Great seeing these 5 star reviews. My experience was not 5 star worthy. Not even close.My realtor was Sarah J. , She was eager to take me as a client and offered to show me houses almost on the fly when i requested. Unfortunately thats about the end of solid positivity I can give. Everything else was a nightmare.I was using Sarah to sell my house and also help me find a house to purchase. (This was my first mistake, lesson learned to never use the same realtor for both transactions). On the buying side, I ended up finding the builder and floor plan on my own to build a house. There were multiple errors on paperwork that you would think the realtor would screen and walk you through them. Sarah did not. All she did was forward papers over to me to sign. She didnt screen them or walk me through any verbiage. We had not heard from Sarah for almost 3 months before she randomly shows up at closing to basically collect a check. She would reach out to the builder for information but would not communicate with us and she knows this.On the selling side, her communication was horrible. She would go weeks even months without any update or information. No follow up or to ask if we needed anything or have any questions. While we were waiting for the completion of my new house being built , Sarah never once reached out with comps of similar houses or stayed on top of newly sold houses. I had to literally give her addresses for her to check in my neighborhood that recently sold. I told her to list my house at a certain price, we discussed, came to an agreement and she still listed it below what i wanted. Every time I had a question or wanted to discuss something, she would always be driving or her kids would be in the background screaming and crying. Every time. There was a time where something needed to be corrected asap and I couldnt get a hold of her. I had to reach out to her broker so that they can tell her she needs to get back to her client. After that she all of a sudden could call me. Half of the communication was via Text because again she would have kids in the background making all this noise. I had to request for her to put a for sale sign out and she probably still hasnt came back to get the lock box she put on the house. The house i was selling was in very very good shape which is why it sold in 4 days. She offered to get some painters out to paint a few rooms, they did a piss poor job, you can see the old colors bleeding through the new paint. I had to move my things around the house 3 times and coordinate with my job because of the bad scheduling time with these painters (her friends).To top it off, during the selling of my house the buyers wanted certain items in my house that I did not want to give away. One of those items being a Mini Fridge Valued at 300 dollars. Sarah informed me she would get me a new one when we close on the new house. Welp that time came, i sent her the link to one that cost 370 and she said it was too much that she couldnt afford it after getting paid at least 20k for the profit of me building a house. I simply told her dont worry about it.I understand agents have multiple clients and are very busy but you are not the only one who is busy. Showing up to closing after 3 months of no communication is not acceptable. That shows you that we really did not need your assistance. We are the client. You work for us. You need to be able to manage your time, be knowledgeable at your job , reasonably available and understand that you are there to help your clients through the process by making it less stressful not add to it. Both my wife and I wish we had never had Sarah as a realtor. Our house only sold because of the love and care we put into it.So although Rise Realty Group MAY have other good agents I warn anyone to not use Sarah J. as your realtor. She is unprofessional, unreliable and full of excuses. I felt as if I did her job for her.

We thank God He put Laurie in our path to help us on our “forever home” buying journey. We came to Laurie initially needing a local realtor who was plugged in to the area and could be a “boots on the ground” presence for us (as we were buying from out of town). First off, she went above and beyond delivering on this - she gave us much needed insights based off our family’s goals (which she took the time to know like the back of her hand… sometimes it felt like she knew them better than us!). Alrighty, so, here’s my story and my experience. I’m moving from Northern Virginia to San Antonio to get closer to family in New Mexico and California (neither states I want to live in, I also dislike Arizona) So, I figured I’d go to Texas. I looked initially at Houston, then Dallas, and finally settled on San Antonio. Now, idk where to live there, idk what’s safe or what’s not. So, I joined a local San Antonio FB group.
