Ive been living at Agave Apartments in San Antonio for three years, and its been a great experience. The location is prime in Southtown with a perfect pedestrian-friendly score. Recently upgraded amenities include the pool, grilling areas, and club house. However, the best part is the staff. Lana, Charlie, and especially Tony, the leasing manager, have been exceptional. Tony has supported me since my first lease, always responsive and even sharing great guitar chats. If youre searching for a new home, Agave is unbeatable. Here is a view from the rooftop grilling area.

Came by for a tour of Agave and had the best experience. We met with Tony in the front office who showed us around. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and showed us around the beautiful community. The gym and rooftop were our favorite amenities.Unfortunately we’re not looking to move until August but we definitely have Agave at the top of our list when were ready.

***BEWARE*** Update belowI lived at Agave for four years, and I have some serious concerns to share.First and foremost, I never received my security deposit back. They went as far as to create a lackluster “invoice” claiming it was deposited, but it lacked any definable information and reflected an incorrect amount—it looked like something a child created in excel. A simple search through their email would have revealed that they emailed me my final account statement after the date listed on the “invoice,” which they sent months later. As of now, I still have not received my security deposit, and I moved out in July. Agave and their management have been giving me the runaround for months, and I believe potential tenants should be cautious.Additionally, the elevators were unreliable and broken most of the time. This was a significant inconvenience, and extremely dangerous for those who cannot use stairs, not to mention a safety issue. The area always has ongoing construction and traffic issues that have worsened since COVID. While the location is decent, the surrounding congestion can be quite frustrating.I also encountered pest problems, including cockroaches, which is not ideal for any living situation, especially for those who are paying for pest control services each month. If you call maintenance about it, they will not take action unless they see any critters during their inspection.DO NOT MOVE HERE. There are many good apartments along the riverwalk, so be cautious and do your research.Update: It has been over a month, and I have not received any phone calls or communication regarding this matter. Standards sound great but mean nothing if the company does not follow them.

We have been living at the Agave for over a year now and could not be more happy! The location and ability to walk to bars, restaurants, and hemisphere park is incredible! Tony (who works the front office) is welcoming and happy to help whenever there is a need. Our maintenance is the best I have ever experienced, whenever I have needed to put in a work order they come the same day, and get the situation fixed asap. I plan on continuing to live here for the forseeable future.

I visited these apartments with a friend last year when she was staying at one of the Airbnb’s. I remember the staff being very helpful so I visited a few weeks ago as I am getting ready to move to San Antonio this summer. The location is perfect and love that the River Walk is steps away. The young man named Tony, i believe, was very helpful in showing us everything close and around the property. He assured us that we were making the right decision to live downtown.

The building is also quiet, and I do not hear my neighbors. The building is in a prime location and walkable to many restaurants and the river. Lastly, Ive had positive experiences with management. DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU HAVE DOGS!!I moved here in July and my experience has been mixed to say the least.Cons:- The dog run is HORRIBLE. There is so much poop everywhere, it is absolutely disgusting. The residents never pick up their dog’s poop, and the staff does nothing to enforce it. My dog just recently got worms because of how poorly maintained the dog run is. Apparently picking up your dog’s poop is optional here.- The main elevator is always malfunctioning (at least twice a month), which is very inconvenient for those with dogs and shopping carts. However, it is usually fixed within 24 hrs.- Parking garage sucks. It is really small and inconvenient, but we didn’t realize until we moved in.- The gym water fountain has needed its filter replaced for at least two months now, and it has yet to be replaced (Nov 2024 - Jan 2025; we will see if they change the filter).- The kitchen in the clubhouse has been under construction since late November/early December, yet has not been completed. This was the message that was sent out in Nov 29, 2024: “Next week we will also be closing the clubhouse as that remodeling will take place. We anticipate it will only be a week but will keep everyone updated as the project progresses.” I am convinced that the community kitchen will never be completed. It is very inconvenient because many of us residents would utilize the community kitchen.- This is less about the apartment complex as a whole, but do NOT get a room that is facing Cesar E Chavez Blvd. The vehicles are SO LOUD, it will definitely keep you up at night when you first move in.- They have worked on the pipes at least twice in the past 2 months, which requires the water to be shut off for at least 8 hours (it is very inconvenient)!- The clubhouse is meant to be an amenity, but there is a constant beeping coming from the storage closet which makes it impossible to have people there.- The rooftop (8th floor) is very dimly lit and the outlets there do not work. There are bathrooms next to the rooftop, but they are always locked so people have to go to the bathroom on the 1st floor which is very inconvenient.Pros:- Nice location downtown and to river walk- Close proximity to H-E-B- Very well equipped gym- Nice layouts for apartment- Amazing staff (shoutout to Sharlene & Tony!)- The apartments are very quiet. It is very difficult to hear your next door neighbors (but sometimes I can hear my upstairs neighbor stomp). In conclusion, this place isn’t bad as long as you DON’T have a dog. We still have another 7 months to go before our lease ends, but I am actively looking for new apartments and look forward to leaving. That being said, I will be very sad to leave this gym behind.

More like a 4.5 star if i could. been living here for 3+ years. amazing location, gym is great, nice pool, maintenance is quick and efficient (shoutout to JOE specifically you are awesome) biggest inconvenience has been the elevator being shut down BUT i will say ever since they switched to a different elevator service company it has been MUCH less of an issue, so that has much improved. also i live on the first floor so it’s not as much of an issue for me if i can get to park on the first floor. speaking of which, covered garage parking is neat, ofc the caveat is it’s first come first serve for first floor parking. don’t have a bug problem, the occasional beetle or roach sneaks in (from the patio, maybe?) but that’s the extent of what i’ve experienced. soft water system is amazing to have will never take it for granted. don’t have an issue with noise from other units, usually. have gotten used to the cars and people walking outside. usually kept pretty clean, i get my packages. the weekly food trucks are cool. the coffee in the club room is genuinely very good too. rooftop patio/deck is really awesome and you get such a nice view of the city. cool place, very much enjoy living here

I lived at the Agave for four years. I wish I could say it lives up to its billing as luxury apartment...but my honest review is mixed.1. Location - The Agave has a fantastic location right between Southtown and downtown and on the Riverwalk. There is such easy access to bars, food, and entertainment. I love going on a run on the Riverwalk toward the Missions or Blue Star in the morning or going to Southtown for dinner and taking a walk through King William in the evening. The neighborhood has really been opening more new businesses ever since Covid which has been great to see the area becoming more lively.2. Apartment - The apartment itself that I lived in was spacious and the finishings and appliances were good quality. I appreciate that important quality of life appliances like the stove, refrigerator, in-unit washing machine, and so on were not constantly breaking. The modern finishings like the updated quartz countertops and wood cabinetry make it so that you can decorate and make the apartment look quite nice! And if you get a unit with a garden tub, enjoy it! Now thats luxury. However, you do get what you pay for and this is not one of the cheapest options in SA.3. Construction - Unfortunately for the past two years heavy construction has been in progress on Cesar Chavez on BOTH sides of the Agave, restricting traffic both by car on the main artery to the highway and tearing up the sidewalks making it hard to walk on foot. I know this is temporary, but it was a big enough problem that especially during rush hour it can increase your total drive time by up to 10 minutes. Be warned.4. Pool and Rooftop - Agave has gorgeous amenities, I only wish the pool werent so loud on the weekends. It is a very impressive pool though, and they keep it open all year. Using the grill is fun, unfortunately, often out of the three total grills 1-2 of them will be broken at any one time.5. Elevator - This has gone on for so long its a joke. One or both elevators were broken for most of two years. You better hope you dont have disabilities to live here, or have to move heavy things. I feel terrible for those who need to access upper floors, as its no joke carrying things up eight floors in those narrow, dirty stairwells without an elevator.6. Garage - Parking is a pain. Plus, they really will tow you if your parking tag expires. I have had some items stolen out of my car while in the Agave garage. Both my and my partners locked bicycles were also stolen out of the garages bike room. In total it was roughly $1000 worth of property crime. You also have to be careful in the garage as some people take the corners very fast. More recently Agaves been trying to squeeze more money out of us by adding new paid parking space reservations.7. Public Area Cleanliness - For some mysterious reason, the front office area is always scrupulously clean. I definitely see a lady cleaning it every single morning. Yet the concrete hallways and staircases are quite unappealing, with stains and dust balls everywhere, even some trash on the stairwells. Even when they do the annual cleaning it doesnt do anything to the stains it just clears the dust. The worst part is the dead cockroaches, especially on the first floor, which just stay there for weeks or months on end.7. Maintenance - The apartment maintenance team is a shining ray of sunshine in this place, Jose in particular. They are incredibly on top of their work and Ive never had to wait more than 24 hours for something to be fixed. The maintenance team is so kind, helpful, professional, and capable. These people are worth their weight in gold.8. Front office service - Well...there are some quite nice people and a few front office staff who seem to hate people so much I wonder why they are in a service industry job. I also dont appreciate how disingenuous management can sometimes be, taking down complaints so they can shape the narrative.Overall the Agave has a mix of positives built in to the building, but negatives from experiences living there for several years.

She made me feel right at home and I instantly knew that this place would be my home. I think she was one of the main reasons why I chose to live here. She was kind, knowledgable, relatable and very welcoming. One of the biggest reasons why I would choose to live anywhere depends largely on the leasing staff. Review №36

I would recommend to stay far away from this place. I lived here for about 20 months, and there were so many issues. Ive lived in probably 6-8 different rental properties throughout my life, and this was by far the worst experience.1) Of the ~20 months I was there, the main elevator was down at least 50% of the time. Possibly even longer. Yes, there is another elevator, but it is much smaller and it broke at times too. Considering there are a few elderly people who live here, Im not sure how its not an ADA violation that at times theyve had 0 working elevators. And of course, the weekend I was set to move out, the main elevator was broken making it extremely difficult to move from the third floor.2) Constant car break-ins, of which the property denies any responsibility and will not do anything more than hiring a security service that checks on the garage a few times a night. Doesnt prevent break-ins at all. I even had a Vespa that was stolen from the garage. When I told the complex, they didnt give a flip.3) Thieves have a copy of the mailbox key and steal peoples mail. This is insane. Ive never heard of this happening at any other property.4) Agave/Greystar use RealPage for rent control. For those unaware about RealPage, Google it. They basically conspire with other complexes throughout the city to price-fix rents throughout the city. They WILL raise your rent every year, by 5-10%, no matter whether the rental market is going down in price or not. Before moving out, Agave wanted to raise my rent 5% off of an already-too-high 2022 market price. After I put in my move out notice, they were renting my unit out for $400 less than what they wanted me to renew for. They offer no breaks for having lived there for a while, and they take advantage of the hassle of moving to always increase your rent.5) Complex-wide fire alarms going off at 3 AM and continuing to go off for a good 30 minutes before someone is able to shut them off.6) Halls and stairwells are filthy. They claim once a year that someone is coming by to clean all the hallways. I never saw them and the hallway never looked any cleaner.7) If you live on the Cesar Chavez side of the complex, get ready for a good amount of street noise and people revving their muscle car engines all hours of the night. Ive lived on noisy streets in Brooklyn, and this was louder.8) Constant construction. Not an Agave problem, but a downtown San Antonio problem. Construction that lasts for at least 2 years.Im sure theres much more, but when a property has so many problems, it becomes hard to even keep track of all the things that irritated you.

Not only do we get together regularly in San Antonio, we also travel extensively with these friends.Beyond the location and the social life, the service we are provided by Nicole and her team is consistently outstanding. Due to the nature of my employment my lease renewals require extra administration from the office and this has never been a problem. Maintenance is included in the rent and all of our maintenance requests have been fulfilled quickly and professionally.Yes - there are regular problems with the elevators. I have been shopping apartments on the NE side of town for my next move and reading all the reviews for those places, and it really made me stop to think how fortunate Ive been at Agave! Yes, the stairwells here can get kind of grody with dog hair. Yes, the big elevator goes out of service sometimes. BUT look at all the amazing things! (A) I have never seen a single cockroach or any other pest in my apartment, and Ive lived here over a year. Thats a big one for me. (B) My central air and heat have worked perfectly the whole time. I also have insanely low electric bills, usually in the sub-$50/range per month. We have Nest apps here, and that probably helps. (C) My in-unit washer & dryer have worked perfectly the whole time. (D) My apartment was clean when I moved in. (E) I live on the South Saint Marys side of the building and, while there is ambient urban noise outside, you get use to it quickly. Do you know who I dont hear? My neighbors. I think the walls are pretty thick here, which is amazing. (F) Facing Saint Marys means that I have morning sun in the summer, and my apartment is in full shade in the afternoon. That helps keep my electric bill down. I will admit Im a little jealous because the Caesar Chavez side of the building gets a lot of direct sun during the winter and my balcony gets practically none. (G) Packages arent a problem because Agave uses a third-party service called Fetch. (H) Maintenance is friendly and fast. (I) The office people have been nice to me. I honestly havent even had to deal with them a lot. (J) The location is perfect for walking basically anywhere in downtown / Hemisfair / King William / Southtown. Also, youre right on the river for more walks & cardio. To be fair, I havent had a car the whole time Ive lived here, so I cant report about the parking garage. But... I think thats it. Im going to miss living here!

I had a tour on Saturday Feb. 24th around 4:00pm. I wanted to tour these apartments because of the great location and the $1,600-$1,800 two bedroom options I saw online. My boyfriend is relocating and I toured so I toured with my family. We started off with her (Lana) very grumpily asking for our IDs, which I have no problem with! I made sure everyone brought theirs and it is standard with all complexs. She then started quoting 2 bedrooms $2,100+. I am a pretty shy person and at this point I was nervous to ask questions because everyone in my family could tell she has some problem with us. Every time she spoke she didnt look at us and just said things in a mean way. My dad spoke up and asked about the cheaper options online. She had told us the one in the $1,600s was an ADA unit and moved on. So again he asked about the $1,700s option and she rolled her eyes and turned the screen around again and said oh yeah well its this one. She turned it back towards he obviously annoyed with us at this point and asked very sassy what exactly are you trying to get out of this... to preface I told her that we were ready to move in two weeks and we both have great jobs and are over qualified, we also are asking very good questions like we are very interested, but shes treating us like we are wasting her time. At this point Im like I just want to see the amenities and a few units to make my decision. She rolls her eyes again and asks what units, Im frustrated so I say I dont care just please show me something. She gets up tells and tells us to go to the club house and wait for her while she gets keys.We start the tour and she just walks us through the club house making minimal remarks. We get to the pool and she asks do you want to go look? yes.... we stand outside the gym and she asks do you need to look in the gym? like yes.... back in the hallway she asks if we want to look at the dog park finally I say no because I dont have a dog lol but afterwards online I found out thats where the river access is! She takes us to the broken elevator then asks us to walk the stairs to the 3rd floor which isnt a problem were all fit. We walk the stairs and wait in the trash room for her to get there too. She shows us a 1x1 and just stands at the door and only says something if we ask. Then she walks us to the 2x2 (the largest one out of our price range, my fault for not pushing for the one I wanted to see) again stands at the door. Shes pretty much silent on our walks and in the unit so my mom keeps trying to make conversation with her and mentions my sister came because she is looking to move in August, she makes a remark about how fun it must be to go on tours just for fun. My sister will sign anywhere I do so her rude remark and being rude to my family the whole tour was not helping her. Finally we start heading back to the office or so I thought. She walks us down some stairs finally conversing about a restaurant we both like in the area and then we pop out in the front parking lot. I tell her were making a decision within the week and she tells me I can keep looking at pricing online and to call if I have questions and then just said BYE in the parking lot.I am a real estate agent and I have a prior 2 year background in luxury rentals. If you want to look at condos and avoid the rude apartment sales agents look me up!Edit: I spoke with Nicole the manager here and she was great. She understood my perception of the situation and discussed with the Lana. I hope someone else has a great experience here in the future the apartments were nice especially for the price. I will leave my experience up but I am willing to upgrade my star review.

Honestly the best spot to live in downtown SA. It feels like living at a resort, right on the river (great for daily walks), walking distance to restaurants, bars, hotspots, HEB, etc. the amenities and facilities are well maintained and cared for — the maintenance people are quick to respond (within the day) and are friendly. Rooftop views are amazing. Workout room has floor to ceiling windows (lots of natural light!) and has a wonderful view of the pool area; the community room / kitchen is clean and well-kept. The only con is that the main elevator was out of service for a while but I never used the elevators so it wasnt a personal annoyance though I empathize with folks who may have had to rely on it. Very pet-friendly. There’s also a quiet and clean meeting room open during business hours and the free coffee machine is well-stocked. I would 100% recommend looking at this complex if you want to live downtown! I looked at a handful of different properties before coming here and it was the best decision for my quality of life!

We were arriving with the moving truck on a Sunday morning before the office was open so he arranged for a friend of mine to come pick up our keys. He even put our internet equipment in the apartment so it would be here when we arrived. The apartment itself is beautiful and well maintained. The worst living experience of my life. Just stay out of these people. Management is very unprofessional. When we moved in the apartment was total mess. It was dirty and stinky. We asked to clean it up. They scheduled a cleaning after two days. By then we already had cleaned everything up. We wanted to break the lease but there is TWO MONTHS RENT lease breaking fee. There is only one elevator for the WHOLE apartment complex around 300 apartments. Yes, only ONE. If you are somehow in need of an elevator— good luck. I can’t even count how many times the shower and kitchen sink gave us a headache. And the price they are asking for this level of service is unacceptable. If there was a negative star review they would definitely have gotten one from me.

Not only is the new Assistant Manager, Michael, completely disrespectful and condescending but there are so many things wrong with this place. This apartment started off well but slowly its falling apart. The main elevator has been broken (good luck moving in or out), the secondary elevator is on the other side of the building (for me) and tiny so you cant use it to move large items to higher floors. Recently Agave decided not to renew their contract with Amazon and the locker that held our deliveries was removed from the building. We now have to ship our items to a different address and then coordinate a separate delivery to my door. This is absurd. Since the elevator doesnt work, my grocery deliveries are a nightmare. Delivery drivers can no longer easily reach a higher floors (there is suppose to be a code to let them open the garage but it never works according to the delivery drivers). The delivery drivers dont want to haul groceries up the stairs (which I completely understand). When the elevator worked they would make it up to a higher floor and I would meet them at the door. Two things have happened with the broken elevator: 1. The driver claims its undeliverable and leaves (no groceries for me), or 2. Leaves all of the groceries in the open downstairs and now I have to haul it up the stairs myself (better than no groceries, but not ideal). Management says they are trying to fix it but its been broken for a year now. Trash pickup service sometimes doesnt pickup my trash even though I had it out in time and to the exact specifications listed (otherwise they wont pick it up). Management listened and said we had justification to break our lease without any penalty and when we found somewhere else to move, we asked how to get the paperwork done and they took it back. We now had to pay a break lease fee and needed to give 60 days notice. Will not be renewing my lease and good luck to me as I try to move all my stuff down the stairs ...

One extra star for the great location. Management is unresponsive after you move in, and rather unhelpful in most situations. It’s clear they just don’t care about the community anymore. The buildings are dirty, no one enforces community rules, and guest take up all the regular parking spots in the garage. The elevators are often broke and stay broken for weeks at a time. There are regular thefts, whether that be packages, bikes, or vehicles, and management is entirely apathetic to this reality. Ha, The cushions to the chairs hanging by the river walk have been missing cushions for like a year now. All of these issues have been conveyed to management multiple times with absolutely no response. At least the area is nice.

The bad: the restrooms near the pool downstairs are not well kept or stocked; there is only one elevator available for the whole building and it can be unreliable; and the gym doesnt ever seem to have any towels. These are minor things but they were advertised as something the property offered so I expect them to be available. Side note, they are renovating the wing which had a fire and it has an elevator that we cant use yet. Hopefully that will be done soon but until then - 1 elevator on the opposite side of the building. Also if you have a bulky trash item you are on your own since the valet service wont take it...I know, its a total first world problem.

I lived at Agave Apartments for one year in an A1 and it was GREAT.The location cant be beat - within walking distance to Southtowns best bars and restaurants, Hemisfair, the Alamo, Rivercenter Mall and more. Plus, the complex is nestled in the best part of the Riverwalk - within the King William District. Its perfect for walking, running and cycling. The apartment itself and the complex amenities are also top-notch. Each apartment is outfitted with beautiful flooring, new carpet, stainless steel appliances and a patio. The pool, club room and rooftop grill are great. The gym, however, is pretty small.Additionally, the community itself is great. Theres a lot of empty nesters, young professionals and a few students. Its mostly quiet and very welcoming. The apartment management is also very professional and courteous. Ive never had an issue with being gouged for prices or having a maintenance request lag.The downsides -Rent is going up. We were priced out when we wanted to upgrade to a two bedroom.Parking is somewhat difficult. Theres no shortage of parking, but you may not find a spot on your floor because you have to pay for a dedicated spot. The exterior hallways and elevators are not air conditioned. It didnt deter me, but it certainly wasnt the best in San Antonios summers.Overall, I would still highly recommend Agave to anyone! The complexes next door (Encore, The 68) will be more expensive. The apartments further south (Southtown Flats, Cevallos Lofts) will be cheaper, but they will have a different crowd and inferior location.

I stopped by this apartment complex today at noon. Im new to San Antonio, relocating from Alabama. I went into the leasing office with my brother, there was no one at the desk. A young lady walked out of an office and asked me if she could help me with something. I asked her if they had any move in specials currently for a mid June/ early July move in. She pulled out a floor plan and pointed to an apartment and told me it was $200 off the first month and just stared at me from that point. Then she wrote the price down as if I was gonna be turned off by the price. I didnt care about the money. I cared about the service and wanted to see the place. I was not shown any apartments, didnt get a tour of the grounds, wasnt asked for any of my information or anything. She didnt even tell me her name. I was highly upset and felt like I was stereotyped or something. I left wondering if every other apartment complex would treat me the same way. Its safe to say I went to see several other locations and I was treated fairly and with respect. I think its very distasteful to be rude to possible future residents. The least she could have done was ask me some questions of any sorts to get a feel of who I was and what I was looking for. I will definitely be looking into contacting the corporate office. This was by far the worst experience I ever had with looking for an apartment.

Not only is Agave right on the river, but you can also take a short walk one way towards the hustle and bustle of downtown, and the other way is the fun and artsy Southtown area. If you walk to Southtown, please take the way through the Historic King William district! The apartments themselves are beautiful, with stainless appliances and quartz countertops. There is a massive clubhouse near the leasing office with several huge televisions and a free coffee machine! There is a beautiful infinity pool (which is always spotless) and a gym with a separate yoga room that overlooks the pool. Very responsive maintenance staff often showing up same day. Fun location for hosting out of town friends and family. Generally good build quality. Nice appliances. And great water pressure for the showers.BUT, if you are considering leasing here, here are some things to keep in mind which might not be evident during their guided tour:The dog run is one of the most disgusting spaces like it of any apartment Ive been to. There is a sprinkler system which is meant to clean it which clearly isnt working out. Maybe they could run it more often? The adjacent garage and mail area smells like sick animals. Surely the staff is aware. Id have suggested it if the management staff was approachable or if their maintenance request system had anywhere to put suggestions of its kind. It is often filled with trash, presumably dropped or blown down from the garage levels or patio area above. Think cigarette butts, chipbags, and sharp plastic cups.Disabled accessibility: There are two elevators, the operational one has been broken at least once a month during the time I lived there, sometimes for multiple days. The other has been going to be made available within the month according to staff for at least the last 3 months. Rough going for someone with an injured dog. I cant imagine how frustrating it must be for anyone wheelchair bound or with general movement issues. Must be a nightmare for anyone who loses the game of chance and has to move in or out while this is down. The balcony doors were either installed poorly or of cheap quality. There are visible lines of light around the edges and the master bedroom is uncomfortably hot in summer and noticeably colder than the rest of the apartment in winter. When it is windy, better lock all the doors or theyll fly open from the draft. The response by staff was to apply an ineffective brush door sweep to the bottom. No way to buzz people in. Having friends over? They can get out of their car, walk to a keypad, and call your phone which you can dial a code into to open the gate, they then drive around in circles until they reach the top two floors, park, get into the elevator down to whichever floor you live on, where you will need to walk to to meet them. Probably fine for those who live in the apartments near the elevator, but that isnt most of them. Must be super frustrating for anyone trying to deliver food.No clear method for recycling, or cardboard box disposal. The trash chute makes the entire elevator area smell like wet garbage and isnt even accessible on the first floor. The valet trash service means that you have to store their ugly branded and cheap quality trash cans somewhere to use for setting out the trash. If you fail to use said branded trash can, you will be told that you may be fined and or blamed for mystery stains on the cement in the hallways which were there before you moved in. (which I am genuinely worried will actually happen when they see this review)The pool area is in shade by 5pm during the height of summer, a bummer if you want to relax in the sun by the pool after a day in the office. And the ground around the pool is painted dark gray, the kind of dark color that spends all day heating up to a foot blistering temperature in the Texas sun. Really odd design decisions. The freezer in the apartment opens up into a counter, meaning that removing or returning anything to it becomes a frustrating game of Tetris. No cameras in the garage means that if one of the giant pickup trucks some residents think are necessary for downtown living, or if any of the construction vehicles clips your parked car, youre pretty much SOL finding who did it. Building management wont offer assistanceManagement staff give off a perception that you are irrelevant as soon as you are a resident. All in all it is honestly a nice place to live, but for the price you are paying to live here and the fact the place is so new, Id just expect more.

Ive been cleaning the apartment of 2 residents for several months and EVERY time I walk in the management is rude beyond words. On several occasions Ive been given the runaround (which is more than a notion as the property is like a maze), been given the wrong key to the apartment and had to go all the way back to the office to get the right one, been denied access due to a forgotten fob in another unit - she closed the door right in my face when she could have just let me back in so that I could finish my job (they were in possession of my drivers license and have seen me every other week for the last 6 months), and numerous other slights on this side of passive aggressive. I dont know if its because Im simply the help, racial discrimination or simple minded hatred. Whatever the case, I have 2 clients in this building that like our service but I likely wont be allowed back since I finally lost my temper today. Beautiful property, horrible on site property management. Its written all over Google, so this is clearly nothing new. The entire property management staff needs a refresher course in courtesy and kindness!

Slimy apartment complex. When you walk into the leasing office for help or if you have a question, you immediately sense how much the ladies at the front desk hate their jobs. Yikes. Horrible customer service, you’ll be barked at and berated by the Karen(s) working there. Don’t expect them to help you, and keep those expectations low.On parking, there is zero information for how guests are supposed to park, which results in them towing guests cars. The illegal part is the fact that their single tow sign in the 8 story garage is out of date and doesn’t have the correct information on how to recover your vehicle. Spent an hour with the non-emergency police line trying to find out who even took the car, let alone how to get the mystery towing company’s contact info.

In the short time Ive known someone to that has lived here its been situation after situation... Ill weigh out the pros and cons.Pros:- excellent location in terms of things to do since youre so close to the Riverwalk- nice amenities between the tiny gym, and small pool- nice rooftop patio area- units themselves are tastefully constructedCons:- price for what you actually get are pretty bad- elevator rarely stays operational (either one, it seems like its at least once every other week that one of the elevators is down)- maintenance staff arent too friendly (theyll blame you for things instead of the construction or workmanship of what they are called to fix)- parking is horrible unless you pay extra money for a reserved spot- the parking structure itself is poorly maintained (the gate has been broken SO many times- the company claims NO responsibility for what happens to your car or the contents of your car while parked on THEIR parking structure- on the topic of psrking, if you have guests... They MUST park on the 8th floor which is the VERY top.of the structure, or they WILL be towed by a company that is able to come in as they please.- the mail delivery system is flawed, packages will come late or not come.at all sometimes. Its happened with Amazon items, USPS, FedEx, AND UPS- the dog run is DISGUSTING, its made of AstroTurf and soaks up urine and fecal matter left by dogs and smells to high heaven (ESPECIALLY in the Texas heat)- parking spots in front of the leasing office have now turned into pay-to-park locationsIn the short time my friend has lived here; her car was broken into around Christmas, and when brought up, we discovered there is only ONE camera that monitors the entry/exit of the parking structure, a HOMELESS person barricaded themself in the rooftop patio bathroom (he was able to get up there because once again, the gate to the parking structure was broken), and multiple people had decor taken from doorways. I wont get started on the garbage situation, but in short; the garbage is usually backed up or clogged. In a funnier side not; theres an early 2000s Toyota Camry that hasnt moved once since Ive been visiting my friend here, yet MY car got towed as the result of a personal complaint. This place deserves every bit of ONE STAR for a rating.

Do NOT move to these apartments. I just moved here and my vehicle was stolen directly from attached parking garage. Filed police report and leasing office keeps giving me the run around saying they have not yet reviewed surveillance cameras to assist with investigation. You would think if one of their resident’s vehicle was stolen from premises they would be a little more punctual with providing evidence. Makes me wonder if they are trying to hide something and set me up from the beginning

When I sent my Truck for repair and went apartment with a rental car, it was towed and cost $220 to get back. To use parking lot, vehicle must be registered and if you forget, it will be towed without any warning. I tried to register rental car and at that time, I was informed vehicle will not be towed if parked on 8th floor. I parked on 8th floor for one week and experienced elevator not working twice.

No pet deposit. Lie. 1 area online says theres a $400 pet fee, the other says a non-refundable pet fee of $500. Either way its a pet deposit. Theyre saying its not a pet deposit because all of it is non refundable whereas typically part of it is refundable. Theyre trying to put a positive spin on it by saying it is not a pet deposit when in fact a pet deposit is a better situation than a pet fee; So youre a tiny Chihuahua who might have one accident in a year will cost the same as a Great Dane that has a few accidents a year. Instead of getting part of your pet fee / deposit back.I cant respect a company that b u l l s h i t s with semantics like this.

I went to see the apartments thinking of leasing, asked to see the cheap ones, granted not on Cesar Chavez but looking out on S. St Marys cheapest was $1485.With a river view $1825 for under 800 sqft. They come with large side by side W/D which takes a lot of room. There is very little closet space very little so as the agent said you have to be creative! Bedroom is carpeted. Kitchen so so. Overall it seems very expensive for what you get.
