I love it here! I’ve lived here almost 6 total years. Maintenance is awesome as is the office staff. My family loves the views, the homey hill country fill but right around the corner from everything you could ever need.

It could not be better located, it is amidst lots of shopping, restaurants, and medical offices. The entire staff always greet you with a smile (even my paw) and are very helpful. Maintenance is friendly and quick to respond to any issues or concerns. I completely TRUST the staff, even when I am not there. The grounds and facilities are kept clean, extremely PET FRIENDLY, and safe to walk around. My paw loooooves his walkies. I have loved my time here and will ALWAYS recommend Vista Ridge Apartments.

My wife and I have lived in Vista Ridge Apartment Homes for years. Staff does turn over as in other companies. The good news is the leaving employees and the incoming employees are all professional, customer friendly, service oriented, and effective. The team is precise and responsive. Recently Corey has done maintenance on a water closet and lighting. His service is punctual, friendly, and totally solves the problem. The mail building is getting security upgrades frequently to insure customer protection. The clubhouse, gym, barbecue grills and pool are great stress relievers with opportunities to exercise and make new friends. The maintenance of parking lots and building exterior is outstanding.These apartments can be HOME for a lifetime!

The Staff were great from what I experienced and the location is really good. I just moved from here after living here for 2 years.Pros :-Location, right next to la cantera and the rim-door dash and uber delivered everything-Many walking tails close by-Didnt really have an issue with Noise from other apartments-Never had an issue with trash valetCons:-The carpet-My mail got stolen twice along with many others since the mail room is outside of the gate, nothing was done nor did they reach out to me with next steps on how to secure the mail room or say sorry-They wouldnt fix the swinging doors leading to the bathroom,there was a gap about 3/4th+ of an inch wide so if you were in the bathroom in the master bath someone could definitely see you.-AC was on the older side-Maintenance team is 50/50, Wont fix my blinds or my bathroom door but will leave me like 5 light bulbs outside my door in a amazon box, then another guy a few hours later at will knock on my door with another 5 light bulbs.

Caitlin and other leasing staff were outstanding. We were in SD while getting our new apartment and the process was easy for us. Our friend also lives in these apartments so it makes it even better for us. I am a disabled veteran and am wheelchair bound at times. Caitlin was able to find a 1st floor apartment which met our needs perfectly!

I have overall enjoyed my experience renting at Vista Ridge Apartments. My apartment was impeccable when I moved, and I find everyone to be very friendly, etc. I feel safe in the complex, and also enjoy the various events they host for residents.

Excellent location in a great part of the city! Love the staff and the size of the apartment was good for the price. My only issue is the frequent mailroom break-ins.

We absolutely LOVE Vista Ridge! My now fiancé and I moved in around 3 months ago and we’ve loved it. They have beautiful apartment layouts and are extremely accommodating. I will say if you live towards the back you can hear cars drive by but, other than that it’s amazing. I love how involved the staff is and how inviting everyone is. I can honestly say, you will always feel welcome at The Vista Ridge Apartments.

Moved in a month ago and no complaints. Office staff is friendly and eager to help with any issues or concerns. My move in was fast and easy, I already have enjoyed so many nice festivities management has put together. Great decision to move here!

I lived here for three years and loved it at first, then management changed and the quality of resident’s lives plummeted. I have voiced all the below complaints to staff and not a single one was addressed or fixed. The maintenance team is awesome, but their resources are limited by the office staff. I wouldn’t rent here if Francis Properties is still managing.Pros:• Location is awesome• Cheap for where it isCons:• THE AIR CONDITIONING. Vista Ridge only guarantees to cool your apartment 10 degrees colder than outside. Meaning when it is 105 outside, they don’t care if your apartment is 90. I contacted maintenance multiple times over this and they said the complex is too cheap to upgrade to newer AC models.• Staff WILL nickel and dime you. The online payment portal was down when rent was due, I provided screenshots of their website not working to staff and they still charged me a late fee, claiming that I could have paid with a check, even though I was out of state at the time.• You can hear the highway all day and night.• The mail frequently gets stolen.• Car break-ins are rare, but the complex doesn’t do much to prevent it• The staff changes codes to gates and doesn’t notify residents• The staff focuses more on “community events” than upgrading apartments• Not nearly enough space for pets

We have only been here a few weeks but love it already. Nice and spacious, good quality apartment. The staff is fantastic! Always on top of everything.

We have the best experience ever. The complex is well cared for and the team goes above and beyond. We don’t want to move out of this complex because of how good the overall experience has been for us.

This Apartment complex is great! staff is very friendly and helpful. Randall (the property manager) was a pleasure to talk to and even made a point to ask about the progress on our house which was taking longer than normal to build, which goes the show the kind of culture that the staff has.As far as the apartment complex goes, our apartment was very nice and a good price compared to other apartment complexes in that area. We had a one bedroom apartment (Spirit) which was laid out very well and a great size for my wife and I. My favorite part was the island bar. Apartment was very clean and well maintained when we moved in and every problem we had was fixed by the maintenance crew promptly.All and all we had a great experience and will be recommending to family and friends!

150% better than any other apartment complex Ive ever lived at. Beautiful property, management and staff alike take me seriously no matter what issue I bring to them. Everyone Ive met here is super friendly and awesome. My apartment is super spacious for a great price!Maintenance comes quickly when you have problems, even when they are low priority problems. Staff is very communicative via email and texts to residents, they send updates quite often about what kind of events are going on, when they will be having Food Trucks come by, when gate codes change, and so much more.I seriously couldnt be happier.

So far everything has exceeded our expectations. Super friendly and attentive staff, quick and responsive maintenance guys, quiet building with little noise. Weve only been here a few days but were already very happy!

My boyfriend and I just moved in, but so far we have been very impressed. We looked at 2 bedrooms, and got an amazing deal on one. The leasing staff is very nice and professional, even if you walk in while theyre with someone, they will greet you by smile. Michael helped us through the whole process. The application process is very easy and fast, and move in was easy. Our neighbors are kind and helpful, the amenities are great, and we have a great view. I read some of these reviews before and was hesitant, but I guess if you dont get your way in something, OF COURSE youre going to complain. However, we have none 😁

This place is great! Office staff is super helpful and the maintenance staff are courteous and very knowledgeable. Ive lived here going on 2 years now and have never had a problem... The apartments are very nice from granite counter to high ceilings with crown molding and walk in closets. The rooms are very nice in size and theres lots of storage...I love the pool area. They have lots of pool furniture which was just upgraded and three pools, one of which is a baby pool, which is awesome for my kiddos, and a nice grilling area... Any work orders I have put in are taken care of the same day and if not the maintenance team is sure to notify you when it will be taken care of and why it hasnt been... There is always someone on call and they always call back within a timely manner and will come out in the middle of the night for emergencies...The team really tries hard to put on a resident function once a month and usually has a raffle or some prize for the attending residents. Going to the resident functions I have met a lot of people who have been here for periods of time and I have to say its like a small community. Also Its just outside the city but not even a few minutes away theres lots of department stores and restaurants to go to. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I lived here for about 2 years and we have nothing but great things to say. This is the first apartment that we lived in where we really felt at home. The community is amazing, maintenance is so prompt with all issues and the office staff is beyond helpful. They even take the time to learn your name. No complaints!

So far I really like the property. I moved in just before the new management took over at the end of the summer. From what I can tell the staff seems to be the same and so far everyone Ive dealt with has been nice. The grounds were a little dry and dead when I first moved in but that was the middle of summer and since then Ive seen a bunch of new stuff planted in the front so it looks a lot better when you drive up. They are also starting to paint the outside of the buildings too which looks good so hopefully thats a good sign that theyll continue to take care of the property and the residents.

Lived in a 1-bedroom for a little over a year here and it was fantastic. Great location, friendly staff, the pool was awesome, and the price was very attractive given the area. The interior of the apartment was really nice, especially having granite countertops and a big island. Only moved out because we bought a house, but I would definitely recommend Vista Ridge to anyone looked for an apartment in San Antonio.

The leasing consultants are always pleasant, helpful and willing to help with every aspect of your move. An organization is only as strong as its leader and the Manager at Vista Ridge is Outstanding! This community offers state of the art apartments, summer community cookout/pool parties, a well maintained and hand groomed grounds/pool, prompt repairs and friendly customer service. There are many apartment communities to choose from in San Antonio. This is by far the very best.

I lived at Vista Ridge for a little over 3 years, and had a wonderful experience. The location is great & becoming even better, as more restaurants, bars & shops are coming to this area. The staff is very friendly & has experienced very little turnover over the years, even with the change in ownership. Maintenance always responds quickly to my needs. In regards to the comments below, I never experienced theft or even heard of it in the time I lived there. Maintenance would often enter my apartment when I was not home & I had iPads, expensive handbags, etc. out in the open with no issues. I can confidentally say this is the best experience Ive ever had with an apartment home.

What can you NOT say that is good about Vista? Ommmmwwooord, the list goes on and on. Most impressive community hands down!!! I love this place....so nice, very friendly, and kind staff. I moved to the city in 2017, and when I moved here in June 2017, I just landed a place down the road in the Dominion area. Paid twice as much and had half the experience I have had here hands down with the quality of the unit and location!!My experience at the other place was great, dont get me wrong. However, I think it depends who the person is, and what type of experience they have with their unit.However, I have been blessed. In my 15 month lease, I continued to visit Vista Ridge often, as a non- resident. I called Michael Romano quite often, and always with a smile and a pep in his step, he serviced me.He would answer my questions, guide me in my search, and accommodate me any way he could. I didnt even view my apartment unit, before I leased it online. I saw the price and took the bait. Yet, these staff members truly care and go above and beyond for you, as their resident. There was an incident not too long ago on site, with some stolen tires. I reached out to the office and immediately they reassured me they were on it! You cannot put a price tag on that reassurance and treatment!The maintenance team rocks! They come to check on one thing and will assist with any other! Michael, Jordan and Randall, are really nice, genuine people. I cannot say enough good stuff about this team, this community, etc.YOU cannot go wrong living here. Safe, quiet, conveniently located, and the staff is on top of their game.What more could you ask for?I advise anyone to rent here.....my family included.🙂😊Thank you Vista, keep on keepin on guys!!!

So glad to be out of these apartments. Issues from day one. Dog hair painted into the walls and doorways. Nowhere for kids to play. High utility bills with no reimbursement from management. Used to drive around aimlessly to not go home. My floorplan was the worst too. Ive lived several different places before in different states and these are the worst Ive been in. Great area but spend a few more pennies and go somewhere else.

Best apartments Ive ever lived in. No bug problems, excellent staff, very friendly. Maintenance crew quick to address any maintenance issues (though they were few and far between). Management hosts monthly pool volleyball events over the summer with prizes, and provides food for everyone at the pool. They also have raffles and other meet and greet events.

The apartments are very nice and the amenities are terrific. The managers and staff are well-groomed and extremely courteous! Any maintenance issues Ive ever had have been fixed on the same day! Id highly recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone!

Vista Ridge is an awesome complex and the staff couldn’t be better. The manager Randall is especially great. We just transferred from one unit to another, and he was always there to help us out and answer our questions, and made the process totally easy and seamless.

Vista Ridge is a great place to live, I lived there for a little over 3 years. During this time I had no complaints. The amenities and the location are unmatched by any other apartment in the area. The staff is dedicated to providing the best experience for the residents and does so very well.I recommend Vista Ridge to all prospects from college students and young professionals to families and retired individuals.

I lived in a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom of the the course of 2 years here and I can honestly say you will not find a better apartment in San Antonio, or the state for that matter, for the price. I did have some very minor issues, but that happens when youre renting rather than owning and think things should be done a certain way.Staff - 4.7/5- You probably couldnt find a more knowledgeable staff or friendly staff. That includes everyone from the property manager to the groundskeeper. The only reason I did not give a 5/5 was because I had issues with the move-out process, both times, that I didnt agree with. After sitting down and talking with the staff they saw my side and I saw theirs and we were able to come to a mutual understanding and agreement. As an additional note, I can be particularly difficult to deal with when I feel Im being taken advantage of, but I commend the heck out of this staff for being able to handle it in the professional manner that they did.Location/appearance - 5/5 Located right next to The Rim, La Cantera, 6 Flags, and Top Golf with 2 grocery stores right up the road, this location especially in this area is perfect. My wife and I had everything we needing within a short drive. The property is very well maintained. There are a few times when Pet droppings got a little out of hand, but the office sent out notices and the issues was usually resolved with in a week.Parking - 4/5 I personally didnt have an issue with parking unless it was an over packed Saturday, but I did notice other parts of the property that were limited in available parking. Not a huge issue.Maintenance - 5/5 This really gets a 10 out of 5 because thats how good this maintenance team is. Most of my work orders were fixed within hours, granted 99% of them were simple fixes, but even the big projects took less than a week. Apparently our tub was leaking on to the bathroom below and we didnt realize it. The maintenance team found the problem, resurfaced our tub/shower and patched the hole in the wall in less than 72 hours. I cannot say enough about these guys.Conclusion- You WILL NOT find a better apartment in a better area for a better price than this place, and believe me, I tried. Everywhere else is over priced for the quality and size.

I have lived here for just under a year and I think its a great community. The staff is amazing, especially Micheal, he was a huge help before and after I moved in. They keep the community clean and when you see maintenance out on the grounds they always wave or say hello. The people that work here really make this a great community.

This place is awesome! The office staff is always helpful and can turn a bad day around quickly. Maintenance is super helpful and quick with the turn around of requests. Beautiful place inside and out! Grounds are always clean & pool is beautiful. Wouldnt even bother leasing anywhere else in the area!

I dont recommend living here! My apartment was burglarized/broken into by maintenance! They have access to the copies of the keys and used the key to unlock my door! They let themselves right in! And of course there were no signs of forced entry! The apartment manager wasnt very helpful or understanding. You cant trust maintenance there with your possessions! They also gave me a difficult time when my contract ended and the move out costs were outrageous! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT TO ANYONE!!!!

I love love the staff!!!They are always greeting you and know u by name. They are fast when it comes to any maintenance issues and I have not had any problems with the maintenance staff either. I ran into an issue where I lost my keys to my apt and within 20min, maintenance was able to assist me at 10pm. I would give them more stars if I could!!

Lived here over a month now and Im really impressed. The staff is fantastic. Facilities are great. I had an AC issue and the oncall maintenance guy came over and had it fixed within two hours of me calling. This place blows every other apartment Ive had out of the water.

Moving from Chicago,Let me tell you why you should consider this place to live in,1. Very friendly staff, they help with everything you need2. Superb location, you are two min away from the RIM, and 5 Min away from the La Cantera. As a result, you have most of the services located within 2 Mile radios.3. Getting to/off the Highway fairly easy so you dont have to get stuck in traffic lights4. Very competitive prices, great view for a lot of their units, and big windows with natural lighting.5. I dont see my neighbors, which is bit bad if you are out of town

I have currently lived in the Vista Ridge apartments for 4 months and so far so good. I have had no problems with any of the staff, and everything is well-maintained. The price is very reasonable for this side of town and is very convenient to The Rim and La Cantera.

Love the staff and how eager they always are to help. Sierra was awesome at helping me with my new unit. I love the pool and gym and the accessibility to La Cantera and the Rim. Beautiful views and quiet neighborhood.

Me and my wife were in a tricky situation today. We were helped out by a nice lady in the office. Joanne went above and beyond in helping us resolve our issue and did so with a smile. The type of customer service provided by Joanne can not be expected, nor found, at many other places today. Vista ridge, whatever you are paying Joanne...double it....Anecdotes aside, its this type of employee that distinguishes Vista Ridge apartment homes from all other apartment complexes as the best place to live in san antonio. To anyone looking to rent an apartment in this area look no further. I can not say enough good things about this apartment complex. Ill leave it at that.

This place is great! I have loved living here! The amenities are great, and the leasing agents Michael and Brent make signing a new lease an ease. The whole staff brings a lot of energy to the work place and makes you feel like family!

We are new to the area and these apartments are great! Location is fantastic and the price is great. The apartments are spacious and well kept. The grounds are well kept and allow for great walks with our dog. Highly recommend!

Im only leaving 1 star because the employees there were nice during the process but overall do not lease here unless you wanna lose your money. They go based off of a risk score which they tell you is based off of credit score and then turns out its based on whole credit but debt to income is a huge factor. I applied for myself and tried to use both my father (who makes 6 figures a year) and my brother (whos credit score is near the 700s) both got denied because it didnt meet the risk score. I have student debt. Of course my debt to income is high. I pay my bills on time and was even willing to put in any amount of deposit. Applied elsewhere with absolutely no issues. What a waste of time and money. And absolute insult when my credit is 620 and I have excellent rental history. I will definitely be deterring anyone who attempts to rent here.

Nothing but praises!!!!!!!ive lived at several other communities in this area and this one by far has blown me away when it comes to customer service! The maintenance people are always on time and professional when helping you with any problem! When it comes to the office staff Michael and Brent always go above and beyond good customer service! Example: completely forgot today was the third its closing time and Michael was willing to stay an extra couple minutes so I can turn in my rent. Something as small as that makes a big difference and these guys make sure to take care of not only the little things but big as well! These are not just words Im typing by great experiences I have witnessed.

We just moved in, but we’ve had a pleasant experience so far. Staff is responsive and helpful! The only issue we’ve come across is our neighbors tv placement… we can hear it through our wall pretty well.

The apartments and pool are very nice. However, promises by office personnel (specifically managers) were made and never kept. They have a bad habit of telling you one thing and not following through with it. When you bring it to their attention, they make up an excuse and tell you someone made a mistake and don’t do anything to make there mistake right…. Especially when it deals with money.

I work as a maintenance supervisor at another complex in San Antonio, I stopped by here to pick up my kiddos and I have to say I was very impressed with this property, all the lights were in working condition and the grounds were in great shape. Great job guys! Sorry I can’t say anything about office, I did not have any interaction.

This complex is very nice. Well maintained, the units are really cute. The only reason I did not move here is because I do not like carpet. other than that this is a wonderful community. The front office staff is incredible.

Im absolutely agree with Valerie Lozano!You DONT ever think that because this apartment is close to at The Rim Shopping Mall, IH-10, Six Flags and Cantera is the BEST and WORTH IT!!!My apartment was also burglarized/break into by the maintenance guys. They did break in breaking my living room window and they stolen my belognings with an estimate value of $8,000.The incompetent and lack of skills manager Jill she knows exactly whats going on and also let the apartments maintenance to get in, knowing that you cant TRESPASS a crime scene until the police and investigators leave the apartment premises.Theyre pretending get from my pocket the money that they need to remodel their apartments and Im pretty sure that is what the were trying to do with Valerie Lozano, when trying to increment the move out expenses.The day of the break in/burglary, I found out my apartment was vandalized and burglarized 3 TIMES already, before I moved-in!!!!!Yes, WHATTTTTT????...WHO cares? No one tell you shittt!!! They just do their marketing and paint the scene like it so pretty, luxury and secure!!!Ahhhh! let me dont forget to tell you that I was force to pay monthly a Valet trash, when no one came to pick my trash for over 6 months!!!! Ahhhhh!!!!They just want your money!!!! for nothing!!!!!!And then now, pretending from my to pay from my pocket what their maintenance people vandalized, burglarized and broke into???????You can Kiss the most precious buttt that I have!!!!Starting by Jill and Randall and the rest of incompetent crew pretending to have a luxury look and they aint shittttt!!!!!DONT your ever rent from this people...because in the long way, you will remember about this review and you will regreting for the rest of you life....and if you do!!! Make sure to have a super insurance to recover everything that the maitenance guys will plan to stolen from your apartment!!! and dont ever ask to your neighboors if anyone heard anything...because they also have the SILENCE law...no one saw and no one heard anything!!!REALLY and absolutely shitty place to leave when you have a high social level in this city!!!

Been here 3 years and we love it! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great neighbors and neighborhood. Our favorite things about this place is the location and the views.

We moved to the Vista Ridge Community in May 2020. Since moving here I must admit I am very satisfied with the Vista Ridge Community. From the staff to the residents, everything has exceeded my expectations.

Ive been here for 4 years, and I love this space! Great space and floorplans, quality build, and excellent location. The management team have been extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.

I just moved in & Chris was such a huge help during the process. The apartment was very clean when I moved in & I have not had any issues with parking at all.

If they do not insure the lives of clients so that they live in hell, that is wasting money, because millionaires do not live there, because they are treated worse than animals, do not live there, money and human life are worth the same whether they are rich or not. Poor thing, if they dont understand it, what a shame, thats why the death penalty exists in TX, because there are many people who dont understand that.
