My husband and I recently moved out of this complex after living here for two years. We resided in one of the townhouses at the back. The location of the complex is prime, offering easy access to the highway and numerous stores nearby. The townhouse provided great space for us and our dog, especially with its small backyard. Additionally, our neighbors were extremely friendly. The complex is under new management, and they are doing their best to elevate the standards of the property. We particularly appreciate the assistance from the staff, especially the manager, Claudia.

Pros: very nice stackable washer and dryer included in our unitLocated close to 410 (also a con, but a pro for accessibility to stores, restaurants, highways etc)We had brand new appliances upon move-inOld tennis court area perfect for children to play/ride bikeCons: everything else. Pictures as proof.When we were applying, we were looking forward to all the promised renovations that new management would make.We moved to San Antonio a year ago and chose this complex as our home because of the pros I mentioned earlier.We’ve been here 1 year and this is what we’ve experienced:Laundry room is yuck & has animal droppings in it.Kitchen is so narrow that fridge door and dishwasher scrape on each other if you happen to have both open at once. Maybe other floor plans are different, but this is the problem of mine. The bathroom is narrow and has the same problem. Certain doors have to be closed in order for the other to open, otherwise they will collide into each other & cause damage.Hot and cold water are backwards in bathroom and kitchenNew granite counters were not sealed properly so they stain VERY easily.The gym took about 9 months to renovate and it’s literally only four pieces of equipment and only open during office hours. Disappointing after months of waiting.Litter, dog poop, and cigarettes butts everywhere. We’ve nick-named the dog park the POOP park because people just take their dogs to poop & not pick up after themselves.Landscaping efforts are nonexistent. I’m addition to poop, cups, bottles, and cigarette butts, the grass is dead and has no active sprinkler system. Our family walks through the complex leaves us feeling so grossed out.Crusty, green pools all summer (clean a total of 2 weeks the entire season). Literally a frog living in the pool.It’s veryyyy dark at night on the complex. It feels very unsafe at nightGated but does not work properlyOverflowing trash cans on a consistent basis.Rows of busted mailboxes with sensitive mail littered on the groundNo AC UPON MOVE-IN in JUNE of 2022. Was not fixed for about 10 days. Window unit was provided but maintenance did not install it— my husband did after maintenance employee admitted he didn’t know how to install the unit.No HEAT from end of October 2022-end of December 2022. Personal space heater provided… for the entire apartment. Oil space heater provided was inefficient.Maintenance takes about 2 months to “complete” request.I’ve been charged renters insurance even though I’ve provided proof of my own on two separate occasions.If you’re still reading, just continue your search. We’re looking forward to our move to another complex. The overall value and quality of these apartments is so low. I do not recommend.

I want first start off and say I absolutely love the manager Claudia. Every time I come in the office, I always feel so welcomed. Literally anytime I ask for something to get done they get it handled. I love the large floor plans here, I toured almost every floor plan and was impressed all the way around. And being located on Blanco Road is a Huge convenience.

For the year that I have lived here, I have had no complaints. Management changed hands a few months back and the new team is doing their best to fix the issues that were overlooked or left behind. I find that as long as people are making an honest effort to help fix their community, the community can make an equal effort to improve itself as well.

This complex has gone through a lot of different management companies but this last one has been by far the best. The staff is all very helpful and actually takes care of maintenance requests quicker than in the past. We are finally able to get into our pools! Ever since we moved in, we hadn’t been able to get in because they were all dirty and green. But not anymore. I decided to post a review because the past reviews definitely DO NOT reflect the current management on the property.

I have 2/12 months done w my lease & i REGRET signing this lease.literally have had my ac broken since moving in, now it’s cold & the ac breaks again. moved in sept, it’s now nov & there’s been 6 service requests.the front office wanted to attempt to speak over me & i’m not even trying to continue being ugly, putting in service requests & coming home from 12 hr shift, or school to nothing.they literally had me move in w no working kitchen sink, took a nap in 85+ in my apt then went to complain about my sink THEN they fixed it.it’s always “we’re on the way” & never on the way. they will mark the service request as complete when nothing was done.my bathroom sink is still leaking, like honestly. do not bother signing a lease here.they use the whole “oh the issue is on the roof” i don’t care. why am i paying rent for some place to live when it’s never fixed.i regret signing this lease so bad. i don’t suggest anyone move in no matter what.management blames the fact it’s new management, can’t find people to assist maintenance as if a body isn’t a body & they have options of work ethic after covid……01/28/2025;Update! Thought i could give those property group a new try since they’re NEWi am now apparently going be towed due to the fact the property manager can’t use her brain. I bought my JEEP from Southway Ford. It’s a Jeep Cherokee. I had to call SAPD to verify my license plates. Provided the office with the police report & they’re trying to give me the run around because THEY DONT UNDERSTAND the fact that the license plate frame does not mean it’s not matching.Talked to the office before work. Now I’m being told i need to call other people. Talk to the property manager or the tow. The front office lady with all the piercings was RUDE. kept talking over me, explaining she’ll give me an email when i literally have the police report, spoke to the tow company the night prior. Let’s not mention my emergency request for my rib leaking from my second floor to my first floor kitchen. It’s been 2 weeks. Nothing.These people are morons & rude. I literally did all the work for the office yet they can’t even hold up their part of their job.

First and foremost, NOT the best apartment, but it was pretty decent to stay at for my lease term. We stayed in the townhouse loft and those are on the “safer” side since it’s in the front. I hug it recommend these if you’re short on money, etc just definitely not the back. The layouts for the lofts are super unique. We didn’t mind staying there, but there were also some differences and difficulties we experienced. First and foremost, since we have been here, the management team has changed THREE TIMES. The new company, has somewhat high hopes to turn the place around, and they seem pretty determined. Next, the apartments themselves. When we moved it everything was okay. As we started staying there, we noticed how terrible they did cleaning and tidying up for the next move ins, which was us. For example, they never really cleaned, they just painted over hair, old chip paintings, etc. the counters are like sprayed on, so they would easily chip as well which was annoying because why are the counters falling apart, they should be “granite” but most definitely not. The sink, at least ours, no matter how many times we put draino, it would ALWAYS clog and come up. We didn’t know how to fix the issue, maintenance didn’t either. We’re assuming it was the pipes that were just clogged and never cleaned properly. Other than that, our inside of the apt was okay. On the other hand, the outside of the complex was meh. The pools were never cleaned, the laundry rooms were dirty as well. As the new management came, everything has been getting better as far as appearance for the complex itself. Pools are cleaned, not too sure about the laundry rooms. Other than that, I think it’s an okay apartment complex to stay at, in the LOFTS layout only. Definitely didn’t mind our stay, but did have complications that we weren’t too fond of.

They told me I couldn’t get my deposit back that they would mail it to me which takes 6 weeks !!!! If I am looking for a place how are you going to mail it to the address I provided !! It’s so irritating most apts give it back to you in 3-5 business days , one worker says something the other says another I just want my money back

We lived here for 2.5 years and it was constant frustration. Most of our time spent here all three pools and the mailboxes were out of commission. The mailboxes had been smashed in and we had to get a PO Box, because the post office would no longer hold our mail. The laundry rooms rarely worked and were often in bad condition. Dog poop everywhere! It often took 4-6 months in order to get work orders done. In our 2.5 years it changed management 6 times, so everything was blamed on the previous company, but no one ever stayed long enough to fix problems. Now that we moved out, we’ve been trying to get our security deposit back for the last month and continue to be told they will look into it, but no calls back.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!We moved here thinking it would be a good start in a new place. But we have been very disappointed. We moved into our place with many man damages to the place. Cracked walls and ceilings, floor is coming up, carpet isn’t put down right and nails are falling out of it. We had a missing door that took them forever to replace. My carpet has been held down by duct tape for almost 2 months now because they can’t replace it. Still finding staples and nails from it because they don’t make anything a priority.The pools, never opened and when they are, the residents trash it. Empty alcohol bottles and cans everywhere, broken glass, dirty plates and left over food everywhere. The main pool is usually closed for “cleaning”. Getting ahold of Maintence is a hassle, they say they will put it as an emergency Maintence, but it will take them a week or more to get to your problem at times. Also, lots of robberies here and break ins!Don’t bother moving here and making an appointment for repairs because they will lie. We were supposed to get our floors done, they claim that a man already showed up and measured everything. Haha that’s funny because the man that showed up told us he had no idea what was even happening or what was being repaired. So no, he didn’t measure anything. I moved my furniture because the MANAGER gave me an appointment to get my floors done and no one showed up. Now the manager claims it was for a “walk through for measurements”. Yeah go for it, go back on your word now. Don’t move here. They charge you for everything, the apartments aren’t beautiful like it says on their automated phone recording, they are busted and need repairs. The manager doesn’t know what she’s doing and will have you sign documents and not fall through with her word or document that was signed.I wouldn’t recommend living here.(Photo is showing all the glass alcohol bottles people leave there)

Dont rent here go somewhere else there staff is rude and unmanageable, they don’t do maintenance requests instead they lie and say the fixed issues when they haven’t, they hold you accountable for things when youve put in plenty of requests. WORST apt complex in San Antonio. Nothing works, apt are TOO OLD falling apart. Broken AC units, MAILBOXES, cars broken in, laundry room always not working... Cockroaches everywhere cuz they do ZERO pest control... POOLS in the last 3 years were closed for maintenance 95% of the time. Management doesnt care, they keep changing anyway.Neighbors are low quality, noisy and LITTER everywhere it has become a filfhy ghetto with trash and dog poop everywhere and lots of unleashed PITBULLS running around... people let their dg poop INSIDE the dog park and dont pick up, which has turned it into a giant cat litter..DO NO MOVE IN, there is a reason why rents are less expensive than other places... STAY AWAY.

These apartments are riddled with roaches. When I first moved in it took a month to get my mail key and my storage lock changed. The mail area is always a mess everyones mail box is open and mail is all over the floor. Ive found some of my bills just scattered. The laundry room are always messy and dont work properly. The apartment it self is not super bad but when things break it takes maintenance a while to come and check out the problem but doesnt fix it properly. For the price of these apartments I wouldnt recommend anyone live here.

Update Review 10/2/22: my husband and I have been living here for 5 months. Wanted to give an update. I recommend the property, when an issue occurred, they fixed. Although I don’t ever get an answer by calling the phone to the office, I am able to text chat with the office and they always respond. Everything is great! Ac is great! There was a water issue and we were informed! It was fixed and it works better than before! We will definitely renew a lease but I do not want to be in the apartments near the road. SO noisy. 😭(Just got our keys yesterday afternoon, moved all out things in today! We love the working amazing ac, layout of the apartment! I know my husband and I are really going to love it here! Staff Tony is amazingly, move in process was fast and efficient! I can’t wait to go swimming! 😊4/30/22)

Really bad experience with this manegment.Tones of Cockroaches in the apartment, keep treating them by myself and spend a lot of money from my pocket, because the response of the manegment was so bad and Slow.Cockroaches where everywhere! In the kitchen, bathroom and they jump on your bed and inside all the appliances.Inside the cabinets, under the sink....There was no disposor under the kitchen sink, and when I asked them to install a new one, and after shouting.. they said OK.The security gate is always open... Its only for view not more

Worst apartment I ever stayed at. my A/C has been out since the end of may and we are now in summer July. had to get $800 worth of other A/C units just to cool my apartment. management has been blowing me off saying they are understaffed. would not recommend staying here. today if got up 85 degrees in here and it was 106 outside. I also have a child that is under 2 years old and still no urgency from management

First moved here in March. Decent communication, nice looking apartment, quiet community. $1200+ for a 1 bd loft…. Most outlets don’t work in the home. Dead roaches everywhere. Next came the dumpsters over flown almost everyday so trash everywhere. Not too much of big deal until June (last month) where the tub is nonstop leaking so now mold is grown and I’ve submitted a work order every other week. Started infesting with roaches! About a week and a half ago the hot water stopped working and everyday I submit the order they just tell me to wait 30 minutes for it to get hot?! (Obviously didn’t work)There was also no parking by my apt and had to park further for just 1 hour and my car was towed and had to pay $300 !!! Somebody also tried to break into my truck!The first 3 months were manageable but my lease ends in December and i don’t think on planning to stay that long.

[Qualifier: The 4 stars are about the current management, apartment alone is 3 stars]In our years here we have enjoyed the place. The location is fantastic to get to places and it is also very pet friendly which is why we chose it.The reason Im leaving this comment is because the complex has new management and they are kicking the ball out of the park. Instead of doing unneeded superficial changes to quickly flip, they are actually improving the place itself. Its becoming a much better living environment.Its a spacious affordable apartment in a great location that allows pets. The staff is attentive and friendly. But it is an apartment and comes with all the issues that apartment living provides.Last comment about improvement. For awhile we had problems with noise (parties, arguments, etc.) I dont know how it was resolved, but those tenants are gone and it is nice an peaceful.

Doesnt even deserve a star. Im only 1 month into my lease and am having to move to do unsafe and unhealthy living conditions. The trash is piling up.so high, Im sure there are rats by now. Nothing works. They moved me into a unit where there are loud pachangas all night. Dog poop everywhere, sewer leaks in the side walks, my dog has has diarrhea since we moved here, no working washer machines, heck they couldnt even change the air filter from the last tenants! So gross! Run away as fast as u can!

Ive lived here for 1.5years. Office staff and maintenance is horrible. I have been telling the office to fix my Hvac unit since before Thanksgiving. I keep getting the run around. Maintenance came to fix the heater but ac will no longer work! Trying to reach the front office is a headache to them not answering the phone. Finally got a hold of the office and they told me that I need a new unit which they have but cannot install till more parts come in for maintenance to install it for safety reasons! I pay my rent on time and I just wants things to be fixed in a timely manner. I WILL NOT be renewing my lease due to the ongoing problem.

Absolute JOKE! People please save your money. This place has roaches, The kitchen counters come clean off the counter tops, windows don’t lock, and the place is swarming with crackheads!!! Don’t believe me? Check the place out at 2AM.And the manager Claudia Everett is an even bigger joke. These people screw over young inexperienced people into putting down 2k for POS units then they hold the money and refuse to reimburse when the unit is inspected. DO NOT MOVE HERE

Lived in these apartment since September first few months were okay, then my Ac broke was out for about two weeks was told by maintenance it had a leak but they have never fixed it all they did was add freon to keep it cool (mind you my Ac unit has gone out more than once) now it isnt working again its been out for three days already I work in a warehouse that is hot and come home to an apartment thats 90 degrees I have small children living with me why am I paying so much in rent if you cant fix a simple issue how many times do I have to go into the office before you actually get something done? And the office lady Im assuming is the manager Ive never seen her is rude she has the audacity to roll her eyes at you and sigh like if your a nuisance for bothering her about the Ac being broken, save your money dont move here if you can pay 1,000+ go somewhere else not worth the stress.

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Currently I have been here 2 weeks and this place is disgusting. I first moved in July 22 and the place was INFESTED with roaches. Not water bugs, ROACHES. I put in two work orders because no new tenant should EVER experience that. I have bleached, sprayed, bombed back to back, cleaned out the fridge 3 times (with bleach), bought a new mop just so I could throw bleach in my fridge without being near it. As the pictures show these are not water bugs, these are nasty roaches. I can’t even put food in the fridge because they get in anything. I had a bag of unopened spinach and they got in it. These people in the other reviews are not lying when they say there is a roach infestation. I was left a card about recommendations. I haven’t even unpacked my belongings because of how many roaches there are. This is a violation of my health, safety and peace. Roaches carry diseases. No one should live like this. Oh by the way, their “touch up” work is literally painting over dirty from the last tenants

This place and the people in the front office, KIM and SYLVIA were very unprofessional with their inability to resolve the complaints. I had a special case where I was moving out of state but the job itself was taking longer than expected and moving into an extended stay hotel was more expensive than just getting an apartment with a 3 month lease. This apartment was one of the few who were willing to do a 3 month lease, with extra cost of course. Unfortunately, I should of gotten the extended stay hotel because once I moved out, Kim completely lied about erroneous fictitious fees and refused to give me my security deposit back and completely made up a reason to bill me for other expenses as well. They even went as far as to call the cops on me when I comforted them about it. Do not do what I did and not read the reviews or believe the reviews. The apartments themselves are old and do not include microwaves or washer and dryers in the units. Plus, bugs are an issue, not just roaches but other weird looking bugs that Ive never seen nor have seen since leaving there. The apartment had not been cleaned when I moved in either. They literally turned over a gross dirty apartment that still had a forgotten pile of dirt in the corner that included a dead roach, filthy toilet and shower when I moved in. When I questioned them about it, they said someone was coming to clean it, but they never did. Looking back on it, this should have been my first indicator that I should move or at least take them to court to throw out my lease. Personally, I refused to clean up someones defecation and filth when it is the responsibility of the apartment, so I never stayed there and chose to live with a friend the remainder of the time. AGAIN, I would not advise one to move here. There are much better locations in San Antonio than here.

4/19: UPDATE:I called the number provided by the owner.. the manager Kim didn’t even want to speak with me because I wasn’t signed on the lease. I was calling while my girlfriend was at work to discuss her living space concerns..Lighting fixtures are dangerous and I have burnt my hand once. Maintenance will enter your home regardless if you specify for them not to. Hope you have good car insurance as well! Theft is not uncommon at these apartments as well! Counting down the days till we are gone forever!11/18:I urge even my worst of enemy to never select this place to live. Any good reviews are from the staff or management... Hot water is non-existent, management is sloppy and extremely unorganized, there are hidden fees after signing lease. We are pretty much paying for an air conditioned storage space. Our apt reeked of cigarette smoke when we moved in (still has a hint of it). Air filters are disgusting and the replacement filters that you have to go to management for, do not even fit in the duct. This is not a home. My girlfriend and I are beyond unhappy. We want desperately out of this lease, and we’re only a couple months in.

It keeps getting worse here ever since management companies switched. When we moved in our unit there was literally a homeless man asleep on our living room floor I’m not exaggerating one bit but we were eager so we moved in Anyway. There are tons of cracks in our apt no matter how much we clean we still get roaches. It’s always dirty they have tiny lil dumpsters for a huge property. I literally kick trash every day walking my dog. All the pools turned green and my son is disappointed every single day because we live directly behind the pool. Good luck in maintenance coming to your unit if it isn’t an emergency. If you have another choice. Don’t pick here. Trust me. You deserve better.

Advertises laundry units. They do not actually have working machines. Does not put pressure on CSC to come repair current machines. They keep saying they’re going to replace them. Been saying that for 6 months. Trash frequently piles up. Units are poorly built and falling apart.

I have lived at these trash apartments for over a year now!!! Within that time frame, numerous work orders have been placed and nothing actually gets fixed! The only thing the “maintenance” people do is basically bandage the problem. (What a joke). I have 3 kids living at home and ac has been out for I couldn’t tell u how long. Mind u my youngest is 1 year old and the thermostat is reading close to 80° in the apartment. Also, there are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms or the living room. We had to go buy stand up lights to have lights in the bedrooms and living rooms. Dining room and kitchen are the only places they have light fixtures. We have had roach problems since we moved here. It’s so bad the roaches are eating holes in the ceiling and living up top. If I was able to give a ZERO star rating it would’ve been done!! Highly do not recommend

If I could give a lower review I would, this is the worst apartment complex ever. I moved out in August and now I have a collection from them after 5 months with no notification. When I first moved in there was roaches and it smelt like smoke in the apartment. I am just a college student and this was what I could afford but I instantly regretted it. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. It’s not safe, sanitary, and the office staff is rude. There was roaches when we first moved in and had to buy bug spray to try to keep the roaches out. After we would clean and clean there would still be a roach or two due to the poor sanitation of the apartment. The hot water was off at least once a month and the notification about the time frame was usually incorrect. The first week I lived there I heard gun shots and about a month later there was a car shot up in the parking lot. My boyfriend had his truck broken into and then his wheels stolen. The apartment claims there is a courtesy protocol but I only saw him once for the whole year I lived there. The dumpsters are always overfilled, there is trash and dog poop everywhere, and the laundry room is dirty. The apartment itself was not leveled and the paint in the cabinets would stick to the dishes. The door did not seem secure and there was damage when we moved in. The ABSOLUTE WORST apartment ever!

Constant staff and management change, no one knows anything! The landing of our steps are rotted, and because of all the management changes it still has not been fixed. Went to complain two weeks ago and there were new mangers. I went again today, AND THERES NEW STAFF AGAIN!!! The hot water always goes out. My car was keyed, along with many other cars. The payment portal is down, so if you are out of town at the beginning of the month and you planned on paying rent online, to bad doesnt matter, late fees it is because of their mistakes. It sucks because I really like my actual apartment. But I will leave once my lease is up... which is next year. I have lived in a couple of apartments, this one is the worst by a long shot.

Our central air conditioner has been out of service for 25 days and counting. The property manager said that they are working on high priorities first (roof leaks. That was two weeks ago) and that they are shorthanded in the maintenance department. This could easily be fixed by calling an air-conditioning company and have them come out to repair the air conditioner. Luckily some days have been cool, but some days have been warm and humid. We went 19 days without hot water when we first moved in. We tried to get out of the lease within the first 30 days, but no luck. We had to travel to our gym in order to be able to take a warm shower. Save yourself a huge hassle and look elsewhere.

I had scheduled an appointment to tour an apartment at this complex at 12:30pm on a Wednesday. I even received text messages from an automated number from this property reminding me of my scheduled tour. The manager was very certain that this day and time would most definitely work for their schedule. I show up 10 minutes early and the doors were locked and no one was seen at the front desk through the glass doors. I wait till exactly 12:30pm and I get back off my vehicle and walk up to the front doors which are still locked. I look through the glass doors and see a man sitting at the front desk. He just uses hand gestures to tell me no that they’re closed repeatedly. I go back to my vehicle and try calling the complex twice, but no answer. I then leave a voicemail letting them know I had a scheduled tour for that day at 12:30pm. It is now 1:00pm and I had no choice but to leave to my next scheduled tour at a different complex. I still have not received a call back. I guess I’m glad it went the way it did, because the unprofessionalism just helped me decide that The Escapade complex is just not the place for me to live.

We lived in this complex for almost 4 years and never had a late payment once. It was terrible and loud, but we didn’t have a money for a deposit on a new place, so we kept sticking it out. At one point we had a leak in our ceiling that caused mold to grow everywhere. It was in the ac vents! It was dramatically impacting our health, but even after reporting it to the office 4 times over many months, nothing was done. The people who worked in the office kept leaving before anyone could help us. It took 8 months of repeated office visits and complaints for them to move us. I will be including photos of what they forced us to live in.Now for the biggest reason I’m writing this review. We finally moved out in June of 2020. We put in our notice, cleaned the apartment, moved. In July they called asking for our rent payment and my husband explained that we had put in our notice and no longer lived there. They looked at our file, said okay, and that was the last we heard from Escapade. Just now (Aug 2020) we received a phone call from a collections agency telling us that Eacapde says we owe $2000!!! We have never even received a phone call!! I have photos of the apartment before we left, it was clean. We put in our 60 day notice and even paid a month of rent when we weren’t living there! I am furious! 4 years of paying on time every month, dealing with back mold and not reporting them, putting in our notice; we did everything right!Escapade is a disgusting company that doesn’t care one iota about their residents. UPDATE AS OF 01/24/2019:DAY 3 of no HOT WATER and filthy, orange-tinted running water. Management left a note the other day stating that a boiler repair would affect access to hot water until 5 PM. They also said we would still have running water, but they lied. Water was cut off from 11 AM to about 4 PM the past 2 days. When the water finally did come back on, black pebbles started to come out of the faucets and the water was a weird orange/brown color. We have had no hot water for the past THREE days, and management still doesnt know when itll be fixed. I firmly stand by my previous review! This place is absolutely AWFUL. Please do not rent here!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT rent at Escapade! By far the worst living experience at an apartment Ive had yet. The management and staff at the leasing office is constantly changing, so no one really knows what theyre doing, my car was broken into not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES in the span of 5 mo., I have put in countless work orders and only ONE has been fulfilled in the past 5 months of living here, the hot water goes out every 4-6 weeks for days at a time, roaches and bugs are a constant and my apartment has so much mold, its honestly a biohazard at this point. Update: Hot water is out again. Had a good run of probably 6 weeks or so without it going out. Longest single period of time we’ve had functioning hot water since we’ve lived here. But hey, the new management really made the rocks and stuff look nice at the entrance.Been here for 9 months and am so thankful to be invoking my military clause soon. 0 stars really should be an option. All the negative reviews are true; the hot water issues in particular have been unacceptable. The real cherry on top is the fact that my car, along with serveral others in the lot, was keyed last night. Giant gash across the width of my hood. Please don’t move here, you WILL regret it. My wife & I are here primarily because we have 2 big dogs, but for the love of God find somewhere else. Do not consider Escapade as even a remote possibility, again, you will regret moving here.

Infested with ROACHES! Management team is unprofessional and disrespectful. Trash is never picked up constantly all over the ground. No notice given when working on building repairs even when a schedule is requested they have zero compassion for their residents. I have had multiple items stolen and management takes Zero responsibility. Cars are always broken into. Not a safe environment. Never rent here you will regret it! Just recieved a call from Veronica the property manager she still cant do anything about issues and doesnt know a schedule for the building repairs. UPDATE AS OF 3/5/2019: Hi Kim!! Since you responded to my review and left your number for me to call you, well, I DID!! However you left me on hold for so long I had to go back to work!! So, what is the point of copying and pasting the *same* response to every review if you are really not going to do anything to fix all your problems at managing a complex!? About 6 months ago, when I left Escapade (Yay!!) You guys were at 2.3 stars. You have managed to quickly go down to 2.2!! Keep it up!!I moved out of this place on October 2018 (thankfully). And, I have found a great place I can call home! Even though I had such a bad experience living at this complex I really had forgotten about leaving them a review. However, I just recently got a notice from a collections agency letting me know about an outstanding balance I had at Escapade, and, this was the FIRST time I ever got notice of that balance. Prior to leaving Escapade I personally went into the office to sign that I was NOT renewing my lease and to let them know my forwarding address as well, especially for this purpose: AVOID ANY ISSUES WITH PAYMENTS THAT CAN AFFECT MY CREDIT. It is no surprise to me that they messed up their work even after I had moved out. They really are very bad at keeping up with maintenance requests, Kim (one of the managers at the time) is extremely rude and disrespectful, careless and completely incompetent. If you move here you will constantly see new staff at the office. These buildings are way old and if they look somewhat modern is because just less than 4 months ago they renovated all the outsides ONLY. There constantly are vehicles getting broken into and if you ever have a problem with your rent money coming out of your bank but not reaching Escapades system, youre screwed, you will have to file a claim with your bank but Escapade wont even show you a bit of empathy. Also, the neighbors are SCARY (as described by my boyfriend and mom who often visited me).

To start out, I had a rough experience with the escapades. They moved my boyfriend and I in to an efficiency on July with no A.C. when maintenance came they just couldnt fix it and they had to wait until the holidays were over, Come to find out the whole entire unit had to be replaced and they moved us in, in the 110 degree weather without A.C. So unpacking was put on halt and we had to partition the apartment to try to stay cool. There are bugs, and not just small baby ones, like 2 inch long ones. Another issue I had with the apartment was the maintenance men would come into the apartment with out notification. Came home and he was inside and the door was wide open. I will say they do have bugs. The last problem I had with this apartment was I was broken into twice. Im not going to blame it entirely on the apartment, but the break ins are every weekend and multiple cars a night. I think this complex is outdated and over priced.Management:If you want anything done, Go straight to Ingles, She really tries to help and will work with you to the best of her abilities. She is the reason I stayed . After the second break in and my insurance threatened to drop us, she really tried to help and gave us options.Over all I wouldnt recommend the property, but my experience here wasnt awful.Pros:Was allowed to have my husky. location, Being right across the street from the mall and right off of 410.

Where do I begin? Work orders dont get done, and pest control is a freaking joke, pools are always disgusting! Dont bother calling the office if you need something done, go straight to corporate! I put a work order in almost two weeks ago, they finally brought the air filter I needed and just left it outside, its the wrong size. My ac has been without a filter for almost two weeks so I put in another work order to have the coils cleaned and a filter put in. They said the work order is completed yet no one came to clean the coils and theres still not a filter. Put in a request for pest control, again they said it was completed, another damn lie! Im not working due to pregnancy so Im home all the time and I know they didnt get anything done. Pools always have trash in and around them plus the bottoms are always gross! Oh and if your looking for the fitness center they claim to have it doesnt work! Seriously people do not move here. It was the worst decision we ever made!

Theyre okay because the property was a little worn down, but they have some pretty good deals and nice apartments, I couldnt go there though because they dont have washer and dryer hookups. Im not about to move into a place after paying $850 for a washer and dryer just to spend another $60 a month to put it in storage.

Okay place to live if you are an easy going person and dont mind feeling like your money isnt put to a well living area. We dealt with one management team during our application process at the beginning of March, when we moved in, it was a different management by the middle of March, and now at the beginning of June its under another completely different management. Our original apartment had a foul odor, they tried to fix and fumigate the smell but we started getting large flies so definitely something dead was in the walls. We moved into a different apartment and as far as the smell goes we havent had a problem. However, we do have baby roaches and pest control is not a big help, we have had frequent water problems as a complex not just a unit, although very pet friendly dog poop is a site you often see, my spouses car got keyed along with ten others in the lot, there are gates but not always are they closed, three pools is a nice luxury but unfortunately they were closed easter and memorial weekend which was such a bummer. Aside from rent, you have 10 dollars for trash and 5 for pest control every month as well as 3 for trash admin fee and 2 for gas admin fee. I wish we would have moved into a more stable complex. :(

So many things wrong with this complex. They are WAY too focused on the superficial aspects of place rather than that actual living situations. New management is not an improvement.Roaches. So many roaches. We live on the 2nd floor and get all of the babies. When walking up the stairs at night you can see the larger ones crawling around the pavement. I have baby roaches crawling all over my kitchen floor you can see them scatter when you turn the lights on. We also have a nest of hornets nest on my front porch light. They have the exterminator come every Monday and each guy says something different. One sprayed and the other said that they shouldve baited and that it should be fixed. I waited and still have them, if anything it has gotten worse. Not sure if it was the same company. I called again this Monday and of course got voicemail. I told them I wanted the whole building sprayed. Nothing. Our 3 yr old has eczema and Im allergic to American cockroaches. Health hazards are not taken seriously.Water gets turned off frequently with little to no notice. When you call about it you get attitude from the office. I had a leak under my kitchen sink that left my whole kitchen and dining room flooded and had to call 3x about it. They came in the first time and apparently couldnt see a problem. Next time I called it took them 2 weeks to get someone out there. And he still said he couldnt find a leak. 3rd time I had to call again and had to record the water spewing out. Finally the next maintenance guy came in and said the problem blatantly obvious and finally helped fix it. The washers and dryers suck. Always have some flooded and out of order or weird things inside. The dryers dont dry your clothes fully no matter load size or how many times you re-dry them. No AC in there and it is not well kept.Apartment is more concerned about the landscape and remodeling SOME of the buildings, they stopped halfway and only did the ones in the front. Said they had renovated inside but we have awful floors, they are warped and water drains down and pools under my kitchen sink so you can tell. Walls are hard to clean bc of the weird paint. The front gate never works. Literally anyone can come into the conplex whenever they want. There is never consistency with the gate.The management went around the parking lots and put pink stickers on a bunch of cars saying the parking was unauthorized bc some had flat tires. Flat tires. My car was given 24hrs when others got 48hrs. How they decide the time frame I have no clue. When I went in to ask about my car I got attitude bc I signed a lease saying I wouldnt have flat tires when in fact it says no inoperable vehicles. When I pointed that out along with the fact that my car was operated regularly she said I was lying and got more defensive. They are more concerned about spending money for a towing co. than taking care of their roach problem or water issues. They bank on the fact that if it looks pretty they can get ppl to sign leases and they dont have to worry about it anymore. Would not recommend this place to anyone and 100% not renewing.

I barely reached the midway point in my lease before water came raining down from my ceiling on two separate occasions. The cause? The office was making repairs to the empty apartment upstairs and left the A/C on too high. This is the worst place I have ever lived. The dumpsters are constantly overflowing, there is trash blowing around the property because of this, my mailbox was broken for months and the office was once again incredibly not helpful. I moved out early and paid in full even though it was entirely their fault my property was damaged by water, twice.

This is day #3, they are waiting on a part from California for something they claimed to have completely replaced at the beginning of February when we were without hot water for a week!At least once a month we are either without hot water or without water completely ...were on day 3 with no hot water! They sent a notice sorry for the inconvenience. Well, I wonder if they would be understanding about the inconvenience if we all paid the rent late! I think not. I have lived here for about 5 months, and thankfully am in my last month of my lease. Out of this 5 months I have had to report to management that my hot water has been out 9 times. Each time they email me back within a day saying the problem is fixed but it ony takes about a week for the hot water not to work again. Out of these 9 times there have been 2 times that they have done repair to the boiler, stating that there will still be water available during the day but that it will not be hot water. The water is INSTEAD shut off entirely both times. And these repairs arent seeming to last.There has also been anissue with billing. The online account which you can pay through not matching the amount that they will email you. 2 of the 5 times Ive paid the rent that the online program says I owe. I ended up getting a note on my door saying that I owe them more money.That being said, the renovations have been nice, and any time I go into the office everyone is kind.I understand that they dont shut off my hot water on purpose or have control over when the hot water decides to work or not, but since this has been an ongoing problem (going back to previous reviews under the old management) instead of painting the buildings or putting up new panneling, the boiler issue needs to be prioritized.

Just leased an apartment here for my son. We saw the actual Apartment that he will be living in. There were no roaches and the apartment was very nice. The Management team was extremely professional and over all this my son and Is experience was good. The grounds of the community were not dirty as mentioned on other reviews The apartments are older but look very well maintained.

Long read so you may have to skim though but I there was just so much wrong here. I’ve been living here for about 2 weeks. I regrets signing the lease. I was supposed to move in the last weekend in July. I was told that if I signed by the 24th to help them close out their books/have another lease signed on the books by that day that they would give me the rest of July free. It was a great deal so I did however I was told at the last minute that my apartment was not ready. Since I already had plans to move in and had to be out of my old apt on the 31st, I had no time to look for anything else. I was not able to move in until the 31st, which was the same day I was to be out of my old apt!!! This lead to a $500 loss for me since I had to take 2 unpaid days off work during the week to moved and had to pay movers for 2.5 hours (since my sis and brother who were to help me move during the weekend have to work and couldn’t help me move during the week). The 2 weeks free special and the $200 discount for my patience ( yes I was very patient and understanding) ended up being of no help to me since the escapde ended up leading me to lose about that. On top of all of the monetary loss, I’m not even comfortable here. I have to run my AC at 70 at night (when I’m usually comfortable at 74) since the vents in the bedrooms are not blowing the air, the water comes out rusty (was told to just run it for a while. What?!? And lose even more money because your unorganization and inefficiencies?!?) There are still holes in the walls where the toilet pipes are (which is a prime entrance for roaches) Also, the apt wasn’t even cleaned properly. You can tell since the hair from the previous tenant is painted onto the cabinets because the hair was not cleaned off completely, some outlets are not work which is Inconvenient since there are no lights in the livingroom and bedrooms ceilings, water in dishwasher is starting to pool and stink. They tried to entice me with the fact that all the appliances were new but I can’t even use the new dishwasher. Door in one of the restroom door to one of the bathrooms has to be slammed to shut. Everything that was fixed or done before I moved in was done poorly. It’s not the poor maintenance guys fault they probably aren’t even hardly given any notice. I’ll be posting pictures and will also post an update soon. I have so many more things to worry about than writing this post but I just can’t let this go without warning others. I am a single mother with children and I’ve been having to worry about all of this constantly call the office a while being told that the have others apts to worry about. I’m embarrassed to invite my family to dinner and am just totally unhappy here. Not worth the $1,000. I’m paying but I’m stuck paying full price for subpar. Oh and if you’re going to use the excuse that an employee is new and unaware, FINE but fix everything that needs fixing and if your maintenance is short staffed, hire more. Do what you need to make things right!

Not even worth one star, but it is the only way I can write a review. WORST apartments and management ever. I dont even know where to begin with all the issues we have had here, mind you we have only lived here since May of 2016. Our water heater is a joke the water goes from scalding hot to freezing cold in a matter of seconds, there is always some type of fee that gets added on each month. Roaches and bugs seem to invade the complex even though the management claim that we have pest control. I could go on and on about how horrible these apartments are and how the management is a joke but please save yourself the trouble and money and look somewhere else.Please please please take your business somewhere else. I honestly cant say anything good about his apartment anymore .... When we moved in there were issues that still never got fully addressed and fixed not only that, our ac stopped working 2 weeks ago!!! A week later they bring one small window unit that is barely keeping our bedroom decent but DOES NOT keep our full apartment comfortable not for us nor for our DOG we tried explaining this to the office and maintenance and nothing we had requested to be transferred to a new unit because of this and were waiting (we shouldve gotten a actual update by now) on the new unit we still have problems with ac were still dealing with work orders that shouldve been taken care of 2 months ago and werent and its horrible maybe we should just listen to our friends and family that are telling us to get off the lease ASAP and find somewhere better because noone should be treated like this we now have to take our dog to the vet because this heat is so bad on our apartment shes having medical problems Im even having medical problems and my boyfriend is dehydrated from this we have asked every day for a update and they keep saying they have contractioors doing painting and flooring when the painting was already done because we saw ppl painting the day after the ppl that lived there moved out!!!! UPDATE: We had flowing hot water on 06/13 in the evening.Hot water is constantly going out! We are currently on DAY 4 without any hot water in our unit! (6/13/17).Couples are continuously having sex in the pool after 10PM. Id keep your kids away from the pool with the semen.Weve been renting here for the last three years.Upon moving here, everything WAS great! Work orders were answered within a timely manner (24-48 hour turnaround) and the staff in the leasing office were exceptionally kind. I can honestly say we did not have any issues during our first year of residency here.Fast forward to the 2nd year and our current third year:-Weve had issues where our work orders were being answered three weeks after being submitted.-Work orders were not being properly completed in the system that the maintenance workers were entering the apartment days/weeks later and setting off our security alarm.-Break-ins and our neighbors truck was actually stolen between the hours of 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM, right under our noses.-Roaches and spiders. Though we called to have the pest control come through and spray the apartment, the critters would come back weeks or months later.-People who do not even live in the apartment complex are utilizing the pool at all hours of the night. Not even kidding, someone was having a party with music, a spotlight, and screaming children at 2:00 AM.-Entrance and exit gates are never fully working at their full potential. Either the entrance gate is working and the exit gate isnt, or vice versa.-Loud neighbors who have no regard that there are other residents who can hear their screaming/arguing, and beating their children.-Of course you have your handful of people who do not clean up after their dogs.The list goes on and on. Of course you cannot have a peachy perfect lease with an apartment complex, but it is apparent that some things need to be changed.The maintenance workers are cool though! Theyre friendly and will stop to talk to you when you approach them. If you tell them you have an issue, theyll stop by to assess the issue and try to fix it in between maintenance requests.

Those dreams were shattered before the lease finished, management has changed more than twice and each time its changed theyve had a chance to improve the living standards for the residence but they failed miserably to do so. We had a roach problem, we had to deal with cold water during winter time. ( never had hot water) Experienced people trying to break into our home, what made everything worse was dealing with management that would do nothing to fix the problems. My fiancé and I really enjoy living here. The office staff is constantly making us feel welcome, the convenience of having several laundry rooms is fantastic, just in case one is full i have another togo to. Maintenance work is always done in a timely manner. So far its been an amazing 6 mos. only disappointing thing is owners not picking up after their dogs,especially after they poop on our sidewalks, but thats not at all any fault of Escapade.

The only reason I moved in to this place was because of how convenient they made paying the move in fee. As well as the fact they dont have breed restrictions. There are too many down sides versus what could be seen as a positive though. The whole complex smells like zoo dirt, dont dare walk anywhere but the side walks. Even though that still isnt safe. People assume because they have a smaller dog they dont need to use a leash.The pools are always cloudy, the important information you need to know from the leasing office is put on your door to blow away while nonsense about leasing office pizza parties are emailed directly to you.My apartment personally wasnt what I would want to pay $890 for, small kitchen, small bathroom sink, small dim and poorly circulated rest room and shower. There were cracks in the foundation that would allow roaches to enter. Neighbors really dont govern their dogs, they put them on the balcony to bark at all times of early morning and late night. The leasing agents power trip over company policy like their decision is the deciding factor resulting in a disgruntled tenant complaining to corporate rather than them calling corporate to ask questions or pull strings. Its all about seeing what you can do and if not, at least you tried and I understand and respect that everyone has someone to answer to. With the exception of Renee, most of the agents would rather argue or get defensive when someone is filling a work order or is upset about the lack of expedience when it comes to maintenance fixing things. Thats all I have to say though.

I had an issue with uncompleted work orders; the new manager and his staff were able to complete all of my repairs within one days. I dont know about you, but that was fast. I can see a better change now. Unfortunately, I had to leave such a great place to live. When I return to San Antonio, I know I can call Escapade my home.

My name is Karen, my husband and I moved to san antonio and saw the apartments online everything looked great and promising but we were in for a surprise once we actually saw the place and even worse when we moved it. I have moved out of that place since october of 2018 and until this day I am still having to deal with them. I had left my account at a ZERO balance and i was taken by surprise when I received a letter from a debt collection company saying i had an outstanding balance with escapade. I went to speak with management that same day and they said they have no idea how that could happen because like i knew my balance was at zero! I have asked Kim (the manager) to email them especially because she offered to do so since it was their mistake. It is now MAY and the company still has heard NOTHING from them. Now my credit is messed up because of this place and I am having to take care of something that if people would have done their job right wouldnt be happening. Besides that, the buildings are so old, they tried to just put a band aid over them with the remodeling they did but trust me they are OLD and they even smell like it. We were stuck there for a year, but we did have to rent another place before our lease was up because that place was not a good one to be living at. Which was the best decision we could have made. Cops were always being called in the middle of the night, neighbors are SO loud, and bottom line i never felt safe there. This is place is just awful and the management makes things even worse!

I really wish I would’ve read the reviews to this place. You pay over 1k in rent to be surrounded with flying roaches at night. My apartment is slanted and walls are cracking, I can literally hear it crack at night. I have a 1 year old that keeps falling due to this place being slanted. The water in my shower has been off for 2 days no water pressure. It seems like this place has been the same for years from what I read. How sad. I just asked to be moved to a different unit due to feeling unsafe. Let’s see how that goes.

Promised me and my fiancée, a 1 bedroom apartment, & had us pay all the fees for it & 2 & a half weeks before move in, our apartment magically disappears. Not only are they unable to refund us our money, they also are unable to put us in an apartment suitable for our needs. They offered an apartment 300$ more expensive, or an apartment with half the space of the one we signed for. Manager says it’s not her problem. Worse place to live. Hot water is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS OUT. I have had a leak in the living room since day one. As soon as we first moved in we saw the big stain from the water. Been here over a year and ever time it rains the living room floods. I have made a complaint every time. They will send someone to come look at it and then they do nothing. Left a ring near the sink in the bathroom while They came in to fix a light that had been broken 6 months finally. Maybe stole the ring or accidentally kicked it down the drain. If i ever find it i will edit this part but i know i left it there. Roaches EVERYWHERE. literally they are all over the place. Been having sore throats from cold showers. A/C never worked right. Pools are dark green. look like fishing ponds. paying over 1200 a month and the gym has three machines no vents. Hot in summer cold in winter. No T.v in gym or radio. No bathroom in gym so if you wanna work out and nature calls you gotta walk all the way back home. Last year the electricity kept going off. We would be left in the dark and with out a/c or heater for hours or days. This week alone i have called three times about hot water. I stay here because it is very close to work. I guess that is my one star. Homeless people sneak into laundry facilities at night and sleep.

If there was a way to give negative or no stars I would. This has been the worst living experience I’ve ever had. After meeting with them and getting a quote on my lease, I came in the sign my lease and put my deposit down and they claimed they’d never seen or spoke to me before. First warning, VERY UNORGANIZED OFFICE. Not only did my apt smell like smoke when I moved in, the apt was filthy. Upon living here I learned there is NO HOT WATER. Today they delivered a notice dated for 5 days ago saying I owed money that was due yesterday. So now I’m paying late fees because their office can’t get things done on time. It was also the only notice I recieved no calls or emails. The STAFF ISNT FRIENDLY when you come in with complaints and assistant manager is rude. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!

4 months at the complex and since day one the leasing staff have been always helpful and friendly, keeping maintenance crew on top of every request need it as soon as they can, if not the same leasing staff will come thru in emergency, in My case! My dogs lock me out at the patio with the inside lock on the main door, no way to open with keys, maintenance and leasing staff join me as soon I explain what happened, to figure out a way and it got solve! with no money waisted for lockmans,couple of brains into the save problems sharing idea, just team work.Love you guys for that one❤ They down to earth if you will ask me, they got me into a nice apartment! with a big patio since I have two puppies and my dogs love it!, It was my best option because my work schedule is crazy and time is what I less count with, now I have a gym, 3 nice pools, and a dog park at the property and that mades my day by day way easier, it feels like home for me and I get to stay toon. Not mentioning i have everything need it from groceries and personal care within 5 miles radius!

There was issues in the beginning since there was a change in management and it was under construction. Hot water would go out alot. Alot of trees which is nice just alot of bugs out. The apartments are beautiful the property is very well cared for. They dont ever bother you which I love. There is no breed restrictions which is great. No place is perfect but overall It does feel like home.///7/21/16 update apartments have gone down hill. Maintenance never reponds to requests anymore, people blast their music outside like its a nightclub. Dogs are running loose. This will be my last year in these apartments.

Absolutely worst place to live, they are so unorganized, if you ask them a question, there response is, i dont know. But what they do know, is how to cheat there tenants out of money, lease contracts and a numerous amount of other things. The management team at this complex is by far the rudest and most unprofessional set of women ive ever come across. I have never felt so disrespected by anyone of authority at a place of buisness or residency, after i went to them with a concern about the complex maintenance worker forcing himself into my apartment and breaking off my door panel while it was securely locked while my fiance and I were asleep. Instead of hearing the truth on this matter the manager and assistant manager of this complex, smirk at me as if calling me a liar and tell me im responsible for paying the door damage. This place is ran like a section 8 hell hole, it isnt a place to live comfortably or securely and I am extremely grateful to be long gone from this place as i turned in my keys 1/16/18. Dont read fake reviews left by employees or management staff making up email addresses to boost up there reviews or ratings, stating how nice, and luxurious this place is. Because in reality, they have no hot running water every other week so you have to take cold showers, the pools are always closed due to being dirty, they have insect infestations inside or outside your apartment at night, A.C. units that keep you up all night due to how loud they are when turned on, rude employees and management staff that dont know anything thats going on with the facility, fees and charges that make absolutely no sense, etc. All a tenant wants while living in apartment is to be treated with respect and have an overall great experience , all a tenant wants is to have peace of mind that problems will be resolved if there are any issues, and all a tenant wants is to live safe and securely especially if you have a family. And sad to say, at the end of my lease i recieved absolutely none of this. Dont make the same mistake I did ladies and gentlemen, thank you.Thank you Escapade apartments, Roscoe partnership and other affiliates or ownership. I have decided to take legal action. On the matter of a complaint filed back in 2018. On a breaking and entering on a escapade apartments employee entering apartment #3102 visible from (2) installed indoor cameras without consent. The apartment was locked and secured in a manor where it was known a resident was in the home. Nevertheless the employee did make entry into my apartment as my fiance was showering and I was working. During the transition of partnerships or ownerships throughout this company i did discuss this matter with both parties of this facility. My discussion and complaint was never addressed in a verbal or civil manner which has led me to seek legal action. I hope and pray that my fiance nor myself ever have to deal with this type of discomfort ever again.

Today is 06/02/2016, I called office to let them know that my ceiling was leaking water everywhere from the storms rolling in. Guy in the office said I needed to create a work order online. I told him I couldnt because Im working. He said hell give it to the maintenance guys when he sees them. I come home around 8 pm from work and see that nothing was done and my new mattresses are soaked with water and theres water all over the floor and the ceiling looks like its about to buckle. Guess they dont have a sense of urgency to get stuff done here thats an actual emergency. Guess Ill be calling corporate since Im still waiting for someone to come after the after hours person said they will contact someone.

Then it all crashed fast our work orders would get ignored had to constantly be fighting with leasing office to get anything done around here and oh yeah if you like living with ROACHES and paying 800-900$ then yes please move in. The infestation is so disgusting and management does not care. So why am I paying for pest control if nothing is getting fixed. Also FORGET ABOUT HAVING HOT WATER it’s always going out it’s not a place to call home at all you just pay a lot of money to have to shower somewhere else since we never have hot water. The problem is, is that we did let the people on site know that we were not renewing it. Now they are saying that they have no record of it and the lady who we told is no longer working there.I recently got a new job and am half way around the world right now and wake up to this?! The day after i moved in the ownership changed. The previous owners kind of put me in a not good situation. They put me in a 2 bedroom when all i needed was a 1 bedroom. After talking with Mrs Sylvia and Mrs Kim. They went above and beyond what they had to do to get me into a 1 bedroom. Since then any issue that has come up everyone in the office does whatever they can to help out the situation. I work in construction and the weather keeps us from working at times. Antwaun, Mrs Joi, Mrs Kim, and Mrs Sylvia do whatever they can to work with me to get it taken care of. Any maintenance issues have been taken care of promptly. Since they have taken over management of this property things have gotten almost night and day different from how it was. If something does go wrong or whatever they are all very apologetic and work quickly to fix the problem. Most Definitely would recommend giving The Escapade consoderation if you need a place...THANKS AGAIN MRS SYLVIA, MRS KIM , MRS JOI , AND ANTWAUN and the maintenance crew..YOU GUYS ROCK

I’ve seen my neighbors almost get hit and it’s very scary to see. I hear cars doing burnouts in the middle of the night. It’s very bothersome and becoming a safety issue.

DONT RENT HERE!!! When we went to go check out the apartment complex and got a tour everything looked good but after move in we realized a couple things with the apartment we got like the heater not working(we moved in in January & it was still very cold) a loooott of dog hair on the carpet on our stairs, dirty floors, dead roaches, really bad paint job, and a lot of cracks on the walls.. about a month after move in our SUV was stolen from the parking lot. We asked around with some neighbors to see if they maybe saw something and they didn’t but some of them have had problems before like broken car windows, stolen tires, and stolen vehicles from the same parking lot. This is a gated community but that doesn’t seem to help. The parking lot and most walkways to apartments are very dark at night.Hot water is ALWAYS going out. With no notice & they never know when it’ll be back on 🙄Also if u get a apartment with a chimney be prepared to get bugs in your apartment.

New Management making good changes! On august 9th, i had movers in my home in arkansas and we were about to do our first PCS move. Needless to say it was not a fun one, one of the biggest stresses was finding a home in san Antonio lol. After fighting for weeks with another apt complex in the san antonio area, my husband and i finally gave up. My family and needed somewhere to go, and fast. I called Deanna at The Escapades apts and explained to her our situation. In less than 24 hours we had an official go on a beautiful townhouse they had available with no restrictions on our furbabies! I arrived Thursday August 10 in the afternoon and filled out all the paperwork, had everything turned on! Yall this community ACTUALLY looks like the pictures online and its beautiful! In the middle of filling out paperwork, maintenance informed Deanna of a slight issue, they were putting fresh paint on the walls of the home, pre-spraying for pests, and cleaning it up making sure it was in perfect condition for us. Without batting an eye, Deanna called around to get a hotel booked up for me and the furbabies for the night. On Friday August 11, my husband and i received our keys and did a walk through of our new home. We took note of things that needed to be repaired or replaced and Maintenance was at our home the next business day. Everything was in working order or replaced quickly and correctly. Deanna and her team made sure we were completely taken care of. Needless to say, i would recommened this place to any and everyone as long as they are dog people! You will catch the occational howl or bark, but we dont mind it. This apt has no breed ban, age restrictions, or weight limit which is a huge help for many, including my family as we have a Great Pyreense/ German Shepherd and a Lab/Husky! Currently, they have no deposit on apts, other than for furbabies. The pet deposit is not as high as other apts, nor is the monthly pet rent. This is a management team who truly cares about their renters. I havent been here long, but I do love living here (:

This apartment complex sucks as far as maintenance and getting work orders done. I called the office at least 10 times with no answer. Every time i leave a message i never get a response in return. I called the lady in the front, katherine or kristina, told her my bathtub wouldnt drain.....she didnt ask for my name or apartment number and just told me, ok Ill do a work order its been 2 days......2 days that Ive had to resort to a sink and wash rag as means of bathing because if i take a shower itll flood. Ive requested an air filter multiple times and finally the blonde lady just gave me one without even bothering to send a maintenance guy to check the measurment of the filter soooo i have a filter in a corner that serves no purpose. Only good thing about this place is I can have my pitbull. Besides that this place is over priced for stuff that never works, is always faulty, and never gets done.

You get what you pay for. Get used to seeing over flowing dumpsters, recycling that is sealed by the city for being contaminated(because people run out of room to throw away regular trash that they just use the recycling), and pretty useless staff. Oh, and the parvo outbreak was pretty cool because no one picks up after their dogs. If you hate having hot water, this place is perfect because there was a stretch of five days where there was no hot water in my building.Don’t bother with this place, even if it’s your last choice. You’ll regret it.

I used to live here when i was 7 and it was the most horrible experience ever. I wanted to play tennis and the courts looked to be abandoned with grass and leaves growing every where and the times they cleaned it they had events on the tennis courts. Now that there is high season, I tell you honestly, do not rent in this place, the conditions are not what they promise, everything is old, the connections do not work and for the price I pay here, believe me, you can find newer units, in better conditions... me because I had the great need to move in a hurry... they tell you a month for free and in the end that is a lie... the terrible service at the reception of both women they are always missing the tow truck that has a contract with them they lifted me up my car in front of my apartment, they didnt give me any proof why they only did it to me. Paying $240 to remove it... seems unfair to me when they do not have parking conditions in that sector... and it is very dark at night... it is supposed to be a safe place but it is not.

I stayed years ago when the resort was called Sunray Apartments.Beautiful houses, very quiet, 3 swimming pools, tennis courts and a running path all around.Its all really very related!

Very bad service for 3 days and they dont put the information in the system I went to get the mini order returned and by chance they had entered the information quickly only to not return the money they robbed me without a gun thats how they become millionaires by scamming people terrible service
