The apartments themselves need a lot of work. However, the new management team goes above and beyond to make improvements. And they are doing their best to fix it. I see all the work and effort that is being made. But it takes time to fix what has been neglected. As far as the staff goes. I give them 5 stars. Everytime I have called or asked for help, they have taken care of it immediately! Maintenance are amazing! Even the grounds keeper is working to pick up what people keep throwing down. I had bees in my apartment, and I was moved out for 2 days to ensure my safety. I am so grateful that I didnt have to find a place to go. They put me in a fully furnished sister property. So I didnt have to figure out at the last minute what to do. It is an income based property. I recommend anyone starting over to rent simply for the staff. The care and attention that they have for the people and all they are doing to improve the quality of living there is amazing. Give them a few months, and this place will be restored back to its splendor. Much like the people who stay here.

Run as far as you can in the other direction away from this property. There is always a water outage, Outdated apartments, painted over mold, the german roaches are SO terrible that they crawl out on the ground. Garbage is always over the place. People are moving out left and right. I’ve reported my AC unit out 6 times and no one can seem to fix it correctly. my door is always stuck.. All the management does is sit in the office and look cute. I thought new management would come in and fix things, but no way they are only trying to fix the outside. These apartments are so trashy and I caNOT wait to move. As soon as my lease is up I will be out like speedy Gonzalez and the roadrunner. No one cares about the property, just collecting money. This place should be condemned.

I have had wonderful experiences since moving here February 2023,2024. The grounds are clean, the landscaping is always neat, and the gated entrance makes me feel secure. I am elderly and live on a fixed income. The office staff works with me on regular communication for any pest control or maintenance issue. Raene is great! Proud to call The Landing home.

Don’t do it. I’ve been here for 3 years roaches and rats are everywhere and I am planning my escape. There is drug dealing going on constantly. No one is friendly. People always knocking on the door begging for stuff. There are lots of dumpster diggers. They watch to see what you throw away and snatch it, but don’t even speak when they pass you. This place is for weed heads and crackheads. Don’t leave anything on your patio, it will get stolen. The Landing on NE Parkway is shabby, very shabby.

Ive barely moved into this complex and Ive had nothing but problems since the moment I started the application process. (Aug 2023) The only reason I stuck with it was out of pure necessity and need (they were only asking for 2.5 times the rent vs most places that ask for 3 , it was close to work , and they would accept my dog whom is a large mixed breed, just fyi) The old management ( they literally switched management companies the day I was approved) was extremely incompetent and rude. It took them over 3 weeks to approve me (despite me providing them all of my requested documentation multiple times as well as calling to verify if it was received, and having them verify it was...but then having them tell me two days later that they hadnt)...it was extremely nerve wrecking not to mention costly for me. So then the new management team comes in and to be fair I understand it must be hard for them to play catch up...but, there are obviously issues here as well.... 2 weeks ago I was leaving for work , and discovered my car gone....only to find out that the management team had failed to inform me or provide me with a decal for my vehicle....given the multiple prior conversations and issues I had with getting approved, getting my lease and keys...you would think that someone would have mentioned it...but I never even got the decal until I went down to the office scared out of my mind and in tears was I offered the decal along with a kind of our bad apology.... along with some vague promises to make it up to me....Ive also informed them that the online bill pay system they have shows that I have an outstanding balance ( I dont and thankfully have my receipts cause they tried to claim I hadnt already paid my deposit as well and I had to show that I had ) and Ive asked them to update so that I can just handle my bills and rent online so that I dont have to come to the office since I work overnight....and Ive been basically brushed off and told that they are working on it....but the problem is Im starting to worry that since Ive gotten several notices saying that Im in arrears and its charging me late fees if this will affect my credit...🤦🏾😒...anyhow......if your still reading this...dont do it...look elsewhere.....its more trouble than what its worth and if I hadnt been in a bind , I would have never ever pursued this property.

The property manager Jessica does not belong in this line of work. There is nothing positive about my experience here. Ive seen since I applied the unprofessional inexperienced behavior from the office and now Ive had to experience it. Moving in was ridiculous enough but now having to deal with Jessica has really opened my eyes to understanding why this property is in such disarray. These apartments are not properly inspected. Jessica nor her head of maintenance do their jobs properly. My cousins experience recently had also made me believe Jessica is scamming people. Holding onto applications, not running them for extended amounts of time with no communication. Not offering full deposits back even though they never ran the application. She has no order over the staff. Her behavior with other residents is argumentative and disrespectful. Now Ive experienced it because she is quick to defensive behavior. Even when I contacted her boss Bethany she tried to defend herself as if she wasnt in the wrong. This woman Jessica is pure evil and its sad that she still is running this property when she obviously doesnt care anything about it. I havent heard one resident have anything positive to say. Its sad that people like her can be left in charge when they obviously arent qualified for their position.

I really believe that they had someone put the 3, 4 and 5 stars there. This place is garbage. Nothing gets done and there are constantly rent increases. Roaches are running rampant and there has been times when the trash bills weren’t paid and the grounds were awfully smelly. The water is always off due to some type of emergency and rats eat through everything. Putting paint on the walls over mold is not a renovation.hopefully since they sold this place they can do something great with it because it’s gone down hill.

Just don’t move here! If you like maintenance within your unit, don’t move here. If you like a clean property, don’t move here. If you like getting your money’s worth, don’t move here. If you like security, don’t move here. There are always excuses from the management team as to why issues are never addressed. Yet, they seem to be experts at billing for rent on time, which is this company’s only concern. I am so disappointed I signed a lease here. This place is a real letdown. So, my advise abort landing.

If I could give them 0 stars I would.The extremely rude and disrespectful manager, Jessica Esquivel, breaches this SAAHC propertys SAHA contract and tenant lease terms for a clean, safe, and habitable unit. Head maintenance is unreliable and inept; his staff trash him behind his back. We have burglaries of habitations with no forced entry, and apparently, you can find pretty much whatever you want to get high here. Although maintenance staff patrol the property, none of them ever sees anything.Turns out an out-of-town management company in Nebraska, Perry Reid, is responsible for our day-to-day operations, and being in touch with Regional Manager Bethany Wilson, assigned to this property, quickly made clear she does not want to know what goes on here.All that said, but for failure to repair, I like my corner apartment, its size and layout, and am happy with my neighbors. I love that the property is green. And so, for nearly 6 years Ive stayed, the good outweighing the bad, until finally getting housing and my unit failing the SAHA safety inspection.Then, at last and without notice, a maintenance man knocks on my door one morning and over a couple days does repairs enough to pass 2nd inspection, but the mudding and painting are left unfinished to this day. Last summer, I joined in community organizing to try and make our life here safer and better.From my email, 25 of our bravest sent a tenant petition copied to the SAAHC Executive Director, and to the SAAHC Asset/Compliance Director. Many more of us did not sign fearing retaliation and they were right. Boy did that backfire on more than one of us; in my case, with a couple trumped-up Lease Violations, followed by a Notice to Vacate, then Eviction papers!Since I pay my rent and get on with the other residents, the manager, Jessica, wrote that I disturbed her and her staff. Going to her office to talk about the 1st violation brought down a 2nd, similar.The case awaits jury trial.Meanwhile, in the online rent payment portal, they tacked on the propertys hefty court filing and attorney fees to this months rent! Which violates not only our lease agreement but also the propertys SAHA contract prohibiting eviction absent a court judgment. I deleted their legal fees and paid the normal rent.

Roaches in my apartment and they never come spray no matter how times I call, I will not be renewing my lease or ever thinking of moving here again. I have never experienced such horrible service. They washers and dryer never work. Plus they the laundry system to an app that won’t be connected for another month so all washers and dryers are out of service for a month, all that and they never even let us know anything. One month after you live here they will raise the price.

Do not waste your time. The only person who is professional is Leticia. Everyone else needs to be replaced. They dont answer the phones. They will take your security deposit and not even start the application process. No one calls to tell you anything. When you do get someone on the line they give several excuses as to why the application hasnt been processed yet. I was told after I called for days and NEVER received an answer, that I had discrepancy in my application that the people in the office HELPED me fill out. And instead of calling me to let me know they kept my money and never told me until it was too late for me to continue on with the process. Im still waiting on my refund for HALF of my security deposit and no one has answered the phone in the office yet. Or responded to ANY of my emails. Ive been all over Google looking for Corport office number or the BBB line. This is ridiculous. I have become homeless due to them being unprofessional and letting me know whats going on with that application process. Its been a week since Ive withdrawn from my application. AND THEY STILL HAVE MY SECURITY DEPOSIT for a unit Ive never seen.

I liked the updates,(photos and descriptions), of the Landing facilities very much! (Although, I would appreciate seeing a photo of the bathroom, as we need a walk in/wheelchair accessible shower and bathroom.) I also was disappointed, after reading the reviews, to find out about the terrible roach problem. I sincerely hope that problem will be cleared up; Because we are seriously looking and in need of a new apartment home! My husband and I are elderly, disabled people. I am in a wheelchair, but still willing and capable of cooking and doing a little housework, even in our tiny, non-wheelchair accessible apartment. My husband is a 17 year veteran of the Marine Corp,(Commander, Force Recon, Special Operations). He joined the San Antonio Police Force as a Federal Marshal, after leaving the Military, and was shot in the line of duty, completely paralyzed for 18 months and had to learn how to talk and walk again. We both need a good, wheelchair accessible apartment;(Even though he is not yet in need of a wheelchair himself). Thank you for honestly sharing both the beautiful updates as well as the negative reviews.

Quite happy with the property. Maintenance requests are normally handled quickly and office staff is very professional. One very large complaint though. The office staff needs to do whatever is necessary to have the office open and available to tenants during the entirety of the posted office hours. On most Saturdays, they close it down at least an hour to two before the posted time.

Jessica, Veronica and Chad are all so very helpful and helped me in my application. Very professional staff. I really wanted to move there but since my unit did not have washer and dryer i was unable to. I have a friend who lives there and never had any problems. Keep up the good work ❤️

Ive lived here 2 years and really dont have any complaints about the property. Its clean and well kept. Any time Ive had an issue management has been nothing but helpful, maintenance comes quick and fixes the problem immediately. I honestly would have stayed here longer but my family has outgrown our current floor plan.

This place is INFESTED with roaches. They all come out at night and you can hear them through the grass & I’m not talking about small ones, they’re Atleast 4-5 inches long.. and come flying at you. I’m only writing this because there’s 1 review on here. I can stand roaches but not how big & bad they are here.
