The Quarry Townhomes have been my home for eight years now and it is really a great place to live with a great school district. If you have little ones, and if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood that does not just allow anybody in this is your place. The staff is very friendly, almost like Family. The maintenance team That’s a good job and a great effort above and beyond. I hardly give out reviews, but Quarry Townhomes simply deserves nothing but five stars for keeping up to the standards of a great living facility for you and your loved ones. You will love this place.

For many years, I rented an apartment at this property. The property management group is professional, responsive, and conscientious. Assistant community manager, Cynthia, excels in her position, as she is engaged, and dedicated to maximizing customer service and the living experience at The Quarry. Cynthia researched an issue for me, consisting of an error made by the prior ownership in not reflecting a rental payment. This error adversely affected my credit. Cynthia assumed the responsibility and significant challenge to confirm that the payment was made - on time - which subsequently restored my credit. Going above and beyond the job description is not common. All properties have issues, and no rental property is perfect. However, not only is this a beautiful, friendly, and extremely convenient location for working downtown, or accessing San Antonios many cultural events that make it a unique city, but Cynthia enhances your quality of life there by being kind, empathetic, and entirely devoted to her tenants.This is a property which feels like home, because of the people.The Quarry offers beautiful and tasteful apartments - and the grounds are lovely. You will not be disappointed. I provide the highest recommendation possible!

I have lived here since February 2024 and I love the floorplan, the connected garage, the homey feel with all the oak trees, the trim at the top of the ceilings, extra tall ceilings, kitchen cabinets and it is about $200 less from where I lived before around the corner. Yes, it is an older complex with some maintenance needs that arise, but it is such a beautiful complex overall. The manager has been terrific since and before I moved in. She and the assistant mgr have been professional, concerned and attentive. I didnt like that I had to use their internet provider Spectrum as part of my rent package, but I have had a great run with Spectrum. I have referred friends here too.

PS: a lot of brand new new 5 star reviews by accounts with very few or first time reviews.. fyi.There have been quite a few complex wide maintenance issues from multi day water shutoffs to ants infesting entire buildings. A couple things were stolen out of my brothers car. Ive had a plumbing issue that took 2 weeks to fix with another week of me not knowing since no one told me they fixed the issue below me and didnt notify me or repair the drywall in my bathroom. lack of communication on maintenance and issues is very common. One of the office guys accused me of stealing a package that the Amazon box notified/ told me was mine and I didnt double check the name since I was expecting a package anyway.On a plus Cynthia from the front office is very helpful and kind. She is great.

Has changed quite a bit since I first moved in. Management seems to continuously change and lately, been having more issues in regards to maintenance, appearance and especially the parking situation. Drove around for an hour, looking for a parking spot, and couldn’t park in certain areas as they’re being occupied with one container of wood parked at the front due to MORE renovations. Utterly ridiculous, only parking available is the handicap and “unused” reserved parking spots; however, couldn’t park in those areas without the risk of getting towed yet AGAIN!!! Issues with the pool and gym getting renovated timely after the reopening was postponed twice, the limited and ridiculous parking situations, water outages for hours in every building every other week, can’t get maintenance to at least come out and look at the leak from underneath the toilets. I just resigned and my family already offered me moving in with them to avoid these constant horrible conditions. In regards to renovations, can’t put lipstick on a pig and call it beautiful because at the end of the day. It’s still a pig. Those looking for reviews, please understand that there are many such as myself whom are taking the time to write such long reviews because THERE ARE ONGOING ISSUES that are not getting resolved. 8 Horrible reviews in one week from different residents, yup definitely something seriously wrong here.

I could not speak of how management was 2 years ago because I wasn’t a resident yet, I had never got water or electricity shut off since I moved here, but here’s my personal experience. Late last night I put a few work orders that I had put off until “later” which now needed immediate attention, and I thought “now I’m going to have to wait several days to have someone come to fix those several issues”, but to my surprise when I got home from work today(the very next day) all the issues were fixed and notes were left by the technician explaining what he did for each work order and how things got fixed and extra instructions on how things could happen. Also a bag of Pop corn was left on the counter letting me know they “popped” in to complete my repairs. The parking issues with the renovations were just a temporary issue while they were beautifying our places to live .. which now we’re enjoying and have our parking spaces back. I just renewed my lease which I usually never do but I feel happy and at home here .

Okay I really like these apartments and the location next to the quarry. However I will say that they do not offer a military discount. But all units come with a washer and dryer. They are at a decent price. Staff is nice. Be aware that you should stay within your budget. So if you’re looking to stay at 1200, max for your rent and utilities this might not be the apartment complex for you. However you never know what the staff might be willing to workout for you. I really do enjoy the staff here and the amenities that come with the complex. The gym is small but has everything you need. They even have a dog wash room with two stations. It truly is a nice location. I only rated 4 stars because I did not go fully through with renting after I submitted my application. However I would recommend this complex.

Things have majorly improved at this complex since Greystar came in. Work orders get done quickly, service outages are communicated better, and they host tons of events now at the community center. The staff is also very friendly. Very happy with this change!

I have lived at The Quarry Apartments for 3 1/2 years. During that time, Ive seen two or three management groups come and go. All made wonderful promises when they arrived of great service...ALL never delivered. In mid-August of last year, GREYSTAR took over management of The Quarry Apartments. Greystar has achieved more in their first 10 months, then the other management firms in the prior 3 1/2 years combined. They inherited a lot of work to do...and they hit the ground running. And they havent slowed down. While this property has always been very beautiful and attractive from the outside...it now has the superior management it has needed for years. And Ive got to give a huge shout out to their Director of Maintenance, Brandon. He and his crew are the best. And the Property Manager, Tisha Steele, leads all of them and sets the standard. Exceptional leadership.

Things here were fine enough two years ago, but they have gotten far worse. Finding parking is a nightmare. They suggest you purchase a reserved space, but when I did that my car got towed from the space I paid for, as the office staff double booked the spot. There was never an apology for their massive error. After that incident they offered to let me choose another reserved space, but the only one available was not near my building. I continued to be charged for parking for three months, for a spot I did not have. For months now the parking lot has been littered with construction equipment. When they work on units they leave construction debris in the hallways, contributing to the general dirty feel of the breezeways. The pool was closed for much of last summer (the prime pool months!) and when I asked why we were paying an amenity fee when both the pool and gym were closed I was told your mailbox is an amenity. Now, the pool is once again closed, on a Saturday for painting without warning. People make weekend plans to utilize our amenities, only to have them unavailable, without warning. This is incredibly disappointing. I would not move here again.

Haven’t moved in yet but wanted to say that the application and viewing process with Rachel was great! She is so helpful and responsive and was very thorough on our tour. I’m excited to be a resident! Will update after moving in.UPDATE: after about six months here I have a few issues. Maintenance is great, but my partner’s car was stolen from the parking lot and management did nothing. Our mail slot has been broken since we moved in as well. Parking is very limited and renovations have been going on the entire time we’ve been here, limiting parking further. Maybe not worth the high price.

I am also pleased with the new management team. There were problems but they seem to be making good progress and creating a much better relations with the residents. Maintenance was always pretty good and has improved also, I think their problem was staffing shortages which seem to be improving.

Absolutely love the office staff - especially Irma. Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. Irma went above and beyond to help with system issues making sure we could get an apartment for our kiddos. The property is well maintained, and quiet. All apartments are receiving major upgrades to the kitchen and bathrooms. Maintenance crew is so nice and helpful.

The apartment itself was in good condition upon move-in, and the staff were friendly and helpful during move-in. I really love how the buildings look and how nice the residents are.However, since moving in we have paid a monthly fee to have a washer and dryer. Those appliances were supposed to be there when we came, but they werent. When we would call or go to the office, we were always promised they would be installed within the week, and it took almost four months. We were also told we would be reimbursed for those fees, and we still havent received any reimbursement.Also, any maintenance problems take a really long time to get addressed. Nobody showed up to fix my toilet after putting in two requests, so my roommate had to fix it for me.We have been and currently pay for a valet trash amenity, but we have never had anyone take our trash.I really like the apartment, and the staff was awesome during the moving in process, but I feel like once we moved in any issues we had didnt matter.I know theres a transition in management, but I would really like to stay, so Im hoping things will smooth out soon.

Love the location. Pretty nice apartment.When I first moved in here in fall of 2019, I had some issues with maintenance requests not being addressed (for months at a time). I was told by staff that this was due to a change in management. I still think there should have been more accountability.Since then, I havent had any issues. The water heater in my unit stoped working and maintenance came to check it out within hours and replaced it the very next morning. It seems like the new management is trying to make some improvements: new laundry machines in on-site facility (which were badly needed), new mail boxes, self-service package center, remote control gate entrance, landscaping.The bottom line is that on a day-to-day basis, I love living here. I walk to just about everything. I really like my unit: nice paint color, good carpets, great floor plan, cant hear neighbors through the walls.

It is 8:15 p.m. on Christmas, 2023.One of my best friends is a resident at the Quarry at Alamo Heights. Her apartment is currently flooded from numerous leaks in the ceiling of the bathroom and living room. My friend has left multiple voice and written messages over the past couple of days about the issue. No one has responded.My friend is immunocompromised from chemo. Her apartment is dangerous. She could easily slip and fall. The apartment may also be unhealthy. And no one is doing anything.Emergencies happen any time, even holidays. No one at the Quarry at Alamo Heights is responding to her calls for help in this dire situation.Would you really want to live here? Find someplace else.

They are arrogant and never help. The worst admin ever specially the new manager Angie. We have been here over 4 years and we agreed 5 months ago to renew contract with the condition that they will resolve the long list of issues and renovate our apartment (of course for more money). Meeting after meeting and nothing has been done. Last time the manager said remind me what we owe you. Yes, I may have notes but I dont even know where they are . They dont care.The pool is frequently dirty and now that the weather is nice is when they decided to renovate the pool area, they charge you extra for the pool but you cannot use it for several weeks.

So overall it is a good apartment complex. They have updated their water systems and no more water shut offs, they have remodeled and improved their look. However, I have had my mail tampered with while new management took over. my packages would say that they were left with someone in the office. I would go to the office and they did not have some of my packages several times. I get monthly subscriptions and i never had a problem until like I said New Management took over. Yes they are pricey but worth the stay, no break ins and no noise. no crimes and they have patrol and it is gated. luxury living. Staff keeps changing, but overall a descent home.

We’ve been here since we sold our house in September. IT’s minutes from EVERYTHING! Yes, parking has been a pain sometimes because they’re doing renovations. But in the end the issues are worth it. Look, I’m a pain in the a$$ if there are issues. But I honestly don’t have real complaints. Parking can be a pain if a neighbour is having a party. But if you rent a reserved parking space it completely solves the problem. And the costs for a reserved space is completely worth it, they don’t charge a lot for it either. If I wasn’t moving out of San Antonio I could totally see myself living here for a lot of years. And if we move back at any point this place will be the first place I look to.

Are you a fan of being disrespected and overcharged? If having your emails and voicemails and questions ignored is something that interests you, live here! When you finally go to the front office and question it, they will blame you and act like they have done nothing wrong! Management is awful and when, despite a 24 hour maintenance line, your AC goes out, it’s 80 degrees inside, and you have an elderly grandparent that you care for also suffering in the heat, they won’t send maintenance or a mobile AC unit until their business hours.Absolutely not what it used to be and with costs increasing it makes little sense to live here. Nothing about this place adds up to the cost. It went down the drain fast once the ownership or manager changed and you’ll probably see that in other reviews.The only way to get anyones attention and get the problems in your apartment fixed is to leave a public review but don’t expect responses to your emails and messages through their app or respectful interactions.Also, always be sure to look at ALL the charges on your bill.

When we moved in the floors had paint splatters everywhere, rips in the linoleum flooring. Whoever they have getting these apartments ready for move-in, clearly doesn’t know what they are doing. They PAINTED the bathtub. They installed the toilet paper holder too close together and nothing fits in it. Every surface they could, they just slapped a coat of paint on it. I had rust leaking from our refrigerator. This was all the day we moved in….They also charge you $20 extra every month for “amenities package” but don’t maintain those so called amenities. I can never get a hold of anyone in the office and if I do, they don’t take care of the issue.Absolutely ONLY thing this apartment has going for it, is the dog park. Large, well lit and plenty of lounging chairs. That is about it.Counting down the days until we move!

My family loves it here. Its a friendly and nice community. Residents here are very friendly and also look out for one another. I think the mixture between young and older, along with different races, has made this community a great place to stay. Staff are good. U love the changes the new owners are making, but would love if they kept the residents informed about what is going on. No negative complaints for me.

I just leased my new home at Quarry Station. I really love the apartment and the surrounding new landscaping. I did see some previous reviews that were not so nice but do not agree with any of them. I inspected my new apartment thoroughly. There is no critters and no leaks and it looks like a brand new apartment. In addition, the renovations appear to be organized. The office staff indicated that all construction is finished daily by 5:30 p.m with no weekends. I love office staff as they are always helpful and polite. Very glad to be moving here! I have been very satisfied so far with my experience at The Quarry Station Apartments.The apartments are very well laid out with a lot of great storage space inside and a nice outdoor closet on the patio as well. I love the high ceilings, soothing interior paint colors with details such as crown molding and updated light fixtures throughout and easy to clean laminate flooring. I also love the convenience of the attached garage which has tons of space.They are working on updating the pool area right now and the amenities which is something to look forward to. Management has been very good at letting us know (via text and email) ahead of time if there will be a disruption in water, but this has only been twice in the past month. So far I have not experienced the “work zone” noise that others have complained about, this might be limited to the pool area where they are renovating right now or if there is make ready work happening.I also appreciate that the property management is super responsive to any work orders so far and the maintenance staff (thank you Abel) makes repairs quickly and efficiently . If anything needs to be replaced or installed (screen door and garbage disposal for example) management ordered new parts instead of just moving around stuff from unoccupied apartments. The staff is very curteous and helpful and are available 7 days a week. Management on a regular basis also sends email reminders regarding the standards and guidlines for the property so that everyone can live in a clean, safe and pleasant environment.Great location too, fast access to the highway!

Horrible! This place has been an absolute nightmare for us! They turn the water off at the property frequently for plumbing issues and sometimes without notice! The water was off for 10hrs yesterday and didnt come back on until 9:30pm....unacceptable! So many issues its unreal! The amount of people that have moved out in the last 4 months is not surprising! Lets not mention Maintenance requests, take forever! No one is ever in the office to help and no one ever answers the phone!

Renter Beware! Overpriced and Outdated!I thought long and hard about leaving a review and decided against it until their lack of organization and communication revisited me months after my move-out. First, it was an entire ordeal to get them to switch my appliances. I had to wait almost 6 months and multiple phone calls to get my appliances that were agreed upon at move-in changed. There were soooo many deficiencies found in just the cabinets in said renovated property. The tub was old and crusty along with the shower head that even after replacement was still faulty and attempting to fall off the wall. Paint is the answer to all their problems apparently as my bathtub was painted, not resurfaced. The walls were so thin that as my neighbors were smoking in their garage, I could smell it in the bathroom and sometimes through the apartment that they might as well have been smoking in my apartment. My garage door would not work properly for about the first month. As clean as I kept my space, I still found roaches and other crawlers trying to make their way in from neighbors and outside. The gate was broken 75% of the time I was there. They claimed they didn’t receive my move-out notice, charged carpet cleaning fees they never made mention of (although the carpet was cleaned) because they lack communication and organization across their office team. I provided all keys and fobs on move-out day and was told the property manager would complete the walkthrough the following Monday. Why did I get a call 3 weeks after leaving that they noticed I hadn’t paid my rent??? I’m still waiting for my move out charges statement to be mailed by them.. oh that’s right, never received it although I provided a forwarding address yet a collection company called me today. Make it make sense.If you’re interested in an apartment complex that claims to be renovated and modern that’ll take you back to the nostalgic early 2000s that charges high rent warranted by the fact that you may have an attached garage, this is the place for you.Save yourself the headache honestly and move somewhere else that makes sense for the price you pay.

I moved out February 2022 and my security deposit hasnt been returned yet (its Sept 2022 now). I was a first time renter so my security deposit was 1 month worth of rent. I frequently followed up and they just say its on the way dont worry and during the most recent phone call they even said it has been returned already but I havent received any check in the mail yet. Ive emailed them as well and no response. Dont look into renting here unless youre okay with the possibility of not getting your deposit back.

Believe everything you read! We were lucky enough to be get out of a 15 month lease 10 months early. I just had my first child two weeks ago and this is the last place I would have dreamt of housing a newborn. I was smart enough to document EVERYTHING including every single time the water was shut off. That alone had to be one of my biggest issues with the complex- no water at random times throughout the day without warning. In one instance, I came home midday to do laundry and clean and I noticed one of the maintenance men heading to the back of our apt building with the large tool to shut the water off. I stopped him and spoke to him - apparently there was a leak in another apt and bc each apt building does not have its own shut off valve, water to the ENTIRE complex gets shut off. Other issues included our A/C unit being out for about 6 days until it was able to be fixed properly back in early May. We also had a random leak in our second bathroom several weeks ago. Came home at 10pm only to discover the floor being wet and carpet outside soaked. That was the last straw on top of all my other complaints which is why Im sure they just decided to let us out of lease rather than doing a full mold inspection and replacing the carpets as I had requested. Hopefully this review helps someone make an educated decision. My fiance still chides me for not reading the reviews before deciding on this place. Unfortunately, for the location, this place really stinks!

Over 4 months and still no key faub for the gate as promised and the grills dont work. Took them a week to answer my last maintenance request. CANNOT recommend it. Pool is not open yet either. Many roaches inside, I pay $20 per month for exterminator but still roaches everywhere, Gym has been closed for 2 months for remodel but we dont see any progress there. On top of that I signed the paperwork for early move out (approved) and yet they are trying charge me a termination fee, good thing I held onto my copy! Im suing them for harassment.

Worst admin, lived there for a little over a year. Was charged 700.00 for a move out clean after I had my place professionally cleaned for move out. Maintenance is slow and it took 3 months for them to fix our toilet. Also rent increased from 1700 to 2000 dollars in a year. Would not recommend.

The Quarry at Alamo Heights has been a great, positive experience for my family!The personnel in the office, in particular, Jadie, really do understand the meaning of customer service. The moment my wife and I inquired about leasing Jadie took the lead. She showed us apartments, worked with us on move in dates and had our new apartment spotless for move in.Any issue on apartment maintenance has been quickly taken care of and the grounds and pool area are well maintained.Although apartment living for our family is only temporary I wouldn’t have any problem recommending Quarry at Alamo Heights. Hopefully Jadie and the other personnel in the office will impress you as they did me.

The apartments are nice, but not new. Other than that, the service is terrible, they take months, weeks at best, to complete work orders when something breaks and you have to call them several times. They also cut the water several times a week, sometimes without notice. The only reason Im living here is because I got what seemed like a great discount, but unless things change soon, I doubt Ill renew my lease. This may be an older property and some people do not like older, however the Square footage of the apartments are more spacious then the newer one. I read the reviews and disagree with most of it. The new management has taken great strides to improve all issues and have resolved most. People dont give renovations the time to get completed and it seem selfish considering the new management is making a lot of improvements. This is a quite and beautiful property live in and the maintenance staff is on top of their game as well as the office staff, Tyra does a great job and is often very attentive to all the residents and the manager and assistant manager are quick to resolve any issues that arise in a professional and timely manner.

One of the worse places I have ever lived! Unfortunately, I am stuck here for a year but will not hesitate leaving once my lease is up. When I moved in, my apartment was no where near move in ready and even though they compensated for that while all the repairs were taking place, it was still an inconvenience! When you walk into the leasing office regardless who you speak with you always feel as though you are bothering them. The upkeep of the property is absolutely terrible, garage doors are always broken, beer cans thrown throughout the property and left there for weeks, the pool is always cloudy, and communication is terrible. Regardless the question, no one every knows what is going on. My suggestion to anyone looking to move...stay away from here unless you are looking for a constant headache. I have been nothing but frustrated since the first day I moved in! The location is great but not worth the problems that come along with it. There have been several times that the water has been shutoff with out notice and when you call to ask why you just end up with someone on the other end who has an attitude. I wish I looked at these reviews prior to moving in.

This was the first apartment I rented for my daughter while she attended UIW, August 2016-2017. I dont know where to start as far as the list of problems associated with this property. Very poor maintenance and management... Broken mailboxes, mail being stolen and management blaming USPS to fix, not USPS responsibility and took management almost a month to fix. No grounds maintenance...trash overflowing, disgusting hallways with spider webs, poor lighting, security gates broken, roof leaks walls cracking, no water, BLACK MOLD and the list goes on and on... All which were consistently ignored by management after several complaints not just from my daughter but other tenants living at that property. My daughters apartment was on the second floor and one of the maintenance guys lived right above her... He told her that his kitchen had flooded three times which she had water coming down her kitchen ceiling into the light fixture and creating water damage on the ceilings and walls of the entire apartment. He told her he was going to report it to the office but not to worry about it since she was moving out the following month. It was never fixed... negligence!!! The kitchen light stopped working and you can see the water sitting in the light fixture...This is a fire hazard!!! The apartment could have caught on fire putting all of those peoples lives at risk. There was black mold on the walls and ceiling of my daughters bedroom. My daughter had been sick with a cold and skin rash that we couldnt figure out where it was coming from until we found the black mold. We hired a company to do a mold inspection and found that the humidity in her apartment was 67% the AC filter had never been changed for almost a year and was filthy! My daughter could not live under those conditions so she didnt stay there but we paid off the lease. All this was reported to management and a final walk-through was done with the property manager but was most surprising to me was that there was no remorse or urgency to fix the problems! This place is not safe to live in and the fire department needs to do a thorough inspection of the entire property, the city of San Antonio needs to listen to the tenants complaints and OSHA needs to be contacted because the number of violations and complaints that have been filed are not being dealt with. Do your research.... There are thousands of complaints out there and news articles written about these properties managed by United Apartment Group and owned by some locals.

Where do I even begin? This place has a lot of issues. The water is off an average of two days a week at least. The apartment complex is basically a construction zone. The front gate has worked a total of 3 months out of the two years I have been here, and the surrounding locking walkway gates don’t work at all. We have had major problems with our mailbox getting broken into and packages stolen from our door. There are inch wide cracks running through multiple room walls, from floor to ceiling. I was told they would come in to fix them but that was months ago. I have been promised carpet cleanings and maintenance with no follow up or even record of a request ever put in. Many times I have had to fix the problems with appliances, sinks, and hot water heater myself. The worst was when we had no electricity for 5 days because our apt buildings outside breaker tripped and was blamed on CPS, which was not the case. But it still took maintenance 5 days to flip a switch “we were not allowed to touch”. That’s right each apts power can be turned off with the flip of an unprotected breaker on the outside of each building. The payment system online has charged me multiple times for rent in a month so unless you have a few extra thousand dollars in your account be wary. The pool is unusable in the summer when open because there are no rules and the entire community including non residents fill the area. The “fitness room” is a joke and has never had working equipment. It is currently closed. The grills that are for communal use are filled with cigarette butts and missing the racks to cook on. The construction noise level is intense beginning each day at 8 am and continuing sometimes as late as 8 pm. The management team is going to reply to this with a generic response saying “if I have any issues please come to the office and they will take care of them.” I have been to the office too many times, and voiced my problems to multiple members of their team. The only good part of living here is the surrounding area, but who wants to live in the worst apartment in a nice neighborhood? Before you live here take a moment to read the reviews. The one stars are very accurate and the 5 stars seem like a false review to recover a poor rating. I will say the office workers are very nice people.

Filthy upon move in, bathroom drawers had holes in the bottoms of them, floor covering was coming up. Cabinetry was water stained and made of particle board. Lived on Thurs floor and the screens were popped out of the windows. All items documented on the move in check list. Turned in keys and asked to do a final walk through, was told the property manager would do it the next day...the day after the lease termination.Called management twice to speak about my deposit being returned after move out, left messages to have a return call and never received one. Was not impressed. There are other very nice places with the same amenities were one will find proper business practices and courtesy.

The management here is terrible. I have been living in the apartment complex for approximately three months and I have yet to receive a mail box key or a gate clicker (both were promised to be given on move in date). When they do respond to your voicemail (they never pick up the phone) it often takes about two weeks. The property is nice as long as you don’t need anything from management.

Overall we like this location. we have lived here since 1997 and although it has had its ups and downs we still like our apartment. I am so glad to know the new owners are taking an interest in the property. I am very pleased with the new staff especially Jadie Who has been especially helpful since shes been here.. This apt. complex has been my home for more than two decades. In that time, I have seen more than 40 people come and go in the office. The people we have there now are the best we have ever had! Jadie Loveland gives you the most authentically warm greeting when you enter. Haven’t seen that since the place first opened! She is personable, helpful and caring! 1st class customer service comes naturally to her. Jadie is a star! The newest addition, Rachel, completes the perfect duo in the office. I hope they stay! Because of the big rent increase for the first time since I moved in, I thought about not renewing. But Jadie and Rachel are so honest and friendly, that I decided to renew for 15 months more. People in the office can make or break customer service and these ladies can make it!

The Quarry was a community we researched prior to our visit to San Antonio to apartment shop. Upon visiting we found the community to be well maintained and beautiful in a great location. Above all, Aftan was amazing and very helpful. She was very knowledgeable and was able to fit us in last minute during her busy Saturday. Jadie gave me a tour of the property and she was the absolute best. knowledable and kind and absolutely hilarious. I wish all property staff were like her. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE AS A HOME!!!They turn your water off all the time. Once we were without water for 2 days. We are still waiting to get reimbursed for our hotel which they promised.Management does one of 2 things. Over promises and under delivers on everything or they dont respond at all...to emails, to phone calls, nothing. We are still waiting for repairs to be done from when we moved in 4 months ago.Location is great but living here is a nightmare. The maintenance guys spend their days racing golf carts through the parking lot, smoking dope or drinking booze. We have witnessed all three.We cannot wait to move!

With the new management, things are improving and maintenance issues are getting repaired in a timely manner. Everyone in the office is gracious and professional and I have mainly worked with Tyra (spelling) and she is very good at getting to know the tenants by name. She seems to care for everyone there and doesnt make you feel like you are a burden. She is smart and on top of everything and will remember to ask how things are going after the repairs are done, ie. if the water heater is working now, is the a/c running correctly. I dont like that there is no wiggle room for negotiations with the rates, especially if you are a long time tenant but hopefully things will change with that in the future. I appreciate everything the new management is doing to improve the property. Thank you.

Love the new look of these apartment homes. I have toured this complex in the past, but was not impressed. While touring the property, came across the maintenance staff, Which are very friendly and and on the go. (Always a great sign) I feel this could be just what I am looking for. This place has been a disorganized mess since I moved in. It doesnt even deserve one star but in order to put a review on here for everybody to see and put this place on blast in hope that this Station will get its act together I am adding 1 star. I got permission to move in a day early and it wasnt ready, the place was not cleaned and there were dirty needles in my home. There were a handful of items in the apartment that needed to be repaired and I was told before I moved in that I was going to have a new AC system and it is hot during the summer time and that AC system was not new nor was it fixed. Theres a huge issue with marijuana smoking in the buildings and our neighbor continues to smoke marijuana and it seeps into my unit, I have brought this to the attention of the managers on 8/22, 8/30, 9/3 & 9/22 and contunue to get no response and we have children here. Do not move into this place!!! Management does not keep on top of the upkeep nor do they care about the well being of their residences!!!

This review is for Jaydie that works in the office at Quarry Alamo Heights! Since we moved in about 8 months ago, she has gone above and beyond for my roommate and I! She calls to remind me of upcoming payments, she helps me check my mail and gets my packages! I consider her my friend, I have her cell number so if I need or think of something I can just txt her and she will always reply! She makes living her worth it in so many ways! She always has a smile on her face and is happy to help anyone who needs anything! Its so wonderful having her working here! I hope she never leaves, and if she ever did. Would you like to live in a mold infested apartment? Well this is the place for you!!!Lets start with 1st month we move in. Front office places eviction notice for 10 days. When I go to the front office and complained that I pay my rent on time. They said oops we put it on the wrong account sorry about that. But were not sorry that they reported it to the credit bureau.I cant tell you how many times we reported issues and never got help since the front office keeps saying I never reported it. I reported it to the front office more then 8 times , but manager says she never heard about it. Since they change staff every 2 months so you cant really talk to the person you reported it to. My daughter 9monthes was so sick from all the mold and then we moved shes fine now. After surgery to her ears from all the infections.Manager is th worst person and doesnt care about anyone issues besides keeping her job. We had to have a clean crew come in every month to help with the horrible conditions we were in. We have to buy A dehumidifier and air scrubber to keep us from getting sick.Mid summer our air breaks down and we reported to their emergency hotline which isnt really a hotline that works because they will tell you that you just have to wait till tomorrow. Ill have you know that Texas has the highest temperature in the summer yet it doesnt matter to these people when you have a baby in the heat, They told me that air conditioners cannot be fixed in the dark because it was already dark outside. I called several repair companies and they said that they would absolutely fix it if it were my apartment that I owned and that they do work in the dark because they own flashlights like every other repair person. So caution this apartment complex does not own Flashlights.One of the more dramatic things that happen was that the garage flooded from the upstairs neighbor. Maintenance man came by said will fix it to this day it has not been Fixed and it was a drain line so God knows what was in there.Then the apartment complex was getting renovations and they were spray painting everything they told us to put all our personal belongings in the closet to the patio so it would not be Damaged. Well the genius painter that they hired open the door and spray painted our personal property. We took the pictures to the front office and they said its not their responsibility call the contractor.You ask yourself why did I stay? Apparently you cant break their contract no matter what. You call the regional office call the regional manager and nobody ever calls you back. I even Facebook stalked her and she never called me. My husband and I wanted to leave but we were buying a house and didnt want our credit to be messed up by this company.Oh they dont check any of the tenants that live there. Our neighbor was renting out his garage to a family with kids and they were living out of the garage. I had to report it not to be mean but this was no condition for kids. After I asked front office if everyone was OK including the children. They acted like I had never reported anything and they knew nothing about what was going on but somehow the family that was in their moved out.This place is just a big joke I originally Move there because when I was in college it was a great place to live unfortunately new management and new owners dont know what theyre doing.The only people that try to help you or the maintenance Men.Ill be attaching photos of the wall that we opened to see how much mold we were living in. O and the manager from the front office took one look at it and said that it was not a big issue and told the maintenance on just seal it up. Theyll do anything to save buck even if it means your health or your kids health.

Way overpriced. Great location, but way overpriced for what you get. The other reviews are right about the maintenance. Be sure to document any sort of request. Also, they WILL raise your rent if you decide to resign. And dont expect to get your deposit back, no matter how much you clean upon moving out. One of the most frustrating customer service complaints is that there are always new workers in the front office. Nobody has any idea whats going on because they are always new. So it seems that the Crescent is not a great place to live OR work.

Worst apartment management. I have sent service requests to Gaby (Gabrielle Dimando - Assistant Property Manager) but she simply avoided and didnt fix issues, I thought its ok as they already know the issue. And when I requested for move-out walk-through they told only Gaby does it, but she told that she will do it later. I thought it might be ok, as the property was in good condition. But later Gaby has put false charges which Im not responsible for including the ones which I have raised as a service request!! When I called Gaby, she told that somehow they need to charge and they charge everyone like that. I told her I will come to leasing office and discuss on those issues but Gaby threatened me not to visit leasing office otherwise things will be worse !! I explained the situation to new manager Carrie Harmon (Property Manager) in email, she didnt respond properly and took lot of time to respond. Finally without even looking into facts she concludes that I have to pay all the charges and there wont be any change in that. I would have given 0 rating for this apartment if that option is available.Edit:After my review comment Management has responded with below deceiving comment as if they were ready to discuss and rectify the issue. But later when I called the property manager Carrie her response was your account has been moved to collection department you have to deal with them directly. First, they wont respond properly, later once the time has been passed they will make us victims. Such a cheap behavior from management.

Only positive about this place is the price vs location. Everything else is hilariously sad, so here we go...1. In my unit, a genius architect, decided to put the dishwasher right up against the door trim of the kitchen closet. So in order to use the dishwasher, you have to remove the door trim.2. The wall in between your neighbor is super thin. When I discovered this, I first thought someone was in my shower, but it was just my neighbors shower.3. The maintenance team seems like they hate their jobs. They do the bare minimum, and if you have a big issue that is after working hours, they wont do a thing to help you until the next day. I had CPS come out and deal with a power outage one night, because the maintenance guys didnt want to.4. When I moved in, they gave me a room that was a different floor plan than what I toured or what was advertised. Took them about 2 months to get me into the correct floor plan we had agreed to. Make sure you tour the actual apartment you will be getting.5. In some cases, there are very noisy ac compressors outside of bedrooms on the first floor. So if you cant handle noise at night, dont get an apartment on the first floor.6. Many of the ac compressors are very small, and struggle to keep the unit cool on hot summer afternoons.7. They have some mighty speed bumps, which are more like sidewalk curbs than bumps, and lots of them. They are even rectangular shaped.8. There are no remotes to open the gates. You must memorize a code, then roll down your window and type in that code every time.9. Many of the parking spaces are less than the minimum width for a normal parking space. So if you have a large car, best of luck. (Hey management, you should mark spaces less than 9ft wide as Compact)10. For some reason they disabled the feature on their online payment gateway to where you cannot automatically pay your full amount due each month. So if you set up a scheduled payment, you have to guess what it will be for each month. If you guessed less, then you have to pay the remainder manually.11. All of the drawers and cabinets are made out of the same cheap stuff Ikea uses to make furniture. MDF that is stapled together. So be gentle with your drawers and cabinets.12. Some of these buildings have big time foundation issues. There are large cracks on the higher floors. Some have been covered up, some have not. Kind of scary.13. All of the dryer vents, vent out to the walkway in front of the apartments. So you have to traverse through the land of your neighbors dust bunnies in order to get home.

I edit my review to let others know, i used to live in that apartment, when we moved out I go over there and asked them to go check the the apartment together but she told me we will do it and we let you know. But suddenly they charge me 246$ for the general cleaning and standard damage, it shocked me because I spend a day to clean the apartment before I returned the key and there was not any damage and also for utilities they charge me 128$ ,but they are smart they divided into two part, first balance on move out for utilities and, second final utilities. There is no why, they have your SSN and as they did, they just sent me a email that you owe us If you don’t pay it in the next 10 days we will put a report on your SSN.

Worst place I have ever lived in my LIFE!I am a current resident of the Crescent Apartments and I cannot believe how poorly the apartment complex is managed and how little management cares about their tenants. I called the emergency after hours number because my air conditioner stopped working and it is 91 degrees right now. I have a 3 month old baby and the heat is intolerable. The answering machine said to leave a message if we had an emergency such as no heat or air conditioning. After leaving a message, the on-call maintenance person returned my call and stated that a broken air conditioner was not an emergency - even after I told him that I had a 3 month old! I was in disbelief in how unwilling he was to help out. His words - it is policy to not go on property after dark, if you have a problem with it talk to management.Additionally, there have been several occasions where the complex leaves its tenants without running water without previous notice and for hours at a time. Any time I try to report a complaint to management they are unwilliing to help and their typical response to almost everything is I dont know. This must be some type of landlord violation especially when there is baby involved having to live in an apartment that is 91 degrees!!I recommend that anyone who is considering living in this complex seriously gives it a second thought. My experience living at this apartment complex has sadly been very irritating and to an extent miserable due to poor management and poor maintenance. I am not blaming this on the actual maintenance crew, I understand that they must follow the procedures that management puts in place.

I lived here for 3+ years about a year and a half ago. In my 30s and this was the worst housing I have ever experienced. A/C frequently broken, water turned off often sometimes only cold. I have boiled water to take a bath there. Multiple month long waits for maintenance requests and the pool the poorly cared for. The staff would turn over about every 6 weeks and management would avoid and hide from upset residence in the back office. I sat and waited for 3 hours once to talk to a manager while they said she wasnt there before she finally walked out of the back. Just dont do it. Pay more to live in this area or the same to live in another neighborhood.

My wife and I moved here about 2 years ago due to the location. We both worked downtown and it was extremely convenient (took us about 15 minutes to get to work in rush hour traffic). Its a safe and quiet neighborhood with shopping and restaurants close by. Families, seniors, and younger couples live in this complex. Management has been easy to deal with and always quick to fix maintenance issues.

My daughter has lived in this apartment complex for 3 years now. I dont know how weve managed to do so with all the trouble and grief this apt complex has given us. The only good thing about this complex is the location other than that there is absolutely NOTHING else!! Maintenance is horrible and even worse is the management. Shes lived in 2 different apartments within the complex and both have brought on unimaginable experiences. The last episode with a flooded bathroom due to a leak, which by the way didnt warrant as an emergency by management, was the last draw. We are out of there next month!!

Great community in an awesome location. Within walking distance of the great quarry market full of restaurants and activities. There is a farmers market on Sundays with really great items and fresh locally grown fruit and veggies. New management in place and the office is really helpful and nice. Well, I dont live at this property but I was considering it. Arrived for a tour 2 weeks ago on a Saturday and was not even greeted as my husband and I walked in even though the lady in charge was there. She was assisting somebody else but a simple hello, we will be right with you would have been nice. After about 15 minutes, she asks how she can help us and we advise her we would like to tour & she looks at her watch and asks if we can come back in an hour as if we were an inconvenience to her. It was an immediate turn off and we didnt bother going back. A little courtesy can go a long way. FYI.

OMG! So much negativity is out about this place! I read ALL the reviews and RISKED it to come live here. It took a leap of FAITH! Honestly, the management when I signed the lease was not competent, but I really liked the GREEN space and price range for my budget! I have friends at the HIGH END places 327, 1800, 1221 ect... All are super INDUSTRIAL looking and way OVERPRICED. Might as well rent a 4 Bedroom House!The crescent did have poor management with the exception of the previous team when Clifton was here. But what do you expect if the property owners dont care to be actively involved in the investment of this property. Its beyond management hands. Lets be more compassionate and positive about them. Any property owner that is wise keeps major appliances well maintained. I can tell you, I have asked for what I need and its been done. Maybe not that fast, but done.More, than anything I pray and hope the property owners realize how wonderful this property really is, and invest in beautifying it.

Horrible place to live. DO NOT MOVE TO THESE APARTMENTS! water is constantly turned off without notice. Hot water lasts about 5min. Appliances are very very very old. Work orders are never written down by staff and must ask repeatedly to get anything fixed. At night it is pitch black in the parking lot, most lights on the property are broken or off at night. If you have pets they poorly maintain the grass so your pets will be going on weeds and dirt and no one picks up poop.

Property is under new management so they are working out their kinks and are supposedly going through a remodel of units. I moved out in late October of 2017 however and am still going back and forward with the office / awaiting the disbursement of my pet deposits which has taken well over 3 months... Just keep getting told that they are looking in to it.

This location is in a great area but the apartments are horrible and so is the staff!!!! The water would constantly be off due to repairs and i mean like once a week you would have no water for a day! Always claiming that there under new management but its the same old people that cant get anything done! They will loose your rent payment even if you pay online you will get charged $100 late payment even though it was there error. IF AT ANYTIME YOU HAVE A Maintenance request it will not get corrected for months! When i was looking at places to stay i saw the bad reviews of this location and wanted to give it a try bevause the area was nice but i regret it!!!!!! Please dont rent here!! Learn from me. One last thing is that if you have a nice car or even care about your car this location has alot i mean alot of feral cats!!! And they will sit!! Play!!!!eat!!!! All over your car just like they did on my 50k mustang gt and left deep scratches all over and the appt staff doesnt care that they have that problem, even when approached by animal services offering to get the cats addopted the staff didnt want to trap the cats because they were afread it would alarm the guest.

They do shut off the water more than you would like but its definitely not what the ratings suggest. Lived here for over a year and have seen one bug the whole time. The location is kind of great with regards to getting around anywhere in the city. Never really had any issue with maintenance or the staff. Generally if I ask for something they get it done in a reasonable time period. Anyways, Im just saying that if the only thing scaring you away is the ratings then Id give it a chance.

June 2018 Happy Holidays at Quarry Station... The pool has been more time closed than open. Now hot summer, holidays for kids and the pool is closed AGAIN... Cause it took them the whole week to get fixed the emergency phone. Come on people ! That is pretty odd.Not mentioned the Trash collectors and recycle areas , those are really disgusting. Too bad.

The crescent is over priced for what they offer. White appliances, dirty carpet, laminate counters, and a gym that is dated with equipment that doesnt work. I work in this industry of property management and yet the staff continues to show no customer service, because they are . . . too busy. . or lazy. The staff is not friendly and when they answer the phone they are rude and just short tempered. I hated every minute I was there, the gate was constantly broken, there were more A/C problems then they could handle and did I mention the staff. The staff is the worst! They still show that they are the worst even after a year you think they would revamp their work ethic since they have such a high rating on google or yelp. They dont care it shows in actions and in words.

One star all the way around. My boyfriend and I were looking for apartments and the girl who was there today (Sunday) was not very enthusiastic and her customer service was awful. She didn’t even try to sell us on it and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. In addition , the place looks so outdated. The “model” we saw looked like very little effort was put into it. I was really turned off.I also felt bad for the student that was there before we were helped . He was trying to explain to the girl that his books were delivered to the office. She made no attempt to help me track his books. She was just rude

No local staff will answer the phone. have tried for 5 days due to severe noise disturbance. have left messages on all 3 voicemail options. no one has addressed the unfortunate situation. even went to the office to report and ask for help. san antonio police cruiser and officer were in office parking lot. why? who knows. office person katie stated she would address the noise issue. she has not. it is obvious that the staff and property management do not care about the residents and neighbors. dont try to save a few bucks and rent at this uncaring property.

In July when new management took over things are getting done. no more maintenance issues, trees are trimmed and they are planning some more renovation to come. I am very impressed with the maintenance staff and the office staff. All are very friendly and kind!!!

December 22, 2015I reported that my was running water when i paid the the rent on December 1st.Nothing Happened.I reported it again on December 15th. This year is no exception. We have made it one month to the day with the pool open. This after it had been closed for weeks to start the summer.POOL CLOSED get used to it.June 15, 2015 Great News - the swimming pool water is actually clear and blue in color after a mear month. This is probably some sort of Crescent Apt pool cleaning record. If you like gated communities though the news is not as good there. The main gate has been broken for two or three weeks. Just drive on in there is nothing stopping you.May 23, 2015 After spending the week with the cessPool a toxic green color, our crack professional staff, in typical Crescent fashion, managed to get a pool company on site Friday of Memorial Weekend. I am happy to report that the pool is now a blue/green color and is probably no longer toxic, but is surely caustic with the Friday chemical treatment. So, here we are at the start of our first three day weekend of the summer. No has dared to go near the pool yet much less in it. Move here and enjoy Crescent living with us..May 22, 2015 Memorial Day cessPOOL update!! The pool is still a bright green color. Will probably take my daughter and her fiend to swim in the San Antonio river tomorrow, it will be safer. An actual pool service company truck showed up today. I have lived in variety of locations in San Antonio since transitioning from New York. This by far is the best apartment complex I’ve lived in. The residences, staff and management are all wonderful. People in Texas are so friendly. I think I’ve found my long term home.

Worst place Ive ever lived! They wont fix anything after you ask multpile times. They are rude. No pool access any longer and its green and disgusting so you cant even enjoy the pool area for laying out. They also shut off everyones water at least once per week. My walls are cracking on all four sides and in every room as well.

This place is the most poorly managed place I have ever lived at in my entire life..dont. Ever move into this place the people. That run this place have no clue how or ever will run a respectively apartment complex venue for the people. That live here..the maintenance here is so poorly ran and they know nothing but change a light bulb..but when it comes to fixing big problems..they tell you they dont. Get paied enough to fix big problems like tearing sheetrock out to replace the ac that blows hot for me like 8 months I lived there putting my 1 year old daughter in the hospital almost with a heat stroke..i turned in over 12 service request to fix the ac and they lost all of them..then they tell me the apartments ac units. Are to small for apartments when built and before the ac blows to your room it gets hot. Not our fault sorry...this place is a big joke..i got so mad I moved out and they send me a bill for 12 thousand because I moved out 1 month before my lease was up for a reletting fee lol..be warned I wouldnt move in this place if it was the last apartment complex in

MILITARY STAY AWAY!!!! You should stay away from any apartment complex that asks you to waive your Service Member Civil Relief Act (SCRA). Thats like waiving your rights for being Hispanic, black, Caucasian, etc...These apartments are in a great area however; it was built in a quarry and its foundation is not stable. Its noticeable by the cracks along the ceiling, walls, and foundation.I lived here for a year on the 3rd floor and my apartment used to shake and thats without anyone living above me (theres no 4th Flr).Management is the worst. Water is out constantly for repairs and they fail to notify you. They make appointments with you and fails to keep it.Pedestrian gate has been busted for over a year. They never changed their gate code the entire year I was there. Their fence line is falling. Their rain gutters are never cleaned which caused some to bend because of the water weight due to clogged drainage. They dont keep up with their common areas (breezeways, laundry room, mail center, etc).JBSA housing needs to ban this property and any property that ask to waive the SCRA.

Disingenuous at the least in regards to the pet fees on every bill. Apparently the pet fee, that covers damage from pets, was pet rent the whole time and doesnt help with the fees at the closing of the lease. So they will take your deposit and get a debt collector after you if the money order isnt turned in within two weeks. No warning call given.

I wish I had time and energy to write everything down, but many of the other tenants have done a pretty accurate description of the dump that this place is. I am just waiting for the time my lease would expire and will be out of here. Dont want to give this biatches a penny more than I have to. Someone should file a civil lawsuit and just bankrupt them, and put them out of their misery.

I love the area, the complex is not bad, but maintenance is just not able to handle issues Ive had on a timely basis. Emergency calls just go on like theres no emergency...very disappointed in what could be a great place to call home. It makes me sad that management hasnt corrected this since its not an isolated issue.

Lots of flooding here I heard very unkept.. What gets to me to many turnovers with management, nothing gets done.I fell in a ditch which was covered up didnt realize it was there hurt my self pretty bad talk to management about it. I was ditched to the curve next thing I know management change this was last year around this time I didnt live here Im a caregiver for a resident whom still lives here..This is just to let people know that the management response wasnt true, I reached out to managemen ,new management because I believed that what you quoted was genuinely true. Ok.Where can I start. This is my 3rd year in this complex. I wish I could change it now, but I am working on it.The swimming pool and the gym are just a joke. I asked why the swimming pool is always dirty or closed, and the girl who works at the office, answered me that since they had problem with AC, which was going to be more important to me. AC or swimming pool?Every time I have to go out or I am taking a shower THEY TURN OFF THE WATER. It is pretty much every day. But if you make 1 tiny mistake, they are really very fast in getting a extra fee to pay. How about giving us a big big discount for all the things that are not working here?

I have lived here for 9 years and it is the first time that I recommend the apartments, with Cynthias help I changed my apartment to a larger one. I appreciate the professionalism and interest with which he works, the time he has been here a very big change has been noticed, he pays attention to every detail and when I have a problem in my apartment that same day my problem is resolved. We hoped that the excellent location of the apartments would be a guarantee! But, Horrible Experience! An extremely dirty place, with old facilities, with terrible customer service, the pool constantly green, the gym out of service and to top it off, 6 months after moving I receive a letter where instead of returning my deposit they charge me an insane amount (which of course is not owed).It is definitely a place that if you like to live well, do not put it on your list!!
