I ended up living here for two years and heres my truthful story. Some positives but at the end of the day NOT worth it. Please take the time to read this review if youre considering moving here. (Attached our photos of a apartment you should actually consider and not the Haven)1.) For one, the dog park is filthy and flea infested. By the end of my time here, I had over 30 bites on my legs, having a high energy dog (who luckily was on flea medication) there wasnt much I could do but deal with it. Dog park is just absolutely disgusting. Poop everywhere, leaves all over so you dont even know youre stepping in feces, and again, horrible flea infestation.2.) My second issue was my mistake of not properly looking over my documents when moving in. I had payed about $800 in fees and also about $2,000 worth of other deposits which I assumed my whole time staying here was refundable, so I thought- no big deal. When moving out they wanted to charge me for a full replacement of the bathroom vanity, hardwood floors and carpet. All of which I understood besides the full vanity replacement. As these apartments were built in 2009 with absolutely ZERO renovations to them, I was pretty surprised they didnt see any room in re-discussing the charge for the vanity. I then asked if the almost 3 grand I payed up front would go towards my move out damages, but then sadly found out that these were all fees and non-refundable deposits.3.) If you have kids this really isnt a bad place to live, but if youre a bachelor looking for a quiet place. This isnt the apartment for you. Kids are constantly loud and running around unsupervised. Pool gets crowded quick with ghetto music loudly playing constantly and no regard from the office or maybe having a security officer to check if theyre actually residents or not. If its not the loud partying, then its the families with 1-5 kids taking up the entire pool all day, not a fun place to hang out unless you also have children or are ready to party and get drunk as well.4.)The smell of WEED!! Not to mention the multiple times people were smoking weed outside on the rocks or walking by buildings that just reeked like smoke from pot.5.) If youre an avid gym goer and want to get a quick workout in, good luck doing it at this place. The gym is so poorly updated and honestly just a depressing place to be in. About 2 weight machines, rower doesnt even work, and treadmills are old and outdated. Not to mention the multiple times I tried working out with random people drunk from the pool walking to and from it through the gym disrupting your workout.At the end of the day, this place isnt cheap and the security fees that are NON refundable make this place worse than ever. So you better have great credit when moving here or youre going to be sh*t out of luck throwing your savings away for a place thats basically the Burger King of apartments.For the same price I moved a few blocks down to Cortland at Walker Ranch which I cant recommend more than enough. Beautiful landscape, zero children live here, clean dog park, state of the art gym.Please if you move anywhere, Blanco at Haven should be the LAST place on your list.Attached our some photos of the Cortland at walker ranch in hopes that if you move anywhere in this area you will choose a newer updated complex that is of the SAME price!!
Me and my wife loved living here! Me and my wife were struggling to find a place to live with 2 big dogs. When we showed up they made us feel welcomed and didn’t turn us down because they don’t have breed restrictions (well when we were there they didn’t) It was our home away from home! We loved the atmosphere and the little events that the employees would throw! They made sure that everyone there was involved and had great customer service. Never had any issues with them. When we needed something fixed they made sure it was fixed that same day or the following day. Miss this place and I recommend people to go check this place out. Me and my wife loved it here and so did our family when they’d come to visit.
I have been living here at MAA Haven at Blanco for about 2 months and I can gladly say I’ve been loving it! I would love to give a shout out the amazing team they have in the front office. I want to thank them for always answering our phone calls and for resolving our maintenance needs. Thank you Michael, Chris & Cody for helping us out from the beginning and always being so attentive. You guys deserve a raise!!!! 🙏🏼🤍 I would also like to mention that we never hear our neighbors EVER! Most apartments I’ve lived at are somewhat noisy, but not this one. The location is perfect as well because every big store is near by, H‑E‑B is only about a 5 minute drive if not less and so is Walmart. It’s extremely convenient! The neighbors are friendly and more than anything we feel safe.
Came to Haven at Blanco with a tight timeline and a million requirements. Brittany was able to meet all of my needs and get me in at record time, even better got a huge apartment at a great price. Highly recommend MAA to anyone needing a new home
Been living at these apartments for about 3 years and have had no problems. Any slight inconvenience there is, Chris has helped every time! You hear horror stories about other complexes but thanks to Chris I don’t have to worry about that, whether that be any minor maintenance issues I have or just stopping by to pick up a package, it has been stellar customer service! Thank you!!
Cody did an amazing job helping me through the process of filling out the application! He answered any and all questions I had about the move in process and was able to help me get approved! If you’re looking to move in to these apartments, I highly recommend working with Cody! He will make the process a lot smoother and stress free!
I absolutely love living here! The community is great, and Cody has been incredibly helpful! His support and understanding had made me love it here even more, and I’m truly happy to call this place home.
I admit we were having a few issues with our choice in our apartment, but after a follow up reaching out and making my grievances known, they acted almost immediately. They even expedited a work order as an apology and followed up with resolutions for my other issues. The folks in the office here take their jobs seriously. The maintenance workers are also outstandingly respectful. If you have an issue, just reach out. Things fall through cracks sometimes, and these folks are human enough to admit it.
Michael was the best. He was great with my daughter and very welcoming to us both. Really made me feel like this is our next home.
Went to tour with Chris today. He was GREAT. Very informative, sweet, humorous, and relatable. The property is very nice, inside and out as well as the amenities, you can really tell they pay attention to the details, even down to the grounds and landscaping. Very easy access, great location as well. My favorite part of the apartment was the large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub with a large mirror and a walk-in shower. And the stair master in the gym, you dont see those often.
A big thank you to Michael for making our move in process quick and stress free! My husband and I are so happy with the service we were provided, and are very impressed with this location! Not to mention the complex is beautiful and the unit was squeaky clean when we moved in! Thank you again Michael!Update:My husband and I have been living here for 7 months now! Our experience is still a positive one. We had some issues with our AC not cooling (on a late Saturday afternoon) we put in a maintenance request and within a couple of hours maintenance was here. They weren’t able to fix the unit that same day since our unit had frozen over, but they were able to provide us with a window unit to ensure we had cool air to sleep comfortably! Maintenance even came out on Sunday to check on the unit! Turned out we needed our Blower Motor to be repaired, maintenance was back within a few days to repair our unit and get us back up and running! This whole process took only a few days. My husband and I are very appreciative of how quickly they were able to help us especially during the busy summer season. Thank you to the kind office staff and their awesome maintenance team!

I have consistently experienced the best residential support services of my life with the MAA Property Management and staff. The staff are friendly and helpful… Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. I intend to continue renting from MAA.Chris was the one who helped me initially find the apartment. He was and continues to be super friendly and helpful! His sense of humor is also amazing! He’s a very sweet person while still being professional!Michael has also been super helpful and friendly! He has a lot of patience! He can answer all of my questions anything I ask.Jennifer has helped monitor the pool situations with kids who continue to disrespect the pool attendees. She also is patient with me calling to see when the pool will open due to cleaning.Cody has also been super helpful with my questions! Very friendly and calming. Super helpful to get my AC fixed in a timely manor.George… what a saint for continuing to work on my AC unit to ensure it works! He’s trustful and knows what he’s doing!Bottom line, this place has an amazing staff to ensure all residents have what they need. ❤️

I have lived here all of two days and honestly, it’s SO MUCH NICER than the other places I looked at. I could have saved a few hundred dollars and gone with a cheaper place but I’m so glad I didn’t! The office staff is amazing and friendly. They seem to genuinely care about the community and are always so helpful. The apartment is beautiful. The attention to details that other places overlook is really what sets it apart from other complexes.The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is because of parking. It’s not great and even if I decided to upgrade to covered or a garage? It’s just not as close as I’d wish it to be. I noticed some people parking in fire zones over night because there was literally zero spots available. I don’t think it’s the whole complex though. My specific apartment is located in a place where adding more parking would be hard.Overall, I’m excited to live here. So far my experience has far exceeded my expectations especially attention to detail and kindness of the staff!!

Im a leasing agent for a nearby apartment community, and I CHOOSE to live at Haven due to the unbelievable full-coverage maintenance program, gated entry, and lovely attentive office staff. The amount of wait time between when a maintenance request is placed and when its completed is virtually non-existent. This is surprising, since the community is rather large and theres a lot of apartments to service! Jordan, one of their maintenance techs, was already in our apartment fixing our sink about 20 minutes after we placed the request. You cannot get quicker than that!The office is always running engaging and fun resident events! They even have a food truck that visits regularly in the evenings. Chris, the leasing consultant, is always available over the phone to answer any questions, and trust me, my husband has A LOT of them!!! Hes incredibly patient and professional. A true wealth of information!All this to say that if you dont want the headache of owning/renting a home, but you want the peace and quiet associated with one, then you need to live here. Everyone is friendly!

I recently moved in to the Haven at Blanco and had a fantastic experience. The apartments are modern and well-maintained, and the common areas are always clean. Our unit that we moved into was clean and ready for us. The thing that stood out is the excellent staff—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The location is convenient and safe, surrounded by trees, and is very close to the Vineyard. Highly recommend!
Living here has its ups and downs. The front office is great but the gate works every now and then. I’ve heard about car theft my whole time here but thankfully never experienced it myself. Maintenance can be good depending on who you get. Any time David or Daniel came to fix a problem with our sink or AC its been super quick. HOWEVER we had birds climb into our dryer vent and sadly die in our dryer. We promptly put in a work order but it took a whole week of waiting and haggling the front office to get it taken car of. When someone did come all they did was replace a vent in 10 seconds and leave and they did not check for a dead bird at ALL. its been a week since the vent got replaced but the smell is still horrible! I can not dry a load of clothes without it stinking of DEATH. This really sucks since my whole time here until now has been pretty good.
The staff from MAA Haven are kind and supportive for their tenants. They are always willing to assist with our needs and support us to the best of their abilities. I hope that they will keep supporting us. Thank you so much again!
Great community, definitely recommend to others. Front office is amazing, Cody was extremely helpful and accommodating. Well explained the entire process and easily had me moved into my new home in no time. Property is extremely well maintained and managed, front office is very professional and always willing to assist.
They tell you that you need to pay a security deposit in order to secure the apartment, and that the $150 security deposit is refundable if you decide not to go with the apartment (they wanted to charge me an additional $700 for a non-refundable security deposit due to my credit, so I found a different apartment that is charging a reasonable, not to mention refundable, amount for a security deposit). What they dont mention is, to get that deposit back you have to decide to cancel and inform them within 72 hours of paying that deposit. I had been talking on the phone with them for weeks. Absolutely no one, of all the leasing agents for MAA Haven at Blanco that I spoke with, informed me of this policy. They simply said, Yes, its refundable. Beware!

I absolutely love living here!! Resident events rock!!!! The staff are phenominal! Michael is an awesome gentleman who made his way back to our community. Toni kills it in the office Jen is the sweetest and so helpful. Kendra and Noel always are front and center ready to assist and make resident events phenominal. Lastly BEST MAINTENANCE TEAM EVER!!!! HARD WORKERS SKILLED AND ARE EVEN HAPPY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS WHEN THEY COME IN. I highly recommend living here.
We recently moved into the unit. Cody was very nice and professional with the process of helping us moving in. The common areas are very well organized and kept up to date. There are some minor problems in the apartment that need to be taken care of by the maintenance, and were waiting. Hopefully will hear back soon.
Recently rented a apartment at Haven at Blanco for a year Jennifer and the staff were very helpful in getting us moved in quickly answering any questions we had. Had an over all great experience, apartment was clean on move in, if there were any issues maintenance was quick to respond and always very courteous. Would highly recommend to any one looking for an apartment in the Blanco/Bitters area. Parking is pretty scarce but the garages are spacious, we were able to use it as a storage and still park our vehicle in it.
We were looking for an apartment this year, had some really hard choices for apartment until we found MAA Haven. I walked in with some friends and we were able to love everything we saw. We talked to Christopher and right off the bat he was very nice and really friendly. My friends were able to see the apartment aside from me I had forgotten my ID but Chris was able to show me a video of the exact apartment my friends saw. The meeting wasn’t awkward at all he made me feel like we’ve been friends for year. All and all he was really great as a person and a leasing agent. 11/10
Me and my fiance have loved our experience here so far. The complex is clean, quiet and our unit is very spacious and clean. All of the appliances work great. The location is great right at Bitters and Blanco. I can easily get to 281 or 1604 within 5 mins. Id definitely recommend anyone looking for a nice apartment in the area.

From the moment I first inquired about the property, they went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and heard. Been here for 3 months now, and I couldnt be happier. The team is great. Friendly and helpful. They have little events and things in the office, suitable for all. They are also very quick to respond to work orders. I did have one work order that was randomly cancelled, but when I asked the office about it, they confirmed, reset the order, and maintenance was on it the next day. I absolutetly recommend MAA Haven at Blanco!!Set a schedule to check out the complex and I had a call to help sort out what I was looking for so there would be no wasted time. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted and taken care of. Cody showed us the options of what we were looking for with no push towards anything outside of the things we were looking for. Applying was super easy and approved very quickly. Any questions weve had have all been answered and as I pick up my keys I am very excited to move in. The gym is very nice and the pool area is spacious.If you are looking for a place come check out Haven and ask for Cody!!
I can’t caution people enough from renting here. First, there’s dog feces EVERYWHERE…sidewalk and sometimes stairs. The gates don’t work half the time and people cars are constantly getting broken into, wheels stolen or the whole car. The biggest issue is how dishonest the management is…I let it go when they lied twice about fixing the HVAC in the gym, when their “cheapest” option when extending my lease (had no choice) was to sign a years lease and then break it…making their numbers look good and ruining my rental history (the cheaper option was to sign a 6 month lease lease). Upon my move out the tried to charge me for new carpets because of “dog damage” (there was none). They insisted it was new carpet when i moved in, I told them I didn’t think it was…they offered to provide me an invoice showing it was. After going back and forth the finally gave me an invoice showing the carpet was 16 months old when I moved it…but STILL were trying to charge me even after they backpedaled saying they don’t always replace the carpet. They blatantly lied. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because when I reached out to corporate, suddenly I wasn’t being charged anymore. I have never lived somewhere that management is this dishonest and questionable. Save yourself the hassle and rent somewhere else!
I was greeted and welcomed immediately upon walking into the complex, and was able to get into my apartment very quickly! I must say, Chris was able to make the whole process fun and smooth! The complex also put on cool events throughout my stay that got residents socializing. 5 stars from me for sure!
Chris was very helpful and pleasant to work with during the leasing process. He answered every single question and did not seemed annoyed whatsoever. This seems like it should be a given, but while searching for a new place staff at other locations were very rude.
First off, this is my first apartment, ever!The first person I met when I walked in was Chris Villarreal. I can’t even describe how lucky I am to have met him right away, he knew all the answers to my MANY questions as a first time renter. Incredibly patient and knowledgeable, I am BEYOND excited to be living in this gorgeous community.
I’m really big on customer service and will leave a review based on value and over all the quality of service/care I received. 5stars across the board . Move in was ever so seamless. Cody and the whole staff was excellent Lead with “let us see what we can do for you “ instead of leading with “we can’t” . Cody worked to accommodate my move in date as close as possible to my actual move in date , he advocated for me and I appreciate it. The apartments very very well kept and updated smart technology . I would recommend . First property I have ever experienced no issues with my move, Clear communication and A1 service! Ohhh and the maintenance team so far is great . Had the pleasure of meeting two of the guys
Such a wonderful place to live! I felt safe living there with my kids and they made lots of friends. Every day after school all the kids would unofficially meet at the green park and play til the sun went down. We miss that part so much. The staff is super friendly, maintenance is super quick to respond. We loved our 2 bedroom 1 bath setup with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The pool is always well kept and the ends of the pool have 1ft shallow areas for toddlers to play.The only downsides were that the units facing the parking lot don’t have porches/balconies. So we didn’t have an enclosed outdoor space(but the awesome dog park and green park made up for that tenfold) And the rent goes up $100-$200 every year. So after two years the space wasn’t worth the price for the 3rd year and made the difficult decision to move. They also have fun events throughout the year to celebrate holidays and National waffle/popsicle/dog/etc. days! I highly recommend Haven At Blanco!
My Husband & I found MAA Haven at Blanco online thought it definitely fit our needs for our family of 4. I first spoke to Cody Zamora and discussed my questions and concerns with him he was very helpful & responsive he sent me everything I needed and assured me if I had any questions to call him. As I waited that weekend for my husband to be off work to veiw the apartments with me I made an appointment early that morning to veiw the place at 1:30pm. When my husband and I showed up for the appointment we walked in and seen Chris Villarreal at his desk and told him we were here for our appointment. Chris says theres no appointment with my name for this time & I said I called this morning at 8am the demeanor in his voice definitely changed and let me know that I couldnt have made that call because they are closed at that time it must have been from a call center. I asked if there was anything we can do concerning someone made the mistake of telling me I had an appointment booked. He said No. Even if someone else made the mistake of not properly giving me an appointment Id expect Chris to at least be responsible and respectful. He was incredibly rude. He didnt give me any alternative solution or offer to reschedule. He told me I needed to leave and said he was booked back to back I didnt see anyone there the whole time I was talking to him he definitely had the time to try to help me but he wanted to argue about the appointment not being there & was super rude I asked him for his managers name and he said he didnt know and he doesnt give out peoples information and told me to leave again. As I was leaving I can hear him telling me stuff as I was walking out the door I was literally so shocked.I got home at 2:15pm and checked online there were still time slots available with options of self viewing too.
The maintenance team at MAA Haven at Blanco are great . The last place I lived it would take 3-4weeks to fix something but here usually within 1-2 days. They are very helpful and friendly.
After several experiences with different administrations when trying to find an apartment, we met Chris, who was an extremely kind person and helped us throughout the entire administrative process. Its service definitely stands out from other complexes. He was always attentive and aware of us and apart from everything he always cared about our same interests. If you have the opportunity to talk to him, dont miss it, he is an incredible person.

I absolutely love it here! I’ve been living here for sometime now and i’ve always been happy with my experience. Chris is so helpful and so caring, anytime I have questions or trouble he is always the person that answers the phone. Would highly recommend this apartment complex.
I moved to the Haven in July from Virginia and love it so far. The team worked with me virtually to get everything set-up for a smooth transition. The maintenance staff is very friendly and prompt with concerns as well. Neighbors are very friendly and feels like a real community of friends. The leasing office is great with communication and letting residents know of issues around the community, which are typically very small concerns. The only con that I have is some dog owners arent as clean as others and will not clean up after their dog.
After years of living in the same apartment I had so much anxiety about moving and finding a new complex but fell in love when I found this one. My initial application was denied but instead of an automated rejection notice, they reached out to me and offered me options. Jennifer + team worked with me and were so patient and helpful through the entire application process to get me approved. My kiddos and I moved into a beautiful apartment inside of a safe, welcoming community this week and we are so happy to be here! I could not be more grateful for the amazing group of people who made this happen and treated us as actual human beings, not just another signature on a lease. Thank you!!!!
Thank you to the wonderful staff at haven blanco my family and I had an absolute blast at the trunk or treat we can’t wait for next year the kids enjoyed the moon bounce and games it was a wonderful way to spend my Sunday funday
In the last few months multiple vehicles stolen, wheels/rims stolen from multiple vehicles. All of which occurred infront on one building. They continually fail to provide any security or safety.
Easily ONE OF THE BEST places Ive lived at. The community is calm, quiet, kind, and friendly. The workers are always very polite, respectful, and very communicative on any issues like maintenance or public safety. I love the community events that often serve food and foster a community! I have never felt like I was under the thumb of a landlord. Did I mention that its gated and even has valet trash? I absolutely love it here!!! If youre considering it, just jump for it! Its hard to find such high quality living in San Antonio for a very reasonable price.
We have been lived at Haven at Blanco community for just over three months and we love being there. My family feels extremely safe there.The management and maintenance teams have always been professional and responsive to any concerns( very few) that we have had.Our dogs love the property as well!Thanks,Brian and Jeana.
Best apartment complex ever! The staff and maintenance team are always ready to help. Maintenance team attends to you very fast. No long waits! Plus, the apartments are spacious.
We have lived at the Haven for several years now. We absolutely love living here. The apartments are well kept and the grounds are highly maintained.The staff is wonderful! They are always welcoming and help you in any way they can. Recently one of the managers went out of her way to deliver a package that was left at the office to my door. I greatly appreciated her kindness! There are always community events offered where you can mingle with your neighbors, so you feel like you live around friends and not among a group of strangers.The maintenance crew is second to none. They are friendly, professional and prompt. They always fix the problem or they find someone who can. They clean up after themselves and are just all around great people!Of course there are some negatives. No place is perfect. Sometimes parking can be an issue, and on occasion, noise levels can be a problem. If I could make any suggestions, it would be to add some benches in front of the clubhouse. I sometimes meet my friends there and my knees arent what they used to be. It would be nice to have somewhere to sit while I wait for them. If you are willing to overlook these minor issues, then the Haven is the place for you. Welcome home!

We have lived there for about a year, the office very are nice, I have never seen a maintenance that fast everyone we put an order they would come same day or the next day!! We would’ve stayed longer but there is a lot of car theft, they stole 4 of our tires. The cops has told us this happens often in these apartments. One of the neighbors car got stolen. Unfortunately the apartment only has cameras in the gate but they can never find out who it is. that’s the only reason why we had to leave. Thankfully the manager let us break our lease and use the garage for free till we moved out. If that didn’t happen we would still be there. We were in the back building 19 so easy target. But I’m sure if you’re building close to the office that might not happen to you. But other than that I would say when we moved in apartment looked very clean, we didn’t face a-lot of issues. They are always on it when we put an order!
I found this place on a whim driving up and down being disappointed by other places who required so much qualifications and restrictions with housing that didnt uphold their pricing for their homes UNTIL I CAME ACROSS THE HAVEN! I am currently in my second week of living here and so far- amazing! The move in process and applying was so fast and accommodating. Michael always helps me with anything I need and the staff has called to check on me and assure me of my move in process. The neighbors are so nice and the amenities are great here. The move in process was so easy and fast, and I cant stress enough how much I enjoy the staff. They are so nice and helpful!! 10/10 happy to call this my new home!
Been living here for over 7 years and it has been an exceptional experience. Office staff (Jennifer/Michael) and management (Toni) have been awesome and accommodating. Maintenance (all staff) have been amazing. The apartment and property amenities (pool, gym, dog/resident park, club house, etc) that are offered here are above standards. Also, the monthly events offered to residents have been nice.
Don’t know why they market themselves as a gated community, the gate has been broken for the past two weeks straight, it breaks often and is left open 24/7. My package got stolen here from my mailbox and when I got connected with Kendra from the front office, she was very rude and quick to tell me they could not do a single thing about it and that I should contact the post office. When I did, they told me that their GPS shows it got delivered here so yeah, clearly someone stole it but I was quickly dismissed. I told Kendra that and again she had an attitude and got snappy with me. Maintenance guys are great though and very helpful. Apartments are good beside gate being broken and some rude office people.
We’re very happy to be able to live in this apartment. The apartment is good, clean, and safe. We were helped by agent Michael he was very friendly, explained in detail, and answered all our questions.
We just moved here and so far it has been a wonderful experience.Going through the leasing process we worked with Cody Z. and he is fantastic to work with! So helpful and very quick to reply when we had questions or were having issues with the resident portal.
The only perks I enjoy are that it’s a gated community and they offer valet trash. Not sure what’s in the water here in TX, but every time I have a question or concern I get connected with the same front office staff and it’s awful communicating with them. They’re so eager to prove their point that they give me an attitude when they’re not met with one, weird. There’s been constant miscommunication in the past from varying staff members despite what the lease agreement states, also weird. I don’t feel valued or respected here as a tenant when I ask questions - they’re so quick to cut me off to prove their point without hearing me out. I should’ve known moving here my first day was a red flag when they basically shooed me out of the office despite what was communicated via email. Cannot wait for my lease to end.
Been living here for over 7 years and have had a wonderful experience. The front office staff and mainenance crew have been amazing to deal with. The apartment, property and amenities (pool, gym, clubhouse, community events) are above standards. I highly recommend living here!
I have been a resident here for nearly a year and I am beyond pleased.I have never heard of an apartment complex being so prompt with the maintenance request as I hear about Haven.I didn’t do my homework on this complex for one reason that being: If you continue to make life decisions on reviews you will always live on People decision vs your own experience.I’m glad I use my own experience because I truly know I’ve made the Best life decision I could have made. I don’t think I’m ever leaving here. I am satisfied in every way. The place is really good, it has reliable apartment maintenance, responsive office during business hours, no package theft, a really nice pool and a fun little dog park. Ive been here for about a year so far and have barely any issues and if I did they would be fixed in a timely matter. I would definitely recommend moving in if youre in need of an apartment.
I toured Haven at Blanco about a month ago and spoke to a couple residents while I was there. They seemed to enjoy the complex. My only concern was the pool not open and it seems as though you get fed to a corporate office any time you try to call or email. I worry it would be impossible to get ahold of anyone when living there.That being said, Jennifer was wonderful to work with and Haven is still at the top of my list.

I just signed my 4th lease here at the havens. This place has been a blessing for my family of 5. I cannot brag more about the staff here. They are so kind and have really become family. They work hard to ensure their residents have a wonderful home. They throw bbqs by the pool, have food trucks come monthly, breakfast in the club house quarterly. I feel they go above and beyond a normal apartment complex to be honest and I love it. The maintenance gets done within two days. The pool is always nice. AGAIN the staff are LITERALLY ALL STARS and our apartment is beautiful. The work out facility is awesome my husband and I use it daily just about. The location is incredible. I would recommend the Havens to any family looking for a safe and fun place to call home.
Pros: the pool was very nice, good location and area, washer and dryer included, prompt and professional maintenance workers.Cons: Over priced rent, dog poop everywhere outside, almost no parking spots after 7pm, very thin walls between apartments, was charged $150 to clean pet stains under the carpet...I never had a pet...so the carpets are not new when you move in and you may be charged to clean it when your lease is upI would not recommend these apartments at this price. Too many issues for a luxury apartment complex.

Living at these apartments for the last year has been the best experience! Maintenence fixed any issue I had the day I submitted a form and the leasing staff is the sweetest! The only reason Im not renewing my lease is the price went up a crazy amount since I first moved in.
The leasing office staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would have loved my family to be apart of this community. But for some unfortunate reason that wasnt specified, my husbands application was declined. Which word wasnt given to us until a week and a half later. This was very disappointing considering we both have good rental history. My husband isnt a threat to anyones community and we always pay rent on time. So being declined to be apart of this community is very disheartening.

Wow, after reading all of these reviews it is clear that people love complaining about everything. An issue I do want to agree with: the walls are thin but what apartment doesnt have thin walls? I really cant think of any other issues weve had. All of the staff at the Haven are very friendly and have always been willing to help me. Maintenance is always prompt to respond to our issues. The dog park is very nice and convenient if you have a dog. The residents are doing a much better job picking up after their pets. This place is beautiful and clean. Perhaps one of my favorite things is the pool area where you are welcomed to use the grills or relax in the pool/spa area. Dont let all of these poor reviews turn you away from checking this place out.
Love living here, the office staff is wonderful and helpful. Maintenance is always quick to respond and courteous inside your home. They just put in new landscaping and it looks beautiful!

The Manager Jennifer Brandt was such a breath of fresh air! When I went in and toured the property I had already seen a few other places and wasnt treated very well. When I came in she greeted me with a smile. She asked about my puppies and when I left I felt like I had made a new best friend. Im so glad my locator told me to go to Haven at Blanco. This will now be my new home!
Best choice me and my boyfriend have made... When we had first applied for the approval Jennifer was our consultant she was a great person gave us plenty of advice consulted us well on the complex, and to top it off she even lived here it was a plus for us we knew they had to be good. Also the best thing besides how beautiful the apartments are inside, is there is no breed restrictions like all the others. Made it easier for us since we have an American Bully. I havent had any issues so far living here there are so many amenities you dont even need to leave the complex for unless grocery shopping. The gym is great, the playground my son loves, and the dog park is perfect for our furry friend! Everyone in the complex is friendly and easy going i would definitely recommend living here its just to perfect. I wouldnt judge on others bad comments see for yourself i promise you wont be disappointed.
I didn’t have a lot of time to do any searching for an apartment after accepting a position in San Antonio, TX a few years back so Apartment Wolf was my eyes on the ground as I prepared for my move from the Sunshine State to the Lone Star State. I had a fantastic broker leasing consultant who took all the things I wanted in an apartment and delivered wonderfully by introducing me to the Haven at Blanco. I’ve been very pleased with my time here and have found the staff to be absolutely wonderful. They have always gone above and beyond to make myself and others feel welcomed. Now if only I didn’t work so much so that I could actually make one of the community Pizza Parties!

I LOVE THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX! I’ve only needed maintenance once and they were so fast and great and cleaned up after themselves. The whole front office staff is AMAZING! Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Noelle, especially, has been nothing but the best! I highly recommend this place.
4 months into the lease and my family and I are extremely happy with the complex. The apartments are nice and clean. Very spacious floor plan allows for large furniture and plenty of room for an active child to run around in the 2x2 unit. Cost is very reasonable for us. We moved from AZ where the cost of living is ridiculously high. Staff has been helpful and friendly and the vallet trash is a nice touch. The only thing that keeps this from a 5 star review is the amount of trash around the apartments. Now dont get me wrong, its not like everywhere you turn there is trash but, Isnt there some kind of maintenence crew to keep certain sections clean? Either way, very happy with the choice weve made here. I will keep yall updated if things change for better or for worse. Update, trash is still piling up by the dumpster and recycle bin. There needs to be a second dumpster on site!
I loved living here. I would have stayed if I didn’t buy a home. The Haven at blanco has been by far the best apartments I have lived at. Conveniently located and the complex was always clean and well maintained. I only had one work order the whole time I lived there and it was taken care of right away! The team they have working is also AMAZING.. I would name names if it was anyone specific but everyone in the office is so informed, helpful and truly caring. You are not just a number at The Haven. In addition to that! I love the events that they put on pretty regularly! During Easter they had an egg hunt for the kids, they had pool parties with prizes in the summer, charity dinners, and pizza nights, oh an food trucks! Again I enjoyed my time in the community they have created there and would return if I ever went back to an apartment.
The employees at this complex are the best that I have ever had. The office is always attentive and nice to any questions I have. The maintenance is always so quick and so prompt fixing any issues. I’ve had no issues here andLove my apartment.
I wanted to write about how WONDERFUL it is to live at the Haven. This property has a lot of factors that allow me make such a statement, they are:1) The property is well maintained, as they just finished painting last month and really do care about keeping aesthetic appeal of the area2) I feel that the staff does really listen to your concerns and care. Once, Michael even brought me my tv I had ordered which was a the clubhouse to my unit on a golf cart, that was really appreciated.3) They host a wide variety of events at the clubhouse designed to foster community spirit.4) Location! You are not far from 1604 or Wurzbach Parkway, so getting places is rather easy due the propertys locale.I have lived here for six years. No, this is not a perfect place, but I can tell you that living here is truly very nice.
I like the apartment complex and the front office staff are friendly, but they cant do anything for you if you need help or something isnt in the rule book. Ive signed up for a 12 month lease and ended up that I would be here for 18 months in total. When the time came to renew my lease I was treated like I never lived here and my rent became 150% of what it was originally. They couldnt do anything to discount it even though I have been a loyal tenant. We did complain about a dog barking at our neighbors and they told us to prove it we would have to have them come sit in our apartment to hear it barking for themselves. Which was strange. I recently had an issue with my car and wanted to rent a garage short term so I could have a place to work on my car. The office staff told me I would have to rent it for the remainder of my lease and couldnt do a month. It is ridiculous how little they are willing to help you. As I said, the on site staff are helping and will do what they can, but corporate doesnt see you as a person, just a source of revenue. I dont recommend moving here unless you are going to be here for a long time or know that you can move at 12 month intervals.
Spent the last 1 1/2yr here, I must say dont look any further, their staff is kind and courteous! they have next day maintenance, neighbors seem to be mindful and kind, and have security patrol every night, the price is great for what you get, and they care for their tenant, there a different events every other week, top apartment complex in SA

I lived here for 2 years. I actually dont know where all bad reviews are coming from . I lived in two differentt units and both were awesome. Very clean and updated. Fairly new apartments. Staff is awesome especially Jaime. He always worked with me and helped me with any issues i had. Only cons were the parking, but thats almost at every apartment complex. If you want parking right in front of your unit just rent a garage or covered parking and if not then get a house if you want parking up front. My ac went out once and maintenance came that same day and fixed the issue the same day. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex. And also great area 👌
Absolutely love this apartment complexThe staff is friendly and attentive.We have no problems with neighbors sure there may be a couple pieces of trash but Ill take that over having other problems like having my car broken into. The apartment interior is just as beautiful as the exterior , crown molding in every room and its a great size. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an apartment.
This community is really quite. There are a bunch of kids everywhere but they are respectful and dont make a ton of noise. Most of the people who live here are very friendly and control their dogs very well.That being said, why dont people pick up their dog S#!T! the complex has trash bins and bags all over the place yet people are so lazy they cant be bothered to pick up after their dogs? It smells awful and with summer coming...its only going to get worse.When I first moved into the apartment, there were a lot of issues with it. The heater, the dryer the microwave and there was a MAJOR leak in the 1st bathroom. The leak actually was so bad it went from the bathroom into the hallway and caused mold damage. Which I am allergic to.That being said, as soon as I wrote up a Matinence report Frank came within 24hrs and fixed each issue. Frank is amazing amd totally deserves a raise.The office staff Jennifer, Jaime, Mike and Alex are all amazing people. This is my first apartment and they have all helped me immensely in understanding how everything works.Do to my PTSD it can be hard for me to bring up issues with the apartment or my neighbors. But the office staff have been very kind and patient with me in that regard, This place is great and I recommend it.
When I reported the intoxicating smell of kerosine that filled my apartment, the staff told me that they did not smell anything and did nothing about it. The smell was so strong that we had to sleep with all windows open for multiple days in below freezing weather. After being denied help by the apartment complex for days, we asked around the building and found out that multiple of our neighbors had also reported the issue and been told that there was not a smell. A few days later it was discovered that the smell was coming from a motorcycle leaking gasoline all over the garage below us. The apartment complex staff did nothing to help, and even tried to gaslight everyone into believing there was not a smell. I later developed a terrible cold from sleeping with my windows open, but I guess that I am just grateful that my neighbors were able to find the issue because the staff does not care about our safety.

I resided here from June 2018-2019. Ill start with the pros: conveniently located, decent size, the office staff was friendly, community events were good, fitness center was ok and work orders were completed in a timely fashion.Cons: As mentioned countless times, parking is horrible. I lived in a 2nd floor unit and the people above me were insanely loud, I would just move to the living room to sleep. The walls are thin, I could hear my neighbors in their restroom and my other neighbors arguing all of the time. I had a small silverfish problem (I think this is a thing in San Antonio) that I sprayed myself to get rid of, but it did not work on all of the little spiders that began to show up after I put a request for my blinds to be changed. I watched people not pick up after their pets after they did their business.In conclusion, decent size for a good rental rate and convenient location. I wouldve given them a 4 if I didnt have little pest toward the end of my stay; and if people in the community would do their part in keeping the community clean and quiet.

Geez Idk why these apartments are getting such a bad rap. I was really surprised to see below a 3 rating. I love it here. Been here since June of 2017. Any maintainence issues are fixed within 24 to 48 hours. The pool is amazingDuring the summer can be crowded but thats bc is a great pool. Ive literally seen 1 real roach since Ive been here but its Texas so yeah. People can be gross and leave dog poop, not pick up their trash, and the trash can be pretty gross but thats gross people cant blame the complex for that. Staff is always friendly ans professional for the most part. I did make a complaint about the most recent guy they hired Idk his name but he needs to work on his customer service. But thats not a big deal either, next time Ill tell him myself. Bottom line. I love it here. Great place to live. Has basic apartment issues. Dont want those issues buy a house. Ill be here until I do.
I am giving this apartment 5 stars because it has been the best apartment experience I have had. We lived here for almost two years and currently in the process of moving out. With all apartment living, there are ups and downs, but this place has been a pleasure to live at.The staff are very friendly and do their best to accomidate your needs. Maitenance respond to service requests in a timely manner.The best perk has been the dog park. The dog park is large and includes a dog washing station and benches. There is also a playground for children to play near the dog park.They have separate trash and recycling centers. They have many dog stations around the complex to make cleaning after your dog easier.In my opinion, the only downs have been some of the residents that live here. Many residents do not clean up after their pets and some have openly aggressive dogs. Fortunately, the office do their best to solve these types of problems. Overall, the majority of residents are friendly and responsible.
I will use this space to not only review Haven at Blanco...but the San Antonio area in general. Friends, if you are for whatever reason considering moving to the San Antonio area...dont...its awful. Its like living in another country...its so backward. The majority of locals that I have had daily interaction with are not only amazingly rude but clueless to boot...there is not speed limit enforcement...there are basically no laws here that people are made to follow as far as I can tell.The crime rate is so high..grocery stores not only have security guards...but K9s as well...a food store! We were in San Antonio for 2 days and had our car broken into and nearly everything we brought with us stolen...hospitality for sure.Anyway...Haven at Blanco...the staff is super friendly, professional and just seem to be nice people. The apartment itself is nice. The water here in San Antonio is so treated after a few days it made our skin smell like celery...so you will have to get filters for showers and taps and obviously drinks filtered or bottled water.Maintenance here at Haven are also professional and prompt. If there is an issue the office and maintenance make sure it is resolved.Complex is over all pleasantly landscaped and of course there is a giant pool...security is somewhat of a concern and especially after what happened to us when we first arrived here I dont sleep well at night.The walls are amazingly thin...and lucky for us...out upstairs neighbor wear is high heels from the time she arrives home from work until midnight.Lets now talk about bugs...people from this area or places like it will already know this..but for those of you who are not...there is definitely a big problem...cockroaches...fire ants and silver fish to name a few...not too happy when we found cockroaches in our bathroom...but Haven will work with you and send exterminators to your units.Parking may vary...as with most apartment complexs around here it is first come first serve...we have not have good luck with parking either.I wouldnt be here if it wasnt for the job my husband took...and I am not from any place like Texas or San Antonio...so its so different for me...and unfortunately in many ways it has been a negative experience for me:..Anyway..to wrap it up...dont move here...and check out Haven at Blanco if you are moving to the area. Three stars for Haven at Blanco...one for San Antonio.
I have called the Haven at Blanco home for two years now, and had nothing but good things to say for the majority of my stay here. The staff were very accommodating (Mike is always awesome) when we needed to move from one apartment to another on short notice about 5 days from being due with our first son. The in-house maintenance team is excellent and timely. The appliances are very nice. The apartments are generally great quality. However, the last six months have been just a little questionable. Some things you only get with apartment complexes. Very thin walls, loud neighbors, dog feces issues, these are all things that occur anywhere you have lots of people living together. We pay $25 for a trash service that was $15 when we moved in, and doesn’t operate on Saturday or Friday. When I was working and in school, I got several calls about the “clutter” on my patio, and with no one home to move what they were asking for, they just kind of shoved everything to one side. My largest complaint is with the cockroach problem that has grown out of control of 6 months in my kitchen. I’ve been asking for help for about 6 months now, and pest control is unreliable. Pest control is an outside service that only shows up on Wednesdays, doesn’t inform you when they’ll arrive or what they will do, and generally seems ineffective. There are cockroaches in the clock on my oven for goodness’ sake! I moved my fridge out from the wall and it was COVERED with roaches and eggs from floor to ceiling. I’ve cleaned the kitchen myself, I’ve bug bombed (at the behest of Jennifer in the front office) and even had a family friend who works in pest control come by. Nothing helps, especially not the Haven’s pest control contractors.All this being said, the apartments are very expensive. You’re paying for location, amenities, and pets, honestly. Like I said, the apartments are nice, but the rent increases are steep, and fees tend to just pop up out of nowhere when it comes to moving time. We have made the decision to rent a house for $50 less a month than we’re paying in rent, in the same area, in the same school district, if that can tell you anything about just how much they’re charging per apartment. They have a no breed restriction policy when it comes to dogs, but you’ll sure pay through the nose for them. Parking is limited, but you can pay $125 monthly for a detached garage. Our vast rent should be $1445, but after all the fees, we’re approaching $1700. Our base rent is about to reach $1700... I would hate to think about how much we would pay.Take any apartment complex with a grain of salt. Haven is very nice, but the steep prices and no breed restrictions policy leads to many of the problems most people complain about as roommates cram themselves into units. Prices will only increase from here. Lease at your own discretion.
The pool is always so clean, I recently had a party for a friend and the grills, tables, ice machine are always so clean and kept tidy! The gym is super, it fits my needs and hardly anyone goes by so it’s like I have it all to myself, parking is great, my neighbors are great, the staff are fantastic I’ve yet to have a complaint!
I have lived at Haven at Blanco for 10 months. By far, it has been the worst experience that I have ever had with any apartment community or property manager. Many of the reviews on this site reference how friendly and inviting the staff is. I will admit they do SEEM very friendly and inviting, but so does a used car salesman thats trying to sell you a lemon. All of the staff have a misguided moral compass and lack of integrity. They always act very friendly around the community, until you have a problem or maintenance issue. Then, all of sudden, theyre not held liable for your situation or they will lie to you with a friendly, exuberant smile on their face.There is an extremely high crime rate in this apartment community consisting of stolen vehicles, cars being broken into, and wheels being stolen with the vehicles left on blocks. All of this was happening with an inoperable controlled access gate. It breaks repetitively and takes the staff forever to fix. Theyll tell you that your lease states that they are not held liable for it. But, if crime is happening in an apartment community and they can mitigate and/or prevent it, they can be held liable for your personal damages in court.If you are thinking about signing a lease in this apartment community, do yourself a favor. When they are driving you around on their golf cart, waving at everyone and putting on their fake smiles, kindly ask them to stop the cart, so that you can ask current residents what their experience has been like living in this apartment community. I guarantee that you will change your mind.

I have looked at this apartment several times, liking their location, amenities and staff but never found the unit I needed. This visit I needed an ADA apartment for my wheelchair bound sister for January but they had no availability.
I was very happy living here during my first lease, however in the recent months there has been a wave of criminal activity. Tires/Rims have been getting stolen, including our own, which has made us uneasy about living here. If you get a lease here I recommend renting a garage because sadly, crime has no address and management does not take responsibility for anything that happens in the parking lot.
Where do I start? The first day of completing the paper for my 8 months lease, I was told that no deposit would be required based on their background check. The representative J told me that I would have to pay $100 which would more than likely go towards cleaning the carpet when my lease ends, and I told her that it was fine. After moving in on the first night, I noticed the dishawasher would not work and I reported it to J. I was told that maintenance would come and repair it. Maintenance came and left and the dishwasher still did not work. I reported it once again on two different occasions after the first instant, and after being there for 8 months up until my lease ended, it was never repaired. Management said to me at the end of my lease, I should have returned to the office to report the issue. I found it very strange that a tenant has to keep reminding the office about a non operational appliance, even after three reports. But management sends out a single email 10 days or about before rent is due, reminding tenants that rent is due at a certain date, and the tenenat would not receive another email about due date. So tenants are notified once of rent being due, but tenants are suppose to remind management 6 or more times that an appliance needs to be repaired. Also, a charge for collecting trash was included in the lease with a schedule time. However, shortly after moving in, the schedule for collecting trash was all bullshit. Trash were collected whenever the employee felt like collecting the trash. Sometimes trash stayed by my apartment door for two days, and no notice was given by management concerning the challenges they are having in regards to trash collection. On a particular night after returning home from work, I turned my doorknob to enter my apartment and it came off in my hand, and the other portion fell inside my apartment. This happened around 1am. I called the apartment 24hr maintenance emergency service telephone number, the maintenance guy answered and I told him what had happened. After speaking to him for a about two minutes explaining what had happened, he told me that a door knob falling off is not an emergency, and he never came to repair it. I left and went to Walmart shortly after I was told that it was not an emergency, after all, it was for my safety. It took me less than a minute to install the new door knob. After my lease ended, I was told that the rug needed to be cleaned and I would be responsible for the bill. I was like what?? I told the manager that I was told the $100 I paid when I moved in, would have been applied to the rug being clean when my lease ends. I asked about the $100, and what was it applied to. The manager said that $100 was paid to avoid paying a $200 deposit which would have been refunded after my lease ends. Who in their right mind would pay $100 which would not be refunded after their lease ends, oppose to paying a $200 deposit which would be refunded at the end of their lease?That apartment cares nothing about their tenants. Their focus is to scam people out of money and not to address tenants problems and issues. They will send you reminders of the food trucks that come around at certain times, but could never remember to repair appliances. Apartments are lease under false pretense that everything is working, which is a total lie. On top of all that, the leases for some apartments like the one bedroom apartment I occupied, were increased by $400, and they are having tenants park outside of the complex while visitors park inside at nights.My advise to anyone who may be thinking about leasing an apartment at the Havens, youre better off leasing an apartment in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Lubbock, or even Louisiana, even if youre working in San Antonio. If your job is in San Antonio, the hours of driving to San Antonio from an apartment in those other cities, is much better than living in that complex. You have been warned!!!!I gave their ratings one star, only because Im unable to give them a quarter of a star.
I have lived here for over a year and have yet to have complaints. The office staff and maintenance team are always friendly and very quick to get things done! Recommend to anyone looking for an apartment.

Terrible customer service at the front desk. Got talked down on by a female white lady who acted like she owned the place and gave attitude every time.. Apartments are dirty as hell, it’s the equivalent of staying at a local motel for the price of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Find a better apartment not this one.

Someone broke into my vehicle and company vehicle at different dates. There isn’t any parking after 630pm.NO PARKING PERMITS are needed for these apartments which makes it even more difficult to find parking.Pet droppings everywhere, dumpsters are always full.No cameras at these apartments so anyone can come and go especially when the gates are broken most of the time. These apartments are on the lower end but priced at a high rate. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY.Vehicles are ALWAYS getting broken in.People that are giving good reviews must be on a good side of the complex because they got their reviews all messed up
I love the haven at blanco , everybody in the front office is super nice and ready to help you with watever you need with no questions asked . It’s “okay” “yes ma’am” “we’ll get that done for you “ I’ve lived here almost 3 years and I can’t see myself living elsewhere . It’s safe , beautiful and comfortable. I love this apartment .
Wait until you give your notice to find out who they really are. I had never encountered such rudeness in them before. They came down on me like vultures demanding all kinds of lease termination fee in addition to 1.5 times your basic rent. I found out the hard way that they are not what they portray themselves to be when you apply and first move in. Dont wait to know your rent increase. I was compelled to terminate the lease. I gave 60 days notice on 2/15/19 at 1 PM to 4/16/19. My lease matures on 7/4/19. The reason was valid...to go on mission to India.Suddenly plans cancelled.I couldnt call on Sat night orSun so called First On Monday(2/18/19) at 9:30AM I called Jennifer to cancel my notice and told her I can live here to complete my lease. She Said: I AM SORRY YOUR APT IS ALREADY RENTED. YOUR RENT WAS SO LOW. IF YOU WANT I CAN LET YOU MOVE INTO ANOTHER APT IN ANOTHER BLDG BUT THE RENT WILL BE MUCH HIGHER. I went on line and checked It was not YET LISTED.There were many vacant apts and the new rent $898.0.They wanted more money on my apt. 2 days later Alex via email reinforced what Jennifer said.They all are in the same pit so unable to see their ugliness.Jaime is ruthless.My review reflects true standards of this community. They need to stop accusing me of being untruthful.Instead look at each other and see reflection of own selves. They conspire together.It is daring to keep harping: OUR TEAM EFFORT TO ACCOMMODATE YOU HAVE FALLEN FLAT when they abused me by attempting to force me out of my apt before lease ends ignored my request to cancel the notice of termination.They did not try to accommodate me.Stop lying.I called Apt Locator and found a much larger (765 sq ft) many amenities, senior discount....At Haven at Blanco: Dog poop and dog Urine all over the breezeway, on steps dirty.I am 75 yrs old on fixed income. To move into another APT would be more rent and pay $400.0 for the movers plus the stress of packing.....I didnt expect to move out but live here for the rest of my life.seniors cant afford high rent hike.Few days later Jaime called. All along he was involved in this abuse.Finally when I answered he, a con artist sounded pathetic. He said OVER THE WEEKEND SOMETHING UNFORTUNATE HAPPENED. IT DIDNT GO AS PLANNED. He then said YOU CAN STAY IN THE SAME APT FOR THE SAME RENT. They joined in a lie.He wasnt doing me a favor. It was my right to live until lease ended.In addition to 1.5 times basic rent = $1219.50 he had charged me additional $24.64 toward lease termination feeJaime gives unreasonable rent increases. He and Michael do not let tenants live here and settle down for a long time. We are pushed out with huge rent increase. MAA IS TOO GREEDY. YOUR PR is bad. Your leasing staff puts on a professional front which is fake. I will not recommend living here when there are much nicer apt with very pleasant and professional leasing staff elsewhere.Their damage control does not amount to anything.I want honest and ethical dealings just as they do.Tenants value transparency& honesty.Their lack of integrity comes across in their response. All issues are not separate but related. If one is are multitask oriented they must understand. The leasing staff is abusive & step out of rules in policy manual.Jennifer tried to force me out of my apt & inconvenience me to pack & move into expensive apt in another bldg for the remainder 21/2month of my lease. This calls for legal action against them for senior abuse.Obviously they intended to make me sign new lease and pay for cleaning etc. They did not try to accommodate me at all. Their response sounds irresponsible in a sense they do not want to admit the leasing staff was wrong in their dealings with me..If they read the reviews number of them have one thing in common: LEASING STAFF MOST UNETHICAL AND RUDE.Deal with the internal illegal issues first. Last Sunday apt 12206 moved to another MAA property in Austin job transfer. Please ask her the abuse from the office for lease termination after 5 years.She told me THIS MAA PROPERTY IS BAD.
Having lived in several apartment complexes throughout my college career, I can say that my experience at The Haven at Blanco has by far been the absolute worse. If you want to hear everything (and I mean everything!) that your neighbors are doing then PLEASE move here (whether this be the bath time songs coming from the children above during bath time or noises that occur during the parent’s alone time). If you want a Courtesy Patrol who does absolutely nothing when you call, then please move here. If you want horrible management who are unreasonable and rude then please move here. If you want snooty neighbors then please move here. If you want to wait 5 minutes for a gate to rise as you leave the complex, then please move here. If you want to hear your neighbors barking and screaming dogs at ALL hours of the day/night, then please move here. If you want to be completely unhappy and unsatisfied with where you live in San Antonio, Texas, then please move here. You can thank me later.

I rented an apartment at Haven and by far it was probably the easiest complex I’ve dealt with in a while. I had a couple minor issues when I moved in, but the front office staff was amazing and promptly took care of my issues.

SMH! Issues just dont stop by these tenants that think they own the place. While management sits around with their unwillingness to do anything, seriously. Why complain when nothing gets done? Management, are you afraid to confront these people causing these issues? Heres an idea that will help out some...get a service that WILL pick up the dog poop thats littered almost everywhere. Cause the dog owners arent doing it. TOW AWAY those violators that constantly park in the fire lane and handicap parking. How many times is the security gate going to break before its permanently fixed? Is it possible to have the garbage collection we pay not to forget to take it away sometimes? Management, seriously. Listen to our concerns and seriously do something about it. Quit sitting around telling us ok, aha, sure, of course, etc!
Just moved in couple days ago and so far everything is amazing since the very first time I went into the office the staff where very helpful in helping me find what I need I love my new apartment closet is very spacious the community is very clean and every one seems to stay to them selfs thanks Haven at Blanco
Worst Apartment complex to be in. Im a service member and moved to that location as it was convenient. They showed me the apartment that i was going to move in and wasnt even clean, i told them to clean it and when they did i started moving in all my stuff when everything was in it i started smelling mold to the point that my two kids and wife could not even sleep. After i notified them of the issue, they tried to bring a little machine to clear the air but it did not work. I moved to a different unit in the same complex and they did not even assit me on anything, instead they charged me $90.00 to move out which is ridiculos. After being in the new apt, a lot of issues arose like birds getting into my dryer through the conduct that blows the hot air out, garbage disposal always breaking, people parking infront of my parking garage on which i paid extra $125.00 even though they have a security company driving around which are never there when you need them. I am currently deployed and left my wife there as they told me they were going to take care of her and anything she needed and instead they are treating her like they dont know her specially a guy named Jaime from the manangement office who is zero proffesional and does not have education im not sure how he got to be working with people, they also do not want to honor my 30 days noticed even thought they know i am in orfers and instead want me to one more month and my family wont be even there. In the state of TX a word to mouth does apply and written noticed was provided to them by me on which i email it to them but they still want to take advantage that i am not there to defend my family because im out deployed defending my country, they dont care about anything not even that. Another issue is the over charge, my contract states that the mobthly payment is $1382.00 and every month i was paying almost $1500.00 for charges that they decide to make up, always late fees put of no where. I will let the better business berau know about this company and this people that take advantage of hard working citizens because it is not the first time this happened, i heard it from a friend of mine that just to live there as well but i did not beleave her until it happened to me. So if you are My brother or sieter fron the Military do not put yourself i. This situation as they just dont care about the sacrifices that we do, if you are civilian i do not recommended either as it could be worst to you. Walk away and dont let this people full you with their smiles or like the lady that rented me the aparment jennifer with her story of caring about Military because its all a lie. Almost forgot to include that they sent me to collections without notifying me of the $90.00 when i change to another unit in the same complex, instead they did it when i email them letting them know that my family will be leaving premises. Not people that you can trust

Decent place to live; Rent is high for what you get, and the location is loud due to the busy road its off of. Parking is also very limited past 7 pm. In my time there, Ive seen a few stray dogs and occurrences of stolen vehicle parts. Paint is an inch away from the trim throughout entire apartment. Mandatory trash collection is the worst part, as the service provider is often negligent and not held accountable, although they will threaten you with fees if something is out of place once on your end. Not unlike other housing complexes, they attempt to nickel and dime you any way possible. Rate increase of $350/month after my 9 month lease expired and $150 late fee after new payment portal was introduced, and my email wasnt linked to the portal. On the positive side, maintenance is terrific and the pool area is nice. I would recommend overall, but be aware of the flaws.

Lived here for about 2 to 2 and a half years. Neighborhood is clean, quiet, and the office and maintenance always respond promptly and exceptionally to any issues presented. Great place to live.
The leasing agents are all very nice and for the most part are super responsive and very nice!! Its the other tenants who dont pick up their animals voids!!! I wish more was enforced on this end!!!
It cant get any worse than this. Shity apartments 0 luxury, apartment dirty from the first day, bugs everywhere and dont even call them for pest control because I guarantee you it wont work. Roaches everywhere. Even the staff members that live here be using handicaps spots without a tag. Privacy isnt the main thing for them, I know about people leases and issues paying rent because of a friend that work there. Ohh and good luck finding a parking spot after 7 pm its impossible. Isnt Haven Ill call this plase HELL. DONT MOVE HERE
The Haven was the place I called home for two years until I recently moved into a home. The move out experience was terrible! Outside of my conversations with Jennifer, the management team was disrespectful and rude. Upon my inquiry with fees that were charged, I was told by the property manager that I really cannot spend any further time on this. and then proceeded to threaten me to pay without my complete understanding of the amount due.
I have never had issues with an apartment complex until now. This place is poorly run the office doesnt communicate well with each other or the maitnance and I have just had an aweful experience here. The apartments are nice but it is not worth all the baggage of what comes with it.
A/C was having a little trouble put in the work order maintenance came the next day and fixed it. Came home from work to a cool apartment AWESOME job!
I like the area, and the staff is always friendly. I feel comfortable knowing they live in the complex. I think the only downside is the fact that the walls are thin, but thats in a lot of places. I was just use to double insulation.
Cody helped tremendously when getting moved in here and made the move very smooth!

Overall, not bad. The make-ready for my apartment was not as I expected with several scratches on floor, marks on wall, missing trim....staff is pretty accommodating, but a little disappointed in the presentation of my apartment.

DO NOT RENT WITH THESE PPL. THEY DONT DO ANYTHING IN REGARDS TO THE UNAMMOUNTABLE AMOUNT OF THEFT IN THE COMPLEX. YOUR CAR WILL BE BROKEN INTO. Within months my truck was hotwired, my roommates car was broken into as well as my gfs car. Theyre too cheap to pay for around the clock security even with more than a DOZEN or more break ins in a month.

I miss loving here sooo much , this is my home , im husting super hard so i can help my mom pay rent to move back , their prices just got really high unfortunately :( . my room was soo big & my mom had the master bedroom n bath & it was even biggerr . there was so much space n storage in my apartment . the best thing was , you could NOT hear neighbors at allll , i heard music here n there very faintly but that doesnt bother me . the neighbors mind their own business & just live their lives unlike other apartments . the balcony was perfecttt , nobody can hear you , very private !!! i was on third story 2 bedroom 2 bathroom , overall the whole structure floor plan was HOME 💞 the pool was soo big & beautiful at nightt , theres a bigg area to hang out by the pool with a roof over it , 💞 i could go on for hours about this apartment complex , hopefully the rent goes down a little , i miss my apartment id do anything to move back !

Worst place Ive ever lived at will tell ppl to stay away from this place loud NEIGHBORS, rude security team management, expensive rent for an extremely small apartment and to top it all of after about 6 PM you will have nowhere to park but CLEAR across the complex to find SOMEWHERE to park you car .... absolutely hate this place, and to be honest you could do whatever you want and no one will ever care at the front office , the front office ppl are here to collect their money and go home they dont care about you or whats wrong with the complex horrible management !!!!!
