardworking individuals, deserves praise for their dedication, respect, and kindness. They deserve a perfect 10/10 for their efforts. However, what truly frustrated me was the handling of the plug issue in our apartment. Although I had listed it in my work order, it remained unfixed, despite multiple calls to the front office over a two-month period. When I followed up with them, they claimed ignorance of the matter, putting the blame on miscommunication between the office and the handyman. This mismanagement reflects poorly on the front office, not the diligent handyman. As of now, I rate this place with one star. However, I am open to revising my rating if the situation improves. If they address the mentioned issues and implement necessary changes, my opinion may change. For now, though, its a one-star experience.
Joseph, women want him and men fear him, he benches 220 and smells like lavender, i also heard he once saved a little girl from a bear, and has his own collection of exotic hummingbirds.Real talk he found me and my future wife a perfect home and made it so we felt confident leaving our current place, we really appreciate him!
Signed lease on 04/04. AC went out 2 days later. Got a window unit & they fixed the AC in about 3 days. Then, 2 days later water flooded my ceiling, kitchen, dining & living room. They came immediately & stopped the water leak between my floor & the one above me. Ice maker has not worked yet, found out it’s the wrong one for my fridge & the correct one has been on back order since move-in. Went out of town for 2 weeks & after 34 calls finally got the repairs done. JOKE! Came home to a bigger mess than when the water leaked. White dust everywhere! Ceiling fans, furniture, floor! You can see mold & bubbles on the wall where they painted over. Maintenance guy has his hands tied. The office manager, Kristin, said “spray killz in the holes you cut out, tape, float & paint the rest”. So…now living with mold & Sheetrock dust everywhere. Still living out of boxes other than my partially ruined furniture!!
Read the real reviews (on Facebook/Yelp/Reddit) from people who actually live(d) here not paid bots or people who ONLY went in for a tour. There has been 4 different management/leasing agent teams since May 2021. Their favorite excuse for an inconsistent management team is that the property is a training property. If it is, that should be stated online so future tenants will know that there will always be changes and inconsistencies up front.DO NOT be tricked by the upgraded unit you are showed during your tour. EVERY unit in this complex looks completely different. Each unit is half upgraded or not upgraded at all. Seems as if the budget was used to fix the outside appearance of the apartments, instead of the actual units. They added LUXURY to the name and there is NOTHING luxury about these apartments, except installing EV chargers that no one ever uses. There is 1 maitenance guy (it was Daniel, now its Hollice)for the entire complex (yes, both sides), and has been this way for over 2 years. It takes FOREVER for maitenance to come, and their favorite excuse is he should be coming by the end of the day hes currently dealing with emergency work orders.I had the same list of work orders for 2 years that FINALLY all got fixed March 2024. The second bathroom shower is back to how it was 3 weeks ago.An in person emergency work order was put in on April 23rd by my husband. Kristen called me and said Hollis would be there on April 24th, which would have been perfect since I was off of work that day. He did not show up, we rescheduled for April 29th between 9 am - 11 am. My husband canceled his day and waited from 9 am - 245 pm for maitenance. He eventually showed up at 250 pm after my husband had been waiting all day and was now gone to pick our kids up from school. The work order was not placed online like previous ones because it needed IMMEDIATE attention and you now have to check a box stating theyre allowed in your unit with or without you present. After dealing with thiefs of this company from the past, no one is allowed in our unit unattended. The shower constantly runs and blows steam when turned off even with the shower head tighten super tight, the pipe in the shower leaks, causing unwanted yellow stains. The ceiling is super moist and now MOLD is growing in the ceiling. Kristen was informed on April 23rd of the mold. The other leasing agent who does a lot of tours as well as Kristen were both informed again of the mold on April 29th, and stated that the maitenance was taking care of emergency work orders, as if mold is not an emergency and he should have come last week on April 24th like he was supposed to. Its weird and sketchy that they only want to send maitenance to your unit when you arent available to be there. The complex is extremely old and falling apart. The tubs are not leveled so the water will not fully drain out. The floors and ceilings creek and make noises as if someone dropped a marble or basketball and just let it bounce continuously. There is also a $250+ monthly charge for cable/water/amenities/valet trash. Mail room and mail boxes are constantly being broken into and theres no security. The pool is cool, but has been closed majority of the summer (especially holidays) for the past 2 years. Hopefully, since thats one of their major selling points it actually stays clean (not green) and filled up this summer. The gym is beyond basic for this to be a luxury property. The lights outside by the garages and car ports will go out and remain unfixed for months making it super unsafe for women.Everyone around me has moved out due to poor/inconsistent management and maitenance. Instead of false advertising with all of these tours every day, hire a maitenance team and actually fix the property.Everyone is all smiles and full of excuses. Save your money and go somewhere else PLEASE!!!!
Dont move in here, its overpriced for the quality that you get. This is part of the luxury your paying for... going on 2 weeks same leak problem. This is the 3rd time Ive had a leek and it takes them weeks to fix the running water. I had to call the city to come get it fixed. In the 2 years that Ive lived here the filter has only been changed once. Ive been Here for 2 years already. RESPONSE: Why would I call when For a paying customer Ive been called bitcxx and crazy by Joseph and then Kristen was so ok with threatening me infront of other people just for trying to get running leaks fixed. Yea not worth it. Wait till running leaks become super inconvenient and it takes them weeks to fix RUNNING LEAKS. This is the type of service I pay for.... WOW!!! And then they want to lie and say I turned them away. LolIT is so freaking sad that Kristen cant talk to you with respect and thats the property manager. Atleast the maintenance people are respectful.
Just moved in and not the best first impression..I got a tour of a one bedroom a month ago, and it seemed fine. One of the nice ladies at the front giving me the tour told me my apartment would be exactly like this one just flipped. Well today was my move in day, and it was definitely not what was promised. I had to continuously reach out over the last month to try and see my apartment before move in and also find out when I could move in, I was never notified of a time until I asked a few days before, etc; I never got a tour of my actual apartment until I moved in today. The original beautiful grey floors that were shown to me a month ago (which I had been expecting because I was told it would be exactly the same) were instead an unappealing red/brown wood. Not modern or “luxury” looking at all. On top of that, all of the cabinets are an ugly white and so run down. Nothing about my apartment is modern at all aside from the appliances thankfully! Not only that but the apartment was so dirty, I had to deep clean everything before setting any of my things down..after being told a cleaning team was hired, on top of everything the AC was not working for hours so my family and I were suffering in this Texas heat. You’d think they would check to make sure everything is working beforehand! A bit disappointed considering this place claims to be a luxury complex and modern. I see pictures of others posting their apartments on their reviews here..I guess I was unlucky enough to get the run down one.I will say that the people running the front desk are very kind. And the apartment layout is very nice and spacious. So there’s that. Hopefully I can make the place more modern and luxurious looking with my own decor.
Kristen is amazing handled my move professionally. Shanon the maintenance guy was there for my needs with my apartment and fixed everything quickly and professionally. The entire team is awesome 🤩. Everyone gets 5 stars 🌟 for making my transition as smoothly as possible! Great job 👏 guys.
Maintenance at this complex is quick to respond. I want to give a big appreciation to Andrea. She has not been long in maintenance, but she works hard at her job keeping the apartment complex maintained and assisting the tenants when they need help. She truly loves her profession and I am so excited she has joined your team. She has a lot of potential to grow with this apartment complex. She is Awesome!
As a new resident, I am over the moon with my new apartment. There is so much space, the layout is incredibly pleasing along with the fixtures/upkeep of the unit I am in. Even the movers were impressed. Gigi was wonderful to work with and I cannot recommend him enough! Outstanding customer service. He even kept snacks for when the kids visit the office. As a single mom of two- its great to know what a wonderful, safe, community and welcoming staff they have.
I have lived at Reserve at Canyon Creek going on three years now. Kayla and the office staff have always answered my maintenance requests in a reasonable amount of time. The location is great and super quiet. They even upgraded my appliances when i resigned a few months back. I have truly enjoyed my time living here!
My girl Jazmine always makes sure me and my girlfriend are taken care of!! Everytime I tell Ms. jazmine about anything going on she gets it done
I recently placed a work order for my garage not opening and the team got it resolved same day! Going on 2 years living here and always impressed with the maintenance team and office staff.Kayla did my lease resigning and was so sweet.Excited to be staying another year!
We found the Reserve in a Google search from the other side of the world. We learned we were relocating to San Antonio and needed to find a place to set up our new home.We loved the simplicity of looking at the floor plans online and found exactly what we needed. We reached out to the Reserve through email and started the process of applying and securing our new home.We were able to apply, sign all the paperwork and make all of our deposits and payments easily and stress-free.Joseph has been our point of contact through the entire process and has been amazing to work with. While on Guam, he showed us our apartment on zoom, not a model, but OURS, which was great. Now we are here and met Joseph face-to-face and we love him! He showed us our new place again and has been so accommodating. My hubs needs an ADA commode and theyre totally going to install the one we bought today.Yes, its an apartment and no apartment is perfect, but the reserve at canyon Creek is pretty amazing.
I went and toured the property today it’s very nice and suitable. I can’t wait for my lease to be up so I can move in. The area is quiet and the leasing agent was awesome. She was very thorough and informative of everything the apartment has and availability. Thank you Cassi your a rockstar.
Jazmine was so sweet when I was searching for a new apartment. I had so many questions on the amenities, prices, and room availability but she was so helpful! I’m way more at ease knowing she made my apartment hunting a breeze.
These apartments are dusty and have a weird old smell. Leasing office, buildings etc., all are old. Pool is in a very bad shape with lot of debris. It clearly shows the lack of maintenance. The unit I toured was smelly, mold in the bath tub. They are charging a pretty expensive rent for the condition of their property. There is a mandatory charge of almost $250 for internet, cable, water/sewage, pest & amenities. Still no signs of proper maintenance.
Jazmine is amazing, she answered all my questions and got back to me quickly. Highly recommend going to her!
Did a walk through with Cassi and she did an amazing job, asked all the questions, showed us everything we needed to see, and let us take our time. She did excellent with the follow up and making sure if we had any questions she could help.
The customer service at Reserve at Canyon Creek is incredible! The entire team was so helpful and kind during our search for a new home. Christy was so patient with me, taking the time to answer all of my questions and making suggestions, truly going above and beyond.Their quick responsiveness, professionalism and overall kindness was a breath of fresh air and what you want living in a community like this. I highly recommend The Reserve at Canyon Creek. You will not be disappointed!
This management company has the honest, low ratings removed and employs their friends and family to fake 5 star reviews. Pest control is non existent, maintenance requests take half a year to be cleared, and management is clearly trying to hide all of this. Disgusting.
Read through reviews! They are clearly bought, 5 stars either about the walk through, tour and helping in apartment search? What does it even mean? You should be ashamed misleading people with these bought comments. They would be real if you would put the same effort into making the place nice, instead of buying 5 starts.
Hello My name is Tracy Maier and I have been living at Reserve at Canyon Creek almost a month now. From the first time meeting the staff I got A plus service. I especially want to give kudos to Jasmine which helped me out so much from the beginning to until I got my apartment. The first time that we met, she had this lovely smile eager to help she was the one who show me the apartment and she sold me on it. I’m so glad that I had her to help me out when I was filling out the application by answering all the questions that I had. I would tell anyone who wants to see an apartment ask for Jasmine. Now let me say something about the maintenance person David well I needed a ice tray in my refrigerator to be hooked up and I had let the office know that I need to put this into order and I did, within maybe three days I had my ice tray hooked up. I came home and there was David behind the refrigerator, hooking it up while my dog was just barking at him. I have a little schnauzer all bark no bite and David was in there doing his work not worrying about the dog barking now my dog know who David. I am so happy that I chose Reserve at Canyon Creek for my home. I feel safe and it’s quiet just the way I like it. Thank you again Reserve at Canyon Creek.
To start, I appreciate the great customer service provided by Kayla from the moment I walked in until the minute I walked out. I visited Canyon Creek to see if I could find an apartment for my sister who lives in another state and wants to live on this side of town. I wasnt expecting to go out and see an apartment at that particular visit, but it was possible. Kayla was such a kind approachable professional describing and providing information about the apartments and apartment complex. The conversations Kayla and I had about the rent, pest control, amenities, and what to expect from the maintenance crew put my mind at ease. This place and with professionalism from Kayla, I plan on revisiting when my lease at a different apartment complex is about to expire. A++ for Kayla.
Update: 1/13/2023:Happy that I am out of this place. Moved out in October 2022 and still (after 3 months) I did not receive my deposit money back. Called and emailed them multiple times, no response. So, I visited the office and they dont know what happened or when will I get my money back. From my recent experience, nothing changed still feels like its the worst place and management.October 2021:Based on my recent experience Do not trust these people. I have moved with family from almost 1300 miles away last week (October 2021). I did submit all the documents, paid the fee and signed the lease online one month ago (September 2021). On the move-in day, when I came to collect the keys they said that apartment (the one I have signed lease agreement with them) is not available and offered a bigger apartment for same rent. I was shocked and never had such experience before, I didnt know that signed lease agreement can be changed without even asking the parties who signed it. I came with family including two little kids to a new state and had no other option than taking the one they have offered in the very last moment. I have done all the paper works with earlier address I had signed and forwarded all communications to the address they had provided earlier. Dont know how many documents I have missed, including medical reports from my previous location.Post move:Even after a week, the apartment is still not in good condition. Still there are many maintenance work to complete. I was specifically looking for apartment with washer and dryer. The new apartment did not have washers and dryers, they said it will be fixed on the next day after move-in and I have paid the washer and dryer rental also. Even after a week, I did not receive them. As per the management, its delivered to a wrong address (very good management) and cant be taken out once its fixed. They dont even know when I can get one for my apartment. My suggestion to anyone looking to move here, visit the unit offered and verify everything before signing the leas and get the keys on the same day. Everything will be beautiful and excellent over phone/email. The reality will be different, if you are lucky you will get a good apartment.
I got a package stolen from my door in broad daylight. Management refuses to hire full time security despite the fact that this isnt the first time incidents like these happen.Update: I spoke to Veronica on the phone. After a thorough conversation, I concluded that she and the management team have identified the issues and are setting the appropriate measures in place. I am updating my rating because I could tell Veronica is being diligent with her efforts to keep this community safe and presentable - I have noticed they have been investing in the upkeeping of the buildings, which is nice.
Joseph was the best!! Helped my brother and i out at our time of need, and went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed and have a place we call home! Thank you so much Joseph and the reserve at canyon creek!
I visited the apartments earlier this week, and met with Kayla. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She was very easy to speak to and made me feel at home the moment I stepped in. The community is well maintained and has lovely floor plans.
My pup and I love living at The Reserve at Canyon Creek! Were going on our second year living here and we could not be happier. We have never had problems with our neighbors or the employees at the leasing office. The Leasing office is always so helpful and responsive! Maintenance is well managed and is very efficient. This time around, I was having trouble relocating to another apartment complex and the leasing office was super understanding and helped me extend my lease without any trouble. The parking lot and pet park are always nice and neat, same does for the gym. The gym is so great, I havent even bothered signing up at a local gym.
Maintenance at this complex is quick to respond. I want to give a big appreciation to Issac. He works hard at the job keeping the apartment complex maintained and assisting the tenants when they need help. He has a lot of potential to grow with this apartment complex. He is awesome and so professional. Thank you.
I came by around October because my lease was ending and checked out the area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful over the phone, but Gabie took care of me and helped me throughout the whole leasing process. She was on time with everything and responsive when I’d call and had questions. During the walk through she made sure to give me time to check out everything, to make sure everything was good, which it was. I never felt rushed at any point of the process. 10/10 experience, the complex itself is peaceful and nice, for a good price.
After my 1 star review under old management, this complex is now being managed by an amazing team.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼Under previous management, my work orders had been left on the back burner for over a year.New management sent David (almost immediately) to address my issues, and to make desperately needed repairs.David was very knowledgeable and completed all repairs in under 30 minutes. He did a great job, and provided quality service with a smile. 🙂I’ve spoken to Veronica, the new manager by phone and in person. She and her team have truly been a blessing to the residents of this complex. They seem to be, all about providing excellent customer service, which had been nonexistent till now.Our prayers have been answered and the nightmares are over.Kudos to everyone involved in making this place finally feel like home!I have changed my review to 5 Stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was having a hard time looking for a place on such short notice after moving here for new job until I found this complex. Once I walked in I was greeted by Kayla and she could tell I was over all the interviews or something cus she knew right away I was over all the interviews. She listened to everything I was looking for and lead me to exactly what I had in mind. Really, the entire staff was tentative to my needs and I couldn’t be happier as a resident. Even now, the maintenance responds quick, and they’re friendly! That was the “I made the right choice,” for me.
I walked in for a tour and felt welcomed right away! I highly recommend if you’re considering these apartments, ask for Jazmine. She is great, energetic and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you are well taken care of. She is willing to work with whatever, to make sure that you find the right home.
Toured with my girlfriend yesterday and we love the complex. Amanda and Gaby in the office were very kind and understanding to our situation and showed us exactly what we wanted. This property is well managed and the property manager was on board to help us find the best apartment.I never leave reviews but these ladies made a lasting impression and deserve the praise.Thank you, Amanda, Gaby, Danielle and Talia.
Ive lived here for two years and renewing my lease for the third. I can honestly say this has been the best apartment complex I’ve lived in. It’s in a great location, being so close to 1604 and I-10 you can pretty much get anywhere in San Antonio fairly quick. The grounds are very clean and they really keep up with the pool and gym, making it easy and fun to actually use the facilities. The community is peaceful, safe and the residents are friendly and considerate. I’ve never had or heard of any security issues here. The apartment I live in is spacious and has a great layout which gives it a “homey” feeling that you don’t usually get in apartments.Although all of that is great, what I like most is the staff. The staff here has been pretty much the same since I moved in, which shows how committed they are in what they do. The maintenance staff is great and has fixed any issues Ive had in a timely manner, if it’s an emergency they get to it right away 24/7. I’ve had particular personal situations while I’ve lived here and the office staff have been impressively accommodating. They’ve really gone above and beyond to make sure they could meet our needs and we’re happy with our living situation. I am extremely grateful to Milly, Jayne, Karla and the rest of the staff. Living here has truly been an experience that I will never forget. You get 10 stars from me any day of the week and twice on Sundays! Thanks Reserve at Canyon Creek!
What can I say. This place is truly amazing. Been in other apartments but this one feels like home. Quiet, clean, friendly. Since I’ve been here almost a year they upgraded everything inside and out. They gave us new appliances. Maintenance is super quick and super nice. The staff inside starting with Dannielle are amazing. Super nice and want us to always be happy. Everyone inside always has a smile inside and greets with happiness. Place truly feels like home. Anyone who is looking for a home, look no further. Thank you Reserve at Canyon Creek for always making this place feel like home!
I have been living here for almost a week. This is an amazing living experience. The apartment is extremely nice and has all new appliances. The complex is active but overall very quiet. Lots of dog owners walking their cute fur babies. I also have an amazing view of the complexes beautiful pool.Gabie and Danielle have been amazing through my move in process. James in maintenance is awesome and friendly.
I’ve lived here with my partner for 3 years and every year gets better. My apartment has updates and the best balcony that I’ve had at an apartment complex. The community is quiet and clean. We have been VERY happy with the updates that Connor Group did over the last year. Dannielle in the office is amazing at her job and very relatable and kind. Reserve at Canyon Creek is a lovely community.
I was very happy with the service I received from Amber at the leasing office.. me and my wife felt felt so good with the service received when we had our appointment. The application process was easy and Amber explained everything.. I highly recommend to go for the 3 Bedroom apartment.. it has 2 car garage and the apartment is beautiful.. this place makes you feel like home 🙂I like the bundle package they offer for Internet and cable and the dog park is a pretty good size..
Ive been at The Reserve for a month now and am pleased with my choice to rent here! Eden has done a wonderful job helping me get everything squared away, and making sure Im settling in! Thank you!
The apartment was wonderful and clean. It is very spacious with lots of windows for natural light to come in. The location is the best, you can get to downtown in 10-15 minutes and its about a mile from I -10. The price is great for what you get and the best part about the complex is the management. Jayne is the manager there and she is absolutely the best, they should give her a raise and make sure to keep her there. Her leadership is reflected through the office team and maintenance crew, who are all outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, we lived there for 1.5 years and loved it, great community.
I have had A/C problems for the past year off and on and Im at my wits end. I live on the third floor of my apartment complex and is has been no cooler than 85 degrees for last 2 weeks and still has is not been fixed. Ive been told time and time again that this issue will be resolved soon and yet nothing has happened. Ive been nothing but respectful and patient for over a year with regards to my ac but enough is enough. they have raised my rent about 15% since I have moved in during 2022 and still cant manage to resolve this issue. Although the staff in the front office is welcoming and kind. the sub-par management has driven me to exhaustion. Coming home from work to relax only to be met with and hot apartment that I dont even want to be in is unexpectable and infuriating.
My girlfriend and I initially were going to live here in a 2 bed 2 bath, but unfortunately the apartment wasn’t going to be ready in time for our move in date, and for other reasons, we were no longer able to afford other 2 bed 2 bath apartments there. Because this complex is a sister complex to Boulder Creek Apartments across the street, Karla and Courtney were able to find us a new apartment to live in, that was ready for us to move into before our move out date.Although not a lot of complexes are sister complexes, what these ladies did for my girlfriend and I was incredible! I’ve never had such patient, sweet, understanding and compassionate people help me find a more than decent place to live. We are so grateful for everything they’ve done, from having such a warm welcome when we first toured, to offering a discount because of my employment, to helping us and Boulder Creek find us a new home. And of course, all the floor plans are so spacious and gorgeous. The amenities that are offered are amazing. Anyone looking to live here would be content and happy with not just living here, but the whole process as well.I will send everyone in the management team good wishes and possibly a little present for their good hard work and being amazing people.
Marisa, Chris and Amber helped us so much. Their office answers the phone, their pools are clean, the staff are VERY understanding and there’s an adorable pup named Oliver at the leasing office.Pretty affordable, rooms have plenty of space and they’ll work with you on whatever preferences you may have. Whether we can move in or not, definitely a place I’d recommend to fellow apartment hunters.
I have been apartment hunting for about three months now for my elderly parents. We have met a lot of leasing agents, some that we liked some that we didn’t, but wow, Amber at the reserve at Canyon Creek was by far the best. She was very informative and has a great personality that makes you want to live there just because you know she would take care of any problems that you have, she was priced a little out of my parents price range but I wish they could’ve moved there because I would’ve felt great about Amber supporting them !
Mr. Godley; My family and I have lived here for a few years now. Great Management,Mrs.Veronica and her staff here does a wonderful job of taking care of the property and seeing that repairs etc, are done in a timely manner. The team here are very personable and will work with you to make you feel comfortable here. Quite living!
Living at Reserve at Canyon Creek since 2017, we’ve seen it all it feels like. Renewal after renewal, cost increases every single year! For the past 2 years the cost increases have been extremely unfair as service has been atrocious by the Connor Group. They spent many months being understaffed and not able to provide simple maintenance support. Can’t imagine if I needed major maintenance support. It’s been like a revolving door of staff since they bought this property, front office and maintenance. We ultimately like the geographical location of this complex as it makes sense for our jobs and current lifestyle, so we always fight the cost increase in efforts to stay. We just renewed again, our 3rd time signing since Connor Group took over this property. Last term was a short term lease (6mo.) so they could earn our business as we were at our breaking point up against a $400/mo. increase after a year of unacceptable customer service (Hello, SERVICE is why you rent). It’s almost unaffordable to be renters anywhere at this point, and moving costs are steep. During this renewal, we were met with grace and understanding by Joseph. He’s a tenured Connor Group staff member, relocated here in San Antonio to revamp Reserve at Canyon Creek. They could only offer us a 12mo. lease as they are working to stabilize the property. Respectable, the property definitely needs some stabilization. We signed this lease as another act of faith with the Connor Group. Hopeful that Veronica and Joseph can do what it takes to bring this property back to a “luxury” community!! He and Veronica seem committed to turning this property around, which is refreshing after the turmoil this property has been through since post-COVID. Joseph was transparent with us when discussing the renewal terms and allowed us a moment alone to discuss in private. We made some requests that Joseph promised to follow up on, and followed through on within the same business day. Joseph surpassed the customer service experience we had anticipated to receive during this renewal, providing timeliness, patience, reasonability, and taking accountability. The Connor Group met us half-way this time, and Joseph acknowledged that baby steps would be the way forward from here. David is also well worth mentioning as he is on their maintenance team and has excellent workmanship and takes pride in what he does. He took care of numerous work orders for us and went above and beyond when on-site performing the repairs. He makes a great difference on the property! -A
Love all the staff at Reserve at Canyon Creek! They are always friendly with answering phone calls, taking maintenance requests, and going above and beyond with anything residents need or want. The apartment itself is spacious and feels like a home. I have a two bed 2 bath with attached garage, and I feel like I am in a little house rather than apartment. I am off the green belt of the complex and on the first floor so I do have issues with critters, but they are really on it and keep up with pest control as long as you schedule it. Also considering it is first floor, I feel like my balcony has the best view!
I moved in with the old management, they were amazing. I could get any issue solved immediately, including maintenance. Now the office staff doesnt reply to emails or just says theyll tell the manager your issue and will not get back to you. Maintenance is slow or never comes. Im not blaming maintenance directly, but its ridiculous I have to wait months for an issue to be resolved. This new company has made the most questionable decisions with changes to the complex, mostly for the worst. Ugly building colors, forced cable packages, redoing all the pavement, ripping garbage dumpsters doors, constantly open gates, etc. Theyre also stopped doing pest control which is now a big issue, I keep getting fully grown roaches through the AC vents. Also it doesnt feel as quiet or safe anymore living here. I dont know why but I smell weed and hear new loud neighbors all the time. Also my husband came home one day to find three cops circling the complex telling my husband to go inside because they got a call about a guy with a firearm. This management company seems to think upgrading this complex will draw people in and make them happy, but we would rather have good customer service. Once my lease is up, Im out.
As residents of these apartments for 15 years we would likely recommend the maintenance crew and property manager for jobs well done. The maintenance crew consisting of James, Jacob, Tyler, Moises, Rudy, and Harli for the many things they have done for us, even from moving mattresss for us when they did not have to. They even are gonna move furniture for us to replace all the carpeting since we do not have anyone to help tha lives close by or family to do so. We appreciate all that management (Danielle) and maintenance has done for us to take care of everything that we have needed. We love the new paint job done for the outside of the buildings and the new flower beds and plants. We are looking forward to many more happy years with this group that works here.
Jasmine was extremely helpful and answered all the questions we had. She was thorough and I felt that she wanted to provide the best quality of customer service possible. It made the experience less awkward and I felt I could be open with her. 10/10 would recommend!
I just got approved for my new apartment. Kayla in the office was so helpful and made the whole process so simple. Such a quiet community and a great group of people. I am really excited to move in next month!
Moving cities and I’m so sad about leaving. You’re so well taken care of here and it feels like home. I’m going to miss it here so much!
I have recently moved into Reserve at Canyon Creek and the new manager and staff are great. They have made sure to respond to all of my needs to help me get settled and have showed me, as a new apartment dweller, much patience. There may have been some challenges with the past owners and management but this team has stepped up to the plate!
I don’t have anything bad to say! Such a great place to live and the maintenance people were always on top of it. They were always polite and got all my stuff fixed quickly and with no fuss! I would recommend to anyone to live here.
I want to give Marina a quick shout out for the excellent service in repairing my sink and my toilet issue. She was very friendly and took my concerns seriously. She made sure that everything was done and that I was satisfied. She even asked if there was anything else she could take care of while she was there. I’m happy to know the maintenance department has a wonderful employee who not only will get the job done but makes sure the tenant had all concerns taken care of before leaving. Thank Marina Salazar!!
This property is in a great location, and the new paint job looks pretty. I met the new manager, Veronica, she is really nice and made me feel comfortable along with her entire staff, everyone is so friendly. I have enjoyed my experience here very much.
Been living here for a few months now, and all the staff has been very helpful with everything so far! Maintenance has always been able to fix issues quickly, and the office staff is very friendly, and always answers our questions and helps us out however we need! Would 100% recommend ANYONE in the market for a new place to try and live here at the Reserves at Canyon Creek!
Very great costumer service! My family and I went looking for a new apartment with only 3 weeks left to be moved in so it was definitely a little stressful and overwhelming. But with the help of Garrett he made the stress all go away! He sat down with us and went over everything we wanted in a new future place. He connected with us and went above and beyond to really make sure we felt valued as a future resident. He then showed us the floor plan and was just as excited as we were with the fact that we were able to check everything off our checklist that we could of possibly asked for and more! His enthusiasm and overall customer service was 100% the best we’ve had by far!! Thank you Garrett for all the help you did for us!!
Muriel warmly welcomed me upon entering the community and introduced me to the units with amenities offered. She was very informative and responsive to all of my questions. She also provided a good sense of the community experience and thorough coverage of the rental process. Definitely gave me a great first impression!
Ive been here four months now and am really happy with everything. The staff is the best Ive ever interacted with and Ive lived in many apartments. The maintenance staff is also really good. Work orders are typically done within 24hrs. The location is really good, close to many food, shopping, and work locations and feels safe. Ive come home at all hours and never felt worried. The only downside, which is pretty normal in San Antonio, is limited parking. If you come home after 7/8pm it can be difficult to find a parking spot.
The new management team of Veronica and Garret are really doing great work now specially for maintenance. My water heater tank had busted on Sunday and it’s flooded everywhere in my room . But really thanks to our maintenance crew members Terry and David they came to my place though it was Sunday and work constantly three days to get the problem resolved . They completely cleaned my home and dried up every thing and brought a new water heater tank within a day to regulated the hot water supply . This wasn’t an easy task.Thank you and cheers 🥂 to you guys.
Ive been here several months now and I would say Kristen and her team are doing a great job. She is always doing everything she can to help out when its needed. I cant ask for anymore than that. I would totally recommend this community and if youre looking for a new place reach out to Kristen, Joseph, or Kayla. They are fantastic and will help you out.
I worked with Joseph and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had when apartment searching. I would recommend requesting him when coming to view the apartments or any questions you might have. He was such a fantastic person to get to know with such amazing hospitality!
Going with 2 stars, I lived here for a year. The people above me had dogs they just freely let them bark on the balcony this was very annoying if you have big dogs you shouldnt have them in an apartment and apartments shouldnt allow it but thats just me. Hate it or love it. I had to call property management to get them to shut their dogs up which also failed. The excuse oh dogs bark yeah to a degree dogs do bark but your leaving them on the balcony to bark at other dogs and people. My apartment was super clean but bugs from outside would definitely find there way in 100% because sealing the door was terrible I had to reseal the front door and put down diatomaceous out by the doors and sliding door to stop them from coming in. It worked for a bit had to redo it every couple of weeks because they felt like blowing the dead bugs and alive bugs away from the door for about 15 mins and when you work at home this is annoying but hey Im cant do it on a Saturday or something.Getting something fixed smh. First I gave them written notice that didnt work then I tried it again 2nd written notice. Still nothing, then new management came in I dont remember his name but he was a d-bag, I moved into a house from this place and this new guy guessing upper management like welllll you might want to extend your lease because buying a house take a long time. NO it does not. If you dont have your stuff together maybe but trying to give me your one up selling to extend my lease EVEN after you cant fix the simple things that you are supposed to do like, change out the battery for smoke detector that beeped for 7 months. 7 months of beeping 3 written letters. I know maintenance is terrible but didnt know anyone up front couldnt read either to at least call and say hey we got the written letter that dropped off we will assist you eventually. The parking has gotten way way worse they dont monitor cars even though they say they do. If it has a flat yes they will tow it but if you invite all your friends over and take up all the parking nobody cares. They dont watch nothing. I definitely wouldnt stay here again seeing as I have left already. The apartment is clean but its your job to keep it clean. The bugs are everywhere all outside waiting to come in. Knock knock , management cant read, maintenance cant fix anything, barley any parking left. The price is ridiculous you can literally go 3 streets over and find cheaper. Just because its gated you think you feel safer. Just means takes the ambulance longer to help you. Forcing someone to pay 100$ for internet and tv is trash and the speeds arent even that good but that was on the bottom of the list of concerns. So instead of finding a place that I could call home I avoided my apartment like the plague thanks management. Just an update. They beg for 5 star reviews like no other because they know there is so many 1 star reviews they just cover it up by fake people.
My wife and I made an online appointment to view a 2bed/2bath. As soon as we walked in, the ladies who were there looked at us as if we were from a 3rd world country. Excuse me that sometimes people like to be comfortable and wear casual clothing when going out. Not everyone shops and wears their outfits from The Rim shopping center every day. One of them, whos name Ill withhold for reasons, spoke loudly and over-enunciated her words, as if I had never spoken English a day in my life. Once I spoke clear and perfect English, her tone changed immediately. The individual who showed us the property was obviously less than enthusiastic about sharing the features of the property and seemed annoyed with us asking questions. If their goal was to prevent us from wanting to apply to be residents, mission accomplished. Ive never been treated with such disrespect and vulgar attitude in my life. I was born and raised in this country, as was my wife and both our parents. These people they have on staff at this place are by far the worst sort of all of humanity. Ill sleep in my hybrid SUV every night before I ever sleep under a roof at this property.
14 SEP 20: Lived here 2 1/2 years. Work on Lackland with a 20 min drive there and back. The office staff is so far above Par its incredible. The maintenance staff is knowledgeable and fast. The comfort of having a solid support system has bee. The only reason I have stayed a renter. The tenants in building three have been great neighbors and are pleasant to live with. 100% recommended.
Gigi was so wonderful!! From the moment we interacted on the phone, to the ending process, Gigi reassured me that I would be able to get in. That meant so much to me! The last 5 years have been rough. I had to bury both my parents in a span of 5 years, not to mention picking up the pieces of where I left off back in 2015, in my first failed attempt to call San Antonio my home. But one thing about me is that I dont quit!! And Gigi fought for me! I cant think of any property who would go to great lengths to make sure I get accepted! And mind you, we never met face to face!! But you could tell there were good vibes between us. I felt more confident this time around. I can finally say with extreme confidence that my second chapter in San Antonio, will be so much better and memorable! Stay tuned...Only the beginning...
I have lived at Reserve for over 3 years. It is a beautiful community and great location. The townhomes are huge! The new managers Veronica Katie have been extremely helpful, professional and friendly. They quickly addressed any issues that I’ve in the past . This new team is awesome!
Joseph was very detailed while we were applying, the apartment was beautiful and he made everything feel very natural and comfortable.
I absolutely love living here! I have been a resident here for five months now (EDIT: I lived there for three years total, through the end of my degree and still loves living there the whole time. The only reason I moved was because I was moving cities.)Unlike any other community I have lived in, the maintenance requests are so timely and the office staff is so nice and communicative. It has never taken longer than two days to fulfill any request, most of them are handled on the same day. They always tell you way in advance when they come in to update a fixture or change out your air filter. The apartments are beautiful, tasteful. The property is nice, safe; I love to take walks and visit the grassy picnic areas and the little forest, drainage canal in the middle of the complex. This is a huge apartment for the price. The balcony looks out at all the natural trees on the property. My apartment is filled with beautiful sunlight in the day. There is space for my washer dryer and some apartments have garages. It is pet friendly, my cat loves it here too!I love the fitness center and the business center with free computers and printing. The pool is pretty too and has free wifi. There are many AWESOME resident events that they host around the year with free food and prizes. The only thing I would wish for more is that it had a hot tub.Overall, amazing place, really
Gabby was super nice to us. We came in for an apartment and toured around the place. She asked us a multitude of questions and made sure to pick out the right apartment for us. Although the price was a bit higher than we anticipated but when we were filling out our application she told us the rent went down which quelled any fears. By far the best experience I’ve had apartment hunting hands down. Thank you Gabby.
These were one of the best apartments I have ever lived in. The people at the rental office are friendly and polite. The maintenance team was responsive and efficient. The location was perfect for my commute. Unit layout is very impressive. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a peaceful, hassle free living experience at an affordable cost. I am going to miss this place a lot.
Beautiful place, my hubby and I lived there for two years. We loved the layout and floor plan of our 2 bed/2 bath apartment, it definitely had that at home feel, very comfortable. The ladies in the office were always very nice and seemed very organized. Some complaints I had was with the maintenance. We had several small issues over the course of two years and they were never fixed right the first time, we always had to call back a second and even third time before it was fixed. And even then we had an issue or two that was never fixed correctly, I just got tired of calling in work orders. I was also disappointed that we didnt have brand new carpet upon moving in. The carpet we had was a little dingy from the previous tenants. Considering the amount we paid to live there it would have been nice to have brand new carpets. And after living there awhile I saw people moving out an the maintenance would always have new carpet in the back of the truck to get it ready for the new tenants but didnt happen for us. And the mosquitoes were horrendous! Because there is a creek every time it would rain there would be standing water in certain areas of the property so it basically became breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Bug spray was a must anytime we went outside during the hot and warm months (which was everyday cause we had a dog that needed to be walked) also made the dog park less pleasant. And last but not least our last year of living there we unfortunately had some new upstairs neighbors that were really loud and inconsiderate, constantly stomping, and moving things around all day/night long! We complained to the office and all they could do was knock on their door and tell them to please keep it down and of course that didnt work. So after almost a year of dealing with that and the maintenance issues we decided to move out. However for the most part it was a pleasant living experience. Nice pool, nice fitness room, and we did enjoy the social activities and gatherings the office would have throughout the year. For us it was a great short term place.
Stay away!!!! Worst apartments!!!! I moved here in feb 2022 and ever since i moved in laundry machines are not working properly. I gave multiple complaints but it has not been fixed yet. They told me i can start lease with 6 months lease and can extend every 6 months but at the end of first lease they said they cannot provide 6 months lease anymore and they raised the amount for one bed apartment from 1100 to 1300 without informing me. When I questioned about this they simply say that it was previous management and its changed now. Also the apartment is not secured. My cousin so resides in one of other buildings got his car stolen at this apartment.
Jasmine was very helpful and kind throughout the process of obtaining our house.i felt like I was in good hands through the whole process.
I moved here 3 years ago and everything started off fine.when it would rainthere will be a leak in the ceiling by the dinning areaI reported several times and they will send maintenance to dry and paint the areait kept happening and I kept complaining for the weeks now and also because black mold has grown into the affected areas and causing health concern for my son and i.they responded *,with do whatever it is you need to do* instead of offering a solutionthat would be to offer me anotherunit or come to another compromise.this is unprofessional and blatantly unjust for this to be disregarded.worse management in this 3 years by far...
Chanel was absolutely amazing. She was very informative and made sure our needs were met. We were able to see an amazing apartment while we are apartments hunting for our future home. Definitely on the top of our list. The pool was amazing the club house and amenities. Definitely recommending Chanel for anyone’s future tour!!!
Recently moved into this property and couldn’t have done it without Joseph’s help. Joseph is easy to talk to and he went above and beyond on move in day. He walked us to our apartment, and assisted us with our walkthrough and took notes of what we needed. The first week after we moved in, both Joseph and Veronica checked in on us frequently. I have never had this level of assistance from a property before and I am so grateful we have had a pleasant experience so far.Thank you!!!
A couple weeks ago, on a Sunday eve, messaged for maintenance. I promptly received a call back from David. He came over immediately and was very thorough in checking out the problem. David was well-spoken, polite, and extremely well-versed and knowledgeable in the problem. He immediately resolved a problem. Such a relief to me. I have never met a maintenance man so astute and efficient. I was just so impressed. He has great interpersonal skills and empathy. The Conner Group have definitely got one of a kind…in David.Thank you, David. It was so nice to meet such a competent individual. Best wishes in your future endeavors. I wish you a successful career.
Amanda, Danielle, and Jake have been so wonderful!! Amanda in particular, has been amazing and has gone out of her way to help make sure any concerns were addressed. She really is the kindest leasing agent I have ever worked with. The entire office team is caring, attentive, and helpful!! Thank you Danielle and team RCC!!!
I have lived here for over 2.5 years now, with my wife.We are both in healthcare and have lived in different apartment complexes for the past 12 years. Here are the reasons that I would highly recommend for anyone who is considering these apartments to actually move here or at least come check it out:1. There was a change in management in May of 2020, and as everyone thought, with that change, things started changing around here. To me they all have been in a positive way. They didnt happen overnight, and considering all the shortages in staffing everywhere, I would say they did a great job pulling this off in less than 9 months. Examples:A) Repaving the entire facility in only 2 weeks. (Many neighbors were unhappy since they had to move their cars around a couple of times! But the results were outstanding and everyone has enjoyed it)B) Redoing a big portion of the Yard and the Gym.C) Painting every building and hallways (much needed)D) Overcame the obstacles that came along with growing pains by bringing in a professional management team from one of their more established facilities from a different cities.E) Installing Electric Vehicle charging stations throughout the facilityF) Increased the safety of the place through fixing the gates and hiring a security patrol company(we did experience some breaking into neighbors cars in thepast)G) Redoing the dog park! Now it is actually looking great and clean!2. The management in the office has gone above and beyond to address any issues that have come up and I personally have had experiences that I needed something to be addressed a couple of hours after the normal business hours and I found Daniella (the property manager) in the office working! and she personally saw the issue through and resolved it.3. Increase in rent, has been 12% in 3 years. I think that is very fair considering what is going on in any market4. The quality of build, is actually impressive! Like many places, they dont have paper thin walls. If you have lived in apartments you know what I mean!5. They have an Application in place for maintenance request and payments. Also you can drop by the office or just call in. Depending on how busy your day is, you will have a way to communicate. Also, you have a few days grace period to pay your rent! Unlike some places that are strict about your payment day, otherwise they charge u all these fees!We all need to remember that, at the end of the day, things may break around the apartment or a neighbor may park in your spot or a million other things that may or may not happen; having a management team that is readily available to help with issues as quick as possible is a great thing. All it takes is a healthy and respectful communication and giving them a chance to resolve the issue!I hope you all find this helpful and Thank you all for your patience!
We moved from Iowa to this place in Late march. The apartment is too small for the rent money we pay. Maintainence Service is relatively slow to respond, expect a week if it is not emergency situation. Also, resident billing system was not explained clearly before we signed the contract , only to find that TV cable service is mandatory. Also, they force to pay internet through resident billing system at much higher price than the market value. These factors added substantial sum on top of the rent , don’t get simply fooled by the rent amount they say.
I gave Jazmine a 5 star review because she asked me too. She was helping my daughter get into an apartment, my daughter told her upfront what her situation was and told her that they would do anything to help her get I to this unit. I was very happy how much they cared and would assist her in this process. That was not the case, wry unprofessional staff, daughter has been calling for days to find out what the status was. Jazmine never returned a call and left her on blank. Someone else called her and told her that she couldn’t get the place, no reason just that they couldn’t help her. ??? You promise her the unit at assure her that with a co-signer she will have it. You guys took her money and made her believe she will have this unit. This office is very unprofessional in many ways. I will not suggest this place for a home. I’ve been reading reviews and reviews are meant for the customer to do on their own free will. Jazmine I’m very disappointed in how you handle her application, I truly believed you cared to help my daughter but I see it’s all about getting a 5 star review for to look good/promotion. Don’t promise anyone anything, misleading to get someone to sign and get a review. Not ok, disappointed mother who is looking for a peaceful place for her daughter and two kids. Definitely this place.
I dont usually write reviews, however I feel people should be warned! I have lived here going on four years. The apartments are very nice,as long as no repairs in are needed. The person above me runs a workshop at all hours of the day and night! I signed anew lease, being told he would be made to stop.Nothing has been done about this! My air conditioner has been out for 3 to 4 weeks Ive been told theyll be fixed several times nobody has showed up to fix it! The ladies in the office are the rudest people I ever have had the unpleasure of dealing with.! As soon as soon as my lease is up I will be moving! I have lived in many apartments and have never seen such poorly managed property. Many residents that lived here for a long time, moved. One older couple who were very quiet and nice,I never heard them say a bad word about anyone told me that could not stand the women in the office so they moved!Move in at your own risk, but check the in reviews, the honest ones are the negative ones!
Reserve at Canyon Creek has the best amenities! All updated pool, dog park and fitness center. The workers here are happy energetic and most of all helpful! Most people only leave reviews when they are mad — remember that. Myself and a lot of our neighbors are very happy here and have little to no issues! Tour the complex and check it out yourself!
Joseph helped me find the perfect spot!! He is very good to work with, and answers all questions you might have!
I love my apartment, Joseph and Vanessa went above and beyond when I moved in. And recently I lost my keys and they were quick to get me back into my apartment. Joseph is amazing to work with! Would highly recommend.
Jazmine has the best customer service. She has been so helpful throughout the whole leasing experience. Above and beyond. So happy to live here.
My husband and I went to go look at an apartment here, and although we didnt go through with renting here, the staff was very helpful. Amanda did a great job explaining all the important details, and she went above and beyond to do what she could to help us. Im not sure how it feels to live at these apartments, but it certainly did feel nice to feel as valued and cared for as Amanda helped us feel!
Where do I start, even though I decided to go with another property my experience with Amber was a breath of fresh air. Her customer service exceeded everywhere else I’d been. She was not only attentive, she treated me with compassion and I truly appreciated that. Thank you Amber for showing there are still compassionate people in this sometimes cruel world. God Bless you!
Toured today and Jen had my boyfriend and I beaming with joy. She sat us down and continued to ask us what WE want in our home. It truly felt like she was trying to customize an apartment for us! Never had such an amazing time/connection at an apartment complex before. Once we went on our tour, everything I had requested was in that unit. Our experience was so amazing we applied right then and there. Can’t wait to call this place home soon!!
We moved in mid October 2019 we did our research on various apartment complexes and this was rated high. We are finally moved and we love it here. The apartment complex staff make you feel your home. They are so warm friendly and very personable. They coordinate small monthly gathers such like this evening The Roarding Twenties and it was great, small appetizers and goodies to eat, drinks such as wine, beer, soft drinks and water. You truly feel you are at home. Just Love It here.
AVOID THE NEW MANAGEMENT AT ALL COST!I was a recent resident that moved out March 2022. The old management was FANTASTIC. I can not speak highly enough of them. They currently reside at Boulder Creek across the road. However, the apartment complex changed hands and the communication with residents and follow through of the front office is TERRIBLE! Dont even get me started on how they handled remodeling the parking lot!We also put in several maintenance requests before we left that never got filled. I was left with broken cabinets and unhinged drawers for MONTHS! Upon leaving, I instructed them to send my security deposit to my forwarding address. After several months, the check never came. Upon trying to communicate with them AND CORPORATE OFFICE as to the where about, they kept giving me the run around. They would tell me We should have someone get back to you with an answer in 48 hrs. They then also confirmed several times the address I had asked they send it to.I then had to communicate with the person they sent it to and was informed it had been cashed WITHOUT ME KNOWING. This is AFTER both the corporate office AND the front office lied to me for several months. Now I am fighting with this individual to get money that was owed to me while this ENTIRE situation could have been avoided in the first place. So again, to sum up, AVOID NEW MANAGEMENT AT ALL COST!***Follow up - contacted company using number provided. Simply stated Since the money was deposited, there is nothing we can do. I figured I would update the good people of Google Reviews to showcase the infuriating incompetence you can come to expect from these people.*****
Very nice staff, very good at sales. They will bleed you dry with inclusions that are incredibly marked up. I told them our absolutely maximum and that I was sick and didnt want to waste their time or mine. They claimed they sold the unit right before we got here. Fine, but not fine when youre charging $220 for utilities mixed in with cable that no one needs.
I honestly don’t know why the entire management and maintenance crew was changed, they were literally the best you could ask for at an apartment complex. The apartment was well kept, maintenance was terrific at getting things done. And now I’m just merely disappointed at this point. Our apartments a/c has been broken for a whole week it’s literally 80 degrees in it it feels better outside than inside… the ceiling is falling apart… the grass hasn’t been cut, the buildings aren’t cleaned anymore… instead of working on apartment issues and maintaining the serene beauty of the complex we get new renovations to the pool area that honestly could’ve waited. I’ve been living here almost two years and I’m Extremely disappointed in the corporate management for ruining such a great place to live. There’s not even an option no more to leave contact maintenance emergency!!! SMH!!!
Okay so I have been living here for about 3 months now. The apartment is nice, roomy apartments. But here is what you need to be aware of. When you visit, the leasing agent will claim that the rent is all inclusive - apartment monthly rent + washer/dryer + internet + water + trash. On paper, they will show you a figure of $1100 which will be equal to what you see on their website. You confirm, this is all inclusive right? They will say yes. But, please know you will be paying atleast ~$275 pm more on top of that. $130 pm for internet. A whooping $75 for trash (including valet) and remaining for water and sewer. Be careful when you read the lease agreement. Ironically, the recycle trash cans are almost always full since the have only 2 of them near my building. The lease will only include cost of apartment rent and additional $50 pm for washer/dryer.These additional amounts are a bit too much. Otherwise, I feel these are value for money apartments.3.5/5.
The staff here is AMAZING!!! My mom called and spoke with a girl named Amanda, crazy because thats my name also, and she was so nice and patient with my mom. When we got there to tour, Amanda greeted us and offered us coffee and hot chocolate. We sat down and waited for our tour and met Gabie, which is also crazy because thats my sister-in-laws name. Gabie is so nice, she made us feel comfortable, asked for all the details we were looking for in an apartment, and took us on our tour. Amanda, Gabie, and another girl, I didnt get her name, were very nice and went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. They even called and texted me to follow up and see how my family and I were doing. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone, the staff is AMAZING!!!
I am a current resident at reserve at canyon creek, and I cannot wait to get out. I have been here only for less than a year, and the service has been nothing but horrible. Maintenance request are never taken up. I had to call multiple times to fix a fan and the blinds, but still no one responded. They call it a luxury apartments, but apart from colorful paints on the building walls, I dont see anything that is luxury. The new management is forcing us to take internet for the cost of $100 which can be purchased at the price of $40. And the utility bill is never provided with the breakdown of what is the charge for. If I could give a 0 stars I would give it.
I recently moved out after 3 happy years at the reserve, the whole Staff is fantastic and caring they really do everything to make their residents feel comfortable and welcome!! Any maintenance problems are taken care of promptly...the Proberty as well kept and clean.. i felt safe never any problems with break ins aso... i have to give a big shout out to the Manager Jane who helped me in my Situation for a smooth move out ... i definitely miss living there !!!
Ive lived here for 4 months now and I have had absolutely no issues here. This is a first for me having lived in 4 other places in the past 4 years. Ive never wanted to re-lease with anybody until I came here! The staff are friendly (they remember your name), helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The gym is 24/7 and its really nice clean equipment. The pool is always pretty and the grounds are kept nice. Neighbors are quiet and kind. And theres a nice sized dog park where my pup can make friends!I almost dont even want to make this review because I feel like its San Antonios best kept secret.
I truly wish I had been able to move into the Reserve at Canyon Creek Apartments but was relocated for work at the last minute before my move in date. However, I can speak for the positive experience I had with the staff members and the property. The first thing I noticed was that nearly everything was either upgraded or in the process of being freshly painted to cover up the pale yellow color from when they were formerly known as the Palermo Apartments. From the second I stepped in the door, I was promptly greeted by a female staff member eager to help me find the right place. She worked with me to discuss my budget and floor plan options and I was even able to tour the very same apartment I would be placed in. The paperwork was laid out in a simple format and I applied that very same day. I had to return the following day to drop off some income paperwork and this time met one of the managers. I found him to be quite a gentleman as he was friendly and made sure to let me know they were looking forward to having me as a resident. I genuinely wish I had been able to move into these apartments as they are much more affordable than the downtown area Im relocating to and the staff made me feel like they took a vested interest in me; I was more than just another prospective resident. While I cant speak for physically residing at the Reserve at Canyon Creek, the ambiance that both the property and staff set is a true 100 and I would recommend this complex to anyone.
I had such an awful experience here; Danielle is extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. I was shown a 1 bedroom unit in building 4 that had nice wood floors, shaker style white cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and new (bright) light fixtures. They made me sign a LEASE to even apply for a unit. It would not be the unit I was shown. After I was approved I requested to see the unit I would actually be leasing and was always told a later and later date. Every time I called I was told they would get in touch with me to let me know about this pending detail or that outstanding item but I always had to call back to follow up because they never actually called me back.Feeling frustrated I came in person to see the unit 1 week before move in and was told it would not be ready to view until 2 days from then. I came 3 days later and was told it was still not ready to view. I did not get to see the unit I was leasing until the day of and it was nothing like what I had been shown. The floors were a cheaper quality, the paint job was patchy, the cabinets were crooked, the appliances and light fixtures were not as nice as the unit they had shown me, and the brand new countertop was just the old plastic one that was covered sloppily with black paint. They tried to argue with me that this unit was nicer than the other one - anyone with eyes could see that it was extremely ugly and cheaply remodeled. I dont know where they get off considering themselves LUXURY apartments. My moms unit at The Lila is much nicer and way cheaper. They charge you for everything on top of rent: technology package, valet trash, trash service, water, admin fees, and other mandatory utilities total $225 on top of base price.I did not want to argue about how unfulfilled their promises to me were and just requested to break my lease. They told me that they do not have a lease break policy and that I would need to buy out the entire lease: $16,000. I begged them to make an exception since I had not moved in yet and they refused. After I paid my contract off I followed up several times to get an official document stating that I had been released from my obligation which they dragged their feet on. It took Gaby putting pressure on Danielle to get it done and even then she just threw it at my mom and walked away. Megan is slightly more pleasant but dead in the eyes and lacking in personal skills. While within their legal right, their way or doing business is sketchy and unethical.
Good reviews are asking to be done by office while moving in so please read all reviews. I initially had a great review and changed it! Upon move in I thought this place was great but it has turned out to be a headache and money out of pocket unnecessarily. I moved in around Aug 27th and was told my apartment would have a washer and dryer. That was the main reason for moving here. The rent was higher but I was willing to accept because it came with that. I moved in and there was no washer and dryer. I was told it should arrive in a week or two. I had to call every week to check on it and was told different things each time. Now we are in October and they are just telling me they just ordered it and I need to wait 4-6 weeks. That is completely unacceptable being that they have four washers for the whole property and the laundry room is filthy! Now I am having to spend money out of pocket to wash clothes every month. You also get charges $44 for valet trash that you do not use and they do not pick up from time to time.So many little fees that your water bill adds up to about $100/month. An extra expense I told them I did not want upon move in. Then I get charged $99 for property internet that I did not sign up for. I paid it to prevent rent being late. They refunded it to the account 3 weeks after. I am very not satisfied with the outcome. They also have not fixed my dishwasher since move in and it’s been two months. I wouldn’t recommend this place moving forward. They are so focused on the outside of the property that the residents get left behind. You put in work orders and it goes unnoticed for months. There are several sprinkler leaks on the property that goes unnoticed. No pest control. Looks nice on the outside but you will pay for it later.
Huge thx to Jasmine and Christy for helping us get in here they where very personable and attentive.
I am always happy to share this property to my customers! Since being an Apartment Locator, I can surely say that my customers have everything good to say about Reserve at Canyon Creek. Their management is the greatest and always willing to work with you in any way possible. I have known Karla the assistant manager for years now and she has not lost her happy to serve attitude and smile when I bring customer in. Reserve will always be my go-to property!
Been here less than a month but usually by now youll notice if its a bad place or not. Enjoying my stay so far and Kayla is top notch in the office. Pleasant experience with her helping me get moved in
I have lived at the Reserve At Canyon Creek for about seven years. The office staff is very responsive and friendly. Also maintenance and the ground keepers are the same! They go above and beyond. There are so many floorplans to choose from and the location is great! Could not be happier and plan to continue living here for a long time to come. This is a great place to call home.
This will be my fourth year of residency here and I can safely say that it will be the last. The new ownership group from across the country has brought in a staff clearly devoid of experience and professionalism. I have no idea who the Connor Group is, but looking at the canned responses to their criticism here should give you a decent idea. The removal of their previous excellent maintenance and office staff is understandable, as they were bought out and you cant transfer staff like that. However, the new staff, lead by property manager Shakira (only heard the name over the phone, apologies for potential misspelling) provides a good example of the issues I mentioned.Just today we were given notices on our door that the parking lot was being re-asphalted over the course of the next week in three phases, and if you were parking in the phase that was being worked on (starting at 7am to 7pm) you would be towed. When I asked the property manager if they would be notifying residents when each phase was starting, she said no, that we should literally drive around the complex each day to see if each phase was done so we know if well be potentially towed before we go to work. I legitimately made her repeat this because I couldnt believe how absurd it was. She said that they simply could not notify residents when each phase was completed because they didnt have the manpower. They literally cant be bothered to send out an e-mail so you dont get towed while youre sleeping in your own home.I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere. There are so many decent complexes right in this general vicinity at similar or better price points. Not to mention the incoming external renovations thats going to make this generally nice looking complex look like a shanty town a despot painted to hide the squalor.2nd star added for the dog park renovations. Theyre a nice improvement.
I have to say that I absolutely love how thorough the maintenance team is. Thank you so much David for fixing my blown fuse during the big freeze, I appreciate the dedication, and Jazmine at the front desk is such a friendly face. Couldnt ask for better staff.
I had the please of working with Muriel who nothing short of a pleasure to work with! She provided me with very pertinent information to allow me to make an informed decision. Im in my apartment now and I couldnt be happier. The entire process was seamless from start to finish! The Staff here namely Muriel are the most professional that Ive had the pleasure to work with!!!!!
Even tho we were not able to lease a unit we do want to give Amber a shoutout! She was beyond accommodating with us. Was very helpful and was always very attentive. If i ever need to refer someone I will definitely send the to her.
Tried renting here so we wouldnt be homeless after unfortunate circumstances in our previous home, but ended up being homeless anyway because they decided 2 collections (totaling no more than $2,000) made us unreliable renters. My husband is a disabled veteran and we are on a fixed income, also have assistance through the VA to get us into a place, why does credit matter ???Gigi was a great rep to deal with in the process, but their guidelines for renting are absurd.
***LOOK AT ALL THE LATEST REVIEWS BEFORE MOVING HERE***New management has ruined these apartments. This place used to be amazing. The grounds were beautifully kept, the staff were helpful and polite, and issues were always addressed in a timely and professional manner. NOW, THINGS ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, FOR YOUR OWN SANITY DO NOT COME LIVE HERE.First off, all images you see online are now false. The apartments are being painted a tacky orange, white, blue AND green. Its hideous, and in the process of the paint job, workers are coming onto all the tenants porches and ripping them apart. All the landscaping is either being ripped up or dying. Maintenance calls are being left ignored or with inadequate results (theyve come to fix my toilet twice - third call they just gave up I guess because no one ever showed up). Staff is EXTREMELY rude, and, to top things off, this is no longer a gated community, as the gates have been broken for the past three months (by the way, when I called to complain about this, the front office employee told me that if it matters so much to me, why dont I come up with a way to fix it). I have never been treated so poorly in my life.Additionally, every month they tack on more fees under a mysterious Residential Billing Services label. In June, it was $40, July was $60, and this month its $80. Everyone here is confused and miserable with the lack of explanation. This place has gone so far downhill. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
The staff here is amazing. Specifically Eden and Cassi, they gave us all the information needed and made the applying process extremely easy for us. Very excited for our new place!
Excellent customer service! Amber really went above and beyond searching for the perfect fit for me, and although I didn’t end up choosing to live there, I am so grateful for her attention to detail and for really listening to my needs and must haves for my apartment search! I would highly recommend anyone looking for apartments in this area to look here!
Thank you to Marina Salazar at Reserve @ Canyon Creek apartments!I called to put an order in for my light bulb fixture I was having trouble with & She could not have come any quicker! She also went above and beyond to inspect my dryer I was having heating issues with. She is awesome!!
I have lived at Canyon Creek for over two years now. The front office and maintenance staff are always very friendly and helpful. I love all the events and client appreciation things that they do. The grounds are beautifully kept, I love all the large trees and green spaces - it has a very homey neighborhood feel.
This apartment used to be called Palermo. About an year ago, new management took over the apartment complex and changed its name to Reserve at Canyon Creek. At first, I didn’t understand new managements intention to change the name but now I know.Ever since the name has changed, many things have also changed here. It started with new staff including both office and maintenance; they are not only professional, but also more competent and prompt when it comes to making a maintenance request.Recently, our AC unit went out completely. My apartment was grilling at 90 degrees. While maintenance people responded to our request, they failed to diagnose properly so the AC didn’t get fixed for almost 48 hours. During this period, my family somehow slept through first night but we spent our second night at a hotel. It was dangerous, excruciating, and frustrating 48 hours. For this reason, I contacted the assistant manager Dwayne about this matter and he apologized for the inconvenience and compensated us for the hotel fee. While I was unsatisfied with how maintenance people handled the situation, I am satisfied with how Dwayne responded to my email. Also, it’s not every maintenance person that is incompetent but some of them definitely know how to make certain repairs better than others.Besides new staff, the new management renovated the main office and gym. The main office was fine before but it’s definitely nicer now with new painting and furniture. On the other hand, the gym is phenomenal with new equipment, new TVs , and free weights. I actually use this gym to work out. Aside from renovations, they built a dog park which is awesome as a dog owner. There are other things such as new paint on the apartment buildings, new windows on selective buildings, and new asphalt as the construction is going on right now.Overall, I am happy with the apartment complex. I really like what new management has done so far. I recommend Reserve at Canyon Creek apartment over other apartments on Vance Jackson road.
Danielle is the best thing that has happened to Reserve at Canyon Creek since the new management. Living here for over three and a half years, we should praise her for her effort to keep the Luxury Apartments in order. I find that the challenges she faces are overwhelming . We in this community can not lose her. I found after the new owner of this property from Ohio has taking advantage of the ones whom have lived here for years. I have lost many of my neighbors which I miss greatly. I believe, that if Danielle can get the support she needs this property will excel, however. There is a RBS company that adds extra fees which many us do not use or care for. Example, Cable? whom uses cable, many have cut the cord a long time ago, we use wifi and stream what we care for, valet garbage service which no one uses, we have three water bills, the garbage bills, and I sign on or gated community saying we have security. Not true, the new employee told it was deterrent. Just give us security, simple, Luxury Apartments My neighbors SUV had his Cadillac converter stolen in front of his apartment in this gated Luxury Gated community. I have found no propane tanks at the pool grills(three grills). Okay, Im done with my rant and issues, I have a few more, so I will spare you all. I really like this location and the few friends neighbors I still have and look forward to the new ones whom may come. SO, recap, fix maintenance, security,* people picking up pet poop(LOL, for real), Garrett (New office help, saying ,everything is a simple fix), and finally get Danielle some support! She is awesome!! We do not need to lose her!Thank you for your time,Paul
I have lived at The Reserve at Canyon Creek for about 5 years and have never had an issue with maintenance not coming or the office not answering calls. My restroom lights had been out for almost 3 weeks. During that time, I have left about 4 maintenance requests and a message; yet no one had ever came or contacted me back. It’s outrageous. They are lights! I finally had to go out of my own pocket to buy them! I’m seriously counting down the months until our least is up.
Gigi was so helpful and informative during my tour and move in. Definitely give this guy a raise of 8000%. 10/10, would recommend. Love my new apt at Reserve at Canyon Creek as a 1st time tenant
The most amazing leasing office and maintenance staff youll ever meet. The grounds of the complex are always well kept and the leasing office throws a lot of events for residents. They are quick to assist you with any issue and maintenance completes work order requests very quickly. We love it here!
The process of securing my townhome at The Reserve at Canyon Creek was a breeze. I communicated my needs with great staff in advance of my cross country move and was thrilled with the unit when I finally saw it on move in day! So happy to be here and look forward to making new memories in my new home!
Lived here for a few months now. I usually dont leave reviews but had a really great experience with Muriel. She was friendly and was quick to provide any information I was looking for. She was very patient with me, which is not something that many people are nowadays.
This could be a great place depending on your priorities.Location:The location is great. You can get almost anywhere inside of 20 minutes.Apartment:We like our apartment, especially for the price. I will say that our move in was not great. The date had been set for a while, but when we showed up there were people still painting a bathroom and the carpet cleaners wanted to *start* their carpet-cleaning duties. Apparently they were unaware of our move-in date and time until the morning of. We had movers hired, so we opted to forego the carpet cleaning in favor of honoring our appointment with our movers. We still have never had our carpets cleaned, and our apartment smelled strongly of fresh paint for the first couple of days. Besides that, its been great. Great layout, things work as they should. This is probably our favorite living space we have had.Staff:The front office staff has always been nice. However, we have experienced a breakdown of communication a handful of times (see move-in experience above). Sometimes the front office is unaware of construction outside of the complex or fire alarms being tested that still have an effect on your living in the complex. Theres not always a heads up given.Other times, we have contacted one person in the office and told something will be taken care of, only to find that the message wasnt passed on (this has happened once or twice with maintenance requests and again with a rent question). As long as you follow-up, things will happen. This break-down of communication may or may not bother potential residents.Maintenance:Generally quick and helpful. We havent waited more than a couple of days for a request to be fulfilled.Noise:General noise is minimal. Were pretty easy going people, the only time noise has bothered us is when it effects our kids. We had fire alarm testing that happened during the day, twice in the last 5 months. The first time there was a memo sent out, the second we were unaware. Not an issue if youre working since it happens during the day. I am home with little kids and thats difficult for us, especially the second time around when we didnt know that it was a test. In the middle of nap-time :)The staff does a good job of trying to involve the complex in events. However, these are quite loud for those who dont participate. The music from an event or outdoor movie is loud enough to render a sound machine not useful and prevents a nap or bedtime. We have experienced this a couple of times in the last few months with summer events outside. Theres a good sense of community here with these events. If noise is an issue for you, that might be something to consider. I will add that this may be worse for those who live close to the pool and common area. If youre further out in the complex, youre fine.Amenities:The pool is great, generally clean and well-kept. There have been a few times in the last couple of months that its been closed. Communication usually happens after the start of the closure, so some are caught unaware. There is a work-out room residents can use that I cant comment on (I havent used it) and space you can use for events in the front that is really nice. Again, Ive never used it, but it seems nice and not over-used.Final Words:With communication frustrations and the loud noises, we wont continue our stay when our contract is up. Its always a hassle to have kids in an apartment, but this has been worse than other places we have lived in that aspect. The inconveniences with our kids and communication breakdowns have been enough to outweigh the positives for us, even though this is objectively a great place. I would recommend this place to someone who is gone during the day and patient with communication and events.
Ive lived here since March of 2017, and Ive had no issues. Anytime something has popped up regarding a maintenance issue or other complaints the staff and maintenance team jump on the problem right away to make it right. I rarely wait more than 24 hours to have something fixed. The grounds are clean, the gym is clean, the pool is clean, and all very nice. I havent had any problems with noisy neighbors in my building. Parking is a little rough at night, but not a deal breaker. Compared to other apartments Ive lived in this place is Shangri-La.
I have resided here for a little over a year now, and I could not be more impressed. From the fun community activities, to the drinks and snack always being in stock. Office staff is always helpful, patient, and caring. The maintenance here has a huge sense of integrity. I see them doing acts of kindness around our community, from fixing residence plants, to putting back doormats, after a crazy thunderstorm. Everyone here looks out for one another, and it home. When I 1st moved in David personally helped me assemble a piece of furniture the moving company damaged. He turned a moving nightmare into a dream. That is how much the staff at the Reserve take care of their residence.
Amanda in the office is the sweetest! Really loved my time here so far, the staff really does care about making life on the property easier. parking is never an issue, maintenance is always fast, and staff is super friendly.
Please do not re-sign lease here. The apartment doesn’t complete maintenance orders (basic ones) in a timely fashion, the office staff do not respond to emails/text messages, pool is unkept (I’ve found broken glass on the bottom of pool floor), outside grill doesn’t have propane (expect to buy your own), grounds are not maintained well, and gates are often broken so protect your vehicles. Please be prepared to call office staff repeatedly to have maintenance issue be addressed. Also, if office staff do not understand how you’re frustrated they will hang up the phone during your conversation. Also, I had another resident ascot me while trying to walk up stairs and called SAPD. Notified office and no follow up as occurred with office staff on resident safety.
I have lived here for just over a year and I love my apartment; the layout is spacious and very comfortable. They are remodeling/upgrading the apartments and property. The location is ideal with easy access to the highway and close to downtown. The apartment staff are very professional and make every effort to make the residents feel like this is a community, not just an apartment complex. I would definitely recommend the Reserve at Canyon Creek.
I moved to Reserve at Canyon Creek about three weeks ago. The experience has been amazing so far. The apartment is great and the complex is very clean and quite. The management has been helpful, especially Gabie has been awesome and very professional.
Jasmine was so helpful and knowledgeable! She helped me out with a smile and answered all my questions. Looking forward to my new apartment 🙌
Fantastic experience. Jasmine was such a blessing! Very informative, experienced. Would definitely recommend. Super helpful and a lovely human being. Made me feel welcome and e excited. Thank you jasmine!
I lived at Reserve at Canyon Creek for two years & love the location (only takes 20 minutes to get to downtown) & love the quietness of the community. Under the new property management, Danielle has been great at answering my questions & Moises from maintenance was very helpful.
Don’t normally do reviews but here we go, it’s gonna be a lot, but so is signing a lease to live somewhere. My name is Chris and I’ve been renting an apartment for a year now (2020-2021) and I’m committed for another year. The property recently has gone through a bunch of changes from a new parking lot to an updated dog park and pool area. The buildings are currently getting painted during this review and I can honestly say it’s great color scheme. I have not asked for many maintenance issues but when I do, they have been more than reliable, professional and corrected within a reasonable amount of time. Actually, I am currently waiting for a part for my AC unit to be fixed but, in the mean time, they gave me a window unit AC to survive. And in Texas, that is much needed. Thank you James for that. (Maintenance guy and assistant are hard workers ) I run my ac alot, so it was probably normal wear on the motor. But I digress! As for the office… 5 star emphasis again. The only name I’ve asked for so far was Amanda. She’s up front and she’s amazing! Super nice and super helpful! The whole staff as well. But with every review I have to find something bad and for me it is “the valet trash and extras”, for the apartment agreement that SHOULD be optional NOT FORCED. ALTHOUGH, most apartments are doing this. I believe this does deter people at the lease agreement stage. I almost didn’t sign (I’m frugal lol) but once again it was the great service I’ve had throughout my time here. My suggestion: I would screw in sign for those who opt-in for the valet trash. And internet should be optional as well. But in the end, this has been the best apartment I’ve lived in. I’ve gone less expensive and more expensive and can say this is a happy medium. Fairly priced. Do it!Thank you Amanda, James, and staff.Hopefully, you guys see this and know that people do notice the great work y’all do.
This place has been nothing short of welcoming! The leasing office is always happy to help, Eden is always so joyful! Kristen and joseph are prompt to help whenever needed! Can’t recommend a better place to call home!!
Gigi helped me with everything and as quickly as possible. I showed up randomly on a Wednesday and moved in 2 days later thank to all the help gigi provided for me. The move in couldnt have gone any smother or quicker. It was amazing and i was able to get everything i wanted in my apartment including an attached garage. Im so glad i stopped here for info while driving down Vance jackson.
This place honestly ruined my life in many ways. This apartment complex showed us a lovely unit in the middle of March that we could move in to in early June. We signed our lease and were thrilled that our search for a home in San Antonio was over. We are a military family who was transferring from Washington state. On the late afternoon of May 30th, Memorial Day weekend, this company called to let us know they no longer had the home available that we would be moving into on June 1st!!!This left us nearly homeless!! We had literally days to find a home!!! Could they not have let us know sooner that we had no home??? They couldnt evict the previous resident out??? Why could they not warn us before hand?? Can you imagine having all that time wasted, only to be left SOL on a holiday weekend? To make it worse, we chose another THE CONNER GROUP property called CYPRESS AT STONE OAK, and this company locked us into a unit beginning on June 30th to lock in a better rate. When we arrived in San Antonio, we had to wait until June 14th to move into this unit because they were redoing the floors. When we moved in, that unit was utterly trashed and not ready for a resident at all. The flooring job we were waiting for had completed two days prior and was BOTCHED. In the same fashion as Reserve at Canyon Creek, the company could not have been bothered to LET US KNOW ahead of our WALK THROUGH that there was a problem!!!Now we are stuck for the time being in a disgusting unit. Broken windows, broken dishwasher, disgusting flooring, random spray paint everywhere, water damaged moldy cabinets.....Have they fixed anything they said they would? NOPE. Have we not had A/C for over two weeks now? YES.
