Just moved in to the apartments and I love our 3 bedroom! The management team is awesome and Anna in particular has been nothing but kind and professional. I had a maintenance issue and the maintenance team came in to take care of the issue the same day! Thank you, Mundo and Al for an awesome job. I feel really grateful.

Straight to the point,the office and staff at Palo Alto Apartment Homes are professional,kind, courteous and very helpful. Work orders are promptly and skillfully done. I am most thankful to be living in these apartments and to have great people to take care of our apartment. Thank You very much !

Have enjoyed my stay at Palo Alto so far. The staff has been nice and quick to respond to any issues. Steve has been great to deal with and takes care of any maintenance issues. Id recommend.

“Luxury apartments” sure if you call a dirty complex with strays and broken fences. Homeless people walking through hallways all night checking doors. Never any parking you pay $50 for a parking pass just to have all the spaces taken up by cars with no pass for WEEKS! The “landscapers” just blow all the dirt, rocks and trash around. Management are RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL avoid at all costs. All the 5 star reviews are 100% paid for or made by the staff

Me and my little family recently just moved in here. Ana was very friendly and communicative, and has been helpful since our move in. Only thing is our A/C isn’t cooling at all :/ and heater takes a good while heating up

I’m currently living in an apartment that has no working a/c. I have informed the leasing office every day for the past 2 weeks, about this issue with no resolution. Every time I call office management tells me something different. Not only that the manager is so rude and ugly no professionalism, what so ever. It is HOT in this place. I called earlier and the manager said...the maintenance team is picking up trash... I mean excuse me what about my AC. Her rude response was theyll get to your apt later. 😠 😡

ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES!If you decide to move here, just be aware this is not your home it’s the roaches. I currently live here and the apartment is infested beyond belief. Can’t set a plate on the counter for 2 seconds before a roach makes it way to my dinner. They made their way into my child’s formula, refrigerator, bedroom and living room, it’s hard to sleep at night. Pest control doesn’t have a clue on what to do. I’ve called them at least 6 times. The dumpsters are disgusting, trash overflows into the residents doorways. The entrance gate never works, so all the stray dogs, cats and crack heads have free access to you at all times. I’m convinced the WWE does live tapings of their show in the apartment above me because all night hear, slamming, stomping and all kinds of chaos that keeps my 3 month old son and I up. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Horrible horrible. I’ve been with no a/c for almost a month already. I call everyday to see if someone is going to fix it and they just say they have other apartments to go to first. My apartment is so hot and my kids feel sick sometimes cause how hot it gets. Worst apartments ever. Also the restroom toilet leaks as well as the ceiling. We can’t even use the restroom without a puddle of water coming out. I’ve only been here 2 months and already having so many problems with my apartment.

I love living at Palo Alto Apartment Homes. I have always been attended to when I have requested a work order or needed the staff for anything. The staff is friendly and so helpful. I am glad I moved here!!

Research before you move in, walkways are filthy no one cleans them up. Have asked multiple times to have them powered wash and Raven said they were on it and nothing. Apartments are infested with roaches, pest control doesn’t work. You can be spotless clean but these roaches are monster and don’t disappear. Management is horrible, Sandra always says she will look into it and contact you back and NEVER does. Lynn is just like all the other management we’ve had, promises to get this complex together, promises to get things done in your apartment just to shut you up and when it’s time to touch base bc nothing had been done she avoids you! Maintenance does half crap jobs to just patch up the issue until it becomes a bigger issue. Dumpsters are a damn mess and constant overflow, mailboxes have been broken for over 2 years, laundry room is boarded off for nearly 2 years so there’s no laundry room as listed in the description of what the apartment offers. You have a tow truck company that is a fraud towing vehicles in complex. Work orders that never get touched, these apartments can be compared to moving into the courts just paying full price! Stray cats and dogs, apartment complex is a damn mess with trash thrown everywhere, you have the large dumpster in the back that draws people who don’t live in the apartments to come toss their trash in it, was told they have it there so they can toss the bulk trash that are placed in dumpsters which is Bull bc bulk trash such as (mattresses, chairs, furniture, etc) will stay next to the dumpsters for weeks! Charlie was the only person who actually kept this complex clean. You have people who have their balcony’s piled with items and it looks tacky and dirty not very appealing and from what I recall we were told balcony needed to be kept clean or there would be fines. I’ve expressed my concern and was told inspection was coming and still nothing! Kids like to bully around here, constant gun shots, break ins, stolen vehicles, murderers live here, kids shooting at their parents, etc. Also, please don’t ask me to email or call the office bc I’ve done it over 20 times and this is why I’m leaving a review now bc s*** doesn’t get done. Lynn is just as bad as every manager we’ve had just says ok and brushes everything under the rug. Fix the complex with the rent money damn apartments look worse then the courts!Edit: Maintenance manager Steve is very unprofessional with rumors of others, appearance is very sloppy and just sits on his rear end while he has others doing the job. This is why work orders do not get done bc he does not help, as a manager and having a team there is no I in team.

I been here since last year and management has imporved and maintenance has been working hard and getting the property looking great again.

My apartment is great overall but the property is poorly kept mainly dirt everywhere no landscaping and if they do come they are walking around acting dumb for the most part. Been here 1yr and 4months and there has been a raid, a stand off then the day after that a murder suicide. My truck got stolen in April and I requested to see surveillance footage and they told me corporate has to send it to me yet its been about 5months and am yet to get anything. Property is just going downhill they dont bother to fix our property I understand its considered a low income property but that doesnt mean it has to look like one. People with ac window units, clothes on the balcony or balconys a complete mess, dumpsters with trash or furniture around it its ridiculous. Building are full of spider webs and walls look extremely dirty, paint on doors all chipped. Entrance is very dark at night we have no lights at the entrance of the apartments. Have voiced my concerns to sandra and lynn and they say they are working on it but it has been months and nothing. Property in general needs work really wish corporate would come check the property for themselves.

Sandra always every helpful & when I need help always on Stat.And she enjoys her job shes highly skilled in her job.

Ive been living here for a year already and I can say that like every apartment complex weve had our ups and downs.... but mostly weve had ups. I want to give a big shout out to Sandra that has been there helping us through all our ups and downs thank you girl especially for helping out my husband when Im always at work lol. All the team is great Lynn and Obie too. But Sandra has been the one to deal with my crazy behind lol joke. Thank you.

Worst place to live trash be every where in the apt even in the front of the building stray dogs in groups , homeless people in the hall ways touching people door knobs seem if there open, very rude management

Moved in here and they gave it to me dirty didn’t do the walk through , mold in my apartment and when they evicted me for not paying the rent cause I was without ac for a week they also took my belongings BEFORE my eviction date and changed the locks so I couldn’t get anything back !

Mundo and Steve came by and fix are Kitchen sink and are thermostat for the AC like there serves

Living here was the worst experience my family and I have ever had. We lived below a family of 6, four little boys {in a 2 bdr} and they were constantly flooding our bathrooms. One of their pipes busted...in our unit!! Maintenance NEVER came to assess any water damage, the office staff really doesnt care {they dont have to live there} and they truly made me feel bothersome in most interactions I had with them. While packing to move, I made one last ditch effort to get SOMEONES attention regarding the mold that my family & I had been living in, to no avail.Theyll see this and then someone will want to speak on it 😷.

No y’all do not. The management is TRASH. Y’all do not fix anything. My celing is litterally falling down and I have been waiting for it to get fixed for three weeks. I have three different leaks on the restroom again waiting to be fixed for three weeks. I have mold build up everywhere. The house is filled with flies bc theor is so much sitting water. Also may I add it was 85 degrees in my house and “y’all couldn’t do nothing about it” it was 98 degrees outside 85 in my house and y’all left me my family and my 2m old child with NOTHING. And still leaveing is with nothing and it’s been 3 days. YALL ARE TRASH.

Whatever liquid is coming out when the A/C is running with the dirt is turning my tub yellow. I have put in a few work orders about it and nothing have been done. Now whatever the other compartment is in my bathroom, there is now some liquid falling out of that onto my bathroom floor. They had only painted over the old tub and wall so now after cleaning it, the paint is breaking off the tub walls and out of the tub. So instead of replacing things that needed to be replaced they just masked over them to try to make them look better.The dirt have stopped falling but the liquid haven’t. The problem still have not been fixed, the yellow color in my tub is getting worse. It’s so bad that I don’t shower or take bathes in my tub because I don’t know want it on my skin. I really just want to move out now.

Feeling secure and safe. the staff and maintenance are remarkable. Always with a smile and ready to answer any questions and make life a whole lot comfortable and nicer. Rooms are spacious and clean. Community center always has activities, after school , classes and food pantry for residents. I give it a 5 STAR. I am home!

Just wanted to say Mrs Lynne at palo alto apartment homes is freakin awsome! I just moved in about 3 or 4 months ago but everytime I have a problem she gets it done. Very helpful very friendly !! Thanx I appreciate ur going out of ur way to help out.

Stay far away from this place! The management doesn’t care if mold is growing all throughout your apartment. Not to mention the HVAC unit that wasn’t working for 6.5 months which is probably why the mold is so bad. They just want you to wash everything in the washer and call it a day. The mold is so bad in the apartment that it’s growing on clothes, under the mattress, curtains, window sill, kids backpack, all throughout the closet, and in the bathroom. This mold is TOXIC and the office does NOT care. Your health is not one of their concerns! The Health Department has been contacted. Avoid this place at all costs!

Raven CORNEY (Area regional manager) is by far the worst person to ever do business with. This monster is in charge of four apartment complexes here in San Antonio. The apartment that I was renting on Palo Alto had issues with the AC being broken for more than 3 months with no one even offering to put units in my window during the summer time. It was infested with roaches and no pest control. The apartment complex was overrun with homeless people trying to break into units. The gates have been broken for years and never fixed which was an easy access for these homeless people. I brought it to the attention of Raven corny to let her know I felt unsafe in the apartment complex especially since a drugged up homeless man was trying to get into my apartment at 2am in and instead of letting me break my lease because i feared for mine and my 3 year olds safety she made me pay for the following month and then also gave me a $925 fee for terminating my lease which was not told until after I already ended my contract. This corporation isnt compassionate to their residents or care for their wellbeing.**STAY AWAY FROM ANY VESTA CORP COMMUNITIES **

Was thinking on leasing here the pictures on like make it look nice until you actually see it in person. Multiple apartments have junk all in the balconies some even have bed sheets covering their balcony. Grass is mainly dead just dirt everywhere they dont even at least have mulch or flowers NOTHING!!!!! Dumpsters completely over filled, they are worried about everyone having a parking permit but yet cant even fit the property. They never answer the phone and when they do they are rude. Pool area looked trashed as well pool was brown, kids roaming by themselves no supervision. Entrance gate was open the whole time didnt even have a code anyone could just drive in Laundry room was boarded up, trash area had the doors practically falling off. Safe to say I am not leasing here after all didnt even fill an application out after all just driving around was enough to decide not to apply

There have been multiple car thefts this month on your property and many more through out this year. No type of notice to any of the residents to warn or keep a look out for any suspicious activity has been sent out. Your property has gates that never work properly especially the gate that has access to the highway. Cameras that are never checked to give updates to residents to look out for suspicious vehicles on your property. No type of security to keep the property, residents and community safe. Especially the new management had done anything to help improve this property. I dont want to hear about my inconvenience or my experience or having to contact someone else to help my situation.

Do not move here bad experience ever they do not care about the mold they will take forever to fix anything they left me 6 1/2 months without air conditioning unit and now my stuff is full of mold and she just recommended me to throw my stuff in the washer and it will come right off that was her response like ok stupid how am I going to throw my bed and couches in the washer no common sense at all like who hired her. Toxic black mold growing everywhere so obviously it’s in the air me and my five kids are sick because of it

I dont even know where to begin. These apartments are horrible! The first couple of months after living here I almost got attacked after getting home from work due to no lighting in the hallways or the car port. Luckily when I told the ladies at the front office they actually did something about it and put lights. Ive been complaining about the roaches for months carpet needs to be taken out And replaced. Sadly I had to renew my lease when I was trying tell the manager my concerns I couldnt even get a sentence out before he rudely interrupted me more than once. Theres no point in even talking to him. He doesnt even let you finish speaking. Car permit ridiculous again like I said I was trying to explain my situation to the manager he cuts me off going on about following rules and laws I wish they followed code compliance. Trash cans are always overfilled full of trash disgusting bags thrown all over the floor mattresses, couches. Gates are broken all three dont work. I still have work orders that have never been completed Ive had to send emails gone into the office to resubmit work orders over and over its Ridiculous. The Pool is still closed. I wish I could speak to someone who would listen. Besides the manager because I cant get one word in with him his customer service is a very unprofessional. Whoever is responding to the comments I dont want the number to the apartment complex give me the number to corporate or the real owners. Unfortunately I had to give one star to comment.

I have been a resident here for several months now. I have seen the changes that new management has implemented and the difference is night and day. Another resident posted that work orders are lost or are never completed. I suggest to that resident to use the online work order submission. It is transparent and I can track the progress. I am also excited that there will be a parking permit system. Management is trying very hard to clean up the property and make sure that parking is only for residents and not outsiders that do not belong here. I look at this way, instead of complaining about problems, why not help with solutions? We all live here, lets work with management to make our home better! Im also excited about the new programs being rolled out: Health program, more events, and community involvement. Thank you management! We appreciate your effort! I know it is a work in progress...not perfect...but it is a step in the right direction!

I was considering in moving into these apartments until I passed by and checked the place out. Wow I was in shocked. The whole apartment complex was filled with trash everywhere. I understand that people don’t pickup after themselves but come on. It’s your job to make sure your complex is clean and inviting. This place needs new Management and new Maintenance personal.

I have broken dishwasher 2 main drawers Ive been asking to fix to put my silverware in. No pool been here 5 yrs . Fights kids all time. 2 of our vicheles stolen. N omg our apartment stays clean an roaches like crazy.

This place sucksIve had my car towed here twice alreadyAnd theyre the ones that told me to park up front this is a dirty place the people that work here dont do their jobs it takes forever to get anything done I have part of both of my kids rooms wall missing for yhe last 2 almost 3 weeks alreadyoand all they say when I ask them when it will get done they keep telling me this or next week. This place use to he good but it has gone down hill. I have had my car towed and broken into and paying for for things that we dont even get to use I have been here going on three years and the pool has never been open or even cleaned to be frank. It would not suggest that you or anyone you know to live here run away as fast as you can.

Its been a couple of months now since I showed the maintenance the holes where the rats are coming in through in my kitchen and still nobody has come. I finally bought myself a trap and was able to catch 5 rats in 3 days. My refrigerator didnt work and my food went bad 3 times! Because it took them 2 months to fix it. Because apparently to them, how they said its not an emergency. Seriously are you kidding me?

Ive lived in these apartments for about 7 months, I continuously have problems with my a.c. and nothing gets done. I have a toddler and an infant and this my ac out is unacceptable. They always give me some kind of run around and whatever they do to try and fix it obviously does not work, which Ive told them time and time before..it literally goes in one ear and out the other. Theres a huge ant problem..NOTHING seems to get rid of them, had them since we moved in. Im not one of these section 8 residents (no offense, wish i was) but I work hard to be able to afford this place and for what!? To have all these problems and no one to get things done properly!!!!

Still have not received my deposit check. No email or phone calls for confirmation. Has been over the amount of time I was to receive. I call and get the run around. I wish a high up manager would call me.

If I could give 0 stars I would. 10 out of 10 do not recommend. Office NEVER answers phone. Therefore could not obtain a residents parking permit then had to pay $250 to a wrecker company to get my vehicle. Dumpsters overflow. Balcones are hoarder storages. And Pool is never clean.

I am not sure what really is going on here, I been here almost 3 weeks. I have a broken dishwasher that leaks water all over the kitchen floor. The oven has missing parts which I have not been able to cook. The hallway bathroom over flows and was never cleaned. My son found a scorpion and small roaches crawling on the wall. Its very frustrating to move into a place with these kind of issues and have nothing done by management, I feel ignored.

Been here 2yrs. see an awesome change in staff. only thing is trying to get maintenance for work orders so I kinda gave up. I really did like the moment when we could do it online made it so much more convenient.gates havent been fixed but dont bother me much cuz ppl who live here are not as friendly but it can be avoided by staying to ones self anyways.but ya know we never did get a chance to ever use the pool.whats up with that? I understand staff has been busy with changes but we pay all for all amenities dont we?

I had a terrible experience with the Rosmonts at Palo Alto apartments, they made it sound so good, for example that you are going to get the place and if denied you get your deposit back, will that was not my case, however i was denied and they cashed my deposit of $300 the same day i was denied, so they did not return my deposit, it was bad service, and i am still demanding my deposit, they ignore my calls. I wander what they do with all the deposits of all the clients that dont qualify? They making a killing!

Just waiting for my lease to end. Rat problem, its been about 3 months now. Still nobody has come. Ive boughten stuff for it nothing has worked. Climbs on my fridge and my table, bitten through our bread. Fridge problem, food spolied twice cause it took them 2 months to change it. Had to complain to 3 different ppl. Stove oven doesnt work, It takes 2 hours for a pizza to cook and over an hour for a cake to bake. There is still blood in the hallway walls outside of my apartment from 2 months ago, cause of certain neighbors. Maintenance is a joke. Other than management, the rodents, the broken appliances, and some loud neighbors, The apartments themselves are pretty ok.

ROSEMONT @ PALO ALTOIts not for most. I moved out May 15, 2018I have lived here over 4years and had a neighbor that lived above me that sold drugs to my kids friends in the 6th 7th and 8th grade. Ive notified the office and they did NOTHING. The couple would fight all the time. It was so loud it sounded like a bowling alley in my ceiling. I had to confront them several times a week. Maintenance orders would go months w/o attention, once 1 whole year went by before my apartment got any work done only because it was a yearly inspection. DAMN SHAME! I had to change my locks on my own 2 times due to doors closing improperly. The decided to accommodate me with 175$ off 1 months rent after years of taking care of things they should have.I took care of my own pest control because the Apartment was unreliable but I never had any issues with pest.Theyve been under new Management since October but the only change was they wont allow the residents to have packages delivered in the office anymore. Hell the Post office wont even deliver packages in the mail boxes because they always had people breaking in.New Management Does Not Mean Better Services or Better ManagementI did what i thought was best moving hete but ive since earned 3 degrees and finally bought my own home. Dont come here unless theres no other option available.

We just moved out not too long ago. This place has been by far the absolute worst community I have ever lived in. The managers alsways seemed disorganized. I could never get a clear answer about my lease, my rent, or my work orders. When i went in to ask for a copy of my ID and check stubs they had told me that they lost it! I couldnt beliee it. This office is very unprofessional. Never in my life have i been so happy to move. The apartments themselves are ok but its all cheap construction. If you wanta great place to stay then stay far away from here. If you want people to sell you drugs and hear gunshots and fear for your life, then this place is for you.

Rosemont at Palo Alto is a great community! I am a Apartment Locator with Apartments Today and send my clients directly to Rosemont at Palo Alto Apartments when we are looking to stay on the Southside. The Office Staff is amazing and has great customer service. The Maintenance Staff is friendly and takes care of problems quickly. Community is clean, quiet, and well maintained! Defiantly a must see!

My kids and their mom just moved in this past Friday and ac doesnt work. Called front office to tell them they sent maintenance and she was told the building is old and to close certain vents to get rooms cold...um its central air you shouldnt have to close any vents!!! My kids say they sweat when they sleep maintenance does not know what they are doing!!!

The office staff r very rude, first they tell me to go for a package then when i get there they say come bk we open at 10.Mind you i jus got shots in my kneck due to an accident i had in November. Its 36degrees outside im supposed to be resting nd then she had the courage to say we did you a favor by not sending it bk. I was like wow im srry i had to get injections cuz i was in an accident nd couldnt come cuz it was cold nd i was in pain nd couldnt walk.. That was the manager that spoke to me in a rudely manner, thank you for your professianal assistant in being a rude an awful manager!

Maintenance is unreliable I have had work orders pending for like 2 months and nothing has happen no visit or anythingThan I get a call and tell them I’m free after one and they come 10 and cancel one of my work orders

Been here 2 weeks live in front by office .they stoled my moms truck this morning..right by the so called gate suppost to be locked and closed and they suppost to have security guards where r they. These place they need more then one. And then its summer pool not even open..

Dont even deserve that one star...made promises to a family who lost everything in hurricane Michael..started the paparwork and I quote..dont worry we got you. Never even called back to say whether or not we had a home there... disgustingly shameful.

Is good, very peaceful, Im only giving a four stars because I think they should put surveillance cameras I was using my uncles car and someone stole the plates from it, and secondly they should fix the pool we are in July already and pool not open I understand that is expensive but they should of have handle it before summer started, other than that no complaints...

I have nothing really bad to say just that my AC would always go out but they would come right away to fix it ... other than that very quite and no problems I wouldnt say ghetto because any where u go their is always gonna be the one person who is ghetto n kinda messes it up for the rest of us lmao but very good community...

I have lived here for 8 years and this place has only gotten worst when you report anything that is going on at your resident they take forever to fix it the swimming pool has been shut the whole summer and supposeably thier fixing it but never see anyone really fixing anything the management is so poor all they care about is thier money they hired a security he is never around and when he is he is out there taking pictures of the sky and other things I would never recommend this place to anyone they burglarize to often break into cars maintanence man is always walking around with a wagon looking everywhere not doing anything dumpsters are always overflowing with trash trash that is also left on floor in bags because dumpsters are to small they never answer the phone in case of an emergency spider webs in the hallway exit signs and lights broken is anyone ever decides to move in these apartments I suggest you go to sapd headquarters give them the address and inform yourself of everything going on here and what kind of reports they have and believe me thier not anything nice the crime here has gone up to ugly thank god im am moving out this month the 1 of August.

If section 8 is your thing welcome home, poor service low lifes everywhere low quality day in and day out please do not move here unless you have no choice and if thats the case still try somewhere else. Thieves, fake gangstas, unemployment, is what you will find here!!! Good luck

Its very bad and disappointing I call the office to fix something and they never come and they barely clean the pool, the pool is so disgusting, every thing is disgusting.

Management is the worst, theyre always changing but this time the people in the office are the worst ones yet. Very unprofessional.

The leassin agent kassandra was a wonderful and very comprehended in her work she also provided plenty of help with everything.in overall it was a wonderful experience

There is an infestation of roaches and they dont send the bug man even after you write a service request on thier website or in person in the office. The staff are very rude. Get Out.........Dont move here.

The management broje into my apartment once i was going for abwalk and they said i couldnt be out past ten o clock then the patrol rent a cop was very rude this is the worst what ever you do dont live here its not worth it

Just moved in everything that’s been a problem with our unit got fixed ASAP. Now just waiting on the front gates to get fixed so we don’t have to worry bout our cars

Ive been living here almost 2 years my A/C went out one time and they fixed it the same day

Office never answers the phones they are no help and dont try to help you out and I had a toilet leaking and we came to turn it off and then three months later they fixed it and it only took 5 mins to fix and he made a mess

Manager is very nice. They worked with us and are easy going.

Residents don’t know how to clean up after themselves and just throw throw trash on the floor 😂😂🤮

Ive been living here for 6 months and already trying to break my lease I cannot get anyone one the phone to answer my questions also this place has a huge issue with roaches its ridiculous

Im fed up, desperate, Ive talked and talked to the office for 4 long years. For them to come fix my bathroom, theres a leak. You cant live like this. We pay for 2 bathrooms. We can only use one. They always have excuses for not fixing it, the stupidest ones Ive ever heard. They dont have money. To fix it then What do I pay...as soon as possible we will leave I dont recommend it.... apart from that they never answer the phone they dont care about your salad there is mold due to the humidity

It is excellent attention from the moment you arrive, a familiar and very quiet environment, safe to live in.
